slocg writers asked ruby to be on the show, used her for promo to bait her growing fandom into watching as a way to increase viewership, especially queer viewership since they were losing renee rapp (who was an asset to the show)... and then gave her character very little depth and barely any scenes. i can't stop thinking about that. like it's pretty obvious that's what happened and it's fucking shitty
