I haven't seen you for eternity and apparently we are almost the same person in vastly different places, so that is very funny to me. Carell heard the voice and spun, dropping into a fighting stance and pringing his hands up to a loose guard position. The being in front of him looked... odd. But then again a lot of demons looked pretty weird, so he couldn’t throw stones. "Of course I could. I can always feel when someone is watching me. Now who are you?" Hypervigilance was both blessing and curse after all.

"Where the hell am I? I turned a corner and now I'm here?... I don't recognize these buildings..." (Hi, this is Carell. Who can get lost in a gas station because he has no sense if direction)

A human who seemed to be lost? Probably harmless but you never know. The Numer kept an eye on them.
