 - NahahahaHAHAHAHAHahahahaha!! – Virgil shrugged, struggling to protect his neck from some of the ones that insistently dragged themselves from the shell of his ear, slowly wiggling to the base of his neck, focusing some mean strokes there before making all the way up one more time, and then one more and one more and one more, just caring to change to the other side or deviating their attention to concentrate in the spot right under his chin, getting few mixes between squeaky muffled snort and the low giggles flying from the huge smile, so rare, which took over his lips. – ROHOHOHOHOHOHOHOMahahahahaahahah!! – His hands went up in the attempt to do something before immediately going down when he felt two feathers get into his sleeves, quickly went dangerously close to his armpits. – Ihihihihihi gohohohohohohna to KILL – Squeak, squeak, squeak. – YOHOHOHOHOHOU! NAHAHAHA!

 - Nohohohohohohoho! Ple-hehehehe-pleHEHEHEASE! – Patton knew, deep in himself he really knew, that it was useless to beg to inanimate beings mercy. Albeit, in the exactly instant three of the fluffiest, tickliest feathers he even felt in his whole life found his unfairly, extremely sensitive bellybutton, the tip of them digging and carefully spreading the tickles equally in its walls, sometimes even slipping to the unprotected skin outside the tickle spot, spinning and spinning nonstop. - NOT THEREHEHEHEHEHE! NahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! - He didn’t care if they could hear or even understand him, specially when his trashing pushed his shirt up and in the same second four others feathers, two using their quill and two their fluff part, traced the entirety of his waistline, exploding a shriek between his loud, belly (pun inserted) laughter.

 - ROHOHOHOHomahahahaan!! – Some few feathers manage to brutally attack his armpits in gentle strokes, leading Logan to maintain a strong grip of his hands in his hair strays, even if that meaned let enough space to the diabolic tickly tools dance in spirals into the sensitive skin, liberating electric shivers that got more unbearable every time they got in the middle of his pits and made all the reverse way back only to repeat the pattern a couple more of times again, just because he knew it would be worse if he let his instincts take over and low his arms. The single thought of the attackers stuck in his armpits being enough to make a blush burn in his features and his ticklishness increase as his arms trembled as his will power. - Mahahahahahahake it STOHOHOHOHOHOP!! – However, when he felt the quills starting to poke and draw whatever thing a feather would knew draw in every inches of not only his pits, but also his upper ribs and biceps, leading his laughter to rose some octaves and his eyes close tightly, as if this would help to ignore the feeling, the usually serious and rational side really thought in just give up and fall into the same beg technique as Patton.

 - It isn’t uhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhunder my cONTROHOHOhohohOL – The prince kicked as a large amount of feathers got into his pants and now focused in happily, quickly scribble and flutter around his calves, his fight only leading them to spread and therefore research a bigger area, as well as it gave new spots to satiate they curiosity, for example the skin extremely susceptible to soft touches behind his knees which made a loud, uncontrollable laughter escape from his mouth. – At least NOT ANYMOHOHOHOHOHORE!! – And then squeals took over his vocal chords, especially when, for instinct, Roman hugged his legs and trapped some feathers which now angrily wiggled behind his knees and seemed to make all the others tickle-attack with full force and speed, resulting to their creator to unfold himself and trash before the sensation become unbearable again and he hugged his legs, all the cycle repeating, again.

 Nothing more than laughter answered the aspect of romance, and, if he was being honest, maybe yes: Roman could stop all the tickly, evil feathers if he managed to get enough will and concentration. However, as his laughter reverberated amongst the others’ and that warm feeling filled their (faces and) hearts in a melody that lighted his soul, he wondered when this will power would ever appear.

NONNIE, I WATCHED IT ALL!!!! I binged the entire show in one afternoon and one night it was insane xD

Overall I really enjoyed it!! It’s not a show I will be a hardcore fan of or anything but it’s very entertaining and I am definintely looking forward to the second season :)

The most entertaining part was trying to figure out the timelines while watching, and not to brag, but according to @staticpetrichor I did pretty well so I’m proud of myself for catching on the small details (so maybe I do want to brag a little about it hahahaha)

I absolutely LOVE Yennefer! Like, legit she is such an interesting character with a rich backstory and a well-built character arc and understandable motivations and fears and flaws, I love her. I felt like she was the actual main character of the season, honestly. Like, Geralt was at the center of the events, but Yennefer was at the center of the story, if that makes sense. I mean, even the fact that the last line of the entire season is “who is Yennefer?” is very telling to me in that aspect. I was irked by the idea of women having to abandon their fertility in order to become sorceresses, so having her arc being about her wanting her choice back, because truly she never had a choice, is something I really like and can’t wait to see where they’re taking it next season.

Geralt was good (HIS VOICE OMG I NEED HENRY CAVILL TO READ STUFF TO ME 24/7), but I’m hoping he’ll get more of a character arc now that he’s united with Ciri!! I feel like he spent the seasons going on side quests because he wasn’t ready to accept his responsabilities to her, which was really interesting and entertaining and I think it was necessary to his character, but I hope season 2 will give him more complex motivations now that he’s reunited with Ciri and ready to face his responsabilities. And I don’t know if it’ll happen, but I hope Yennefer and Ciri will get to bond, and maybe Yennefer will become sort of a foster mother to Ciri which would be amazing for the both of them!!

I enjoyed Geralt and Yennefer as an item but in a strange way xD Basically, I loved how Yennefer’s biggest fear was to not being loved, and how everybody says Geralt can’t love anyone (I know it’s bull, but you know, everybody tells him so), and then to have him fall for her so hard because she is just that amazing? Perfect. That moment when she said she wanted to be important to someone, and he answered “you’re important to me” OMG I SWOONED NONNIE IT’S WHAT SHE DESERVES.  ALSO THAT OTHER MOMENT IN THE TAVERN WHERE HE CAN’T TEAR HIS EYES AWAY OHMYGOOOOOD. Also I love the fact that Geralt sees a woman that could kill him so easily and his immediate response is *heart-eyes* because honestly, same xD

Jaskier..... Okay Jaskier was a strange experience for me. Mostly because I was expecting him to have such a bigger part in the show? I guess because I saw him everywhere on Tumblr so I thought he was a main character haha so at first I was a little underwhelmed when I realized the extent of his part. But now I think I really liked him!! I loved how he was basically a narrator inside of the story. I loved how he’s kind of on the outside looking in on the events, and how his songs frame the story of Geralt. It’s really interesting to watch, it feels almost like a breaking of the fourth wall but not all the way and I loved it!! Although I hope we’ll get to see the more serious part of him more in s2. He was fun as a jester but I really preferred him in the scenes where he was serious and emotional, that’s when I most liked him.

Dara is so sweeeeet I hope we get to see more of Dara in s2!!! Basically I want Yennefer to adopt all the stray kids of the continent because it’s what they all deserve xD

I was very intrigued by Ciri’s powers, I had some crazy theories about it (you can ask @staticpetrichor lmao I went to some pretty crazy places while theorizing during the show) but apparently it’s much simpler than what I thought? Little disappointed not gonna lie

Oh, also about the last scene, that hug between Geralt and Ciri was EVERYTHING!!! I was very emotional at that point (it was 4 in the morning so that might have been a factor xD) and it made me so happy!! All the characters in this show need hugs xD The whole scene with them hugging, Geralt talking about how people linked by destiny will find each other, and Ciri answering with asking him about Yennefer was very nice. It makes me think that the three of them might become a found family in the second season and.... I’m a sucker for found family so I can’t wait to see it.

I know nothing of the original medium so I went in mostly blind and I’m glad I did, although it was hard to understand the politics of the continent! But I feel like it’s the kind of show where you don’t necessarily need to understand every little line on the screen to understand the overall story, so it didn’t bother me.

one: the ghost of tom joad

I once ranted about this specific song in detail so here if anyone’s interested, but: it took me years to decide on which one was my favorite overall but then I went for tom joad because it has all. it’s a heartbreaking song that updates one of my favorite ever novels (the grapes of wrath) to current days situations and guys I swear to god the fact that he put to music tom’s speech to his mother in the novel at the end after rehashing the themes in a new light in the rest of it killed me and I want it tattooed, so. tom joad now and always thanks guys. I love this damned song to levels that are embarrassing as hell.

two: no surrender (in the live 75-85 version)

so: no surrender is originally on born in the usa and actually it’s my favorite song from that record regardless - like, it opens side two and I remember that the first time I heard it was on a tape a friend’s dad (haha) had lent me bc he knew I was into bruce and he was too and I turned it to the second side of the tape and played it and I was like holy crap this is it but then I heard the acoustic live version from the following tour and guys. guys. if you ever had friends you fell out of touch with but still remember fondly and/or friendships you know that even if you don’t talk for a while you’ll always be close when you meet again this is.. just… idk it hit me like a punch in the stomach and it never left. I cried every single time he played it live when I went to see him. no regrets. I love this song sfm and the melancholy in the acoustic version just destroys me.

three: for you (acoustic piano version)

I 100% realize this is probably a weird choice for top three, but: this was on his first album and the version on there is pretty damned good - it’s about a guy whose girlfriend tries to commit suicide and reminesces about their relationship - and you’d go like why, but: first of all he has some of his best lines in this (my electric surges free I just sdgsldjl) and the entire last stanza where he goes from where I found you broken at the beach to the end is just a knife into your heart, but this goddamned version here just goes and tears your heart out and stomps on it and I swear if there is one thing I want from bruce is that he plays this in front of me next time I see him live because for now I never managed and just - the slow piano kills me. I love it. the fact that when I asked brian fallon in a tumblr q&a his fave bruce song and he said this specific one just confirmed he’s a true intellectual. ;)

four: drive all night

or: this is the love song. I just. the first time I heard this I fell off the chair or something and it was the studio version which is nowhere near as heartfelt as the live versions and I swear it’s just - it has very lovely lyrics that perfectly balance melancholy and hopeful and don’t make it saccharine, the fucking sax solo destroys me every single goddamned time I hear it and when you get to the end and he says that she has his love heart and soul it’s The Most Heartfelt Thing I Have Ever Heard In My Life Or Close To It and I just, I love drive all night with every inch of my atoms, bye.

five: badlands

I ranted about this extensively yesterday here so I refer you to it for long rant about it, but tldr: this was actually the first bruce song I ever heard knowing it was by bruce - it wasn’t what got me on that train but it still was the first and like… I didn’t understand it for a long time bc my first run-in with bruce was a hit and miss but then I did and like, this song is basically quintessential bruce because it has all his themes rolled up into one, all the good stuff, everything that is good about his music and most of all live it’s a goddamned religious experience. 

so, that was for the top five, but top ten…

six: youngstown (click here for full rant from last year) which was a hard choice but this damned song slays me whether acoustic or electric and I love his use of language and how he built it and how he teaches you things in five minutes pretty much and how the music/mood matches the words in both versions and seems to mean different approaches but still doesn’t change the core of it, and is2g the last two lines and the second stanza and the line he recycled from the mahardige book he inspired himself with when he wrote this are just goddamned out of this world and like this one raised the ladder for years but I just, love it to pieces

seven: rosalita (come out tonight), or: bruce does serious and politics incredibly well but this one is just a delight from beginning to end, it’s fun, I could listen to it for a month without getting tired, it always puts a smile on my face and the entire last part where he tells her to inform her dad he has a record company now so no reason to hate that his daughter is with a moneyless musician is just… so… lovely and fun and lighthearted and I just really love this song a lot ;;

eight: highway patrolman or, there’s no way a top ten bruce songs has no nebraska material from me because nebraska Is A Damn Masterpiece and this one’s my fave off it, but tldr: the utter, absolute way this thing slays you with just voice and guitar and the way he makes you feel about the cop who ends up letting his brother with ptsd from vietnam escape after he accidentally kills someone is out of this world and I just, this one really has a way to make you empathize with the narrator and my heart ;_; (also the movie they made from it which is in that video is really good k viggo mortensen playing the brother with ptsd isn’t leaving me anytime soon)

nine: thunder road (rant attached to the link) or: this one is short and sweet but honest, it’s not The Definitive Love Song To Me just bc drive all night exists. this damned song is a masterpiece in itself. it’s flawless. it has the crescendo, it has the fact that at whichever moment in his life he sings it it works, ‘it’s a town full of losers and I’m pulling out of here to win’ is the most iconic line that ever ended a song or close to it and it’s exactly the kinda love song you wanna hear if you want realistic love song material and just, legendary. okay? legendary.

ten: american skin (41 shots), or: this actually is what got me into springsteen bc I borrowed the live album it was published on originally after my first try with darkness went so-so, I listened to it and was like ‘okay yeah he’s good’, then I got to this one and went like ‘wait a fucking moment this isn’t just good’ (count that I was twelve and understood maybe 1/5th in the english songs I heard), I actually looked it up, went like woah wait aaand listened to it for two weeks straight, bought the record, translated everything by hand, started reading about what the fuck was wrong with the circumstances for which it was written and here I am twenty years later dying over bruce and having been introduced thanks to him to 80% of his country’s societal issues or I’d have had no idea that early in my life. anyway: other than the sentimental value, it’s honestly out of this world good and the live version just nailed it way better than the studio that was released years later and I love bruce a lot, k? k.

Symphogea.r has brought up some serious possible backstories for the main characters, primarily involving abuse. Chris is immediately the one that comes to mind, given the details about her being sold into slavery after her parents were killed.

Maria, Kirika and Shirabe I’m sure also suffered some form of abuse due to practically being “experiments” as children to see if they’re compatible or not with any Gear or relic. (I kind of want to say that some children possibly died because the Gears aren’t something people can use so easily. If they aren’t compatible, the Gear/relic causes horrible backlash/damage and can very well cause death. So there’s no doubt that those three experienced abuse in some way (AXZ kind of showed that; even if it may seem “little” with Nastassja smacking their hands with a whip, it’s still very much a form of abuse.)

Being raised as experiments to see how people can use a Symphogear through the use of drugs can do something to a person’s mental state, I’m sure. It’s just something you can’t really just get over, especially if a majority of your childhood is basically that. (

But what makes this hard is because even with what the show/series gives us, there’s nothing straight up concrete. It’s pretty much 100% accepted around the fandom that Chris has been sexually abused during her times as a slave, then it’s rather obvious in terms of Fine’ in season 1 due to the type of person Fine’ is. But the show never states what kind of slavery it was. It was literally just a small few pics in the first season that clearly shows she was captured among with other children and what the manga has said/shown.

And what she says pretty much cements why people believe it was that type of slavery. (I can’t remember it 100% but she basically says “They didn’t listen when I told them it hurt. They didn’t listen when I said stop!”)

It’s just a common occurrence that they all share in their backstories.

Now the two people I haven’t mentioned are Tsubasa and Hibiki. Tsubasa and Hibiki, I believe, has suffered with a lot of (primarily) mental abuse. Tsubasa has been raised as a sword; her grandfather seriously slept with her mother just to keep the bloodline “pure”. Her father, who is technically really her brother, continued to constantly say that she “wasn’t his daughter” and called her nothing but a “filthy tool for the Kazanari family to use”. Constantly hearing that does things to your thinking growing up; it’s why Tsubasa continued to keep saying she was a blade/sword for practically three seasons and all in her songs.

Now Maria says that he really actually cared, but I still kind of have an issue with that because I think he needs some better communication skills lmfao. And I’m hoping they can move in a better direction now after GX. Tsubasa grandfather is still an asshole though XDDD

Now in terms of Hibiki, as I’ve mentioned like a billion times before, the keywords hint to her father being an alcoholic abusive dad. How? It’s not stated. It’s hinted to be physical, whether against her or her whole family is unclear, but the hint of abuse is actually there. What I’ve stated/headcanon was to be primarily mental, as she probably suffered enough physical torment (not to mention emotional) from the kids at her school.

How this can be emotional/mental abuse is in terms of one thing that Hibiki does a lot; apologize for things that aren’t her fault. What’s obvious, at least to me, is Hibiki immediately blaming herself for things out of her control. Ever since the accident, it’s as if she started taking this mental turn of literally taking the responsibility of everyone’s problems, thinking she’s indirectly the cause of it somehow, and it still (slightly) carries over with her now.

She made a promise to herself that she wouldn’t cry about that time in her life anymore, as she cried far too much back then already. But whether she realizes it or not, I think it still carries over into how she handles herself now.

Her random bouts of self-doubt, even if she clearly knows it’s not her fault and has gotten more confident, I think comes from this. One piece of character development I saw in AXZ was her finally admitting to Miku outright that something was bothering her. She lies immediately at first, as that’s her way of trying not to burden anyone with her emotions/feelings as she has done in the past, but quickly changes and say there is something wrong. Though at that time, it actually wasn’t about her; she was really worried about Chris after they came from Val Verde. But I still find it to be good development for her, regardless of how small.

Now how I believe her father contributed to this? By him leaving them.

I’d say it’s fairly natural to think it’s your fault. Perhaps Hibiki thought that she could handle the kids blaming her for the deaths at the concert, but to see all the harassment literally bleed into her personal life, making her mother, grandmother and father suffer to the point her dad leaves the family? Yeah.

And even before then, his way of coping was through alcohol. What he did while drunk, as I’ve stated before, it not straight up stated (and not shown within the anime at any point. Reading the keywords is the only way to find this out), but I’ve seen comics made by fans suggesting he straight up has been capable of physical abuse.

Personally, as stated before, I find him to have thrown more verbal abuse than anything, which only made it worse to the point Hibiki convinced herself that she doesn’t have a dad(?) and that her family is so broken that it can never be like how it was in the past.

GX was a blessing in this regard; seriously.

Again, this is something that can stick with a person for the rest of their life, even if they have gotten stronger in life. As to why I’ve mentioned multiple times already about Hibiki’s thought process/reactions with alcohol and all that.

But the point of all this is literally with the small ways I roleplay as Hibiki and how she reacts to people in threads. Hibiki isn’t a flawless person; she makes mistakes, (sometimes dumb and dangerous ones), thinking they are what’s best for people when she clearly doesn’t know the right answer or is simply that determined about her choice (which can be good and/or bad). If the person ends up upset, she immediately thinks its her fault, which I believe comes from her past with how much blame was thrown her way, even if she clearly knows that it’s not her fault at all. Maybe it’s kinda selfish of her to think that it’s always her fault?? If people wish to look at it that way.

If all that blame drove her father away, then who’s to say that it wouldn’t do the same with her friends/someone close to her? So she tries a little bit too hard sometimes, which again, can be good or bad.

I don’t know, it’s just something I always thought about in the back of my mind but never really had the courage, so to say, to actually talk or mention it. Because I probably really don’t know what I’m talking about nor do I know how to actually communicate it well. It seems easier enough for me to “sneak” small stuff in threads instead of actually telling people or talking about it.

BECAUSE LOOKING AT THIS POST MAKES ME THINK IT’S A MESS AND peeps looking at me like I’m crazy. XD I have too many emotions about this sort of stuff and how it affects her, the people around her that may not even know it, and how she may actually deal with it in certain situations.

I am so sorry for all this. Lol. I really hope it doesn’t sound like I’m “romanticising” it or something because I really want to take this seriously and know/learn how to handle it correctly in threads if anything like this ever comes into play.

1. You’ve been friends with your bias for some time now and you’re pretty sure there’s some mutual attraction between the two of you. How does this attraction get resolved? Does someone confess (who)? Is it more physical? Do you agree to remain just friends? Or does it stay unresolved?

Ok, so umm, we all know Yixing is a flirty little shit but I think at the same time he’d be a little oblivious to it. Knowing me, I’d be probably the one to confess, he’d reject me and everything would just stay unresolved.

2. Do you have a recurring daydream you like to revisit? What is it?

I like to draydream that I am already a doctor and out of the hell that is med school.

3. How did your bias become your bias?

He slapped me in the face and told me to choke ._. lol no, jk. I actually biased Sehun and Jongdae before I biased Yixing. I biased him when the first episode of Go fighting! aired and China and I realized just how different and funny and pasionate he was when he was speaking in his own language. 

4. What’s one song from your bias group that can always make you happy?

I guess you mean kpop bias gruop, and that’s EXO so...  I don’t know, they don’t really happy happy songs but I would say El Dorador chinese version or Dancing King.

5. Are you right-handed? Left-handed? Ambidextrous?

I am right-handed but 6 years ago when I was about to take my Uni acceptance exams I got paranoid and thought I was gonna break my arm and I was not going to be able to do my exams so I learnt to write using my left hand lol So now I’m ambidextrous.

6. You call in to the radio show your bias is a guest on. It gets picked up and now you’re live on the air. What would you say to them?

I DON’T KNOW WOW. Seriously, I don’t know?? Why did you decided to make Sheep a title song when you had the masterpiece that is Mask????

7. What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

I have been to SO many concerts lol. I love love love every concert of Love of lesbian. La pegatina are really fun live so I really liked them too. After the Fito & Fitipaldis concert I spent 4 days not being able to talk bc of how much I screamed

8. What’s your favorite film genre and what are some movies you would recommend from it?

I’m not a big film fan but I love spanish and argentinian films. I recommend Relatos salvajes, El hijo de la novia (<3), Fe de etarras, La voz dormida, Diarios de motocicleta, El laberinto del fauno, Salvador...

9. What do you think other people’s first impression of you is? What do you want it to be?

Well, I don’t think, I know for a fact (because they tell me) that I don’t cause a good first impression. They always say I’m too serious, too strict, too blunt, too intimidating... and then after the first impression they always say the same: I was so wrong, how?? Well, that’s the curse of being a woman and having resting bitch face and a deep voice.

10. Is there a book that you’ve given up on finishing? If so, why?

YES. The girl with the dragon tatoo because... are those many many MANY descriptions really necessary? Like, I don’t care about the names of ALL the furniture you bought in IKEA or your shopping list. I DON’T CARE. Get to the point, damn it. And also The girl on the train because I found all the protagonists insuferable.

11. You went to a fansign and your bias signed your album and drew a special note + a little doodle just for you. What does the note say and what’s the doodle? Do you show it off to everyone when you get home or do you tuck it in a safe spot and take it out once in a blue moon to reminisce alone?

My absolute favourite holiday is Carnaval. In Spain it can last for 3 weeks (if you know how to do it lol) and I love dressing up in costumes and mess around. I also love Carnaval food. So yeah, food, family and funny costumes.

Seven had the idea to makea karaoke night and he has a blast with singing to all the songsfinally he lets you have a turn too.
