I just finished reading the manga "Ganota no Onna", which is about a woman who is a Gundam otaku and is particularly obsessed with Char and all his red mobile suits.

Originally I read it because alas I Know What It's Like To Be That Girl, but it ended up having a surprising amount of yuri undertones, which I was NOT expecting.

To be clear, it's all played for jokes. It's not actually yuri, and the main character spends a lot of her time crushing on a dude (who hates Gundam). But there are a LOT of instances where the female characters suddenly end up in lesbian situations.

Multiple characters are also explicitly referred to as lesbians, either by other characters or by the narrative itself.

At one point, they even come out and say that all the Gundam fangirls in this comic... seem to like girls.

As I said, this is all largely played for humor, but there are some parts where there genuinely seems to be something going on between some of the women. The main character has some sort of tsundere thing going on with another woman (Makabe, shown below) and this goes on throughout basically the entire manga:

This is all deeply fascinating to me because an ongoing joke in English speaking Gundam fandom is that Char Aznable is some sort of lesbian icon to whom even many sapphics aren't immune, and I'm obsessed with the fact that this manga may be saying that is the case in Japan as well.

As for the comic itself, it's fun and worth a read if you like Gundam because there are multiple very funny Gundam references and jokes, and several Gundam characters make genderswapped cameo appearances. The ending is very abrupt and IMO kind of weird, but the rest was fun and while I would not call it yuri, you can absolutely ship some of the girls together since it really is very heavy on that.

Mostly I can't get over the fact that this entire manga seems to be joking about Char Aznable being an Unexpected Lesbian Icon because it's just funny to me how deeply universal that is.

Some rambling

Cats Vienna is ending soon and I just want to write a few toughts down.

When I first got into Cats back in October I watched the 1998 DVD first then I went to the theatre to see it (I blame google ads for that because I was googeling the Musical and of course living in Vienna I got an ad for the Ronacher. your not immune to online ads but in this case I’m happy about it haha).

After that with the theatre being quite expensive I stuck to the DVD for quite a while and then I became part of the Musical Club that the VBW have so I could get tickets quite cheap like one hour before the show starts.

That’s when I started to go regually. When I felt like Cats I didn’t watch the DVD I literally just went to the theatre. That was really amazing for me because so I could become a fan not just by watching the DVD but by seeing it live again and again (I’m somewhere between 20-25 times now).

Seeing it live has quite a few advantages.

First of all Vienna has quite a few Swings and “minor” characters covering “major” characters so I was able to see quite a few actors in different roles and see their different interpretations of the characters. And because some portrayed their relationships with the others very differently from other actors it fed my headcanons and my poly ships.

Next advantage that other than the DVD, where die movie is a fixed text that can’t be changed, theatre is an “open” text which changes with every evening you go. There was always something new or/and something different to see and to fall in love with.

Also you become biased. That’s some sort of taboo to talk about in some fandoms but I’ll just say it: You start to enjoy some actors perforamnce of a character more than an other’s. This is of course very subjective in most cases. Cats was the first Musical I saw that often and let me tell you: There is a certain joy I developed when I saw certain names on the cast list. I do not know if that is an unique experience or it other musical fans have that too because I never was part of a musical fandom before.

All in all the cast in Vienna is absolutly amazing. I don’t know how long I will be part of the Cats fandom because my fandoms tend to change but I’m pretty sure that if I get the chance to see other productions later in life that I will take it just so I can reexperience the joy I felt every time I went into the theatre during the last half year.

And not just the cast. The orchestra, the stage, the costumes, the make up the production as a whole is absolutly amazing. So much thought and love went in every little detail and even thou it’s a classic post 1998 Movie reblica production it has it’s own vibe and feeling to it. The costumes alone do not make the characters, the actors do.

The Vienna Cast is absolutely amazing, and I will always remember them and their enactment of the characters very fondly. They were quite some hissy kitty cats but they portrayed the bond between the characters and their love for each other so well.

This post is more of a dairy entry for me really. This post is mostly me “fangirling”, it is subjective and biased and I’m not a professional theatre critique (thou I had to write some reviews for university). I generally do not know the criteria for good or bad acting, I’m not a professional dancer and I have no theoretical knowledge about music.

I can only write about how much joy these people and their performances brought into my life. This text is very subjective, it talks about my interpretation of the acting and a big part of it is just me fangirling and saying how much I loved their performance. I just want to shout out some of them specifically.

 Anneka Dacres (Cassandra)

Most of the times I went she played Cassandra and she really made me fall in love with the character. She really took her three words (thou I do not know for sure if Vienna used them, but I guess): haughty, disdainful, aloof and put them into her performances but she didn’t make them her whole performance. She also had a lot of fun with the character, especially during the Tugger number, the Jellicle Ball and Mistoffelees.

She stuck out to me from the beginning. Her posture and movements were always on point, and she put so many small details into her performance. First time I went I knew next to nothing about the characters but her cleaning herself before getting picked my Mistoffelees, being the only cat that was not trying to get chosen for the part but was just minding her own business was so fun. The actors don’t use words, there is no dialogue, so they must put everything into their acting. Her being surprised, pointing at herself and then shaking her head like “what? Me? Nooo!!!!” was so well played and funny from the first time I saw her when I didn’t even know her character trades or name and is still one of my favourite parts of the musical till today.

More than once I was lucky to sit front right, right there where she talks to during the Naming of the Cats. Her facial expressions, eye movements and reinacting of the words were always on point and she really took that “acting like a cat” very seriously. She could be seen cleaning herself in the background from time to time. During the Jellicle Ball I loved how she sometimes looked confused after the cartwheel but then when seeing Alonzo there was pure joy on her face and she took his hand and perfectly in sync they danced together. She also portrayed so much joy during the Bomba section and the Rum Tum Tugger, but at the same time she could be proud and aloof, especially in front of Grizabella or when she got attention by other cats that she wasn’t feeling at the moment (in character). I loved the moment, when she shooed Victoria away, looked and Grizabella and then left the stage with every movement looking absolutly on point, cat like and proud.

It never seemed inconsistent to me but simply cat-like. Most people who own cats know how it be sometimes. In one moment, they are playing or snuggling the next moment they become very distant and don’t want you to touch them at all.

Anneka Dacres also covered Demeter and Bombalurina a few times and I was so lucky to see her as Demeter once. I loved her portrayal of this character too. She put so much emotion into her acting and seeing her dancing the Macavity number was so amazing. With her you could feel the story that is told through the choreo.

 George Maniadis (Alonzo)

At the beginning of getting into Cats I wasn’t really interested in Alonzo at all. In the 1998 movie he was just there for me. I didn’t understand the fandom obsession with the character and then Maniadis’ interpretation of the character stepped into my life. He and his performance made me like the character.

His line during Jellicle Cats is: “Bist du stolz wie ein Pfau?” and he took that line and made it an important part of his character. He played Alonzo vain, he was always cleaning himself in the background and carrying himself with a little bit arrogance. He thought that he is the main character and made sure that the audience had the best view of him all times possible. At the beginning I thought he was scared by Grizabella but really, he was disgusted by her. He also took the uncertain part very serious whereby (?) I would describe him as more scared especially when confronted with danger like Macavity. During the first Macavity scare when the cats leave the stage, he often really tried to be brave and to stay at Munkustrap’s side, but he just was too scared. Again, no words, but Maniadis portrayed it so well, the proud posture at the beginning, then started to crouch slightly and hastily leaving the stage.

He also played the Macavity fight so well. He came back on stage, looking at the fight and at the other cats, like he was looking for somebody else to step in. When nobody stepped in he had to find his courage and do it himself. It was always so great and so satisfying to see him overcoming his fear in order to help the others.

Maniadis also played Alonzo quite flirty, mostly with Cassandra, a lot of Bombalurina, some Demeter and sometimes even some Jennyanydots. He also put so many small details and interactions in his performance and was always 100% in character. He also was very good at portraying a cat, a very neat and clean cat. His dancing was always amazing and enjoyable to watch especially during the Jellicle Ball (Jellicle Cats are black and white and big boiis 1 A+).

I was also lucky to see him as Admetus/Macavity a couple of times and he was the scariest Macavity from all the Macavity’s I’ve seen in Vienna. Greatly enjoyed his performance here too.

 Nicholas Li (Admetus/Macavity)

Like Alonzo I never cared much about Admetus in the 1998 movie then Li’s interpretation of the character stepped into my life. This man put so much joy and effort into that character.

He was always so happy and cute, and I loved how he sometimes nuzzled Electra’s head after helping her with the trapeze.

During Tugger, I know that Tugger is the protagonist of this song, but I usually looked at Admetus when he was played by Li because it was so enjoyable to see his different facial expressions and the small details he put into his performance. More than once he for example nuzzled Tugger’s head when the other cat was leaning on him.

He was also always very active during Grizabella’s performance, interacting with Carbucketty and Bill Bailey. During other numbers he stepped in when either Bill Bailey or Carbucketty were missing.

He was always so fun and cute during the pas de deux, very shy at the beginning and very proud of himself, when he lifted Vicky. More than once her tail landed in his face, and he seemed like he really needed to hold back his laughter. His posture and form always seemed right and on point for me.

He was also an amazing Macavity. Admetus/Macavity is more of a dance role, and I can’t stress enough how perfect he was casted for that role. You could really see how well he worked with the others, especially with the Munkustraps and Alonzos, so everything would go right. The little signs he gave them so they would know when to jump him. He also played the being hurt at the end so well, when everybody was attacking him, he just wanted to get away.

 With all three of them Dacres, Mandiadis and Li you could see how much love and effort they put into their characters and into their performance. Even thou there is no dialogue in cats they portrayed their characteristics, sympathies, dislikes and their emotions over all so well through playing and in some cases even put them into their dancing. I can’t do a really close analysis because I can’t rewind and rewatch certain parts put it always felt to me that Dacres put a lot of elegance and precision in her dancing, Mandiadis did the proud and sexy parts very well and Li as Admetus was always so playful while being very dangerous, forceful and threatening as Macavity.

I think we as a fandom must hype up the dance roles more (I’m a biased bitch). Vicky and Misto get a lot of love but what the Admetus/Macavity actor must pull off is also incredible and I feel that the dancers hardly ever get recognition for it because general audiences can’t tell them apart from the other cats and Admetus doesn’t do the bows in the Macavity costume. If you ever have the chance to see a performance, give him all your applause and cheers, he really deserves it!

 Barbara Obermeier (Jellylorum/Griddlebone)

I just looked at all the cast lists from the dates where I went and Barbara Obermeier played Jellylorum so often. She was always an absolute amazing Jellylorum, a little bit more fun and chaotic than your usual Jelly I would say. She had a lot of great interactions with Gus, taking his hand for example when leaving the stage during a Macavity scare. During Tugger she was so much fun. One time she imitated his hip movements, another time she was a part of his “band”.

During Gus she was always so caring but also a little bit done with his antics. You could see the Fremdschämen on her face when he tried to do his growl, but it didn’t come out as expected.

She is also the main reason why I started to enjoy the Growltiger part. Honestly, I don’t like Opera at all, it’s one of my least favourite genres of theatre but her voice was always so beautifully clear that after some time I really started to enjoy this part. And she was such a fun and dramatic Griddlebone. I enjoyed when she pulled her long tail away from Growltiger and showed him a no no no with her index finger.

I also was so lucky to see her as Grizabella and she played her sadder and more broken I think than some of the other actresses. And I’m absolutely in love with her voice, really. I know this is a me problem, but I have something with my ear/nose so sometimes it hurts me when things explode on stage and the “touch me” part usually did too but when she was performing it didn’t hurt. I could really enjoy this part to the fullest.

 Jo Lucy Rackham (swing, dance captain, booth, covering 1/3 of the cast!)

I saw her as Demeter, Rumpleteazer, Electra and Carbucketty and there was hardly a performance I went to where she wasn’t on stage (and when she wasn’t she was in the booth). None of the performances I watched were without her (apart from one). For me she IS Cats Vienna. I completely fell in love with her pure talent, versatility and hard work.

Every single character she played she played differently. She is not just a great singer with clear voice and a great actress she is also an amazing dancer with perfect stamina while singing, even during numbers like Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer or Macavity. It always felt like she knows and understands every character (as dance captain it’s probably also part of her job) and she put so many details into every single character she played. If I would write everything down, we would be sitting here still tomorrow. Just know following: Fun and cheeky Rumpleteazer, great interactions and chemistry with Mungojerrie, Tugger and some of the younger cats. Extremely prominent and energetic during the Jellicle Ball. She also knows Demeter well and I loved her portraying her relationship to Macavity with fearing him and being drawn to him at the same time. It always felt like she really thought about Demeter’s backstory. Macavity Number A+. Great Jenny, great tap dancing, great interaction with Bustopher Jones, Tugger and Victoria (+other kittens). Extremely cheeky Carbucketty, also dancing with Misto during the Jellicle Ball was very enjoyable. Great interactions with Electra, Bill Bailey and Grizabella.

This woman was hell of prominent on stage and always did an absolute amazing job for every single performance.

 Others I want to mention:

Vicky Riddoch: Saw her as Electra, Rumpleteazer and Jemima. Amazing actress and dancer (Electra has centre stage during the last part of the Jellicle Ball and she absolutely deserves it <3). She is so fun and had always great interactions with the other cats and with the audience even thou she had to stay on stage. A+ cat like movements and facial expressions always on point.

Meghan Peploe-Williams: She will always have a special place in my heart because she was the first one to newly join the cast after I became a fan. I saw her as Electra like three times or something and she brought so much joy to the role. Loved her interaction with Bill and how she played during Tugger and Skimble. Also saw her as Tantomile and Cassandra. Very cute and very caring Cassandra and Tantomile.

Both are the reason I fell in love with Electra too.

Anneke Brunekreeft: Saw her as Demeter quite I few times and I always loved her voice and her portrayal of the character, especially how she played her relationship to Munkustrap. To me it seemed like you could really see how the romance evolved through the play. Also saw her as Jenny, Tantomile and Bombalurina. Loved her performances here too. Versatile queen.

Giulia Vazzoler: To me this woman has one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard live, and she has incredible stamina during the Macavity number. I loved er portrayal of the character very much, especially her reactions to and compassion for Grizabella. Also: Amazing dancer. I can’t describe it but I just love when you can feel the Macavity choreo.

All in all: Vienna has had amazing Demeter actresses. Good job with the casting.

Petra Ilse Dam: I fell absolutly in love with her Tantomile. She was always so in synch with her Coricopats but made the character stand out on her own. I also loved the sort of friendly beef she had going on with Rumpleteazer. That brought so much joy to the character. Loved that she also recogniced Macavity and on some evenings sche had more interactions with Demeter which I loved too. Saw her as Bombalurina too and enjoyed her performance as the red queen too.

Hannah Kenna Thomas: Nearly every time I went, she played Victoria und most of the times she was on fire. I loved her reaction to Grizabella (and not being allowed to touch her, lol) and how well she played her admiration for Tugger. Her dancing in form and posture during her solo and during the pas des deux looked always so clean and right

Andrea Luca Cotti: nearly forgot him because he left a few months ago but he was an absolute amazing Mungojerrie. I loved his voice and his acting so much. He was fun and chaotic and had absolute great chemistry with every single Rumpleteazer he played with. In German I would describe his Mungojerrie as schelmisch and that’s exactly how he should be. He made people in the audience laugh a lot.

And last but not least:

Stephen Martin Allan: An absolute happy, fun, wiggly and sassy Mistoffelees. He took his character trades but never “overplayed” them. He was a little bit aloof, quite a bit neat and hardly ever competitive but still. I always loved the faces he made in reaction to the other characters or even to the audience, how he looked happy, curious, shocked or even scared. As far as I can tell he is an amazing dancer. The conjuring turns were always on point.

I mean I could shout out the whole cast. In my opinion they were all amazing, really (I now see here a had a strong bias towards the dance heavy roles haha). Great dancers, great singers, great actors, very multitalented and very professional with mistakes, mishaps and accidents. I started going regularly quite at the end of the run and they all seemed like they had their characters and how they wanted to portray them figured out. The make up was always amazing, even if you sat very close. I do not feel sad that it is ending. I’m happy that I had the chance to watch it as often as I did and that these people brought so much joy to me.

In retrospect this cast and their interpretations of the characters are the main reason why I got into Cats.

Goldy I never thought I would reach out to any Jikook blog but after your last post I have to. I am an east asian american and trans. I have never spoken on this issue, commented or posted about this. I am a Jikook supporter but sometimes Jikook supporting blogs don't feel like the friendliest place. I want to thank you for changing my opinion on that. It is an insult to BTS to say Jikook don't know they seem gay or that they don't know what gay looks like. It is an insult to fans like me to say it would be OK to do the things they do if they were cisgendered straight men. I personally saw a few people say or dance around this and they got intimidated by big blogs for it. I would never name names because I beleive in free speech and the right of people to express themselves, as long as it isn't hate speech. Supporting lgbt people and making sure they don't feel endangered is MORE IMPORTANT THAN STANNING A KPOP BAND and I say this as a 4 year long bts and Jikook stan. So many people don't want to touch this issue and I understand why.

But thank you for supporting ACTUAL lgbt people as well as bts and showing stubborn people that BTS mean gay rights when they say gay rights.

I don't know why but this Ask made me cry...

I've been reading it over and over for the past two days and each time I feel humbled by it. Thanks so much for sharing this with me.

I think the era of the obsessed 'kids' and '13 year old shippers' in this space is coming to an end. I think it's time for a more nuanced mature conversation on what it means to ship and stan our faves in today's sociopolitical climate.

Let's intellectualize shipping and use it as a vehicle for social change not just pleasure. Sabotaging political hashtags is a start. Trending and donating to BLM is equally important. Fighting for gay rights and recognition is the next step and a natural progression from here- and about damn time!

Gone are the days where celebrities and idols were immune to accountability and personal responsibility. We live in a world where everyone is required to be converstant in and sensitive to social issues. Awareness is woven into our collective consciousness and for some of us we cannot divorce that from our pleasure receptors.

Hate to quote my pastor but, 'As a kid, I spoke, thought and reasoned like a kid. As I grew up, chilee darling, I put my ghetto ways aside. You feel me?' Lol. Yea, my pastor hood like that. Lol.

The fact of the matter is, BTS has a higher mature demographics now. Majority of us grew with them, if not past them. They are not seventeen anymore, Jin is almost thirty, the youngest in the group is past twenty three and majority of their fanbase are breaching Young Adult well into Adulthood and beyond.

We simply cannot view them with the same lens anymore. If we did, we would be infantilizing them if not enabling them.

We ought to be able to have certain conversations that reflect our age, hearts, backgrounds, experience, values and beliefs.

We can't sit behind our television sets and smart phone screens in this day and age and assume BTS sat through a performance like this and did not for a second think about what it meant, why the crowd cheered at certain moments or even understand the impact, message and intent behind it- especially not when Halsey, an openly bisexual woman and advocate for LGBTG rights is an acquaintance of thiers.

I don't know how a fraction of this fandom can assume BTS would have a collaboration of this nature and not know anything about the gay rights discourse or what queer baiting is or not consider how their actions may or may not be contributing to the marginalization of persons as these- to not have agency and personal responsibility or empathy.

JK cannot stan a gay artist such as Troye Sivan and divorce his music from his sexuality because it flows from it. Not when Troye has openly spoken about the struggles he went through as a closeted gay man, coming out and how that affected his mental health.

JK knows what gay is, he is aware of the struggles queer people face on a daily. His decision to cover, license and recommend songs by this artist is a deliberate act coming from a place of being informed on the matter.

Jimin knows. RM knows. Suga knows.

BTS cannot prepare a speech like this while oblivious to the plight of the LGBTQ plus community. I refuse to believe that simply because it's not true. Anyone who says otherwise is a scammer. Lol.

And I think they are intelligent enough to have cognisance of the fact majority of the world view certain aspects of their home culture as problematic and non-progressive and that this same world is watching them and what they do in this space matters.

They are part of the conversation. And it's in their interest to present themselves as queer a queer friendly band and company by distinctifying themselves from these 'traditional' Kpop bands.

I believe they know that being woke gives them a competitive advantage as MCs and advocates for the youth in today's world.

I believe they are aware certain things in their 'fan service culture' doesn't fly in the space they compete in and want to compete in. They are competing and rubbing shoulders with top LGBTQ plus advocates, sharing seats with them at awards, standing next to them- they best to look sharp.

It's obtuse for anyone to fall on the 'culture' rhetoric to excuse certain behaviors of their idols when actual queer people from and within that same culture fight against it.

Most S. koreans I know and have come across complain about their 'culture' and some even harbor strong resentments against this whole fanservice culture.

Holland, an openly gay Idol from South Korea, has equally spoken out against the 'fan service' culture prevalent within Kpop on several occasions and laments how it depoliticizes queerness and affects actual queer people within S.K.

And isn't it funny that the same conservative Christian population who strongly oppose homosexuality in S.K often lead online campaigns against Jikook for 'promoting homosexuality' because of certain fanservice and skinship they do?

If skinship is normal and fanservice is culture, why does conservative S.K keep pushing back against it? It's their culture uno?! Lmho.

Queer south Koreans and conservative Christians hate fanservice culture and yet here we are using their culture to defend it as if it's all black and white. Lmho.

Did they or did they not see South Korean's reactions to this performance by Jikook? The mixed feelings most had about it?

Men can nibble on men's ear but God forbid they toss them in the air and catch em💀

South Koreans are not a monolith. Their culture is nuanced like any culture. It's not static and not clear cut black and white either.

It's one thing to respect other's culture, it's another to perpetuate it in ignorance. Perpetuating their culture and being religious about it does not allow for the dynamism inherent in their culture.

Troye Sivan talked about how he'd stop in the middle of his concerts and performances upon seeing the hyper fangirls in the front row and then think to himself, 'I know they know I'm gay, so why are they still here...'

And this was before he came out.

Jikook know we know they are queer or that we think of them as queer. When Jimin talks about 'those that love me for me' he knows exactly what he is talking about or rather who he is talking to- it's not these hets I'm afraid.

Troye also talked about being privileged because he lived in a rather queer friendly neighborhood where everyone is gay and so he'd always felt safe coming out.

Isn't that what JK is doing?

Now this is a person who's without a doubt had a lot of influence on JK in his early formative years as an Idol right down to his decision to move into a much queer friendly neighborhood of Itaewon.

They know we know. Jikook is gay.

Thankfully, there are reports of a rising number of LGBTQ plus in South Korea, a lot of allies, a lot of queer folks coming out and a lot of companies opening up to working with gay idols and aspiring idols.

It's such a relief but a lot of work still needs to be done and I stand with them on behalf of Jikook and any queer folk in SK.

My sister is helping me reach out to an LGBTQ plus advocate from Seoul for an interview for my blog. If everything goes well, I'd love for her to share her thoughts on queer passing, queer baiting and fan service within Kpop and how that affects LGBTQ youth in South K.

It's a conversation I'm really passionate about and interested in.

I love me some ships, but I also love me some queer advocacy and human rights uno? Lol.

Thing is, I may quit BTS one day, but I can never quit being me. Being human. Always put the human first is my motto.

Gosh how do I choose one haha. I think ultimately it's her heart and how she does try to be there for the people she loves even when she doesn't know how to best do that. Hers is a constant battle against fear of vulnerability but a need for connection and it's very special when she makes it work.

least favorite thing about them

This won't be a big surprise, her cruelty. I think it makes her a compelling character because she has an internal reason to it but as I keep highlighting time and time again that doesn't excuse her behaviour. And when she doubles down she can really hurt people, even or especially those close to her. I think her brand of cruelty also comes from reading people well which means she knows exactly how to hurt them. Ouch.

favorite line

I'll never, ever, ever get over "I used to count the number of times you'd smile at me and I'd die on days that you didn't", god the pining of it all. But also shoutout to her speech to Rachel in 5x18 and her character-defining quote in 6x08 about being a strong Latina woman.

But in my eyes Santana is a nerd who doesn't want to admit she is one so she denies every passionate nerdy debate with Sam and dismisses it every time someone wonders exactly how come she can make so many obscure references. I'm not saying she's the type of fangirl of nerdy media we associate with tumblr for example but she will watch so many things in her free time and she will debate her favourite female characters with gatekeeping lowkey/highkey sexist nerds. I thought about this one for a while because I'm not an unpopular opinion kinda lad but I have three that come to mind, though how unpopular they actually are... I guess I mostly mean that these are things I've seen a lot on reddit and they annoy me because I disagree lol.

Popular fanon that she'll be a lawyer: really? Schue mentions it like once and it's in a totally misguided attempt to project a ~proper~ career onto her, which she rejects. Nah, I don't vibe with it.

On a related note, people taking everything she says at face value: I guess that's why show don't tell is dying because Santana can lie through her teeth when she puts her walls up and act the opposite, but people will still believe the shit she says instead of the shit she does. Example, Santana calling herself heartless and immune to other people's feelings. Sure, hon.

Again on a related note, I do not wish to discuss her character with people who don't believe she at least tries to be better and insist she's just a bitch, or even in the Brittana dynamic that she's the grump who only ever loved Brittany. I really dislike that popular narrative of Santana hating everyone else cause no, she canonically does not.

Actually A lot of tomdaya shippers (originally T fans) stopped shipping them because they don’t want to interact with Z fans anymore. They are incredibly toxic. For a good year they would go to T fan accounts and blogs just to rub Z and JE relationship and how she finally found someone as “deep” and intellectual like her and of course the height jokes and how “good looking” they look together, it was a lot. That’s why some of them are quite about TZ now they don’t want to interact with Z fans

Look, I'll just be honest..... I think that both Tom and Z have great fans and toxic fans. There are various types of fans in each fandom. No fandom is immune to toxic fans.

I feel like SOME of Z's stans felt personally betrayed on Z's behalf when Tom was spotted out with some blonde woman out of the blue. 👀 Yet another reason (reason # 565) why I kind of wish that Tomdaya had either allowed the gp to kind of know that they were a confirmed couple, without resorting to letting the fandom and the gp play "connect the dots". 🤦🏾‍♀️ Also, maybe a brief, bland, vague, "breakup announcement" would have prob saved them (esp Tom) a lot of crazy fan theories, "cheating rumors" drama, and ppl wouldn't have felt "betrayed" that he's with another woman since they would have already known that he and Z had already broken up by that point.

But, that's neither here nor there. 🙄

Those fans shouldn't have been making fun of Tom's height, or rubbing Jacdaya in Tomdaya fans faces. That's so immature imo. 🙄 I actually kind of wonder if those fans were more so Zeuphoria fans (fans of Zendaya through Ephoria) vs Zendaya's "old school" fans who have followed her since "Shake it Up".

I could be wrong, but sort of feel like some of those Z stans were newer fans, cuz those of us who have known of Z since Disney weren't really all that impressed with Jacob. 👀 At least, I wasn't. At first I thought it was cute that she wasn't sitting around at home all depressed after her breakup w/Tom, and I liked that she was having her post-breakup "hot girl summer" with a "hunky" Australian co-star..... But AS SOON as I heard the Joey tea on him????

And then I just started noticing more and more red flags with him as time went on. But I never stayed perched on Jacdaya blogs sending hate in, or made up nasty stuff about Jacdaya, or bullied Jacdaya blogs or any of that foolish nonsense! 🙄 I just respected her rlshp with JE, but hoped that one day she would see the light, coz the red flags on that man were a mile long.

Look......I'm just gonna be really REAL HERE: (*Warning ⚠️ Unpopular Opinion Coming Through*)........ I honestly just think that a lot of Z stans saw how some (notice I said SOME!) of Tom's stans treated Zendaya for years, and basically tried to ignore her, acted like she didn't exist in Tom's life, made thinly-veiled racist comments, or tried to pretend like they couldn't see that boy was crazy about Z, and almost worshiped the ground she walked on (denial, denial, denial), and I think Z stans just got sick and tired of it. 😒

I don't even think some of them really liked JE all that much....(did they even really know him lol? 😂) I just think some were just relieved that Z wouldn't have to deal with Tom's fangirls/fandom anymore honestly. 👀 🤷🏾‍♀️ So the whole backlash against Tom (or his stans) was in part due to that I feel. This is just what I personally observed.

And of course, there were some light-weight shippers who were just being superficial and just thought that aesthetically-speaking, Z and JE just looked nice together because they're both tall. Some weren't really following the ship all that closely or his history all that closely tbh. So they didn't know most of the stuff we knew about him. And the ones who DID, tried to paint it as "Tomdaya fans are spreading false rumors about JE to make him look bad because he's NOT Tom Holland" 🙄, when in reality, that "tea" was actually from Joey and Cari fans.... 👀 Some Jacdaya fans just chose to ignore it because they just wanted to see Z with someone OTHER than Tom (ABT's), and didn't even care about the dude's personality or reputation! 🥴

That's why I really question if some of these fans were REALLY hard-core, discerning fans of Z? Or are they more so just HUGE fans of Euphoria/Rules/Rue, etc, and just liked that Z was dating someone else in the Ephoria clique?

Also,did it ever occur to anyone that MAYBE (just maybe!) some of those "Z Stans" who were rubbing Jacdaya in Tomdaya faces were really just ANTIS and trolls who just happened to also be fans of Z? Those exist too you know. Idk,it's just a thought. Anyone who's THAT pressed to be rubbing stuff in Tomdaya fan faces seem more like ANTIS, and not real genuine fans of Z imo. Cuz why celebrate the fact that she's now dating a dude who's cheated on his last couple of gfs? 😒

And then on the other end of the spectrum we also have some of Tom's fans and also Tomdaya fans who were hurt and felt betrayed when Z and JE were spotted kissing out in NYC, and I think many fans felt sad on Tom's behalf because Z was always super private with him, but was more "relaxing" of her standards when dating JE 🥴 Then there were the Jacdaya/Z stans making fun of Tom's height during that time period, and just being really rude about an already AWKWARD situation for them... If you as a fan/shipper felt hurt, well, how do you think Tom (who actually dated her) felt? 😢

Anyway.....

With all of that said....

I still feel like all of this debating back and forth over which fandom did the other wrong is just an argument based on futility. 😖

Where does it really take us? What does it really solve? I've been saying this since last year here on my blog that Tom and Z are gonna do whatever the heck they want with each other, regardless of what fans think, feel, or want lol.

If they have forgiven each other and have made up, can't the fans do the same?? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Most of the anger seems to be more so directed towards the fandoms and not even towards Tom or Z personally themselves.

TZ can't help who their fans are anymore than you can help who your parents are. It's silly to be mad at a celebrity over their stans. You can't force ppl to like you, anymore than you can force ppl to NOT like you or be a fan of yours. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Most of the stuff that fans are upset at are things that happened over a YEAR ago! 🥴

Imo it's time to HEAL, and move on y'all.

1. AeriSeph (Aerith x Sephiroth)

I LOVE to pair characters who contrast and parallel with each other. Just like Yin and Yang ☯️ where two opposing forces are meant to balance each other. I love the many possible dynamics they will have.

Sephiroth who was 'created' to be the "World's Most Super Soldier"(you know what I mean) and of course, to be the Strongest Weapon of Mass Destruction. I know it sounds evil but actually, this boy TERRIBLY NEEDS A HUG. ｡:ﾟ(;´∩`;)ﾟ:｡

Why Fate is so cruel to him?! ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵┻┻

Aerith, on the other hand is a Human-Cetra hybrid. She inherited the ability of her Cetra ancestors of being able to communicate with the Planet. So, of course, being the Planet's confidante (jk) actually, she does not 💯% know Gaia's will but because she bears that 'special gift', it is her duty to protect the Planet at all costs.

And their parallelisms speak of themselves. So they are a POWER COUPLE.

2. CaiRai (Caius x Lightning)

Actually, I have always adored Caius since the release of FF13. The moment I saw him, I was like, "His hair is so cool! I love the feathers accent on his head!"

(Poor me, Im a big fangirl when it comes to boho style especially in men 😅). Jokes aside, here is an another 'Power couple' dynamic. Literally, 'POWER' since both of these two characters are the strongest in the whole FF13 universe. Only that, Caius is the villain while Lightning is the she-ro.

I swear, I'll never get bored watching them fight against each other (literally for eternity) especially when their chemistry is oozing with fire and ice. Fire, since Caius is one big naughty boy and Ice, since Lightning is immune to his (subtle flirts *winks*) taunts and compliments

(Sorry girl, its just that I can't believe how hard as rock it is for you to notice this man's smooth 'villain/admirer' moves) 😂😜

3. GenTifa (Genesis x Tifa)

So another "unlikely" rare pair since I think only a few people ship them. But as for me, actually it was my sister who is a die-hard fan of this ship and I was towed away with her 😅. But I did not regret it after reading some of their fanfics (which fueled the 🔥 even more).

Genesis, the eccentric, haughty, sassy, dramatic, poetic, fashionable, genius, manipulative, elegant ... (my impression of him is greatly tainted by the fanfics I've read 😆) 1st Class Soldier who is Sephiroth's colleague (and let us not forget about Angeal). So the Holy Trinity is complete! ✨

Actually, I find him amusing. Not just with his eccentric tastes but his love for poetry (despite calling it 'Loveless') 😅. I am a big softie for poetry, especially of its hidden messages and symbolisms.

I like to counter his "prim-and-proper / prudence" with Tifa Lockhart's "tough but cute" personality.

Oh-ho! She may not look like it but she's one tough cookie! 💪 Plus she's HOT! The dynamic between these two would surely make it into either a disastrous yet fun storyline or a cute romantic comedy with a dash of feistiness, of course! 😂

This reminds me of a fanfic I just recently read where Genesis is a divorce lawyer who does not believe in marriage and prefers to have the life of a bachelor with multiple dates and Tifa who is his conservative neighbor was just recently dumped by her long-term bf. Genesis lends her a hand and everything is history 🤫😉.

I swear, I was giggling the whole night reading that fic. 🤭

So I have been recently busy making some fanarts, fanvids and headcanon storylines for them .

I just finished making 2 AeriSeph fanvids (actually they are 3 - the first one was published in my YT account years ago), 3 GenTifa fanvids (OMG!! I just can't get enough of them, especially with my sister giving me more ideas to make 😅), 3 FF7 parody videos and Im currently working on my 1st CaiRai fanvideo 🤞.

AeriSeph week is fast approaching but I am still dazed with all the parody headcanons 😅. Humor does not want to leave me!

Well, in the end, I would greatly benefit from all the work I've done since I want to entertain myself with my creations 🤩. And of course, I love to share them to everyone by posting them on my social media accounts. 💌

Thank you to all those who supported my works. Im totally a newbie with digitalart and my fanvids are pretty simple and straightforward 😅 but I will never forgive myself for not putting all these overflowing ideas into reality.

In Defense of Fanfiction

Is fanfiction truly media? Fanfiction is defined as a work containing characters from, andwritten by a fan of, a show, movie, or piece of literature. Fanfiction’s history predates the mass commercialization of literature, fiction was a shared resource with authors basing new works on old ones. Today, authors may take legal action against creators of fanfiction because they are using pre existing content to produce something of their own and could profit. I think not only is fanfiction media but it is the purest form existing today, and I believe Jane Austen would enjoy fanfiction and actively encourage it. Northanger Abbey is widely considered a satirization of the gothic horror genre, the main character, Catherine, placing herself in a torrid murder plot attempting to uncover a grand conspiracy during her time with the Tilneys.Though fanfiction is the purest form of media, it is not immune from the commercialization other media is subject to. Two examples of interactions between fanfiction and media companies can be seen through the movie After and the television show Supernatural. After represents when companies work in accordance with the desires of the fans, while Supernatural represents when they work in opposition, both cases the companies making money off of the fanfiction produced. After was originally published as a piece of RPF (real person fanfiction) in 2013 on Wattpad by Anna Todd. It gained massive amounts of popularity amongst readers and in response to fan support, Paramount Pictures acquired the rights to it and produced a movie. In this case, the fans drove the company to create something based on their interests.In contrast Supernatural ignored what the fans wanted and the CW made all decisions about production, despite making money off of fanfiction written about it. Near the end of the fourth season it is revealed to the two main characters, Sam and Dean, their lives during the show have been published as novels with a cult fan following rivaling what exists in the real world. Supernatural took fans of the show, and put them in the show, creating storylines where the characters would interact with fangirls and require their help with cases, making fans feel a part of the show. The original showrunner, Eric Kripke, would even appear to pull plots from popular fanfiction and include them in the show, fans labelled something as “Kripked” when it happened. Despite the inclusion of fanfiction and pulling from it, the CW still had disdain for the fans themselves, ignoring the fans interest in the main ship from the show, destiel, and failing to bring to fruition two spin offs teased, Wayward Sisters and Bloodlines, with backdoor pilots receiving great amounts of fan support.I believe fanfiction is the purest form of media existing today because it is the most democratic and focuses exclusively on fan enjoyment. For television shows, movies, or literature to be produced, the creator must convince a company they can make money, while fanfiction is created purely for enjoyment. Even with the production of After into a movie, it only occurred because a company saw the potential to monetize something people already enjoyed. In both cases, companies were the gatekeepers of what was produced, not the fans.

yes hello I just finished watching all four seasons of the handmaid’s tale and I have THOUGHTS. Spoilers below, obvs. 

Firstly, I have to say that watching this show post-recent Texas Supreme Court rulings and post-Jan 6 insurrection has been a whirlwind. Considering that the “inciting incident” that allows for the Gilead government to take over was a massive attack on Congress. 

1. i wish that they had shown non-June related consequences. In the last season, it’s very June-driven, in terms that she’s always the one making all the choices and these choices often end up getting other people killed. I wish that they had separated that a bit. In the first season they did action-consequence thing a bit better, because they often left if ambiguous. We weren’t sure what the direct consequences were going to be, or whose fault it was. Later, it was just a ‘June makes a decision=people die’ which I thought got a bit boring as a formula. I wish that they had showed the other handmaid’s behaving less as ‘we’re going to wait for June to tell us what to do!’ and more independently. That would have made more sense, I mean why would they stay in the farmhouse and wait for June? I really thought that she was only holding out of the torture until they had enough time to leave. 

Having Moira at the exact place where June was to save her?? Cheap writing folks. Harrowing escape would have been better imo. 

2. June x Nick!!!! I really have come around on this ship because I roughly did not care at the beginning of the series but NOW I can’t get enough of them. I love the parallels between June and Luke and June and Nick in 4.9. It shows that he gets her more than Luke does, at this moment. He hasn’t lived through Gilead, he can’t imagine what she’s had to go through. 

It is interesting how the show has painted Luke, and I am excited to see where they’re going to go with this character in the next season. From the beginning showed flaws in June and Luke’s marriage and I am interested in seeing what’s going to happen with them. Unsure why that June x Luke sex scene was necessary...

3. As angry as it made me, I really did appreciate how the show treated Fred and Serena. It was a pretty accurate depiction of the international system. Of course the ICC would grant him immunity in exchange for information, they do this shit all the time. Them having fangirls in Canada, again, difficult to watch, but the close-ups of the white women?? a large chunk of Republican voters and Trump supporters?? the Amy Coney Barretts of everyday America? I M P O R T A N T point. 

4. I’m glad that they showed that some people don’t need/don’t deserve your forgiveness. Ever. No matter whether or not they ask for it. And sometimes, knowing that they don’t deserve that forgiveness and you won’t give it to them, can be liberating in itself. Forgiveness for those who hurt you is not the only way through a difficult situation. Sometimes, knowing that you’d never make those choices and confirming that those choices were bad is liberating enough.

5. where was Emily’s wife in season 4!!!!! 

6. I wish that they had titled episode 8 the handmaid’s tale, since there was the testimony, I mean what a lost opportunity. 

7. OMG AUNT LYDIA: ok so i love how they basically just made her like a female incel. she was like, one man didn’t want to sleep w me therefore i will be shaming over women for sleeping w men for the REST OF MY LIFE. I kind of wish that they would stop trying to rehabilitate her (i’ve read the Testaments, I know she’s an important part of the eventual downfall of Gilead but it’s annoying). 

Overall, very excited for the next season.

Some of these headcannons where discussed with my bud @hazbinextgeneration who also ships Jeanist x Ragdoll. I can’t remember who came up with what headcannon but know she helped come up with some of them. I’m really happy people are requesting headcannons cuz I do love to discuss them! I just get a little shy sometimes

WARNING: Slight spoilers to MHA in this post

-It was actually my friend who got me into this ship so credit to them for showing me it! We where discussing how the two would eventually meet since Ragdoll and Jeanist hadn’t interacted in the series at all. Again no clue who suggested this but we thought Ragdoll could become friends with Jeanist after the Kamino incident with All for One. After Kamino Jeanist lost his lung, which obviously is going to affect his stamina in his hero career. He lost his lung after he was able to pull all the other heroes out of the way of the blast set off by All for One - including Tiger and Ragdoll. Ragdoll is a little shy first meeting Jeanist, she was still sad about the loss of her quirk and that put a damper on her usually happy go lucky attitude. Jeanist is surprised at her visit but not disappointed by it, it was nice to have some company. Ragdoll thanks Jeanist for pulling Tiger and herself from the blast, to which Jeanist simply replies he was just doing his duty as a hero and there was no need for thanks. Despite that Ragdoll still felt as if she had to prove her thanks, since Jeanist has suffered the lost of his lung because of it. 

She makes her visits to the hospital daily, and Jeanist always appreciates the company of someone to talk to, it can get a little boring when you’re stuck in a recovery bed all day. Ragdoll talks about the most random things, theres no rhythm or pattern to her conversations: one minute she’s talking about the weather, the next she’s telling Jeanist all about this new cupcake she brought from the bakery. Jeanist more or less does the listening while Ragdoll does most of the talking but he prefers listening to her talk over the silence. Once Jeanist is allowed to leave the hospital Ragdoll is already waiting for him outside, which surprised him, he hadn’t expected her to come see him. Ragdoll had in fact asked one of the nurses monitoring Jeanist’s when he was going to be allowed to recover from his home, she thought it’d be nice for the two to have one last conversation while he walked home. 

When Jeanist finally reaches his front door he thanks Ragdoll for keeping him company during his time in the hospital, and the two exchange numbers - Ragdoll doing so because she wanted to make sure Jeanist knew if he ever wanted to talk to someone she was there. Jeanist thanked her and told her he’d keep the offer in mind, but he didn’t think he’d actually ever need to call her for that

-Jeanist was wrong. Missing one lung all of a sudden would be hard on anyone, and Jeanist was not immune to the struggles that came with recovery. Adjusting was harder then he thought - little things that he didn’t even notice before all of a sudden began to bother him, he became snappy and stressed, the growing curiosity from the media and public all wondering when Jeanist would make his grand return just adding more weight on his shoulders. When he finally snaps he just lays down on his sofa and cries, until he feels exhausted and empty afterwards. He didn’t even remember calling Ragdoll to come over, but when she rushes in he doesn’t refuse the hug, he doesn’t stop the tears building up in his eyes again, he doesn’t try to muffle his sobs - he just breaksdown. The next morning Jeanist wakes up late, a rarity. He wakes up sprawled under his bed sheets with hair messy and still in his clothes from yesterday. When he manages to roll out of bed he walks into his kitchen to see something unexpected: Ragdoll as humming away cooking breakfast. Ragdoll, as if cooking breakfast in his home was totally normal, rushes him off to the bathroom so he can clean up, all the while Jeanist is still confused. After he’s cleaned up and his hair is combed he returns back into the kitchen to find what had to be the most obnoxiously cute breakfast he’d seen. The food had all been arranged to make smiley and kitty faces, and there was just so much! Jeanist assures Ragdoll that she didn’t have to make him breakfast, but Ragdoll just bats her hand with a smile and tells him to eat, nothing like a good breakfast to start the day of right! (Jeanist wouldn’t lie the food was delicious) While he eats himself and Ragdoll fill the silence with conversation. Jeanist asks Ragdoll what she was doing in his home so early, and Ragdoll replies sheepishly that after his breakdown yesterday, she slept on his sofa for the night, just in case he needed someone to pick him back up if he began to cry again. Jeanist is left speechless for two minutes, and it actually took Ragdoll lightly poking him for him to blink and come back to reality. He thanks Ragdoll again for her kindness and allowing him to let out his sadness without her judging or probing him for answers, and then pulls her into another hug

-Jeanist and Ragdoll become genuine friends outside of hero work and are each others supportive figure during their recovery. Jeanist is there to listen and comfort Ragdoll when she hits a bump in the road, and the sadness from the loss of her quirk returns - and vise versa with Ragdoll, who is there for Jeanist to lean on and sit with for company when he gets overwhelmed again. Ragdoll temporarily moves into the city to be closer to Jeanist, staying at a hotel with Tiger who was also taking some time off to recover from the Kamino incident. Due to Jeanist being temporarily out of action with his injury the two can’t really go out places, but Ragdoll, being physically fine despite loosing her quirk, tries her best to bring something new to talk with with Jeanist when she goes to visit. Sometimes it would be the latest fashion magazine, and she’d have to stiffen her snickering while Jeanist critiqued the outfits. Other days she’d bring some nice food over and the two would have lunch, other times she’d bring round a movie or a book she thought Jeanist might like. One day after the two have been friends for little over half a year and Ragdoll has come over to visit Jeanist enters the lounge with two hot drinks, one for himself and Ragdoll, and Ragdoll replies with a merry ‘Thanks Jeany!’ - Jeanist paused for a moment, processing the nickname. He’d never really been fond of using nicknames, he thought it wasn’t very professional for a grown man like himself to give others nicknames. Ragdoll catches the confused yet thoughtful look in his eye that isn’t covered by his fringe and asks if she overstepped things, Jeanist takes another moment to think..before shaking his head, saying it’s fine, for some reason Jeanist doesn’t seem to mind nicknames when it’s Ragdoll who’s using them.

-Lets all admit it Jeanist has fangirls, come on, with his looks he’s gotta have a couple douzand at least. With hero work, personal life and media Jeanist has never really had time to persue a propper relationship. He’s had relationships in the past during his early hero days, but with hero work and his gradual rising to the top ten his relationships often ended, which he understood - but he still felt a little bit lonely. Jeanist never even considered Ragdoll as a lover until he heard her laugh. Ragdoll had decided the two should try baking, it was something new to try and it would keep them entertained! Jeanist had done baking before so agreed without much persuasion. They ended up making a cake, which Jeanist didn’t do very often on the count he wasn’t the biggest fan of sweets, but he had Ragdoll as a baking assistant so eventually, they’d end up baking a cake. Ragdoll on the whole, despite being a hero, could be pretty oblivious as Jeanist learnt: as when it came to mixing in the flour with the mixer Jeanist stopped her, he went on a bit of a rant saying how her hair could get caught and then tangle up in the machine, all the while Ragdoll is trying to tell him not to turn on the mixer but..she was too late. Jeanist turned around, switched on the mixer, and the flour went right in his face. Ragdoll had been trying to turn down the mixing speed so the flour wouldn’t go anywhere. Jeanist, face, jumper, and apron covered in flour he blinks..and then lets out a single sneeze, before Ragdoll absolutely looses it.

Jeanist tries to be angry with her, saying that it wasn’t funny, but Ragdoll just couldn’t take him seriously in that moment. Jeanist rolls his eyes, accepting defeat as he reaches for a tea towel to wipe his face - and then Ragdoll giggle snorts. It’s the most dorkiest dorky sound he’s ever heard

Basically Jeanist had an ‘omg I’m in love’ moment while covered in flour standing blankly in the middle of his messy kitchen

-Their relationship became offical after everyone thought Hawks killed Jeanist and he returned. Jeanist is not prepared when a sobbing Ragdoll launches herself at him, actually knocking them both over. Ragdoll is gross sobbing into his chest telling him to never EVER scare her like that again you big idiot! Jeanist, exhausted from battle, can only sigh and weakly hug her back while softly apologizing. Once again Ragdoll is at his side during his recovery after the battle, noticeably more clingy and fretting. It took much reassurance from Jeanist but Ragdoll began to chill out a bit. Jeanist was the one who confessed first the day after he was let out from hospital, and Ragdoll once again, throws herself at him in a hug. They end up in a pile on his floor laughing, and then Ragdoll is the one who makes the first move and gives his cheek (whatever cheek is visible behind his high collar jumper) a kiss. It wasn’t Jeanist’s most graceful moment - laying there on his floor red faced and wide eyed, totally shocked at the fact Ragdoll just KISSED him as his brain rebooted. The damned little giggles and snickers cause the red in his face to deepen before he returns the kiss.

The two move in together in the city though Ragdoll still keeps in contact with Mandalay, Pixie and Tiger. Tiger and Mandalay are happy that Ragdoll found herself someone while Pixiebob took a little longer to come around. Jeanist and Ragdoll did their best to keep their relationship out of the public eye as much as possible, however when kids came around that became almost impossible. Ragdoll and Jeanist have three kids: Ito (my OC), Koneko (my OC) and a daughter named Shiruku (my pals OC). Shiruku and Koneko both go to UA while Ito is a model/undercover hero. Regardless that the media know of his relationship with Ragdoll Jeanist still does his best to keep his love life private, mostly for safety reasons as he doesn’t want any villain going after Ragdoll to get to him. To help with this Ragdoll took some self defence classes and still continues to do so to make sure she stays in shape. Ragdoll is much stronger then she looks even without her quirk.

-Their wedding was traditional yet fancy, Jeanist wanted the wedding to be special so pulled out all the stops to make sure it was memorable. Ragdoll, to no surprised, wanted to have some cat kind of theme to the wedding for kicks and giggles, Jeanist wasn’t sure of this idea at first but the two compromised and got a cat themed wedding cake. Jeanist agrees it was a good idea in the end just to see the child like joy in Ragdoll’s eyes when he and her cut the cake. Tiger, despite looking intimidating, was so so supportive and totally cried at the wedding. Him and Ragdoll have a sibling like bond, and Jeanist was very relieved to know Tiger supported their relationship. Mandalay, being the mum friend of the group, also cried at the wedding and like Tiger was very supportive and congratulating of Ragdoll and Jeanist. Pixie was..eh, fifty fifty. I headcannon Pixiebob as the protective sibling like friend, when she first found out Ragdoll and Jeanist where dating she straight up asked ‘What are your intentions with my team mate you denim wearing dunce?’ - to which Mandalay then forced Pixie to apologize. By the time the wedding came around Pixie was genuinely happy for Ragdoll but a small part of her was still unsure. She’s happy for Jeanist and Ragdoll now days, but has promised that if Jeanist breaks lil old Ragdoll’s heart she’ll break him like a twig - to which again Mandalay made her apologize and told Jeanist she was joking (she wasn’t)

-Not really a ship related one but I’ll put it here anyway. In my NGAU I headcannon Gang Orca and Jeanist as best friends. They went to school together and their friendship just stuck. Orca despite not having many relationships even in his highschool years very quickly picked up on Jeanist’s attraction towards Ragdoll before he did, but he never commented on it until the day Jeanist called him to admit he might have like Ragdoll romantically - to which Orca replied he had known for a long time. Their conversation went like this basically

Jeanist: Kugo, I..I think I may be attracted to Ragdoll

Gang Orca: I know Jeanist

Jeanist: What do you think I-...Wait, what do you mean you know?!

Gang Orca: I’m not blind 

-Again not exactly ship related but whatever I’m putting it here too. Jeanist was on board with having kids, having a little family, call it a domestic daydream. Jeanist assumed any child of his would have his impeccable taste in fashion and glorious silky hair. He was only half right.

Ito (my OC), Jeanist’s and Ragdoll’s first born son does have the natural Hakamada silky hair and good looks..but he’s a total slob outside of modelling. When Ito comes to visit since he no longer lives at home he dresses like a teenager. He walks about the home in just sweat pants sometimes, his hair not brushed and not washed. Ragdoll is all chill with this because she likes to baby her kids, and despite looking like a slob Ito does still clean up any mess he makes in his parents home. Jeanist has had to more then once restrain Ito so he can comb that messy hair of his, and Ito gave up years ago trying to escape. He’ll enter the lounge wearing baggy pj’s, sit down and have a coffee, and then greet his dad who’s already scowling at his messy hair while he drags a comb through it. Ito sometimes pokes fun at his old man but Jeanist does not stand for such behavior in his house, and Ito quickly learns that when Jeanist threatens to give him a hair cut.

Their second son Koneko (my OC) is much more like Ragdoll and, to Jeanist’s relief, doesn’t wear dirty sweatpants around the home. He too also has the natural silky Hakamada hair, but Koneko’s hair is always tricky to style. Everytime Jeanist combs it all neat and tidy, it poofs back into it’s natural curly messy state. It drives Jeanist crazy- 

-I remember seeing a post about this ages ago, I’ll see if I can find the post, but Bakugo was Koneko’s sort of babysitter when he was little. Bakugo now that he’s older begrudgingly admits that yeah, maybe as a kid he diiiid have some temper issues, and that maybe - just maybe - Jeanist was a good mentor after all. Bakugo didn’t know how he ended up roped into babysitting, but he was. The day he actually began to enjoy babysitting was the day he taught Jeanist’s kid to say die, it amused him for weeks, Jeanist not so much. Koneko ends up idolizing Bakugo, and Bakugo still being a smug b*stard totally rubs it in Jeanist’s face that his kid idolizes him. Jeanist doesn’t mind his son being a fan of Bakugo but he’s got a sharp eye on them

Reacting To: Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (Season 3 Episode 2)

Episode Title: Code Word Milkshake

Spoiler Warning: Kindly proceed if you’ve already seen the episode or are able to handle spoilers 

1. OMG! A K-pop song? That’s so cool! It sounds like BTS lol. And the song is pretty catchy too 🎵; “Dive into my ocean of love”. It’s such a bop! We see the mutes (even the Mod Frogs) fangirling HARD. But what animals are these guys supposed to be? Are they dolphins? But why do they have horns? And apparently abs as well: 

2. Aww but the leader of the group, Hyun Soo (as revealed in the subtitles) soon gets paralyzed by a dart and is kidnapped after signing fan autographs. And of course, it’s the doing of Dr. Emilia as she’s seen testing a serum sample on Hyun Soo. Again, I’m impressed with her ability to be so stealthy. However, she’s finding it difficult in getting the right formula for the genetic serum since none of the samples she’s used so far has worked on the kidnapped mutes. BTW, Jamack talking to Hyun Soo is hilarious. 

3. In Timbercat Village, Kipo is planning with HMUFA a mission to find Emilia, rescue their friends and retrieve Song’s research journal. Oh, did Asher get a haircut? If so, they look really nice.

4. Our boy, Benson wants Troy to come along because he feels safer when he’s around. How precious! I’m  happy he gets to go on a mission with Kipo for the first time too. It’s nice to mix groups up sometimes. And it looks like it’s just gonna be a human/hybrid-only mission because the mutes won’t be able to handle Emilia’s sonic emitter. Dave is upset that he won’t be able to tag along with them. I think it’s a good thing to sit this one out because he does have a tendency to die during their missions lol.

5. They manage to hitch a ride on a couple of dragonfly mutes due to Kipo coming up with the codeword, “Milkshake” to keep situations calm.  Random but okay. As they’re flying over the sea, they spot a ship, which definitely belongs to Emilia since we hear Zane asking Greta to turn on the sonic emitter as some mysterious sea creature was circling around them. Because the dragonflies are not immune to the sound, this causes them all to fall into the water

6. The group tries to climb over the ship to get a peek of the situation aboard and they can see the burrow humans enjoying their time there, splish-splashing in a giant pool paired with a crazy slide and everything. 

7. Dave lets Lio and Roberto know that he wants to have a boys night out (BNO) with them. But it’s clear that he’s doing this because he still feels salty about not being included in the stealth mission. Roberto looks like he doesn’t want to go out but Lio is down to hangout with Dave-o lol. 

8. Back on the Dr. Emilia’s ship, Kipo and gang try to find her lab but they almost got spotted by a blonde human girl, who apparently is able to hear Hyun Soo  sing through the cafeteria vents and thus, wants him to sing for her. Kipo and Troy actually recognize her from their old burrow. She’s actually Hoag’s daugther, Doag! I can’t believe he named his daughter that lol. Anyways, they were all actually friendly with one another, so we shall see if she’s willing to help them or not. Doag really likes dancing and we see her dancing around to Hyun Soo’s singing. She then does a split and spots them. Well, she doesn’t look alarmed actually. 

9. Meanwhile, Dave and Lio are playing cards but afterward, they went to check out the so-called “community bonding” session between Timbercats and the Umlaut snakes. At first, it seems like they are having a huge argument but they’re actually just writing a song and having a couple of debates. It’s song-break time. This time, the song is called ‘Friendship Alliance’. How fitting. After the performance, Lio says he wants to go to bed but Dave isn’t done yet and wants him to check out his secret stash of explosion berry cola.

10. Doag explains to the group that Dr. Emilia has been treating them nicely so far but they want her to know the truth about Emilia who has been trying to kill Kipo since she was a baby. Plus, according to Troy (and Benson from earlier on), she didn’t eat his Benson’s pancakes. Troy is way more upset about the part about the pancakes, which of course he has to be since it’s his boo’s pancakes. But my goodness, Doag’s voice is like nails on the chalkboard. Don’t you agree? 

11. I think it’s hard for them to convince her that Dr. Emilia is a bad person, especially since they don’t have any real evidence to show. Emilia is like a savior to these humans. Fortunately, Doag wants to help them rescue Boom-Boom, Jamack, Camille and Hyun Soo regardless. 

12. She takes them to Dr. Emilia’s lab, which isn’t very hidden like they said lol. The door’s locked but Troy, the skilled magician was able to pick the lock no problem. Benson is impressed and he actually addressed him as his boyfriend! Cute!

13. They enter the lab and we see all the kidnapped mutes trapped in their individual mute-proof cells. Aww the way Jamack called Kipo, Burrow Girl was so sweet. He has come a really long way with her since Season 1 huh? I don’t know what’s up with Boom-Boom but she(?) doesn’t look too good, almost unhinged. So, Hyun Soo is known as a Dolphicon! I guess that’s short for Dolphin and Unicorn. That’s explains the horn. I actually like the name “Wall Siren” for him as well. Despite only speaking in Korean, Hyun Soo does seem to understand English when Doag asks him “who are you?”. I feel like the introduction of Hyun Soo is like paying homage to Kipo’s animation studio, Studio Mir, which is in fact South Korean. 

14. Kipo proceeds to then break them out of their cells. Doag declares she’s going to help them escape. I actually hope there’s a chance that she would be part of Kipo’s group officially. She seems cool, mostly lol. Wolf also finds Song’s research journal but before they could make their escape, the traumatized Boom-Boom looks at the needles Dr. Emilia has been using on her, freaks out and drops her nectar bombs on them, which causes the whole lab to explode.  Boom-Boom needs therapy for sure. Ughh…Wolf also accidentally drops the journal and leaves it behind the lab. That book is probably destroyed. 

15. Back at Timbercat village, I assume Lio had already drank the cola before he is super hyped. Yumyan also joins in on their shenanigans and he gives them the idea to steal Molly’s axe and put it in an axe bush (is that what Yumyan said?). Also, is this supposed to be a pun or something?

16. Doag puts Hyun Soo in their getaway boat but it’s weird since he’s a dolphin and can just swim in the water instead lol. They’re supposed to leave now but Kipo wants to face Emilia now. I say she’s making a bad decision here. Dr. Emilia then arrive with Greta and Zane but Wolf takes out the latter two easily. The rest of the humans come out to the deck to see what the ruckus is all about and Emilia tries to play coy and innocent with them. 

17. Hoag notices that his daughter isn’t around. Our heroes try to explain to the humans that Dr. Emilia is the bad guy; They told about how Song is the Mega Monkey and how she got her to attack and destroy their home back in Season 1. And they explain that she mind-controlled Song to kill her own daughter. 

Even grandma can deliver a beatdown on someone lol

18.The humans are reluctant to believe them because it does sound very farfetched. But c’mon…they should know by know that Las Vistas is a messed up place; Anything can happen. Also, don’t they remember the Mega Monkey saving them from getting gilded in Season 2. Suddenly, Hoag makes an attempt to paralyze Kipo with one of the darts but she quickly reacts and knocks him out. The humans see this and they get mad at her. Eventually, Kipo and the others make their escape. Finally. 

19. Back to Lio and Dave. We find out towards the end that Molly actually killed Dave 5 times for the stunt he pulled on her lol. Anyways, the both of them are glad to have this bonding session with one another since Kipo isn’t around. 

20. Our heroes reach land but Doag wants to go back because she knows her dad is worried sick about her. And so, Hyun Soo and I guess the rest of his groupmates are bringing her back there. Aww, she should’ve stayed but I understand why she wants to go back to the ship. But to be honest, somebody should’ve thought to give her a communicator or a walkie-talkie or something because at least they can know what Dr. Emilia’s next move is. Perhaps they don’t really have to think too much into it since the journals has been decimated and all…or is it?

21. Wolf, I hope you’re happy you dropped the journal lol. Dr. Emilia figures out that Kipo is X. Wait, I’m trying to remember if there any mention of X in the previous episodes. Anyways, I wonder what she’s going to do with the fur Kipo left during their last confrontation. I guess since Kipo is a human who also has the DNA of apex predators, Emilia is going to play with her recombinant DNA and figure out a way to reverse the effects of the mute DNA so that only the normal DNA will be present? I dunno….

22. Last note/tiny bit of criticism: Is it just me or do you guys sometimes think that some of the character designs look a little wonky in this episode? Sometimes, I felt like Kipo, Benson and even Troy look a little off in some frames. Anyways, that’s the end of my review of episode 2. Stay tuned tomorrow for my review of episode 3. I am on book 5 of Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series aka my crack, and I have to say this is probably a first time in my reading where I genuinely can’t decide whether our heroine or her love interest have more insane and abusive monster parents/childhoods. Like - this is genuinely tough. If this was real world and not post-apocalyptic dystopia, I’d recommend eternal therapy for both.

OK, so what are these about?

So glad you asked...

Shatter Me is a six book series (or actually two trilogies), the last book of which is being published March 31.

Set in a barren, impoverished, brutal world run by a coalition of military dictators called The Reestablishment, our protagonist is Juliette. In her late teens when the first book opens, Juliette has been locked up in an insane asylum and is borderline mad. She also has a terrifying power - anyone she touches suffers unimaginable pain and death.

There may be a light in her dark tunnel, however - she gets a new cellmate, Adam, who might be a former classmate and who is also somehow immune to her power. Juliette feels love and hope for the first time...

And this is where is gets (to me) good because UMMM SURPRISE PEOPLE, ADAM IS NOT HER ENDGAME OTP!!!

Sure, I can talk about how much I love the intense writing style (people really love it or hate it and I am in the former camp with a vengeance) or the plot twists or various messages or whatever.

But we all know I would be lying because the reason I am obsessed with this baby is Juliette x Warner aka epic trainwreck aka one of my all time YA OTPs aka Sarah J Maas only wishes she could switch OTPs out this well.

So, Warner.

Warning - spoiler for all five books out...

Warner is a military officer, son of the sadistic, abusive commander of the sector, Juliette’s latest minder at the start of Book 1, and so fucked up he deserves his own DSM-V volume. Warner has been torturing and killing people on behalf of the Reestablishment and by that I mean his severely abusive, gaslighting father. He yearns to be touched and tortured by Juliette. She shoots him after he confesses he loves her and this makes him love her harder. His dad was a crazy abuser but he can’t kill him so Juliette does it for him. He is immune to Juliette’s touch as well apparently (yes, there is a logical explanation) and oh yes, apparently they were childhood OTP (yes, so kdrama!) and the Reestablishment who wanted Juliette for experiments on her power had to keep wiping both of their minds over and over to keep them from remembering each other. Neither one has any idea of how families work or relationships work or normal works or how to be functional human beings. When they inevitably eventually hook up (still without remembering their past connection), it is so intense and delicious and amazing. It is a rare situation where I genuinely believe that if he didn’t have her, he’d kill himself as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

I am normally not a big fan of OTP switches or bad guy redemption into love interest but somehow this series manages this perfectly. Unlike with Sarah J Maas’ notorious tendency (I am glad Rowan was endgame in ToG series but he was the third OTP dude and don’t get me started on her Feyre trilogy otp switch), this feels organic and it makes sense. I have nothing against Adam, who I like just fine, but I spent the early books begging the author in my head to make my impossible OTP canon and by the time she did, I was a grateful, slavering fangirl. (You know I almost never uncanon ship so this should have been a hint to me.)

So anyway, hello obsession city.

Is it a good series objectively? I have no idea and I don’t care. All I know is it gives me everything I love.

Jam City can’t play with your emotions if you never had any emotions to begin with 😎 No, but in all honesty, I never really had much high hopes for Parkwood anyways. When I saw just how excited she got over Skye, I was like “Oh look, yet another character for the fandom to ship Penny with 🙄” because she’s shipped with just about EVERYONE, let’s be honest. And her fangirling wasn’t that new, so the ship never really excited me. I think Skye’s amongst the few who haven’t been charmed by her tbh

Oh that’s interesting, I never saw Penny get shipped with too many characters, apart from MC and Liz. The only thing the fandom seemed to agree upon (and still does) is that Penny is 99% gay, the only other 1% being allowance for male MCs. 🤣

That’s a good point, it’s kind of amazing almost - that Skye seems to be utterly immune to how likable Penny is. It would be one thing if they got along fine, but Skye didn’t seem to care about Penny beyond a superficial classmate level. (That was kinda how I felt about her myself up until year three)  But she doesn’t seem to notice or like her at all, it’s more of a “What? Oh yeah, you.” Like I understand if she’s used to having fans, but it’s weird that Skye so utterly dismissed Penny at the Pre-Match party when most people were actually paying attention to MC. I would have thought Skye would be glad to have a fan-girl at that point.

I get that anonymously ranting in someone’s inbox is very freeing, because if we’re being honest; expressing negative opinions towards the wtfock fandom, or wtfock in general, will most of the time lead to wtfock stans -that don’t know the difference between criticism and pointless hate- sending rude anon messages lmao. It’s really fucking sad tho that not only skam fandom space, but fandom space in general has become so toxic and harmful for mlm, just because women, both cishet and lgbt, refuse to acknowledge that the way they treat fictional mlm is fetishisation. This doesn’t even only apply to fictional mlm, but -because fiction has an impact on real life- this sort of behaviour probably also shines through in the way they treat real life mlm. And I totally agree that bisexual women play a part in this, because I’ve personally seen bi women use their lgbt status as shield when they’re criticised on the way their treatment mlm. Being part of the lgbt community does in no way mean that you’re somehow immune to harming other members of our community and it does in absolutely no way mean that you’re immune to being accused of fetishising mlm. hello I just beat Luigi’s Mansion 3 and I have headcanons for all of the new boss ghosts

Steward:

He’s originally from New Donk City.

He used to be a taxi cab driver, and he died when he was driving home one night by himself and his headlights failed and he crashed into a tree.

He was one of Hellen Gravely’s very first employees, along with Chambrea!

He’s really nervous and kind of awkward when not on the job, but he works very hard.

He and Chambrea are really good friends and get coffee together after work.

Chambrea:

She’s a New Donker too, and used to work as a maid in a fancy hotel prior to, well, getting a job as a maid at a different fancy hotel after dying.

She died by slipping and falling down the stairs.

She is a really sweet and enthusiastic person when not under King Boo’s control, and really loves her job!

She’s a HUGE gossip, and loves to hear and tell everyone about the drama going on with employees and guests.

She and Steward knew each other back when they were alive.

Kruller:

He used to work in the Coconut Mall. Yes, that one, from Mario Kart. He was a mall cop.

He died during a robbery. He wasn’t attacked by the robber, he was chasing after the robber and knocked over a shelf and it fell on him.

He’s a HUGE fan of Morty’s movies. He can quote everything.

He likes to hang out in the cafe area at the shops with his Goob buddies.

Death hasn’t really changed him -- he was a cowardly goofball back when he was alive, too.

Chef Soulffle:

He was actually a TERRIBLE chef back when he was alive. He only learned how to cook after he became a ghost.

He died because he accidentally burned down his kitchen at home.

He used to be called Chef Souffle, but started calling himself Chef Soulffle after his death to be more “ghosty”.

He HATES mushrooms.

He doesn’t have a lot of friends, but he has a weird friendship with Clem, because he thinks Clem is the only other employee who truly appreciates his cooking.

Amadeus Wolfgeist:

He speaks with an exaggerated German accent.

He died of a heart attack.

Outside of King Boo’s influence, he’s actually rather pleasant to be around! But he’s also very intense and takes everything super seriously.

He’s not a full-time employee of the Last Resort, he’s just a famous ghost musician and composer who gets hired to perform there a lot.

He loves the artwork of Vincent Van Gore from the first Luigi’s Mansion game, and in turn, Vincent Van Gore is a big fan of his music! But they’ve never actually met in person.

King MacFrights:

He is not and was never a king. He’s just an old ghost warrior who got a job as a hotel mascot.

But he doesn’t really understand modern life, so he thinks he’s a king now.

He died in battle. Probably in a battle fought over something really stupid.

He sounds very, very Scottish, and when he’s angry, nobody else at the Last Resort can understand what in the world he’s saying.

The castle movie in Paranormal Productions is based on the battle where he died! But it’s extremely historically inaccurate, because the only source Morty has is King MacFrights himself, and MacFrights loves to make stuff up.

Dr. Potter:

He names all of his plants. Most of them have very silly names, like “Chompy” or “Pokey Pete”. Some of them have names that reference other Mario characters instead, like “Vivian”.

He died of old age.

Even outside of King Boo’s influence, he’s kind of a jerk, and likes to mess with people and make fun of them.

He gets along really well with little kids, though.

Morty:

He’s from Diamond City, home of Wario!

He died when he was filming a movie on a skyscraper in the rain and he fell off the roof.

He’s just so wrapped up in his own little world of film direction that he has absolutely no idea what’s going on in the rest of the hotel and is totally immune to King Boo’s influence over ghosts.

He and Amadeus Wolfgeist are really good friends.

He makes all the commercials for the Last Resort.

Ug:

He’s not an employee. He’s not even a paying guest. He’s just here because Hellen Gravely bought the dinosaur skeleton he was haunting.

He is really, really dumb. Not in a “cavemen are stereotypically dumb” way, just that Ug, specifically, is a really dumb caveman.

He died because he tried to fight a T. Rex by himself and it ate him. That’s the one whose skeleton he’s haunting.

He’s originally from the Cascade Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey.

He literally cannot tell the difference between Luigi and Gooigi. That’s why he keeps trying to eat Gooigi with the T. Rex skeleton in his boss battle.

Clem:

Even outside of King Boo’s Influence, Clem is really obnoxious and kind of mean. He’s just a total hick and doesn’t really know how to act in a place like the Last Resort.

The reason he’s such an asshole (normally) is because he’s really insecure about his intelligence. Clem is very smart, but he knows people probably think he’s stupid because he’s such a lazy hillbilly.

He died in a work accident, where he was electrocuted.

He loves to eat fancy food like what Chef Soulffle cooks, but he’s too lazy to go up and get some most of the time, so he mostly just eats junk food.

ALL of the rubber ducks in the hotel are his. He thinks it’s funny to leave them in weird places.

Serpci:

She’s not an employee, she’s a VIP guest!

She was a princess in the ancient Birabuto/Pyrapt Kingdom of what is now Sarasaland.

She died from being bitten by a venomous snake.

She likes to occasionally check up on modern Sarasaland, so she knows about Princess Daisy! But they’ve never met, and she has no idea about Daisy’s involvement with Luigi.

She actually has a rather silly personality. She loves practical jokes, weird puzzles, and trolling people in general. Her hotel room is right on top of what is almost certainly an escape room for ghosts, after all.

Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny:

Nikki is the ponytail one, Lindsey is the short pigtails one, and Ginny is the long pigtails one.

They died during a magic show, when they set up some special effects wrong and accidentally set off an explosion. They still finished the show -- as ghosts.

They love to play video games!

Like Amadeus Wolfgeist, they’re not full-time employees. Rather, they’re celebrity magicians, and the Last Resort hires them for magic show gigs.

They think Serpci is just THE COOLEST, and in turn, Serpci loves their magic shows and trickster style!

Captain Fishook:

He’s a VIP guest too, like Serpci.

That’s not, specifically, his pirate ship that he possesses during his boss battle -- it’s a pirate ship, but it’s technically just a special VIP seating area for the Spectral Catch seafood restaurant that has been styled as a pirate ship.

He died while fighting a rival pirate crew over some treasure, and one of them fired a harpoon into his eye.

He thinks King MacFrights is absolutely hilarious.

The Oozers from his boss battle are actually from his old pirate crew!

Johnny Deepend:

He’s not an employee, he’s a guest. But he’s not a special VIP guest. He’s just a normal guest who happens to be a really strong ghost.

His death was really stupid. He didn’t even drown. He wanted to swim some laps for his fitness routine, but the indoor pool near his house was closed for repairs. So he broke into the indoor pool in the middle of the night, but all the lights were off, and he accidentally did a big dive into the shallow end and hit his head and died.

He likes to go to the Museum of Unnatural History, because he thinks dinosaurs are WAY COOL.

Because of this, he’s friends with Ug. Neither one has any idea what the other is actually saying, though.

He didn’t actually figure out that Gooigi is weak to water until he squirted him. He just does that at everyone.

DJ Phantasmagloria:

She died during a wild outdoor concert. She set her speakers so loud that it caused the roof over the stage to collapse on her when she turned them up to full blast.

Her real name is just Gloria, Phantasmagloria is her stage name.

She likes Amadeus Wolfgeist’s music, but he doesn’t like her music.

In addition to being a mega-popular DJ, she’s also known among ghosts for being a really talented freestyle rapper!

She’s from Diamond City, like Morty, but she didn’t meet Morty until after they both became ghosts and got jobs at the Last Resort.

Hellen Gravely:

She’s also a New Donker! But she (and her original employees, Steward and Chambrea) never met Mario or Luigi while she was alive, because she died before they were even born.

She died of illness when she was old, which is why her true appearance looks the way it does.

Polterkitty is actually way older than she is, though.

She’s not exactly in love with King Boo. It’s more like that Hark! A Vagrant comic with Jules Verne and Edgar Allan Poe, with Hellen just being an obsessive loony fangirl.

She built the Last Resort on the site of an old mansion. It’s a Luigi’s Mansion game, after all, the mansion just isn’t actually there anymore.

Like, do you people even read what you are posting before putting it out there to make yourself look like a complete idiot? If a certain post is admiring one wife for being private and classy in contrast to the other wife who overshares and overexposes her relationship to a fanbase that’s known to be creepy and invasive, how the fuck does that equal to that poster wanting a fucking fake ass gay ship to become real? Like, wouldn’t you be hating on both wives in that case? When you guys come to these conclusions, are your brains on a vacation or what?

There is a clear difference between creepy fangirls who hate on someone’s significant other cuz they are jealous and people who probably don’t like someone for being too open and reckless then playing victim card when fans become invasive. Also when you are a fan of someone, its not compulsory to bury yourself so far up in their asses that you cannot comprehend the concept of these wrestlers/performers/celebs being humans - who are immune to mistakes and stuff just like us and are also gonna get called out when they do something stupid.

Another important thing, stop reducing a woman to just being someone’s wife. She’s her own person, has her own traits, has her own outlets. Stop bringing everything down to ‘oh people must be jealous of her cuz she is married to him or stuff’. Like that’s her only accomplishment, her only acknowledgment. You are doing nothing but demeaning her by reducing her importance by connecting her to a man.

I want to avoid talking about Renee cuz I got followers/mutuals who like her and I respect that. But I want to set some things straight cuz I’m sick of these trolls and idiots twisting my words and bullying me for having an opinion.

I liked Renee way before I started liking Dean, and I adored them as a couple. But that was when their relationship was private and sacred. Since I was Renee’s fan, I followed her everywhere. On twitter, her work, her blog, her podcast, her interviews. For me she is her own person, has her own career and social presence. I don’t need to judge her based on whom she’s married to, cuz she had potential to be more than just someone’s wife. We are different people, with different minds. We grow to dislike things we once liked, we grow to like things we once disliked. Things I heard or observed impacted me in a certain way, they might impact you a different way. Renee is a very open person, who overshares aspect of her personal life and that’s just how I feel. I feel like her oversharing has enabled creepy fans into being invasive, and then Renee plays victim when out of 100 ass kissers she gets one mean creepy bitch hating on her. Sometimes when its someone genuinely criticizing her professional work which is gonna get judged based on her performance, she manipulates people into thinking she’s being hated for being Dean’s wife. I just find that behavior shady. Its just based on how she acts on twitter and her podcast. Not even a single observation of mine is based on something that didn’t come straight from her own mouth.

Jon chose Renee to be his person. For me nothing matters more than his happiness. I just don’t like certain aspects of Renee, but I still hope my observations are wrong and she’s the best to Jon. Cuz he deserves love and respect. I hope one day I grow to love her again, but if someone’s gonna bully me into ignoring what I see and hear and kiss her ass just cuz she’s married to Jon, I’m not gonna do that. Like I said, she’s her own person and I’ll judge her on her own doings. I’m one of those who’ll call Jon out if he does something stupid too.

I adore Galina cuz she has kept her shit private, and it reflects nicely on Roman. I am so happy Seth has found a woman like Becky who is an equal to him and for once he genuinely looks like he’s in love. I don’t get good vibes from Renee but maybe I’m wrong. No one has a right to make me feel bad for having a simple observation. Its how I feel, and its my opinion based on things I have seen or heard straight from her mouth. 

Also, these celeb relationships are just like any relationships in real life, immune to break up, divorces, messy shit so stop putting them on pedestal. Stop bullying others just cuz you are out of check with how real life works.

So, honestly, FUCK YOU. Fuck each one of you fucking idiot who think it makes you a superior fan of someone when you call every person a jealous fangirl even when its far from the truth. Creepy girls who obsess over these guys and throw bitchfits over whom they choose to date/marry, they are a different breed and I hate them as much as any of you do.
