it's unbearably hot today – though that's commonplace for Louisiana. the air is sticky and damp, foreshadowing an incoming storm. you're not entirely sure when the storm will roll by, but you're thinking it won't be today. the sun shines brightly, hot as a flame. your clothes feel as though they're glued to you from how much you're sweating. from the spot where your perched, on the rickety old house's porch steps, you can see the dancing forms of heat waves. it warps your view of the rest of the town.

you let yourself fall back, splaying yourself across the porch. you close your eyes, lifting a hand to wipe some sweat from your forehead. it does little to help. you wish the storm would hurry and come, help lessen the heat. you can see it now – dancing in the cool rain. a blessing.

in the distance, you can hear the loud and familiar rumbling of Bo's shitty truck. there's a pop occasionally, the sound of the engine becoming louder, signaling that he was nearing the house. you let out a heavy sigh. maybe if I lay here like this, he'll think I'm dead, you think. at this point, you feel as though that would be the best thing to ever happen.

Bo had been in an exceptionally sour mood the last few days, you were growing sick of it. at first, you had simply thought it was because of a few wanderers that had entered the town of Ambrose. news flash – it wasn't. you'd done everything to try and cheer the sour man up; a piece of your body at one point. he was ungrateful.

even Vincent and Lester hadn't been in such sour moods. Vincent was always lurking in the basement, sculpting away and Lester — well, he was everywhere and nowhere at once. still, they'd at least treated you with kindness. now you know why neither of them got along with Bo very much, especially Vincent. he's a dick.

lost in your thoughts, you only open your eyes once you feel a boot nudging your rib. you let out a wince. did he not have a gentle bone in his body? you chew at the inside of your cheek.

"the hell you doin', layin' on the porch? y'look dead." Bo's voice rings out, thick southern accent drawing you in. you can vividly remember why you fell for him the first place. he was a southern sweetheart, once. your gaze travels from his dirty, dusty boots, traveling up his pants – landing on his face. his brows are furrowed in what seems confusion or frustration (you can't really tell).

"thinking." you answer flatly. your eyes drift from the Sinclair to the bright sky, hand raised to wipe more sweat away. Bo fails to provide any shade as he looms over you. "what exactly could you be thinkin' 'bout?" he asks, gruff. how does one explain that they're thinking about how much they despise the person they're dating? ..are you two even dating? it's a blurred line. you squint your eyes at the southern charm standing above you. you change the subject.

"any more tourists?" you ask, voice crackling with thirst and void of any actual curiosity. Bo narrows his eyes at you, placing his hands on his hips. he briefly lifts his head, looking off into the distance before he shakes his head. "no, and thank God for that. I don't need no more damn trouble. I'm already worn out havin' ta' deal with Vincent and Lester. you, too." he grumble, gaze falling back on you. you can't tell if he means it in a lighthearted way.

you roll onto your side, face twisting into at the feeling of sweat making your shirt stick to your back. you push yourself up. "Vincent don't cause any trouble, he stays to himself." you protest. Lester on the other hand, well, his hyperactivity can get a little tiresome. he's still kind though, means well..as someone that leads people to their death could be. Bo just rolls his eyes, waving his hand dismissively.

"come on, now. inside." he says, you almost feel like a dog being beckoned by its owner. perhaps you are one, with the way you stand up, dusting yourself off. with the way you follow him into the rickety house that you hate so much yet love.

god, you really despise him.

I really loved this! The actors are PERFECT! And I’m really enjoying the cinematography and dialogue so far! They’re keeping very in line with what we know about the hyyh story! It’s so exciting to see everything from the mvs acted out! And it’s so cool to see more detail of the characters and their relationship with each other!

When stray kids finally landed in Japan, went through security and the tons of fans waiting outside the airport for them, after they managed to all get in the car and get to the hotel, the boys were all understandably tired. Ready to get their rooms.

They all stood around together in the hotel lobby as a staff member came up and began explaining the room arrangements: Han, Chan and Seungmin, Felix and I.N, and... Changbin, Hyunjin and Lee know.

Hyunjin groaned in annoyance as Lee know and changbin cheered and danced around him. "Seriously? I'm with THEM?"

Lee know flicked his ear playfully. "Why are you saying it like it isn't the best thing in te world?"

Changbin came around on his other side, patting his head and cooing. "Is Hyunjinnie too shy to admit he's happy about sharing a room with his two favorite Hyungs?"

Hyunjin blushed and scoffed as all the other members just laughed and brushed it off.

Everyone eventually got their key cards and went right up to their rooms. As soon as Lee know unlocked the door, Hyunjin went right in and claimed a bed by throwing himself on it face first.

What he wasn't expecting, was for Changbin to come and jump right on top of him. "Woah- hehey! Get off!"

Changbin cooed and nuzzled his nose into Hyunjin's neck. "Why? You love this, and you love me!"

Hyunjin whined, and then groaned once again when Lee know came and layed down next to him too. "I'm going to sleep right here, with Jinnie~"

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and pushed out from under changbin ending up on the floor. "You guysss... you have to stop being all lovey dovey with me!"

Lee know and changbin grinned at each other, then at hyunjin. "Why? You love this!"

"What? No I don't!"

"Oh yeah? Then how come you're smiling like an idiot right now?" Changbin questioned and reached out to pat Hyunjin's cheek, crying out dramatically when hyun slapped his hand away gently.

"I don't like it!" Hyunjin insisted and sat down on a different bed.

Changbin and Lee know exchanged looks, then both slowly moved towards hyunjin. "Yes you do. You love it, and you will admit it unless you want us to help you admit it."

Hyunjin tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"You'll see. So do you admit it?" Lee know asked.

Hyunjin huffed and went back to his annoyed role. "No! Why would I even admit something that's not true!"

Changbin grinned and pounced on Hyunjin, laying him down on the bed. "I was kind of hoping you'd say that."

Lee know nodded in agreement and moved to sit on Hyunjin's lower stomach as changbin sat behind his head, holding his arms above his head with only one hand. Lee know then wasted no time digging into Hyunjin's tummy.

Hyunjin screamed in surprise, twisting and turning. "WHAT? NOHOHO HAHAHAHA!"

Changbin and Lee know laughed along with him. "This is what you get for lying~"

"WHEHEN DID I EVEHER LIE?!" Hyunjin laughed crazily.

"You said you didn't like it when we give you attention and love you!" Changbin said and shook his head in disapproval.

"I DIDNT LIHIHIE!" Hyunjin insisted as he flopped about like a fish out of water.

"Mhm, sure you didn't." Changbin giggled.

"Hold him tighter, we're going to make him admit the truth." Lee know said, waiting for Changbin to hold Hyunjin's wrists even tighter before he shook his head into the younger boy's tummy.

Hyunjin screamed, tears flooding out of his eyes. "NOHOHOHO!!!"

"you know how to make it stop~" Lee know teased.

"Just admit it and we'll stop!~" Changbin

Hyunjin tried his best, he really did. But when Changbin started helping Lee know by gently tickling the ferrets neck, hyunjin could not take it anymore.

"OKAHAHAY! I ADMIT IHIHIT!"

"Admit what?" Lee know acted clueless.

"I-I LIKE YOUHUR ATTENTION!" Hyunjin's face flushed as the words came out of his mouth.

"We knew it~" changbin giggled and let Hyunjin's arms go immediately, Lee know also bringing his head and hands away from the boy as well.

"Whatever..." hyunjin mumbled.

Lee know chuckled. "Don't be embarrassed! It's adorable."

Hyunjin blushed some more."yeah, yeah... can i go to sleep now?"

Changbin pat his back. "You go for it."

The older boys watched Hyunjin getting under the blankets of one of the beds, following him and getting under the blanket with him in that teeny tiny bed.

Hyunjin groaned, then thought about it and relaxed again. "Fine... only this once..."

All three boys fell asleep with a smile. All three also woke up with a smile, but that was because of a bit more ticklish reason

What do you think hunters favorite Taylor album would be? 👀👀

Woow. Such a great question! Actually, I have thought about this before.

Okay, so, I believe that for Hunter is impossible to actually pick ONE album as his favorite. He's an anxious person, and he switches from music preferences depending on how he feels, so I imagine it would be something like this:

When he wants to feel a little more like a teenager, he listens to 'Taylor Swift'. Singing 'Picture to burn' or 'You should've said no' to the top of his lungs is something that makes him feel strangely powerful. Plus, listening to 'Fifteen' makes him a little emotional.

For days when he wants to feel all badass, he probably listens to 'Reputation'. I can totally picture him playing shooter games and whenever he kills something, he goes "Ohh! Look what you make me do!" with a weird shoulder movement while shaking his head from side to side.

Cleaning days are always '1989' and 'Fearless' days. He does the dusting while dancing to 'Shake it off', or takes out the garbage walking backwards to 'You belong with me'. (Because then he goes back to the house at the beat of 'Ohh, I remember you driving to my house in the middle of the night, I'm the one who makes you laugh when you know you're bout to cry -clap-clap'). However, he never listens to 'wildest dreams' if he knows he might get some company. He blushes too much at the song. That's the main reason why he only plays 'Lover' album at nights, after Gus is sleeping. 'Paper rings', 'Daylight', 'Cruel summer' and 'Lover' keep him daydreaming. It is too easy for him to imagine alternative universes in which he lives all those lyrics, always with the same person *wink wink*.

When he's starving happy stamina, he listens to 'Speak now'. He always leaves 'Mean' for the end, so he is full of himself when the 'but all you are is mean, and a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life, and mean' part comes and he feels it deep in his heart.

Hunter definitely listens to 'Red (Taylor's version)' when feeling melancholic. The first time he watched the 'All too Well' video (15-minute version), he cried. Gus and Willow found him an hour later checking on Jake Gyllenhaal's Instagram. He also uses the 10-minute version as a timer when he needs to do things quickly. He loves to listen to this album when sewing because the songs are like little stories he can picture as movies in his head.

When 'Midnight' album came out, Hunter didn't sleep. He spent the whole night listening to it, deciding which songs were his favorites. Still unsure, but his top three are: 'You're on your own, kid', 'Anti-hero' and 'Mastermind' because 'no one wanted to play with me as a little kid, so I've been scheming like a criminal ever since to make them love me and make it seem effortless...' ... I don't think it's necessary to explain why he likes it so much. *Fun fact, once, he was helping Willow to remove some undergrowth from Camila's garden and tiny little flowers popped up from the dirt. She explained that from what she had read, it was uncommon for those to grow and live without help. He used the analogy of 'Snow on the beach' and she beamed at him. Since then, it is also one of his favorites.

Anywways, I do believe with all my heart that Hunter discovered Taylor in her pandemic era. Plus, he's an indie soul, so he fell for her music when twinnies 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' came out. And those are his comfort albums. He listens to both of them once a week. However, once, while he was answering a survey for a random guy at the supermarket, this question came. He thought about it for a couple of seconds, then replied 'Evermore'. Gus, who was with him at that time, asked him later why (knowing that his friend is a massive swiftie nerd). Hunter blushed, then looked aside and said "I guess I just like the line-up".

If anyone reading this doesn't know what I mean, I cordially invite you to check what's the name of the first song in the said album. Then, you can draw your conclusions and understand why Hunter thinks being a swiftie is part of his fate and why he does so fondly think about the album as one of the most beautiful things in the human realm.

Hiya Moxie! Great news for you: I LOVE world building too~! I actually DM for a bunch of friends for D&D, and I made a whole world for them with homemade holidays, cities, cultures and more! currently they're just focused in one country but I'm still creating the others for funsies (and future D&D campaigns maybe).

Taking inspiration from other cultures and experiences, a lot of holidays tend to be focused either around changes in the year (e.g., the major solstices, new year), relationships (.e.g., Valentines, Dia de los Muertos) or events (e.g., independence days). So here’s a few that I have headcanon’d for Aalveir:

Sun Day - takes place on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Humans and elves/elova give praise to Oa, the god of the sun and the one who created the world in essence. Flowers from the last few days of Spring are exchanged as gifts to loved ones, and dancing similar to maypole dancing is done. This is especially popular with Savaelova, aka sun elves.

Nesting Gathering - a misatani holiday (misatani are humanoid rabbitfolk), where traveling misatani will return to the warrens they came from to share stores and meals with their wider families. A special occasion can come about when family members confirm they will be remaining in their own warrens the next year to welcome their own children back, so parents will give their adult children blessings in the form of wreathes made from leaves and other flora that are local to the area.

Call of Thuruss - widespread holiday across all races/nations, recalling when Thuruss summoned all to the Dragon’s Mount and Aalveir’s rage/Oa’s blessing turned Thuruss into the first celestial dragon and created the metallic dragons. Street parties galore with various fried foods sold, usually stamped with the crest of a dragon in flight. Retellings of the event are hugely popular, with vinderlings (small very technologically advanced humanoids) especially going in on special effects and the like, with minor risk of burning.

I hugely recommend going to listen to GrowlingWhisper’s videos to find out more about the lore of Aalveir. The holiday Call of Thuruss is based off this one in particular.

Continuing on with traveling, Avon has done a LOT of wandering across the countryside of Akropa. Better not to stray off into other countries lest they deal with everything else going on in there, Akropa has enough fun to last a lifetime (plus now they don’t want to travel too far from Aniketos’ woodland).

Of course Avon’s going to say their favourite place to travel to what Aniketos’ tree, but if we ignore that I think their favourite place they traveled through was a small hamlet, which mostly consisted of a handful of homes and a singular inn - Cloverdell Inn. There they were welcomed by a kindly misatani by name of Nigel, even though Avon made it in quite late at night, and they were even able to get a hot spring bath in the inn. By day, they received a hearty breakfast on the house, and were able to spend a day exploring the nearby forest and waterfall before returning for another hot spring dip. A perfect example of a sweet and quiet break before getting back on the road. One of two reasons why Avon travels so much.

Meanwhile Aniketos doesn’t want to travel far at all. Being a dryad, he’s primarily limited to his woodland and the fae realm. He could travel well enough in the mortal realm, but prefers the safety that his woodland provides. He makes up for this by listening to Avon’s tales, as well as taking them on small excursions to lovely spots within the forest. One place they both enjoyed going to was a large clearing that they spent hours in, mapping the clouds and watching birds of prey, and then seeing the deer lords traveling through the clearing with their herds. It was pretty awe-inspiring! Aniketos wants to make up a picnic and take Avon to a garden that a group of local elova take care of (an idea he may have picked up from Soldagand).

its set in a school MUN club (a bunch of nerds go there and debate really formally about serious topics) and reader is a chair (ultra nerd who makes sure everything happens in order), while ace is a staff member (doesnt participate in the debate, but is responsible for passing papers around, counting votes etc.) theres thing called the gossip box, its a box where anyone can send anything anonymously, and as long as its respectful, the chairs will read the gossips out loud to everyone at the end of the session. u can freely flirt in there btw...👀 THEREFORE... y/n sends notes like "ngl that staff guy is kinda cute..." and "am i the only one who thinks the staffer is pretty???" all the time and keeps narrating the whole thing as if its not them who is sending the notes 💀💀💀💀 "seems like our lovebird anon is back again with another flirty gossip... whO COULD it be...!?" there are also things called "punishments", which u get when youre late or something, and the chairs decide what to make u do, usually its like "dance in front of everyone" or "sing baby shark rn". one day y/n accidentally gets a punishment, and the punishment is decided for fun: confess your love for someone (it happens a lot in irl MUNs actually) so... what if y/n... does _not_ fake that confession for the sake of the punishment...? and PERHAPS, they confess to the really cute guy with the freckles, that happens to have been confessed to a trillion times through anonymous notes? i mean.. its JUST a possibility

Colombia was harsh. Working at the Embassy was even harsher. You always looked forward to the weekend where you could go out and let loose for a night. Not worrying about Escobar, or getting gunned down. Just you in a swarm of sweaty bodies.

You usually went out with the two DEA agents, Murphy and Peña. They were good friends. Murphy's wife, Connie, sometimes came along and it was great to have another woman to talk to and drink with.

Recently you started to pick up guys from the bars you went to. One night stands. But it bugged you that not one was interesting enough to have stick around.

You felt... Lonely... Home was far away and other than your drinking buddies, you didn't really have friends. You always came home in an empty appartment, which you tried to decorate but still felt soulless, in an empty bed waiting to relive the same day, the same week, month, year. Everything was the same and everything felt so lonely.

It was another day at the bar with the agents. Steve had bought rounds this time and you were absentmindedly sipping your brightly colored cocktail. Your gaze flittered over the sea of people dancing and grinding together. For once, you didn't want to join in. Instead your mind went a thousand miles an hour, thinking about everything bad in your life. There was a lot.

"Colibrí, are you okay?" Javier asked, snapping you out of the depths of your mind. You just nodded, quickly taking another sip of the sweet drink in front of you. "I am, Javier." You said once you trusted your voice.

He looked at you a bit concerned. His beautiful brown eyes stared deep into yours and you felt exposed to him which made you shift awkwardly in your seat. He didn't notice, continuing to study you.

The moment was broken by Steve who slapped Javier on his shoulder, telling him something which Javier waved off. Steve sauntered off and Javier then turned back to you, a smirk gracing his lips.

"Wanna step outside for a smoke?" He asked, his deep voice caused redness to creep up your neck and cheeks. Sipping the last bit of the cocktail, you gave him a nod and the two of you got out of the booth and headed outside.

The nicotine rushed through you calming your nerves as smoke poured passed your lips. You were sat on the stairs next to the nightclub whilest Javier stood next to you, leaning against the wall.

"Wanna tell me what's going on in that smart head of yours?" The man asked you. You looked up to see his eyes angled down to you. You coughed slightly, looking down at a very interesting pebble.

"It's nothing, honestly. Pretty dumb actually. Don't know what you find so smart 'bout me." You answered, taking another drag of the cigarette.

"I can't judge if something's dumb or not if you don't tell me what it is, Colibrí." Javier said simply. You huffed at him, turning your head to fully look at him.

"Just... Realised how lonely I really am. I have no one who loves me here. Or likes me enough to put up with me. Every day is the same. I'm so lonely, Javier, it's crazy." You confessed. Javier frowned at you, and sat next to you, groaning as his back and knees cracked.

"Think you lie" he said simply, stubbing out his cigarette. "You are very loved."

You snorted, stubbing out your own cig. You shook your head. "I am not. Truly."

"Colibrí, truly, there are plenty of people who love you."

"Yeah, Javi? Like who? Ambassador Noonan?"

"Like me."

Your eyes widened as the two words left his lips. You stared at him with your mouth open, stammering a little as he stared off into the distance.

"..Javi?"

"Hmmm?"

"You mean that?"

"'Course"

His reply was simple but filled with emotion. His eyes finally meet yours and you desperately search them for a lie.

"I don't believe you." You whispered softly. Your mind reeled by the thought of Javier Peña liking- loving -you.

"Well... It is true... Is it that hard to believe?" He said, his eyes wide with emotions that you found hard to read.

"I mean.. You are Javier Peña.. You got your... Reputation going for you." You said to which he cursed.

"Mi Colibrí, please listen to me. You are the funniest, loveliest and kindest person I know. True, I don't... Do love... But you have shown me so much and... I like you, a lot." You saw that it was hard for him to say those words. Javier never talked about his feelings, rather drinking and fucking them out instead of talking about them.

You stayed silent for a bit and slowly, Javier raised his hand and envoloped yours. It was warm and rough from handling guns every day but it sent sparks through your body. A shuddering sigh left your lips.

“Are you sure about... this.... Whatever this is... Javi?” you asked in a whisper, giving his hand a little squeeze. He squeezed back. You were too afraid to meet his eyes so your gaze was focused on a few pebbles in front of you.

“I am sure if you are, hermosa. Let me help you. Make you feel loved. Make you feel less lonely, okay?” his words comforted you.

“I need to take it slowly, Javi. I can’t just.... do it. If we do this I can’t have this be an one night stand. I could not handle that. I need time, to trust myself.” you told him, finally meeting his beautiful eyes again. His lips were turned up in a smirk and he brings your connected hand up, kissing your knuckles.

“We will figure this out. Let’s just enjoy tonight, ‘kay? Come now, Steve will be waiting”. And with a nod, Javier pulls on your arm to have you stand up. For a moment you two stand there together. He leans in and softly kisses your forehead. He whispers sweet nothings to you, how it’s gonna be allright and that he will be right here. After a few moments, he leads you back into the club. And it feels like a new chapter of your life has started.

1. what are 3 things you’d say shaped you into who you are?

hmm…i would say…

the first time i watched star wars. prior to that, i had only really watched disney animated films and nature documentaries (which i still love with all my heart), but star wars really opened my eyes to the entertainment industry…and let’s be honest, probably started my cycle of obsessions…

moving out of california. don’t get me wrong, i love cali and still consider it my home (and i also still spend a good chunk of my life there), but i think i had really gotten into this rhythm of the same cycle/confinements 24/7 and was really in need of a culture and scenery change.

similar to the previous one, but making the conscious decision to stop caring so much about what others think of me and my beliefs (i actually just watched a really good laura osnes interview that talks about just this that i may or may not post a clip of), but i truly felt freer after letting go of other peoples’ judgements and opinions of me (and it is definitely something i’m still working on as well).

14. what’s something you’ve always wanted to do but maybe been to scared to do?

sharing my faith to my non-christian friends. definitely something i didn’t grow up/feel comfortable doing, but i think we’re slowly getting there

30. what’s one thing that never fails to make you happy/happier?

currently, this video.
