Continuing the Lion King thread, "Circle of Life" is pretty powerful. (And after going through some Disney animation history, it hit me that that sequence would have given Walt Disney a heart attack of pure joy--a powerful original musical composition set to elaborate animal animation was exactly what he was striving to accomplish with so many of his early artsy works, except this is one that audiences finally appreciated).

2 – Favorite Classic Film: Oof, I don't think I've watched enough classic films. 😅 Does West Side Story (1961) count?

3 – Favorite Nostalgia-Inducing Possession: Oh wow, this is very tough, because I'm an incredibly sentimental person. 😂 Maybe the little light-up Chicago Bulls keychain that my favorite teacher gave me in high school. He was my mentor, became a good friend, and was one of the only people who would talk basketball with me. So it's a nice little thing that reminds me of the great conversations we've had and the belief/confidence he has in my writing.

my sunday's been...okay so far. saw some people at church that i haven't talked to in a while, so that was nice 😊.

giggled over finding neverland for a bit XD, did some grocery shopping

i'm trying to get (trying not to sound too technical here 😅) this web scraping code to work...and it is very much...just not working (but i think i'm almost there!). that's been a little frustrating, but i'm listening to fn (i'm just *in the mood* now 😆) to try and offset that.

other than that, it's been pretty slow—although i do have a family call later, so that should be fun :D.
