Kamala Harris just announced that her vice president will be Minnesota governor Tim Walz. Based on the coverage so far I'm really reassured by this decision.
The Washington Post did an obviously great job of making a prepared article for each option, considering how long an article they had up 7 minutes after the announcement.
((Okay technically it's not an official announcement yet it's "according to three people familiar with the pick, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a decision that is not yet public." But listen. I am 99% sure this is a weather balloon. (Meaning: a deliberate leak to gauge reaction.) Because the sheer weakness or incompetence on the part of the Harris campaign that it would take for three people to all confirm that within a few hours hours of each other and the planned announcement it is massive.))

-via The Washington Post, August 6, 2024
Honestly this decision, from everything I've read and can tell, looks like it's brilliant politics.
Important Context: The vice president(ial candidates)'s job in an election is not to be similar to the president. The vice president's job on the ballot is very, very much specifically to be different from the president. Why? So they can cover each others' weaknesses. Especially regionally.
(Sidenote: I feel a bit ridiculous saying this. But genuinely if you want to get a stronger understanding of how US elections really work. Go watch seasons 6 and 7 of The West Wing. Genuinely, a lot of politicians have said - especially back in its day - that that was the most accurate depiction of an election they'd ever seen. Also specifically features an entire arc about a contested Democratic primary convention, so also very good if you're interested in understanding weird nominating convention shenanigans.)
From the article:
"Harris’s choice for a running mate was among the most closely watched decisions of her fledgling campaign, as she sought to bolster the ticket’s prospects for victory in November and rapidly find someone who could be a governing partner. In picking Walz, she has selected a seasoned politician with executive governing experience and signaled the importance of Midwestern battleground states such as Wisconsin and Michigan.
Walz’s foray into politics came later in life: He spent more than two decades as a public school teacher and football coach, and as a member of the Army National Guard, before running for Congress in his 40s. In 2006, he defeated a Republican to win Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District--a rural, conservative area--and won reelection five times before leaving Congress to run for governor.
Walz was first elected governor in 2018 and handily won reelection in 2022. Though little-known outside his state, Walz emerged publicly as one of the earliest names mentioned as a possible running mate for Harris, and in the ensuing days he made the rounds on television as an outspoken surrogate for the vice president...
“These are weird people on the other side. They want to take books away, they want to be in your exam room. … They are bad on foreign policy, they are bad on the environment, they certainly have no health care plan, and they keep talking about the middle-class,” Walz told MSNBC in July. “As I said, a robber baron real estate guy and a venture capitalist trying to tell us they understand who we are? They don’t know who we are.”
Walz also has faced criticism from Republicans that his policies as governor were too liberal, including legalizing recreational marijuana for adults, protecting abortion rights, expanding LGBTQ protections, implementing tuition-free college for low-income Minnesotans and providing free breakfast and lunch for schoolchildren in the state.
But many of those initiatives are broadly popular. Walz also signed an executive order removing the college-degree requirement for 75 percent of Minnesota’s state jobs, a move that garnered bipartisan support and that several other states have also adopted.
“What a monster. Kids are eating and having full bellies, so they can go learn, and women are making their own health-care decisions,” Walz said sarcastically in a July 28 interview with CNN when questioned whether such policies would be fodder for conservative attacks, later adding: “If that’s where they want to label me, I’m more than happy to take the [liberal] label.”
Walz also spoke at a kickoff event in St. Paul for a Democratic canvassing effort, casting Trump as a “bully.”
“Don’t lift these guys up like they’re some kind of heroes. Everybody in this room knows--I know it as a teacher--a bully has no self-confidence. A bully has no strength. They have nothing,” Walz said at the event, sporting a camouflage hunting hat and T-shirt.
Walz has explained that he felt some Democrats’ practice of calling Trump an existential threat to democracy was giving him too much credit, which prompted his decision to denounce the GOP nominee instead as being “weird.”
“I do believe all those things are a real possibility, but it gives him way too much power," Walz said on CNN’s “State of the Union” regarding the Democrats’ rhetoric. “Listen to the guy. He’s talking about Hannibal Lecter, shocking sharks, and just whatever crazy thing pops into his mind.”
If Walz is elected vice president, under state law, Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan (D) would assume the governorship for the rest of his term. Minnesota Senate president Bobby Joe Champion, a Democrat, would become lieutenant governor."

This guy. Sounds like. fucking Moderate swing-state/rural/Midwestern/southern/"heartland"/working class white voter catnip. He sounds like he's also a very smart politician and strong campaigner. And he's apparently genuinely a good guy with a good record, too.
He sounds like he's going to do a really good job of appealing to voters in several of the big deal swing states without being from any of them specifically. Which means it doesn't feel like pandering to one of the states involved (and thereby spurning the others), which is also great.
(Also he was the one who started "weird" @ conservatives and I think we should take that seriously as a very good political instinct/move. Judging in large part by how it has so clearly hit an actual nerve with conservatives like so little else. Also hugely relevant: that post going around about how part of why conservatives are so upset about "weird" is because in the Midwest, "weird" specifically also implies anti-social or harmful behavior.)
Officially feeling more optimistic about Trump not winning in November

Not Quite Dead
Hello, everyone,
It's been a while, and I am well aware of it. I'm very sorry about my long silence, and very grateful to everybody who has reached out to me. I know I haven't responded to most of you, but please know your messages have been bright lights in an otherwise very dark path.
It's a long story, but I'll make it as short as possible.
Following a hard period during the pandemic, I obtained a temporary government job in June, 2021. I started working and was overtaken by an unexplainable exhaustion no doctor had an answer for, if they believed me at all. I worked full time, I slept 14 hours, I squeezed in studying here and there and on February, 2022, sat another official exam for a government position. I passed and got a position.
So I had a job for life. Good things happened, bad things happened. I remained exhausted most of the time. On May, 2024, I finally found a good doctor who had an inkling what my exhaustion and a myriad newer small symptoms could be.
On May 20th, 2024, the same day I turned 32, I was diagnosed Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. This is a type of blood cancer. Fortunately, the variation I have is well studied and has a 90% survival rate. There are many treatment options for me.
Unsurprisingly, exhaustion, brain muddyness, and a weak immune system are symptoms of CML. My doctor estimates I developed it around 2020, but confinement and paranoia over the pandemic masked its initial symptoms. This, followed by a personal life tragedy that came with its own onslaught of grief and depression, combined with my lack of energy and my less than ideal living conditions resulted in four years passing between apparition and diagnostic.
I'm very lucky it was found before it became a more aggressive form of leukemia.
Now I'm on medical leave and umdergoing a very targeted form of chemotherapy. It's not great, it has many side effects, but the doctor assures me I should stabilize and lose both the symptoms and side effects in a year at most.
Throughout all this, reading the comments and messages from all the wonderful people who take time out of their days even to read stories that appear very much abandoned has been an invaluable source of joy and encouragement.
To all these people, I'd like to say:
Thank you. Thank you for giving me the motivation to keep trying.
And also:
Nothing is abandoned.
I don't know how long it'll take me to recover my energy levels, nor which stories will call to me first, but I intend to continue all of my stories.
Chapter 24 of The Colours of the World is at 3k.
i hope to see all of you soon.

thai language question! what do tongthap and atom call each other in MLMU TH? it sounds like ‘nai’ or maybe ‘ngai’? it’s translated to both of their names several times on the YT subs. i’ve tried to look it up but i’m not sure i’m hearing it right 🙈
Thai pronoun: Nai
They are indeed using nai. Hold on I know I posted about that one at some point... AH HA here it is:
you want this section: (but I'll c&p it over here add to it at the bottom)
Nai & the Mafia
So in 2022 Thai BLs seriously started moving setting outside of the school systems and thus added new pronouns (for us watchers) into the mix. KinnPorsche, Even Sun, and Unforgotten Night all use the pronoun nai (นาย) for you between men. Like many honorifics & pronouns, it’s derived from a minor title of nobility. In the 19th century it was declared the official courtesy title for adult males - regarded as a direct translation of “Mr”.
Tumblr media
It has several different uses today.
As a title, it only appears before the real given name (not surname), in official/formal contexts, e.g. when writing down one’s name on an exam paper, job application, or government form. If used with a nickname, it implies a bit of irony (like a teacher calling out a misbehaving student).
As a pronoun, it’s usually an informal second-person pronoun used with males of equal status. It’s a decidedly non-rude word, so it’ll be used among friends/classmates if they don’t feel close enough to use gu/mueng (or if a person just doesn’t use rude pronouns, like swear words there are people who don’t feel comfortable ever saying guu/mueng).
Rao/nai as pronouns used to be the default mode of address on TV before gu/mueng became acceptable to broadcast in the 2010s.
When used by females, nai is pretty much equivalent to males using ter with females - so an old fashioned but intimate and sweet, loving.
On TV, the use of ter/nai is probably most often associated with straight dramas in the acquaintance phase of courting.
Nai also has the meaning “boss” (similarly to the combined form เจ้านาย (jao nai/chao nai). If it’s being used as a pronoun in a more formal or deferential context (like organized crime), it is used in this sense.
Usage number 2 & 6 are the ones we see in Thai BL. All that said I understand as a tourist in Thailand, you will hear nai but not all that often. It’s fine to use khun instead/back, but good to know to identify nai.
Nai & My Love Mix Up
So My Love Mix Up is using #2.
Tumblr media
With adult males, nai is actually often paired with chan. (I know, right, but it's what they use. See any of the mafia shows.)
But in this high school setting, Atom & Kongthap seem to be using pom or sometimes even tan. (I haven't touched on tan at all because I find it the most confusing pronoun.)
Atom & Half use guu/mueng. Atom use rao/name with Mudmee, and she does they same with him. Although I think she shifts to chan with Half when they get closer.
Kongthap doesn't seem to ever use informal. Even Half uses nai with him.
So I think the use of polite nai in this relationship is being dictated by Kongthap's character's reserved gentlemanly stiffness (much as in the original show). In other words, were it not for Kongthap's personality, this show in this setting (and with this pair) would be using guu/mueng. But because of the original IP and the extreme reserve of Ida in Kieta Hatsukoi (who also uses quite formal Japanese) we are seeing a linguistic characterization of one half of a couple carry through to the tenor of the whole relationship.
Tumblr media
In other words, the use of nai was dictated by Kongthap's personality.
Frankly put, Kongthap would simply not use guu/mueng so they had to find some other way for these two to communicate. Rao/ter is too sweet and cute and old fashioned out the gate (these boys could graduate to it, I suppose, like in college or after).
Now they might have used khun instead of nai. If this were set in uni or the office that would have worked fine. Or even if this were a high school in Bangkok. But I'm not surprised they reached for nai.
In fact, since the announcement of the adaptation I was curious about how they were going to approach Kongthap's pronouns. I thought they might make Kongthap older to solve the issue with phi but they wanted to do the "going away to college together?" part of the plot, so yeah... nai is the solution.
This couple sounds a bit stiff and distanced from each other when speaking together as a result, but I understand why the script chose it.
Hope that explains.

Opinion: Here’s who should have won Time’s ‘Person of the Year’
Updated 10:07 AM EST December 8, 2023
Editor’s Note: Holly Thomas is a writer and editor based in London. She is morning editor at Katie Couric Media. She tweets @HolstaT. The opinions expressed in this commentary are solely those of the author. View more opinion on CNN.
Taylor Swift is Time’s 2023 “Person of the Year,” and apparently, I’m the only millennial woman on Earth who doesn’t feel seen.
OK, that’s an exaggeration. But since the announcement, it’s felt like a specific corner of Spotify Wrapped got bitten by a radioactive spider and attained superhuman powers.
I’m happy for her, I guess. I’ve nothing against a seemingly pleasant person having a lovely time, and there’s no denying she’s had a stellar year. As Time’s feature details, Swift’s now made more No. 1 albums than any other woman in history, has world leaders begging her to tour their nations and has reportedly become a billionaire. “Swift is the rare person who is both the writer and hero of her own story,” says Time. That’s great. I just don’t find that story especially compelling.
Ugh, I feel so mean. I’m well aware this will upset people, and I’d never want to rob anyone else of their joy. We’ve all had conversations with people who simply don’t “get” the music or TV we’re into. Typically, my response to such complaints is, “That’s OK, it wasn’t made for you.” But part of what’s making me so squirmy is the sense that Swift, and the stories she tells through her music, are basically aimed at me. If you lined me up alongside everyone I know who’s currently rhapsodizing over her success, I’d be indistinguishable. But I’m not biting. That’s not because I think there’s anything wrong with her. If anything, my choice for Time “Person of the Year” would be more problematic.
Historically, the title’s recipient has often been a provocateur. The idea isn’t necessarily that the “best” person wins — though that’s certainly been the case at times — it’s that the person who’s had the most influence, for “good or ill” over the previous 12 months, is recognized. Previous winners have included Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Greta Thunberg, Martin Luther King Jr. and Elon Musk. This year’s shortlist included the Hollywood strikers, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Barbie, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Trump prosecutors, King Charles III and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Time ultimately named Altman CEO of the year. I think he should have taken the top title.
In case he hasn’t yet crossed your radar, Altman is the 38-year-old chief executive of OpenAI, the tech startup responsible for creating ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a revolutionary generative artificial intelligence chatbot that was launched in November 2022. It’s since astounded observers by passing exams at law and business schools, writing effective job applications and computer code and composing part of a political speech for Israel’s president.
The implications of that tech alone are both miraculous and terrifying, particularly given the potential for disinformation campaigns to influence the presidential election in 2024. Many companies besides OpenAI are vying for a bite of the lucrative AI market, competing to develop newer, evermore sophisticated systems. Though the Biden administration recently introduced legislation to regulate the exploding industry, the pace of development is so rapid that it’s often difficult for governments to keep up.
The mysteriousness and speed of the AI race were evidenced in November, when, less than a year after ChatGPT’s launch, Altman was fired suddenly by his company’s board. Just days later, Microsoft, OpenAI’s biggest stakeholder, announced it was hiring Altman to head up a new AI team. This prompted a mass revolt among OpenAI’s staff, almost all of whom threatened to quit unless Altman was rehired. Within days, he was, and the board that’d fired him was replaced.
The circumstances around both Altman’s dismissal and rehiring were remarkably murky. In their statement announcing his sacking, the original board accused Altman of “being not consistently candid in his communications,” but didn’t elaborate on what that meant. Even more worrying, Altman’s return and the restructuring of OpenAI have been characterized as a victory for AI “accelerationists” — those who believe that the tech should be developed as fast as possible, unconstrained by safety concerns. The episode proved that Altman wasn’t just capable of spearheading potentially the most significant invention of the 21st century so far. He was able to upend the ecosystem that created it within days.
This, I think, is what’s lacking in Swift as Time “Person of the Year.” Her predominance in the entertainment industry is undeniable, but her story is essentially one of becoming mega-successful within an existing framework. As she told Time, we live in a patriarchal society fueled by money, so “feminine ideas becoming lucrative means that more female art will get made.” It’s not a million miles from, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
The impression that no one’s anticipating any controversy from Swift anytime soon was reinforced in November when Gannett, America’s biggest newspaper chain, hired the first-ever Swift correspondent. The journalist in question, 35-year-old Bryan West, is a self-avowed fan. Odd though some might find it to hire someone with such an obvious bias, West has argued that it’s no different than “being a sports journalist who’s a fan of the home team.” Whether you agree with that comparison or not, it’s undeniably in his professional interests for Swift to remain popular and relevant — and it seems unlikely that the appetite for stories about her will wane anytime soon.
This is why Altman, not Swift, ought to have been Time’s “Person of the Year.” His impact on the world could be exponentially more consequential, but not nearly enough people are aware of him or the implications of his technology. Every move Swift makes, however incidental, is the subject of feverish intrigue and speculation. Over in San Francisco, Altman is making moves that could change the fate of the world. And until a month ago, most of us were unaware he even existed.

I don’t know about Sam Altman but I agree, it shouldn’t have been Taylor. She’s just a musician who is everywhere and in everything.
At least I’ve seen good and bad on the AI front. Good and bad from Hollywood and etc. Taylor? Just everyone praising her? For what? Her singing? Her tours? (Where people died but while they bitched at males for things out of their control, Taylor is praised for it….doesn’t make sense to me.) Her making us spend money we then complain about?
She’s not that good of a singer. I don’t like her anymore. She’s the same as any other singer out there.

This is horrible, and it was accurate when written, but there is an update. The genital exam requirement was removed 10 days after this post was screen-shotted to tumblr, on June 16, 2022. It was removed due to the national outrage, so good job with the national outrage everyone.
The Ohio sports ban on transgender girls didn't pass at all in 2022. In 2023, a ban on transgender girls in school sports was proposed again. It failed again. Republican governor Mike DeWine said he would veto it even if it did pass, and told the legislature to cut it out:
Gov. Mike DeWine (a Republican) previously spoke out against the amendment and said he believes legislators do not need to address the matter.
“This issue is best addressed outside of government, through individual sports leagues and athletic associations, including the Ohio High School Athletic Association, who can tailor policies to meet the needs of their member athletes and member institutions,” DeWine said previously.

Over 2.15 lakh Indians gave up their citizenship and moved abroad in 2023
Here are some points we should consider: With no cut-off for individual subjects – physics, chemistry and biology—in the NEET entrance exam, at least 400 students with single-digit marks in physics and chemistry and 110 students with zero or negative marks in them have been admitted for MBBS in 2017, mostly in private colleges. Better educational possibilities are the primary cause for relocation. India's reservation system, school privatisation, and theoretical education hinder middle-class kids from accessing global prospects. I interviewed some Gujarat University students, and most of them felt that in some professional courses, they learn the experience of industry experts, but there is no industry knowledge to help them prepare for MNC jobs or shape them as leaders to explore the field, and that the majority of the workforce ends up ruining their lives in cheap corporate labour. With government-administered Golden Visa programme, favourable tax environment, thriving business ecosystem, and safe atmosphere, Dubai is emerging as a favourite for Indian HNWIs. The proximity (it is a 3.5-hour flight from India) is another big reason. The number of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) in Indian is expected to reach 1.65 million by 2027, compared with nearly 800,000 in 2022. And a fraction of them will be looking to leave the country soon. But why are they moving? The big reasons are: India’s tax regime is considered severe, rules about remittances are harsh, overseas’ passports offer greater mobility (as per the Henley Passport Index 2023, Indian passport is ranked 80th along with Senegal and Togo, with visa-free access to 57 countries), and the higher standard of living in some countries, including better education and health care, more reliable infrastructure, cleaner air, and a better all-round lifestyle. Better education opportunities for children is one of the biggest reasons for Indians to move to another country.

He signed into law the Postal Service Reform Act, which ended the Postal Services' requirement that they prefund their retirees' health benefits far in advance instead of when they're due, something that no other federal agency has to do. (Remember when everyone was talking about this problem?) He also signed into law the first gun control legislation in 30 years, the biggest expansion in veterans' healthcare in 30 years, the American Rescue Plan, an infrastructure repair bill (which our country's aging infrastructure desperately needed) and the Inflation Reduction Act, or the biggest investment in fighting climate change in our nation's history. It also includes several provisions to lower out of pocket drug costs for Medicare patients, including capping insulin prices for some patients at $35, which caused three pharmaceutical companies that control almost the entire insulin market to cap their monthly insulin copays to $35 for many patients.
The Biden administration has provided nearly $132 billion in student loan debt relief for more than 3.6 million borrowers. This includes people who have been paying on their student loans for at least 10 years, those whose accounts were mismanaged, and public servants. He created the SAVE income driven repayment plan, a very generous and forgiving plan that is the most affordable option for a lot of people. Including me! It's the one I'm on. The administration also rolled out the Fresh Start program to help the nearly 7 million borrowers experiencing default improve their credit and immediately access SAVE.
The Social Security Administration issued a rule preventing food assistance from reducing payments to people who recieve Supplemental Security Income. SSI is for low-income people aged 65 or older or living with a disability. Before the rule, people who recieved it could see their SSI payments cut by as much as a third because friends or family provided meals or bought them groceries. People who recieve SSI are also one of the most food insecure groups in the US, so this change matters a lot.
He pardoned thousands of Americans convicted of simple possession of marijuana on federal lands in 2022 and then did it again for use and simple possession in 2023, making it easier for those folks to rent a home, find a job, or travel.
Under him, the FDA approved the first ever over the counter birth control pill, making the drug more accessible and hopefully affordable. Similarly, the FDA approved over the counter hearing aids for the first time, meaning people no longer have to have expensive hearing exams to access them. He's taken a number of steps on reproductive rights, including issuing an executive order to protect abortion access. He allowed retail pharmacies to dispense mifepristone.
The EPA banned 6 kinds of PFAs from drinking water. These chemicals have been linked to a variety of adverse health effects. The agency also published rules requiring more than 200 chemical plants to reduce toxic emissions that are likely to cause cancer, as well as rules requiring coal-fired power plants to reduce pollution and dramatically slash greenhouse gas emissions or shut down.
The Biden administration finalized rules that bring back protections for animals classified as "threatened" with extinction, clarify that decisions must be made about whether to list species without considering economic factors, and make it easier to designate areas as crucial for a species' survival, even if it is no longer found in those areas. The USDA finalized protections for Tongass National Park, the government halted Trump-era plans to allow logging in Northern Spotted Owl habitat, an endangered bird, and passed the first updated washer and dryer efficiency standards in over 10 years, saving Americans $2.2 billion a year on their utility bills and eliminating 71 million tons of carbon dioxide over 30 years. This is in addition to new standards for stoves, fridges, and freezers, and dishwashers and wine coolers are up next.
His administration also expanded Title IX to prohibit discrimination against LGBT people in federally funded schools and give survivors more legal rights, and the Department of Health and Human Services passed rules that prohibit health providers and insurers that recieve federal funding from discriminating against LGBT people.
He released the first ever national plan to combat anti-semitism, which includes over 100 steps that federal agencies have committed to taking within a year. A rule that went into effect in December could make it easier for workers to unionize. He's appointed 175 federal judges, most of whom are women or people of color, and plans to appoint more. It's crucial that Democrats retake the federal judiciary when judges make crucial decisions about our laws. And this is just the stuff I know of off the top of my head. It may go under-discussed, but he's done a lot of things that have helped a lot of people. No, he's not a good person. Yes, we need to hold him accountable for heinous acts. But voting is harm reduction and it matters.
I really think people have forgotten just how bad things were under the Trump Administration. Literally every day there was news about some service being cut or someone terrible appointed somewhere they shouldn’t be or what have you. He constantly flirted with WW3 and military dictatorship. It was such a blur of badness that there aren’t big standouts for people to point to to make him “the XYZ president.” it was everything. all the time. Why do we not remember this.

Introduction
Education isn't just about passing tests; it's about preparing you for life's challenges and opportunities. Yet, many people don't have access to a quality education. Let's explore what quality education means, why it's crucial, and how we can ensure everyone has a fair chance at it.
Understanding Quality Education
Definition
Quality education means more than just learning facts. It's about growing in every way—socially, emotionally, mentally, physically, and intellectually. It's about helping you become the best version of yourself in a school that supports and welcomes you.
Key Components
Good Teachers: Imagine having teachers who love what they do and are excited to help you learn.
Learning Tools: Think of using great books and technology that makes learning fun and effective.
Supportive Environment: Picture a school where you feel safe, healthy, and part of a community that cares about you.
The Importance of Quality Education
Effective Learning Outcomes
Quality education ensures you learn what you need to succeed and develop essential skills. For instance, did you know that in 2022, only about 1 in 5 third graders in India could read at their grade level? This shows why we need better education for everyone.
Skill-Building
It's not just about passing exams; it's about getting ready for jobs and life challenges. Right now, only half of young people in India have the skills employers look for. We can do better.
Overcoming Barriers and Inequalities
Getting a good education helps you overcome unfair treatment based on your race, gender, or how much money you have. It helps you break free from poverty and be part of making the world fairer for everyone.
Challenges in Accessing Quality Education
Marginalization in India
Some people in India still don't get the education they deserve because of things like their caste, gender, or how much money they have. Even though laws protect them, it's still tough.
State of Government Schools
Government schools often lack good buildings, enough teachers, or the right tools for learning. This makes it hard for everyone to get the education they need to succeed.
Impact on Mental Health
Not getting a good education can make you feel left out and less confident. This is especially true if you come from a background where education is hard to get.
Strategies to Improve Quality Education
Tailored Learning Approach
Imagine teachers who understand what you need to learn and help you in the best way possible. Using computers and other tools can make learning more fun and help you learn at your own pace.
Educational Alternatives
If regular schools don't work for you, there should be other ways to learn, like studying at home or online. Everyone should have a chance to learn in a way that suits them.
Using Technology
Schools should use computers and other tools to help you learn better. Online schools are a great example of how you can get a good education without spending a lot of money.
Conclusion
A quality education isn't just a privilege; it's your right and key to a better future. It helps you learn, be treated fairly, and make a difference in the world. By fixing problems and using good ideas, everyone can get the education they need and deserve.
