Time has become a tool for this second by second tease. As soon as you hear the first full word of the hikers you know they are almost close enough to see, so you order your sub to cover. This form of play, for an obedience minded submissive, will feel like disobedience to them. — You must reinforce the fact they did all they could to obey you. For long term teasing you could tell them they are not to cum without your permission, if they do they will be punished for it. This punishment is one they are okay with, but might not know. All of which is bounded within trust and care for their overall well-being.

I thought you wanted to kiss me?” I feel her hot breath on my lips. “I do, please” I extend my arm again. “Prove it” she pushes again. Hungry eyes on mine. I watch her expression waiting for the slightest break in arousal, a second or two later I allow my arm to bend and let her come to me. It’s her turn now to lead. I grab her rib cage and let her press her lips into mine as she please. My hands caress her sides as she spins, pushing me into the corner. I match her passion and rhythm. She presses her body into mine, squirming against me as she places kisses on my lips, fevered and then soft and then heavy again. When she seems to be fading in decision, I slowly spin her back into the corner. My forearm framing her face on one side, my palm on her cheek, my fingers in her hair, and my extended arm on the other side boxing her in. 2. Bonus example two. Referencing paragraph six. — Once we have this information of preferences and possible obstructions of it we can begin to synthesize it into possible modes of, and tools for, play for long or short term. For instance, using the above examples we can put together a possible play session that involves lots of skin to skin contact, unbroken kisses and maybe a pushing of minor, but prolonged pain to be a style this counterpart would enjoy. Such as having your sub straddle you, so your legs are touching theirs, putting your hand under their jaw, you drawing them in by it, using slow, soft kisses, but putting a teasing parameter on the kiss of a moderate painful stimuli, like slowly twisting the sensitive flesh on their ribs as long as they kiss you. They get a small dose of pain that they enjoy, lots of kisses and lots of skin to skin contact- both of which they adore. Consciousness and Physical Reality: Why we Need to Analyze the Nature of the Mind Once Again
Introduction
Part of the failure of an earlier post I wrote was that I was not very clear as to where I was coming from. I do not follow or profess any religion, though I am fascinated by all different belief systems. However, I do think that we , in modern society, have allowed our thinking about the universe and existence to stagnate. Partially, this is because we have fooled ourselves into believing that there are only two possible sources of information: knowledge acquired through the scientific method and knowledge based on faith. Between these two, I always choose knowledge based on the scientific method. However, there is a third source of knowledge: direct perception or appehension. And I believe it is through direct perception that we may find the key to unlocking some of the mysteries of existence. Specifically, direct perception and observation of our subjective experiences.
And before I continue, let me make a disclaimer from the outset: despite where this argument may appear to be going, I am not a dualist- nor am I a materialist. My thinking is inspired by a new wave of philosophy, but more on that later.
On Consciousness
I would like to start by asking a question: what is consciousness? Most of us believe, and rightly so, that our consciousness originates with the brain. We would say that consciousness is identical to the electro-chemical signals and patterns within our neural networks. I would not disagree. However, I do not believe it is fair to say consciousness is reducible to these neural networks.
Let us use a metaphor. I am on my computer right now. When I type on the keyboard, words appear on my monitor. It would be incorrect to say that my hits on the keyboard were separate from the images on the computer; clearly one produces the other. However, the images on the screen are not reducible to the presses of the buttons on my keyboard. There is an aspect of them, the image themselves, that would not be adequately described if I only bothered to speak about the process of touching the keyboard itself. This is roughly the relationship between electrochemical signals and conscious experiences.
The signals in the brain are certainly connected to my subjective experiences, but the images that I see, sounds that I hear and sensations that I feel would not be adequately described through speaking on these signals alone. What the brain contains is data or information. This data is transformed, through our conscious minds, into the images, sounds, tastes, smells and sensations of our subjective experiences- but though these are informed by the data, they are not reducible to the data.
This all sounds like dualism, I am aware, but I am not a dualist. I am simply trying to explain why a materialist understanding of the mind is inadequate. It is not that the mind has no material basis, it is that the word "material" only has meaning in conjunction with its antonym "immaterial". To say that the mind is material is to say that it has no immaterial characteristics, but upon a closer, honest inspection you will find that this is not true and that actually neither term is adequate; both must be discarded in favor of precision.
What is the missing piece? What is there in consciousness besides thoughts, sounds, smells, tastes, images and sensations? The answer is awareness. We often equate consciousness to thought, but consciousness and thought are not identical. Think of the sentence fragment: "I am aware of". This is how consciousness works. "I am aware of the ball." "I am aware of the tree." "I am aware of my anger." "I am aware of my thoughts." In everyday language and thinking, we usually understand that there is a distinction between awareness and the object of that awareness. It is awareness, not thought, that is the basis and foundation of consciousness. Awareness is the canvas on which all our subjective experiences are painted, it is the light which illuminates and powers all other mental functions. It is the "substance" or "clay" of subjective experience. Without awareness, there is no mind and no being.
Awareness is not knowledge, it is the faculty of being able to know, or to experience. Most people, for example, believe that a computer is capable of computing complex functions and mathematical equations. They do not necessarily believe that the computer is aware of itself doing so. If they did, we would probably not throw them away so casually. Computers hold data and information but, according to conventional wisdom, lack actual awareness. How would we program awareness into a computer? No one really knows. We don't truly know where awareness comes from, or what it is composed of.
We can program a computer to think, give it highly advanced AI, but we would only ever be able to guess if it was truly aware. There is no way to test for it, no know way to study pure awareness scientifically. We can measure brain activity, but brain activity correlates to the thoughts we are aware of and not to awareness itself. We cannot even be sure that individuals in deep sleep lack awareness, because awareness is not equivalent to or necessitates memory formation. Furthermore, we have a problem within our scientific understanding of the mind. "Awareness" is nonphysical. It cannot be measured. It has no weight, volume, shape or velocity. It has no measurable attributes altogether. Yet, somehow, it is produced by an apparently physical brain that does have those properties.
The problem
How can an entirely physical brain produce something nonphysical and completely immaterial? Matter and energy are known to interact, recombine and transform but not to create or destroy each other or especially anything completely unlike themselves. There is no ready scientific answer, and the easy solution is thus to pretend that the nonphysical or immaterial aspect of consciousness (awareness) simply does not exist.
A potential solution
There is another possible solution, however. Perhaps the immaterial (awareness/subjective experiences) and the material (matter/the brain/neurons) are simply two sides of the same coin. Perhaps the true nature of matter is consciousness, or awareness. We know, certainly, that part of the intrinsic nature of the matter within our brain involves consciousness. Which, then, is the simpler solution: that physical matter somehow produces, through an imperceptible and unknown process, an immaterial awareness that is entirely divorced from itself (dualism), or that matter and subjective awareness are in fact the same entity viewed at from different angles?
Maybe this sounds like materialism, but it is not. If the premise that matter = consciousness is true, then consciousness does not "arise" from the brain. Consciousness is the brain...and also the stars, sun and moon. If the matter in our brain has an intrinsic nature which involves consciousness, and the matter in our brain is not "special" or "different" from matter elsewhere, than why should consciousness (which we have already said is not equivalent to thought) be limited to the matter in our brain? To presume otherwise is to be a closet dualist pretending to be a materialist. To think otherwise would depend on the assumption that consciousness is something produced by the matter in our brain, and therefore not identical to it.
Consciousness is not divorced from physical reality, consciousness is physical reality. Again, to say otherwise is a form of dualism. Materialism supposes that subjective experiences do not exist, and that there is only electrochemical signals in the brain. Your conscious awareness proves that otherwise. Dualism supposes that awareness comes from something outside the brain, and is separate from it. Science proves that otherwise. The equating of matter and awareness is the best solution that we have. After all, what else would matter be anyway? We know what matter does, but not what it is. All the known properties of matter are descriptions of its behavior (it attracts this amount of other matter, takes up this much space, takes this shape, moves at this velocity etc.) and not of its substance. To say that awareness itself is that substance is to solve the hard problem and the mystery as to the essence of our material universe.
This is not solipsism. I am not saying that "your mind is all that exists." Other minds exist, or at least it is healthy to assume so. There is more to the universe than you, or at least this is what we must believe to be functioning members of society, but what those other entities are composed of could simply be conscious awareness. Atoms, protons, neutrons and electrons could all represent incredibly simple and fundamental forms of awareness, or subjective experience. Awareness, therefore, would be the building block and foundation for the entire universe. This view is known as panpsychism.
Conclusion
I came across this view while reading a book called "Galileo's Error" by Philip Goff, and it expanded my thinking. I hadn't consciously realized that my thinking about the mind fluctuated between materialism and dualism, and how deep down I felt neither were truly adequate. Panpsychism allowed me to fully accept the reality of my nonphysical awareness without negating the truths of science or the external universe, and to think more deeply about such things as existence, my relationship to the universe and philosophy. I would encourage you to consider this position as well.

Madonna-Whore Complex
Sigmund Freud, is best known for his neuro-theories around sexuality and the unconscious mind and being the man who coined the word "Ego".
Freud identified an interesting psychological and sexological dichotomy in his male patients known as the ‘Madonna-Whore complex’. Men with this complex saw women as either saints or prostitutes, showing two positions within their capacity as men to love the one and eroticise the other. Although never intertwining both, there is very much a need for women to experience both cohesively when in a relationship. The common complaint often heard in the therapy room is men default out of the relationship and often move further away from the eroticisation of their partner and solely see them as either a mother or partner, no longer a sex object.
The internal world we encounter when engaging in sexual intercourse has a number of assumed positions and one of these is the unspoken inner world that both parties encounter when engaging in penetration. Current literature ad narratives point us to being present so as to feel the oneness and connectedness that comes from the sexual experience, but there is a major portion of this still lived in the mind and remains unvoiced. So when a man enters through the door of  the "Madonna-whore complex" he encounters two things. The one is the loss of desire or eroticisation of his partner which prompts him to focus all his energies both mental and physical on the desperate need to maintain an erection. The second thing that occurs is that he will draw his attention to any image in his library of encounters or visual experiences in order to trigger the desperate arousal needed in bringing his erection back to life. Ironically moving further and further away from eroticising and seeing the incredible person that is Infront of him. 
Unbeknownst to the women in question, she will inevitably begin to realise that there is a dilemma about to unfold, maybe one she has encountered before or it may be a totally new one. Either way there is something about to unfold which is more often than not taken personally and internalised (also not spoken about). This places both parties more and more in their heads and instead of leaning into one another, they are both desperately trying to step away from the experience as a result of the shame that is felt. 
When this experience is compounded, the cycle eventually becomes a lifestyle due to the constant conditioning and reinforcement that has come from the experience. Within this, there is an almost immediate association made from the man to the woman which suggests that the inability to eroticise her means that I have to reinforce the other images she represents, namely the mother and Madonna. This is all well and fine when you have two parties unfazed by the need of sex and there are many relationships that exist and function well because this complex has been adopted as the new narrative for both parties. This fundamentally suggests that both parties don’t need sex any longer and are perfectly fine with the idea of simple cohabitation and companionship. 
However, when this is a problem for both parties or at least one, there will inevitably be the moment that arises where this needs to be confronted. 
From an individualised perspective, namely the woman's perspective because I often feel that the woman in question has this complex thrust upon her while she is fundamentally wanting to experience a powerful and sexualised experience with her partner filled with oneness and togetherness, but instead all she is seen as, or forced to embody is just mother or Madonna. 
I often hear from many men who see their partner as a physical being, but cannot associate eroticising her soul as a possibility. What this means is that these kinds of men are stuck in a visual stage where they can only eroticise what they see rather than realising that even being inspired by their partner is sexualised energy awaiting direction… either to the bedroom or directed towards a creative endeavour. And we haven't even spoken about ones ability to bring themselves into feeling the body to enhance ones arousal state. 
What eventually happens in this situation is that because of familiarity and conditioning we regress towards our reptilian brain and become very basic animals on the hunt for a new and more sexualised object. It is this unconscious reaction to being in a relationship that we as men need to challenge and out condition because what this does is create a pool of men creating unnecessary insecurities in a even bigger pool of women which fundamentally disarms them in presenting their authentic selves at any stage of the relating cycle.
At this point all we are focusing on is the felt sensation at the tip of our penis. The desperate desire to penetrate and move towards climax and further away from being able to truly connect with a different type of intimacy. 
This complex is largely contrasted with another type of person. One which is unfazed by the happenings of the relationship and will use the sexualised space as a means for expression and enjoyment and gratification regardless of how detached or present the other person is. They can within an instant be aroused and truly sexualise their partner and obliterate the concept of the Madonna-whore complex. This type of individual has created a very personalised relationship with sex and not placed any external narratives on how it should be influenced or managed or adjusted to suit or not suit their partner. They simply are deeply connected to their sex and use it as a primary means of expression.
This can be achieved by anyone wanting to define the sexual space as a playground for expression regardless of how deep or shallow the experience may be. There is a deep connection with needing to simply relish in this experience and they will lap up the encounter regardless. The more conscious this person becomes in exploring their sex deeper and deeper, they will open many more channels that will excite and arouse them to become more conscious lovers ultimately recognising that how they have conditioned themselves truly is a gift.
For the woman encountering men who do position or box them into this complex, there needs to be a firm stance taken to remain in your own flow of sexual and personal development. You need to keep focused on cultivating your sexual self-image and not be apologetic in your endeavour of trying to create your own sexual philosophy and how you want to live your life emotionally, psychologically, physically and sexually. This is the highest state of honouring yourself and can equally be applied to men on a similar journey. It is important to remember that this process can at times fee like a lonely one, but I assure you there are many more people recognising that they too have to adjust not only their self-image but sexual self-image.

ISLAM 101: Spirituality in Islam: Part 72
Part 1
Al-Awwal (The First), Al-Ahir (The Last) Az-Zahir (The All-Outward), Al-Batin (The All-Inwwal)
Al-Awwal (The First), Al-Ahir (The Last) Az-Zahir (The All-Outward), Al-Batin (The All-Inw Al-Awwal (the First) means the One Who is the First of all, without having a beginning, and Who brings all other existent things and beings into existence. Meaning the Last, with no end at all, al-Ahir (the Last) is the One in Whom everything ends while He has no end, as described in the verses:
Everything is perishable (and so perishing) except His “Face” (His eternal Self). (28: 88)
All that is on the earth is perishable; but there remains forever the “Face” of your Lord, the One of Majesty and Munificence. (55: 26–27) The One Who is the First and the Last is also the All-Outward, Whose existence is more manifest than the existence of everything else and Who causes the hearts and spirits of all existent things and/or beings to be aware of all His Attributes, while all these existent things and beings indicate themselves only to the extent of their bodily existence; and He is the All-Inward, Who cannot be comprehended because of His Honor and Grandeur and the intensity of His manifestation.
The First and the Last are mentioned in the Qur’an as contrasting Names, like day and night, Paradise and Hellfire, or believers and unbelievers. When we use the First for the Divine Being, we mean the Necessarily Existent One Who exists by Himself eternally without having a beginning and Who is infinitely independent of all things and beings. The Prophetic saying, “There was God and nothing existed besides Him,” denotes God’s eternal existence without a beginning. Some add to this hadith, “Now it is the same as it was then.” If, by this addition, they mean that God exists necessarily and by Himself, while the existence of all other things and/or beings depends on Him, there is no harm in it. But if they mean that only He exists and all other things are only fancied or imagined things, we cannot accept such an erroneous statement because it is a fundamental rule that “things have established realities or real essences (appointed for each by Divine Knowledge).”
The Divine Being is the First, Who exists eternally (in the past) before all other things and beings; He is the Last, Who will exist eternally, sending things from existence into non- existence and bringing “some thing that is non-existent” into existence, and in Whom everything else is bound to end; He is the All-Outward, Whose existence is the most apparent in every word of (the book of) existence; He is the All-Inward, Who is infinitely beyond all existence and on Whose Existence all things and events depend. He simultaneously is the First, the Last, the All-Outward, and the All-Inward, without being one being different from being the other. Being the First, He is eternal in the past exclusively, and being the Last, He is eternal in the future, particularly to Himself. His determinations and decrees as the First appear according to His Knowledge in His being the Last.
He is the First eternally (in the past) and the Last everlastingly. He existed when there was nothing else besides Him; He will eternally outlive all things and beings, which are bound to perish and which suffer continuous appearance and disappearance. Everything belongs to Him, coming from and ending in Him, but He is absolutely free from coming into existence or going into non- existence.
He exists eternally without coming into existence; That is, He exists without having a beginning. Nor is there an end for Him. It is He Who creates, and by Him does everything subsist. All of existence has been created from a light with Him; He said, “Be!” and everything was from a pure light. He is the First in that He creates and favors, and the Last in that He has mercy and forgiveness for His servants, preparing palaces of eternal happiness for them. He is the First in that He guides and the Last in that He rewards guidance. He is the First in that He has no beginning, is the Necessarily Existent Being, the Unique, and the One of Unity; He is the Last in that He is absolutely free from decay or going into non- existence.
Those who are favored with the manifestation of the Name “the First” dive into the depths of the past and writhe in torment about what their judgment from Destiny will be; but the Name “the All-Outward” leads them to consider God’s favors of belief, submission, and excellence in action, and to come to understand that their acts of worship are, in fact, the duties of giving thanks for those and other favors, thus strengthening their hope. A heart absorbed in the manifestation of the Name “the All-Inward” feels continuous wonder and astonishment in the face of thousands of enigmatic events; through the breezes of mercy blowing in through the windows of the Name “the Last,” they feel relieved of worries and find themselves in a delightful horizon of awe that opens on eternity.
All the existent worlds have a beginning on account of God’s being the First, and an end on account of His being the Last. When we consider eternity in the past, we experience wonder and amazement; and when considering eternity in the future, we shudder with fear and anxiety. Supposing the Prophet Muhammad, the truthful reporter, upon him be peace and blessings, had told us nothing about the signs of the end of time, the Resurrection, Paradise, and Hell, and so on, we would have been without words for eternity, both in the past and in the future.

Do you think artificially created yet inteligent life (like say androids), could develop a soul because a complex conciousness is enough to turn what once was just an aura into a soul? Like machines have auras and can even carry emotional echos of the people around it (wich could develop into a presence of it's own, but it would be more of an entity), but don't have souls because they don't think and feel, so if they had a mind like us or superior maybe their aura could end up evolving into one?

Okay so ironically this is sort of a debate that already exists and I just woke up from a longassed nap so I’m probably gonna be shorter than usual in it.
Siri, do you believe in God?
“Humans have religion. I just have silicon.”

That’s where we’re at now. But the future of AI does intend to bridge it in ways that it does think and feel, the way it does approach the universe similarly to us. This kind of turing test being passed is very rare. Eugene Goostman and Eliza passed, but does Eugene or Eliza actually *feel* is another question, and how much more complex do we have to get to reach that point?
The answer is, right now, probably not. It doesn’t seem like they truly feel as much as they are, in their responses, indiscernible from speaking to a human.
On the very hand, the very first objections to making AI were theological based on the idea of a soul.
Thinking is a function of man's immortal soul. God has given an immortal soul to every man and woman, but not to any other animal or to machines. Hence no animal or machine can think.

Others argue that trying to address the idea of a soul as a Thing is impossible.
Christian philosopher Nancy Murphy, who has co-authored several works with Brown, takes a similar view, claiming that we’ve been misled into thinking words like “mind” and “soul” correspond to things in themselves. When we say a person is intelligent, she says, we mean “that the person behaves or has the disposition to behave in certain ways; we do not mean to postulate the existence of a substance [called] intelligence.” We might do the same thing with the concept of “soul.”
But on if AI can have them? AI pioneer Marvin Minsky, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, thought so. In a 2013 interview with the Jerusalem Post, Minsky said that AI could one day develop a soul, which he defined as “the word we use for each person’s idea of what they are and why”.
He continued: "I believe that everyone has to construct a mental model of what they are and where they came from and why they are as they are, and the word soul in each person is the name for that particular mish-mash of those fully formed ideas of one’s nature.
"… If you left a computer by itself, or a community of them together, they would try to figure out where they came from and what they are."
Minsky was suggesting that machines could likely develop a particular way of being in the world, one which is grounded in the search for identity and purpose, and that this way of being could be similar to humans’ own way of being.
Brown is sceptical, noting the physiological differences between human bodies and AI. “It can’t think like a human because humans think with their whole bodies and from what extends from their bodies,” he says. “Robots have very different bodies and ‘physiology.’”
Embodied cognition, as Brown explains, is a recent field of study that begins from the assumption that “our cognitive processes are, at their core, sensorimotor, situated, and action-relevant”. As Thalma Lobel, author of Sensation: the New Science of Physical Intelligence, told the ABC in a story on embodied cognition: “Our thoughts, our behaviours, our decisions and our emotions are influenced by our physical sensations, by the things we touch, the texture of the things we touch, the temperature of the things we touch, the colours, the smells. All these, without our awareness, influence our behaviours and thoughts and emotions.”

I could continue to pull excerpts from sources, but at this point it seems like more than enough to get to the point: in order for a machine to be considered to have a soul, with the least question, it would:
- Need to be able to feel, including both physical and emotional, such as robots with their own nervous systems. Human-centered thinkers will argue they feel *differently* because they are *different* but the simple fact will be, they will be able to test electrical responses to feeling things the same way human brains do, and we will be able to see that.
- Can it abstract ideas and think abstractly? This falls in the area of feeling as well, as feelings are also abstract things, but also not the only abstracts to think in.
- They need to be able to relate to, understand, and empathize with other creatures.
- They need to be capable of moving and engaging, especially the world at large, as in having self consciousness of their respective place in the universe, the ability to move and pursue through it.
- Arguably they may need to be “alive”, but this is where it gets tricky, because are things only considered alive if they have a human style heartbeat and breath? Is a plant not alive? What qualifies life? After all, what if it was solar powered and worked to convert its own energy different ways? 
- Develop its own wants and ambitions. (Skynet says hello)

I remember reading a fic, it was bottom Alec admittedly, but one of the things that stuck with me was how it mentioned that he didn't bottom often because it was overwhelming. Which then got me thinking about autistic Alec and sensory overload and maybe that's a thing you'd find interesting and put your own spin on? I don't know.

anyway! i did like this question a lot and i tried to think a little about how autism and kink might intersect for alec specifically
tbh idk if i can give a good take on that because- im a bottom, so jdndudbdidnd. i mean of course I've topped but i think it's fundamentally different to top when thats something that you actually enjoy. like not that i dread topping and just the thought of it makes me cry or something but the pleasure i derive from it is...... way less. and more focused on the other parts of it that arent the act of topping itself
so due to that, i dont really know how topping, like, feels? if it's something that actively gets u hot and that u find enjoyable. so idk if bottoming is truly more overwhelming than topping, like. one of my partners is a Top™ and i think he gets as lost in topping as i get in bottoming, its exciting for him, just thinking about it Does Things to him you know xD and admittedly this partner in particular is a very intense person, with everything, but either way he does seem to feel topping and sex as a top and the pleasure he gets from that very intensely, so idk if it would be accurate to say that bottoming is more overwhelming. i think it depends on a lot of things, including the kind of play ur into - like if ur into denial or overstimulation and the such, definitely, but u dont necessarily are into them just because ur a bottom or even a sub (which, u know, are different things)
and my partners who are verses/switches say that it's different but not really more or less intense. just different
but definitely as a dom you get more control of the sensations, at least touch-wise (not much you can really do about noise, smell etc) so there's that. i also think that for autistic ppl theres frequently that feeling of not having a lot of control over ur life and how ur perceived, understood, etc, so domming can get particularly interesting/pleasurable in that sense. on the other hand, there's also the relief of subbing and getting clear instructions and just completely focusing on the tasks u have. or maybe that's my sub agenda. idk
either way i think being autistic wouldnt really sway anyone in either direction (being kinky or not, top or bottom, sub or dom, being into specific kinks etc) but im not an expert, maybe im wrong lol
but well, if you wanna talk specifically about autistic alec who also happens to be a dom/top and how he experiences that, a few things i think could be interesting:
domspace and hyperfocus: like because everything is so intense, the two can feel kind of similar? you know you get into domspace and it’s like, everything is so centered in the moment, but in like the best way possible? i imagine that for him reaching domspace is kind of even more intense than usual (not in a like... Lost In The Sauce way, where he can’t be aware properly, but it’s just, it’s extra good and it makes him feel grounded and present and like the noise in his head shuts up? he’s just focused on pleasuring his sub everything else kind of melts away and it’s basically just that. great intense pleasure and almost calm feeling, you know? i mean again i’m not a dom but. it’s what i imagine/have heard it feels like i guess)
sensorial issues: adjacent to last one i guess but just like reaching domspace and domming and the pleasure he derives from it kind of muffles the sensorial issues? again because he’s so focused and like, immersed in the feeling it all kind of disappears. also i mean, sex includes a lot of movement so yay to that! especially as i dom i think, if bondage for example is involved. and even if there’s like, a lot of touch and noise and stuff (again, magnus Screams) he kinda has control (again, especially as a dom) of how much stimuli there is and he gets and the fact that he derives pleasure from the noises, touches, etc kind of helps muffle them, if that makes sense? because the inside feelings overpower the outside feelings lmao and it’s like that sensation of floating and domspace and shit makes the actual physical sensations less acute sometimes. at least as a sub i do feel that way sometimes, like the pleasure gets so psychological and great i can’t really feel sensations, just the pleasure itself? so it’s like, id have to focus to be able to tell where exactly my partner is touching me, all i know is that it Feels Very Good. idk if that makes sense, it’s hard to put in words 
feeling in control: i mean i feel like alec feels like he doesn’t have a lot of control over his life (look i know that he’s now in a position of power but even then, like, he’s always having to fight the people above them, you know? and he’s questioned at every damn minute because of his relationship. and for most of his life, he was trained to be a pawn, to the clave and to his parents, and hell, he couldn’t even control who he would marry. most of the time alec is fighting tooth and nail to be listened to, he doesn’t really get easy obedience and i definitely don’t think that he feels like he has a lot of control most of the time, which is why being a dom appeals to him, too. don’t get me wrong i’m not saying he isn’t damn competent and important because if he weren’t he wouldn’t have gotten where he is right now, but he’s not really in a position where everything is in his hands. especially with how much he has to endure and swallow up in his life. i see a lot of meta that’s like “alec’s a sub because he needs to let go of the control” and stuff, and while again, to each their own, i feel like this argument doesn’t really hold up when you look at how much he has to fight to be listened to, and that’s why it’s very appealing to have someone just, obey, and feel like the world is in the palm of his hands, not slipping away? that’s a very long parenthesis. and like not that you need to have a Very Deep Psychological Reason to be into kink but usually those things are linked in some sort of way). and the fact that he’s autistic plays into this, because so much of what he feels just has to be overlooked? he’s always having so suppress and/or deal with overload and the frustration of having to follow a bunch of random social rules and expectations and speak a thousand different languages into one (like body language, facial expressions, etc) and it’s like he always has to be grabbing everything by the seams. plus, obviously, he likes routine and method and predictability. so being a dom, being in control of what happens, being obeyed, knowing exactly what will happen during the scene, having the time to plan it and flesh it out, it just feels particularly good and grounding for him?
and like again im not saying that “wow autistic people are doms” or anything, just talking about how these things might intersect in his personal experience, considering his desires and the specifics of his life, his autism and etc
idk i feel like this answer wasn’t very coherent, or interesting, or good, but it’s what i have to offer fuahfiah thank you for this question tho, it was really nice for me to think about

Western Fitness
I think about many things, as I have many questions about the world that lack answers I find compelling. One I've been seeking an answer to for at least a couple years now, is; what happened to both yoga and pilates in their translation into mainstream western fitness that broke the fundamental tradition of both methods?
This may seem an odd question to find important enough to wonder about year after year, but in the way I saw it, the answer was a deep conduit into an understanding of Eastern versus Western philosophy, culture and I hope you guessed it, (given my blog) tradition.
You see Pilates is a Western methodology developed from studying fitness science, the human body and "gymnastics." I believe J. Pilates was also inspired by Eastern martial arts, but I could be mistaken. However, the whole approach was couched within a Western, rational, conceptual framework. Yoga in contrast is a truly spiritual endeavor, and the true practice is quite different from anything easily understood in the western mind.
Both became bastardized in the mainstream into fad fitness monstrosities, with almost no resemblance to their original forms, but to my specific interest, loosing the impact on the body that true pilates and true yoga have. Both are best characterized as healing practices, taking broken disfunctional bodies and restoring proper movement and muscle alignment in posture. However, the mainstream practices have none of the healing benefits, and just amount to fitness of any kind workouts.
It's been said that yoga was bastardized because the west couldn't understand or adopt the spiritualism of the Eastern approach, however the same can't be said for Pilates, which too was bastardized in the same way. What happened?
I'm writing this because I think I've found the answer. I'll say it straight, but this will take a bit to unpack. The most fundamental western fitness mindset values "muscles that do more-harder" whereas pilates and yoga value "muscles that do better-softer." Said another way, the western mindset fetishizes the sensation of effort.
How many times have we been told to run harder as children, meaning with more effort and power, presumably to create more speed. Compared to how many times we've been told to run lighter, with more spring and better efficiency of movement that stresses the muscles less to perform the same runtime? Our fundamental idea of fitness is to "force adaptation," throwing the word hypertrophy around quite a lot.
Technique is something mechanical, postural, taught and imposed from the outside. Unless of course one is gifted and "a natural." But in truth anyone can learn to be a natural at movement, our bodies are meant for movement, born for it, millions of years of evolution give us the tools of beautiful movement, inside of us.
Pure movement is felt. It feels good. The aim is for us, adults, to reconnect and reattach to that sensation of happy movement we felt as kids. The challenge is to swallow the ego and start way, way smaller than we think or feel is appropriate. Our bodies are broken, our posture is in a dysfunctional pattern. We're trapped in bodies that won't move right, as they don't feel movement in its correct set of sensation. We've been taught to think, and feel fitness wrong.
Effort is the enemy. Everything, even the most intense attempt, should feel easy, at least, the goal should be ease and comfort in every movement. Pain, discomfort, a negative experience during exercise of any kind indicates a place in the body that is not functioning properly. Pleasure indicates something proper and good. But it's not that simple, as we've learned through repetitive training to cross our wires. Unlearning this is up to each of us.
This was the original goal of J. Pilates. To develop a fitness program for proper health and movement. The origin of yogic physical practice was to restore balance in the body. The origin of what I'm calling western fitness is the machismo of sports coaches pushing their protoges to exhaustion. This is why I'm writing about this on this blog. Our negative relationship with our bodies, movement, fitness and the carried bodily pain from childhood trauma and injury is born, it seems, of Excessive Masculinity.
This has been long, and yet I still feel there is a continuing of this message to be done. However it is time to end this.
To strive to become more is fully noble. But to break from one's true self to do so means one never truly achieves the more one aims to reach, no matter how far one goes, or what ones does. If you aren't one in and with yourself when you do what you do, you are as much a bystander as the crowd watching.
Spend more time feeling your body from the inside, savor your life and the vessel you came to it in. Stretch your experience into every muscle. Draw more depth of feeling from your body. Be alive. Let the moment fill you. Act with full force, but also with relaxation and ease, with grace. Gracefulness in Greatness is Masculine.
Be strong, but be better in that strength, not "more." Let your strength guide you to softness in your body, ease, elegance & lightness. Don't be hard or repellent or brutal, unless a singular moment calls for these traits, then be what you must for that moment.

There are three paths in life.
1. It is fundamentally negative.
2. It is fundamentally neutral.
3. It is fundamentally good.
You're likely to walk all these paths, at some point or another. Think hell/purgatory/heaven, or Hekate at the triple crossroads, or the Maiden, Mother, and Crone... whichever triumverate fits your belief system.
Feelings can be physical, as in, bodily sensations, or cognitive, as in, shaped by your thoughts.
Thoughts can evolve and change. There are logical arguments for every catastrophic thought you might have, and logical arguments against.
The goal of meditation, DBT skills, therapy, counselling, even the scientific method, and so on, is to give you the ability to make these arguments yourself. You can cognitively regulate all that arises in the body or mind (allelic dysfunction omitted, because that's where psychiatry and pharmaceuticals come into it).
Say you have chronic pain, and it hurts like hell. This might lead you to believe life is fundamentally bad, and that you want an end sooner rather than later.
Pain can be managed through dissociation. Dissociation can be generated through cognition (or the controlled absence of it). Numbness of feeling leads to relaxation, which leads to the relief of pain, or at least relief from the perception of it.
Relief changes your perception of life. Sustained relief can change it profoundly.
Humans have a cycle to relief. It's a little different for everyone - we call it the circadian (approximately-24-hours) rhythm.
So, feeling the goodness in life requires identifying your cycle.
When do you wake best?
When do you work best?
On what do you work? Does it give you interest and attention?
At what times do you eat, and what do you do with your post-prandial dip (after-eating sleepiness)?
When do you sleep best?
Where do you do all these things?
How much movement do you do in a day?
Are you getting the right balance of macronutrients and micronutrients?
Are you spiritually nourished with a philosphical system(s), as well as physically nourished?
Life can be very difficult when you're young, if you aren't naturally inclined to favour attention to your bodily sensations (e.g. because of traumatic experiences, a neurodivergence, or painful genetic condition like osteoporosis or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome). Instinctively, you'd rather escape your body through cognition. Maybe you stayed up all night reading as a kid, because to try and settle down quietly was uncomfortable or painful, despite an awareness your body needs to sleep.
As kids, we don't have enough information to make the logical arguments to cognitively regulate discomfort and pain, and it's easy to either dwell on them, or dissociate from bodily sensations to a degree where your thoughts are in a spin and your mind can't calm down enough to let the body rest. Obsession vs. distraction.
As adults, we've gathered more information, and the rate of growth and hormonal change has stabilised and become familiar. We also become familiarised with our brains, and the circuits that tend to habitually fire. We get to know ourselves, and recognise our habitual patterns, shaped by the environments we have been given and sought.
Habitual patterns can be changed, once they are noticed. The thought "life is bad" can be countered with "life is good" (and yes, the precursor of "what is bad/good?" is another argument, but let's take it to be Maslow's hierarchy - it is good to self-actualize, and bad to have needs unmet or insufficiently met).
This leads you to a place of cognitive neutrality. It doesn't feel great, but it doesn't feel horrible, either. It's just a question that can be proven or disproven - a null hypothesis.
We don't like being neutral for long. We want proof or disproof of the neutral perspective. Living things want to feel good, as in, have their needs met, giving them the freedom to wander, wonder, and appreciate the beauty in their surroundings.
Over time, once the counterpoint is constructed, a mind makes the argument for life being bad less and less, until a need is unmet. One can get used to needs being unmet and maintain the "right" philosophical standpoint for survival in dire conditions, although it might not feel "good" - this might be described as ascetism. However, one probably shouldn't and won't, where needs can be met - because you have come to know "better," as in, what makes your body specifically feel better.
So, in this manner, health can be managed. OCD can be countered, BPD can be regulated, the worst of some forms of bipolar can be mitigated, anxiety can be relieved, depression can be lifted.
Growing your own neuronal networks and firing the impulses you want to (as well as getting comfortable with the ones you don't) takes time. Plenty of people will try to change you to fit their normal. Part of the process is learning that individual bodies' normals (including memories!) do not always agree, so you should find and talk to the ones who support and add to yours, rather than subtracting from it, and to hold your own when you must speak with a challenge.
That said, it may be the more effective means of coping over pharmaceutical drugs. A highly sensitive body responds better to its endogenous ligand (natural molecule) than a replacement, exogenous ligand from outside. On a physical level, the kinetics of dissociation and association of the endogenous ligand are the body's "normal." We just have to make the impulses work for our wellbeing.
If the "normal" is truly unattainable (significant allelic variation), or temporarily unattainable (environmental hardship, changes in epigenetic expression), an exogenous ligand can be applied. It won't have the same effect, because of differing chemical structures, and this is why we get side effects. The receptors get hit slightly wrong, and the pathways fire a bit funny, which has implications for the rest of your body as well as your mind.
Side effects may be bearable. They may be unbearable. You will form a perception and a judgement of the effect of application of an endogenous ligand, and pick the path that is right for your homeostasis, your maintenance of your understanding of "normal," or to fashion a path that returns you to your "normal" (your best epigenetic expression and physical patterns).
We've got a lot of language for attaining the normal, "right" perspective. There's "feeling right." There's "nirvana." There's possessing the "Sight." There's "recovery." It's all about directing energy flow to your will, and knowing the functional bounds of mind and body (which may not be the actual bounds, say, if you have a connective tissue disorder, or a predisposition to emotional intensity).
So, find the structures you have. Do you know about Wiccan practice? The Christian God? Science? Maths? Literature?
Know your language. All that you know can be related using a series of logical connectives and grammatical structures. Assume there is no mutual exclusivity here, because all of this exists, even if it hasn't been fully explained by science. Even a psychotic or psychedelic experience has basis in the physical reality of matter and energy. Your subjective, internal reality is real, because it is here.
This is hard in English, because it's often structured illogically and still understood, but remember irrationality too is part of an equation. Remember 2πr, from geometry in school? Pi is an irrational number. It's okay, and important, to be irrational sometimes! You'll find the integers, or points, that you require a return to.
