but when he's finally awake he's so hyper. he says the silliest things. repeats the same phrases over and over again and has about zero filter.

most of the time the zero filter has to do with the fact he speaks before he thinks. it even catches himself off guard sometimes.

i feel like this is too long and we haven't even gotten into jean and shawn dynamic so i'm just gonna cut it off here and they’ll get another part i think

Rating dynamics between characters in Dead Boy Detectives that never actually interacted that much or at all, for absolutely no reason.

- Starting off with probably the most reasonable as number one: Charles and Monty.

I absolutely adored the quiet bitchiness between these two. Not a word was said and everyone could see they can't stand each other now make them solve a case together. Bonus points if they actually bond over shitty parents or the fact that they're basically different flavours of the same person. Solid pairing I give it a 7/10 and I would love to see more of them in s2.

- Up next we got number two: Jenny and The Cat King.

I genuinely don't know why everyone is sleeping on this pairing, this is a comedic goldmine and i will not take any criticism on it. I mean...goth & slut is such a funny concept for a duo and I REALLY want the two of them to be forced into solving some kind of minor case. If we want to ramp up the chaotic energy we should absolutely add Maxine into the mix (bonus points if she's a ghost and becomes besties with CK) 9/10 i love it.

- After the strong one let's go with a chill one for number three: Tragic Mick and the dandelion sprites

Just imagine them, in their silly jar on the counter of the shop and trying to insult him and cussing out his customers. Imagine people entering the shop, trying to buy something and being forced to listen to his tragic backstory while getting roasted for their haircut at the same time. Fun concept but not my fav so I'll give it a 5/10.

- For number four we've got: Edwin and Kashi

I feel like this could actually be an incredibly funny combination. All-time-trauma-olympics-winner and Guy-who-got-swallowed-by-a-giant-fish-and-refuses-to-let-it-traumatise-him. The more thought i put into this, the madder i get that this wasn't actually in the show this could have actually had some super interesting influence on Edwins character development and it's a comedic goldmine. Confident 10/10 would love to see it.

- Next up is number five with: Monty and The Night Nurse

Either they would get along great or one of them would start crying. Generally I think they would be a team that Gets Shit Done and I, for one, would love to see it. All in all it's pretty similar to the Niko and NN dynamic tho so I give it a 7/10.

- Number six iiiiisssss (drumroll pls): Night Nurse and The Cat King

I know both of them were mentioned before but fr this is hilarious. Either he would end up dead or she would quit her job immediately, no inbetween. They don't have much conflict besides annoying each other to the death so there aren't that many possibilities to elaborate on the dynamic but it would have been a funny side dialogue in the show. I give it a 7/10 (bonus points if we throw crystal into the mix, simply because she would enjoy frustrating the shit out of the other two and I need that kind of content in my life).

- Last but not least with number seven, we've got Esther and Maxine

I feel like they would become best friends. They would get along ✨flawlessly✨. Not necessarily because they have much in common but simply because they match each others freak and would feel very validated. Imagine them, having a girls night and gossiping about crazy shit they did due to a relationship gone wrong. Honestly flawless I would have loved seeing Maxine as an evil goon. (Bonus points if she ends up getting a crush on Esther, who thinks it's incredibly entertaining). Can't find any minus point in this so I'll give it a 10/10.

RANT POST (it’s really long but I need advice and I also just needed to get this off my mind so enjoy lol).

So there’s this guy that I was talking about in my last post at my school and I need to rant about him because he’s so cute istggghggg. (For the sake of his privacy, I’m calling him B) so for some backstory, I’m new to this school this year and I he’s been at this school for at least a year and has friends and stuff. Our story starts on the first day of school he sat behind me in Spanish and my Spanish teacher said “now we don’t want B to touch Rosie’s hair” just as an example and he said “damn, she really thinks I can pull” (or sum like that idk) and I’m like ok? But then the next day I started catching feelings because he kept making eye contact and smirking at me and just looking at me in class. Then when we were about to go outside everyone was looking towards the lockers and I was looking tears the door and he was in front of me and he turned with a straight face then made eye contact with me and smiled and I almost dieddddd. After that we had Spanish again (this is the next day) and I needed to get something from my bag behind me and his desk was blocking me so he tilted his desk back and smiled at me so I could get my folder out. Then I was getting my seat to bring out to the hallway for an assembly and I was talking to my friends and he just smirked at me and his eyes followed me the whole way. And in line to walk away from the assembly me and my friends didn’t know what to do so we just waited for everyone else to go in front of us and he passes us and gave me thet iconic smirk eye contact thingy again. Again at Spanish he moved his desk back again even though there was more room to get my folder and just did the patented “B smirk 5000”. (Oh also how many aura points did I loose because I asked the teacher if I could go to the restroom before he got there and I sprinted to my locker to put on perfume, lipgloss, and take some mints and he didn’t even get to class for like 10 minutes)

Fast foward to science class I was sitting down and he sits in front of me to my right and he was talking to his friend right in front of me and i was staring at him (I’m just a girl) and he made eye contact with me and smiled and my hearttttt. And in the hallway he made a small comment to someone else like “oh I didn’t go with my parents because I went to church” and I’m catholic so when I tell you my heart exploded I mean it. Then we were writing something in groups and each group had to pick one person to represent that group so we can make one paper as a class and me and him were each a group representative. And we were reading the papers and when he was done and I was still reading he was just staring at me with a smile and just joking around with me. Then I was writing the final paper the teacher said sun like “does it naturally flow or you gonna make it flow” and j said “I’m making it flow” and everyone bursted out laughing especially B and I was like saying shut up but flirty yk (this is pretty much the first time we ever talked but the chemistry was off the charts fr) And then the other boys started taking the joke a bit too far and mind you these were his friends for at least a year and he’s kinda popular and he looked at them and said “guys stop it just let her write” while smirking at me. THIS MAN, WHO IVE PRETTY MUCH NEVER TALKED TO, JUST DEFENDED ME IN FRONT OF HIS FRIENDS THAT HES KNOWN FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH And the other boys were like “sorry” and stuff even tho it was just a joke it wasn’t a big deal and I was laughing. And then I read the paper and he was looking over at me and he said “you made it flow” and we went back and fourth joking like that for a few minutes (and he was blushing a little but which was just so cute) and he looked at my paper, which was in cursive and then said “so now can you write that in English?” (Playfully, bc he can’t read cursive) and we were laughing and stuff and he said the paper I made was good. Then I wrote down the homework on a sheet of paper and he walked back towards me (which is out of his way because we were leaving and I’m farther away from the door then he is) and he said “you’re making that flow” and I was just giggling bc ahahahaha. Then today in history i was running to get to class so I was sweating and fanning myself with my folder and he was just watching me like i looked like a mess but he just kept looking over at me.

Then fast forward to Spanish i got my folder again and I had all the room i could even need to get my folder and he still moved his desk and I looked at him and smiled this time to say thank you and he started to say you’re welcome but he cut out half way thru and kinda giggled and blushed (ITS SO DAMN CUTE WHEN GUYS DO THIS) and the teacher called on him for attendance and I was still grabbing my folder and he forgot what to say so I started laughing and he just looked down at me and said “i didn’t make that flow” and I started laughing more. Then we had to do a interview thingy in our Spanish lesson and after he went i leaned over to whisper to him “you made that flow” and he started laughing again. And our Spanish teacher brought up what she said the first day In class about B touching my hair (she just used us as an example because we were right next to her) and istg she’s the captain of our ship at this point. And we kept making eye contact and smiling. Okay I think that’s it. So sorry for the rant but I really just needed to get all of that off my chest and I need to know (if you red this far which I doubt) if he likes me bc I think he does but I’m also extremely delulu. Also what should I do like I don’t want to mess this up like I did in the past (we don’t talk about that) but I just need some help.

“mornin’, baby.” nami greets you, brushing a piece of hair away from your face. you smile, putting your hand over hers, holding it to your face and leaning into her touch.

“good morning.” you greet her sleepily. “how long have you been up?”

nami shrugs, genuinely not knowing. watching you tended to blur hours and minutes together for her, all the time in the world not feeling like enough to take in your beauty. “everyone else is still asleep. it’s just us.”

“we better rest up before luffy wakes up.” you tell her. “not a moment of peace with that one.”

Rolling his eyes, as he always found himself in the middle of their flirting, (Y/N) sighed and looked around. He spotted his older sister and her friends and decided it was time to leave the conversation (not that he was much part of it in the beginning).

"I'll see you guys later, yeah? I've got to go ask Hermione something," he cut Cooper off, not that he really cared.

"Oh, see you (Y/N)!" Cooper waved him off as he walked.

"I'll save you a seat at dinner!" Rylie called before turning back to Cooper.

Approaching the frizzy haired sixth year, (Y/N) waved to her.

"Hey 'Mione!"

"(Y/N), I thought you had Astronomy?" Hermione asked, gearing up to scold him for skipping a period.

"No, I had it just barely, it's my free period now. Cooper and Rylie are at it again so I figured I'd join you guys. Harry, Ron," he nodded to them in greeting.

"(Y/N)," Ron greeted back with a smile, Harry vaguely waving as he stared at someone across the courtyard.

"They're still at it?" Hermione questioned, looking back down at her book and twirling her quill. "You just need to tell them they like each other."

"It doesn't work like that, 'Mione. Cooper is in love with Rylie so he jokingly flirts with her because he thinks that's how he'll win her heart, but Rylie thinks they're just that; jokes! I think it's best to just leave them to figure it out on their own," (Y/N) replied, sitting on the bench next to Hermione and Ron, trying to avoid Harry (who was sitting on the ground in front of the bench for some reason).

"Love is so stupid," Hermione scoffed, shaking her head and writing something on her parchment.

"I don't know, it could be kind of fun!" Ron shrugged, looking at (Y/N). (Y/N) turned to look at him but Ron turned before he could get caught.

"How would you know?" Harry laughed, patting his friends shoe.

"Oh, what do you know about love, Harry?"

"Not enough..."

Leaning over to whisper to Ron, (Y/N) looked Harry up and down.

"What's up with him?" (Y/N) whispered.

"I dunno, I've been trying to pry it out of him for days, but no luck."

Whatever Harry had been looking at didn't seem to hold his interest anymore as he turned around to face his friends on the bench.

"(Y/N), you're really good at transfiguration, right?"

"What isn't he good at?" Ron asked rhetorically, missing (Y/N)'s surprised look.

"McGonagall loves you," Harry went on, Hermione hesitantly looking up from her book as she caught on to what he was saying.

"Um, I s'pose. Why?" (Y/N) replied with a head tilt.

"We need your help with something-"

"Are you sure we should be wrapping him up in all this?" Ron asked, his question going unheard.

"Meet us under the staircase by the One-Eyed-Witch statue after dinner, alright?" Harry continued.

"Uh... okay?" (Y/N) agreed, unsure as to what they'd need a fifth year for.

"You really don't have to if you don't want to," Ron reassured him, shaking his head at Harry's eagerness.

"It would help us loads, I know how you are with transfiguration, but Ron's right. Come if you want, it's okay if you don't," Hermione put a comforting hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

"I'll be there," (Y/N) shrugged.

"So, what do you need my help for?" (Y/N) asked as he got close enough to the trio under the staircase.

"We've planned this prank for Malfoy-"

"Hermione, you're planning a prank?" (Y/N) asked his sister incredulously, kind of impressed.

"I didn't want to but you know how I am with Malfoy," was her response.

"The point is we need a specific transfiguration spell that takes a lot of skill and concentration," Harry informed.

"Why can't Hermione do it?"

It was silent for a moment when Ron spoke up, "Because you're better than her at transfiguration."

With raised eyebrows, (Y/N) turned to his sister.

Hermione let out a sigh and rolled her eyes, "It's true. I've never told you but you are better than me at transfigurations, and I can't do the spell."

"Alright what's the spell?" (Y/N) chuckled.

Harry handed him a piece of paper with the information on it.

"Just look into it and practice it, we'll need you in a week," Harry told him, patting him on the shoulder. "Thanks, mate."

"It's not like I've got anything better to do." (Y/N) shrugged.

"Harry, look," Hermione whispered to her friend, pointing up the stairs. Whatever they saw had them running up them, but (Y/N) and Ron stayed where they were.

"A prank on the Slytherins, huh?" (Y/N) laughed as he put the slip of paper into his bag.

"Yeah, just Malfoy acting like the ferret he is," Ron joked back, leaning against the wall. (Y/N) joined him there, twiddling his thumbs.

Ron rubbed the back of his neck, glancing over at (Y/N) nervously.

"I've been thinking about what we were talking about the other day, in the courtyard..." Ron trailed off.

"What, Cooper and Rylie?"

"Yeah, the love thing. And I was wondering... have you ever been in love?"

Taken aback, (Y/N) blinked and gulped, trying to think.

"Uhm... I'd like to think so."

Ron nodded for a bit, looking deep in thought.

"Did they love you back?"

"I'm not sure... I haven't done anything about it. Yet."

"Oh. Well, what does it feel like?"

(Y/N) hummed in thought, "It hurts. I'm not sure if it's just because I don't know if he likes me back, or if being in love just hurts like this, but it hurts."

"'He'?"

(Y/N) nodded, looking at his shoes.

"Being in love, at least for me, is thinking about them. Not all of the time like some people say, but whenever you're life pauses for a moment... like you're outside and suddenly everything but the breeze stops and the sun is setting, it's tranquil. And the only thing I can think is that I want him there with me. Or when I make myself coffee I wonder how he likes his, or if he prefers tea instead...

And when he talks to me my heart feels like it's running right out of my chest, and I'm just so sure that my face is on fire, because that's what it feels like." (Y/N) turned to Ron, taking a deep breath.

"Have you ever been in love?"

Ron slowly cupped (Y/N)'s cheek, looking into his eyes to make sure it was okay. When he didn't object he took his hand with his free one and leaned in until their lips barely touched.

"I think so."

(Y/N) leaned forward and sealed the kiss, his free hand holding Ron's elbow. Their lips moved together, a partnership that would change their friendship forever. Ron couldn't believe he was doing this, not that he was thinking about much other than how sweet (Y/N) tasted on his lips, the cider on his mouth still lingering after dinner.

Butterflies swarmed (Y/N)'s stomach, violent and harsh compared to the daydream people write about.

"(Y/N)?" Hermione shouted as she walked down the stairs. "Ron?"

The boys gasped and pulled apart, (Y/N) wiping at his mouth before turning towards Hermione, clearing his throat.

He knew he looked like he'd just been making out with his big sisters best friend, but would she know that?

"Yeah, Hermione?" (Y/N) tried to hide the tremor in his voice.

"Aren't you two coming? Harry's run off after the Hufflepuff girl again and I can't find him."

"We'll help you look," Ron agreed, nodding and running a had through his hair.

Hermione looked them up and down suspiciously for a moment, but turned around eventually anyways.

Not knowing what to do, or say, the boys silently followed after her- not looking at each other.

Beginner Tips : Wuthering Waves

I want to compile informations that I thought useful or I have missed the first time I play WuWa and only realized after my friend mentioned it to me.

1. Shilang is a shop owner in Tiger's Maw mine that sell a lot of useful things including a 4* weapon selector (the currency : Lampylument ore)

2. When you mine in other player's world, both you and the other player received the ore. No matter how far apart you guys were. That's why I used to mine together with my friend, I went to pick lampylument and he would pick the red ore. So it get done quicker. (This doesn't work for any other resources tho, as far as I know)

3. Idk since when, but you actually can create weapon exp and echo exp in synthesizer. Just for a small amount, but better than nothing I guess.

4. Uncle Wei, in front of craft station, sell some material for weapon/forte upgrade. Sadly, it didn't reset.

5. For faster mining, I used Calcharo to mine. He need only 1 hit to break the ore. Jiyan need 2. Basically use broadblade user to mine faster. BUT, Changli also just need 1 hit (her BA1 slash multiple times).

5.1. After version 1.2 , we have a new utility Hoverdroid, you can use it to mining faster as well. Just need one shoot per ore, much more like using broadblade user but better since now you can even mining from afar.

6. Don't build too many character. Resources are pretty limited here. If you ended up with all half assed teams, it's going to be hard going forward. I stick with 2 teams until UL 55 I guess? Before building my 3rd team (after getting Changli) and now this 3rd team sucked me dry fr, I'm UL 61 now, with 40k shell credit and no other resources lol.

7. Do illusive realms. No matter how suck you're at it. You can get a lot of materials upgrade there. Just do it slowly, since you can save your progress anyway (you need to quit properly tho, tap door icon > save progress. If you just quit or disconnected the progress won't be saved and you won't get any score).

8. You can skip Scar's story telling if you insist on attacking him. Attack him, attack him, attack him. Be aggressive. Beat his ass immediately. Lol.

9. Animals have a much lower def than Tacet discord. And Goat have lower def than Cow. You want to showcase your burst damage to your friends? Go find a goat...and use your ult. You will see big number. BUT I'M NOT PROMOTING ANIMAL ABUSE OKAY, don't be cruel towards animals irl guys, don't. That's horrible. We do this in game because we need the meats to cook. Yes, definitely that.

10. Talking about Cook, every recipes have a certain level of proficiency. Each time you make the recipe it will increase the number until it doesn't lol.

After reaching the maxed proficiency, the recipe you cook won't increase your chef level anymore. Go cook another recipe.

11. The same with Research point in Synthesizer as well.

12. Let's talk about echo. If you're a new player, save all the echo you got until you reach data base lv 15. Then you can combine it for a chance to get 5* echo. Or if you patient enough, wait until you reach data bank 21. The chance getting 5* become 100%. But fighting mobs without equipping any echo is quite tiring, so... just do it if you think you can.

12.1. If you finish hunting all 5* echoes but somehow haven't enough experience to reach 21, go check your guide book and see Milestone, one of the rewards is actually data bank experience.
