J2 at NJcon pt. 1:

I’ve been trying to fit enough of the key highlights into this post which has proven to be an incredibly difficult feat since there were just SO many damn highlights, but I did I what I could, so let’s dive on in to the beautiful J2 ocean of husbanding that was NJcon!

Starting with:

-the topic of the shower apparently being the only place Jared sings and a fan then wanting to know if Jensen had heard Jared sing and if he (Jensen) thought that there was any chance of Jared ever singing for the public.

Jensen (while rubbing Jared’s shoulder, necessary touching, also after having just called Jared the songbird of our generation): “Voice of an angel.”

Which, pssst, reminded me of-

Jensen (about Jared): “Isn’t he an angel, ladies and gentlemen?” ❤️❤️❤️

Jensen then went on to tell us that Jared’s thing is really more to sing along with songs that are already playing, which yes Jensen has heard.

And my follow-up question is:

-heard...in the shower? Some tunes playin’ from their waterproof speaker while Jared sings along and Jensen washes his back?

Because I’m going with that visual allllll the damn way.

And I mean, it’s not like someone hasn’t already mentioned the two of them showering together. Who was that again? Cliff? I don’t remember. I’ll re-find the details.

Annnyway...

In response to the whole getting Jared to sing for the public thing-

Jensen: “It might be a longer road working on him to come out-“

Me: *doubletake*

“-out of the bathroom.”

Ahhhh. Gotcha.

The conversation wrapped up with Jensen sharing the fact that Jared loses muscle control and the ability NOT to sing whenever a Pearljam song comes on, and Jared responded by adorably whispering this to Jensen with an endearing, loving, doting, smitten-as-hell smile-

“Fucker.”

Of course Jared was also thinking about Jensen’s dick again that day (isn’t he always??), and it became more than obvious to absolutely everyone during this bit of conversation-

Fan (to Jensen): “Was there a growing awareness that, wow, this was getting bigger and bigger?”

Jared (while wrapping his arm around Jensen’s lower back, necessary touching): “Tell us about your growing awareness, Jensen.”

Smirkety-smirk.

It was a tough mental image for him to let go of.

He was still thinking about his hubby’s growing dick getting bigger and bigger in the below GIF lol.

It’s okay, Jared. We understand.

Plus, soo much more smitten-kitten-Jared!

To save space, I’ll just pick one more of my favorite moments, but man...there are so many to choose from...

Yep. This is the one. Blushy, flirty, and fiddling with his hair in his ‘I’m ridiculously twitterpated’ kind of way.

And it was a tactile-Jared day as well! He was definitely in a ‘touchy-touches-for-my-hubby’ state of mind.

That thumb caress though...

-and the complete lack of even the tiniest bit of personal space....as is the patented J2 way, of course.

And wait we can’t forget about tease-Jared!

Jensen was SO close to smacking that padabooty. His hand even moved to do it before he was like oops, probably should restrain myself. Mmm...can’t blame him for being tempted! And he certainly indulged in some lingering stares which I will be documenting with more GIFs of in a part-2 post. You know...for science...

Also, a funny thing is that Jared bent over all seductively right before the time in the above GIF too but then realized Jensen wasn’t noticing and waited to do it a second time jussst to be a tease. Hehe.

Okay and let’s take a moment of silence to appreciate the beauty of this lovingly-possessive J2 embrace:

Damn it there’s SO MUCH MORE to cover. Why??? I’m gonna have to get picky and choosey.

Aww, how about when Jared was talking about people missing Jensen the night before and was all like-

“I always miss you. I was with you...but I just...”

And then he got so emotional even just thinking about what if he hadn’t been with Jensen that he had to go over and hug him.

Gah!!!!!

That is some next level attachment. And might I add-

EXCUSE ME, SIRS. YOU HAVE BEEN HUSBANDING AROUND ALL OVER THE PLACE AND IT IS AMAZING.

The perfect way to end this, because I was saving the best for last....

Jensen (to Jared): “Giddyup, big-boy.”

Jensen just walks riiiight on in there, huh? Certainly not as close as he’s gotten a few other times...

....but still! And the staring and the way his hand is trying so hard to touch? Perfect.

Another fantastic one to add to the ever-growing pile. And seriously...I shit you not, I have so many of these saved. Just....SO many. It’s wonderful.
