Guys, what I feared ever since issue #62 happened! Ever since we saw Clean Sweep Inc., I thought it could have been a reference to Operation: Clean Sweep in Archie. I made posts about this! Twice!

With the airship coming down, and no way to stop the self-destruct, Jewel suggests landing it away from Central City. By Restoration HQ!

No! Not Silver’s garden! 😫 But it gets worse!

With people still there, that would still lead to casualties. As devastating as it is, it would still be less than what would if it continued on its current course.

Thankfully, they have the world’s fastest hedgehog! Sonic manages to get the gang together to save everyone inside. They need to be fast, and thankfully they got just the team and power for it!

And while the Restoration building is gone, all the inhabitants are safe. (And so is the garden! 😮‍💨) That’s what really matters. They managed to pull through after the Metal Virus, and they pulled through here as well. That’s what makes them strong.

There are some parallels with Archie Sonic here. Knothole being destroyed by Eggman, and there was irreparable damage to some, but everyone survived. And like I pointed out before, with the near downfall of the Freedom Fighters, we came close here as well. But everyone, not just the heroes, but all contributed to save the day from the worst possible outcome. It will take time to rebuild and repair, but we know they can recover from this.
