Week 6

First off I want to apologize to everyone for this being a little later than usual. I’ve had a pretty hectic week with family, work, and planning a vacation I’m taking this month. Which by the way I’m at the end of this month there is going to be a week with no real update. I’m having someone I trust keep an eye on my babies, but I wont be able to really give a progress update from out of the country.

Now to the juicy stuff that you all care about. Which honestly is probably a bit lack luster because there isn’t really much to report about. Overall my temps, humidity and all that jazz have been stable and I think I can finally say I’ve diverted my nutrient burn issues I was having before, but I’ll go a little more in depth with that in a moment.

Shaman Strain

So by far the Shaman (sativa) strain has done the overall best. The growth on Sam (nickname) has been very strong and a nice deep green color. He clearly wants to grow tall and plentiful. It actually got to the point where I had no choice, but to FIM him to keep him growing any taller. I need him to get wide and bushy.

Aurora Strain

Shelby has me kind of confused if I am totally honest with you all. I do believe she is growing really well since the incident of snapping. She has pushed all her energy across the rest of her vegetation. Some days I feel like she “looks” happy and other days not so much. Her color is a slightly lighter green which I cannot tell if that is because of the strain or if it’s an issue on the horizon. So I’m playing it by ear in that respect.

Epilepsy medication can be a strange thing, We can be doing great, we can be seizure free. Then suddenly the seizures sneak up and attack, And the seizures are so numerous we cease to really be.

For people unfamiliar with our medicine, It may not seem like such a big deal. There are a lot of different medications, Surely one of them will be able to change the way we feel.

But for those of us who have tried them all, This feeling of impending doom is very real. We know with each different kind of medicine, There is a price to pay and it will effect the way we feel.

Will this new medicine cause me to gain weight? Or will it make me lose my ability to ever feel alert? Will it cause my glands to enlarge and swell? Or will it be able to stop the seizures, will it really work?

Such questions we have for these medications we need, Once we finally get used to the side-effects it seems we must make a change. It feels like starting over, the outcome is never very clear, I wonder if the new medication will help, I wonder if it will make me feel strange?

For those of us in search of some semblance of control, We respect the ongoing research, because it represents our hope. But in the meantime we will settle for even a few seizure-free days, And pray that God will continue to give us the strength to cope.

April 20, 2021. I mean, what a date, right? 420 is such a large number in the lives of my canna-fam. However, 4/20/* has tended to be a milestone throughout the years of my life.

I ventured from a young man into adulthood with a lovely lady. We were happy, and life was good. Unfortunately, I was in a tragic accident in 2008. The man that the world had known before the event was no more. (James Matthew Cruce or Matt fell from his wall, took a great fall, and never put back together again.)

However, I am James! And James is Great! I was able to claw my way back from the confines of my mind, a prison that had all its doors unlocked, devoid of guards, and unfamiliar to even myself. I could only imagine the horror of sharing a reality with an entity you do not know or ask to be there. Every day must have been like a sentence being served by her also, but I digress.

Ideas for Growing Weed Outdoors without drawing unwanted attention

Growing marijuana outdoors has some incredible benefits, including the availability of free light. Light is like food for cannabis plants and during the flowering stage, the amount of bud produced is directly proportional to the amount of light the plant receives (especially at the bud locations). The plant is converting light energy into buds.

Sunlight provides free energy for growing cannabis plants so there is no need to spend money to power your grow lights!

Indoor growers have to provide all their own light, typically by using specialized grow lights. However, grow lights produce heat and use a lot of electricity, and indoor grow rooms need a space that’s easily hidden to visitors yet has easy access to water.

When it comes to outdoor growing, instead of setting up the grow room, your job is to pick the perfect place to grow you some weed. This is one of the most important things you can do not only for your plant’s health but also for stealth and security!

Not only is this extremely not stealthy, but the light from the window will also likely prevent the plant from flowering (creating buds). Light pollution is a common problem when growing outdoors on your own property. Plants need complete darkness at night to start making buds!
