All consoles I've had! My favorite one is the 'new 3DS XL', by far. Which one is yours?

My O3DSxl (left) and New 3DSxl (right). I've had these both for a couple of years. The old 3ds is a hand me down, and the new 3ds is one I bought second hand for about 50 quid. I've modded them both, but I mainly use the old 3ds mainly just because it's the one I'm most attached to. I mainly use the New 3Ds as a PS1 emulator since the O3ds can't emulate ps1. I'm saving up to get a refurbished PS Vita for Christmas =)

Roku- N64 Rep

Party loving and a collector of many items! She lives in a castle with rooms dedicated to each of her collections. Her home is often messy so she has to clean every time she has guests over. Some of her collections include paintings, puzzles, power ups, among many others. Lives with her twin N64 DD. A cheerful girl.

Indy- Gamecube Rep

Laid back and loves the water! Many see her as childish. Before her generation started Indy had a huge ego and thought she would be the best by simply being a Nintendo console. But with the way things went, she has calmed down since then. Now she spends her days leisurely at the beach or just hanging around her house. She likes horror movies.

Rev- Wii Rep

Confident, extroverted, and cocky. She's friends with almost everyone and can be found playing sports, going to parties, can be found at any social event. Wishes for everyone to stay active and healthy! Thinks of herself as the best console and overshadows many of her sisters, especially her twin Yuuta...

Wow, Nintendo announced they'll reveal their next console in the next 10 months just like that? HYPE! Also, we got confirmation of a Nintendo Direct this June, yay!

Imagine they reveal the next Zelda game alongside the console, lol. Idk, it would be cool.

Two week ago I buy a Dsi because I miss my games, although they are from a R4 in Venezuela the price for the games was something any thief would be proud so the r4 was the safe option.. amazingly my R4 of 2016 is still alive so today in Spain I just put it in my new Dsi and-

I just notice that I have the whole game experience smiling and just notice it because my cheeks start to hurt… is feel like coming Home.

Now I’m going to play mystery dungeon after years.

I forgot the thrill of getting a console for Christmas

I had to wait until everyone else was done with their gifts to open mine, and when I did, I got the New Horizons-themed Switch Lite. I literally started bawling because HOLY SHIT I was not expecting that. so now I'm sitting waiting on New Horizons to download and crying because not only was it a really expensive and thoughtful gift, but it's my first Nintendo console. I had a Wii, but it wasn't bought just for me or even for me to begin with. but now I have a console where I can play my first ACTUAL LEGIT Pokemon game and the feeling is so amazing.

big shoutout to my big sister who heard me briefly mention wanting a Switch two years ago and remembered that I wanted one

Hello Tumblr I found this magnificent relic for €30 the other day.

crazy looking at my older nintendo consoles and knowing that they all work (well, the DSi is worse for wear but yaknow, it still turns on)

Like I still have a functioning Game Boy Color with the Atomic (transparent) Purple body, with the original batteries I think. Those puppies aren't even corroded, and I know they've been in there for at minimum 5 years.

I also have one of the red Game Boy Advance that in the process of making this post I realized was Canadian. It also happens to work and is still at least a little bit charged. Don't have any of the games right now tho.

The DSi is one of the light blue models, no stylus, damaged top screen (primarily visual damage to the actual display), no downloaded games, the OG Flipnote app, and that's about it. It's at least old enough that the info on the back says "Patents issued and pending, see booklet." I'd love to restore the top screen and mod it but I don't have that expertise.

I do OWN a 3DS as well but I don't have it right now. It's in a box with my other DS games in a storage unit in Iowa, and I need to find time to get that back. I wanna play Tomodachi Life again. and my Xbox One :(

Fami- Famicom Representative

A motherly woman who is good with families. She watches over the other consoles and gives them guidance when asked. Her advice may not apply to the modern world though. She is not good with money, thanks to her secret gamboling habit. A gamer in more ways than one!

Nessy- NES Rep

Fun loving and active. As the counterpart to Fami, Nessy was the representative for the American market. During her generation she claimed to not be a 'video game console' but as time went on everyone saw her as one. Now she does not mind being grouped in with other consoles. Loves toys, especially toy robots.

Famibo- Super Famicom Rep

Serious and business savvy. She oversees the funds of the company. Is kind to the players but harsh to anyone inside the industry. Is used to getting what she wants and is rarely willing to compromise. She used to oversee all business deals during her generation but after a certain 'incident' she stepped down from this position. While she does not play games very often, her taste is eccentric.

Snessy- Super NES Rep

A confident and competitive girl! Is friendly to everyone and just wants to show off her games. During her generation she was the regional rep for the American market much like her older sister Nessy. For this reason Snessy gets along well with her older sister.
