More Headcanons about FSM family
10#
As a child, Lloyd resembled his father, only he had a different hair color, but as he grew older, he began to look less and less like his father (seasons 2-7). In seasons 8-15 he started to look more like his grandfather when he was Lloyd's age until in season 16 he looked identical to FSM (When FSM was a teenager, of course) (apart from the eyes, FSM had one purple and the other gold)
11#
In some flashbacks we see FSM wielding a sword, so I say that FSM is a master swordsman, and considering that Lloyd became the second master of spinjitzu (The Ultimate Spinjitzu Master) in total and was supposed to learn FSM's fighting style, which brings us to the fact that Lloyd is a master swordsman, because in the series we only see him using a sword (I don't remember him fighting with any other weapon), so the best sword master was FSM (no one can match him then or now) and right behind him in second place is Lloyd.
12#
After season 10 and "Lloyd's death", Wu has nightmares that Lloyd didn't wake up, that they really lost him, every time he is terrified and goes to check if Lloyd is okay, Wu can't lose the last member of his family. One time when Wu went to check on Lloyd, he wasn't in the room and Wu almost had a panic attack, he searched around the monastery until he found Lloyd in the kitchen as soon as he saw him he ran to Lloyd and hugged him and didn't want to let go, while Lloyd was completely confused and a little scared, later they talked about it and from then on, Lloyd began to be more careful during missions so as not to give his uncle a heart attack.
13#
Lloyd, due to his heritage and elemental powers, is strongly connected to ninjago, if something threatens the land he can feel it, when all dimensions merged Lloyd felt great pain due to the ninjago lands being torn apart. After the fusion, he realized that because of this event he had scars on his chest that looked like cracks.
14#
Lloyd's golden power hurt him when he fought the Overlord, he didn't feel it because of the adrenaline, but later it turned out that the golden power was too powerful for Lloyd's body (mainly because of his human part) so after the fight he realized that it was on his hands (from his hands to his shoulders) scars appeared that looked like they had been struck by lightning, they were golden in color and when Lloyd used his power they began to glow. Lloyd, of course, didn't tell anyone and he just started traveling around ninjago to learn how to control it better and see if his body gets used to it. Lloyd still has those scars to this day and come on the golden power is gone the scars still glow when he uses his elemental power but this time in green.
15#
After becoming the Golden Ninja, Lloyd received many powers and improvements, for example, his healing became faster, he had greater endurance and improved senses but one of the strangest changes was that the blood turned gold, yes Lloyd had golden blood.
16#
Lloyd is literally the reincarnation of FSM, he has his powers, he can do what he does and he is a perfect hybrid (a combination of Oni, dragon and human) same as FSM (only FSM wasn't human but still a perfect hybrid).
17#
Due to his heritage and being the next incarnation of FSM, he has perfected Spinjitzu and uses it often in his fighting style (I don't know if it's just me, but Lloyd seems to use Spinjitzu more than the others)
18#
Due to the power he has and his connection to Ninjago, Lloyd when angry can cause cracks in the ground or mini earth tremors, which are usually harmless but still need to be careful, that's why Lloyd has the best composure of all the ninjas (well, except Zen)

Lost Potential with Ninjago's Wildbrain Seasons
Let me start this off with a question. When looking at the Wildbrain seasons, from Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu to Crystalized, what do you believe is the common theme connecting all of them?
I'm sure there are many answers to this question, but the common theme that I noticed a while back was that each part had a major focus on one of the Ninja and their Elemental Powers. Or at least they did at some point during their development.
Allow me to explain. Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu is split up into two halves, the Fire and Ice chapter, which corresponds to Kai and Zane and their powers being usurped by villains, Kai by force and Zane through manipulation. Master of the Mountain covers Cole and his connection to the Earth and Seabound covers Nya and her connection to the Water. Crystalized doesn't really cover Lloyd's Elemental Powers (whatever the hell they are) but it does feature heavily his heritage and the abilities it grants him, which is a whole other can of worms that I'll probably write about later. Finally, during Prime Empire's development, Jay's mother was originally going to play a pivotal role in this season, and also presumably the Element of Lightning as well. There is also the 4 episodes of The Island, but I think of that as more of a prologue to Seabound than its own season.
By now you've probably connected the dots as to what exactly this "lost potential" is. How cool would it have been to have the Fire and Ice chapters gone in depth about how Kai and Zane felt about and controlled their powers to the extent of Seabound and MotM did? Or if it delved deeper into Jay's Lightning powers and his desire for a relationship with his birth mother, and how those feelings conflict with his love for his adopted parents? Or if Crystalized didn't chicken out at the last moment, and Lloyd actually got to use that cool ass Oni form?
But they didn't. At the very least, Dragons Rising seems to be focusing more on Elemental Powers than ever, which is something I know many of the fans are really grateful for.
In lieu of that, here are some head-cannons and ideas for the Ninja's powers that we didn't get in the show:
Kai is very well known for getting in his own way due to believing that he is the "main character" of sorts. This main character syndrome he experiences causes him to subconsciously expect that everything will go his way with him putting in minimal effort. This directly conflicts with what his Fire powers rely on. Passion, ambition, and desire. This is why his powers always gets stronger when he's helping other people, because it reacts to his passion and desire to protect those he cares about.
I like to think that Zane didn't work quite right until he became the Master of Ice. Computers produce a lot of heat, and if not properly cooled then they are prone to malfunctions and damage from overheating. Dr. Julien had that same problem when creating Zane, but when the previous Master of Ice found Zane and saw potential in him that he liked, ha passed his power to the robot. After that, Zane's overheating problem disappeared and he was able to take the first steps to becoming someone who protects those who cannot protect themselves.
Lightning is the result of two forces seeking to find balance. When positive charges and negative charges accumulate inside a cloud, the atmosphere initially acts as an insulator, but when the charges become too great, lightning strikes to release all that energy at once, and when it does it finds the path of least resistance. This idea is a bit more loose and not as well thought out due to me not having a firm idea of how to better improve Prime Empire in general, but I think it would be a cool idea if Jay's love for his adopted parents and Jay's desire to have a relationship with his birth mother were the two forces accumulating inside Jay during the events of Prime Empire. The Ninja, his friends, would act as his insulator, but as they disappeared one by one, the dichotomy would grow inside him until he released it all during the final fight with Unagami. Unagami may not deserve the unbridled wrath of a thunderbolt, but he's right there and Lightning always takes the path of least resistance, whether or not its justified.
Lloyd is very accepting and in touch with his dragon heritage, but not so much with his Oni side due to his father being only resurrected with his Oni half. He has seen first-hand what uncontrolled anger and hatred can do to someone, and he's scared of using that power. But the thing is, under the right circumstances, anger is a good thing. It allows us to see the injustices around us and gives us the drive to fight against it. Upon realizing this, he finally comes to term with his entire heritage and allows him to unlock the power of the Golden Oni. The colors of the Dragons and the form of the Oni unite to create a greater power, it is the embodiment of Righteous Fury. That is how the overlord should have been defeated in Crystalized. The Golden Ultra-Dragon can still help, but this would have been much cooler than what we actually got.
And those are some of the thought I have that would've improved the Wildbrain seasons. If you have any ideas or opinions about the Ninja's Elemental Powers or what you would do to improve those seasons, feel free to let me know, I always love hearing the ideas of others!

If I rewrote/fixed plot holes in Ninjago Pilots:
They're actually not that bad for a beginning, but I would change a few things:
-I'll not question blacksmith being a career that could provide for two teens, but the fact that Kai seems to be a bad one does not sit right with me.Especially since the issue with the curled sword was not his impatience but the size of the water bucket used(I think)
-Wu being "I told you so,useless" to Kai after Nya is captured.Replace that with sympathy maybe? It would make sense as Wu knows what it's like to lose a family member and is wise enough to understand that Kai is distraught
-Give better reasoning for trusting the map to Ray than Wu fearing his death bc knowing the lore we have now,Wu is likely to outlive him.It could be that monastery was obviously a bad choice and Wu didn't want the weapons lost forever bc they're needed for the prophecy and with most of the past generation of ems either gone or not entirely trustworthy(earth em before Lilly was a traitor during the serpentine wars, then rejoined the alliance, damaging Wu's trust in him and Lilly herself was young and going out on adventures making her unavailable; Libber is missing,Ice em is either dead or missing to Wu's knowledge and etc)
-Personal hc for where Cole,Jay and Zane were during Kai's training is that on the journey to monastery Wu messaged them without Kai noticing, sending them away with a task.Once Kai mastered the course he called the 3 back without warning them about Kai
-Jay's "We're saving a girl?Is she hot?" line. The first part along with their reaction to Kai implies the 3 didn't know anything about Smith-Jiang siblings.Including age.On the one hand, that's creepy.Jay is just lucky that Nya's not too much younger. On the other,it might be in character for Jay to say something without thinking. If we're keeping it then have Jay say it later when there is a possibility that Kai or Wu informed them of the situation and the details.
-Show Kai warming up to the team more and more
-Establish the disastrous consequences of Tornado of Creation bc the only bad thing to happen from that in all the show was Lloyd being taken out by a door and that was just a coincidence. Not only will it give more detail, but also explain why ninja don't use it all the time
-Nya quoting Ray despite not remembering much about her parents.Let's assume Kai told her about it
-Wu's plan. What was the point of taking the sword to the Underworld if the other three weapons would be brought to the same place? That moment needs to be thought through
-Wu's 'death'.He was not a fallen warrior bitter with defeat,so there's no reason for him to go to the Underworld with the sword of fire and he did not turn into a skulkin. To fix this and previous point, let's say he got trapped on the other side of the volcano with the entrance to the Underworld and sword of fire has been with him bc he obtained it during the battle. He did not die yet
-Flame.Other 3 dragons didn't need to be woken up to protect their weapons(Rocky took some time tho).My personal hc is that the other 3 woke up immediately bc they sensed the humans and the skulkin.Flame however living so close to Underworld has his senses for the skulkin and similar dark forces(like Garmadon's Oni heritage) muted and the only others present in the Fire Temple were Kai,Nya and Wu,who all have dragon heritage
-Dragon saddles should not exist at this point in the show(I know it's to sell toys, but still)
-Jaya hug and Ignacians enthusiasm/cheering. Just don't include it at all,Jay and Nya are strangers at this point and Ignacians have no idea what's going on.Instead show them being confused and afraid of dragons and Jay maybe introducing himself to Nya
-Garmadon and Wu need to refer to each-other by smth other than just brother. It's repetitive and kinda unrealistic(no matter how old, siblings are siblings). This goes for the whole show

Okay, I'm a silly Billy and I LOVE the Excnaged Fate AU atm so now I GOTTA ask quite a few questions (feel free 2 take yr time answering!!!!)
What's up w the SoG in this AU? Are they a thing? Do they still worship Garmadon because HE destroyed the Devourer? Do they plan to like, use the Oni Masks to bring his Oni side out of him?
Does Garmadon get baby-ified in s8? Does he reunite with Ray in s7?
Do the ninja still go to the First Realm?
How does Garmaon react to Morro?
LET’S GO!! THIS IS A FUN ONE! TY SM RAINE!!!
This is a long one soooo answers under the cut!
1. What’s up with the SoG in this AU? Are they a thing? Do they still worthship Garmadon because HE destroyed the Devourer? Do they plan to like, use the Oni Masks to bring his Oni side out of him?
Ding ding ding! I can answer every part of that question with a yes!
At the beginning of season 8, The SoG attack Garmadon in an attempt to capture him. They fail, terribly. As a result of this the ninja team and Garmadon are extra alert of the SoG.
I imagine the team probably tries to protect Garmadon through the season, since they've figured he’s targeted. This is despite the fact that he’s like, one of the most powerful people in Ninjago atm. I just find it a wholesome way for the team to show off that they care about him, plus it potentially makes for some hilarity considering they’re trying to protect the son of the creator of Ninjago, someone with heritage from both creation and destruction, a man who was a warlord in the past and has actually killed a god before.
With all that said the SoG…
Do eventually get him.
2. Does Garmadon get baby-ified in s8? Does he reunite with Ray in s7?
Garmadon actually does not get baby-ified, so I’m glad you asked! I don’t imagine Garmadon treading many of Wu’s steps in s7 because, while Garmadon fills Wu’s role as master to the ninjas, they’re not the same characters. One of the things that is changed because of that, is that no master is lost in time in s7.
With that, yeah, Garmadon reunites with Ray and Maya in s7!
Also, baby Wu is in s8. Yeah, that’s how we bring him back. I couldn’t keep him dead forever, I’m too much of a softy for that. I may be a Garmadon fan first, but I'm a Spinjitzu Brothers fan second.
3. Do the ninja still go to the First Realm?
Yeah! And they got one extra!
Lloyd is in shambles.
4. How does Garmadon react to Morro?
Terribly, as one may expect. Season 5 is really not Garmadon's season when it comes to having a nice time.
Garmadon is powerless to save his son. He can't fight Morro, because then he'd be harming his son; but every second he does nothing, Lloyd is suffering. It's a perfect concoction of torture for him. One I intend to exploit thoroughly.

More Tea Shop AU changes!
Day of the Departed: -Lloyd is with Mystake during this episode but other than that the plot is basically the same. (Ignore the fact that the time difference would mean the Yin/Yang eclipse happened way earlier. This is Ninjago, we don't care about timeline here.)
Season 7: -Lloyd has no "Master in Training" arc (he also never got Garm's robes because that was just weird in general). -Instead, Cole serves as the leader throughout the entire series and he's the one to achieve the rank of Master after this season. -Obviously the season isn't really Lloyd-focused so it doesn't change all that much, except Mystake is involved a bit in the attempts to reverse Wu's ageing (unfortunately she is out of Yesterday's Tea and by the time she gets some, he's already been reversed and lost in time).
Season 8: -HO BOY THIS IS WHERE THE FUN STARTS -So it starts out pretty much the same, with the Ninja getting hired to protect the royal family against this spooky new "Sons of Garmadon" threat. -Lloyd finds out that they're after the Oni masks and immediately goes to contact Mystake, since she's, y'know, one of the original Oni warlords who owned the masks (my money's on either Decer or Ha-eed), but she's oh-so-conveniently absent from the shop. It's not a huge deal, since she's a cryptic old demon lady who does what she wants, but it's definitely unfortunate timing. -We actually reveal that Mr E is Echo (they only didn't in canon because there was already so much new lore, but since Lloyd already knows about his Oni/Dragon heritage we have time for some Zane/Echo angst). -The season goes normally until, of course, the scene where Lloyd and Harumi go to retrieve the Mask of Hatred. Since Lloyd's heritage is common knowledge by now, there's no "how did you know I was part Oni?" stuff (unclear whether or not the other Ninja figure it out). Instead, they get the mask and get out, but are then promptly "captured" by the Sons of Garmadon. Lloyd is pitching escape plans, which Harumi vetoes, and once they're approaching the Temple of Resurrection or whatever, she reveals her identity as the Quiet One and begins the resurrection ceremony (I'm gonna cut the hair thing because it really didn't make sense). -Resurrection stuff is happening, Harumi's screaming into a portal, the Ninja are trying to stop the ceremony, Mystake chooses now to conveniently come back and help, they stop the ceremony but obviously not fast enough. -Party at Laughy's, Mystake is also here and she takes Misako's place in that whole "hey, this sucks but don't let it ruin you as a person" conversation. -Anyway of course Lloyd does not listen because we have to have a dramatic fight scene where his soul and body are crushed. It's a lot closer of a fight because Lloyd is perfectly capable of accessing his Oni form so there's a LOT of damage done before Garmadon inevitably wins and takes over Ninjago and "kills" the Ninja and stuff.
Season 9: -I lied, THIS is where the fun starts. -Lloyd is a broken mess, his friends are dead and he has no idea where Mystake is or if she's alive, he's powerless and just trying to make it through the next day. Typical Lloyd stuff. -The only thing that gives him any hope is when they find Mystake again with the rest of the Resistance, although there's a pretty heated conversation about maybe TELLING HIM before sending his friends to an unfamiliar realm with no preparation and no clear way of getting home. -Did Mystake send the to the First Realm specifically so they could free the Hunters from their tyrannical ruler? Who knows? Maybe. -The biggest difference from canon is that, upon finding out that Mystake didn't survive her encounter with Garmadon, Lloyd discovers that while his green power still isn't working, his Oni form is back to normal. How does he discover this? By going absolutely apeshit on Garmadon's forces. -Harumi's dead, Mystake's dead, Garmadon is pissed because that's his daughter figure and Lloyd is pissed because that's his mother/grandmother figure. Now there's two Oni beating eachother's asses on top of Borg Tower and no one has any clue how to deal with them. -Eventually the Ninja find their way out of the First Realm, and Lloyd realizes that fighting his father is doing absolutely nothing and tries the whole "I cannot fight you, but I can resist you" thing (though not exactly the same way). Anyway part 3 coming in a sec.

elaboration on the Crystal King Lloyd au bc I'm bored as fuck
(I’m sorry this is so long I never learnt how to shut the fuck up)
Everything is the same up until the building collapses under Harumi in s9. She miraculously survives, although is injured, and having just relived her greatest trauma her first reaction is to call for help. When nobody comes, she gets herself together and manages to escape on her own, running away and hiding. She watches the final battle between father and son from afar and starts planning her revenge after Lloyd's victory.
Of course there's the pressing question: how could one even defeat the Green Ninja? After all, he fought off not just Garmadon but the rest of the Oni and then later Aspheera, a powerful sorceress - so if they are no match for him, what could be? Harumi realizes the greatest strength of the ninja are their elemental powers and therefore their biggest weakness is losing them (as evidenced by Kai's reaction to getting his fire power stripped away).
But the only thing that could nullify elemental power is vengestone, something that is hard to come by. She searches night and day until she comes across the Kingdom of Shintaro, where she goes on to negotiate a deal with King Vangelis - she is still technically the Jade Princess, having inherited all of her parents’ wealth, so money isn't exactly an issue. She also contacts the Mechanic, asking him to build a robot army from the vengestone, something he is more than happy to help with.
But of course, first the Mechanic has to run after the events with Prime Empire and then later the ninja come and defeat Vangelis, putting a stop to the operation. The army is not nearly big enough to be a threat to the ninja, the few robots that have already been built are barely functional, and Harumi might be good at planning but she is no technician to finish the job herself.
Harumi retreats for a while, trying to come up with ideas that haven't already failed under other villains' hands. She watches the ninja fight Kalmaar and Wojira and then Nya leave to be one with the ocean, and that’s when it strikes her. Although their powers are their greatest strength, it is also their greatest weakness – and Lloyd is partially Oni, after all, so what if instead of searching for ways to defeat the Green Ninja, she could turn his own heritage against him? What if instead of pushing Lloyd, the hero, down to the ground, she could raise Lloyd, the villain, to the top?
And it’s not like Lloyd doesn’t have the seeds of villainy in him either. He used to want to be just like his father, and although he claims to have grown out of that mindset, he did leave Harumi to die under that collapsed building.
Then comes s15 blah blah Harumi collects the cock Council of the Crystal King blah blah Lloyd comes and gets captured. He keeps telling Harumi that she doesn’t have to do this and it’s not too late to turn back (thinking that Harumi is trying to resurrect the Overlord idk I haven’t thought about this too much) to which Harumi replies well, you don't have to be a good guy either. You don't have to sacrifice every part of your life to the people who don't even have an ounce of respect for the work you do and the effort you put into it. After all, they did throw you into jail even though you were only trying to help your friend, didn't they?
And Lloyd obviously tries to disagree but Harumi doesn’t stop. She brings up all the things Lloyd has lost to being the Green Ninja, his childhood, his innocence, his father, his friends (multiple times, welcome to Ninjago where death is meaningless but just as traumatizing) – the list could go on and on. So when Lloyd finally does manage to escape, he keeps thinking about how much being the Green Ninja is a burden and how deeply he does indeed wish he was never chosen for this job.
They still go get Garmadon (even though the Overlord doesn’t return in this au – as I said I haven’t thought everything through) and Lloyd still gets Oni training to combat the Vengestone Army, but now Garmadon’s words of focusing on his anger mix with Harumi’s insights. So when failed attempt after failed attempt they are still losing and Lloyd can feel the frustration in his friends and all of Ninjago is counting on him – something breaks in him. He never asked for this, he never asked to be the hero and savior of the world! He never asked for his childhood to be taken away (even though it was technically his choice, but he was a kid how could he have known to make the good decision?), he never asked to be in constant battle with villains where every victory only means an opportunity for another evil to rise in their place!
Finally out of ideas, Lloyd gives in to the despair the husk of his father has been advising to weaponize. Maybe all this hero talk and doing the right thing isn’t enough to defeat the enemy. Maybe Garmadon was right when he said that the only way to protect Ninjago from the Oni was to allow him to take over the city.
Maybe the way of defeating the villains isn’t to be the hero, but to be the greater bad. And nothing is worse than an Oni at its full power.
Lloyd, finally having had enough with the world constantly throwing shit at his face, lets go of all the morals that have been holding him back. In his place emerges the Crystal King, embodiment of hatred and loss, an undefeatable foe of both Oni and Dragon powers – with Harumi, a friend who he once trusted and cared for, as his right hand and closest advisor. She did make him realize the truth of his situation, after all.

I absolutely love this so much cause it adds both a whole new layer to him and it also differentiates him from my oc even more
Sorry for infodumping about Galaxy on so many Ninjago posts y'all
Lloyd always seemed very closed off to his powers and heritage for fear of becoming "evil".
Galaxy (who is in no way evil btw) loves learning about her powers. She was born into a world with supposedly no magic, survived an attempted assassination attempt, and got flung into a new world where she discovered she isn't normal.
So ofc she wants to explore her limits and teach herself new things. She has no one else around her like her (the ninja are close, but her powers are of a completely different origin).
She doesn't even know what species of dragon she can shape shift into. As far as she knows, she may very well be the only one of her kind. So she's had to learn about her dragon abilities by herself too.
Lloyd doesn't want to know more because of his heritage (mainly his Oni side), but Galaxy wants to know more because of it.
Which ancestor ended up on Earth, a magicless world, and decided to stay? Are there any other dragons like her? A whole culture and history she doesn't know about? All that jazz.
She actually wouldn't mind if she lost all but her dragon and portal abilities. But history and knowledge about fantasy things she previously thought to be fiction are part of what drives her.
Her adoptive brother has no such motivation.
Theory that Lloyd is willingly ignorant about his element because he doesn't want to know what kind of power he's capable of. He's someone that doesn't have a lust for power and I'd assume he wouldn't even want to be aware of what else he could do.
This is also why he's notably more skilled in swordfighting, because he spends more time honing those skills rather than his element.
"I'm already the Golden Ninja... how much more power do I need?" -Lloyd; Rebooted

Hello Hello Hello! I am already drowning in this au. I love underused characters getting so much spotlight. AND MORRO AND ECHO SJDHISBDNF a rare pair that will live in my heart forever.
But anyway onto the question-
1. I’m super interested in Pixls role in this au. Is she working with Wu’s ninjas? Maybe an internal conscience in Zane? Or is she just chilling with borg this time around?
2. Another thing I’m curious about is the evil ninjas! How did they end up with Wu? How did they get the golden weapons? Are their backstories still the same? And how did they end up here, harming innocent people and going down the path of darkness?
3. Last question I swear! How do our main ninjas powers work? Like we know a base idea of Morro’s and Skylor’s powers. But how do the others work? To what extent is Vania the master of “stone”. And I’m especially interested in Harumi’s jade powers!!!
Ok I shut up now this au is just rly good
IM GENUINELY SO HAPPY PEOPLE ARE ENJOYING THIS SKLDNKSF,,, all these characterss live in my heart and im so happy other people enjoy them too,, citrus shipping beloved
anyways i can answer these boringly with just text so bear with me--
it is insinuated in the first chapter of the fic of this au BUT borg industries has been bankrupt and out of service for quite a while now in ninjago city, and as such cyrus went underground to work on his robotics without restriction. in his loneliness, he made P.I.X.A.L., and when the overlord took over ninjago she sided with wu's ninja, as lord wu had been an investor and supporter of her father. she chills with borg for a bit but eventually gets to enact chaos and villainy of her own!
their backstories are MOSTLY the same; kai and nya's parents disappear, zane was built by dr julien, cole lost his mother, BUT jay found out about his parentage much earlier and chose to pursue wu's teachings. they just have different reactions to their backstories! cole got angry at his father's lack of a reaction to his mother's death and chose to run away; zane became angry upon learning his father intended to steal his memories away upon the man's death and tipped off the skeletons, leaving his father at their mercy; wu visited kai and nya's shop, and knowing their parents he told them about their heritage and offered them a place among his ranks. tldr? they were children capable of more selfish, violent reactions to their traumas and i think that should be explored.
oh boy here we go (: here's the basics of how OUR good ninja's powers' work. in a future chapter their philosophies/mentalities about their powers will be revealed but here's the basics!
TOX
her body is essentially infused with her element, as her bodily fluids are varying levels of venomous. she utilizes this with her FUKIYA, aka her blowgun. she can also summon larger quantities of poison, like nya can summon water, but because she fights mostly in highly populated areas (and she doesn't want to KILL her opponents) she tends to stray away from doing so.
ECHO
they can turn anything they touch into rust, no matter the material. this includes organic things, such as plants, animals, and humans :). they can also manipulate this rust to a certain extent, but they mostly deteriorate things and let their weapon do the rest. this rust gets in their mechanics and inner gears, and if they're not careful they can outright rust their own (important) parts. they require frequent constant Maintenace and upkeep to stay running, but skylor is up to the task!
not a part of their elemental powerset, but similar to zane's future sight, echo has something called Empathy. it allows them to see other people and their intentions, gaining a deep understanding of them. they haven't quite realized this yet, though.
VANIA
like cole with earth, vania requires her element (stone) to manipulate it. she can manipulate all stones in ninjago, including vengestone as long as she is not in direct contact with it. her powers also gift her superstrength (like cole).
BENTHOMAAR
kind of like jay, he can summon lightning, BUT he cannot control it. he can summon storm clouds, thunder, rain, hail, sleet, and other forms of storm. his control is over the entirety of the storm, not its individual parts. he also has super strength but that's because he's a big fish man, not because of his element. sometimes, he'll summon small, harmless storm clouds to entertain fans! it's very wholesome.
HARUMI
jade. the element of harmony and balance. harumi's powers include: healing (both physically and emotionally), luck (both bad and good), and Transformation. her physical and ninja feats are her own-- while her teammates have physical manifestations of their elements to utilize, harumi's powerset is that of a healer, a support. because that's what jade is-- if green is energy, jade is its equal but opposite. tranquility, serenity, passivity. she has no oni or dragon blood, nor powerful blasts of energy to aim at her enemies, but she has something arguably more important-- the ability to heal.

Time to talk about why I think Kai+Nya have merlopian heritage a some point in their line!!!
Here’s some points that support it
-Wu knows next to nothing about Nyad, the Merlopians, or the origin of the element of water
-Nobody else in ninjago seems to be aware of the merlopian’s existence either
-We know the story of Nyad is essentially a merlopian legend, one told often enough Benthomaar is familiar with it.
-We also know that Maya had at least heard the story, because she chose to name Nya after Nyad.
So if nobody knows anything about Merlopians, including Wu, then why would Maya know anything about them? She certainly wasn’t alive during that era of ninjago’s history. Why would she know that story, and be familiar enough with Nyad and who they were to decided to name her daughter in honor? She also recognized the story when Bentho brought it up, and didn’t need any explanation as to its origin.
-Ah but we also know that elemental power, for the most part, is genetic and passes through family lines.
So there is our answer. Nyad was Merlopian, but at some point along the way the line was mixed with humans. They story, being integral to the family and its heritage, was passed through the generations along with the power of water. Even if at some point, where exactly the story comes from gets lost in translation. (Or perhaps Maya knows more about merlopia than she originally let on….)
In conclusion, Kai and Nya are part fish :)

I was just going to do the realm that has the best but this thought has grabbed me by the throat so here's my rankings of every Realms weed strains: Ninjago: Like Earths. It can get you blazed out of your freakin mind. you can experience bad trips for sure but that's just how weed works. some folks don't enjoy the experience, it could increase their anxiety, or it could be a nice downtime activity. Underworld: Middle of the road. Main issue is that you shouldn't fall asleep while under the influence of Underworld weed. You're going to experience crazy hyperrealistic nightmares and it is NOT going to be fun. Could Kingdom: THE best weed. I fully doubt those monks are writing every day without being on something or they’d lose their mind with boredom. They have a sacred cannabis garden that they harvest from. Smoking or ingesting it is used to help loosen your mind and show you the things to come. They've created a strain that somehow doesn't cause short term memory loss as a side effect so the monks can write down their thoughts without any fear of forgetting. Dijnjago: The weed equivalent to Asgardian mead. Would put even a normal Ninjago weed user in a comatose state for a solid week. Dijnn's live incredibly long lives and their tolerance to THC would become ungodly high after a few hundred years. If a Djinn offers you a bowl, either politely decline their invitation or be prepared to be unable to do literally anything for the next few days. Wyldness: incredibly weak. It's inhabited by dragons and general wildlife. There is no civilization to cultivate and selectively breed it. During high school we had to interview Vietnam War veterans and no matter what on earth we did they wouldn't stop talking about how the weed in Vietnam was incredibly weak compared to today's strains as it was just natural plant life that grew in the jungles. Wyldness weed is like that. Uncultivated and weak but can be found in nature if you look around. Realm of Oni and Dragons: Magical as hell weed. This shit is more magical than Mystake's entire tea collection and where the Oni's cultivation of magically imbued plants began. A vast majority of strains have ceased to be with the death of the Oni but Mystake still has a small garden and carefully cultivates the long lived magical strains for both recreational use, heritage, and to sell in her shop. They both can give you a nice high and show you your most likely future, give you visions of every item you've ever lost and their current location, to even stopping time for a few moments.
Cursed Realm, Mysterium, Realm of Madness: feel like they’d all have strains of the “you’ll see spiders you’ll see spiders you’ll see spiders” variety. - Realm of Madness: would always be a bad high. would have similar effects to Ether, the pinnacle of "you'll see spiders" psychedelics. - Mysterium: Smoking any of that premium dragon blood dark mutant evil pack kush from Mysterium is like rolling a D&D wild magic sorcerer effect table. Will you experience psychadelic wonders? will you turn into a plant? will you look into every future of everyone who's ever lived but your own? You'll never know until you take a hit. - Cursed Realm: It's cursed, there is no weed. The greatest curse of all.
Imperium: would have weed genetically modified to the point of max THC extraction but I feel like they’re against any possible form of substance consumption. Never Realm: Akin to Ninjago weed but is more likely to give you a mild psychedelic trip. It was cultivated and used in ceremonies of the Formlings up until the genocide and mass freeze of the Ice Emperor. Marijuana is now extinct in the Never Realm.
Realm of Lee: Absolutely no clue what goes on there. Only info we have about it is that there's mushrooms and candy there. Weed Status: Unknown.
Ok guys real talk. Which realm had the best weed?

Maybe He's Desperate
Ninjago Seabound spoiler fic/drabble below the cut.
((@lloydskywalkers rereading some of your fics is what jogged me to write, and it is Lloyd, so if you happen to log on again i thought maybe you'd like to see ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ ))
Lloyd doesn't know how they didn't see it sooner.
Ever since they lost Nya to the sea, he's seen hints — a glimmer in Zane's eyes at a dry ice supplier, unconscious static crawling through Jay's hair with every storm, Cole's ever-growing distaste for the sky even on dragon-back and the way the jagged cracks in his arms extend a little further every time his power lights them up.
He sees it the most in Kai, he thinks — smoke on his brother's breath and wisps of flame curled in his hands, the way torchlight bends towards him no matter what way a breeze might blow, the shapes that only appear in a campfire when the Master of Fire is near.
He saw it in Nya, a little, before... before. Tides would get stronger with her on the beach, the Bounty (when they were waterbound) would sail more smoothly. He had assumed it was intentional. He'd assumed all of them were intentional, or had always happened, or at least were harmless.
(harmless like his own eyes, that should be red but turned green while he was on his own for so long without other Elemental Masters for backup. his own eyes that went dark once but have been glowing brighter every time he feels the power pulling at him.)
(his friends' eyes glow in moments of great power, in response to great danger. his glow all the time. it's fine it doesn't mean anything it's harmless)
(there's a lot he can chalk up to his weird heritage; maybe he attributes more to that than he should. maybe it's better not to know for sure.)
He thinks maybe he feels another hint in the wind, every gust that bites as deep and cold as death — but that could just be the trauma.
So maybe he doesn't ask Kai to roast marshmallows for him anymore, sits closer than he would normally and lets himself be pulled into hugs-turned-cuddles so that his brother won't feel the need to be closer to the flames to seek warmth. Maybe he keeps Cole in the air as much as he can, or at least aboveground, works harder to find creative solutions that won't require super strength on missions. Maybe he suggests a trip away if storms get too close in the forecast, or drags Jay to play games with him somewhere so insulated that they can't even hear the thunder (maybe he plays up his fear of storms, and if that's him avoiding the wind, nobody mentions it; if it's Jay avoiding the rain, likewise, nobody mentions it). Maybe he helps Zane cook more, and never asks the nindroid to retrieve anything from the freezer, stops asking for ice cream, makes sure they have fire extinguishers everywhere so Ice isn't needed for every training accident now that they don't have Water
Maybe he doesn't go to the beach anymore. Maybe he pretends not to see how Jay and Kai can't keep themselves away from the shore for long, maybe he makes himself scarce before they can ask him to join them, because maybe he doesn't know if he'd be able to say no, because — maybe — he'd lose his mind if the splash of a wave looked too much like his sister the way she looked when she disappeared.
Maybe he spends too much time staring at the mirror, willing his eyes to stop glowing. Or maybe he doesn't look at mirrors at all anymore.
If it were any of his brothers that had been lost, he might have considered seeing how lost he could get in his own powers, because he might be able to find someone lost in a power he has his own connection to. But Water wasn't one of the Elements of Creation; his connection to Nya runs fully as deep as his heart does, and deeper, but not to the level of elemental power. Water wasn't even under the dominion of the First Spinjitzu Master himself, so Lloyd hadn't even inherited some kind of secondhand connection by becoming the Ultimate Master however long ago now.
No, Water was beyond his grandfather's power, in a category all its own with Wind, Uncle Wu had said, and now it had taken its Master away.
Water...
and Wind.
Maybe he has an idea.

SO.
Based on this post from @fangirl-616 I end up starting working on a AU it looks like.
No prophecy AU.
As stated in the post there is no green ninja prophecy. Which leads to Misako not abounding Lloyd. Misako is actually a decent enaght mom here. A very busy one cuz she has to feed her and Lloyd and as an archeologist they move around ninjago a lot but at least the is there.
Lloyd still is a little lonely shit at the begening tho. He really doesnt likes Wu for sending his dad away. He just wants to have a full family. And like in canon his stupid little brain thought that being evil and going on his dad footsteps will somehow help.
He opens serpentine thumbs. He gets tricked by Pythor. But when Pythor ditches him (which would go a bit difrently then in canon cuz school but am not sure how yet) instead to go with Wu he goes back to Misako.
Not sure how stuff would go then cuz Damn is Lloyd such a big part of those seasons and Garmadon motivations. I was considering ditching those season all together but I want for Lloyd to hate snakes in this AU and I have a decent reasoning right here so.
Garmadon after Serpentines get rid of him doesnt end up on the dark island or however it called. Generally let's throw throw the window the whole overlord thing.
After Lloyd and Misako find Garmadon, Lloyd is really excited and he wants his dad back. But both Garmadon and Misako agree that it will be best if Garm doesnt stay. Which is really heartbreaking for Lloyd and he did cry a ton.
Lloyd just lost his dad once again. He decided that maybe if he will be evil and stronger then dad will come back. That maybe they could become a whole family again! Dad never had a problem with Misako being the way she is so it must be that Lloyd is not evil enaght! So he will change it!
He run away from home on his quest to get more evil. He goes to Chen. His dad did study at Chen so it was only logical. And he knew from his moms stories about his dad that Chen wasn't a good guy either.
Chen welcomes him with open arms when Lloyd asks him to teach him how to be evil and how to fight. Tbh Chen practically adopts him 'cuz why not. And Skylor becomes his big sis (similar how Kai become his big bro in canon).
With some time they discover (it was probably Skylor tbh) that Lloyd is also an elemental master. Which wasn't really that surprising taking his heritage. He does his best to master those skills too. (also his weapon of choice is a staff cuz it is super cool, Garmadon uses it sometimes and I was watching Monkie kid recently)
So when after many years Tournament of Elements happens Lloyd is trully an evil warrior. He goes to Tutnament some as Skylor. And he really wants to kick ninjas buts. And Wus. That's what they deserve right?
I havent thought out how ToE would go exacly. Which Lloyd really hating snakes he really woudnt want to become a Serpentine, Anacondrite at that! So he probably got manipulated by Chen in some way or another to help him with his plan. Maybe Chen promised to help somehow with Garmadon. But after the shit goes down Lloyd agrees for a short lived alliance with Ninja cuz he really doesnt want for his dad and his sis to become snakes (and possibly him if he did get the tattoo).
After defeating Chen Lloyd decides to go on his own but he still keeps in touch with Skylor. Her noodles are the best on his opinion. He probably should also go visit his mom cuz she havent seen him in a while. Wait. What if in the mean time Wu and Misako got a thing going? That would piss Lloyd so much XD
Also I can see a one sided greenflame potential? Like Lloyd getting a small crash on Kai and Kai getting a crush on Skylor. Lloyd is a little shit to Kai cuz "How you dare flirt with my sis" but Skylor is aware that Lloyd has a crush on Kai and she doesnt want to hurt her baby bro feeling. So yea. It's a mess. About ages I thought something along 15/16 and 19/20 while the ToE. Not much really happens at that point in time tho but it could have potential for later. Also flustered no-prophecy Lloyd is cute XD Maybe with time passing Lloyd could warm up to ninja and Kai and stuff. Or maybe he won't! Who knows.
So... yea. That's my rant. Hope it was entertaining XD. If you have any questions or anything. My inbox is always open. I'll post a doodle of this Lloyd soon.
