Zero III is a funny rabbit who tells awful puns. He exists to oversee the game that the main characters are trapped in, and teach them the rules. Although he must follow the orders of his creator (referred to as Zero Sr.), he does so with glee. He even gives each participant an insulting nickname.

Beta Jay 137 propaganda:

Look at him, that is the most trans masc character design I've ever seen. Fan artists draw him with glowing top surgery scars.

🧠 How did you first come up with this character? Any interesting details about creating them?

Ever since I've seen S12 I've always wanted there to be more depth to Beta in particular, so I developed him into the Beta that you see today! Dee is born from another one of the Jays, but them together is from my musings about what a relationship born inside of PE would look like. Beta and Dee are a pair, not sold separately lol

Talon was created because I needed someone or something to link PE to S4! Also because in order to make the League feel more like a family I definitely needed a father figure (or grandfatherly figure, considering that Talon has 20 years on everyone else in the League at least).

❗- Could they beat any of the ninja in a fight?

In Prime Empire, absolutely. Beta is a seasoned fighter when it comes to the game and he would wipe the floor with everyone other than maybe Jay. Outside of the game is a different story, though, because Beta would get his ass kicked in a heartbeat. As Ninjago already established, combat skills don't transfer into or out of Prime Empire, so all of his skills that he's gained in the game would be useless in an actual fight.

🐍 - If they were a Serpentine, what type would they be? If they’re already a Serpentine, what other species would they be if they weren’t Serpentine?

This is a very interesting question, and I think Beta would be a Constrictai! In his past life (before PE) he loved building things and putting stuff together, and he worked summer jobs putting in new fences for people around Ninjago. He loves mountains and caves too!

He gave Beta a nudge of his own. “Hey now, you’re about to go on a romantic getaway with her. Plus, being jealous of Scott? Of all the people in the League?”

Flushing, Beta bit his lip. “It’s not like that.”

“Oh really?” Jay said, making sure to use his best Cheshire cat voice. “You know, Nya and I have been together for a while now. I could probably give you some tips.”

Beta deadpanned. “I think you are the last person I should be taking love tips from.”

“What?!” Jay spluttered. “Hey! I am the only one of the Ninja to be in a consistent relationship! At least I’m not Kai!”

“‘Consistent’ is not what I would call your relationship with Nya,” Beta said. “Last time I checked, you guys were still duking it out like you were getting divorced while she was trying to do her own thing.”

“Huh?” but before Jay could ask for more, he heard the loud footsteps that signaled Talon’s arrival. The man was so tall that he had to duck under the League’s doorways, and Jay watched as Talon took off his hat so it wouldn’t come off of his head.
