I'm almost done with chapter 2 of Obsidian Gold! I might either post it tonight or tomorrow, but for now here's the finished drawing of the sketch I made of Ambrosius for the fic!

Ambrosius was starting to feel tired, a really weird tiredness that wouldn’t go away even when he slept or took a nap. It wouldn’t go away even when he ate and drank as much as he could to make sure his energy stayed up. It just wouldn’t go away... and that made him mad sometimes, but he wasn’t supposed to be mad or sad, it’s just...

Sometimes, not all the time of course, it felt like his father was only ever really interested in... in his powers, and not in Ambrosius himself.

His mama told him he was being silly though, in that way she would do when Ambrosius had a nightmare of a monster tearing him apart and she would tell him that that would never happen because the monster would have to get through her first.

And no one could ever get past his mama.

Thinking of his mother had Ambrosius smiling softly to himself.

She was busy making dinner inside right now, Doenjang Jjigae, his favourite! He loved when she cooked for them! She always made everything taste amazing and her food always made everything bad be better!

... She always made everything better.
