"¿Cambiar o no cambiar?"

Hola aventureros :D✨️.

Hoy les traigo una de las primeras interacciones de Livius y Candy, cuando mi bebo fue recién encontrado y adoptado por el Candelabro (así le digo yo a Candy XD).

Al principio no se llevaban bien y ciertamente solían pelear mucho, en especial por que Livius desconfiaba de Candy y trataba de llevarle siempre la contraría. El niño estaba enojado con todo y con todos, perdonenlo :<.

En ese momento iban a ir a comprarle ropa y calzado adecuados para él, ya que lo que trae puesto es un suéter y pantalón de Candy por eso al cambiar le queda enorme, a la medida o simplemente grande y bueno no trae zapatos por que esos de plano no le quedan XD.

DATOS INTERESANTES :D✨️:

1. La primera imagen de Livius en la puerta es su forma parcialmente original, ya que muchas de las partes que tiene son modificaciones inducidas o repercusiones de otros experimentos que sufrió, es decir, realmente cuando nació no se veía así.

2. La primera forma que tomó luego de que Candy le dice que así no puede salir, es la de un chico casi idéntico a Candy, por que a pesar de que no le tuviera confianza en ese momento el chamaco en realidad si que quería tener una familia de nuevo, así que por eso tomo una forma muy parecida a la de Candy para poder al menos tener un vinculo en el físico.

3. La tercera forma, la de una chica, es la forma que posteriormente Livius patenta para convivir con humanos, con esa imagen se hace llamar Naran. Le verán más adelante así ;3.

working on my lestat zine and just had the dawning realization that I drew him similar to book ambrosius. backtracking and realized those two are strikingly similar?? and then you have ballister as louis and nimona as claudia. what.

nimona and iwtv, knights and vampires, and vise versa. okay.

I can't think of a title for these Nimona headcanons

Throughout their childhood Bal and Ambrosius switched between who was taller 

They would get growth spurts so frequently that it wasn’t uncommon for them to go to the nurse's office just to settle a score and check who was taller every couple of weeks 

And when they did figure out who was taller the “winner” would make a massive scene about it and constantly mock the other until they got a growth spurt 

For some reason Bal was unreasonably proud after his growth spurts and would often say shit like “I’m sorry my lord you’re going to have to speak up I can’t hear you from this great distance”

While Ambrosius was plastered to his side 

Bal was actually taller at the start of their relationship and he always made a scene about kissing Ambrosius 

He would let out a groan whenever he had to lean down and straighten back up and would make joking remarks about his back hurting because of it 

Once it became clear that Ambrosius was winning the height contest he made up for the constant jokes 

Bal calls Ambrosius short will so much honesty and conviction that bystanders have often told them to stand back-to-back just to make sure Ambrosius is taller 

I said in this post that Ambrosius is allergic to a shit ton of things 

And because of that he has multiple EpiPens  

He keeps one on hand at all times, one in his car, one in his office, and one in his room

He was also given two extras that Bal and Nimona took

He didn’t even know that they took them until one night they went out to dinner 

And he order something that gave him a mild reaction

He knew it was fine but the duo was freaking out and he noticed that they kept reaching for something 

He asked them about it and they both unwillingly showed him the EpiPens 

He wasn’t even surprised that they took them he was just shocked he didn’t notice they were missing 

When Nimona is distracted or in a rush their human form is less believable and sometimes ventures into the realm of uncanny 

Sometimes its bigger things like their limbs being disproportionate to their body or their eyes being bigger than the average person

And sometimes it’s smaller things like the texture of their skin being closer to sharks' scales and their hair feeling like animal fur 

He also doesn’t need to breathe or blink as often as humans and he physically can’t break a sweat 

So it’s kind of creepy to watch him do something physically taxing without his chest heaving or blinking sweat out of his eyes 

Whenever the boys mess up or break a promise Nimona makes a big deal about them “making it up to her” 

Sometimes she makes them cook for a month straight 

Sometimes she drags them to the store and forces them to either buy her something or watch her back as she steals something 

Either way once it’s done they call it even and never bring it up again

But she also makes an equally big deal about when she breaks a promise and she begs them to pick something to make it right

Sometimes when the boys are feeling petty they’ll really wait to figure out their favor and she always acts like they’re torturing her

But she always makes up for it even if it’s something as simple as flying them to work cause they’re running late

Ballister: Oh, sorry. Dinner. Tomorrow. ME!

basically what happened before this is cream Uni got Sm to help them with smth in the amusement park related to entertainment (to get him off PV’s back for a while idk) and like. at sone point he turns into a giant snake bc he thinks the kids’ll like it or smth anddddd also did i mention Cream uni and affogato adopted Squid ink???? yeah….. they’re here too at the park oopsssssiessss

bonus: reasoning as to why smc is being like ig so nice to Squid ink is bc erm bc affo is there too idk i feel like sm and affo would have beef but like he and uni told him to be nice to squid or there’ll be a fight probably . ummmmm since he’s there might as well try to befriend the squid right??????

So post-movie I feel like Bal ends up leaving the knighthood and focuses more on his mechanical/scientific interests. he does cute little DIY videos on the kingdom's tic-tok equivalent building simple machines and basic mechanical repairs. he also has a mini "rate my setup" series (you cannot convince me he didn't build that PC in the lair) but he's really genuine about it and the more unhinged things get the more you can see him sweat as he finds nice things to say and constructive criticism. interspersed of course are silly trend/joke videos that nimona makes him do

Just finished Nimona, and I don't think I've ever been this angry about audio description refusing to mention race.

And I spend a lot of my life angry about that.

It's always asinine, it's always appalling, it's occasionally astonishing.

But this feels like a huge FUCK YOU to blind Asian kids.

And is it not a civil rights violation to deny blind audiences access to a very deliberate and significant layer of the story?

But, sure, Roundabout Entertainment, please tell us how long Todd's hair is. That's obviously the most narratively salient detail. So, so crucial to the plot. /sarcasm

I'm taking a little inspiration from what @sir-ballister-boldheart had done with "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons. As they, I cannot video-edit properly, so I've fallen into the brainrot of packing a whole song into the themes of the movie.

This is just a little warning if you see me blogging lyrics matched with movie stills, and also as a disclaimer because I wanted to make this first with "The Story of Us" but "Let's go (Battle)" was kinda angstier.
