Nica! Nica Nica Ni-Nica!
So! Regarding your curse, you mentioned that if one holds your hand, their affection for you intensifies. I have a couple of questions on that, if I may.
Firstly, is it something that happens automatically or can you turn it off and on like a switch?
Secondly, is it any kind of contact like say, a pinkie promise, or does it have to be full palms and fingers contact with another person?
If you don't feel great answering either of those, totally chill. Just wanted to see what you had to say. Thank you thank you!
-Liz
"𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤 𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙣." The jovial smile almost instantly shifts into a frown of deep thought.
"𝙐𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙄 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙩. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙩, 𝙟𝙖?" He took a coin from his pocket to fiddle with, trading it between ringed fingers with an almost shimmering 'ting' each time it touched one of his many rings.
"𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡, 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄'𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩. 𝙄𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚'𝙨." Can you do another Paige X Nika X Reader where the reader gets punished please
Tumblr media
word count : 1.5k
warnings : cussing, smut, straight filth.
summary : fem flirts with aubrey as a joke.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you and aubrey where on the couch with your hand pinching aubreys cheek as you tell her how she looks like a cute little baby. what you didn’t know was nika and paige watched behind your kitchen island silently observing the interaction.
“yup, very cute isnt she y/n, sorry aubrey but y/n has a bunch of homework to do, isnt that right?” you quietly agree with paige knowing it had nothing to with that, as her unapologetic tone made it clear.
aubrey side eyed you as if she knew what was going on, knowing that as soon the door closed behind her, the twins would be all on you. which she was right because when she left they both looked at you as if you where to step on a puppy’s paw.
“so what the fuck was that all about huh?” nikas defensive town throwing you off as you saw no wrong in what you did. they both where on edge all days assuming it was just there breaking point.
you didn’t take them serious as you shrugged them off leaving them standing alone in the living room which pissed them of more because they stayed on your trail following right behind you into the bedroom.
“fucking answer me” she held you tight to her sizing you down as she had your back pressed against your stomach while her hands laid on your hips. her breath hitched feeling it run down your neck making your back arch at the feeling.
“nika it was nothing and you know that.” nika did know it, but she couldnt help it. paige too, they both would go to war for you and it helped you sleep at night knowing they’re here for the thick and thins.
“get on the bed and strip” nika wouldn’t let her dominant wall fall as she lightly pushed you down on the silk sheets as her large hand pressed down on your lower stomach. nika left to the closet and you knew exactly why.
paige looked at your body with no emotion as her soft fingers tugged at your clothing leaving you in nothing, smiling at the sight of your perky nipples and your semi wet clit as your cunt clenched around air needy for their touch.
“not yet baby, just wait.” paige coos before removing her clothes as well and pushing you to your knees. her wet core sitting in front of you looking up for her approval before gaining it.
with that your lips attached to her clit, swirling her sensitive bundle of nerves with your tongue as her seductive moans filled your thoughts turning you on by the second. nika returned with the pink strap in her right hand with a vibrator in her left hand.
she placed the vibrator next to paige on the bed as her dark pupils looked at you. your tried to ignore her focusing on pleasing paige as your hair was pulled into a make shift ponytail by nika pushing your face closer into paiges core.
“open wider, i can’t see how pretty she looks eating you out” nika practically was drooling at the sight of you both. you watched as nikas lips attached to paige as they both ran their hands roaming each others bodys. nika pulled away grasping for air as her glare returned to you.
“feels so fucking good” paige whined tugging at your hair as her world comes crashing down. her legs tensed around your head as her back arched shoving her sopping cunt closer to you as her juices smeared all over your chin.
“yeah? gonna cum? gonna give it to her paige?” nika adding fuel to paige reaching for her orgasm, with nikas help paiges liquids came down spilling out of her cunt as you licked every bit of her up swallowing what was left over.
“such good fucking girls.” nika coos pulling you to your feet pushing you harshly on your stomach right next to paiges fucked out body before she quickly put her strap on. she flipped you on to your back as paige rolled over to you pressing the pad of her finger harshly on your clit.
you grunt at the feeling which was soon cut off by nika thrusting into your tight cunt breaking through your tense walls that gripped on to the silicone. you reached for her arm to stable yourself only for them to be pinned above your head as her head dipped into the crook of your neck peppering kisses.
“such a fucking slut” she sounded a whisper that was stern before coming back from your neck to look you in your eyes. you tried to kiss her only for her to pull away denying it still obviously upset, which made you whine by her actions. you felt paiges hand run from your clit up to your perky tits teasing your nipples as she circled them with her tongue.
“nika please, kiss me. im so fucking sorry” your embarrassing whines a begs for the girl that is so clearly obsessed with you who’s now punishing your for the most unnecessary thing. paige who was quick to speak up for your grinning with a wide smile plastered across her gorgeous face.
“c’mon, she’s asking you to kiss her so nicely” paige teased earning a glare from nika before moving her head but your sensetive buds planting kisses in your upper breast before pressing your breast against her horny face.
“she doesn’t deserve it and she fucking knows it” nika growled as her free hand came to your lower stomach pressing down on the spot she saw bulging up with each thrust making your walls clench around her cock.
you tried to push her away with your feet only for her hands to be replaced with your thighs as she slapped your inner thigh unpleased with your actions as the pleasuring feeling become to much sending your mind blank with slutty thoughts.
“keep going, you don’t deserve a break" her tone seductive but loving echoed throughout practically the whole building. your crys as her hips met yours burning your sensitive skin with each thrust.
“would aubrey ever fuck you like this princess?” nika trying to push you over the edge to your breaking point, knowing you could do so much better for her, except you were brain rotted with her cock unable to do anything.
“not even fucking close nika” you felt your walls clench around her, while the burning not in your stomach formed pulling closer to your release, while it didn’t slip past nika noticing your actions right away.
“doing so good for me baby" you whined at her words while she continuously pulled you down her toy while your hands roamed over her toned abs leaving you start struck with her gorgeous body as she hovered over you fucking you relentlessly into the bed.
“need to cum so fucking bad nika” you knew with nika it wouldn’t be easy to convince her that easy to let you off without a punishment, you knew she would make you work for it. as with paige she was the obvious nicer one always letting you have your way as long as you gave her the pretty fuck me eyes.
“going to have to beg for it baby.” her words not suprising you but some what annoying you as you didnt want her to think she was in the right about the punishment. you decided to try and tick her off by not taking her serious.
“please nika i need it” paige laughed at your dry response bringing her finger to your clit rubbing slow sweet circles on your bundle of nerves that desperately needed a break from nikas assault on your cunt.
“unt unt, you can do better then that pretty” nika noticing the shift in your mood as you continued to try and edge her on. her rapid pace was a good fit in your cunt as she filled your needy pussy up.
“nika please im so fucking sorry, i need to cum all over you. please” with your attitude not falling as the words practically came out of your ass, because you would do anything you needed to for your pleasure and release.
“good girl, go on. cum on mommy’s cock” her words where music to your ears when you let your liquids spill out and coat the silicone as you chased your release slightly fucking yourself back on to her.
“you going to play in our faces again?” she grabbed your chin holding your face to her as her words sent a shock as she left you empty and in your high as you weren’t expecting her to cut it that short leaving you without cuddles but instead replacing it with a kiss.
“how could this pretty face ever do that?” paige squishing your cheeks together as if you where a toddler, then giving you sweet soft kisses as nika rolled her eyes at you to while you both continued to make fun of her.

CROSSING THE LINE — PART TEN ♡
paige x azzi
warnings: sexual content (at the end)
word count: 9.8k
A/N: Alright this is the last chapter of the series 🥹. I really enjoyed writing this one honestly and this won't be my last story! I tried to combine the things people requested the most for the last chapter so it's honestly just a really cute chapter to wrap up their storyline. There is some sexual content at the end but if you don't like that kind of thing you don't have to read it and won't miss much as it's just the end of the series. But for those of you who do like it, it's there lol! Please leave live reactions and comments, thank you so much for reading this series 🫶🏼🤭.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
March 2029
Paige paced back and forth in her dressing room, her footsteps quick and uneven as she muttered under her breath. Nika, lounging on the couch, watched her with an amused expression, while everyone else was still getting dressed.
“Twin, you need to chill and sit down,” Nika said, shaking her head. “You’re gonna get sweaty, and Azzi’s going to kill you and probably me for letting you do this.”
“How am I supposed to sit down?” Paige shot back, throwing her hands in the air. “I haven’t seen my fiancée all day! I have no idea what she’s thinking!”
Nika stifled a laugh. “Yeah, that’s the point. You’re not supposed to see her today. It’s tradition or whatever.”
Paige groaned, reluctantly plopping down onto the edge of the couch. She adjusted her button up carefully, making sure she didn’t wrinkle it. “This is torture, who came up with this ridiculous tradition anyway. Who wouldn’t want to see their wife before they got married,” she muttered.
A few seconds later, as if the universe was reading her mind, a knock sounded at the door. Nika stood up to answer it, sharing a quick glance at Paige whose face lit up a little bit. When Nika opened the door, Caroline stood on the other side, a playful smirk on her face.
“Azzi wants Paige to come to the door,” Caroline said, her tone light, “but she can’t look.”
Nika laughed quietly as she turned to Paige. “Come on, drama queen. Get up.”
With exaggerated reluctance, Paige got to her feet. Nika guided her to the door, positioning her by the wall so she and Azzi couldn’t see each other.
Paige felt a familiar hand slide into hers from the other side of the door frame, their fingers intertwining. Azzi’s voice came softly, almost a whisper. “Hi, baby.”
A wide grin broke out on Paige’s face. “Hi, mama.”
Azzi chuckled at the name, her thoughts drifting briefly to their son, who Geno had whisked away the moment he’d arrived.
“Have you seen him yet?” Paige asked, her tone softening as her thoughts turned to their little boy just like Azzi.
“Not since this morning,” Azzi replied. “But Geno promised he’d keep him entertained. I heard him say something about introducing him to everyone in the building before getting him dressed.”
Paige laughed quietly. “So basically, he’s spoiling him.”
“Of course,” Azzi said with a smile. “I think Geno likes being a grandpa more than he did coaching sometimes.”
Paige’s heart melted as she pictured her son’s bright blue eyes and laughter filling the building. “I still can’t believe we have him sometimes Az. He’s perfect.”
Azzi’s voice softened. “He really is. And he’s going to be so proud of his moms today.”
“Which is why you need to calm down goofball,” Azzi continued gently as she squeezed Paige’s hand.
Paige scoffed, trying to sound confident. “Psh, what are you talking about? I’m cool as a cucumber.”
A laugh bubbled up from Azzi. “I could feel your stress from the other side of the building, Paige and your hands are sweaty.”
At that, Paige tried to pull her hand away to wipe it on a towel, but Azzi held onto her firmly. “Nope, not so fast,” Azzi teased.
Paige sighed, leaning her head back against the wall. “This is so unfair,” she mumbled. “I can’t even see you.”
“I know,” Azzi replied, her voice warm. “But I’m here. We’ve got this.”
Paige exhaled a shaky breath, a grin tugging at her lips. “We’re getting married today, baby.” Her voice wavered with emotion, the reality of the moment hitting her all over again.
Azzi smiled on the other side of the door, her thumb gently stroking the back of Paige’s hand. “Yeah, we are,” she said, her voice filled with awe. “Can you believe it?”
“No,” Paige admitted with a small laugh. “Six years ago, I didn’t think I’d be this lucky.”
Azzi’s grip tightened slightly. “Paige, you deserve this. You deserve everything.”
Paige’s heart swelled, and she closed her eyes, leaning her head against the wall. “You’re everything, Az. I cant wait to see you walk down that aisle.”
“And I can’t wait to marry you,” Azzi whispered.
A moment of silence passed between them, filled only with the quiet sound of their breathing.
Finally, Azzi spoke again. “Okay, I have to go put my dress on now.”
Paige smiled, her head still resting against the wall. “I know you’re going to look so beautiful, Az.”
Azzi’s laugh was like a perfect melody in Paige’s ears. “I love you, P.”
“I love you, too,” Paige replied without hesitation, her voice soft and full of adoration.
Their hands parted reluctantly, and Paige went back to sit down, her chest lighter than it had been all day. She reached for a bottle of water, taking a long sip as a calmness settled over her.
Paige now stood outside the double doors, her heart pounding in her chest. She took a few deep breaths trying to steady herself.
Behind her, Jayden squirmed in Ice’s arms, reaching out toward his mom with a determined pout. His little hands stretched forward, and his soft curly hair bounded as he wriggled in Ice’s arms.
“Paige, he wants you,” Ice said with a grin, already moving to set the toddler down.
Paige bent down as his tiny feet touched the floor, her hands immediately going to straighten his miniature suit. “Hey, buddy,” she said softly, her voice instantly calm as she smoothed the lapels of his jacket.
Jayden beamed up at her, his blue eyes sparkling with excitement, “Mommy,” he said, his voice sweet and slightly wobbly
Paige smiled at him as she booped his nose with her finger. “Hey, little man. Look at you in your suit. You look so handsome. Mama’s gonna love it.”
Jayden grinned proudly, then pointed to the doors. “Mama ‘dere?” he asked, his small finger jabbing in the direction of where Azzi was going to be eventually.
Paige’s heart melted as she nodded. “Yeah, mama’s gonna be in there. But she’s not there yet, she’s waiting for us.”
Jayden tilted his head, his little brow furrowed in thought. “Why?” he asked, the single word clear amidst his toddler babble.
Paige chuckled softly, fixing the curls that had fallen over his forehead just the way Azzi liked it. “Because today’s a special day Jay. Mama and I are getting married.”
Jayden’s eyes widened with the kind of awe only a toddler could muster. “Mawwy?” he repeated, his tone high and curious.
Paige nodded, her smile growing. “Yeah, married. It means we’re gonna be a family forever. You, me, and Mama.”
Jayden clapped his hands together, clearly pleased with the idea. “Jayden, too?” he asked, his words slightly jumbled but unmistakable.
“Of course, Jayden, too,” Paige said, leaning forward to kiss his forehead. “You’re the most important part of this family, you know that?”
Jayden giggled, his small hands reaching up to pat Paige’s cheeks. “Love you, Mommy,” he said suddenly, his little voice bursting with affection.
Paige felt her throat tighten as she pulled him into a quick hug. “I love you, too, Jay. So much.”
From behind her, Ice cleared her throat. “Alright, ma’am, time to stand up. You’ve got a wedding to get to.”
Paige laughed, releasing Jayden reluctantly. She straightened up, brushing off her suit and taking another deep breath. Looking down at Jayden, she gave him a reassuring smile. “You ready?”
Jayden nodded eagerly, excited to see his mama finally.
With one last deep breath, Paige straightened her shoulders, feeling calmer than she had moments ago.
Paige stood at the end of the aisle, her hands nervously crossed in front of her as she waited for Azzi. The soft murmur of the audience faded into the background, and all she could feel was the weight of the moment. On her side of the aisle stood Nika, Ice, KK, and Drew, each of them smiling at her with proud, knowing looks. On Azzi’s side were Caroline, Jon, Jose, and Jana, equally as proud, their faces radiating warmth as they stood together, waiting for the ceremony to begin. Each of them wore the same light magenta in their respective styles, the magenta represented the union of their lives, the perfect balance between purple and pink, of Paige and Azzi.
The guests in the audience were a mix of family, friends, and basketball royalty, each one a piece of Paige and Azzi’s shared journey. Paige could see familiar faces scattered throughout the crowd: their families, their old UConn teammates, UConn alumni, some of their WNBA teammates–old and new–even some players they had never played with but had grown close to, all of these people supported Paige and Azzi through different phases of their careers and their relationship. The room was a true reflection of their journey. The air felt heavy with history and yet it was brimming with hope for the future.
All of a sudden the orchestra began to play, its soft melodies filling the air and soothing the nervous tension in the room. At the front of the aisle, Paige couldn’t help but smile as she saw the first person of the day making his way down the aisle. With his little legs, he moved slowly, but with an adorable determination. He was wearing a little suit that mirrored his uncles, and he was holding his aunt Lauren’s hand. Every now and then, Lauren would hand him a few flowers to toss down the aisle which he thoroughly enjoyed. The crowd cooed at the two-year-old as he made his way toward the front, taking in all the attention with the charm that Paige swore he got from her.
Jay was their perfect miracle. Paige and Azzi had adopted him as soon as both of their rookie contracts were up, and they were finally able to play for the same team in Washington. It had been nothing short of hitting the adoption lottery. With his blue eyes and blonde hair, he looked like a perfect blend of both his moms somehow. His blonde hair was curly like Azzi’s, and his dimples were almost an exact replica of her’s. As he threw flowers along the aisle, occasionally getting distracted by familiar faces in the crowd, Paige couldn’t help but beam with pride.
When Jayden reached the end of the aisle, he attempted to walk toward Paige, his arms reaching out to his mommy. But before he could take another step, Lauren scooped him up, and his pout deepened. The crowd couldn’t help but chuckle at the little boy’s dramatic expression as he was whisked away. Despite the momentary disappointment, he was soon settled in the arms of his grandmother, Katie, who had been eagerly waiting to hold him.
Paige smiled at the adorable scene. Jayden was just like his moms in every way. And Paige felt her heart swell as she watched him interact with the family, knowing this day, this moment, was just the beginning of their future together.
The laughter from the wedding party gradually faded, settling into a peaceful silence that seemed to hold its breath in anticipation. The music, once soft and light, swelled into a more solemn, heartfelt melody. It was time for Azzi to walk down the aisle. As the first few notes of the song filled the air, the entire audience stood in unison, their eyes instinctively shifting toward the doors.
Paige’s heart was pounding in her chest, each beat echoing in her ears as she fought to steady her breath. This is it, she thought, her palms damp against the fabric of her pants. Her heart swelled with love, nervous excitement, and a deep, overwhelming joy. She glanced at her family and friends—Nika, Ice, KK, Drew—all standing at her side. Her gaze then flicked to the guests filling the rows, each face radiating love and warmth, all of them there to witness this monumental moment. Azzi is about to walk toward me. The love of my life is about to walk towards me.
Then the doors opened.
Azzi’s presence filled the room like a wave, drawing every eye, yet somehow the world seemed to narrow. There she was—walking slowly towards Paige, glowing with a quiet confidence, her every step in perfect harmony with the music. The lighting caught her white dress just right, casting a soft, ethereal glow around her. She looked like something out of a dream—angelic, breathtaking.
Paige’s breath hitched, and her heart raced faster as her eyes locked with Azzi’s. Her legs almost gave way beneath her and Drew patted her shoulder chuckling slightly, but she stood tall, transfixed by the sight of the woman she loved. The woman she had waited for. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision, but all she could see was Azzi, walking toward her as if the world had led them here, to this moment.
At the same time Azzi’s thoughts swirled as she took each step. This moment is everything I’ve dreamed of. Fuck she looks so good. My heart beats for her. It always has, always will. Her pulse raced as she scanned Paige’s face. I’ve fought for this love, for her. I’ve seen everything we’ve been through, and it’s been worth it. Every moment, every struggle—this is the culmination of all of it.
Her eyes were locked on Paige as if nothing else existed in the world. There was so much emotion swirling within her—gratitude, awe, love—but most of all, there was a profound peace. This is where I belong. Right here, with her.
As she walked closer, she couldn’t help but smile at Paige’s teary eyes, her heart swelling at the way she was looking at her. She’s everything to me. How did I get so lucky? Her legs felt like they were moving on their own, carried by the sheer force of the love between them.
When Azzi finally reached the altar, Paige’s hands, which had been tightly clasped in front of her, suddenly felt empty. She reached out instinctively, her fingers trembling as she tried to follow through with the practiced firm handshake she was supposed to give Tim. But before she could, Tim pulled her into a tight, heartfelt hug. It was unexpected, but so full of meaning—so full of everything he felt about the woman who was about to marry his daughter. Paige’s arms wrapped around him as she smiled through her tears. She had grown so close to him, and in that moment, it felt like all their shared memories—good and bad—were coming together.
Azzi’s eyes softened as she watched the embrace, her chest tightening with emotion. Her lips curled into a soft smile as she finally took her place beside Paige, her hand sliding into Paige’s like it was meant to be there all along.
Paige helped Azzi settle in front of her, taking Azzi’s hand in hers, feeling the familiar warmth that had comforted her for so long. Azzi handed her flowers to Caroline, a fleeting moment of lightness before their attention fully turned to each other.
They stood there, face to face at last. The weight of the moment settled in their hearts, and the world seemed to slow. As their eyes locked for a few precious seconds, it was as if the room had disappeared. Everything faded away except for the two of them, standing together, ready to begin the rest of their lives.
Azzi’s voice, soft but clear, broke the silence, carrying a tenderness that only Paige could feel. She whispered, so only Paige could hear, but it felt as if the entire room was listening. “You look beautiful P.” Her fingers gently brushed a tear from Paige’s cheek, her touch as delicate as the moment itself.
Paige’s heart swelled, and she blinked away more tears as she whispered back, her voice slightly trembling, “You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, baby.” She swallowed hard, trying to steady herself, but the emotion in her chest was overwhelming.
Before the intimacy of the moment could envelop them entirely, Jayden’s voice rang out from the audience. His little voice echoed with excitement as he saw Azzi standing in front of Paige. “Mama!” he shouted, his chubby little arms reaching for her. He was so happy to see his mother, and his pure joy filled the room, drawing smiles from every corner.
Azzi’s heart fluttered at the sound of his voice, and she winked at him, her eyes softening with affection. Jayden, always a mama’s boy, blushed furiously at the attention from Azzi and immediately hid his face in Katie’s neck. The crowd couldn’t help but laugh, touched by his shyness and his love for his mom.
Paige and Azzi exchanged a glance, their faces breaking into smiles at their son’s antics. They shared a quiet laugh, the kind that only they could understand, before turning back to each other. Their love for Jayden, for each other, was tangible in the air around them—an unspoken bond that only deepened as the moment passed.
The ceremony continued, but the two of them were lost in the love they shared, the life they had built, and the promise of all the moments yet to come.
Paige hadn’t really heard a word CD had said as she officiated the wedding. All Paige could do was stare at Azzi in awe, her heart swelling in her chest. In that moment, everything around her faded—the audience, CD’s voice, the sound of the light music—all she could see was Azzi, standing there before her. Azzi, the woman who had become everything to her. Even after all these years, Paige still looked at her the way she did the first time she realized she loved her—like she was the most beautiful thing on this earth, like she would do anything, give everything, to the girl standing in front of her.
It was now time for the vows, and Paige took a deep breath, steadying herself as her heart raced in her chest. Her voice wavered as she began, but the words came from the deepest place inside her, raw and honest. There were no rehearsed lines, no prepared speeches. She didn’t need them to tell Azzi how much she loved her, how much she meant to her.
“Azzi,” Paige began, her voice trembling slightly, “To put it simply you’re everything to me baby. I didn’t realize it at first, but... when you got to UConn that summer, I thought I was just being a leader, you know doing my job—helping the new girl get comfortable and fit in. But you weren’t like anyone I had ever met.”
Paige paused, her eyes locked with Azzi’s, the love in her gaze unmistakable. “You were this constant, steady presence. And without even trying, you made me trust you more than I’ve ever trusted anyone in my entire life. You had this way of getting under my skin and somehow, you did it without me even realizing what was happening. You became someone I couldn’t imagine life without before I even realized it.”
Paige’s eyes softened, remembering a moment that had changed everything. “And then... you made me watch Frozen for the first time. The movie had been out for like... eleven years at that point, and I’d never seen it because, honestly, who would want to waste time watching a Disney cartoon? I needed to be in the gym. But there you were, trying to put it on because it was your turn to pick the movie, and I looked at you like you were insane.” Paige chuckled softly at the memory, the love in her eyes only growing. “But then... you gave me this look. We were on my bed sitting too close to be just friends, and for the first time, I really saw you. Your eyes. God, your eyes. My breath caught in my throat, and I think that’s when I first really noticed how breathtaking you were.”
Paige’s voice softened as she spoke of that pivotal moment. “Your dimples, your smile, your laugh—everything about you. That was the moment I think I knew. I didn’t admit it to myself then, but something clicked that day. And before I knew it, you had me watching Frozen every week.”
A bittersweet smile crossed Paige’s face. “And then, we fought. God, we fought, and we hurt each other in ways I didn’t think were possible. But even then... even when we weren’t speaking, even when I thought you’d broken my heart and left me, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I’d wonder if you’d eaten, how you were feeling, if you were getting enough sleep, if you were icing your knee or taking care of yourself. I couldn’t stop caring even when I wanted to.”
Paige’s voice faltered for a moment as she fought to control the tears threatening to fall. She looked at Azzi, who stood before her, looking at Paige with such intensity that it made her heart ache. “You’re so beautiful, Azzi,” Paige whispered, her words faltering slightly as she lost herself in the depth of Azzi’s gaze.
But she didn’t stop there. “But it’s not just the way you look... You’re so smart, so much smarter than you give yourself credit for. And you’re so damn stubborn. You fight me tooth and nail for what you believe in, even if it’s something as small as what Jay’s going to wear that day. And I love that about you. You make me feel safe, but you also push me to be better. You call me out when I’m being an idiot, but you do it with so much love. I’ve never met anyone who made me feel like I’m enough just as I am. You taught me that I don’t need to be perfect all the time. That I don’t always need to be in control.”
Paige’s voice cracked a little as she continued. “You’re my balance, Azzi. When I’m all over the place, loud, and impulsive, you ground me. You’re patient when I’m not, calm when I’m chaotic. And somehow, you push me to be better, to be a better version of myself for you and Jay, every single day, without ever making me feel like I have to change who I am.”
Tears brimmed in Paige’s eyes, and she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. “Baby, you’re not just someone I love. You’re my home. My heart. And I thank God every single day that he brought you to me the way he did.”
The room fell silent, and as Paige finished her vows, the emotion in the air was almost tangible. Her eyes never left Azzi’s, and both women had tears glistening in their eyes. The guests, who knew Paige as the composed, often reserved leader, were stunned. This side of her—this vulnerability, this raw, open love—was something most of them had never seen. This moment, though, was different. It was soft, delicate, and full of so much meaning. It was the clearest, most heartfelt expression of Paige’s love for Azzi.
Azzi, her heart swelling with emotion, fought to hold back the tears. She looked at Paige, struggling to find her words. After a long pause, she laughed softly, a slight chuckle escaping her lips despite the tears pooling in her eyes. “I have no idea how I’m going to follow that,” she said, her voice thick with emotion, the crowd chuckling lightly at her attempt to regain composure.
Azzi’s laugh broke the tension, and for a brief moment, it felt like everything had slowed down, as though time itself had stopped to allow them this perfect, unspoken connection.
Azzi takes a deep breath, still a little shaky from the weight of Paige's vows. "Okay," she starts, her voice soft but steady. "First of all, Paige, you're so incredibly annoying."
The crowd chuckles, and Paige rolls her eyes playfully, her smile wide. Azzi glances at her, her teasing grin softening. "But you also have the purest soul I've ever seen. You're selfless, generous, forgiving, and so incredibly caring. And every single day, I hope we’re able to raise a son who has even a fraction of those qualities."
Azzi pauses, her eyes flickering with emotion. "The night you walked into our suite when I moved in... I knew I was done for," she admits, drawing laughter from the audience. "You had this confidence, this charm, this energy that just pulled me in immediately. And, honestly, it almost got me in trouble a few times. Because I had these thoughts and all these feelings I wasn’t supposed to have for my best friend, for my teammate—especially my teammate who had a bit of a reputation."
The room erupts in laughter, and Paige mock-glares at Azzi, who shrugs innocently before continuing. "But the more I got to know you—not Paige Bueckers, the golden girl, but just Paige—the more that attraction turned into something I couldn't even put into words. I saw a side of you that no one else did. You weren’t just cocky and larger-than-life; you were thoughtful, attentive, and so incredibly soft. You showed me sides of yourself that I don’t think anyone else got to see. And those parts of you—they were the ones I fell in love with."
Azzi’s voice trembles slightly as she goes on. "With everyone else, you were carefree, like nothing could touch you. But with me, you let me see your heart. You were vulnerable in a way I know wasn’t easy for you. You trusted me with your fears, your insecurities, the things you tried so hard to keep hidden from the world. And that trust? It means more to me than I could ever say."
Azzi glances at Paige, her expression softening even further. "You made me believe in a kind of love I didn’t think was possible. The kind they write about in poems and movies. The kind of love that doesn't just show up—it stays, no matter what. You never stopped dating me, even after we were together. You used to bring me flowers every week—every single week—and when you couldn’t be there to give them to me in person, you had them shipped to my door. You made sure I never doubted how much I meant to you."
The audience murmurs softly, some wiping away tears, as Azzi’s voice grows steadier. "And it wasn’t just the big gestures. It was the way you made me laugh when I didn’t think I could. The way you remembered every little thing about me, like how I hate the dark but love the gloominess of rain. You made me feel seen in a way I didn’t even know I needed. You loved me in ways I didn’t know were possible."
Azzi pauses to collect herself, a few tears slipping down her cheeks. She lets out a watery laugh. "And somehow, through all of that, you still kept surprising me. You never stopped pushing me to be better, to dream bigger. You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and you stood by me every step of the way. You were my biggest supporter, my safe space, my everything."
Her voice softens even more, and she looks directly at Paige, her gaze unwavering. "You’re not just someone I love, Paige. You’re my best friend, my soulmate, my home. And I thank God every day that he brought you into my life. Because with you, I have everything I could ever need."
By the time Azzi finishes, slow tears are streaming down Paige’s face, her lips trembling as she tries to smile. Azzi steps closer, her thumb brushing the tears from Paige’s cheeks.
In the quiet room, their son Jayden’s sweet little voice pipes up again, breaking the silence. "Mama, Mommy crying!"
The crowd laughs warmly, and Paige lets out a watery laugh of her own, "Yeah, buddy. Happy tears."
After their vows, CD steps forward with a warm smile, gently pulling everyone’s attention back to the ceremony. "Alright," she says, her voice calm yet celebratory. "Now, if you’ll both repeat after me, we’ll make this official."
Azzi and Paige exchange a brief glance, their hands still joined, both visibly brimming with anticipation. They go through the official readings, their voices steady yet filled with emotion, each word cementing their commitment to one another.
When it’s time for the rings, CD turns to Azzi first. "Azzi, do you take Paige to be your wife, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?"
Azzi doesn’t hesitate. She nods, her voice clear and sure. "I do."
Taking the wedding band, she gently slides it onto Paige’s left ring finger, her touch lingering as she finishes. Her eyes meet Paige’s, filled with love and certainty.
CD then turns to Paige. "Paige, do you take Azzi to be your wife, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?"
Paige’s breath catches for a moment, her lips curving into a smile as she says, "I do." Her hand shakes slightly as she picks up the ring, her fingers brushing Azzi’s as she slides it onto her left ring finger. Her voice softens, barely audible except to Azzi. "Forever."
CD looks at them both, her own smile growing as she says, "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you married. You may kiss your wife."
Before Azzi can fully process the words, Paige is already moving, pulling Azzi toward her. Their lips meet in a deep, heartfelt kiss, a culmination of everything they’ve been through and everything they’ve been waiting for. Both of them sigh into the kiss, their arms wrapping around each other as the world melts away.
The crowd erupts into cheers and applause, their families and friends celebrating the long-awaited union. But for Paige and Azzi, in that moment, nothing else matters but the person in their arms—their forever.
As they pull back from the kiss, a ripple of laughter runs through the crowd, drawing Paige and Azzi’s attention to a small commotion near the aisle. Jayden, who had somehow managed to wiggle free from Katie’s grasp, was clumsily making his way up the altar, his tiny legs moving with determined speed.
"Jayden!" Katie whispered out, trying to catch him, but he was already halfway there, his little face beaming with excitement at his mothers.
Paige chuckled, bending down to meet him as he reached the top. "Hey, buddy, what are you doing up here?" she asked, scooping him up effortlessly. But as soon as he was in her arms, Jayden leaned forward, his small hands reaching for Azzi.
"Mamma!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with pure joy.
Azzi laughed softly, stepping closer to take him from Paige’s hands. "You just couldn’t wait, could you?" she murmured, cradling him easily.
Jayden nestled into Azzi’s arms, his tiny fingers brushing her face as he babbled happily, completely oblivious to the significance of the moment. Paige leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Jayden’s temple, her heart full as she took in the sight of their little family.
Together, the three of them turned to face their guests, who were still applauding and cheering. Paige reached for Azzi’s free hand, lacing their fingers together, while Jayden waved excitedly at the crowd, basking in the attention he thought he was getting.
As they began their exit, walking down the aisle as a newly married couple, Jayden’s laughter filled the air, a perfect counterpoint to the joyous celebration around them. The three of them moved in sync, a seamless unit, their love evident to everyone watching.
As they reached the dressing room, Azzi gently shifted Jayden in her arms before setting him down on the carpeted floor. "Alright, Jay," she said with a grin, ruffling his hair. "Go burn off some of that energy while Mommy and I get ready."
He didn’t need any more encouragement. He immediately toddled over to the vanity table, his tiny hands reaching for a brush and a bottle of lotion, his curiosity piqued at their shapes.
Azzi shook her head with a soft laugh. "He's always into something," she said, turning toward Paige, who was already stepping closer.
"Let him," Paige murmured, her voice low as she reached for Azzi's hands, pulling her gently toward her. Without hesitation, Paige leaned in, her lips capturing Azzi's in a slow, deliberate kiss. Her hands slid up Azzi's arms, pulling her closer as her body pressed against hers.
Azzi exhaled softly, her resolve melting as she got lost in the kiss, her hands instinctively resting on Paige’s neck. For a moment, everything else disappeared—their surroundings, the noise from outside the dressing room, even Jayden’s little voice humming in the background. It was just them, tangled in each other, the weight of the day momentarily forgotten.
But then, a soft clattering noise from Jayden’s direction pulled Azzi back to reality. She broke the kiss reluctantly, her forehead pressing against Paige's as she laughed breathlessly. "Paige," she whispered, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and warning, "We can’t. Jay’s right there, baby."
Paige grinned, her lips brushing against Azzi’s again in a teasing peck. "He’s busy," she said, her tone playful.
Azzi shook her head, stepping back slightly but not releasing Paige’s hands. "I know, but if he turns around and sees anything, we’re going to have to explain why Mommy and Mama are glued together."
Paige smirked, her thumb brushing over the back of Azzi's hand. "Fair point," she conceded with a soft laugh, stealing one last quick kiss before stepping back.
They both turned toward Jay, who was now intensely focused on trying to twist the cap off the lotion bottle now. Azzi crossed her arms, shaking her head. "We should probably intervene before he figures out how to make a mess."
Paige chuckled, walking over to scoop Jayden up in one swift motion. "Come here, troublemaker," she said, peppering his cheek with kisses as he giggled and squirmed in her arms.
Azzi watched them with a smile, her heart full as she took in the sight of her wife and son. "Alright," she said, grabbing the garment bag hanging on the nearby chair. "Let’s get ready for the reception before mister here decides to redecorate the room."
With laughter and lighthearted teasing, the three of them prepared for the next part of their perfect day.
The reception was in full swing, a joyful whirlwind of music, dancing, and heartfelt laughter. Azzi and Paige had been glued to each other all evening, their newlywed glow impossible to miss. Jayden had been whisked away earlier by Geno, who proclaimed his role as babysitter with such conviction that even Katie and Tim had no choice but to relent, laughing as they handed over the toddler and his overnight bag.
As the night progressed, Paige’s affection toward Azzi grew bolder, fueled by a steady stream of drinks courtesy of Jon, Jose, and Drew, who had made it their personal mission to keep her glass perpetually full for whatever reason.
Earlier in the evening, as they moved through the crowd, Azzi mingled effortlessly, stopping every so often to chat with family and friends. Paige, however, was focused entirely on her wife, trailing close behind and using every opportunity to whisper suggestive comments into Azzi’s ear.
“Baby, do you realize how good you look tonight?” Paige murmured as they paused near the bar. Her lips brushed against Azzi’s ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
Azzi tried to keep her composure, offering polite smiles to those around them. “Thank you, love. So do you.”
“Hmm, you think so?” Paige teased, her hand resting on the small of Azzi’s back. She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper. “Because I think this dress is unfair. Do you know how hard it is to keep my hands to myself when you look this good?”
Azzi blushed, shooting her a look. “Paige, behave. We’re not alone.”
Paige grinned, unbothered by the warning. “Doesn’t matter. I’m your wife now. Pretty sure that gives me the right to tell you exactly how much I want to peel this dress off you later.”
Azzi’s cheeks burned as she bit back a laugh, shaking her head. “You’re insane.”
“And you’re irresistible,” Paige countered smoothly, her lips brushing against Azzi’s neck just enough to make her catch her breath before lightly smacking Paige’s stomach.
By the time they made it back around to the table, Paige’s teasing had reached new heights. They sat among a group of their old UConn teammates—Nika, KK, Ice, Aubrey, Caroline, Jana, Sarah, and Morgan—all of whom were thoroughly entertained by Paige’s antics.
Azzi was trying her best to engage in the lively conversation about their time in college, but Paige was making it nearly impossible. She kissed Azzi’s arm, then her shoulder, her lips trailing up to her neck as Azzi squirmed slightly in her seat.
"Paige, baby," Azzi whispered softly, attempting to pull back.
"Shh," Paige murmured, brushing her lips against Azzi’s ear. "Just let me kiss you. I’ve been waiting all day for this."
"She’s been waiting all day, Azzi," Nika quipped, laughing as she caught sight of Paige’s antics. "Let the girl have her moment."
Azzi shot her a playful glare. "You’re not helping."
"She’s a lover, what can we say?" KK added with a smirk.
"I can’t help it," Paige declared dramatically, wrapping an arm around Azzi’s waist. "Have you seen her tonight? She’s perfect."
“Okay, Paige, we get it,” Ice teased, raising her glass. “You’re married now. You won.”
"Exactly," Paige said, her voice dropping as she leaned closer to Azzi again. Her hand slid to Azzi’s thigh under the table, her lips brushing against her ear. "And later, when we’re alone, I promise I’m going to show you just how much I love you."
Azzi’s breath hitched, and she gently pushed Paige’s hand away. "Paige," she murmured, her voice firm but affectionate. "Not here baby."
Paige pouted, but the glint in her eye remained mischievous. "You’re no fun," she teased, resting her head on Azzi’s shoulder as the table erupted in laughter.
"You would think after all these years Paige wouldn’t still be this horny," Jana remarked, grinning from ear to ear.
Azzi laughed, her shoulders shaking as she responded, "I knew I was never going to get a break from day one, but I’ve learned to accept it," she added, looking at Paige.
"She’s going to tear into you," Aubrey said, shaking her head with a grin.
"You don’t say," Azzi replied dryly, though the fondness in her tone was unmistakable.
As the conversation continued, Paige remained firmly attached to Azzi, her lips brushing against her neck and cheek whenever she thought no one was looking. Azzi did her best to stay composed, but her teammates saw through it, exchanging amused glances.
"Azzi," Caroline teased, raising an eyebrow. "How are you even still upright right now?"
Azzi laughed, giving Paige’s hand a light squeeze. "It’s not easy, trust me," she replied, her gaze softening as she looked at her wife.
Paige grinned, pressing another kiss to Azzi’s cheek. "Good thing you’re strong, then," she murmured, her voice low enough that only Azzi could hear.
"Good thing I love you," Azzi replied, shaking her head as Paige beamed at her, utterly unapologetic.
The two of them had drifted away from the group trying to get a moment alone amidst all the chaos. They were now tucked into a quieter corner table, the low lighting casting a warm glow over their entwined figures. Paige was still draped over Azzi, her lips brushing against her neck and collarbone as her hand rested possessively on Azzi’s thigh. By now, Azzi, having indulged in her fair share of drinks, was no longer holding back. She leaned fully into Paige’s affection, a soft, pleased smile tugging at her lips.
Azzi leaned into Paige’s touch, her breath quickening as Paige’s fingers gently tugged at the fabric of her dress. She let out a soft, pleased hum, feeling the heat between her legs intensify. Her hand found its way into Paige’s hair, gently pulling her closer, encouraging her to kiss the sensitive spot just beneath her ear.
“You’re killing me, you know that?” Azzi whispered, her voice thick with desire as she tilted her head, giving Paige more access.
Paige’s lips brushed over Azzi’s skin, her voice low and urgent. “I can’t stop,” she murmured, fingers lightly tugging at the fabric of Azzi’s dress again, her touch sending sparks through Azzi’s body. “You feel so good, just like this.”
Azzi’s breath caught, and she leaned in, her lips brushing against Paige’s ear. “You make me feel good, too,” she purred, the warmth of her breath sending a shiver down Paige’s spine.
Paige’s eyes darkened, the intensity of her gaze never leaving Azzi’s. Her fingers moved higher on Azzi’s thigh, inching dangerously close to where they both wanted her touch the most. “You’re so perfect,” Paige whispered, her lips grazing the side of Azzi’s neck again, her words dripping with want. “I can’t wait to feel all of you in my hand.”
Azzi’s body responded immediately, her chest rising and falling with shallow breaths as she bit her lip, fighting the urge to close the space between them completely with them still being in public. “You’ve been teasing me all night,” she murmured, her voice coming out breathlessly as she met Paige’s eyes. “I don’t know how much longer I can stand it.”
Paige’s lips found Azzi’s neck again, this time lingering there, pressing slow kisses along the skin. Her fingers traced the hem of Azzi’s dress, slipping under it just slightly as she tugged the fabric again, a subtle but clear request for more.
Azzi let out a low moan, her hand gripping Paige’s shoulder as she gave in to the temptation. “Paige...” she whispered, her voice rough with desire. “I can’t wait, baby. I want you. Right now.”
Paige’s breath hitched at the sound of Azzi’s words, the intensity of her longing for her wife growing. “God, Azzi,” she murmured, her lips brushing against her wife’s ear again, voice thick with need. “You have no idea what I wanna do to you.”
Azzi purred softly, her fingers now threading through Paige’s hair, tugging her face closer, her lips meeting Paige’s in a desperate, desperate kiss. “I think I do,” she whispered between kisses. “And I love every second of imagining it.”
Paige responded with a hum of satisfaction, her hand sliding higher on Azzi’s thigh, pulling her even closer. Their bodies moved against each other, the urgency of their desire palpable in their kiss. Neither of them could get enough.
But just as their kiss deepened, the air around them changed with a loud laugh echoing from the main reception area, shattering their intimate bubble. The sound cut through the haze of desire, pulling their attention back to reality.
Azzi broke the kiss, her eyes flicking to Paige, a mischievous smile tugging at her lips. “Guess we’re not alone after all,” she murmured, reluctantly pulling back just enough to meet Paige’s gaze.
Paige let out a frustrated sigh, her fingers still tracing the curve of Azzi’s thigh. “Too bad,” she said, her voice low and husky, though there was a playful spark in her eyes. “I was just starting to enjoy myself.”
Azzi chuckled softly, resting her forehead against Paige’s for a brief moment before pulling back to glance toward the reception. “Me too,” she agreed, though the fire in her eyes remained undiminished.
Both women groaned softly, reluctant to return to the party. Paige rested her forehead against Azzi’s again for a moment, her voice quiet but firm. “This isn’t over,” she murmured, her lips brushing against Azzi’s.
Azzi smirked, her thumb brushing over Paige’s cheek. “It better not be,” she whispered, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
Their stolen moment left them both buzzing, hearts racing as they turned their attention back to the lively reception, counting down the moments until they could finally be alone.
When they finally reached their hotel room, the door had barely clicked shut before Paige spun Azzi around and pressed her firmly against it. The force of the move drew a startled gasp from Azzi, her back hitting the wood as Paige’s long fingers wrapped possessively around her throat.
Their lips immediately collided in a messy, passionate kiss, all restraint from earlier completely gone now. Paige’s movements were uncoordinated but intense, her need for Azzi clear as their tongues tangled. Azzi moaned into her mouth, her hands gripping Paige’s shoulders for balance, completely lost in the moment.
Paige didn’t waste a second. Her knee slid between Azzi’s legs, pressing up just enough to draw a sharp inhale from her wife. Azzi panted against Paige’s lips, her head tipping back slightly as Paige broke the kiss and began trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down her neck.
“You look so good like this ma,” Paige whispered against Azzi’s skin, her voice a mix of slur and desire. Her teeth grazed Azzi’s collarbone before her lips followed, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. “Do you know how long I’ve been thinking about this? About making you mine like this?”
Azzi shuddered, her hands clutching the fabric of Paige’s shirt as she let out a soft laugh, her voice shaky but teasing. “You’re acting like you haven’t already had me a million times,” she murmured, her words broken by a gasp as Paige’s knee pressed harder against her.
Paige smirked against her neck, her grip on Azzi’s throat tightening ever so slightly. “Not like this baby,” she murmured, her voice thick with intent. “This is different. You’re my wife now. Forever mine.”
Paige’s words hung in the air, thick with promise, but before she could fully process the weight of them, Azzi’s hands were on her shoulders, pulling her in for another kiss. This one was frantic, desperate—a reflection of both their needs, the alcohol still thick on their breaths as they kissed wildly. Their lips barely met before they pulled away, only to crash together again. The kiss was messy, unrefined, but that was the point—it was as if neither of them could get close enough, couldn’t have enough of the other after today.
Azzi’s fingers tightened in Paige’s hair as she broke the kiss, panting against her lips. “You’re mine too, Paige,” Azzi breathed out, voice ragged. “Forever.”
Paige’s heart raced at the sound of Azzi’s declaration, but Azzi wasn’t done. She pushed gently against Paige’s shoulders, urging her to kneel before her. Paige didn’t hesitate, following the command without question. She sank to her knees in front of Azzi, eyes dark with desire as she looked up at her wife.
Azzi took a small step back, then looked down at Paige, her own eyes dark and needy. Without missing a beat, she ran her fingers through Paige’s hair, guiding her forward. Paige’s lips trailed up Azzi’s legs, leaving kisses as she went, the sensation sending tremors through Azzi’s body.
Azzi’s breath hitched with every kiss. “God, Paige,” she gasped, her voice shaky as Paige’s lips pressed against her thighs as she pushed her dress up, leaving marks in their wake. Each kiss made her more vocal, unable to hold back the sounds of pleasure bubbling up from deep within her. Her fingers tightened in Paige’s hair as she pulled her closer, desperate for more.
Paige’s lips moved higher, leaving teasing kisses up the inside of Azzi’s thigh. “Imma make you feel so good baby,” Paige muttered against her skin, the words almost reverent. She wasn’t just speaking, she was showing it—the pressure of her lips and hands as she kissed Azzi’s thinly covered center, fueling the desire that had been building since the moment they stepped into the room.
Azzi’s body shivered with each kiss. “Fuck, Paige,” she breathed, her voice raw. She ran her fingers through Paige’s hair, pulling impossibly closer to her as she looked down at her wife. “You don’t even know how much I need you right now.”
Paige responded with a low groan as she pushed her underwear to the side, her lips and tongue brushing against Azzi, this time slower, more deliberate, as she gazed up at her wife through her hooded blue eyes. “Nah baby I can tell. You taste so good for me.”
Azzi’s breath catches in her throat, her chest rising and falling with each labored inhale. She runs her fingers through Paige’s hair, tugging her closer, as if desperate for more. “You make it so hard to think, Paige…” Azzi whispers, her voice shaky. “Every time you look at me like that, I forget everything. I forget who I am.”
Paige smiles, as she continues her work as Azzi grinds her hips into Paige trying to create more friction despite Paige lapping at her like she hadn’t had Azzi in years. “Baby, fuck, you feel so good” Azzi whimpers. Paige simply hums at this as she drapes Azzi’s leg over her shoulder to drive her tongue in deeper.
Azzi throws her head back against the door, gripping Paige’s head and anything else she can to steady herself. With her voice low and breathy and tinged with awe she says, “Mmm I knew you’d be like this tonight–Fuck baby don’t stop–I love it when you fuck me like this baby. Feels so good.”
Azzi’s words spur Paige on more as she continues her work expertly, knowing exactly what Azzi likes after all these years. The pressure of Paige’s tongue makes Azzi’s breath catch, her eyes fluttering closed as she becomes overwhelmed with the feeling but she leans into it, pushing her hips towards Paige as the tension coils tighter in her stomach.
Azzi is basically riding Paige’s face as Paige looks up at her mumbling, “You gonna come for me baby?”
She makes the mistake of looking down at Paige whose mouth is wet and her pupils are completely dilated. Azzi immediately throws her head back as she starts making pornographic sounds with her throat, “Mmm fuck Paige baby–No…no not yet baby. Fuck I don’t want it to end you’re doing so good.”
This only spurs Paige on more at her wife not wanting to come undone for her so she drives her tongue deeper as she works her thumb in circles. Azzi’s body trembles, her eyes now watching Paige despite every instinct inside her wanting her to look away. She’s fighting the pull of pleasure that wants her to come undone right at this moment even though she knows Paige doesn’t like that.
Azzi’s eyes are blurry now as she tries to keep herself under control for a few more seconds but Paige curls her tongue a certain way and Azzi finds releasing the tension in her stomach, “Yes…yes right there baby… don’t stop baby. Right there please. I’m ready to cum for you baby” Azzi gasps her body arching off of the door as she feels a wave of sensation crashing through her as her mouth falls open in pure bliss, her legs shaking as Paige holds her up.
Before Azzi can fully recover Paige is kissing up her body leaving open mouth kisses in Azzi’s favorite spots. Once she reaches her lips Paige immediately pulls Azzi in for a kiss, putting her tongue in her wifes mouth so she can taste herself causing Azzi to moan.
As their kiss deepens, Paige’s hands slide down Azzi’s body, one of them drifting behind her, fingers grazing her spine. And with a slight tug, she unzips Azzi’s dress, the sound of the zipper scraping against the fabric filling the air between them. Azzi moans into the kiss as the fabric loosens exposing her back to the air, before Paige pulls it down with ease, revealing the purple lingerie beneath. The sight makes Paige’s breath hitch, her eyes darkening further if possible as she gazes at her wife standing in front of her.
Azzi's hands press firmly against Paige’s chest, gently pushing her back toward the bed, her lips swollen and flushed, her breathing ragged. "Get on the bed for me, baby," Azzi demands in a voice thick with need, her hands already moving to the buttons of Paige’s shirt before she just pulls at the fabric with urgency, the buttons flying off in every direction, scattering across the floor.
Paige lets out a breathy laugh, the moment only spurring her desire. She stands still, letting Azzi remove the shirt, her skin now exposed except for the tight-fitting tank top she’s wearing underneath. Azzi runs her hands over Paige’s bare skin, her fingers grazing over her ribs, before locking eyes with her and dragging her hand down her torso. “You look so good, baby,” Azzi whispers, her voice low, full of hunger and admiration.
Paige smiles, her heart racing, as she climbs onto the bed, pulling Azzi along with her. Azzi follows, crawling up to her in the most seductive way as she moves with an almost hypnotic rhythm that makes Paige want to take her right there again and again. When Azzi finally straddles Paige, the sight is enough to send Paige’s heart into overdrive. Her breath catches as she whispers, "You have no idea what you do to me. Even after all these years.”
Azzi’s lips curled into a teasing smile, her confidence radiating as she leaned down to press her mouth against Paige’s neck. She moved slowly, her kisses deliberate and sensual, each one igniting a trail of shivers that coursed through Paige’s body. Azzi had perfected this art over time, each touch an unspoken testament to how well she knew Paige—every sensitive spot, every little weakness.
Her long hair tumbled to one side, the strands brushing against Paige’s skin and adding to the electric intimacy of the moment. Azzi kissed her way lower, unhurried, savoring the effect she was having as Paige’s breath quickened, her body instinctively arching into Azzi’s.
When Azzi’s hands found their way to Paige’s belt, her movements were smooth and practiced, each motion deliberate, carrying the weight of countless nights like this, where Azzi had mastered the balance of teasing and taking control. With a flick of her fingers, the belt came undone, her slow pace almost maddening, a silent assertion of her dominance in this moment which started as soon as she had Paige on her knees for her. Paige’s breath hitched, a sound that sent a satisfied smirk spreading across Azzi’s lips.
The way Azzi carried herself now, every kiss, every touch, was brimming with the ease of someone who knew exactly what she was doing. Their years together had transformed their intimacy into something deeper, richer—a choreography of passion honed by countless nights of exploration and learning each other’s bodies.
“Still with me, baby?” Azzi whispered against Paige’s skin, her voice velvet-soft but dripping with confidence, knowing full well that Paige was at her mercy.
Paige throws her head back in pleasure, her hands gripping the sheets. In that moment, she realizes how completely she’s fallen into Azzi’s orbit—how grateful she is that she crossed that line with her all those years ago. That night, when she had first given in to Azzi's pull, back when they were just friends, and how it changed everything between them. Now, after everything they’ve been through, after their wedding, this moment felt like the perfect culmination of everything they had built together. She’s never been this sure, this needy for someone in the way she is for Azzi..
“God, Azzi,” Paige breathes out, her voice raw with desire as she lifts her hips slightly, giving Azzi more access.
Azzi grins, pulling the belt free with a soft tug before gliding her hands under the waistband of Paige’s pants. The anticipation is almost unbearable, and yet, Azzi takes her time, savoring every second. “You’re my wife now,” Azzi murmurs, her voice low and full of intention, as her hands slowly inch the fabric down.
The words send a rush of heat through Paige, and for a split second, she’s left wondering how she ever lived without this intensity, this connection. The thought lingers, and she shivers in anticipation as Azzi finally pulls the pants down, exposing more of Paige’s skin.
Azzi runs her hands over Paige’s legs, feeling the warmth of her body, the soft curves beneath her fingertips. The contact is electric, and it’s almost too much for Paige to handle. "God Azzi, I don’t know how you make me feel like this," Paige manages to gasp, lifting her hips again, silently begging Azzi to take control, to take her.
Azzi pauses, her gaze locking with Paige’s, her eyes dark with desire. “Let me show you,” Azzi whispers, leaning down to kiss her again. But this time, it’s slower—deeper. Azzi’s lips trace the curve of Paige’s jaw, down her neck, stopping to leave a trail of heated kisses that make Paige’s pulse quicken.
Each kiss is a promise, each touch a question Azzi asks without words. Paige can’t help but respond, her hands reaching for Azzi’s bra, unclasping it free from her body, desperate to feel her bare skin against hers. The fabric falls to the floor, and Paige’s fingers wander to the skimpy waistband of Azzi’s underwear, mimicking the way Azzi had undressed her moments ago, eager to return the pleasure.
Azzi’s lips find their way to Paige’s ear, where she whispers, “You want me again, don’t you? Want me as much as I want you?”
Paige nods, her breathing ragged as she pulls Azzi closer, wrapping her legs around her waist. “More than anything,” she whispers back, her voice trembling with the intensity of the moment.
Azzi pulls back just enough to meet her eyes again, her gaze softening for a moment, a glimmer of affection mixed with the raw desire between them. “You have me, Paige. All of me…forever.” Then she kisses her deeply once more, taking the time to savor the connection between them, each kiss a declaration of everything they’ve built, everything they’re about to share.
The weight of everything settles in as Paige pulls Azzi close, the years of being apart, of growing their family together, and the joy of finally, fully being together. This moment is everything they’ve worked for, everything they’ve fought for. And as their hands trace each other’s bodies, as they continue to lose themselves in each other, Paige realizes that this is it—the final chapter. Their journey, their story, culminating here, in this moment of complete love and understanding. It’s not just the start of a new life together; it’s the closing of a long, beautiful journey.
As the kiss lingers between them, soft and filled with everything they’ve learned about each other, about love, the two of them finally fall into the peace that only being truly with each other can bring. There are no more games, no more uncertainties, just the two of them, completely and utterly intertwined in a love that has lasted years, and will continue forever.

Can you do a Nika Muhl x Reader where reader is pregnant, and they meet up with Nika’s UConn teammates, and they find out Nika and reader are going to have a baby. (Hope this makes sense!)
i tried for this one...
FOR REAL?? - N.M.
Tumblr media
"I'm pregnant."
Those words, I thought would never leave my mouth. Based off the way Nika was looking at me, she thought the same.
"Wait?" Quickly, she pushed herself off the couch. Her hands resting on my arms as she got closer, "You're being for real?"
I nod, watching her face light up with excitement. We had talked about it, having kids. But so soon? I couldn't lie and say it didn't scare me.
"Oh my God. We have to start coming up with names, oh, and buying things for her...or him...shit. When can we find out the gender?" Her rambling came to a stop, her eyes finally meeting mine rather than trying to scan the room for a plan. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
I chuckle. The fear of the pregnancy wasn't gone, but watching Nika and listening to her joyous rant, I couldn't help but forget for a moment. "Nothing...I just couldn't have asked for someone better to go through this with."
A content smile rested on the Croatian's lips, "We're in this together. Besides," I tilted my head, waiting for her next words, "I can't wait for a mini us walking around here."
I laugh, "Nika, I love you."
Her arms snake around me, pulling me closer into her embrace, "I love you too, y/n."
-----------
"Have you decided if you're declaring for the draft or not?" Geno's voice carried throughout the room, his question had been one of the biggest things rolling through Nika's mind.
"I've decided," her head turned back, her eyes finding me, "I think it's time I move on from UConn. Start my life outside of college."
Geno nods, "alright, kiddo. Whatever you think is best."
I knew Nika had a weight taken off her shoulder. She had made up her mind, but she didn't tell me exactly why she had made her decision. Nika's hand on the small of my back pulled me back to reality. The thoughts calming at the comforting touch. Her smile big as we moved towards the gym, her teammates practicing away.
"I wanna break the news to the team," I nod. It was probably best if they knew they were losing their best point guard.
The teams heads cocked in our direction, the doors giving us a way before we even stepped foot into the large area. Paige was the first one to make her way towards us, her smile big as a question left her lips. "What was your decision, twin?"
Without a thought, Nika answered, "I'm declaring."
"Why? Like two days ago you thought about staying," Azzi asked as stopped beside the blonde.
"Well," Nika looked at me, her expression unreadable, "y/n's pregnant...and I wanna be able to give her a place to stay that isn't a dorm room. I wanna have space for the kid, I wanna get our life moving."
Surprise was the only thing I could read on everyone's faces, probably including mine. I hadn't expected to tell anyone about the pregnancy, at least not yet.
"WHAT?!?"
"I didn't know we were telling them today, " I whispered into my girlfriend's ear, but she just looked at me and smiled, "Nika."
"Yes?"
I didn't know whether to feel relieved or angry. Angry at the fact she let her mouth speak before her mind could make up its thoughts. Spewing at our personal life. But something in the way she couldn't help but wanna tell everyone, it made the anger subside. She was ecstatic. She wanted this. A family.
"You're impossible."
Her smile grew. Whether she was expecting me to yell or to pull the 'we'll talk later' card; it was neither of them. Her support and excitement made all the second thoughts, the worries, whatever you wanna call it, go away. She was anchoring me to reality without knowing it.
"You love that about me," she wasn't wrong, "but to be fair, you love everything about me."
As her friends chattered among themselves, we had a moment to ourselves in the public eye. It didn't feel like it, we were in our own little bubble. Her hands on my waist, my arms stretched and around her neck; nothing could have been better. We didn't have to say anything, just looking in each other's eyes was enough to feel, to hear, to see what she was feeling.
"You know there's other people here?" The blonde's voice broke the barrier hiding us from the rest of the world. Laughter rung out through the gym, echoing off the walls.
"Yeah, yeah," Nika's hands fell, but one of her arms slid around to hold me from around my waist. "Y'all just jealous we got something real."
Azzi and Paige take a glance at each other before bursting out into laughter.
"That's not quite it," Azzi started.
"It's more like, we see the look in y'all's eyes and don't wanna be around when whatever y'all are thinking about gets released," I felt my face heat up.
I wasn't thinking about anything bad necessarily. Just what it would be like to be a parent with Nika by my side.
"What were you thinking about, bebo?" Nika's voice was soft, her smile the same.
"Just what it's gonna be like to be a mom...with you."
She nods, "I was thinking the same thing, y/n. And Paige," the blonde hummed in response, "get your mind out of the gutter."
Paige raised her hands in surrender. Nika tapped my lower back, signaling to follow her.
Once we got into an isolated area, Nika lips were on mine. Soft and sweet, the exact way she was.
"What was that for?"
Nika shrugged, "I love you."
"I love you too," our hands interlocked, "you okay?"
"I'm more than okay. I'm just...I'm just so happy to be with you. To go through this with you," a pink shade dusted her cheeks.
"You're adorable like this..."
She rolled her eyes, "let's not do that now."
I laughed, "you are...but I feel the same way. Everything just feels better with you."
No more words were shared, just a deepened feeling of appreciation for each other. I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

Title: Triple Threat
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Reader x Azzi Fudd x Paige Bueckers
Fandom: UConn Women’s Basketball
Warning: Alcohol consumption, mild angst, poly themes
Summary: drunk would you rather…
I always knew an away win felt different, but this? This felt legendary. Our last away game of the regular season had just ended in a blowout win, and we were riding that high all the way back to Storrs. The locker room was chaos—music blasting, sweaty hugs, water bottles flying like champagne in a victory parade. Coach even cracked a smile, which was rarer than a missed Paige Bueckers jumper.
Azzi found me in the post-game mess, arms slipping around my waist as she grinned up at me. “You played insane tonight,” she said, pressing a quick kiss to my cheek. “Might be my favorite game of yours yet.”
“Just trying to keep up with my girl,” I teased, tugging on the collar of her jersey.
Azzi’s smile turned smug, but before she could get another word out, Ice Brady clapped me on the back so hard I almost stumbled. “Celebration tonight. No excuses.”
“Who’s making excuses?” I shot back.
A few hours later, freshly showered and changed, we were in one of our teammate’s apartments, music bumping, drinks flowing. The whole team was here, plus some extras—friends, roommates, even a couple guys from the men’s team.
And me? Well, I was well past tipsy.
Azzi was right there with me, laughing into her drink as we sat together on the couch, her legs draped over mine. She was warm, soft, familiar. I leaned into her touch, but my eyes kept darting across the room to where Paige was sitting, long legs stretched out, her own drink swirling in her hand as she smirked at something KK Arnold was saying.
It wasn’t new. This feeling.
I’d buried it for a while, tucked it behind the warmth I had with Azzi. But maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was the way Paige’s eyes kept flicking to mine, holding for just a second too long before looking away, but suddenly, it felt impossible to ignore.
Somebody—probably Nika—yelled, “Would you rather!” and the room exploded in cheers.
Azzi perked up beside me, laughing as she turned toward the circle forming in the middle of the room. “We playing?”
I was already being dragged into it.
The questions started off tame. Would you rather give up basketball or social media? Would you rather have Coach make you run suicides for a month or give a speech at a press conference with no prep?
Then it got real.
“Would you rather,” Nika started, smirking as she locked eyes with me, “kiss Paige or Azzi?”
The room exploded.
Azzi stiffened beside me. Paige leaned forward, eyebrows raised in curiosity, like she wanted to know the answer just as bad as everyone else.
I tried to laugh it off, but the words slipped out before I could stop them. “Why not both?”
Silence.
Then, chaos.
Everyone was screaming, shouting, hyping up the mess I just created. Azzi’s grip on my thigh tightened, her eyes flicking to Paige’s, then back to me. Paige? She was just staring, lips parted like she couldn’t believe I actually said it.
“Damn, girl,” KK whistled. “Didn’t know you were greedy.”
“I—” My tongue felt thick in my mouth. “I didn’t mean—”
But I did mean it. And Azzi knew it.
She turned to look at me, really look, and I knew I was caught. The thing is, Azzi’s smart. She notices things before I even realize them myself. And right now? I knew she was piecing together every lingering glance, every slip of the tongue, every moment where Paige and I danced a little too close around each other.
She exhaled. “We need to talk.”
Paige straightened. “All of us.”
We ended up in Azzi’s room, sitting in a stiff, awkward triangle on her bed. I’d sobered up real quick.
“So,” Paige said slowly, voice careful. “You wanna explain?”
I ran a hand down my face. “I—shit. I wasn’t trying to make it a thing—”
“But it is a thing, isn’t it?” Azzi cut in, her voice quieter, steadier. “You’ve thought about it before.”
I swallowed. “Yeah.”
Azzi nodded, staring down at her hands. “And Paige?”
Paige sucked in a breath. “I mean—” She rubbed the back of her neck. “Yeah. It’s not like I haven’t thought about it, but I never—Azzi, I would never try to come between you two.”
Azzi bit her lip, thinking.
“You’re not mad?” I asked her.
She shook her head. “No. I’m just—processing.” She looked between us. “I love you. And I know you love me, but I also know that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for… other things.”
I felt like I couldn’t breathe. “Azzi, I don’t want to lose you.”
“You’re not going to.”
Paige watched us carefully, hesitant. “Are we actually—talking about this? Like, for real?”
Azzi let out a small laugh, like she couldn’t believe it either. “I think we are.”
I looked between them, my chest tight. “I don’t want to hurt either of you.”
Paige shrugged. “Then don’t.”
“It’s not that simple.”
“But maybe it is,” Azzi said softly. “Maybe we just… try.”
Paige exhaled. “You sure about that?”
Azzi looked at me, eyes full of something deep and certain. “I love you,” she said. “I trust you. And I trust Paige, too.” She glanced at Paige, smiling slightly. “You think you can handle both of us?”
Paige’s lips curved. “I know I can.”
I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding.
Maybe this was crazy. Maybe this was something we’d crash and burn trying to figure out. But right now, sitting between the two people I cared about most, with the possibility of something new, something real—
I was willing to take the risk.

All Falls Down
pt.1
drug-dealer!paige x azzi fic. there will be smut and violence soo boom. also there are sum be plot holes. might fix them later or wtv
The dorm felt smaller than usual. The four white walls that once held nothing but good memories now felt like a prison closing in on Azzi. She sat on the edge of the bed, phone in hand, bouncing her leg so fast her knee nearly knocked over the water bottle on the floor. Her other hand was clenched into a fist, nails digging into her palm so hard they left little crescent moons in her skin.
“Shit bad rn. Don’t wait up.”
That was the last text Paige sent her. That was an hour ago.
Azzi had tried calling—once, twice, five times—but Paige wasn’t picking up. Wasn’t texting back. And that wasn’t like her.
Her stomach was in knots. Paige had been moving reckless lately, thinking she was invincible. She’d always been like that—so sure of herself, so certain she couldn’t lose. But Azzi knew better. Nobody ran the game forever.
She rubbed a hand over her face and tried to calm herself, but her brain wouldn’t stop spinning. The last time she saw Paige, they argued.
“You gotta stop this, P,” Azzi had pleaded, standing in front of the door so Paige couldn’t leave.
Paige had just smirked, tilting her head like Azzi was talking crazy. “Relax, baby. I got us.”
“No, you don’t!” Azzi had snapped, surprising even herself with how loud she got. “You think you untouchable, but you not! You just lucky, and luck gon’ run out!”
Paige had stepped forward, cupping Azzi’s face like she could hold all her worries in her hands. “Ain’t no luck, Z. It’s just me. I know what I’m doing.”
But Azzi knew that was a lie. If Paige really knew what she was doing, she wouldn’t be out right now, in the streets, moving shit like she wasn’t the most recognizable person on campus. UConn’s golden girl, National Player of the Year, everybody’s favorite. A face like hers wasn’t supposed to be in the trap.
But she was.
And now, she was missing.
Azzi’s hands were shaking. She unlocked her phone again, scrolling through their texts, trying to make sense of something—anything. Maybe she missed a sign. Maybe she could find a clue.
That’s when a new text popped up on her screen.
“They got her.”
Her breath hitched. Her entire body went still.
Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, heart slamming against her ribs so hard she thought it might crack.
“Who?? Where?? Stop playing w me.”
No answer.
Azzi jumped up so fast her chair scraped against the floor. She grabbed her keys, already halfway out the door, when a voice stopped her.
“Azzi, chill,” Nika said, stepping into the hallway. Her voice was low, serious in a way that made Azzi’s stomach twist even more. “It’s bad, bro.”
Azzi turned to her, eyes wide. “Bad how? Where’s Paige? What happened?”
Aaliyah stepped out behind Nika, arms crossed, looking at the floor like she couldn’t even bring herself to say it.
Nika licked her lips, hesitating. “Cops got her.”
Azzi’s world tilted.
She grabbed Nika’s arm, gripping so tight her fingers turned white. “What?”
“She got caught up, Z. That drop she was making? It was a setup. They had been watching her for weeks.”
Azzi’s breath came in short gasps. “No. No, no, no, no. She’s smart. She don’t make mistakes like that—”
“She slipped,” Nika cut in, voice hard. “They don’t make mistakes.”
Azzi felt her knees go weak. “Fuck.”
Her head was spinning. Paige. In jail. Paige, who promised she had everything under control. Paige, who swore she’d never let it get this far. Paige, who was now sitting in a holding cell, probably scared as hell, waiting for a miracle that wasn’t coming.
Azzi backed up, shaking her head. “No. No, we gotta do something. We gotta—”
“Ain’t no bail,” Aaliyah muttered. “They hit her with real shit. Intent to distribute. Conspiracy. She ain’t just getting out, Azzi.”
Azzi’s hands curled into fists. “No. That’s bullshit. She didn’t—she wouldn’t—”
“She did,” Nika interrupted. “You know she did.”
And that’s what broke her.
Azzi turned on her heel and ran.
She didn’t know where she was going, but she had to move, had to do something.
She burst out of the dorm into the cold night air, heart hammering in her chest. She ran until her lungs burned, until the tears streaming down her face blurred her vision.
She ended up at the only place that made sense.
-
The trap house was dark, but she knew someone was inside. She banged on the door so hard her knuckles ached.
“Open the fuck up!”
Footsteps. Then the door cracked open, a chain still locking it in place. A familiar face peeked through.
“Damn, Azzi. You loud as fuck.”
“Where the fuck is T?” she snapped.
A pause. Then the door unlatched.
She pushed past the guy, stepping into the dimly lit living room. The place smelled like weed and bad decisions. T was sitting on the couch, rolling a blunt like he wasn’t the reason her world was falling apart.
“You set her up,” Azzi said, voice shaking.
T glanced up, completely unfazed. “Nah.”
“Bullshit.”
He sighed, setting the blunt down. “Nobody set her up, Z. She got sloppy. That’s on her.”
Azzi clenched her fists, ready to swing. “You knew. You knew the cops was on her ass, and you ain’t say shit!”
T exhaled through his nose. “Wasn’t my business.”
“Fuck you!” she screamed, lunging at him.
Somebody grabbed her before she could connect, arms locking around her waist, dragging her back.
“Get the fuck off me!” she yelled, kicking, struggling, but they wouldn’t let go.
T just shook his head. “Ain’t no point in all that. She knew what it was.”
Azzi’s chest heaved. “You don’t care at all, huh?”
He didn’t answer.
She yanked herself free, glaring at all of them—Paige’s so-called “business partners,” the same people who let her fall without a second thought.
“She ain’t built for this,” Azzi muttered. “And y’all knew that.”
Still, nobody said shit.
Azzi turned and walked out.
-
The next morning, Azzi sat outside the jail, waiting for visitation hours. She hadn’t slept. Had barely breathed.
When they finally let her in, she damn near ran to the booth.
And there she was.
Paige.
She looked… different.
Her hair was messy, dark circles under her eyes. She looked exhausted. But when she saw Azzi, she managed a small, tired smirk.
“Hey, baby.”
Azzi’s vision blurred with tears. She grabbed the phone. “Paige.”
Paige leaned forward, pressing her hand against the glass. Azzi mirrored it, wishing she could touch her.
“I’m so fucking sorry,” Paige whispered.
Azzi sniffled, shaking her head. “Why’d you do it, P?”
Paige sighed, running a hand through her hair. “I wanted to take care of us. I wanted more for us. And I thought I had it figured out.”
Azzi bit her lip, trying to hold herself together. “Now what?”
Paige’s face fell. “I don’t know.”
Azzi closed her eyes, tears slipping down her cheeks.
They sat in silence, hands pressed to the glass, both of them breaking in their own ways.
All that time, Paige thought she was building something for them.
But in the end, all she did was tear it down.
note: this ended up being not mini whatsoever and has 12 parts so boom. ima try to release them all within 2 days. but i have a life so shit might get in the way. dont hold it against me😟
smut will be in later chapters

We're just friends, right?
This is my first time writing a story so I'm sorry if it's no good 😅. Let me know what you guys think! Find my masterlist here :) Pairing(s): Azzi Fudd x female!reader Word count: 2.3k+ Summary: Y/N is head over heels for her best friend Azzi and doesn't think Azzi likes her back. Turns out she's wrong. ------------
Y/N's POV: I chuckle, hearing Paige and KK mess around on Instagram live on the other side of the room. “Ayo, was that Y/N?” KK says, reading someone’s chat from where she’s sitting on the floor. “Guys, say hi!” Paige says before turning the camera to KK’s bed, where I’m laying between Azzi’s legs. I wave at chat with a grin, hearing Azzi say hi from behind me, where she’s braiding my hair. “Someone said y’all look cute.” KK says before looking over at us, scrunching her face in disgust before looking back at the chat. “Of course we do” I say with a smirk, leaning back a little to look at Azzi, sending her a wink. She laughs softly, shaking her head and pushing my head back to continue with my hair.
“Is Y/N single?” Paige reads out loud before looking at me with a mischievous grin. I'm going to kill her. Paige found out about my crush on Azzi not too long ago and has been teasing me relentlessly ever since. She has tried to convince me to just make my move already, saying that Azzi definitely likes me back but what if she’s wrong? What if Azzi doesn’t like me back and she starts feeling uncomfortable around me? No. I’m not telling her.
I just flip her off and roll my eyes without answering. “Where’s my girl, Nika?” I ask no one in particular. Nika also knows about my crush, but whereas Paige has been a little shit about it, Nika has been my rock. Always there to listen to my rants and support me in any way I need. “I think she said she was just gonna head to our dorm after practice.” Paige mutters.
“Text her to come over, I can’t deal with you losers without her.” I say before hearing Azzi scoff behind me, as she pulls my hair a little. “What was that?” she says, raising her eyebrow at me. “Not you of course, I was talking about tweedle dee and tweedle dumb over there.” I quickly mutter, my voice growing louder at the end of my sentence. “That’s what I thought” Azzi says, sending me a little grin. I smile back before looking back at Paige and sticking my tongue out as I hear her cough something that sounds a lot like “whipped”.
It’s not long until Nika walks in, smirking while announcing she’s there to “save Y/N and Azzi from the idiots”. I smirk hearing Paige and KK whine about getting bullied. I feel Azzi tap my thigh, letting me know she’s done with my hair. I lean back, letting my head fall into her lap, smiling up at her. It’s ridiculous how beautiful she looks, even when she’s upside down. “Thanks Azz” I mumble, staring at her a little longer than any friend would. “Anytime” she says softly, trailing her finger down my face. I grin a little harder before remembering we’re not alone in the room.
I get up, walking over to where Nika is sitting with Paige and KK and lean my head on her shoulder. I think if I stayed there, laying in Azzi’s lap a second longer, I would’ve confessed my undying love for her and that wouldn’t end well (Right? Right.). Nika looks at me with sympathy in her eyes, squeezing my leg before turning to the chat and reading a funny comment, trying to distract everyone from my sudden movement. Successfully avoiding looking at Azzi, I completely miss the small frown on her face as I left her side. I miss the small pout on her face as she misses my body heat instantly. Because why would she? We’re just friends (Right? Right.).
I try to keep my energy high but I can’t stop thinking about how much I wish Azzi were mine. How much I wish she wants me the same way I want her. I can’t stop thinking about how her lips would feel against mine. Were they as soft as they looked?
I get up, catching everyone’s attention. “I think imma head out, I’m getting tired.”. “Damn grandma, already?” KK jokes. I flick her ear before giving Paige’s head a tap and leaning out of the way so they can’t hit me back. I give Nika a quick hug and a kiss on the temple before walking over to Azzi. I give her a hug and try not to think about how she smells like home. I kiss her temple, holding my lips against her head a little longer than necessary before pulling back and walking to the door. “Bye losers, bye Niks, bye Azzibaby!” I say, earning a middle finger from KK and Paige while getting a grin and a wave from Nika and a soft smile from Azzi.
Once I reach mine and Nika’s dorm, I make a beeline for my bed, flopping down with a sigh. “C’mon, keep it together you idiot.” I grumble to myself, slapping my hands to my face. Not having KK’s live open on my phone, I don’t even realize that Azzi is barely reacting to the live since I’ve left.
3rd person:
Azzi barely even hears whatever Paige and KK are arguing about. She barely hears Nika as she’s trying to get both girls to stop fighting. The only thing going through her mind right now is Y/N. Y/N with that annoyingly adorable smirk. Y/N that always makes her laugh, even when she feels like the world is closing in on her. Y/N who always knows what to say and is there for everyone, even when they don’t deserve it. Before she realizes what she’s doing, she’s getting up, making the other girls halt their conversation. “I uh, imma head out too” she says, already thinking about going straight to Y/N’s room.
After saying her goodbye’s, Azzi walks right over to Y/N’s dorm. Before she knows it, she’s standing in front of the door, knocking and realizing she doesn’t even know what she’s gonna say. She doesn’t get the time to regret her actions though, as Y/N opens the door almost immediately. Azzi’s heart stops for a minute. Of course she’s seen Y/N in just sweats and a sports bra plenty of times before, but Y/N still manages to make her feel breathless every time.
Y/N's POV:
“Hey… are you okay?” I say with a small frown, seeing Azzi stand in front of my door looking at me with a blank face. “Yeah no yeah, I just-... can we talk?” Azzi stumbles over her words, making me frown a little harder, not being used to her being so nervous. “Of course, come in…” I say softly, stepping aside to let her in. How? How does she look so gorgeous all the time? Even now, being a stumbling nervous mess, it’s like she’s art come to life.
I stare at her a second too long before coughing awkwardly and leading the way to my room. I watch as she sits down and fidgets with her hands. Quickly walking over, I sit next to her and grab her hand, softly squeezing it. I try to shake off the thoughts about how soft her hands feel and how perfect they fit in mine. I need to focus. I look down into her eyes, waiting for her to say whatever she needs to say. I can feel my heart pound a little harder. What if she knows? What if she knows I like her and hates me?
“You know how sometimes we jokingly flirt and how fans ship us?” she started, looking right back at me. I freeze for a second. “I- what?” I mutter. She knows. She knows. FUCK SHE KNOWS. This is bad. This is so bad.
“Do you think it’s weird? How they always make edits of us and stuff? I mean, they don’t understand that the flirting is just a joke… right?” she looks away for a second before looking back at me.
A joke. A joke. A joke. God I knew the flirting wasn’t real so why does it still hurt so much to hear her say that? I clench my jaw, “Right…”. I look away, I can’t bear to look her in the eyes, knowing she’ll see right through me. She knows me well enough to know what I’m thinking by just one glance. If I look at her now, she’ll see the pain in my eyes and that can’t happen. Because she doesn’t like me (Right.). I take my hand out of hers and scratch my neck. I can’t stand touching her right now.
“Y/N? Look at me.” I hear Azzi say but I can’t. I can’t. I can’t, okay? NO! Stop! She’s your best friend Y/N, you knew this would happen from the start. LOOK AT HER! I look at her, forcing a smile on my face. Don’t let her know this is hurting you, she doesn’t deserve that.
She frowns, looking at me with a look in her eyes. A look I can’t decipher. “You’re upset with me… aren’t you?” she mumbles, her lips forming a small pout. “No, of course not, why would I be upset with you Azzi? We’re just friends, nothing more.” I say, gritting my teeth, trying not to break my jaw with how hard I'm clenching it. But I messed up. I know it. And so does she.
Azzi’s eyes show that she’s hurt before the words are even properly out of my mouth. I said her name. I said her name, not Azz, not Azzibaby, not princess or one of the 50 other nicknames I have for her. I said her name and now she knows for certain that I’m upset. And god I wish I could take it all back because seeing her look up at me with that look in her eyes. The look I caused? That hurts more than knowing she’ll never like me back. Because at the end of the day, she’s my best friend and I NEVER want to cause her pain.
3rd person:
Azzi’s heart ached but Y/N being upset must mean something right? A normal friend wouldn’t be upset over being called a friend. A normal friend wouldn’t look at her the way Y/N does. Normal friends wouldn’t cuddle, laying face to face, talking about their hopes and dreams, the same soft way they do. So that MUST mean Y/N likes her back, right…?
“You’re lying” Azzi said, trying to catch Y/N’s eye again as the girl tries to look anywhere but at her. Y/N gets up, needing some distance between her and Azzi before she blurts out everything she’s been dying to tell her. “It’s getting late, we’ll talk later okay?” she says, looking at the ground while crossing her arms, trying to find some comfort in her own arms, knowing she’d rather have Azzi’s around her. Azzi stands up too, her frustrations rising. Frustrations at Y/N for not just confessing but also frustrations at herself, for not having had enough courage to just do it herself.
Y/N's POV:
“No.” Azzi declares. I look back up, feeling a little surprised at her bluntness. “No, you’re going to tell me the truth.” she says sternly, stepping closer to me. “What truth?” I squint at her. Don’t say anything! She doesn’t like you back (Right? Right.). Not letting off, Azzi stepped closer, “Don’t act dumb. Tell me the truth. Tell me how you feel about me.”. “Tell the truth? How about YOU tell ME the truth.” I say, stepping closer, my body tense. Please. Please. I’m begging. Let this mean what I think it does.
“You already know the truth.” Azzi says, looking right back at me, stepping even closer until we’re so close I can feel her body heat radiating off of her. “Do I?” I challenge her, refusing to let myself believe that maybe Azzi Fudd, the people’s princess, likes me back.
Growing tired Azzi steps forward, taking a deep breathe before softly saying, “If I were to tell you I liked you… what would you do?”. I freeze for a moment, not believing my ears. When I look her in the eyes I see the same soft look she seems to always have reserved just for me. I soften, my shoulder sagging down as I look at her with some sort of desperation in my eyes. I need her to be telling me the truth, i couldn't handle it if she didn't mean it. "Azzi please" I beg quietly. I'm not even sure what I'm begging for but she does, because she knows me better than anyone.
She takes one final step closer to me, grabbing my hand with a smile that could light up the world. “I like you… so much, it’s actually pretty insane” she starts, chuckling towards the end of her sentence. I scan her face for a second before grabbing her face in both hands and leaning in slightly, giving her the chance to still pull away.
Azzi’s heart flutters from how gentle Y/N is with her. Leaning in the rest of the way, Azzi kisses me with a small smile on her face. I kiss her. I kiss her and it's like the world stops. I can't believe it, I'm kissing the girl of my dreams. The girl that is the kindest, sweetest soul. The people's princess. My best friend. My Azzi.
We pull away after a few seconds but I don’t let her get very far, face still cupped between my hands. She smiles her million dollar smile and teases, “So… this means you like me back right?”. I roll my eyes but I can’t seem to hold back the smile that’s growing on my face. “Shuddup” I mumble, pulling her back in. She likes me back? (Right.)

Could you do nika muhl smut where nika and her girl go out with the team and someone starts flirting with nikas girl like so much and she gets all jealous and possive LIKE YUHHHH MABYE CAR SEX
hi anon, i hope you enjoy!! (this is gonna set when nika went to uconn bc idk much about seattle storm) also im gonna start adding songs to stories if i feel like they fit the story
warning(s): cussing, smut, jealousy
genre: smut
pairing(s): jealous!nika mühl x reader
==================================
you and nika were out with the entire uconn team, getting drinks and talking about everything and everyone.you were all sitting at a table. you drink was empty so you went to get another one “i’ll be back im gonna go get another drink.” you tapped nika on the thigh before getting up and grabbing your cup and going to the bar. while at the bar a guy walked up next to you, “hey.” he greeted, “hi.” you were being nice but you hoped and prayed he didn’t flirt with you because if he did nika would lose her shit and you simply didn’t want him to. “so, you alone?” he asked as the bartender gave you your drink. “no, my girlfriend is over there.” you told him while point to nika, trying to a sound as uninterested as possible.
“you’re too pretty to be a lesbian.” your eye widened the moment he said this, “what’s that supposed to mean?” you ask, started to get annoyed. “you’re too hot to be going after girls, why not leave with me so i can show you how much better i am than her.” he offered. “i’m good.” you reply as you try to leave but he goes in front of you, “let me go.” you say as you try to find a way out. he ignored you and continued to trap you between him and the bar. nika is as confused on why you are gone for so long so she turned around and seen the guys all up on you and got up to figure out what’s going on.
she pushed him off of you and you quickly walked next to her, “go sit down, i’ll handle him.” she told you as you obeyed instantly. “what happened?” azzi asked the moment you sat down. “he ask me if i was alone and i told him i had a girlfriend and he told me i was too pretty to be gay then i don’t even know what he tried to do after.” you said while fixing your bracelets. “he was like trying to keep me there. he wasn’t letting me leave but nika‘s spidey senses were on or something and she came at the right time.” you told the basketball team as they all started to talk about men and the ups and downs about them. when nika returned you looked pissed. “what did you to him?” you asked while turning you attention to her, “just know he won’t ever mess with a girl like that ever again.” she replied while grabbing her phone off the table.
about 15 minutes later nika was still mad, “do you want to go home?” you whispered in her ear, instead of answering she just told everyone you guys were gonna leave and got up, dragging you with her. “y/n’s gonna get it good.” you heard ice say as you two walked away, you looked back at her and nodded and mouthed ‘yes i am.’ making the whole team laugh. as you two walked out, nika held your hand tightly the whole way to the car. when you reached the car she opened the back instead of the front. you immediately got excited and got in, nika getting in the back with you. the moment the door shut she started to make out with you. you straddled her lap and put the hands on both sides of her face, her hands went down to your hips and made you grind against her.
she lifted you up slightly and moved you to one of her thighs, making you grind back and forth. you breathed heavily as she made you grind faster, “fuck nika.” you whimpered while breaking the kiss and leaving your head on her shoulder. sje continued to help you ride her thigh until you came on her clothed thigh. she laid you down on the seat with your head against the window. she touched your dress up to your stomach then took your panties off, tossing them to the ground. she dove into your pussy, licking you like you were ice cream. you moaned loudly as she continued to eat you out. “holy shit!” you cried, your legs starting to shake slightly.
“oh i-i’m gonna cum. nika please do not stop im gonna cum.” you whined as your legs shook more. you were so close to cumming it felt like you were going to burst all on her. after a few more seconds you came on her mouth, she came back up and wiped her face with her hands. “did i give it to you good?” she asked with a slight smirk, at first you were confused then you realized she was talking about what you said, well really mouthed earlier. you smiled back and nodded, “yes you did.” you gave her a kiss then picked up your panties and put them back on, pulling your dress down after. “let’s go home, then we can finish this.” you told her while getting ready to get out and walk to the front.
when you slightly opened the door you heard the team talking. “nika’s car is still here.” you heard paige say as you opened the door completely and got out, you smiled and waved at them. “there is absolutely no way.” aubrey said while laughing, “i’m never sitting in your car again nika.” kk said with a look of disgust. you laughed with them then got in the passenger seat, nika getting in a few seconds later. “i can’t believe they walked out at the same time.” nika laughed as she started the car and started to drive. “that’s lowkey embarrassing.” you laughed with her.
==================================
i hope you enjoy and i hope you have a good day/night, love you 💋💋

Paige / 3rd pov
It was about two hours after she left, she wouldn’t say she was drunk but she was tipsy. Everyone was pretty much doing their own thing kk and ice were live nika was somewhere and Paige and azzi were t the bar.
“How’s my niece” azzi smiled “well for one, she’s always hungry” Paige laughed “and she loves (☆), sometimes it feels like more than me”. “She’ll get used too you, she just needs time” azzi told her.

Just for Now
chapter 2
synopsis : when a group of students go on a school field trip are suddenly forced into a deadly real-life game of Mafia at a retreat center. They receive a message that tells them the game has started, and the only way of survival is by eliminating classmates and identifying the Mafias.
———
note : this is surprisingly going well
———
The group chat was already blowing up.
Sarah: yo wtf is this
Kk: this ain’t funny
Azzi: is this like a prank?
Paige: Q, you did this, right?
No response.
Q hadn’t said a word.
You scrolled past the chaos, fingers trembling.
Rose: maybe we should just… play along
Stormi: y’all seriously voting on people??
Aaliyah: it’s not real. obviously.
But even she didn’t sound convinced.
Ines: Let’s all meet in the lounge.
Ines: It’s better to talk about this in person.
You exchanged a glance with Stormi, both of you silently agreeing. The tension was too thick to ignore.
On the way to the lounge, you passed the supervisor’s desk. Still empty.
“He didn’t come back yet?” you asked, voice low.
Stormi shrugged. “Said he’d be back a few hours ago. I guess he never came.”
That was odd. Mr. Duncil was usually on top of things. Nothing could’ve happened to him… right?
You spotted Isaac coming down the stairs — the kid from your fifth-hour class. “Hey, have you seen Mr. Duncil?”
He shook his head, adjusting the glasses sliding down his nose. “Not since earlier. I tried calling him, but no luck.”
You frowned. This was starting to feel less like a prank and more like something else entirely.
Footsteps echoed from the west wing. You turned to see Paige, Azzi, Nika, and Aaliyah approaching. Azzi bounced a ball in her hand, calm as ever.
“We’re trying to figure out where Mr. Duncil went,” you explained. “He said he’d be back, but… he’s just gone.”
Stormi checked the time and spoke up. “We should head to the lounge. It’s getting late.”
Everyone nodded. Together, you made your way there.
The room buzzed with tension.
“So what’s actually going on?” Ice asked, glancing around.
Sammy scoffed, arms crossed. “They explained the rules, didn’t they?”
Ice narrowed her eyes. “You know that’s not what I meant.”
Sammy didn’t answer — just went back to picking at her nails.
You turned to Q. “This is your thing, right? You set this up?”
Q stood up abruptly, eyes wide. “Why is everyone assuming I know what’s going on? I’m just as confused as you!”
Aubrey shook her head. “We know you’re into this techy game stuff. That’s why we asked.”
Q crossed her arms and sat down beside Allie. “I wouldn’t even have time to do something like this.”
Then, the clock struck 11:30.
A cold voice crackled through the intercom:
“You now have 30 minutes to vote. If votes are not submitted, all of you will be executed.”
Your heart plummeted.
“What the hell—?” Isaac stood, holding up his phone. “Okay, so obviously we gotta vote. Who are we voting for?”
“Qadance. She’s the most suspicious,” Sammy said immediately.
“That’s bullshit!” Q snapped, voice shaking. “What have I even done to make you think I’m mafia?”
Silence.
She looked around the room — no one spoke up.
“Exactly!”
Azzi stepped forward. “I just think it’s better this way, Q. I’m sorry.” She raised her phone and tapped the screen.
Azzi has voted for Qadance.
Paige has voted for Qadance.
Rose has voted for Qadance.
Q’s expression twisted. Hurt. Anger. Betrayal. Her hands balled into fists.
She hadn’t done anything. She didn’t deserve this.
“Don’t take it personal,” Ayanna said as she cast her vote. “You’ll probably just be sat out for the rest of the game.”
Q turned to her, eyes wide. “I’m sorry—does execution sound like a time out to you? I’m gonna die!”
“Qadance, chill. Don’t think of it like that,” the blonde basketball player said gently.
Q looked at her, then shook her head. “I don’t trust this.”
There were still 10 minutes left in the voting round. Fifteen people had voted for Q.
Across the room, a freshman girl sat trembling with her friends. You noticed her hesitation and stood, crouching beside her.
“I don’t wanna do this,” she whispered.
“I know, sweetie,” you said softly. “But you have to—or you’ll be executed too.”
She exhaled shakily, then reached forward and pressed the button.
“I’m sorry.”
Qadance’s entire demeanor shifted. She stopped talking. Her expression went blank—like she was already preparing herself for the end.
5 Minutes Remaining
The intercom crackled.
“With the most votes, Qadance will be executed.”
All eyes turned to her.
Q sat silently, staring at the floor, her fingers twitching and fumbling with each other. You couldn’t stop watching her—trying to anticipate what would happen.
Then her hands snapped to her head.
She groaned.
Then screamed.
The sound ripped through the room, sharp and panicked. Everyone jumped.
“Q?”
No answer. She was writhing, hands digging into her scalp.
You stepped closer and placed a hand on her shoulder—she shoved it off instantly.
“Q, answer me!”
She kept screaming.
People stood, backing away. “What the fuck is wrong with her?” Nika shouted.
“Qadance!”
Suddenly, she froze.
She lifted her head slowly. Her eyes—completely white. No pupil. No iris. Nothing.
She turned toward the door and bolted.
Everyone rushed after her. You were right behind her.
“Q!”
She spotted a painting on the wall and slammed her head into it.
“Qadance, stop!” you screamed.
She stumbled to the opposite wall and did it again.
Then she saw it—the massive window at the end of the hallway.
She ran.
People reached for her, trying to stop her, but she was too fast.
In one motion, she launched herself through the glass.
“QADANCE!”
You sprinted after her, but you were too late.
Shards of glass sparkled in the air.
Then—
The intercom buzzed again.
A soft tone echoed through the hall… and everyone dropped into a deep, heavy sleep.
The hallway, once filled with screams and chaos, now sat still. Bodies lay scattered—students slumped on the cold tile floor, limbs twisted in the awkward positions of sudden sleep. A cold breeze drifted through the open frame.
The intercom came on again.
This time, only four people woke up.
Paige was the first. She shot upright, eyes scanning the room—everyone else was still out cold. Then it hit her:
After voting ends at midnight, all participants except for Mafia will go to sleep.
She turned her head. Azzi was stirring beside her.
Relief flooded her chest.
She let out a soft breath—she didn’t want to imagine what she’d have done if Azzi hadn’t woken up too.
When the brunette’s eyes found Paige, she rushed over and wrapped her in a hug.
“Holy shit.”
They pulled apart as two more voices joined them—Aaliyah and Nika were also awake, standing nearby.
A silence fell between them. Heavy. Awkward.
Then Aaliyah broke it.
“So… we all lied to each other?”
Paige laughed dryly, running a hand down her face.
“I mean… we kinda had to.”
Aaliyah shrugged, casually glancing around at the bodies still lying on the floor.
Then she spotted you. Her lips curled into a smirk.
“Sucks Rose isn’t Mafia, doesn’t it?”
Paige and Azzi both turned toward her and flipped her off in perfect sync.
Even now, even with everything falling apart, Aaliyah still found a way to be that girl.
The lights dimmed slightly—enough to make the shadows stretch.
Then, the intercom buzzed again.
“Mafia Members: You have 4 hours to make your decision. Eliminate one player before the others wake up.”
Silence.
No robotic voice. No static. Just those chilling words—and then nothing.
Azzi’s jaw clenched. Paige immediately looked at her.
“Don’t look at me like that,” Azzi muttered.
“Like what?”
“Like I’m supposed to be okay with this.”
Aaliyah, as always, broke the tension with a low chuckle.
“They’re asleep. They won’t feel a thing, right?”
Paige glared at her.
“Don’t joke about that.”
“I’m not. I’m being practical. We either do it or we’re next.”
Nika crossed her arms, her voice lower than usual.
“We just need to figure out who to eliminate.”
The air shifted.
Everyone looked at each other.
No one spoke.
The screen on the wall flickered on.
A countdown started.
3:59:59
Azzi turned away from the group, her breathing quick and sharp.
“I’m not doing it. I don’t care what they say. I’m not—”
“Then someone else will,” Aaliyah cut in.
Paige stepped between them.
“We’re not going to tear each other apart over this. We pick someone. We agree. And we never talk about it again.”
No one responded.
Then Nika broke the silence. Her voice flat. Detached.
“What about the freshman?”
The group turned to look at the small girl, still curled up on the floor. Quiet. Breathing softly. She hadn’t even been awake for an hour before she cast her vote against Qadance.
Paige swallowed hard.
“She’s just a kid.”
“We’re all just kids.” Aaliyah’s voice was razor-sharp now. “We need to survive.”
“Yeah, but that girl just got into high school! She’s fresh out of eighth grade. I’m sorry, but I don’t agree.”
Azzi looked at her girlfriend, admiring her for her kindness.
“She’s right, Lili. We need to do someone else.”
Aaliyah looked over at the brunette and groaned, shaking her head.
“Fine then. Who?”
Nika stayed quiet, scanning the room until her eyes landed on Sammy.
“Alright. Let’s do Sammy.”
The three looked at her.
“Why Sammy?” Aaliyah asked.
Nika scoffed.
“Because she’s a bitch. A huge one at that, especially to Ice.”
Azzi looked at the girl in question. Nika was right—in a way.
But then she paused. Thought.
“Don’t you think that’ll just make Ice look suspicious?”
Nika turned to her. She had a point. The brunette just raised her eyebrows, arms still crossed as she leaned against the wall.
“Maybe that’s what we need to do.”
Everyone turned toward Paige. They didn’t expect those words to come out of her mouth—of all people.
“Paige, what the hell?”
She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Look, I love Ice. I do. But we need to do what it takes to keep everyone else off our backs. If they think it’s Ice, they won’t pay us any mind.”
Nika nodded slowly.
“I’m not opposed… but you sure you wanna throw Ice under the bus like that? I mean, come on—it’s Ice we’re talking about.”
Paige looked at her twin. Her eyebrows were furrowed, but she nodded.
“Like I said before, we do whatever it takes.”
Aaliyah stood there, still flabbergasted. She didn’t want to kill Ice. But she had to think. “We were better off killing the fucking freshman,” she muttered under her breath.
“Alright… who’s gonna do it?” Azzi asked.
“I’ll do it,” Paige offered.
The room fell silent. Even the wind outside seemed to pause.
Aaliyah’s eyes locked onto Paige’s. “You sure?”
Paige gave a short nod, jaw clenched.
Azzi swallowed hard, guilt starting to creep into her chest. “Just… don’t make her suffer.”
“I won’t,” Paige said quietly, almost like a promise to herself.
Nika crossed her arms again, eyes narrowing. “How are you gonna do it?”
The blonde looked to the floor.
“There’s many different ways, but I’m thinking about just snapping her neck.”
Aaliyah leaned against the back wall, arms folded tight around her chest. “Jesus, this is fucked.”
“Welcome to the game,” Nika muttered.
The intercom went off.
“Mafia, before you fall asleep, there’s something to know.”
The four of them looked at each other, confused.
“There will be a fifth Mafia joining you. You’ll see who it is tomorrow.”
-
The next day, you were the first to wake. Everyone else was just starting to stir.
What happened to Qadance immediately flooded your mind, and a wave of sickness churned in your gut. You walked over to the window, needing to see if her body was still there.
It was.
Then the intercom crackled to life.
“Qadance was a Citizen.”
You covered your mouth as bile rose in your throat. The guilt hit like a punch to the stomach.
You all killed her. You all killed her because you thought she was behind everything. Paranoia had taken over. Now the weight of it was unbearable.
“Come on, hun. Let’s go.”
Stormi wrapped an arm around you and began guiding you back to your room. But another announcement cut through the air, freezing you in place.
“During the night, the Mafia decided to use their power and execute Sammy. Sammy was a Citizen.”
You closed your eyes. Tears welled up, threatening to spill.
“No…”
Jaida’s voice cracked. She rushed to Sammy’s lifeless body and dropped to her knees beside her.
“Who the fuck did this?! Why?!” she screamed, holding onto her friend like she could will her back to life.
Azzi, Paige, Nika, and Aaliyah exchanged uneasy glances, then quickly looked away, watching the scene unfold from a distance like everyone else.
“This game is so fucked up,” Jaida sniffed, wiping her nose with the back of her hand.
“I know, J. Come on. We can’t stay here. It isn’t safe.”
Isaac reached down and gently helped her to her feet. Jaida kept her eyes on Sammy’s body for a moment longer before finally turning away.
You glanced around at everyone. Some cried. Some stood frozen. Others… looked too calm.
You didn’t know who to trust anymore.
But at least you had one advantage—they didn’t know you were the Police. Anyone who acted suspicious, you could investigate.
So far… no one was on your radar.
Yet.
-
You were walking around the center, just scoping things out. Overthinking, as usual. There was so much going on in your head—being the police gave you power, real power, and you weren’t even sure you’d fully realized it yet.
You had been so excited for this field trip. Now? It had all gone to shit. Where were the supervisors? It was like they’d vanished into thin air. The thought made your brain spin with stress.
On the second floor, you spotted two figures approaching.
Paige and Azzi.
You smiled and walked toward them. “Hi, guys.”
They smiled back. Up close, they looked even better. You were starstruck.
“Hey, Rose,” Azzi said, then paused, eyes widening. “I can call you that… right?”
Your face got hot.
You can call me anything.
Wait—did you just say that out loud?
“I mean—yeah,” you stammered. “Yes, you can call me Rose. Both of you can.”
They were dressed differently than when you’d arrived. Paige wore joggers that sat low on her hips, her boxers peeking out playfully. She had on a hoodie, her hair tied back in that signature bun of hers.
Azzi wore shorts and a tank top—no bra. You could clearly see her nipples through the fabric. Your stomach twisted with heat.
They both looked amazing. And you silently cursed yourself for thinking like that… in a situation like this.
That was dangerous—too dangerous. Not just the game, but the way they looked at you. The way they smiled like they didn’t have a care in the world.
You shifted on your feet, clearing your throat, trying to focus.
“So, um…” you start, trying to keep your voice steady, “have you guys seen anyone else? Or, like… anything weird?”
Paige tilted her head slightly, squinting. “Weird how? Like bodies-dropped weird or weird like, ‘someone took my chips’ weird?”
You laughed, mostly from nerves. “Definitely more of the first one.”
Azzi crossed her arms, and her tank top lifted a bit, revealing a sliver more skin than you were ready to handle. “Nah, nothing weird. Just a weird vibe. Like, something’s coming. You feel that too, don’t you?”
God, yeah, you did. But you didn’t want to say that out loud. Not when your brain was already spiraling.
They were still watching you—curious, warm, unbothered. Maybe a little too unbothered. And suddenly you remembered: You hadn’t checked either of their roles yet. You hadn’t check anyone’s roles yet for that matter.
Your fingers twitched with the need to look. You could. Right now.
But something in your gut told you… once you do, everything changes.
You decided against it, wanting to talk to these two a little more.
“Uh… you guys wanna head down to the cafeteria? I heard they’ve got good food.”
Paige and Azzi lit up at the mention of food—no surprise, considering they were both athletes.
The three of you headed downstairs, smiles on your faces as you made your way through the center.
You didn’t even make it to the cafeteria before the intercom crackled to life.
Jessica was executed. Jessica was a Citizen.
The three of you froze.
A killing during the day?
Then came the scream.
Sharp. Piercing.
A sound that didn’t belong in daylight.
You turned toward the direction of the scream, heart pounding. Paige’s eyes were wide, and Azzi had already started moving.
“Come on,” she said, her voice tight. “That came from the east wing.”
The three of you ran, footsteps echoing through the hallways that suddenly felt too empty, too quiet between each scream.
You rounded the corner—and nearly crashed into a group of students clustered near one of the rec room doors. Some were crying. Others were trying to look inside through the small window.
“Move,” Azzi said, pushing through. She froze once she looked in.
You stepped up beside her.
Inside, on the floor, was someone you hadn’t seen since last night’s game.
Blood pooled around their head. Eyes wide open. Unmoving.
No intercom this time.
“What the hell is happening?” Paige whispered.
Someone behind you muttered, “Two people in one day? This isn’t part of the game anymore.”
You looked around at the faces in the hallway—some pale, some in shock, a few too calm.
Your role—the Police Officer—suddenly felt a whole lot heavier.
“Okay, we’ve gotta get the fuck outta here!” Aubrey shouted, eyes fixed on the body.
“You think?” Jaida snapped, already turning. “Come on—let’s try outside!”
She bolted from the room. The rest of you followed, footsteps pounding the floor in a panicked stampede.
Halfway down the hall, a sudden thought hit you like a punch.
“Where’s Stormi!?” you yelled, spinning around.
“I’m right here, Rose!”
You whipped your head to the side—Stormi was beside you now, slightly out of breath. Relief flooded your chest.
When you finally pushed through the exit doors and spilled into the sunlight, a strange quiet settled over the group. Then you all saw it.
A solid white line—thick, glowing faintly—stretched around the entire perimeter of the building, encircling it like a barrier.
“What the—” Ashlynn started, stepping forward.
The moment her toe crossed the line, a loud buzzing sound erupted—like a short circuit—and she staggered back with a yelp.
“I didn’t even touch anything!” she shouted, stumbling into Paige.
Stormi moved beside you, her voice low. “It’s a boundary. We’re trapped.”
You looked around at everyone, faces full of panic, confusion, and something worse—realization.
This wasn’t just a game anymore.
And someone was making sure no one could leave.
“Leaving the playing area will result in execution. Please stay inside the boundaries.”
The voice was flat. Final.
David—yeah, you were pretty sure that was his name—shook his head. He’d seen too much already. Too much blood, too much fear.
“Man, fuck this! I’m out,” he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.
Before anyone could stop him, he bolted—straight across the white line.
“DAVID!”
A girl screamed behind him, reaching out, but it was too late.
The intercom clicked on again, colder than before.
“You’ve stepped outside of playing boundaries. Execution will now be exhibited.”
David froze mid-step.
Then—just like Qadance the night before—his body began to tremble. Jerk violently.
His eyes rolled back, turning a milky white.
He spotted a rock near the edge of the line. Picked it up with trembling hands.
And before anyone could move—
Crack.
Crack.
He slammed it into his own skull.
The screams came instantly.
The girl who’d called his name collapsed, sobbing, as others turned away, unable to watch.
You couldn’t move. Couldn’t speak.
This wasn’t just a scare tactic.
The game was real.
And it was cruel.
“I wanna go home!”
The freshman sobbed, her voice cracking. Her eyes were wide, too innocent—too young for this.
Why was this happening?
Before you could process it, more people began to move. Panic had taken over.
Someone screamed, then another. And just like that—
They ran.
One after another, tearing across the boundary line like it wasn’t glowing with death.
Like they hadn’t just watched David die.
“Stop!” you yelled.
“Don’t go out there!” Stormi’s voice cracked with desperation.
Others joined in—faces you didn’t even know—but it didn’t matter.
They didn’t care.
Not one bit.
One girl made it three steps past the line before collapsing.
A guy hit the ground, convulsing.
Another bashed his head against the fence post until it split.
Screams.
So many screams.
You clutched Stormi’s arm, breathing hard. The sound of death was starting to feel… normal.
And that terrified you more than anything else.
-
“Is anyone’s phone working?” Jana asked, staring down at her screen like it might suddenly change. Her voice was small, barely cutting through the weight in the air.
People around her checked.
One by one, they shook their heads.
No signal. No bars. No Wi-Fi. Nothing.
Someone tried dialing anyway—just to try. It didn’t even ring.
Jana let out a shaky breath. “They’ve cut us off.”
You looked around. Dozens of students. Shaking. Crying. Staring into space.
And not one of them had a way to call for help.
“They planned this,” Stormi whispered. “Every part of it.”
The silence that followed was worse than the screams.
A sharp voice broke the silence.
“This is bullshit,” Dylan snapped, eyes wild as he stepped forward. “Someone here knows what’s going on.”
Heads turned.
“No one just sets up some death game without help. You really think this is all random?” He pointed at the cameras overhead. “Someone in this group is in on it.”
“Dylan, don’t—” someone tried to calm him, but he wasn’t hearing it.
“No. I’m not dying in this place because we trusted the wrong person. Think about it—what if one of you signed up for this? Or got offered something to play along?” His eyes darted around the group like he was ready to pounce.
People started murmuring. Shifting uncomfortably.
Stormi stepped in front of you slightly—protective. “No one here wants this. We’re all stuck.”
“You don’t know that,” Dylan shot back. “What if this ‘game’ has roles we don’t know about? What if someone’s job is to keep us scared and confused?”
Then he looked straight at you.
“You’ve been quiet, Rose. Why is that?”
Your heart dropped.
Everyone was watching.
And suddenly, being the Police Officer didn’t feel like a strength anymore—it felt like a target.
You seen from the corner of your eye, Paige and Azzi stand up. Like they were ready to defend you. Fight for you.
But you had it.
You took a step forward, eyes locked on Dylan.
“Quiet?” you repeated, your voice steady. “I’ve been quiet because I’m thinking—something you clearly haven’t been doing.”
A few heads turned. Dylan’s smug look faltered.
“You wanna start pointing fingers? Go ahead. But screaming and throwing blame around isn’t gonna save anyone. In fact—” you took another step closer—
“—that’s exactly what they want us to do. Tear each other apart before they even lift a finger.”
Dylan opened his mouth to speak, but you cut him off.
“You’re not a hero. You’re scared like the rest of us. But don’t mistake panic for leadership. We don’t need a loud mouth—we need a plan.”
Silence.
Even Stormi blinked like she hadn’t expected that.
Dylan looked like he wanted to say something else—but he didn’t.
He stepped back.
And for the first time since this all started… people were looking at you for what to do next.
Dylan scoffed, but didn’t say another word. He looked away, jaw clenched.
The tension in the air hung for a moment longer, then slowly started to settle. People backed off, eyes shifting elsewhere, conversations picking up in quiet murmurs again.
Stormi leaned in close to you, her voice low. “Okay, damn. You didn’t have to eat him like that.”
You gave a small shrug. “He asked for it.”
You weren’t trying to lead. You didn’t want that weight. You just weren’t going to let someone drag your name through the mud when people were already dying.
Let them look to someone else for plans. You were focused on staying alive—and figuring out who was lying.
And with your role…
You were already seeing more than most.
You drifted toward the edge of the group, away from the noise and the stares. Stormi followed, staying close but not saying much. She knew your silence wasn’t retreat—it was focus.
The ability had activated before. Quiet. Subtle. No one could see it happen but you.
And now—it buzzed in your head again. A soft pulse, like something calling your attention.
Your eyes scanned the crowd until they landed on someone near the back. Quiet. Watching. Not saying much.
Jaida.
Then, right beside her name in your mind—like a label only you could see:
Occupation: Mafia.
Your stomach dropped.
No way.
She was the one who ran first, told people to head outside. Had she known what would happen? Was it a setup?
You didn’t say anything. Not yet.
But your hand found Stormi’s sleeve and gave it a slight tug.
She looked at you, brows raised.
You just whispered, low enough that only she could hear:
“I saw something.”

Babysitting Chronicles II
Your wedding anniversary with Sylus is coming up and lucky for you he’ll be leaving for a day and half which gives you time to prepare your surprise for him. Let’s hope all goes well. You just need the twins to watch your daughter for a few hours what could go wrong? A/N: Nika why'd you use this photo? I like it. Why not use a photo of Sylus? He's not here right now.
Tumblr media
[Decision Made: You cook & talk to the twins over breakfast] ↢ previous
Tumblr media
You turned and padded down the hallway to you daughters room. You open her door to find her already climbing out of bed pulling her blanket with her. “What are you doing up?” You cooed at her to catch her attention. She made a grumbling noise in the back of her throat as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes — she acts just like her dad.
She dropped the blanket and waddled over to you as fast as her little legs could carry her. “I’m hungry” She mumbled before wrapping herself around your legs. You giggled at how cute she was you never understood what the twins were talking about when they said she was a little menace — she was always so cute and well behaved with you. Especially considering she was only three years old turning four soon.
“Do you know what you want for breakfast?” You squatted down so she could be eye level with you. Her lips quivered as she tried to answer “You can yawn baby” You chuckled a little with a confused look on your face. Her little fist raised high in the air as a big yawn escaped. “Why were you trying to hold that in?”
“Daddy said it's rude to yawn in someones face” Her big ruby red eyes shined bright as she repeated what Sylus told her. You tilted your head and smiled at her affectionately.
“Your Daddy is correct it is rude but all you have to do is go like this” You moved your hand in front of your mouth. “Now you’re not being rude” she mirrored your gesture and you gave her an assuring nod. Her little giggle gave you so much cuteness aggression you couldn't help, but gently pinch her nose.
“Mommyyyyy no I don’t like that anymore” She puffed her cheeks out and swatted your hand which wasn’t helping the cuteness aggression at all, but you respected her boundaries.
“Mommy’s sorry” You stood up and reached your hand out for her to grab, but instead she darted past you out of her room and down the hall. When babygirl was up she wanted everyone up so you knew she was headed straight for the twin room. You followed close behind her as she came up on their bedroom door. She pounded on the door with all her might. You could hear their shocked voices and a myriad of thuds and bumps behind the door.
“We’re awake!” They shouted in unison.
“Uncle Key! Uncle L!” She shrieked continuing her onslaught of tiny fists. “It’s time for breakfast hurry!” Suddenly the door flung open and two identical faces popped out. Your daughter fell head first into the room, but Kieran managed to catch her. He set her back on her feet and ran a hand through his disheveled hair.
“We’ll be right down!” They mumbled.
Your lip quirked at the sight of them being so disoriented from that abrupt wake up call. Feeling bad that they got woken up like that you decided to save them. “We can meet them downstairs come on” You grabbed her hand pulling her along. She didn’t protest instead she opted to tell her uncles she’d eat all the food if they don’t get there fast enough.
Tumblr media
The kitchen was fully stocked per usual so finding something quick ti whip up was no problem. You decided on breakfast sandwiches since it was something that could be filling and delicious. Also lucky for you that was babygirls favorite. Which truly was shocking considering she’s had gourmet breakfast more than your regular home cooking. It took little to no time to fry a couple eggs and cook up some bacon. You assembled the ingredients together on an English muffin and sliced it right down the middle.
“One breakfast sandwich with ‘cado because she doesn’t like avocado for the princess” She giggled and did a happy dance in her seat. She was only three one day when she’s older you’ll tell here that this ‘cado she loves so much is the same avocado she claims to hate. You checked the time and saw It was about half past eight, the twins weren’t down yet and you were starting to get antsy. “Luke! Kieran! Get down here!” You yelled from the middle of the kitchen. This place may be big, but you know they heard you when you hear two sets of heavy footsteps barreling down the stairs.
“Sorry” Luke said out of breath.
“We fell back asleep” Kieran explained.
“Please don’t be mad” They said in unison.
You eyed them as you sat two more plates on the table. “Sit down” They scrambled into their seats so fast Luke managed to knock his knee against the table. You sighed at how discombobulated they become when they think they’re in trouble. “I need you two to babysit your niece for a few hours I have some errands to run”
“Okay” They agreed.
You gave them a blank stare “That’s it? No whining? No rebuttal?”
“Nope we’ll be the best babysitters just like always” Luke said around a mouthful of food. Kieran shoved him knowing how much you hate when they speak with food in their mouth. Luke gulped down the bite and gave you an apologetic smile.
You checked the time again and just shrugged it off. For the first time in months the twins aren’t being bratty about babysitting so a win is a win. You threw your hands up in surrender and nodded “Good to hear alright-” You turned on your heels and grabbed your keys and purse off the counter. “I’ll be back soon take good care of her and remember boys if anything happens to my baby” You gave them a stern look that sent shivers down their spine. “I’ll fold your clothes with you still in them”
“Mommy how is that possible?” Your daughter chimed in tapping her chin trying to understand what you meant. You sashayed over to her and kissed her cheek.
“I’ll explain when you’re older” She tried to protest, but you managed to redirect her attention back to her food by pretending to take half of it. You chuckled as she pried your fingers off and took a bite. So greedy. “Okay you three be good”
“Wait!” Luke yelled.
“Who’s in charge?” Kieran asked.
You propped your hand on your hip and gave them an ‘are you two serious?’ look “You’re both in charge” You deadpanned.
They shared a look before focusing back on you. “But which one is the main one in charge?” Luke gestured between himself and Kieran.
“It’s doesn't matter you’re both equally in charge” These two are such handfuls sometimes.
“You have to choose” You looked at Kieran who was pleading with his eyes. He obviously wanted to be the quote on quote ‘main one in charge’. You pinched the bridge of your nose and sighed heavily; you don’t have time for this.

~Lines We Drew~
part: 1
pairing- Paige x Azzi
oookay hi guys! idk how many requests i’ve gotten in my inbox for this kind of fic for pazzi but I finally tried to work up something last night! (don’t tell me you don’t like it , i will be upset)
warning: language
Enjoy!!!
Paige Bueckers had heard the news weeks before the official announcement: Azzi Fudd was coming to UConn. The so-called “golden girl” of high school basketball, the first pick in her class and NPOY, the one everyone couldn’t stop talking about. And Paige couldn’t have been less thrilled.
“Come on, Paige. She’s not even here yet, and you’re already acting all grumpy,” Nika ribbed as they lounged in their dorm room, prepping for the new season. “Besides, she is real pretty. You should be excited. Maybe you’ll finally find someone who can keep up with you.”
Paige scoffed, rolling her eyes. “I don’t need someone to keep up with me, Nika. And I’m not grumpy. I just don’t get what the big deal is.”
KK, lying on her bed with her feet propped up on the wall, chimed in, “The big deal is she’s gonna be a star. You know that, right? The two of you together on the court—UConn’s gonna be unstoppable and on the road to the national chip, yes ma’am.” Kk exclaimed, pumping her fist in the air.
“Yeah, if we can stand to be on the same court without killing each other,” Paige muttered, more to herself than anyone else. But of course, Nika heard her and threw a pillow at her head.
“Stop being such a brat. You barely even know her. Maybe you’ll actually like her once you get to know her.” “Doubt it,” Paige grumbled, tossing the pillow back at Nika.
“Why don’t you like her anyway?” Ayanna asked from her corner of the room, where she was scrolling through her phone. “You guys don’t even know each other like that.”
Paige shrugged, knowing she didn’t have a good answer to tell her friends, she knows if she tells them something else, all hell will break loose. “We just… don’t click, okay? I dunno. She’s just not my type of person.”
KK rolled her eyes. “Girl boo save the excuses .” Paige didn’t respond, sinking deeper into her thoughts. She wasn’t going to be a bitch—she just wasn’t going to go out of her way to be friendly either.
The day Azzi arrived at UConn, it felt like the entire campus was buzzing. Paige’s friends were all smiles, eager to meet the new star recruit. Paige tagged along reluctantly as they headed over to the dorms where Azzi would be living.
When they got there, Azzi was already surrounded by some of the team, all of them helping her move in. Paige hung back, crossing her arms and watching as Caroline and Aubrey joked with Azzi as they were old friends.
“Ice, you gotta help me lift this,” Caroline called, motioning to a heavy-looking box. Ice, who was taller and definitely stronger, easily lifted the box and carried it into the dorm.
“Thanks, Carol,” Azzi said, smiling. “I think that’s the last of it.” “No problem,” Caroline replied, wiping her hands on her shorts. “We’re all in this together now.”
Paige tried to keep her expression neutral as Azzi glanced over at her. Their eyes met for a split second, and Paige felt a jolt of something she couldn’t quite name. It wasn’t exactly anger, but it wasn’t friendly either. She quickly looked away, pretending to be interested in something on her phone.
“Oh, hey Paige,” Azzi said, her voice polite but not overly friendly. “Didn’t see you there.” Paige nodded stiffly. “Yeah, I’m just here with the girls.”
Azzi nodded back, the silence between them awkward. Caroline, ever the peacemaker, jumped in. “Paige, why don’t you help Azzi get her room set up? She’s rooming with me, Aubrey, and Ice.”
Paige wanted to say no, but everyone was looking at her expectantly, so she forced a smile. “Sure. I can help.”
She followed Azzi and the others into the dorm, feeling like she was walking into enemy territory. Aubrey was already inside, arranging some of her things, and when she saw Paige, she grinned.
“Hey, Paige! Look at you, helping out. Maybe there’s hope for you yet,” Aubrey teased.
Paige rolled her eyes but smiled a little. Aubrey had a way of making her feel at ease, even when she didn’t want to be. “Yeah, yeah. Just trying to be a team player.” As they unpacked, the conversation flowed easily among the group, but Paige stayed mostly quiet, only speaking when directly addressed. Azzi seemed content to ignore her as well, which suited Paige just fine.
After they finished, Ice stretched her arms over her head and sighed. “Man, moving is exhausting. I’m starving.”
“Let’s grab something to eat,” Caroline suggested. “We can all go together. You in, Paige?”
Paige hesitated, glancing at Azzi, who was wiping sweat from her brow. She really didn’t want to spend any more time around her than necessary, but she knew saying no would make her look petty. So she nodded. “Yeah, sure.”
They all headed to a nearby café, where they pushed a bunch of tables together to accommodate the group. Paige ended up sitting across from Azzi, who was chatting with Aubrey and Caroline. Paige focused on her menu, trying to ignore the way Azzi’s laugh seemed to fill the whole space.
“Azzi, you’ve gotta try the chicken wrap here. It’s the best,” Caroline said, pointing to the menu.
Azzi smiled. “Ouuu that sounds good actually, thanks for the recommendation. I’ll take your word for it.”
Paige couldn’t help herself. “You don’t have to take her word for it, you know. You’re capable of making your own decisions.”
Azzi looked up at her, a spark of defiance in her eyes. “I’m aware, Paige. But sometimes it’s nice to get suggestions from friends.”
“Friends,” Paige echoed, her tone flat. “Right.”
Azzi’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Are you always this charming, or is it just me?” Paige blinked, momentarily taken aback. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Azzi shrugged. “Just making an observation.”
Paige opened her mouth to retort, but the words caught in her throat. She wasn’t used to being challenged, and Azzi’s calm yet sharp response threw her off balance. Instead, she just looked away, focusing on her food.
The table fell silent for a moment, the tension palpable. Aubrey cleared her throat, clearly trying to change the subject. “So, Azzi, what do you think of the campus so far?”
Azzi’s expression softened, and she started talking about how much she liked the facilities and how excited she was to start training. Paige tuned out most of the conversation, focusing on her food instead.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t ignore the way Azzi’s voice seemed to weave into her thoughts, making it impossible to completely block her out. And the more she tried, the more frustrated she became.
By the time they finished eating, Paige was more than ready to leave. As they walked back to the dorms, KK and Nika fell into step beside her, nudging her playfully.
“Why do you gotta be so mean to her?” KK asked, not really expecting an answer. “She’s actually super cool.”
Paige sighed, running a hand through her hair. “I’m not being mean. I told you we just… don’t click. It’s not that serious guys.”
Nika raised an eyebrow. “Not that deep? You barely said two words to her, and when you did, it was kinda snarky.”
Paige shrugged, not wanting to get into it. “It is what it is.” KK rolled her eyes and nudged Paige’s shoulder . “You’re so annoying. Just give the poor girl a chance, stop being mean to the pretty lady.”
Paige didn’t respond, but the words echoed in her mind long after she was back in her own dorm, lying on her bed and staring at the ceiling. She knew her friends were right, or were they? Azzi hadn’t done anything to deserve her hostility. So she thought , but deep down there was just something she couldn’t get herself to really spit out. There was something about the way Azzi seemed to effortlessly fit in, the way she smiled and laughed with everyone, that just irked Paige. It made her feel… what? Jealous? Insecure? She wasn’t sure, but whatever it was, it was strong enough to keep her on edge whenever Azzi was around.
As the days went on, Azzi became more integrated into the team, quickly earning the admiration and friendship of everyone except Paige. And though Paige continued to keep her distance, she couldn’t deny that the tension between them was growing more complex with each passing day.
For now, the animosity remained unresolved, but something told Paige that this was only the beginning. The next few months promised to be full of surprises, and she wasn’t sure if she was ready for what was coming.

One More Try
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: It all went downhill when your dad died. You were drowning, and time and time again, Nika would jump in to save you. Until you started to take her with you.
wc: 2,335
Contains: Alcoholism, death of a loved one, addiction
a/n: The Croatian translation I got is from Google Translate, so I have no idea if it's correct or not. If it isn't, let me know, and I'll change it. Enjoy!
______________________________
Part of you wanted to go back in time. The other part wished you could speed up, past the hard part. But you couldn't.
You'd dated Nika for two years, starting your sophomore year of college, and everything was amazing. She was kind, caring, and anything you could ever want in a girlfriend. You had your flaws, but you managed to put them behind you for her. You did a pretty good job, for the most part. Everyone slips up, but Nika was there to catch you.
That's not to say that Nika didn't have her own issues. She did. She'd built up walls from a previous relationship, walls that you tediously tore apart. You both loved each other despite the other's problems.
Arguably, though, your issues were far worse than Nika’s. While hers was a mental block, yours was not only mental, but physical. Before you met Nika, you were a party girl. Every weekend was filled with going to a bar or club, searching for an exhilarating night out constantly. It was okay at first, college is supposed to be filled with drinking and partying, but eventually, that's all you did.
Your grades began to slip, and you lost all of your friends, ones who tried to coax you into reining it in, and focus on your work. You were angry. Angry at your friends, angry at your family, angry at the world.
Then you met Nika. She was like a breath of fresh air. Even as your friend, she helped you clean up. She helped you realize you had a drinking problem, something your other friends never had the patience to do. She was always there for you. Through the withdrawals, through the sleepless nights, through the relapses. She was always there.
Eventually, you realized you'd fallen in love with her. You pushed yourself to be clean, for her. She deserved someone who had their problems under control, and you wanted nothing more than to be that for her.
You did. When you hit your one year sobriety mark, you asked her out. Much to your surprise, she said no at first, reasoning that putting too much emotional strain on you might cause issues. But with enough convincing, she eventually said yes.
And that was the start of it all.
Two years go by, and you've never been happier. You were three years clean, and you rarely went to clubs and bars anymore.
Until your dad died.
Your entire world crashed, as did your sobriety. He was your whole world, and even though he lived miles away, he always made sure to talk to you everyday. He loved Nika, their bond one of the strongest. She saved his little girl, how could he not like her?
When you heard about his death, you immediately called Nika, who was at practice at the time. She didn't answer, but with tears in your eyes, you dialed her number seven more times before giving up. Having no other good ideas, your heart broke further as you packed a bag and drove until you ran out of gas. You found yourself at a convenient store in the middle of nowhere, alone with your thoughts. After sitting in your car for two hours, you went inside and bought a bottle of liquor.
You downed half of it, tears running down your face. Your phone was off, so you couldn't get the thousands of pity messages from family and close friends.
You sat in the bed of your truck, bottle in hand, for hours. You watched the sunrise, feeling nothing but your heart being shattered.
Meanwhile, Nika had finally gotten a break from the excruciating practice following the team's loss to South Carolina. She checks her phone, and her eyebrows furrow in concern, noticing the missed calls from you and a couple of calls from your brother and mom.
She immediately stands up and walks out of the gym, standing outside as she calls you back.
No answer. She calls again.
No answer.
She repeats this process a few more times, before deciding to call your brother back, who answers immediately.
“He-” She starts, before being interrupted.
“Have you seen her?” Your brother asked abruptly. “Wha- no, no, I just got out of practice. What's going on? Everything okay?” She asked, her voice laced with worry, her brain flying through any possible scenario.
He's silent on the other end for a second, but answers quietly. “No-uhm. Dad died a couple hours ago, and nobody's been able to get in touch with her since mom told her. Was really hoping she was with you.”
Now it was Nika’s world to crash. She had no idea where you could possibly be. She'd done her research on recovering alcoholics, and she prayed you hadn't relapsed.
She finished her conversation with your brother, before going back inside, eyes filled with tears.
Immediately catching everyone's attention, she fills them in, and they all agree to help find you. They split up in groups of two, Nika being paired with Paige.
After three long hours, Nika starts to give up hope. “Maybe we should try again tomorrow. It's getting bright-” Nika starts.
She's interrupted by a phone call from KK and Aubrey. Paige picks up and puts in on speaker.
“Yo, what color is her truck?” Aubrey asked. Nika’s heart starts to beat a little faster. “Blue.”
“We found it. KK, pull over next to it.” Aubrey speaks. “ You want us to wait for you, Niks?”
“Fuck no.” She responds without hesitation. “Ju-just make sure she's not hurt please.”
“She doesn't look hu- oh shit.”
“What?!” Silence.
“What's ‘oh shit’?!” Nika all but screams into the phone.
“She's not sober, Nika.” KK answers softly. Nika freezes. All your progress, gone, and it's all her fault.
“Wha- what do you mean?” Nika asked, even though she and everyone else knew exactly what the brown girl meant.
“There's a half empty bottle of liquor in her hand.” Aubrey elaborates.
“Where am I going, Aubrey? Send me the ping, or whatever.” Paige says, before Nika can say anything else.
Aubrey hums in agreement. “I'll send you the location.” As soon as Nika gets the ping, Paige speeds towards the destination. Aubrey stays on the phone, and Nika can hear her and KK trying to get answers from you, to which KK informs Nika that you weren't speaking, and staring into space.
This worries her further, but she can't do anything. You don't answer. KK puts the phone up to your ear so Nika can talk to you. Nika’s body shakes with anxiousness, Paige rubbing Nika’s thigh, attempting to bring her some comfort. “Sranje to sam unčinio.” Nika mutters, putting her head in her hands. (Shit, what have I done)
Eventually, Paige pulled up to the other two cars.
Nika is out of the car before it stops moving, sprinting over to you, eyes raking over your body, inspecting for any signs of harm.
“Bebo, are you okay? Are you hurt? What's wrong?” She stood between your legs, bombarding you with overwhelming questions, before noticing the distant look in your glazed over eyes.
All you can do is shake your head, tears falling down your face as you look into Nika’s eyes. Her eyebrows stay furrowed as she pulled you a tight hug. “I was so worried about you.” She whispered against your shoulder.
You don't hug her back, you just rest your head on her chest.
“He's gone.” You mutter. She hums, her chest vibrating against your head. “I know.” She whispers.
“‘m sorry.” You whisper so softly. She almost misses it. “I'm so sorry.”
She shakes her head and pulls away from you, putting her hands on your cheeks, cupping your face. “It's okay, my love. It's okay. I'm just so glad you're okay.”
You shake your head, looking down at the half empty bottle that you drank. “I fucked up.”
“That's okay. Everyone falls. But what matters is that you get back up.”
Your heart flutters, the first thing it's done in about seven hours. “I don't know if I can come back from this one.” You look up at her.
She's beautiful in the sunrise, and even under the circumstances of her panic state and your drunkenness, she's the most angelic girl you've ever seen in your life. Her hair out of its normal ponytail, and in a bun on the back of her head.
She'd say the same thing about you, how your eyes were glowing in the sunlight.
“You will. You're one of the strongest people I know.” she pulls you into a hug, and this time, you hug her back. "We got this bebo." She pulls you into a gentle kiss before hugging you again.
After a while, she and Paige help you as you stumble to the car.
You wish that this was the last time they did so.
But after the incident, things only got worse. Your grades slipped once again, and no matter how hard she tried, Nika couldn't pull you out of this slump. But you weren't exactly helping her. You didn't want help. You'd found comfort in the toxic liquid, numbing the feeling of emptiness in your heart where your father once was.
Eventually, Nika had to cut it off. You knew it was coming, and you understood why, though that didn't make it any easier.
You'd always been supporting her basketball career, always going to games, picking her up after practice, and making food for her.
You didn't do those things anymore. You didn't do anything anymore. You didn't plan dates. You didn't leave the house unless it was for more drinks. You were right back where you'd started.
So when Nika showed up to your dorm in tears, you knew what was going to happen. In your head, you'd replayed how this would go in your head, and every time, you were angry with the Croatian. But when she said: “I can't do this anymore” all the resentment was forgotten, replaced with love and understanding.
She tried. She tried so hard to rescue you, but you can't start a car without the key.
You knew she was strong, strong enough to break up with you, because God knows the other, easier option was to stay with you and potentially lose herself while helping you find yours.
So you weren't angry. You were proud.
Fast forward a year, you were barely passing your classes, doing the bare minimum. You knew your dad wouldn't want you to give up, so you stayed, even after the break up. Nika was heartbroken by the breakup and threw herself into basketball.
When things got really bad, you thought about calling her, but you never did. You'd exchanged texts occasionally, her checking in on you, but the conversations never lasted long.
So all of that led you to here, handcuffed in the back of a police car.
Well, actually, what led you there was a bar fight you'd started, because you heard some bitch shit talking Nika. After all this time, you were still madly in love with her.
You don't even really remember how you got there. You just remember throwing punches. Throwing punches for someone you didn't know anymore.
And when the cops asked you for an emergency call number, only one came to mind, and that could be because you were young, drunk, and alone, or it could be because she's all you've ever known.
You gave them her number, and they called. No answer. They called again. No answer.
It's funny how the cycle repeats itself. They called once more before asking you for another number.
“I don't have another number. Try it again.”
The cop shook his head. “Sorry, kid, we called three times, no answer.”
Tears brimmed your eyes. You needed her. “I don't give a fuck, call her again.”
The cop sighed and called the number once more before coming back over to you. “Call it again.” You said. You're not giving up. The dial tone is all you have, and you need more. You need her.
This time, he put her on speaker, and it rang. And rang. Then, for the first time, on the third ring, it went to voicemail.
Declined.
The cop looked at you with sympathy. You just looked down at your lap. “Do you have anyone else to call?” he spoke softly.
“Only her, it's always only been her.” You say, tears falling down your face. “Call her again.” You whisper.
He shook his head. “She's not gonna pick up, kid. You can't think of anybody else?”
You shook your head, your frustration leaking through. “No. No! Okay!? There's nobody else! I don't have anybody else!”
“Okay, okay, calm down, alright. Why don't we go down to the station, and see if she answers when we get there,” he suggests.
“Just let me call, I'll give you the blood test, I'll- I'll go to jail, I'll pray to God. I'll do anything. Just call her again.” You plead with him. “Please.”
He sighs deeply. “Let's go to the station, see if she answers?” he repeats.
“I swear she'll call me back, just wait please. Please, she'll answer, okay, she will.” You say through sobs.
“Ma'am, are you on any medication?” he asked, eyebrows raised.
“Fuck that, sir, look, call her again. Then-then, if she doesn't call back in five minutes, you can take me to jail or whatever.” You sigh out.
The cop contemplates for a second before nodding. “One more try.”
He dials the number once more, letting it ring. It rings once. Twice. A third time.
“The number you were-”
“Fuck!” You exclaim, putting your head down in defeat. Tears fall from your eyes, as you look at the officer, who looks at you with pity.
“I'm sorry kid.”
“Yeah, me too.”
I'd dial drunk
I'd die a drunk
I'd die for you.

"Nika!"
Her laughter rang out in the small hotel room we booked for the weekend. The small trip being a getaway, a small treat. She rolled her eyes, "oh come on, I know you were thinking it!"
Her hand slid back up my thigh, trying to go further, but I swatted her away. "Niks, I swear if you don't stop-""
What?" She inched closer, our faces barely an inch apart, "you won't be able to stop yourself? Try me, pretty girl."
As the heat rose to my cheeks, I simply just looked away. Her chocolate brown eyes almost dragging me in, wanting to taste her sweet lipgloss covered lips.
"Aww, my baby tryna be in control?" Her hand had a mind of its own. Slowly traveling up my arm, touching ever inch she could. "You wanna be in control tonight, bebo?"
The way her first language rolled off her tongue was music to my ears, building up the feeling in my core that I was trying to simmer down.
"I need you to answer me," she was rough with her words. Suddenly, she was on top of me, holding me down in the king size bed she had to have. "Tell me what you want.
""I...uh," the words were lost in my throat. Her necklaces dangling in my face as she hovered over top of me. My eyes not knowing where to look; her dark and needy eyes or her full lips that looked so kissable in the moment.
"Speechless, huh?" The words slipped from her mouth as her head dipped to my neck, leaving open mouth kisses along it. The sensation releasing a couple embarrassing sounds from myself. "Don't hide them. I wanna hear them."
Her long, brown hair wrapped over one shoulder, the scent of it flowing into my nose at the closeness of our bodies. She lifted her head up for one moment, quickly tying her hair up in the messy bun I knew too well. "We're gonna have fun, lijepa djevojka, don't you worry."
Without hesitation, she started right where she left off. Kissing and marking my neck, leaving her imprint on me. Telling others I was her's, and I was.
"Nika..." Her name slipped between my lips. The sound earning a groan from the Croatian.
"Fuck...keep saying that..." Her kisses haulted, her eyes scanning over her work before she got up. "Undress."
"Huh?"
"You heard me," her shirt was thrown off in a second, I followed. My shirt thrown somewhere towards a corner, my pants right there with them.
"Look at you, so pretty. So so pretty." Her lips attached themselves back onto my body, her tongue darting out every once in awhile to soothe the spots she'd been working at.
"Niks...baby...I need more..." Against my skin I felt a smile grow on her lips.
"Where."
"You know where," she tilted her head, "Nika..."
"Fine...but I want you to beg."
"I...um..."
"Don't over think, just do it," her finger rubbed in a circular motion on my waist. "Tell me what you want, pretty girl."
"Please...touch me...I need you to....please Nika...please," smirking, she slowly moves further down my body. Her lips kissing every inch of my body; my abs, the inner parts of my thighs.
"Can I?" Her fingers looped into the thin layer of cloth that stood between Nika and the spot I needed her most. I noded quickly. A soft chuckle fell from her lips, "you're a little needy."
"Nika, just..." I could feel myself becoming frustrated. Her smirk just grew.
"Be nice. You'll get what you want." With that, she pulled down, tore them off, and threw my underwear to the side. Her hands firm grip on my thighs spreading my legs apart before her head dived between them. Her tongue swimming through my folds before flicking at the sensitive bud, pleasure soring through my body. Her lips attaching to it, sucking it while two of her finger drove into my hole. In and out, in and out, repeating until my head fell back and breathless moans erupted out of me. Every touch, every flick, placed so meticulous that it was pushing me quickly to the edge.
"Oh my God, Nika, don't stop, please, don't stop," her mouth and her fingers worked so well. Her mouth sucking harder as another one of her fingers drill into me. "Fuck!"
Detaching her lips, she lifted her head to look at me. Hands grasping the sheets, my head back as profanities left my lips. My eyes meet hers for a split second, before they fell to her lips. Cover in the slick and lipgloss mix. Her tongue darted out, licking up any remnants that were left. A groan left my lips at the sight.
"Nika...I'm so close..."
She smiled, stopping all motions. Whines leaving me, trying to gain some friction to release the built up knot in my stomach.
"Nika....baby...please..."She pulled out her fingers, placing the digits in her mouth. "Stay put. I have to do something."
"Nika...what...what are you doing?"
"Just wait." She left the room into the bathroom. I heard some commotion before she came out completely bare... except the strap that was tightened just right to fit her.
"Nika...wait..."
Before the words even left my lips, the plastic filled me. A loud moan sounded through the room, Nika's hips moving in a steady pace, a pace just right that I could already feel myself tightening around the strap.
"Feel good, bebo?" I nod, no words could even be formed. A soft chuckle fell from her lips. Her head dipping down to leave kisses on my body. "You're so beautiful...so pretty...so perfect."
With her words, it snapped. The thin knot in my stomach broke, moans filled the room as Nika helped me ride out my high. I felt my body slump. Nika pulling out easily. She disposed of the thing hugging her waist, grabbing a wet towel. "Let me clean you up real quick, okay baby?"
A nod is what I managed. Nika's hands worked to clean, which she did quickly before she laid down beside me. Her hands pulling me into her. "I didn't go to hard, did I?"
I laughed, "Nika... we've been together for years. That wasn't the roughest you've gone."
She rolled her eyes, "still was good though?""Trust me, you could never disappoint in bed."

Sorry guys....
