And if that's not enough, if her anxiety had already taken hold of her, if her trembling body and and frazzled mind had already fallen too far away for him to reach, he'd use his eye to call her back to him again.

Post-Myth Sylus thoughts:

In the modern day, would he still have the same love for present MC (who is DISTINCTLY different from her past counterpart), or would it have evolved to something different without the corrupting influence of greed or living in a world without wars? Would he love MC as she is?

Would he relish the opportunity to be gentle/soft with the MC in the modern day, and do the sorts of things that lovers do that he wasn't able to back then? (I mean in an intimate and not necessarily sexual way).

I know that he still indulges MC, but the intention this time seems to be more beneficial than corrupting--like he would rather see her freely smile or be encouraging or helpful in some way, whether he makes it obvious or not.

For me, the myth cards have really made me appreciate the connection that exists between them all the more because in this time it is unique and precious, even if some of the motions or gestures feel familiar, it's not the exact same.
