Welcome to Night City Gigs - a weekly prompt page that encourages interaction with those in the community! Regardless of your medium, we encourage you to participate and meet new people! Here's how it works On each Monday, at 12:00 (Noon) MST there will be a "Gig Post" with the information for the gig! Gig's will be either issued by a moderator or user-submitted; if you want to submit your own gig, please do from our page!
Once a Gig is posted, commenting under it (it can say anything, but it does need to say the OC who is responding to the gig!) will earn you a slot! Slots for the gig are determined by the Caper Crew Maximum; it will say on the Gig Listing! These slots are first come first serve for each listing- that being said, if you have participated in the previous listing you are considered LOW priority for the next one. This allows others to join in who haven't yet participated! Gigs will be available to join for 24 hours after posting- these posts will be labelled as CLOSED after those 24 hours and the individual's will be @'d in the comments letting them know they got the slot!
You then have time to create! Write, in-game photography, art, or even RP! Whatever you can contribute to it, do it! Have fun! Meet new people! Once you post content, please @ this page! We would love to reblog your content!
We ask that you read the rules below before participating (this is a requirement) and like the post to ensure that you have read it in full โ™ก

Anything above and below is subject to change- I'm sure that I'm overlooking certain aspects and rules might get more lenient or strict as we see how these go. Please message this page with any and all feedback or suggestions that you have! That being said, for now we ask of a few things:
References
Before applying for a slot, please ensure that you have some kind of reference for the character that you are entering for that gig. This is kind for those who are working with visual mediums. Not having a reference (even an in-game reference is better than nothing) might have you restricted from future gigs.
Please be kind to those participating.
As this is a group activity, there are going to always have a variety of skill sets, personalities, and tastes. Everyone has come here to allow the community to flourish and celebrate our interests. Finally, being kind is a lot easier than being mean. We're all adults here- please have a kind and calm conversation if you've come to a disagreement!
Tapping Out
Someone might enter a gig and then might not be able to create due to personal circumstances. In this instance, we please ask that you message the appropriate parties (it could just be this page) so you can pull out of that Gig. This is only a preventative measure so that nobody is taking advantage of free resources or having the rest of the Caper Crew members feeling as if the circumstance is unfair. Tapping out this way will NOT bar you from future gigs!
Age Restriction To stay safe, we ask that you are 18+ to participate and follow this blog. You will be immediately blocked and blacklisted if you break this rule.
Thank you for reading!
As we said, there might be changes with any of this. We will keep you updated when the rules have been changed!
Special thanks to @another-corpo-rat for helping with any and all ideas & writing! You're an amazing and talented person and this wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you for continuously supporting me, my ideas and endeavors! Love ya!! โ™กโ™กโ™ก

Plant Life๐Ÿชด
A response to @nightcitygigsโ€™s A Little Piece of Home, featuring @corpocyborgโ€™s V, Valerie Locke, and @merge-conflictโ€™s V, Valentine Myล›liwiec.ย Written collaboratively.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An armored van and a two-man crew. All this fuss over a plant, Valerie thought to herself in disbelief.
Well, she supposed most people liked plants. Besides, it wasnโ€™t as if she had anything against plants in particularโ€”her environments had always included them. Arasakaโ€™s Night City HQ had plenty, so did her own apartment in Corpo Plaza. But they were contained. Behind glass, in pots, or relegated to the Arasaka Jungle level. Nothing like this giant 'ganic monstrosity in the backseat, with its leaves bending in every direction and its gradually spreading supply of seedpods.
As she drove, Valerie kept glancing at the fern in the rear-view mirror like a cop eyeing a prisoner who was a suspected flight risk. The fixer, Hades, had mentioned the client wanted it in pristine condition, and Valerie Locke did not perform subpar work.ย
"Eyes on the road, Locke," came a voice from the passenger seat. It was the other merc, the one Hades had introduced her to when sheโ€™d shown up to get the van. The first thing that Valerie had noticed about her was that she was tall. But what had stuck in her mind was that she was an absolute vortex of energy. Valentine, sheโ€™d said her name was.
Valerie shifted her gaze away from her leafy prisoner's reflection. Unlike the backseat, the view outside the car windows did not feature greenery. This was the Badlands. Nothing but barren yellow hills as far as the eye could see.
-
โ€œSo, two mercs seems like overkill for plant transport,โ€ Valentine commented, fidgeting in her seat. โ€œYou think itโ€™s just a test, or is there something else we donโ€™t know about?โ€
โ€œGetting that thing in and out of the vehicle is a two person job alone,โ€ Locke pointed out, frowning at it in the rearview mirror. โ€œBut a simple job like thisโ€“ probably a test.โ€
โ€œIf we work well together, maybe weโ€™ll get rewarded with more interesting work,โ€ Valentine said, although as soon as she said that she worried sheโ€™d jinxed it. โ€œOr maybe weโ€™ll get stuck hauling more plants.โ€
โ€œMaybe,โ€ Locke replied, dubiously.
Valentine turned to check on the plant again, still somewhat bewildered to find greenery inside a truck. The thing had been a bitch to get situated and stable on the backseat without getting caught in the midst of its huge leaves and millions of tiny little seed pods. It still looked a little stressed, pressing against the ceiling of the car like it was yearning to break out and find the sun. She felt the urge to give it a name, although she wasnโ€™t sure that people named ferns. Plant ownership was beyond her pay grade but it seemed reasonable to treat them like pets. Why else would they be getting paid to deliver one?
โ€œYou think that thing is secure?โ€ she asked Locke, thoughtfully.
The pot itself was fairly large, but there was still room enough for it to slide in between the seats. With each pothole the van hit, the entire thing seemed to be hell bent on escaping out one of the windows, and its bulk was pressing further and further into the seat behind Locke.
โ€œSecure?โ€ Locke asked.
โ€œItโ€™s starting to slide around back there. Pull over and Iโ€™ll fix it.โ€
โ€œAre you kidding? Weโ€™re in Wraiths territory. No way.โ€
Valentine considered her options. There was just enough space for her to crawl over the center console into the backseat without disturbing the tree or kicking Locke in the shoulder. She opted to go in feet first, taking a firm grip on her own seat back before carefully turning to face the back, sliding one leg over the console in between the front two seats.
-
โ€œWhat are you doing?โ€ Valerie asked in genuine surprise.ย
โ€œYou said you wonโ€™t pull over, right?โ€ Valentine explained as she shuffled towards the backseat. โ€œThis way you wonโ€™t have to.โ€
Valerie held back an exasperated sigh. She did want to deliver the fern without any leaves snapping off, and she really didnโ€™t want to have to deal with the Wraiths. Even in a place as dangerous as NC, the Wraiths had a dark reputation. Valerie had always wondered how much of that was true and how much was manufactured to scare away intrudersโ€”sheโ€™d spent enough time at Arasaka to understand the value of well-written propagandaโ€”but she didnโ€™t want to find out how far theyโ€™d be willing to go to maintain their image.ย
She kept watch of Valentineโ€™s wriggling form in the rearview mirror. โ€œFine. Just be careful.โ€
โ€œIโ€™m being careful,โ€ Valentine insisted. She was in the back of the van now, reaching out her hand for the fern. Then Valerie noticed the NCPD vehicle behind them, flagging her to pull over. She complied immediately.ย ย
โ€œWhatโ€™s happening?โ€ came Valentineโ€™s voice from behind her.
โ€œNCPD,โ€ Valerie whispered.ย
โ€œHere? In the Badlands? Thatโ€™s outside their jurisdiction.โ€ย
Valerie didnโ€™t answer. A dark-haired man in an NCPD uniform had stepped out of the car and was approaching the driverโ€™s side of their van. Valerie lowered her window calmly and smiled at him. โ€œGood evening, officer. What seems to be the problem?โ€ย ย
โ€œWhatโ€™s going on back there?โ€ He asked bluntly. Valerie glanced back. Valentine hadnโ€™t had time to adjust her position, and was now halfway inside the plant's leafy radius.
-
โ€œJust securing our little passenger here,โ€ Valentine answered. The man hadnโ€™t moved a single facial muscle in the entire exchange so she decided not to try and lay on the charm too thick. She desperately hoped the plant hadnโ€™t been smuggled or stolen. Slowly, carefully, she eased herself into one of the open seats, hands visible as she picked off a few pods from her cuff. โ€œFeeling a little buyerโ€™s remorse.โ€
He stared at her for another few seconds, waiting for her to volunteer more information, and then turned back to Locke. Thankfully she knew enough to keep her mouth shut too, and he frowned just slightly. โ€œAnd what are you two doing out here with that?โ€
Two mercs, a plant, an armored van, Wraiths territory. The man could put two and two together and get four, but he was fishing for something, and he was doing it outside of NCPD jurisdiction. Outside of NCPD jurisdiction and not broadcasting his ID number like he was supposed to, although that was always hit or miss even in the city.
โ€œHelping a friend move,โ€ Valentine answered, easily. โ€œSomething we can help you with, officer?โ€
โ€œHelping a friend move, huh?โ€ he repeated. โ€œThat friend wouldnโ€™t happen to be Sophie Alma, would it?โ€
โ€œClaude Shannon,โ€ Valentine said, with an apologetic shrug. She was only half sure that was the name Hades had given them, but it paid to be cautious.
He peered a little further into the van, eyes lighting in a scan, but there was nothing else for him to find. โ€œUhuh.โ€ Turning to Locke, he fixed her with the same patient stare. โ€œYou sure about that?โ€
Locke was entirely calm. โ€œYes. Is there a problem?โ€
โ€œYouโ€“โ€ He pointed at Valentine. โ€œOut of the vehicle, nice and slow.โ€
She made an appeasing gesture, moving slowly while her mind scrambled to think of a signal to give Locke, but she didnโ€™t have to because at that moment an alert crackled over the short range broadcast: All units in the area, be advised of hostile nomad activity. Last seen at attached coordinates, heading north north-east. Multiple vehicles, number of hostiles unknown. All units in the area, be advisedโ€“
The cop swore under his breath and stepped away from the window, although he kept his eye on Locke even as he was making a holo call. Valentine couldnโ€™t tell if there was anyone else back in the car with him, but maybe heโ€™d left the rest of his friends behind.
โ€œJust go,โ€ she said in a low voice, pitched not to carry.
Locke turned to look at her, and then back at the cop, and then back at the fern. Her calculation was interrupted by the sound of engines and the rapid appearance of several nomad vehicles cresting over a nearby hill and sliding onto the road. Both of them instinctively ducked at the sound of gunfire, which pinged off the van and the NCPD car, sending the cop down into the dust.
โ€œHold on.โ€
-
Simple gig, my ass, Valerie thought as she ducked.ย
She waited for a lull in the sound of gunfire, and then opened the door and rolled out into the dust, winding up behind the NCPD officerโ€™s car. She made deliberate eye contact with him, trying to communicate that she was on his side. Then she activated her optical camo.ย
Her body disappeared. It was always an interesting experience, to feel like nothing but a pair of eyeballs. But Valerie didnโ€™t have time to appreciate it now. She peeked out from behind the car, analyzing the battlefield. The nomads had 3 vehicles, each with a driver and a passenger in the shotgun seat, all of whom were currently shooting in their direction. They were outnumbered 2-1 and that was assuming the NCPD officer realized they werenโ€™t working with the nomads. And assuming she could trust Valentine.ย ย
Time to level the playing field. She crouched down again and snuck out from behind the car, heading for a nearby outcropping of rocks she could use as cover. She made it just before her optical camo timed out. A valuable tool, but it used up so much energy and had such a lengthy recharge that it was only viable in short bursts.ย
She peeked out again. The cop was using the car as his cover, periodically popping out to shoot at the nomads. She couldn't see Valentine.
She turned her attention back to the nomads and analyzed their resistances to quickhacking. Nothing particularly special. An ICEPick should do it. There. Now to follow that upโ€ฆ she zeroed in on one of the shooters and uploaded the whistle quickhack.ย ย
"Fuck! They've got a netrunner!" He shouted at his squadmates. But it was too late for him. She had seized control of his leg cyberware and was slowly but surely bringing him in her direction.ย
That warning would definitely make her a priority target. But you couldn't shoot what you couldn't track. She reactivated her optical camo. With satisfaction, she heard the nomad shout in pain as one of her allies took advantage of her puppeteering, shooting him as he walked into the open. Then she was on the move again, back towards the original van.
Valentine was crouched behind the van. Valerie reappeared behind her.ย
"Neat trick," Valentine commented.ย
"Thanks."
"Do you think you can clear the way for me to get to one of their cars?"
"You have a plan, I assume?"
"No," Valentine said sarcastically. "Clearly, that was just a rhetorical question."
Valerie chuckled. "Understood. Be ready."
Best way she could think of to give Valentine a clear path for a few seconds was a squad-wide Memory Wipe. It would take all the RAM left in her cyberdeck, but hopefully Valentine would make it count. She queued it up directed at one of the nomads and set it to spread to all nearby targets within a small radius.
Nothing happened.ย
"Netrunner's outta RAM! Now's your chance!" The call came from the nomad's side of the standoff.ย
ย -
"Fuckinโ€“" Valentine swallowed the rest of the curse, and pulled the flashbang from her belt. It was the only one she had, since she hadn't thought to stock her full kit for what was supposed to be an easy run.
Locke was already laying low, so Valentine lined up a throw with the assistance of some soft and lobbed the flashbang along the calculated trajectory before turning her head away from the blast. Both her optics and her sonics were ready for the eye-searing light and the booming crack of the sound-wave that followed. Before it had begun to fade she was sprinting out from cover, feeling the white hot crest of adrenaline burning up the inside of her chest.
One Mississippi
The nearest car wasn't that far away, strictly speaking. Fifteen meters.
Two Mississippi
Fifteen meters of open air, no cover. Even if they were stunned the Wraiths were carrying semi-automatics and she wasn't the smallest target.
Three Mississippi
A burst of gunfire, close by, on the other side of the hood of the car she was trying to reach. It passed by her right side and she whooped loudly out of reflex, beating down the panicked fear with a loud burst of laughter. She hit the car, bracing herself for impact and ripping open the passenger side door.
The automated burst of chems from her implants kept her hands steady as she zeroed in on the inputs to the center console, jamming one of her control shards just under the display. Shouts and gunfire blurred together in her periphery, and she was dimly aware of the Wraith who had shot at her appearing at the door on the driver's side, before they crumpled against it, optics flashing from what she hoped was Locke's doing and not some further complication.
Once she got the confirmation of a successful connection she sprinted back to cover next to Locke, fixating momentarily on the sight of the bullet holes in the side of the vanโ€“ so much for not a scratchโ€“ before she slid down into place.
"Gotta be ready to delta," she told Locke, enabling her gesture controls. They were a little awkward to use in the middle of a gunfight, but it was better to look a little foolish than accidentally trip some internal control because she got distracted by someone trying to put a bullet through her skull or a blade in her chest.
She flicked her wrist and heard the sputtering cough of the engine roaring to life, along with a few more shouts. If they managed to get in and rip out the control shard they'd cut off her access, and she did not intend to give up her new toy so easily. She balled her left hand into a fist and shifted the hijacked car into reverse, before another twist sent it barreling backwards, accelerating as she lined it up so it was on track to smash into the other two cars, which were parked in parallel. The Wraith that Locke had disabled was left scrambling to get out of the way, and fellโ€“ to a bullet or a quickhack she couldn't tell.
"Time for a little more ram," she muttered to herself, laughing at her own joke. Another twist of the wrist and the car shifted into drive, and she grinned as she engaged the nitro boost. Had to hand it to nomadsโ€“ they sure knew how to have fun.
-
Well, holy crap, Valerie thought as the vehicle under Valentineโ€™s control barrelled headfirst into the other two. A little less systematic of an approach than she usually preferred, but you couldnโ€™t argue with results. The battlefield that only minutes ago had been balanced towards their enemy was now in utter chaos.ย
Valerie watched her allyโ€™s back carefully, making sure nothing had a chance to distract her while she was focused on controlling the car.ย
All of the nomads sheโ€™d counted were disabled at this point. Two were the victims of her control hacks, and the other four were a part of the smoldering wrecks that used to be cars. She couldnโ€™t see the NCPD officer, but she assumed he was either injured, dead, or hiding out somewhere.
โ€œTime to get the fuck out,โ€ Valentine stated matter-of-factly.ย
โ€œCouldnโ€™t agree more.โ€ย
She hurried back towards their van, Valentine following swiftly behind. Once both doors were shut, Valerie put the car in gear quickly in case any part of the wreckage decided to get up and start walking again.
Once sheโ€™d put a significant amount of distance between their car and the battlefield, she checked on the plant again in the rearview mirror.ย
She whistled quietly. โ€œGodโ€ฆ can you believe it? It looks almost as good as new.โ€
โ€œItโ€™s a resilient little guy,โ€ Valentine said in a bemused tone. She almost sounded like she was growing fond of it.ย
โ€œNot so little,โ€ Valerie said skeptically, remembering the struggle theyโ€™d had getting it in the van in the first place.ย
โ€œRegardless,โ€ Valentine dismissed the correction with a shrug. โ€œAn undamaged plant just means more eddies for us.โ€ย
โ€œNow youโ€™re speaking my language.โ€ V slowed down. She pulled up a map of Night City and the surrounding Badlands on her optics, overlaid above her usual field of vision in as unobtrusive a way as possible. โ€œWe should be nearing our drop point.โ€ย
A few minutes later, she spotted the outline of tents in the distance, and some more permanent looking structures among them. She pulled over while they were still a little distance out. Better not come too close right awayโ€”it might be perceived as more aggressive than she intended to come off. Unless they defaulted to hostility, the nomads should be sending a meeting party out towards them sometime soon. And indeed three figures shortly began to approach.ย
โ€œHere they come,โ€ Valentine said as they neared. โ€œSmall group, minimal firearms. Good signs.โ€
โ€œHereโ€™s to hoping,โ€ Valerie replied.ย
The apparent leader of the groupโ€”an older man with more hair on his chin than his headโ€”signaled to the other two, and they stood nearby, on guard but not overly defensive. Then he approached their vehicle.ย
โ€œWho are you and what are you doing here?โ€ he asked them.
โ€œWe have a delivery,โ€ Valerie replied. She leaned back in her car seat casually, making sure he had a clear view of her hands so he knew she was unarmed. As if her extensive collection of cyberware wasnโ€™t deadly enough on its own. โ€œFor Sophie Alma. Is she around?โ€
โ€œA delivery,โ€ he repeated suspiciously. โ€œWhat sort of delivery?โ€
โ€œThe green sort,โ€ Valentine chimed in. She gestured towards the rear of the van. โ€œYou can see it. In the back.โ€ย
โ€œAnd what the fuck would she want with a random plant?โ€ย
โ€œBeats me. Her father hired us to deliver it to her. A parting gift, he called it.โ€
โ€œI see.โ€ He paused in consideration, then turned to one of his guards. โ€œGo get Sophie.โ€ย
-
Sophie Alma was a short woman, and older than Valentine had expectedโ€“ not a teenage runaway but a hard-eyed woman in her thirties, and she obviously had been reluctant to answer the summons. But her expression changed as soon as she saw the fern through the window, frowning deeply before she hastily rubbed at her forehead, trying to cover the emotional response by adjusting her headwrap.
Valentine exchanged a quick look with Locke before opening the door and slowly stepping out. "You're Sophie Alma?"
"Yes," Sophie answered, and then cleared her throat as she sized Valentine up and down. Unimpressed, and suspicious. "My father hired you? For that?"
"Express delivery," Valentine said, with a smile that failed to charm. "Did you know the NCPD are looking for you, by the way?"
Sophie lifted her chin, as all three of the other nomads looked at her in surprise. "NCPD doesn't come out here."
The thunk of a door closing drew both their attention, and Locke raised a hand in apology at the interruption, settling into a parade rest that looked very natural on her. "There was a squad out here, and an officer who pulled us over asking for you. Not clear if they were related." She shrugged with one shoulder. "Recon wasn't part of the job."
"What did he look like?"
Valentine had a terrible mind for facesโ€“ she looked to Locke, who furrowed her brow a moment in recall before answering. "White. Heavy build. Brown hair, starting to go gray. Left leg a little shorter and heavier than his right, walked with a limp." She nodded minutely when she was finished with her report, her polite but stiff manners making one of the nomads snort.
"He's dead," Valentine added helpfully.
The leader of the group sighed. "Just what we need, getting blamed for some pig's death."
"We also engaged with the Wraith," Locke said. "He could have just as easily been their target."
"NCPD can't tell the difference between raffen shiv and Snake nation," the leader snapped, and Locke shot Valentine a look of exasperation.
"Can send you the coords if you want to do cleanup," Valentine offered neutrally, breaking the tense silence. She softened her voice, addressing Sophie directly. "Do you want the plant?"
Sophie bit her lip, eyes sliding once again to the fern, and its bright healthy green leaves. Valentine thought she was going to refuse. It was enormous. It looked like the kind of plant that needed lots of water and shade, neither of which the Badlands offered in any great quantity. It shed its little seed pods everywhere. And she had grown attached to the idea of hauling it back home and letting it spruce up one of the lonely corners of her apartment.
"Yes," Sophie said. "Yes, I'll take it."
"Great," Locke said, looking faintly relieved. "Where do you want it?"

I've heard its better to make new years resolutions/end of year summary BEFORE the new year starts, for good luck!! So firstly...I am NOT dead (surprisingly!!) and miss all you lovely mutuals :> I do NOT have a good reason besides life got busy, but I'm still so attached to cyberpunk that I WILL be making an effort to do stuff more here <3 That being said, I know I owe like, a lot of people art (owe is personal to me, it was for the giveaway!) but worry not!! My main news year resolution is to draw on a schedule, so the art WILL be starting/sent out to everyone next year <3 promise!! They all got half finished so it shouldn't take too long, but I promise I didn't forget!!
Finally, some sad news, I will be closing the nightcitygigs tumblr <3 I know that there were quite a few folks who were really invested into it, but I simply don't have the mental fortitude to keep it going and I know there's quite a few blogs on here who do a similar thing. Sorry to those who interacted, I promise before I delete it I'll reblog the engagement/posts here and spread hella love!!
Anyways I missed y'all and love y'all and hope you're all doing well :>

It's always bittersweet when a family parts ways, more bitter than sweet on this occasion but I digress. Sophie Alma has left the Aldecaldos and her father wants to give her a parting gift; she's refusing to go back to the camp, says she's not interested in listening to him try and guilt-trip or bribe her into staying. So, he's asked for the gift to be delivered on his behalf.
Listen, I know it doesn't seem much but he'd prefer if it arrives pristine. No crooked leaves, no spilled soil. And if Sophie refuses it well...at least we tried.
Why am I giving you such a small job? Consider it a test; that, and I owe her old man. Still got a bit of that Nomad in me.

Yโ€™know if thereโ€™s one thing I can take from my decades-long work in media and exposing the corps, itโ€™s this: soldiers get shafted no matter what. Either they do their time then get their cybernetics peeled away and replaced with what was outdated three years ago, or theyโ€™re made into a walking war-machine during their service, enough to make Basilisks look like a kidโ€™s toy. Sgt Coleman falls into the latter.
He went on leave a few days ago, was supposed to return this morning but didnโ€™t show up, and now Iโ€™m getting reports of a cyberpsycho down by JigJig Street โ€“ armed to the teeth; sandy, optical-camo, arm cannon, you name it โ€“ doesnโ€™t take a genius to put two and two together here.

Gig Type: Assassination โ€“ Stolen Identity
Objective: Assassinate the individual claiming to be a fixer in Watson.
Stipulations: Target Only - The client doesn't want any collateral. Kill only the specified target.
Complications: The Mox: You are operating within this gang's territory; they might not be happy about that.
Zone & Location: Watson | Kabuki
Caper Crew Size: 2-6
Pay: 15,000 EB
Details:
I know this isnโ€™t a cyberpsycho incident, but itโ€™s important it gets done well and without any mistakes. Someone is going around, claiming to be me, and getting new mercโ€™s to go and fight- no, KILL cyberpsychoโ€™s all around the city. Their effectiveness is less than stellar, but it goes against all I stand for. Go and deal with them, however you see fit, but donโ€™t get anyone else killed.

Rainy Night in the City Center
Gig Name: Rainy Night in Westbrook
Gig Type: Item Retrieval (Briefcase)
Objective: Get the hardware container back.
Complications: An Arasaka convoy has the briefcase. Expect to see the convoy already moving by the time you get on-site.
Stipulations: Try not to get any civilians killed.
Zone: Westbrook
Location: Medium Office Building
Caper Crew Size: 3
Opposition: Corporate Troopers
Details: My client is trying to get a piece of tech out of the city limits. He's managed to piggyback the container in an Arasaka convoy, heading through Westbrook under the guise of "outbound supplies". You're here for the important part: breaking into the van with the tech, getting out with the tech. We can't have Arasaka discover what's been smuggled out in their trucks. And you'll have to do it while the convoy is moving. If you're not fast, the chaos you sow could drag from Westbrook all the way to City Center - Arasaka's doorstep.
One other thing. The client is offering a bonus for ensuring that no civilians are brought to harm while retrieving the tech. Whether it's a test from the man or a personal scruple - make of that what you will.
Difficulty: Moderate
Pay: 1500eb (Bonus: +1500eb)
Fixer: Tangle (OC fixer)

Gig Type: Assassination
Objective: Hunt down and kill a wanted criminal.
Stipulations: Target Only - The client doesn't want any collateral. Kill only the specified target.
Complications: Edgerunners are on the same gig.
Zone & Location: Pacifica | Coast View
Caper Crew Size: 1 (5 Edgerunners/Merc's can apply)
Pay: 55,000 EB
Details:
Hey kid, seems like we got a hot one on our hands. Some rat crawled out of Dogtown and ended up stealing an insane amount of data from one of my clients. Even they didn't want to tell me what he stole- but apparently it's something Barghest wants to know really badly.
But, the client is willing to drop hot money to any fixer that can get a merc to kill this guy before he even steps one foot back into Dogtown. Intel tells me that there's other fixers sending out a Merc too- so be prepared to have some company. And keep it clean, why don't you? Pacifica is already a blood soaked mess as it is.
This is a unique VS type gig. To enter means that you're racing against the clock to complete the mission. Once this gig is closed, one individual will be chosen at random to successfully complete the gig (meaning 4 others WILL fail.) This will be communicated upon the gig closing. Entering this gig means you agree to these terms and will play by the rules.

Gig Type: Gun for Hire
Objective: Exterminate Scavs that have occupied the building.
Stipulations: Guns Blazing - The client wants chaos, not discretion. Get it done and do it loud.
Complications: A pair of beat cops wander by at the wrong time. (Optional!)
Zone & Location: Scavs | Maelstrom
Caper Crew Size: 4-5
Pay: 1250 EB / Caper
Details:
Got an easy one for you lot. Some Scavs are trying to nest up in an apartment on this corner in Northside. Now residents arenโ€™t happy โ€˜bout that for two reasons; one, who is ever happy to hear a gang of butchers is operating two doors down? And two, if the Maelstrom catch wind of them being about, itโ€™s bye-bye to the block.
So, matterโ€™s simple: go in, root them out. Oh, and should go without saying but try not to get the residents caught in the crossfire.

Gig Type: Special Delivery
Objective: Deliver the parcel to the nomad's daughter.
Stipulations: Not a Scratch - The client wants the cargo delivered without it or the vehicle getting damaged.
Complications: A Lawman and 4 cops are conducting a separate investigation in the area.
Zone & Location: Raffen Shiv | Rocky Road
Caper Crew Size: 3-4
Pay: 300 EB / Caper
