Will There Be a Season 2 of The Way Home? Chyler Leigh Teases How Jacob’s Twist Could Uncover the Pond’s ‘Origin Story’

t the main storyline in The Way Home season 2 will be around Jacob Landry���Kat’s younger brother and Colton and Del’s son—who went missing in 1999 and was presumed dead. The season 1 finale of The Way Home revealed Jacob is still alive and time-traveled to 1814 after he followed his dog, Finn, into the same family pond that sent his future niece, Alice Dhawan, back to the 1990s.

“And if that’s exactly where Jacob is, then how old is he? What is his story like at this point? What did happen? But where is he now? And what kind of life has he had to make over there if the pond didn’t bring him back to where you need to be?” Leigh said. “And does Kat always need to go back to the 1800s? And what does that spark? Does that help us discover how the pond came to be at all? Which is, I think, definitely something that we are exploring in season 2. We need to know the origin story of one of the biggest characters in the show, which is the pond.”

Who’s in The Way Home season 2 cast? The Way Home season 2 cast hasn’t been announced yet, however, it’s expected that it will include most of the cast from the first season. Twilight of the Ice Nymphs and The Heart of the World

Guy Maddin’s TWILIGHT OF THE ICE NYMPHS (1997) is strange even for that queerest of film directors, possibly because he was forced by his producers to make changes that later led him to partly disown the film. That included redubbing leading man Nigel Whitmey, who then had his name removed from the credits. The film is a fairy tale maudit. Peter (Whitmey) falls in love with the mysterious Juliana (Pascale Bussieres) while sailing from prison to his family’s ostrich farm in a land where the sun never sets. At home, he finds his sister (Shelley Duvall) infatuated with the local doctor (R.H. Thomson) and feuding with their handyman (Frank Gorhin). After a fling with a fisherman’s pregnant wife (Alice Krige), Whitmey discovers Bussieres is Thomson��s mistress. This is played out in a fantasy world entirely created within an abandoned Winnipeg factory. The use of color is both fascinating and oddly reminiscent of Mel Ferrer’s GREEN MANSIONS (1959). There are marvelous surrealistic touches like the constant presence of ostrich’s in the farmhouse and the use of garishly lit cycs as backdrops. John McCulloch’s score adds to the film’s hallucinatory power, and although Peter’s dubbed line readings are appallingly flat, Gorshin and Duvall are quite magical. Included in the disc is Maddin’s short “The Heart of the World,” a brilliant six-minute tribute to Soviet Constructivism crammed with more cinematic inventiveness (and fast cuts) than most filmmakers can achieve in a lifetime of work. State scientist Leslie Bais manages to view the center of the Earth only to discover its heart is about to die. Is the answer the love of a mortician, his brother, who plays Jesus in the local passion play, or a corrupt businessman trying to buy her. As he often does, Maddin transforms the conventions of silent cinema into something utterly new and completely his own.

The Story Line:

The Western intelligence services, especially the G8 join forces to recognize the Pakistani arms supplier and the terrorist leader Barkawi as the leader behind the several terrorist assaults from around the world, particularly an upsetting hotel terror attack in Manila, and approved an American drone hit on the compound of Barkawi, apparently murdering Barkawi and the whole family. After two years from the death of James Wilson, the UK Prime Minister, world director from the main Western states, with Benjamin Asher, who create plans to be in London at his funeral. The Secret Service agent together with the close friend of Asher, Mike Banning, who was assigned by Lynne Jacobs to manage the President's schedule, despite the truth that Leah, Banning's wife, was expected to deliver their child.

After coming thru the Air Force One at the Airport of Stansted, Banning pushed the arrival of the President, guiding Marine One to bring them to the Somerset House and thru a car to St. Paul Cathedral. When they arrive, some attacks matched with Kamran were executed by the terrorists masked as the Metropolitan Police, the Guardsmen of the Queen's, and some other primary responders, damaging some of the landmarks in London and eradicating five of the coming world leaders; Prime Minister Robert Bowman together his wife was the first killed when the bomb destroyed the limo in the Trafalgar Square. Agnes Bruckner, the German Chancellor is seriously wounded by the two assassins that outside the Buckingham Palace. Tsutomu Nakushima, the Prime Minister of Japan with his driver is murdered at the Chelsea Bridge when the two suicide bombers destroyed the sustaining spans, triggering it to give in into the Thames. Antonio Gusto, the Italian Prime Minister with his spouse is murdered when the bomb decimates one of the towers of Westminster Abbey's bell. Lastly, Jacques Mainard, the French President was killed when the bag that contained an explosive exploded following his boat, also smashing the Parliament Houses and Lambeth Bridge.

The Writers’ View:

Sadly, while the label seemed interesting, but it does not go with the story and the film itself. Indeed, it is not an actual movie in the suitable sense of the period; it is a half truth campaign. Gerard butler, being a secret patriot service agent, who saved the subsistence of his dear president while battling with the bad guys of some black skin with a beard, they called terrorists. It will not take that long before someone can fully understand what it meant. If you are someone that think that America is heaven, then get ready to hand out your life to your president, or if you believe anyone else that will not immediately accept opinion, then this movie is a must watch for them.
