When I made "Lunar" someone asked for a legacy challenge for human sims. So I finally wrote one!
Since some people don't like big legacies because it takes forever to finish, I made another small legacy! Only 5 gens.
If you know my stories from twitter or my "pamsimmerstories" you know I usually use a lot of adult themes and this is not different, so be aware this can be a little dark.
TW: Spouse death, while giving birth; Drug Use, alcohol and other drugs; Child Abuse, Neglect; Infetility
LEGACY CHALLENGE: "Dream Odyssey"
Basic Rules:
Start as a Young Adult - any gender you want
Normal/Long lifespan (which one you prefer)
You can use freerealestate cheat if you want to begin.
When I put ( / ) is because you can choose what you prefer or if you don’t have said pack you can choose the base game one.
Colors are not mandatory, but it could be fun?!
Requirements: Cottage Living, University, City Living, Nifty Knitting, Horse Ranch, Get Famous, Get Together, Snowy Scape, Island Living, Seasons, Parenthood.
Mods recommendations (Not required):
McCommand Center,
UI Cheats,
Long Distance Learning,
RPO.
Basemantal Drugs
Generation 1: “Dandelions” by Ruth B.
You moved from your parents to live in a big city and go to your dream college (San Myshuno Institute)*. You’ve always wanted to be a doctor/veterinarian and this was finally happening!
One day you met the love of your life in between classes (preferably someone you met that is also at uni) you get married, but one day you caught them cheating and you feel like this is the end of the world.
So you leave everything and go to Henford on Bagley and become a farmer. You meet someone that makes you open up again and you two have a beautiful family.
*if you don’t want to use mods like the ”Long Distance Learning” by Ravasheen, you can just pretend you’re going there living in San Myshuno
Traits: Good, Animal Enthusiast/Loves the Outdoors, The last one you pick, to make things interesting, pick a bad trait like high maintenance
Career: Start as University Student in San Myshuno (you can finish it and start the career or you can just drop university in the middle of your term); End up as a farmer in Henford
Skills: Logic/Vetenerian and Cross-Stitch
Hobby: Cross-Stitch or Knitting
Aspiration: Country Caretaker
Relationship: fall in love at university, get cheated on, runaway to Henford and meet someone new. You can have children with the first one if you want to or you can wait until you meet the second sim. It’s up to you.
Color: Green/Yellow
Generation 2: “High” by Miley Cyrus
You grew up in the middle of a bunch of animals, your parent was a nature freak and you became one as well. But your kind of animal is a bit different from your parent. You love horses and you dream in live at Chestnut Ridge and have your own horse and participate in competitions and earn money from it.
You find love, but when your wife is giving birth to your baby, she dies (your sim could be a woman and you use cheats to make her pregnant and if you don’t use mods as RPO/Pandasama you can also cheat to kill the sim).
[The Sims 4 killing cheats: [death.toggle true - kill your Sim] I've never used it, so I don't know if it really works]
So you see yourself as a single parent juggling between parenting and taking care of your horse and participating of competitions.
Traits: Horse Lover, Rancher, the last trait you choose.
Career: Autonomous as Horse Competitor, you can try odd jobs as well
Skills: Riding, Painting/Nectar Making
Hobby: Painting/Nectar Making
Aspiration: Championship Rider
Relationship: Meet someone, become a widow/er. You can find love again if you wish.
Color: Orange
Generation 3: “No Love In LA” by Palaye Royale
When you were born your mother died and you never met her. Your other parent was always busy with his horses and competitions that you now hate Chestnut.
You want more for your life. As soon as you age up, you go to Del Sol Valley and you’re finally able to follow your dream of becoming a star! You want to be a famous actor/actress. But not everything is like you thought it would be, you thought you would become a 5 star celebrity quickier than you did. But you never give up.
Find a celebrity and get married to them just for fame (I guess you’re gonna need cheats for them to meet).
[Modify Relationship
You'll need the full name of your Sim and the celebrity Sim (or vice versa). If it doesn't work, try " LTR_Friendship_Main" at the end.] (I also never tested this one...but in case you don't have mods, try this)
One day you’re gonna meet someone who’s a nobody and fall in love, you’re gonna cheat on your partner and get pregnant/get someone pregnant.
You have two choices:
leave your spouse and be with your love or
stay in a unhappy marriage and pretend the cheating never happened (if your sim is a male, never talk to the pregnant sim again and one day a child shows up at your door, this is gonna be the heir. And if your sims is a female, pretend the kid is your husband’s child. It doesn’t matter, you’re gonna fail as a parent no matter what).
Traits: Self-Assured, Ambitious, and a bad trait of your choosing
Career: Actor
Skills: Acting, Dancing, Photography
Hobby: Photography and also dancing, go to nightclubs often, drink a lot (if you don’t play with mods pretend your sims is an alcoholic, if you play with mods like basemental your sim is definitely an alcoholic and maybe had a drug addiction, let’s go dark here)
Aspiration: Master Actor
Relationship: Marry for fame and cheat on your partner and get pregnant of impregnate someone this is how your heir is gonna be made.
Color: Red
Generation 4: “Flares” by The Script
Your parent should never be a parent.
You grew up in a spolight because of your parent, but you hate it. Everything is so fucked up and you just want to run away as far as possible.
When you become a teen, you're going to run away from home and go to Mt Komorebi, drop from school and work in a part time job.
To scape your own mind you start a few hobbies such as snowboarding/skiing/climbing.
When you’re young adult you meet someone while doing one of those things and you two fall in love. You two start a family and are very happy.
Traits: Adventurous, Loner, and a trait of your preference
Career: Teen: Part Time Job; Young Adult: Salaryperson
Skills: Two of these: (You can choose: Snowboarding/Skiing/Climbing)
Hobby: Choose two from 3 (Snowboarding/Skiing/Climbing)
Aspiration: Extreme Sports Enthusiast
Relationship: Find love when your sim is a young adult and this sim is gonna be actually happy :)
Color: Grey
Generation 5: “Light” by Sleeping At Last
Your parents were loving and you loved Mt Komorebi, but you feel like you need to run away from the cold mountains of Mt Komorebi.
When you grow up you want to live in a summery place, so you choose Sulani.
You fall in love more than once, but your relationships never work. You’re also infertile, but you want a kid so baaaad, so you decide to adopt one after years of trying.
You're going to raise a kid alone, maybe get yourself a dog as well? You want to be the best parent someone could be.
Traits: Family Oriented, Child of the Ocean, and a third trait of your choosing
Career: Any of the freelancer careers
Skills: Parenting, Flower Arrenging/Singing
Hobby: Flower Arrenging/Singing
Aspiration: Superparent
Relationship: All your relationships will fail, no matter how hard you try. One day you finally realize it and just accept that you’re going to be alone and you can be happy like this. Then you adopt a child (could be a baby if you want to) and maybe a pet as well.
Color: Blue

GROWING UP LEGACY CHALLENGE
* ˚ ✦
| by wudlund
i wanted to create a legacy challenge that focusses on the parent-child relationship and how that impacts their adult life. (i know growing together would be the perfect pack for this challenge, but i can't afford it rip)
-> this has not been playtested so pls let me know if anything is too difficult or doesn't work :)
-> included packs: get to work, outdoor retreat/jungle adventure, city living, get together, seasons, cats & dogs, discover university, high school years, parenthood, strangerville, island living, paranormal stuff, snowy escape, cottage living, nifty knitting, eco lifestyle (if you don't have a pack, just exclude that part of the challenge)
-> for each generation, they should complete their aspiration, master any skill(s) i've outlined, complete a collection and master their career (if relevant) the recommended world is only my opinion, you do not have to live there :)
-> whenever 'parent' is mentioned, i mean the founder/heir before as some generations do not specify a spouse (they are secondary characters here, babes)
GEN 1: The Parental Scriptures

Your spouse has an affair in adulthood and elopes with their partner
Have the workaholic lifestyle
Die in adulthood (you can cheat this to be any death - like dying on duty)
GEN 6: The Detached Secrecy
You learned early in life how unpredictable and fleeting life is and how futile attachments are. Meet Bryson and JoAnna, my two founding sims for the sims in bloom challenge! Married and living in the cottage Henford-on-Bagely, they both share a love for the outdoors, gardening, and animals! I did speed things up a tinyyyy bit by giving him a wife, i felt it would've made things slower.
Gen 1 - Daisy (white, yellow)
Gardening has always been your passion. Owning a large, healthy garden is all you’ve ever wanted in life, even if your nails constantly have soil under them and you have so many broken pots you’ve lost count. Your happy place is meditating in the shade of the fruit trees that you grew yourself from tiny saplings. You sit and wonder what your family will grow to do, and hope that they will flourish just as beautifully as your garden has. This is the start of your family legacy!
Traits: Clumsy, Cheerful, Loves the outdoors Aspiration: Freelance Botanist Career: Gardening Skills: Gardening, fishing, wellness
Live on a lot with the lot challenge ‘Simple living’
Grow a cowplant and keep it alive for as long as you live (if it dies, immediately plant a new one)
Grow 5 perfect plants
Marry a sim who also has the ‘loves outdoors’ trait
*Gain the Outdoorsy lifestyle
*Grow a death flower
-Since the last two are optional I may or may not do them!
General rules
For each generation complete the designated aspiration, career, and skills.
Asterisk * marked points are optional, you can choose to complete these to make the challenge more difficult.
There are two colours associated with every generation. Use these for genetics (berry/banilla), or just clothes and house decor if you wish.
Start each new generation with a small house/apartment and 1000 simoloeons. If you want to make the challenge harder, you can start each generation on an empty lot with 0 simoleons (rags to riches style!)
Play on any lifespan you wish (short is not recommended).
This challenge requires:
Expansion packs - City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living

Gilbert Baker's Pride Legacy: an LGBT Legacy Challenge
General Concept & General Rules
This Sims 4 challenge is based on Gilbert Baker’s original 8 stripe rainbow pride flag. Baker assigned each stripe a meaning connecting to the LGBT community. Each generation embodies one of these stripes and their meanings.
Every generation heir must complete their aspiration and reach the top level of their careers. Each heir must wear at least one item of their respective stripe colors at all times. Each heir can be any gender, including trans and nonbinary genders, unless specified otherwise. Each heir can be any sexuality, unless specified otherwise. The only rule: the main sim cannot be both cisgender and heterosexual/heteromantic. You are encouraged to hang the pride flag of your sim’s identity, whatever you decide it is.
For written rules, keep reading below. For rules in graphic form, see here.
Note: Diversity is a cornerstone of our community. Please be conscious of the sims you use to play this challenge- LGBT people can be all body types, all races, and all religions. Everyone deserves spaces in the community and in your gameplay.
The rules contain uses of the packs listed below. Each instance is noted by the acronym next to the name. I have provided base game alternatives to each one of these uses, noted next to each use!

You were raised by extremely uptight parents and were denied every aspect of pleasure as a child. Now, as a young adult, it’s time to explore! You’ve always enjoyed the finer things in life - that is, sex, food, and art. You might have a little bit of a hedonistic streak, but what’s wrong with that? So did Dorian Grey! Your goals in life are to have as much sex, eat as much good food, and see as much great art as possible.

Your parent/s brought you up in a life of luxury - you always had the best food, the best clothes, and you spent lots of time at art museums. You want everyone else to be able to experience life’s same pleasures, so you turn to charity. You like to make everything with your own hands and give them away - it makes you happy to see your work out in the world, making others happy and living in community. That’s the meaning of life, isn’t it?
Note: this gen has two aspirations, which might feel overwhelming, but the Neighborhood Confidante one is only one level, and the goals overlap with this gen’s goals!

Your parent/s loved to give away everything they had. While that’s an admirable choice, you’re a little different. You’re all about objects - you like to have as much as possible, in order to provide a good life for your future children. You fall in love young and immediately start a family, hoping to spend the rest of your life with them. Unfortunately, you get too wrapped up in your work and your spouse divorces you. You spend the rest of your life trying to help your children and heal yourself. You’re also a very caring person and want to help everyone you can, and you choose a career which allows you to do so. All you want is to see your kids succeed in life.

Get divorced as a young adult or adult
Have all of your children have the top-notch infant and top-notch toddler traits, and graduate with A’s in school
Gen 4: Yellow (Sunlight)
Your parent/s were always really set on you being successful, which was annoying. Not that you don’t want to be successful, it’s just that your definition of success is pretty different than theirs. You’ve always felt a little different, a little alien in your own body. When you’re a teenager you realize you’re trans, and begin taking steps to feel more at home with yourself. As an adult, you’re happier than you’ve ever been, and you’ve even found the love of your life and discovered your love of music - the only thing is, you’ve been so focused on your transition you forgot about… the career, making-money part of life. You don’t really care. You find a small house and live there with your partner and children, never working, just enjoying your happiness and creativity.

Live in an apartment with at least one bedroom less than you have children (i.e. 2 bedroom w/ 3 kids)
Only ever date one sim, marry them and max both friendship and romance
Customize your gender settings as a teenager, can be any combination as long as not the same as at birth
Never have a job, even part-time
Live on an off-the-grid lot for at least one age category
Gen 5: Green (Nature)
Your parents were the perfect couple, and they never stopped talking about it. They were each other’s first and only loves, and they want the same kind of never-ending love for their children. The thing is, you’re not sure you’re into that sort of thing. The most important thing, to you, is Mother Earth. You’re dedicated to preserving nature just as it is - and you find a group of friends who have just the same goal. You live with them your whole life, and eventually you decide to adopt a child together. You’re excited to pass on your love for the environment to a new generation.
Traits
Green Fiend (EL) (alternative: Loves Outdoors)
Loyal
Insider (GtW) (alternative: outgoing)
Career
Conservationist (IL), Environmental Manager branch (alternative: register as independent gardener, or Civil Designer (EL))
Aspiration
Freelance Botanist
Goals
Never have a romantic partner, never woohoo, customize your sexual orientation settings to reflect your lack of interest in romance and woohoo
Live in a quasi-commune/community or rental lot (FR) commune with at least 4 other people
Live on a lot with the Reduce and Recycle trait, and transform your neighborhood eco footprint from neutral/industrial to green (EL)
Max the gardening, herbalism (OR), and fishing skills (alternative: gemology (CC) or charisma)
Adopt a dog or a cat (C&D), a horse (HR), a cow, a llama, and at least one wild rabbit (CoL) (alternative: get some frogs & fish)
Make your heir have the bad manners character trait (PH) (alternative: unhappy infant trait)
Gen 6: Turquoise (Magic)
Your group of caregivers taught you to value and care for nature. So you took it to the next level and connected with nature so much that you became a spellcaster. You use your magic to help others, mostly - and summon a few animal friends. Your unusual communal upbringing gave you a few interesting traits- you’re fine eating out of the garbage, and you’re always up for an adventure, no matter how reckless. But you’re fun-loving and magical, and what more could anyone ask for?
Traits
Adventurous (SE) (alternative: goofball)
Loves Outdoors
Glutton
Career
Secret Agent
Aspiration
Spellcraft & Sorcery (RoM) (alternative: Chief of Mischief)
Goals
Max the mischief and rock climbing (SE) skills (alternative: fitness)
Achieve rank 6 spellcaster (RoM), have either a Leafbat or Glowfrog familiar (RoM) (alternative: finish the MySims trophy collection)
Have only one child, make the child have the low self-esteem trait (GWT) (alternative: unhappy infant trait)
Have a partner in crime as a child or teen, pull three successful pranks at school
Gen 7: Blue (Harmony)
Your parent was fun-loving and literally magical- they could summon animals at will and clean the floors with a flick of the wrist. Unfortunately, that kind of lifestyle didn’t bode well for a stable upbringing. You’re going to do everything you can to be the parent you never had- you’re determined to have a large, loving family, living in harmony with the world and each other. You want the most typical, average, perfect suburban life possible. But you have some… erratic traits you inherited from your parent. Plus, society’s idea of a “perfect normal family” doesn’t include a nonbinary, bisexual parent. These things seem like obstacles to your dreams- but eventually you realize it’s not you that’s wrong, it’s just that society’s picture of perfect harmony needs to change to include you.
Sim Characteristics: this sim must like multiple genders and be nonbinary/genderqueer
Traits
Erratic
Perfectionist
Romantically Reserved (LS) (alternative: Family Oriented)
Career
Salaryperson (SE), either branch (alternative: business, either branch)
Aspiration
Big Happy Family
Goals
Have 4 kids
Take your family on vacation at least once in adult life (to any vacation world, or alternatively, to a park every day for a week)
Max the parenting (PH), baking (GtW), and knitting (NK) skills (alternatives: charisma, handiness, cooking)
Have a max relationship with a high school sweetheart, but break up and marry someone else
Live in a typical blue suburban house in Brindleton Bay (C&D), Copperdale (HSY), Willow Creek, or Newcrest
Have two cats or two dogs (C&D) (alternative: have another child)
Gen 8: Violet (Spirit)
You had the perfect suburban life. Your childhood home was filled with laughter and love and many, many siblings. Your parent had a steady job and was the kindest, most loving parent in the world. But you still feel like there’s something missing. As a child you hate being around people and instead find solace in fictional worlds. Finally, you realize you’re missing some excitement, a spark, and a deep community. You decide to reconnect with your ancestors - both your actual family ancestors, and your queer ancestors of the past. They guide you throughout your life and lead you to your happiness, helping you gain confidence, love, and spirit - and help you realize you’re not alone in this world.
Sim Characteristics: if you’re a part of the LGBT community, I encourage you to make this sim reflect your own identity, if possible! If you’re not, I encourage you to make this sim an identity you haven’t encountered thus far in this challenge- go through the flags and see which ones you haven’t used!
Traits
Loner
Self-assured
Bookworm
Career
Freelance Paranormal Investigator (PS) (alternative: freelance writer)
Aspiration
Extreme Sports Enthusiast (SE) (alternative: bodybuilder)
Goals
Max the medium (PS), writing, and skiing (SE) skills (alternatives: comedy, fitness)
Live on a haunted house (PS) lot for at least one stage of life (alternative: live on a lot with the spooky trait, meet 10 non-family ghosts)
Befriend every past heir in their ghost forms
Befriend 3 non-family ghosts

CAREERS LEGACY CHALLENGE — A STORY BASED LEGACY
hello! this is my new legacy challenge based off of sims 4 careers!!! it started with me creating a new save and needing a place to organize my ideas, and it became this 10 generations legacy! this has a lot of room for storytelling and developing your own stories, but it also has gameplay focused rules! your sims all have some background detailing for you to comprehend why they want to follow that career! i hope you all enjoy this! if you give it a chance, post and tag me! i also have more generations being planned, but they’ll be extra gens ;)
GENERAL RULES + GUIDELINES:
all required rules have to be completed before moving to the next gen
rules that have a * are optional!
a few cheats are allowed, but try not to overuse them. only in gen. 1, you’ll be allowed to use freerealestate, bb.enablefreebuild, money cheats and university cheats. for the rest of the gens, you can use cas.fulleditmode for other sims, live edit/debug cheats for decorating your house and you can use UI cheats if your game broke to complete aspiration milestones
you must join the careers from each generation, and you also have to reach level 10 of them, even if it requires extra skills (i think this is kinda implied)
i tried my best to make this mod-free, but gen 3 has a modded aspiration. i did give an unmodded alternative, though!

since you were a kid, you strived for the best. you lived with your mother and her spouse, no sight of your dad. growing up, you had a fiery personality, which lead you to make a single friend in your entire life. you always wanted to be the best at everything, and help people get justice. you discovered that doing yoga kept you in check. all was going well: you were going to the university you always wanted, opening the path to your dream along with your best friend, until they died. how will you navigate life now?

Packsploration Legacy Challenge
by @emilieplayssims
(Originally created on April 13, 2022)
(Last Updated: October 19, 2023)
GOOGLE DOC WITH UP TO DATE RULES HERE
DISCLAIMER: As of the last update the challenge has only been playtested up to Gen 4 as I’m still working my way through it; as such, the later generations might be unbalanced. If you notice that some requirements are too easy or too hard to achieve, please let me know!
If you’re like me, you tend to collect Sims packs, and sure, you use the CAS and Build items but you go on playing the game like you’re used to, barely even looking at the new gameplay the packs just unlocked.
In this challenge, each of the 16 generations explores 1-3 packs so you can get familiar with gameplay aspects you might have never used.
I know the Not So Berry challenge was built similarly, but a lot of packs came out since its creation, and the packs are spread out across the generations instead of each generation exploring one pack.
This challenge uses all expansion packs; all game packs except for StrangerVille, Journey to Batuu, and My Wedding Stories; and the Paranormal and Nifty Knitting Stuff Packs.
My reasoning for this is that StrangerVille and Batuu both have their own storyline to playthrough and so the gameplay exploration is built in, while My Wedding Stories can be used for the various weddings you will have throughout the generations and doesn’t really warrant a dedicated generation. (You can pick Tartosa for the 13th generation’s first house, if you wish to play in it.) As for the Stuff Packs, Nifty Knitting and Paranormal are the ones that offer the most gameplay.
Since each generation is a different pack, it should be easy for you to skip some if you’re missing a pack — you might just have to rework the generation’s backstory to have it make sense.
I hope this challenge might introduce you (and me!) to new ways to play The Sims 4! Have fun!
Basic Rules:
Each heir must move to the specified Home World when they become a Young Adult. If the rules don’t specify a world for that generation, you’re free to live wherever you please.
Each generation must have at least one child (natural birth or adopted) to be the next generation. Other than that, all relationships, weddings, kids, and personal life events are completely up to you, unless otherwise specified.
You can use each generation’s aesthetic as a suggestion for CAS or Build Mode but it is not mandatory
Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If more than one aspiration is listed for a generation, that heir must complete all of them.
Keep the lifespan on normal.
Occult generations can either be born occult by having the previous generation find an Occult to mate with, or they can become occult during their lifetime by various means — unless otherwise specified
The offspring of an Occult, if born Occult too, can either stay Occult or become Human by various means.
Gen 1 - Discover University
Welcome to Britechester — the perfect place for young minds like yours who love learning. In fact, you love academia so much that you don’t leave the university, even after graduation. You stay in Britechester and enter a career in Education so that you can pass the love of learning onto new students.
Home World: Britechester
Career: Education
Aspiration: Academic
Traits: Genius, Geek, Jealous
Aesthetic: Hipster Academia
Rules:
Master Research & Debate and Robotics skills
Must live with at least one roommate or in the dorms until becoming an Adult
Gen 2 - Eco Lifestyle
Growing up on a college campus, surrounded by the brightest minds of our time, has expanded your horizons and sharpened your critical thinking from the youngest age. You’ve always known you wanted to make a difference and leave this world better and cleaner than you found it.
Home World: Evergreen Harbor (Port Promise Neighborhood)
Career: Civil Designer
Aspiration: Eco Innovator
Traits: Green Fiend; Maker; Recycle Disciple
Aesthetic: Mismatched Minimalist
Rules:
Master Fabrication and Juice Fizzing skills
Gen 3 - Island Living
If there’s one thing you learned as a kid, it’s reduce, reuse, recycle. So when you hear about the gorgeous island of Sulani, a tropical paradise that needs a little TLC, you know that’s where you belong. And maybe these crystal clear waters will reveal some new things about you… A mermaid tail, perhaps?
Home World: Sulani
Career: Conservationist
Aspiration: Beach Life
Traits: Child of the Islands, Child of the Ocean, Loves Outdoors
Aesthetic: Island
Occult: Mermaid
Rules:
Must reach level 3 of Clean Environment by performing ecological activities on the island of Mua Pel’am

Gen 5 - City Living
Your childhood was not exactly the clean, stable life you would have picked if you had a choice. Creepy crawlies, sleeping on the ground, outhouses? No thank you. As far as childhoods go, yours was pretty great, and there’s not a lot you’d change about it. You just wish you weren’t so far away from everything and everyone, and you’re a bit tired of all the responsibilities that come with a farm (all that feeding and cleaning and gardening gets tiresome). You were an excellent student, and you landed a serious, stable job, all to fulfill your dreams. It’s a lot of pressure, though, so you need an outlet. Earn an Excellent Reputation as Interior Decorator (Not to be mistaken for the “Public Image” Reputation that came with the Get Famous Pack)
Gen 12 - Get Famous
You were raised around your parent’s big crew of friends, and you thrived under their attention — even as a toddler you were an absolute charmer. Growing up, you know you have the it factor and you will do anything it takes to see your name in shining lights.

Being the child of a global superstar is exhausting to say the least. Red carpets, paparazzi, hordes of fans — all while you’re trying to do your homework? You need a break. You find some long-awaited peace and quiet in the world of mindfulness — yoga, massages, inner peace. Unfortunately, the peaceful nest of zen you’ve built for yourself turns out to be haunted. You take it in stride and discover you have quite a knack for paranormal investigation. Before long, ghosts, ghouls and spirits have no secret for you. Become good friends with Bonehilda
As an Adult, move to Glimmerbrook and ask a Sage to train you to become a Spellcaster
Must reach Virtuoso level of Spellcasting
Gen 14 - Dine Out + Vampires
Your parent was a Spellcaster. You’re a vampire. It’s like something out of a YA novel. Unfortunately, the life of a YA hero, with all its drama, is not for you. You’re a sweet goofball who just wants a normal life. Chill with your friends. Work at your diner. Hope nobody’s weird about going to a vampire’s restaurant. Yeah, people will talk, but you’re happy and that’s all that matters.

Must move to Copperdale when you have kids to give them a normal life
Gen 15 - High School Years + Werewolves
Your parent was a Vampire. To ensure you’d have a normal life and not the life of an occult like them, they adopted you and raised you as normally as possible. They didn’t expect you to get bitten and become a werewolf on your Teenage birthday. You make the most of it: you’re a real-life Werewolf on Campus and you get super popular for it! It’s a fun way to be, so you keep it up into adulthood: Simfluencer-slash-streamer by day, climbing the ranks of the Moonwood Collective by night! Who says you can’t have it all?

Work both Simfluencer and Videogame part-time jobs as an adult
Must become Rank 5 of Werewolf ability (Apex)
Gen 16 - Growing Together + Horse Ranch
Being raised in a werewolf pack makes for a strange childhood. Maybe that’s why you became a horse girl (gender neutral), as a way to escape. Either way, as soon as you can, you move to Chestnut Ridge to become a Championship rider. You mellow out a bit when you get older and you decide to move closer to civilization and try your hand at nectar-making. Through it all, nothing is more important to you than family, and you give your kids a stable life like you never really had.

I wrote a Sims 4 legacy challenge! This challenge is designed to have you play through different kinds of family and relationship structures, as well as playing sims who have negative traits. Oftentimes I get stuck in a rut playing with happy nuclear families, so this is my way of going outside the box. I hope some of you play this and have fun!
Required Packs:
Cottage Living, City Living, Snowy Escape, Island Living, High School Years, Discover University, Seasons, Parenthood, Nifty Knitting

- You may have any number of children unless the rules of the generation state otherwise
- You may make a spouse for your heirs in CAS if you wish
- Be creative and have fun!
Gen 1: Matriarch/Patriarch
From the time you were a teen, all you wanted was to be a parent. You treated all your baby dolls like they were real kids, and that want for parenthood never left you as you became an adult. After inheriting your grandpa’s old farm, you move to Henford-on-Bagley to start your new life as a farmer and animal caretaker. As your farm grows, a small town romance begins to blossom between you and a local. Together, you run the farm and make it into a success. You’re the messiest person they’ve ever met, but they love you just the way you are. You sell produce and eventually, when the time is right, have children, coming full circle and accomplishing your life goal.
Rules:
- Complete the Country Caretaker and Big Happy Family aspirations
- Master the Cooking and Gardening skills (you may choose to master the Nectar Making skill if you want an added challenge)
- Have no official job, just make money by selling produce/animal products
- Move onto a lot in Henford-on-Bagley and build a farm (you may build this farm with starting funds ONLY)
- Have the Wild Foxes and Simple Living lot traits on your home lot

- Have at least three children
- Have one of the spares take over the farm when you become an Elder
- Have at least one horse and a cellar for nectar making (if you have Horse Ranch)
Traits:
Slob, Animal Enthusiast, Family Oriented
Gen 2: Wild at Heart
You’ve always dreamed of traveling the globe. You want to experience different cultures and know what it’s like to live in other worlds. Unfortunately for you, fate has other plans. You get pregnant as a Teen with your high school partner, and break up as a result. Your parents help you raise the kid while you’re in school, and you get a job as soon as you can. You move to the big city the first chance you get, to start your traveling journey. You hop around different places for a while, working different jobs and having different flings. You never do end up settling down, but you make sure your children always come along for the ride.
Rules:
- Complete the City Native, Beach Life, and Mt. Komorebi Sightseer aspirations
- Reach level 5 in at least 5 skills
- Get to at least level 3 in 3 careers (switch jobs when you move)
- You may do odd jobs if you so choose
- Move to San Myshuno as a YA
- Live in the corresponding world to your current aspiration. When you complete an aspiration, move to the next world (example: when you finish the City Native aspiration, move out of San Myshuno and go to Sulani)
- Have at least five sims at friendship level at all times (your child does not count for this)
- Achieve the “Adrenaline Seeker” and “Frequent Traveler” lifestyles
- Never live with a partner or get married
- Have a baby as a Teen (you may cheat or use mods for this)
- You may only have one child
Traits:
Non-committal, Outgoing, Adventurous
Gen 3: Reclusive Genius
From a young age, you got to see a lot of the world. Traveling with your parent made life exciting, but also left you feeling isolated. You tried to make friends, but nothing ever seemed to stick. You were an overachieving child, so your grades were good enough to land you a spot at Foxbury. There, you spent all of your time studying robotics and how different mechanisms work. You had no time nor interest in friends or parties. After years of study, you had finally crafted a Servo. While its original purpose was to help you around the house, you quickly realize that this robot is more than it appears to be. You become best friends with them, something you’ve never experienced before. While you don’t desire romance, you do want children, so you have a science baby by yourself and raise the child with your best friend.
Rules:
- Complete the Goal-Oriented (teen) and Super Parent aspirations
- Master the Robotics and Logic skills
- Complete the Engineering career (Mechanical Engineer branch)
- Try to make friends as a child, but remain at acquaintance level
- Get A’s upon graduating HS
- Get into the Physics Distinguished Degree at Foxbury (you may pause aging while at university)
- Obtain the “Indoorsy” and “Techie” lifestyles
- Don’t make any friends until you have crafted your servo
- After crafting the servo, slowly form a close friendship with them
- Have a science baby as a single parent and raise the baby with the servo
Traits:
Loner, Genius, Unflirty
Gen 4: Suburban Sweetheart
You’ve always been your parents’ little darling. You did well in school, you were kind, smart, and infinitely curious about the world. Unfortunately, you were also cursed with social anxiety. It was always hard for you to make friends, god forbid flirting! You spent a lot of time with your hobbies as a result, and knitting ended up becoming a major passion of yours. You work really hard to become better at socializing, so that you can have lots of friends and maybe even a partner. You finally manage to overcome it and fall in love, eventually getting married and having kids together. Now that you’re settled down, you can focus on your career and raising your kids.
Rules:
- Complete the Admired Icon (teen) and Lord/Lady of the Knits aspirations
- Max the Charisma and Knitting skills
- Reach level 10 of the Politician career (Charity Organizer branch)
- Be part of the cheer squad as a Teen
- Win Prom Royalty
- Live in a suburban neighborhood (examples: Willow Creek, Copperdale, Brindleton Bay, etc.)
- Have your human parent move in with you when they become an Elder
- Overcome your social anxiety to fall in love and get married
- Have at least two children
Traits:
Socially Awkward, Romantic, Good
Gen 5: I Hate This Family!
You’ve always felt really out of place in your family. Your parents are such goody-two-shoes, it makes you sick. You’re not good at much in life, but you do have a talent for two things; mischief and writing. Writing has been your escape from your family since you were a child, so it was only natural that this would be the career path you’d take. You’re actually really successful as a writer, but you still manage to get up to nefarious things in your free time. Once you’ve had your fun though, you find that that other Evil sim might be good to settle down with after all.
Rules:
- Complete the Villainous Valentine AND/OR the Master Vampire aspiration
- Max the Writing and Mischief skills
- Complete the Writer career (Author branch)
- Gain the Evil trait as a Child
- Marry another Evil sim
- Be turned into a vampire as a YA (if you own Vampires)
- Have at least two children
- All spare children also have the Evil trait
Traits:
Evil, Bookworm, Proper
Gen 6: Black Sheep
You are the most immature sim to ever live. At least, that’s what everyone says anyway. You grow up with extremely low self esteem, no thanks to your evil family. They always compare you to your more evil siblings, and it isn’t fair! Sick of feeling like an outcast, you decide to rebel against them as a teenager, and start sneaking out of the house to go hang out with your friends at the bar. That’s when you discover your greatest passion…partying! Coming from such a traumatic background, you act a little strange..but other sims still seem to really like you. You decide to become a bartender, since that’s where the people (and the party) are at! You get into a hot and cold relationship with a coworker, and decide to elope on a whim. That turns out to be a horrible decision. In fact, you spend so much time arguing with your spouse that your children end up falling by the wayside. After the divorce, you decide that romance doesn’t matter after all, only partying does.
Rules:
- Complete the Party Animal aspiration
- Max the Mixology and Charisma skills
- Reach Level 10 of the Culinary career (Mixology branch)
- Have a Difficult family dynamic growing up, switch to a Distant dynamic as a Teen (if you have Growing Together). Have a Distant relationship with your own children
- Age up to a YA with at least 3 negative Character Values
- Go drink Juice and dance at a bar every Friday night as a YA
- Elope with a coworker soon after you become a YA
- Get divorced shortly after having your second child
- Do not get married or date again for the rest of your life
- Your firstborn child must become the heir
Traits:
Erratic, Party Animal, Childish
Gen 7: The Overcorrector
Your parents didn’t really pay you much attention as a kid. They were far too busy squabbling over random things to bother to care for you. That’s why you as the oldest had to step up to the plate and become the parent that your siblings needed. You raised them and yourself, by yourself, which made you a hyper-independent adult. You attend college on a loan, determined to make it completely on your own. You’re a success, and get hired at a prestigious law firm right out of university. Determined not to make the same mistakes your parents did, you wait a bit to get married. Unfortunately for you, sometimes things don’t work out, even if you plan them to. You have an amicable divorce, and afterwards take the time to focus on yourself and heal. Sooner than you expect, you fall madly in love with a sim who is just right for you. Together, you build a beautiful life and help each other achieve success.
Rules:
- Complete the Academic and Mansion Baron aspirations
- Max the Research and Debate skill
- Reach level 10 in the Law career (Private Attorney branch)
- Age up with at least 3 positive character values without help from either of your parents
- Join the Chess club in high school
- Go to University soon after aging up to a YA (you may pause aging while attending university)
- Get a Language and Literature degree
- Get married midway into your Young Adulthood, get divorced soon after aging up to an Adult
- Get remarried before you become an Elder (your second spouse must share at least one trait with your heir)
- Have at least one child with each spouse
- Obtain the “Coffee Fanatic” lifestyle
- Have a Distant family dynamic with your parents (if you have Growing Together)
- Have a Strict family dynamic with your children, a Difficult relationship with spouse #1, and a Close relationship with spouse #2 (if you have Growing Together)
Traits:
Overachiever, Snob, Materialistic
Gen 8: Just Take It Easy, Man
Unlike your parents, you never really felt a drive to do…well, anything. If chill were a person, it would be you. They tried to instill the same ambition in you, but it kind of backfired on them. All you ever really enjoyed was cooking, but being a chef sounded like wayyy too much pressure. Why not just become obsessed with grilled cheese instead? You have a ‘go with the flow’, easygoing attitude towards life. You spend your days lazing on the couch, eating grilled cheese (of course), and letting your partners take over the housework. After all, they both love to clean, and they also know that you HATE it. You help with the kids as you can, but the best days are always spent snoozing the time away.
Rules:
- Complete the Grilled Cheese aspiration
- Max the Cooking and Video Gaming skills, but do not reach higher than level 6 in any other skills
- Have any part time job, but use up all your vacation days and frequently call in fake sick, be late to work, leave early, and slack off on the job
- Have two partners, both must have the Neat trait (you may use mods or cheats to avoid jealousy)
- Help with childcare, but no household chores
- Have Cooking and Video Gaming as your likes, every other activity your sim must dislike
- Order pizza every Friday night
- Obtain the “Sedentary” lifestyle
- Eat a grilled cheese at least once a week
Traits:
Lazy, Glutton, Cheerful
Gen 9: Star Athlete
If anyone loves sports, it’s you. While one of your parents was spending their time on the couch, you were spending yours on the monkey bars and the basketball court. While you dream of being a pro athlete, that’s not all you want out of life. You also strive to be popular and liked by everyone! Some might think you’re a little self-absorbed, but you don’t care. You marry young, against all of your parents’ wishes, but you think you know best. That is, until you catch your fiancé cheating the night before the wedding! You say nothing in the moment, but soon take your revenge by leaving them at the altar. However, there’s a problem; you already had a child together. You decide to raise the child anyway, because you already love them, but you refuse to let your ex ever see them. You move your childhood best friend, who’s been by your side your whole life, into your place to help you raise your kid in their other parent’s absence. You live together as friends for years, until one day you begin to see them differently. You fall wildly in love, and get married soon after, giving you a gift you never thought would be within your reach again.
Rules:
- Complete the Friend of the World aspiration
- Max the Charisma and Fitness skills
- Reach level 10 in the Athlete career (Professional Athlete branch)
- Live in a “Needs TLC” apartment your entire Young Adulthood
- Be best friends with another Bro sim
- Have at least three keg parties as a YA
- Get engaged as a YA to a Mean sim, but leave them at the altar after witnessing them cheating
- Have a baby with your fiancé before they cheat
- Move your best friend in after you leave your fiancé, have them adopt your kid/s as care dependents
- Have a home gym from YA onwards
- Fall in love with your best friend as an Adult
Traits:
Active, Jealous, Bro
Gen 10: The Sea’s Sweet Serenade
You have two passions in life; the sea and your music. You move to Sulani as a YA to gather inspiration for your music, with the goal of someday becoming a famous artist. You’ve always felt a deep pull towards the ocean, and you fell even more in love with it when you saw it. One night, you meet a breathtaking sim on the beach, and you have a lot in common. They’re a creative type too, a painter, and you both have a great respect and admiration for the ocean. You slowly fall in love, move in together, and have children. The strange thing is, you’ve never seen them in the bath. They always insist on showering or bathing alone. One day, you find out their secret; they’re a mermaid. That doesn’t bother you in the slightest, though. They’re still the love of your life, after all. Turns out they were the muse you needed all along, and soon you become a popular musician.
Rules:
- Complete the Soulmate aspiration
- Max the Guitar, Violin, and Piano skills
- Reach level 10 in the Entertainer career (Musician branch)
- Move to Sulani as a YA
- Marry a mermaid who has the Child of the Ocean trait, place them in the Artist career if they’re not already
Traits:
Music Lover, Child of the Ocean, Clumsy

Hi! Hello! It's me, I wrote another legacy challenge!
Someone asked me to continue the dream odyssey one, but I had no inspiration to continue it, instead I had an idea with this one. You could use this as a continuation for that one, maybe.
🌈 RAINBOW LEGACY🌈
Every color has a meaning right? In this legacy challenge we’re going to have a 7 generations for each rainbow color.
graphic cards
Basic Rules:
Start as Young Adult
Cheats are allowed, but maybe it will be more fun to earn the money? Since some of the gens are money related.
Normal lifespan is recommended
Required packs: Snowy Scape, Parenthood, StrangerVille, Get To Work, City Living, Nifty Knitting, Cottage Living, Horse Ranch, Lovestruck
The color meaning I took from here: Canva
GEN 1: RED
“Red is considered to be a color of intense emotions, ranging from anger, sacrifice, danger, and heat, through to love, passion, and sexuality.”
You’re here to find love, more likely to destroy other’s people marriage and relationship in general. You’re here just for the chaos, but one day you get pregnant and you’re going to suffer the consequences of your actions.
Just 1 child
It’s preferred that you complete your aspiration first and then have the child or at least have the child when you become an adult
Your sim loves going to the karaoke
Traits: Self-Assured, Evil and Romantic
Aspiration: Villainous Valentine
Skills: Mischief, Romance (when lovestruck comes out), Singing
Career: Your choice
GEN 2: ORANGE
“Orange is a fresh, youthful, and creative color. It has the warmth of red and the optimism of yellow, and it communicates activity and energy and encourages socialization. Orange looks and feels fresh and healthy and can even stimulate appetite. And because it is very easy to see it is used to catch attention and signal safety.”
Despite of the parent you had, you choose to focus on the brightside of life. When you become a teen you’re going to runaway from home and live in Mt Komorebi. You’ll fall in love with sports and find the love of your life and be very different from your parent.
Your sim’s hobby is knitting or cross-stitch
Traits: Adventurous, Cringe and Loyal
Aspiration: Extreme Sports Enthusiast
Skill: Choose between rock climb / snowboarding / skiing (or do all of them), Knitting or Cross-Stitch
Career: Your choice
GEN 3: YELLOW
“The color of sunshine and sunflowers, yellow is optimistic, playful, and happy. It can also be associated with mental clarity and intellect.”
Your parents were amazing and you grew up in a loving home, but you hate the cold weather and you want to live where it’s mostly warm. You grew up and you find yourself loving arts and you want to become a famous painter, maybe even open your own art gallery.
Your sim’s hobby is photography
Traits: Ambitious, Clumsy, Cheerful
Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire
Skill: Painting and photography
Career: Painter and maybe open an art gallery (with get to work you can open a retail store and sell your paintings)
GEN 4: GREEN
“Green has two paradoxical meanings—one being nature and the environment and the other being money. When it comes to nature, green represents renewal and growth. It is also associated with wealth, prestige, and greed.”
You watched your parent thrive through their career and that’s what you want for yourself. So you become too focused on your career and forget about your partners… yes, partners. Your partners are always getting sick of your workaholic soul and are always leaving you. But one of them leave you with a kid.
Have at least 3 different partners, you could have more
Only have one child

You love your parent, but that house full of people stressed you out. Now you want to live your own life far from them, when you stumbled on a mystery in this weird town. After you solved the mystery you found your match and had a beautiful family of your own.
Move to StrangerVille as soon as you can
Only have a child after solving the mystery
Your sim’s hobby is gemology

Career: Your choice, but maybe the military career?
GEN 7: VIOLET
“Aside from the border, violet evokes the same feelings of intelligence and confidence that blue does. It is also associated with creativity and individuality.”
Your parent is a bit too paranoid, always telling you about a mystery they helped solving and now your mind is running with ideas! You want to be a writer but also you want to be a scientist. You’re so divided and you don’t know what to do. Maybe both?
Your sim’s hobby is fishing
If you want to choose the scientist career, you could gain writing skill and write a biography and publish it later.

Castaway Challenge for sims 4
You were on a plane which crashed and now you are stranded alone. What will you do?
Intro: Hello for this challenge you will need island living (for now) as I have made the island you need for the challenge there and with that pack. My gallery id is: NichoDB
Here you can find the island I have made for Sulani for the challenge, I will be making another one base game friendly in case you don’t have island living. This is somewhat a legacy challenge as you will need to survive on the island for 10 gen (generations)
starting out with cas:
1 sim any age from teen to adult
Any traits really, may randomize if you want to.
The rules for the island and first gen:
get sim onto island, made it easy there is a ladder leading in so no need for cheats.
Pick 2 garden beds, and one tree bed from the basement.
Pick 1, either chickens, bee’s or goats and sheeps may only pick up to 3 in all of goats and sheeps (2 hens and 1 roster, 3 goats and 3 sheeps are in the household inventory) You can trade them for meat, indgredents and simoliens they will leave the bag at the egde of the lot wich you can drag in.
Pick 1 bed of choice, from the basement may change the color of the bed.
Pick one storage chest with 1 suitcase, may change color also from the basement.
Pick 2 hobbies: there is a small gathering of hobbies, knitting, painting, handiwork and such. You may only pick 2. These will be important choices, as they will have consequences.
Pick 6 book's from the lilttle bookcase thing. You may buy book’s, but you may only pick 6 in all.
Pick 1 grill or the cooler.
Pick the toilet if you don’t have, jungle adventure for the pee bushes on the island.
Pick 1 trashcan.
Pick laundry if you want.
Lot traits Off grind must be on, if you have cottage living so must Simple Living, and great soil must be on too, may pick any other traits and challenges for the lot.
___________________________________________________________________________
Now put all plant’s, and the 2 ladders in the family inventory and delete everything in the basement. Now the 1 gen starts, rules:
Skills will determine what you can and cannot do. So if you want a hut/house you’ll need handiness skill, the higher the more you can make/buy. Gardening will determine how many plant’s you may have and how much from the harvest you may keep. If you have nifty kitting, the knitting skill will allow you new clothes and outfits. Painting will allow you to change color on objects you make/buy, so the higher skill the more color you get else it’s the wood/brown colors neutral colors, on the objects.
Handiness unlocks 1-3(Small decorations, and big objects that look broken or not put together right) 4-6 (Walls max 10x10, windows, doors, stairs no more than 4 steps and railings/fences) 7-8 (All hobbies and other objects, toilets, beds, kitchen stuff all objects are now unlocked but not the best quality so must look like it could be handmade) 9-10 (May build as big as you want and as much as you want no limit, and can buy any object, if you have eco lifestyle you may buy solar panels and water catcher, get some power going) Of course anything the woodworking table allows you to build as you level up you can build but the levels allow you to buy stuff from build and buy mode.
Gardening unlocks 1-3(May only have the plants you chose so 9 plants, may only keep 3 off each plant harvest so does a plant give you 5 or 10 then you have to sell until you only have 3) 4-6(May plant 3 extra crops, may keep everything) 7-8(May make a small farm no more than 6 garden plots from cottage living or you can use the garden beds) 9-10 (May have as many plants or farms as you want and can evolve plants now)
Knitting unlocks 1-3(May have any small piece of clothing hat’s, socks, gloves, underwear, bra’s) 4-6(Rug’s can now be bought too, any shirt any length, skirt’s and shorts) 7-8(All kids clothes and down, so toddler and infants, may buy sleeping bags) 9-10(shoes are now unlocked) Of course as before anything you can knit as you level up are you allowed to make.
Painting unlocks 1-3(beige, brown, white are unlocked) 4-6(Yellow, red and blue colors are unlocked and so are simple patterns) 7-8(Purple, orange and green are now unlocked) 9-10(All colors any pattern you like)

The DC Legacy Challenge
This is the DC Legacy Challenge! Each generation is (loosely) based around a character, either hero or villain, from DC comics. It includes 10 generations, plus 7 extras for the truly committed (or those who'd like to swap one out for something else). The ultimate goal of the challenge is to HAVE FUN!
Packs
This challenge was created with a conscious attempt to do something different every generation, and as such no consideration was given to packs. If you don't have a pack you need for a certain thing, feel free to substitute anything to suit what you've got, or even skip the whole gen if you want to.
For example, if you don't have Eco Living, then Poison Ivy would be fine with the Loves Outdoors trait, rather than Green Fiend. Don't have Bowling Night Stuff? As far as I know, Superman has never bowled once in his life. It was just for a little extra fun.
Expansion Packs
Cats & Dogs, City Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, For Rent, Get Together, Get To Work, High School Years, Island Living, Seasons, Snowy Escape.
Game Packs
Dine Out, Jungle Adventure, Spa Day, StrangerVille.
Stuff Packs
Bowling Night, Home Chef Hustle, Nifty Knitting.
Additionally, for the bonus generations past 10, you'll need Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, and Moschino Stuff for the Vixen gen, Realm of Magic, for the Zatanna gen, and Get Famous for the Supergirl gen.
I think that's all of them (might have missed one, or a few).
Starting Funds
Easy: $20,000 Medium: $1800 Hard: $0
Rules of Succession
There are none! Play your legacy however you want; eldest child, matriarchy, or just whichever name you like best. The rules of succession are entirely up to you.
Inheritance Rules
Unless stated otherwise, you can take as much of your household funds with you as you want, if you're moving your heir out of home with each gen. Or you can send them out into the world with nothing. I personally take about 10% of the household funds.
General Rules
As above, it's important to remember the rules of this legacy are not strict. Even the order of the generations can be mixed and matched to suit you. I just want you to have fun with it; but if you need them, here's a few:
Play on Normal lifespan.
You must reach the max level of each gens chosen career.
The skills section indicates which skills MUST be maxed.
Barring the Supergirl gen (if you get to it) you CANNOT change your sims aspiration until the noted one is complete, but after that, the choice is yours.
Occult sims should not be carried on to the next generation, but if it happens, it happens.
Loans are permissible during gameplay, either through mods or cheats, so long as they're paid back.
But again, PLAY AS YOU LIKE. Maybe you always want to have a pet, maybe you don't want to kill other sims in the Joker gen, maybe you want to grab that Money Tree in gen one and never worry about money again. The point is fun, so go have it!
Suggestions
Don't get caught up in the name of each gen unless you really want to go full tilt; those are just who each gen is inspired by. Superman doesn't have to be Clark Kent. They don't even have to be a man. Get creative.
That calendar is there for a reason, add a few holidays, including a family reunion.
Think about adding your own favourite hero's or villains! There's a whole multiverse of characters to base a gen on out there (I didn't even use Flash, guys).
GENERATION 1: SUPERMAN
Your home, your family, everything is gone, so you're starting new on a new world, holding fast to the tenants of truth and justice ingrained in you. You fall madly in love with a co-worker and want nothing more than to settle down with them, and your dog, spending your life hiding just how truly impressive you are, only allowing yourself to stand out when you set fire to the bowling balls every time you hit the lanes.
Aspiration: Love > Soulmate Traits: Cheerful, Outgoing, Cringe Career: Writing > Journalism Branch Skills: Writing, Bowling Rules ☆ Marry a co-worker, or have the sim you marry become a journalist. ☆ Have a dog. ☆ Complete the Crystals collection, and display them in a part of your home called your Fortress of Solitude.
GENERATION 2: POISON IVY
Your parents were sickeningly in love and you swore you'd never become so dependent on another person, but you can't help how possessive you get. They're yours, but your partner and family are a distraction; all you really want to do is spend time with your plants. You're obsessed with them, crafting your life to revolve completely around them; your home, your job, your hobbies. Finding a collection of magic beans will allow you to truly become one with what you love the most.
Aspiration: Nature > Freelance Botanist Traits: Jealous, Loyal, Green Fiend Career: Gardener > Botanist Branch Skills: Gardening, Flower Arranging Rules ☆ Become a Plant Sim. ☆ Have a full greenhouse you tend to religiously. ☆ Grow a Death Flower.
GENERATION 3: WONDER WOMAN
Your parent never had much time for you, so you make time for everyone. You give all of yourself to the world, making friends where you can, making a difference even when you're told you can't. Your choice is always kindness, and you lead with respect for all your fellow sims. All you keep for yourself is your love for exploring beautiful art from ancient history, which you feel oddly connected to.
Aspiration: Popularity > Friend of the World Traits: Good, Art Lover, Proper Career: Politician > Charity Organizer Branch Skills: Charisma, Archaeology Rules ☆ Find the Amazonite Harvest Knife, Amazonite Skull, & Bullseye Amazonite Gold Perereca. ☆ Earn a Pristine reputation. ☆ Adopt at least one child.
GENERATION 4: JOKER
At some point in your childhood, something went horribly wrong in your head and you never really grew up. You become obsessed with pranks and jokes and the older you get, the more cruel they become until you reach the stage where the only time you feel good is by making others feel bad. Ingrained with your parent's leadership skills, you form yourself a gang of like-minded sims and have the time of your life reigning hell on the world.
Aspiration: Deviance > Chief of Mischief Traits: Goofball, Erratic, Mean Career: Criminal > Boss Branch Skills: Mischief, Comedy Rules ☆ Kill at least 3 other sims. ☆ Create a gang (club), and a funhouse for them to hang in. ☆ Earn an Atrocious reputation.
GENERATION 5: ORACLE
Your out of control parent caused a horrible accident that changed your life, but you refuse to let it limit you. You cut them out of your life, but you lack nothing with a close group of friends, and a hobby that keeps your hands busy and clears your mind. You're brilliant and determined, and going to change the world from behind your keyboard.
Aspiration: Knowledge > Computer Whiz Traits: Genius, Overachiever, Geek Career: Tech Guru > Start-up Entrepreneur Branch Skills: Programming, Knitting Rules ☆ Always work from home. ☆ Live in a penthouse loft, your Clock Tower. ☆ Form a club (anything you want) The Birds of Prey! ☆ Win the Hackathon and Ultimate Gaming Test at GeekCon.
GENERATION 6: AQUAMAN
You grew up in the city and hated it, so as soon as you're old enough you move to the islands and don't look back. You thought all you wanted was to chill with a drink by the water at the end of a long day keeping the beaches clean, but you've the strangest urge for more; the ocean draws you in and begs you to become one with it and you can't resist its call.
Aspiration: Nature > The Curator Traits: Vegetarian, Loves Outdoors, Child of the Ocean Career: Conservationist > Marine Biologist Branch Skills: Fitness, Mixology Rules ☆ Become a mermaid. ☆ Live in Sulani. ☆ Never EVER go fishing, or cook a fish dish. Fish are friends! ☆ Complete the Seashells collection.
GENERATION 7: BATMAN
You didn't even have a tv growing up but you recognize that technology is the future, and your skill with it gives you a good income with which to raise the large, thriving family you crave. You want to be a good parent, but you can't ignore the dangers that lurk in the world, and it makes you over-protective and distant. Lucky you were able to engineer up some help around the manor, to step in with the kids when you step too far back.
Aspiration: Family > Successful Lineage Traits: Gloomy, Paranoid, Family-oriented Career: Engineer > Computer Engineer Branch Skills: Robotics, Wellness Rules ☆ Live in a manor home. ☆ Have multiple children, all named after birds. ☆ Create a Servo to be your Alfred.
GENERATION 8: GREEN LANTERN
Your parent was obsessed with keeping you and your siblings safe, but you realized very early on that there was a whole world - a whole universe - out there that also needed protecting. You've got a powerful adventurous streak that sees you pushing the extremes, both in work and for fun. You don't just want to climb the highest mountains, you want to go higher and further than anyone else before you and you've got the will to do it.
Aspiration: Athletic > Extreme Sports Enthusiast Traits: Self-Assured, Adventurous, Active Career: Astronaut > Space Ranger Branch Skills: Rocket Science, Rock Climbing Rules ☆ Try for baby in your personal rocket ship. ☆ Complete the Space Rocks collection. ☆ Your significant other gets fridged (they must die).
GENERATION 9: LEX LUTHOR
You spent a lot of your childhood alone, your parent off on adventures, and it made you grow resentful about the aliens that drew them away. Hatred drives you into your career, if only so you can learn the skills you need to destroy those you most despise. You become so bitter and cruel no one would imagine that in another life you could've been a musical genius. You've got your future planned out, right up until the targets of your experimentations do a little experimenting of their own and you're left with the end product.
Aspiration: Knowledge > Nerd Brain Traits: Hates Children, Evil, Ambitious Career: Scientist Skills: Logic, Violin Rules ☆ One child only, from alien abduction. ☆ Have a negative relationship with your child. ☆ Have a home laboratory. ☆ Finish either the alien collection, or the elements collection.
GENERATION 10: MARTIAN MANHUNTER
It was no secret that you were an unwanted child. You grew up lonely and despised, craving for a connection to a home you could only dream of. When you leave, you take with you only the portal that will allow you to finally see where you come from. Determined to be nothing like your parent, you're drawn to the phrase 'protect and serve' and try to find pleasure in the simple joys of life, like perfectly baked cookies.
Aspiration: Food > Appliance Wiz Traits: Glutton, Unflirty, Generous Career: Detective Skills: Handiness, Baking Rules ☆ Inherit NO money. ☆ Be an alien. ☆ Complete the Experimental Food Print collection. ☆ Travel to Sixam.
BONUS GENS
+1. BLACK LIGHTNING
You didn't grow up with much, so you worked hard to put yourself through school and get a good job so your kids would have more. Your family is your world, you're fiercely protective of them, and busy as your work keeps you, you still always make time to spend with them, whether that be sharing a meal, a night out, watching a movie together, or playing your guitar for them.
Aspiration: Knowledge > Academic Traits: Hot-Headed, Bookworm, Family-oriented Career: Education > Professor Branch Skills: Research & Debate, Guitar Rules ☆ Have only two children. ☆ Enjoy a family night, every single week. ☆ Contribute knowledge to the Research Archive Machine several times.
+2. VIXEN
You've had an affinity for animals since you first bonded with the family pet. You've an eye for fashion that pays the bills, and feel a deep connection to where you come from, but you really just want to spend all your time with your furry friends, training them and taking care of them.
Aspiration: Animal > Friend of the Animals Traits: Animal Enthusiast, Horse Lover, Child of the Village Career: Freelancer > Fashion Photographer Skills: Veterinarian, Photography Rules ☆ Surround yourself with animals. ☆ Tend to your animals vet needs yourself. ☆ Win the Ultimate Horse Championship.
+3. CATWOMAN
You grew up surrounded by animals, but only one creature ever earned your respect; the cat. You spoil yours rotten, giving them all the love and attention you can, even cooking homemade meals for them. Your partners can't hold a candle to your adoration for cats, so they come and go, and your affinity with the felines saw you taking on some of their traits, learning the ability to sneak in and out of places quickly and quietly.
Aspiration: Love > Serial Romantic Traits: Cat Lover, Kleptomaniac, Noncommital Career: Unemployed Skills: Mischief, Gourmet Cooking Rules ☆ Make money through selling stolen objects. ☆ Own at least two cats at all times and treat them like the gods they are. ☆ Complete the Feathers collection.
+4. ZATANNA
A strange feeling came over you in your youth and led you into the world of magic. You're determined to master this ability, and even use it and your own innate flair to make a living on a stage, entertaining the gullible masses who never fail to fall for your charm. You don't think you're better than others, you know you are, and magic only proves it.
Aspiration: Knowledge > Spellcraft & Sorcery Traits: Self-Assured, Romantic, Snob Career: Entertainer > Comedian Skills: Comedy, Charisma Rules ☆ Become a spellcaster and reach the rank of Virtuoso. ☆ Have a familiar. ☆ Live in Glimmerbrook.
+5. DEATHSTROKE
You've got a strong sense of honour, but your morals are somewhat … skewed, so it's no surprise that your country uses your abilities to do the jobs they'll never admit to commissioning. Your downtime is spent taking cash from other dodgy sims at the card table, and expertly crafting your own bullets, cleverly disguised as candles. Oh, and you've made yourself the oddest friend.
Aspiration: Athletic > Bodybuilder Traits: Mean, Maker, Perfectionist Career: Military > Covert Operator Skills: Fitness, Fabrication Rules ☆ Form a cards or sabacc club with a few other characters of ill-repute. ☆ Have at least one declared enemy. ☆ Become good friends with Grim, through whatever means necessary.
+6. BLACK CANARY
Growing up under someone beholden to an organisation, you're determined to make your own way and answer to no one. You're talented enough with music to get famous performing, but there's a lot of power in your voice, and you'd prefer a quieter life. You settle instead into a small flower shop, selling beautiful bouquets.
Aspiration: Creativity > Musical Genius Traits: Creative, High Maintenance, Music Lover Career: Business Owner Skills: Piano, Singing Rules ☆ Run a successful flower shop. ☆ Win a karaoke competition. ☆ Complete the City Posters collection. ☆ Only have one child.
+7. SUPERGIRL (Coming Full Circle)
You're the last in a long legacy. All of your family, and their history, live in you and you want the whole world to know your name, their name. So you get to work becoming famous enough that when you tell their story, everyone will listen. It's not an easy task; as much as you want to make friends and have people like you, you just don't quite understand other sims, almost as if you're an alien on a strange new world.
Aspiration: Creativity > Master Actor Traits: Clumsy, Socially Awkward, Outgoing Career: Actress Skills: Acting, Painting Rules ☆ Unlock and finish the Grilled Cheese aspiration. ☆ Start off with a negative relationship with your spouse. ☆ Write a screenplay about your family.
Got more hero's or villains in mind? Go for it, create your own, get that alphabet achievement if you can! Have fun, nerds.

Today, Isobel is taking some time to herself to knit something cute for Eira. But even in such a big manor, it's hard to get some quiet "me" time in the Blackwood household!!
Of course her daughter and granddaughter show up. Hazel wants -once again- Isobel to look after the baby while she learns some new spells.
Isobel already knows her knitting projet isn't going to be finished anytime soon. Of course it's -once again- her job to change the toddlers diaper and entertain her, since Hazel is too busy throwing spells.
