My friend sent me a more accurate fan translation for the NiGHTS into dreams storybook and man is Wizeman's motivation more interesting.

Like dang, Wizeman got so fed up with no one appreciating darkness he decides to plunge the world into it to force them to. Why the heck did the English localization change NiD Wizeman into a generic "take over the world" kind of guy?

List of dimensional variants/counterparts of Enid and Wednesday introduced in my fanfiction Kooky Spooky in order of appearance.

This means that other characters that are counterparts such as Taylor Galpin, the Yoko and Weems from Agent A's dimension and the rest of the Adamos (High Fantasy Addams Family) are not on this list. Only Enids and Weds.

First, those with some weight in the plot:

Eamon Sinclair (Chapter 1): Initially named in Chapter 1, with no formal appearance until Chapter 43. Eamon is a male counterpart of Enid and husband of Friday (the Wednesday from the 1973 cartoon). Basically, he is "our" Enid if she had been born male. Standard lycanthrope, though exceptionally strong.

Thursday (Chapter 9): Wednesday Thursday Addams. As Eamon, a male counterpart to Wednesday and Friday's cell neighbor. He looks identical to a teenage Gomez but with no mustache and with Fester's pallor.

Enid Saint-Clair (Chapter 19): The Enid of Woe's dimension (the Wednesday of the '90s movies). Brunette, of Greek descent and werecat rather than werewolf. Affable and nice, though with psychopathic tendencies and a love for exacerbated violence. Loves to fight people who can keep up with her. To call her "kitten" is to invite death. Better just call her “Nid”.

Agent A (Chapter 22): Wednesday Tuesday Addams. The Wednesday from a dimension gone to hell (literally). She's a grown woman in her forties, dresses like she's a MIB and is a practitioner of magic. She's also one of the few Wednesdays who doesn't make use of her pigtails or pull her hair back in any way, leaving her hair loose. If you want to put a face on her, I imagine her as Hailee Steinfeld about 16 years from now.

Wodnesdæg (Chapter 35): Lord Wodnesdæg of the House of Adamo, Prince of the Kingdom of Nova Gersia. Wod to his closest family and friends. Trans male version of Wednesday. He collects his hair in two short but thick pigtails. Likes to wear black armor that makes him look like the stereotypical Dark Lord from a fantasy novel, but first impressions aside his personality is closer to that of a Gomez Addams.

Eneit Synklar (Chapter 35): Enid's variant from Wodnesdæg's dimension and his betrothed. A barbarian and werewolf princess Enid, extremely tall and muscular, usually dressed in furs or light leather armor. Very outgoing, affable and friendly, though she lacks a bit of tact and has no qualms about breaking in half anyone who messes with her loved ones.

Now, the ones that are more cameos:

Chapter 43:

A golden tyrannosaurus Enid and her ape-like sidekick Wednesday, inspired by the original comic book versions of Devil Dinosaur and Moon Boy.

A middle-aged futuristic soldier Enid.

A Wednesday who looks like a living marble statue with golden cracks adorning her skin and luminous white hair.

A Wednesday and Enid who look like stereotypical pirates.

Gargoyle Enid. A purple-skinned Enid with horns, tail and wings, inspired by the characters from the Disney series Gargoyles.

Chapter 45:

Cyborg-lycanthrope Enid.

Vampire Wednesday, armed with a spear.

Reverse Enid and Wednesday: A violent lycanthropic but black-furred Enid accompanied by a disturbingly extroverted blonde Wednesday.

The younglings: A group of five or six young Wednesdays, the oldest no older than seven.

Saiyan Enid: A brunette-haired martial artist Enid with ki abilities, orange robes, staff and monkey tail. Inspired by Dragon Ball, although it can be interpreted as a reference to Journey to the West as well.

Gunslinger Enid and Wednesday, as if out of a classic Hollywood Western.

Sasquatch Enid.

The witches: Two Enids, one of them in school uniform and wand-wielding, clearly inspired by the Potterverse novels/films or other similar works. The second Enid, with green skin and black clothes, pointy hat and broom is more inspired by The Wizard of Oz and Wicked.

Punk-looking Enid with cybernetic implants like blades in her arms. Inspired by Cyberpunk 2077.

Angelic Enid, alternates between a humanoid form with wings and a fire-wheel form with multiple eyes.

Hellboy Wednesday (Hellgirl?).

“You are adorable. Crazy, but adorable.”

Nami nodded in absentminded agreement as she admired herself in the shining brass buttons on Penguin’s frock while draping her offerings around the blushing crewmate.

Law regarded her actions for a moment. The cold walls of the Polar Tang radiated cold, even through his jumper, but his feet were toasty in thick woollen socks, hidden away in his black boots and his hands were still heated from an earlier mistletoe-related incident involving Nami.

“Are you really going to torment my whole crew with this?” He couldn’t help but question her actions as she was done with Bepo and turned on his cook.

“Shush,” Nami said as she gave Shachi a bright smile and started her by now familiar pattern of movements. The crisp air made her cheeks tingle and fingers stiff as she pushed up on to her toes to reach around the taller redhead. “They like it, don’t you?”

“We sure do!” Penguin and Bepo agreed, both happily admiring their reflections in the dark porthole.

Ikkaku merely laughed and waved a evasive hand as she ducked under Nami’s outreached arms on her way past. “No way in hell are you getting me to wear that silver monstrosity. I’m happy with my own choices, thank you very much.” She emphasized her own choice in Christmas decoration by nid-nodding, making the tiny bells decorating her ears chime in merry unison.

Nami merely sighed good-naturedly and shrugged before turning to Law with twinkling eyes and a wide smile. Her eyes were crinkling at the corners and Law had seldom seen anything as seasonal or as cute as the red-haired navigator, clad for the winter island they had docked at with a crown of tinsel in her hair and apple-red cheeks.

“Don’t worry.”

The airy breathlessness of her voice, paired with a wicked glint in those beautiful eyes and a Cheshire-cat like widening of her grin made him try to back into the wall.

“There’s enough for you too.”

so... um... i took another genshin designs for my another au. nothing new, hshsh in this au Nights is famous lady from a rich family and Balan is a battler that was hired as her bodyguard. this story contains more details, so maybe i’ll draw more later.

Ah, yes. Raising a gremlin and a crybaby hasn´t always been cakes and cotton candy.

I also remembered spyroids´ post about little baby Nights breaking Jackle´s hand because they didn´t want to got to sleep.

He loves his siblings but sometimes they are just too much - especially Nights.

Getting them (Nights) to got to bed had truly been a nightmare. They simply had - and still have - too much energy.

Reala had been an angel even though he had been crying a lot and had been scared of pretty much everything.

Give this man a rest; hire a babysitter for him to sleep a little. Haha, as if. He´d be calling every five minutes to check on the children.

Jackle is a good big brother/father, crazy or not.

Nightmaren Origins Headcanon

Another headcanon because no one can stop me.

Wizeman created the Nightmaren this we know, and i’m pretty sure the general belief is he created them using ideya (of which i am also on board with but we’ll get to that in a mew mew)

So we got the three types of Nightmarens - Thirds, Seconds and Firsts - but i believe the Third Levels were always around even before Wizeman came about.

They existed alongside the Nightopians as their direct opposites (and also acting as some sort of weird natural predator in the dream world to keep the Nightopian populations in check because those things breed like rabbits like good lord i lose count of how many eggs i hatch every time i play the game LOL)

When Wizeman came along and took over Nightmare, he ended up gaining control of the third level Nightmarens as well and he started using them to gather the Ideya he so desperately craves.

This was not something they would have done before, they were mainly minor nightmare creatures that spooked little children more than anything else but they had no higher purpose other than eating Nightopians so being ordered to steal peoples ideya wasn’t so big a deal.

It did become a big of a deal when older lucids were encountered who put up far more of a fight, and not to mention Wizeman quickly realised the little Nightmarens were unable to obtain the most valuble ideya of them all (at least to him) that being the ideya of Courage.

So it’s at this point he starts to use the ideya gathered to ‘upgrade’ the third levels. It takes some experimentation, and use of his own essence but eventually he succeeds in creating his first batch of second level Nightmarens, which are bigger, stronger and capable of taking on more monsterous forms.

But despite this, though they were more efficient at gathering ideya than the thirds, even the second levels had a hard time obtaining the red ideya, and the very few who did somehow manage usually returned beaten and battered with the ideya cores flawed and weak.

But it was a start, and so Wizeman decided to use the precious few (albeit flawed) reds he managed to obtain to continue experimenting in his attempts to create even more powerful Nightmarens.

This time he used Second levels as bases for his new creations. However his first attempt failed terribly, and his second attempt managed to yield a Nightmaren but it was far too unstable so he quickly had it destroyed.

His third attempt was an almost success, with the result being Jackle himself. However given the nature of Jackle’s creation and certain ‘experimental methods’ Wizeman took to try and stabilize the flawed red ideyas (through using more pristine ideyas of other types), it ended up backfiring and while Jackle survived the process he came out unstable (both physically and mentally) and his ideya core (which is something only first levels would have) was warped and fragile due to it being an amalgimation of two ideya cores forced together.

Wizeman of course was not pleased, but he allowed Jackle’s existence to continue when the mad mantle lad managed to successfully retrieve a near pristine red ideya core as a desperate attempt to garner favour with Wizeman and avoid being ‘disposed of’.

However Jackle was only able to do it once, as he had gotten extremely lucky the first time though the process nearly shattered him (his mantle is what saved him most likely what with the whole invincibility thing and all) so Wizeman quickly lost interest and dubbed him a failure but one worth keeping still. (Yeah Jackle didn’t take that well at all)

Using the pristine red ideya, plus a pristine blue ideya he also had around, Wizeman was able to successfully create two First Level Nightmarens - NiGHTS and Reala, with NiGHTS being created from the Red Ideya core and Reala the Blue one.

Much much later after NiGHTS defection, Wizeman probably attempted to create more First Levels but despite using even the most pristine ideyas he could find, most future attempts were failures, and after his first defeat no more attempts would have been made (due to him needing as much ideya as possible in an attempt to regain his lost power which by that point he would never truly be able to fully reclaim)

It's finally done, a remixed version of the NiD Wizeman model from NiD HD to be more "art arcuate". This model was made by Tsoll/ @petals.n.chimes (Instagram), you are allowed to do whatever with the model but PLEASE credit them! (I'd also like to see whatever is done with this model too but that's not a requirement) You can download HERE

Features/changes

1. A major face lift to match an obscure piece of NiD artwork, plus hints of archie (mainly the back and sides of the helmet). I will admit the neck was a creative liberty with the model, he has a neck in JoD so it only made sense to include it here. 2. Improved hands! More accurate to the saturn marking wise, 3D eyes and actual finger bones! 3. Major bone overhaul, cloak and jewels are now fully rigged 4. Reshaping to the cloak to be a tad more like fabric 5. Recoloring one of the crystals to be more saturn accurate, as well as making the large one fully round instead of a half sphere 6. The vanilla model had a weird "greenish" tint which has been corrected. 7. All of his original tris from the PS2/Steam version are still in tact. Just... felt the need to say just in case anyone was curious.
