Nightmares....

The shining of the moonlight was glimmering on the little fountain on the side of Percy's window. Who was sleeping on his bed, well not so comfortable. He actually couldn't sleep. His nightmares from Tartarus were back.

Then he heard a fair knock on the door, he quickly got rid of his tears and got up, only to find it was his boyfriend. He fondly smiled towards the person who he loved more than anything.

"I-I thought we could share the bed." Percy's brows raised up, he gestured him to come inside, the little slowly made his way towards the bed. Nico felt nervous so he stood in front of the bed frame. He slightly gasped when Percy's hands found their way around his this waist. "Can't sleep?" he whispered in the smaller boy's ear. "Not really, so um you too?" he replied. "Yeah," he said kissing the other's forehead fondly. He left him there, Nico immediately feeling his absence.

Percy plumped on the bed, gesturing his hands for Nico to follow his suit. Nico slowly crawled behind but his eyes grew wide when Percy's hands slipped under his shirt, around his waist. "P-Percy" Nico whispered, Percy, slowly slipped his hands away from the smaller's waist, thinking he made him uncomfortable. Nico got the hint and turned around snuggled his face in his well-toned chest. "Tell me if I make you feel uncomfortable," Percy said slowly putting his hands around him protected. Nico looked up to those green eyes which stole his heart the very first time he saw them.

"You make me feel safe," he said smiling up. "I'll take that as a compliment considering, you can kill in ways someone can't even imagine," Percy said smirking. Nico just shook his head and hit the other's arm playfully. Then Percy's thoughts drifted to his nightmare, then to the reality where Nico was the one who went through Tartarus alone, "hey um, so why couldn't sleep." he quietly whispered. "Just old nightmares making it hell," the prince of the underworld said. Percy pulled away looking into the Italian boy's eyes. "What kind of nightmares?"

"Just the world would be gone me leaving behind."

"Why is that?" the other boy asked. "Just the ration fear of being left alone I guess," Nico said signing and burying his head in the green-eyed beauty's neck. "You won't be left alone," Percy said. "I know it's just a rational fear."

Percy put a finger under Nico's chin, and then the air between them was gone, he kissed him with all he thought of him, love, passion, and care.

"I'll be there Nico," he said while the other ran out of air.  "Always. Just tell me when you...need me" he whispered, he went through it all alone. That says a lot.

"I know love, I know," Nico said. Then he leaned in and kissed him, with all he had for him, love, passion, and care.

Then they snuggled closer and for a moment forgot everything, the quests, the nightmares. Just them.

------in the morning---------

"Hey, Nico I wanted to tell you.."

"Yeah?" Nico asked turning around coming out of the bathroom. Percy came closer to him and wrapped his hands around Nico, and whispered in his ears. "If you were even alone in Tartarus, I'll come for you," he said.

Nico just laughed, then kissed the older boy, after which Percy went to his training. That's when Nico actually thought about it.

There would be someone who'll crawl to hell to be with him.

To be with Nico.

Sea Green Scene

This is my own creation for the Percico Event. For the past two years I’ve been working on a Merman!Percy story on Wattpad and Ao3 called Sea Green. This is more of a deleted scene of that story, but you do not have to have read anything from the story to read this. This scene can stand on it’s own perfectly fine.

They sat on the edge of the dock, staring out over the vast blue sea. Being around dinner time, the beach was not nearly as crowded as it should be, and on this part near the private homes they were completely alone. Nico watched the distant waves for a while before looking over at Percy’s face. 

His tanned features were set, his green eyes focused and his dark eyebrows drawn together. Nico nudged him with the toe of his sneaker, “what are you thinking?”

“I want to go for a swim,” Percy said before looking over at Nico. Nico’s eyebrows shot up and Percy smiled at the expression. “You don’t want to swim with a merman?”

Nico looked back out into the water. The calm waves were perfect and they still had a few hours of sunlight left in the day. No person was surfing, only one boat was still out miles to the right. “Yeah,” he said, “let’s go.”

Nico stripped down to his swim trunks while Percy left all his clothes on the dock. “Ready?” Percy grabbed Nico’s hand and they jumped in together. The water was cold but contrasted well with the day’s heat. Nico felt their hands separate and quickly wiped the water from his eyes to find where Percy had gone.

He was a few feet away, splashing around right under the water. Before Nico could call out to him, Percy’s head broke the surface. His black hair was plastered to his forehead and his grin from ear to ear. “I missed this!” he called. Nico swam over to him and could see the shimming green under the water.

The current gently knocked against Nico’s chest as he steadied himself with the sea’s motion. He had just felt Percy’s tail flutter by his leg when he was surprised by Percy’s kiss. Nico’s senses were full of the salty taste and smell of sea, but in no way did it distracted him from the warm sensation throughout his body. Suddenly the water wasn’t as cold and the evening sun was brighter than before.

When Percy pulled away, they were both breathless. Percy’s green eyes were shinning, his smile relaxed. While schooling his own facial features to make sure he did not look love sick, Nico realized he was no longer swimming on his own. Percy’s arms around him were the only thing keeping him from slipping under the surface. He quickly gained his own movement back. “Ready to swim?” he asked, his voice so soft to his own ears he was afraid Percy didn't hear him.

“Yeah,” Percy replied. “I’m ready.”

And Alec, who only ever heard about them through his sister Izzy and kinda got dragged into her fangirling and started following their social media presence because he got dragged into it by Izzy and now Alec thinks they’re the cutest thing ever and the perfect couple and then one day he meets Magnus, who starts heavily flirting with him, and Alec is just completely blind to it. Not knowing Magnus and Jace have an arrangement of inviting a third person in if that person seems interesting. And then Alec also meets Jace and he just continues being totally blind to their wooing.

I like it. *whines softly*

Now, the reason for my whining is because thanks to the fake fanfiction title thing I did not long ago, my updating schedule is booked solid with oneshots and the next free slot for Shadowhunters is literally the 20th of June.

So. I’ll put it there. But four months is a shit-load of time and depending on when I’d even get around to writing it, I might lose motivation for it and it might get canned after all (that’s the reason I always only post my schedule a month ahead, because everything past the next month is kinda fluent still).

Meaning. We’ll see how it goes. But I like it.
