Jay was the second in command and the easiest dude to get along with. He's a close family friend and close friend to Emilia since she was young (He dated her sister but it didn't work out lol) So she's like a little sister to him. After the team disbanded he opened a record store that the go-to place for many people. He's happy to tell the stories from his past to the kids but does his best to stay out of hunting business to protect him and and his family.

Team pretty boy who use to have gorgeous long hair (sorry not picture ;.;) , now is a humble family convince store owner in of Center city who has a confusing but cozy sense of fashion. He can be a little eccentric at times but is pretty laid-back, sarcastic, and pragmatic when it warrants it.

Lottie is a real cutie with a Atlanta accent. team's weapon specialist and sharpshooter. will not hesitant to sprint after you in high heels. Currently she's a well traveled and fashion critic writing blogs and making videos. You might see her riding down the street on her green moped.

Eira Drake - Prime age: 25-38. Current age: 42. Poten type: Ice. Core color - blue (like an icy blue)

Hot, brooding one with a cool sports motorcycle. Eira tends to keep to herself and needed a chance to warm up to Emilia because she didn't quite trust her as leader yet. But Eira is Emilia worth rival as they have many similar skills. since the over saturation Eira's hair began to turn icy white as a strange side effect. Currently Eira works as a hired gun and is working a very weird job at the moment of watching over this rich guys son named Blake who likes to call her Elsa. Pays a lot of money. Eira also has a crazy romance going on with a chemistry teacher named Ellie who is much more than she seems.

Damien Lee - Prime age: 23-36. Current age: 40. Poten type: Materialize- Bow staff. Core color- Red

An asshole who has a huge crush on Emilia lol. wears those glasses because he thinks it makes him look cool. despite that he is very good at getting his hands on information. The stress from the over saturation gave him a white streak in his hair. not as cool as Eira tho lol. Since the team disbanded he's been difficult to contact. Apparently his been doing some black market unnatural trade, commiting heist etc etc with his own band of cronies. He gets caught sneaking into the Union Institute by Nick but makes a deal with him to get classified Info about the original tpp from UHA in exchange for not getting arrested.

February 9, 2021 | Blown Away (S2E6)

In episode 6 of season 2 of Netflix’s reality TV show Blown Away, “Scents and Sensibility,” the theme is perfume bottles, and the contestants have “to design one exquisite perfume bottle in two different sizes. Both need to have sculpted stoppers.”

The contestant Nao Yamamoto makes a piece inspired by the Egyptian perfume bottle. She says, “Egyptian perfume bottle literally makes me so happy whenever I see it. I used to love collecting them, and that was one of my first moments that I was drawn to glass. Back then, people used rose petals and lemongrass, and I’m thinking if I could put those elements inside of the bottle, it might be a little more interesting.”

One of the judges, Katherine Gray, says, “The ancient Egyptians, 5,000 years ago, made very small glass vials for what we assume were fragrances. They weren’t blown. This was before the advent of blown glass.”

The host, Nick Uhas, then says, “I wonder what that smelled liked. What did the pharaoh smell like?”

The other judge, Michel Germain, replies, “Frankincense, myrrh. Some of these ingredients go back to biblical times, right?”

The finished product by Nao Yamamoto is titled “Once Upon a Time in Egypt” and is seen above.

When I was in Egypt, we tourists had a short demonstration of glass blowing, and then we had an opportunity to browse and purchase glass perfume bottles (as seen below) and scents. The bottles were so fine and dainty that I feared that in my hands I would crush them. I loved the colours, and each bottle was unique.

Pain Doesn't Last Forever | Jeff Wittek

Requested by @contentandclickbait : :) inspired by david's vlog #593 where everyone is filming with nick the scientist and something goes wrong like the reader inhales too much helium and faints or gets burned by some explosion and jeff gets all protective and yells at david about how his bits go too far or something like that.

Jeff was always the protective type. He seemed chill and mysterious, but when things got real he fought for who he cared about. Y/n wasn't an exception, in fact she was the epitome of "things Jeff cared about." The one thing he cared about most. Seeing her get hurt was the scariest moment of his life.

Of course he knew how adventurous she was, and didn't mind when she volunteered to pour some solvent into another solvent that would cause a big explosion and an even bigger housekeeping bill.

Nick 'David's scientist friend' Uhas was over, trudging along a trunk full of test tubes and beakers and various bottles of multicolored chemicals that nobody could pronounce.

He tried to explain the science but Jason did his little "that is so boring" bit, rushing them along to the fun part. Once everything was set up, y/n volunteered, giving Jeff a dramatic goodbye kiss, joking about how she might die. He laughed, playing along.

"Do we need to be wearing goggles or something?" Y/n asked.

"If you run fast enough, no." A chorus of laughter bounced around the group as she put on a pair of goggles.

"I'm wearing the lab coat because it makes me feel like a scientist." David grabbed the coat from her, more so wanting it to protect himself and his camera from whatever was about to happen. Y/n laughed and picked up the small bottle, holding it over the beaker.

"Three, two, one, go!" David screamed. Y/n poured the chemical into the beaker, turning around quickly to run away. The chemicals reacted, causing a huge explosion of orange foam to fill up most of the entry way, covering the ceiling and raining down onto the floor.

Time moved slowly as y/n tripped over her shoelaces, landing right under the brunt of the explosion.

Foam rained down on her bare shoulders, a stinging heat electrifying her nerves as her skin was burned. She felt her skin welt up, blisters forming and immediately popping, feeling like ten bees were stinging her at once.

She was so focused on the pain that she couldn't even hear herself scream. Meanwhile, that was the only thing that Jeff could hear. A million thoughts ran through his head as he wondered what happened. Soon enough the foam and the smoke cleared and he could see her laying helplessly on the ground. As he approached her, he noticed the blisters already forming on the skin of her shoulder.

"What the fuck?" He screamed. "Are you okay?"

"Holy shit, get her a wet towel!" Nick yelled at Natalie, who rushed off to find something to ease her burns.

"It really fucking hurts." Y/n croaked as Jeff helped her get up.

"This wouldn't have happened if you let her wear the lab coat." Jeff's concern suddenly shifted into anger towards David. David's eyes widened as he saw the look in Jeff's eyes. Jeff was pissed and was coming right at him.

"I didn't think it would actually hurt her! Shit man, I'm really sorry. " David's back was pressed against the wall as Jeff ran up on him.

"You shouldn't be apologizing to me, you should be apologizing to her." Jeff pointed forcefully back at the entryway where y/n was being treated for chemical burn. David nodded nervously, not wanting to piss Jeff off even more. "Do you ever think about safety? She really got hurt and it's your fault!" Jeff continued to yell at David, not being able to control his anger anymore.

"Maybe you should stop yelling at me and actually go help her!" David snapped at Jeff, not thinking about the consequences.

"I'm gonna kill you." Jeff's face was blank, a seriousness in his voice that none of them had ever heard before. Y/n sniffled as she turned around, looking at Jeff.

"Jeff, please don't." She begged.

"You got hurt - "Jeff started, but she cut him off.

"It's not his fault, I tripped."

"You shoulda been wearing the lab coat." Jeff justified himself.

"Even if I was wearing a lab coat I still would have tripped. I also still would have gotten burned, just not as bad." She reasoned with Jeff as Natalie applied some burn cream to her shoulder. David seemed to have slinked off into a corner to avoid being yelled at. Jeff cursed at himself for having such a nice and forgiving girlfriend.

He wrapped some ice in a towel, gingerly placing it over the burn. She drew in a tight breath, feeling it sting, before eventually the cold felt good.

"It just hurts to see you get hurt." Jeff was hugging her now, refusing to let her go.

"Pain doesn't last forever." She smiled, comforted by his skin and the smell of his cologne.

"You're too good for me." He left a small kiss on her forehead.

"I know."

The Poten Project: Prime (TPP: Prime or just Prime) is the prequel to TPP. It follows Emilia (Lucas's mother) as a young adult and leader of special division squad in the Unnatural Hunter Association known as "The Poten Project"

The original poten project was collaborative effort between The Union Institute and the UHA, putting highly skilled potens at the forefront of action between the battle of humans and the highest and most dangerous tiers of Unnaturals.

Prime takes the course of several years as Emilia and her team take on missions and fight unnaturals up until Emilia suddenly goes missing 4 years prior to the beginning of tpp proper.

Through it seemed that the creator of tpp had alternative motives. During the Series Emilia and her team develop a condition known as "over saturation." They possess an extremely higher number of unnatural energy in their bodies compare to the average person. Making the team unique for their unbeatable strength and the way their eyes glow during battle.

but all the power comes with a consequence.

An unnatural attacked the Union Institute, the scientists and UHA were baffled to find out it was not just any monster, but actually Emilia engulfed in an unnatural-like form, completely unaware of the havoc she was wreaking on the laboratory.

Unnaturalfication... the phenomenon of a human growing an unnatural core caused by the over saturation, resulting in experiencing a variety of symptoms.

Stage 1: Eye color change, energy veins appearing around the body, boost in power. Stage 2: Pain, Exhaustion, faintness, lost in consciousness. And stage 3, ultimately taking on a monstrous form. The poten becomes unstable while they succumb to their unnatural instincts until they have the will power to overcome it.

Throughout the series, Emilia deals with the anxiety of not just her and team experiencing unnaturalfication, but her son as well, who has been showing symptoms and gained abilities from a very young age. Her husband, Nick, a research scientist at The Union Institute, works to find a solution as Emilia works to sleuth out who or what could be behind this.

Prime is meant to be a more mature series compared to tpp so I have an avenue to explore adult themes and some of the plot the informs tpp later on. but I also really enjoy these characters and thought a prequel series would be a great way to explore them further.

In episode 8 of season 2 of Netflix’s reality TV show Blown Away, the theme is runway walk (fashion pieces). One of the contestants—Cat Marie Burns—explains that she is “making a revival of an ancient Egyptian breastplate, since that was some of, like, the first glass that was ever made. So, it’s gonna be, like, this giant shawl neckpiece with a collar around the neck.” The above screenshot is the finished product.

The piece is primarily made of cane, which is a rod of glass with colour. The general process in making cane is to heat the glass in the furnace (glory hole) and then pull each end with a long metal rod (punty). The glass then stretches out quite uniformly. The long cane is then broken up into shorter sections. [source]

One of the judges, Katherine Gray, says this about the piece: “It does reference also, uh, Egyptian, like, chest plates and stuff and—So, she’s really referencing back to a very early use of glass.” And later: “If somebody’s wearing this, it just—They’ll look like they’re the sun.”

Nick Uhas, the host, who loves the piece, said that it reminds him “of, like, an Aztec or Mayan sort of, like, body piece.”
