SSSK - Education- The right of each and every student
Education- The right of each and every student
There is no doubt that education is a significant part of a person’s life. But still, there are a lot of students in rural and slum areas who are deprived of schooling just because they are poor. Nowadays, education has become more of a privilege than a right of student.
Education is important for students to develop skills and earn a living of themselves. It also provides an opportunity to reach their full potential. It is a right of each and every student. No one can deny the significance of education in preparing the children for future of the country.
Our government has also taken several steps to ensure necessary basic education given to children. The Constitution of India in its Constitution Act, 2002 had decided to give compulsory and free education to the children of age group of 6-14 years. It has become a fundamental right i.e. Right to Education.
Even after becoming a fundamental right many students are denied of their rights as they are forced to do child labor to earn a living. It has become really difficult to make education reach every door of our country. The government also started mid-day meal programme to encourage students to go to school and study. It also ensured that they don’t have to do any work for their lunch.
This significantly increased the number of students going to school. This basic education helps the children to face social responsibilities and gain survival skills.
Each and every child deserves to get education. It provides them with potential to earn a living and develop themselves in various aspects. It is a human right of every child. It provides children of every social and financial status to move forward in their life. It provides them with equal opportunity in many aspects. It also gives people struck in poverty, a chance to come out of it and make a better living.
Every child has their own potential to achieve great things in life and education helps them to explore it. It also provides necessary self discipline, social values and team work qualities needed to survive in the society.
No child must be denied their education as it is their right and they deserve it. Even if basic education is rightly served to every student, many aspects of the country can be changed and improved. This not only helps in development of the country but also facilitates the children with their rightful education.
