We always try hard to warn friends of certain content because we’re admittedly very “numb” to most stuff though grasp how things can be very hurtful for others, thus we use our ability to sit through most stuff to then warn others of things. We reflect on this a lot, we sometimes feel ashamed for feeling so numb but we’re happy to help folks. Especially given we enjoy lots of content which contains very heavy topics and we rarely gladly recommend stuff to people. We worry we’re a bit annoying in this sense though to lol! We worrying we get too worried about friends, whenever we watch shows nd movies we like w folks we always give very big warnings haha.
#always say this but our favorite tv show is NGE which is both bad in humor and in topics touched genuinely#so we’re like very cautious#twin peaks is similar#of course there’s also punpun which is a masterpiece to us but#we’d never be caught wholeheartedly recommending that book to anybody . you understand#we like examining heavy content though we tend to despise hopeless content . so we do say take comfort we rarely recommend hopeless things#most hopeless we can think of is fire punch and well we don’t even really recommend its second half when it really does turn hopeless#nd climax which we watched recently . we deeply loved that film and wanna look more into the director#feel perhaps he handles hopelessness in an actual way we’d enjoy#not just senseless cruelty

yet again an anime i put on for vaguely paying attention to while drawing turned out to be interesting and i got no drawing done bc i got distracted
#i was fooling myself the only things i can listen to while drawing without getting distracted are audiobooks recorded lectures#and music and occasionally tv shows but apparently only ones i have already watched a million times#tho ig this is the natural order of things bc i genuinely will not start any show if i’m not half-doing smth else i can’t sit down to#watch tv just to watch tv i have to at least think i’m going to be doing smth else or i can’t start a show#anyway the anime is black butler my sister put it on and we are on episode 8 or 9 or smth and it is good but i do not think i will#be captivated like i was with death note (or lowkey nge. i never post abt nge bc i am saving that for later but it had me in a chokehold#and it kills me that i’ve been too busy to actually like get into it fr which i think i will try to do at some point when i have the mental#capacity for it) but i think it’s still interesting 👍 i like the aesthetics of it 👍 and i think sebastian is really cunty 👍#kinda pisses me off tho like ugh of course i’d like the show with that kind of aesthetic 🙄 i should have told my sister to pick#something else the second i saw the intro bc of course i’d be distracted by that 🙄
