Friends - I’ve decided to start a blogging website devoted to my experiences hiking the vast, beautiful mountains, trails, parks and reservations within the great state of New York. This hobby stemmed from being a proud upstate resident who was definitely spoiled by living so close to the great Adirondack mountain range. Now that I’m a NYC city resident, I’ve been able to take in some of the great outdoor offerings in the Hudson Valley, Catskills and other downstate regions.
