Look, I’m Black. I can talk every day of every year about racism in fandom. I can talk all day about racism in this fandom. It’s in how people consume content created by creators of color while disparaging said creators and their cultures and their knowledge of their own cultures. It’s in how characters of color are treated like fetishes or dirt, no in-between, and pointing it out is grounds for harassment. It’s about how fans of color are chased out of fandom spaces for not falling in line with the most popular opinions. It’s how some fans of color would rather throw the rest of us under the bus for white approval than either admit that they don’t hold the popular view or just stay out of a discussion they do not understand.

Uwu tsundere!jc and tiger mom!yzy are some of the MOST popular fanons in mdzs, but somehow saying that this isn’t canon (and is actually offensive but—) is racism. This is racist, but not bullying fans of color who don’t like these characters, calling us racist for sticking to canon, calling Chinese fans from the country and in the diaspora fake for saying that this is fanon, and also arguing that Chinese culture just “naturally” celebrates child abuse is the “true racism” that these people are trying to protect fandom from?

When I can literally name three WOC and one MOC you’ve talked down to in the last fortnight, all for the heinous crime of not liking a badly-written fictional werewolf.

And I can name dozens of woc,moc,and lgbtq+ people you’ve talked down to. You can’t have one single argument (and I use that term very loosely with you) without throwing out childish barbs that’s meant to insult someone’s intelligence. You respond to every single post certain users have defending that “badly-written fictional werewolf” so obviously he means a hell of a lot to you if the mere idea that he has been treated unfairly needs you condemning the person who points that out. Here’s the thing,it’s not a contest. I’ve never continuously insulted someone else’s intelligence because I disagreed with them or called them childish names. You are projecting and badly “biscuit” and what you won’t do is paint your own shortcomings onto me.

When I literally have many “mocking” tags for all of the delusional squad, based on my opinions of their posts, and not on their race, or gender, or sexuality. Goodness, it’s almost like I hold all of you in equal contempt!

You were openly homophobic because of the opinions they posted. You reduced their support to sexual acts and then tried to excuse yourself by saying “I never said doing that act was a bad thing” and “they aren’t the only kind of people who do it”

Newsflash: If someone calls me a homophobic,or racist, slur it’s not okay because people of my sexuality or race aren’t the only who does whatever slur it is they said. It’s still racism and homophobia just like yours is still homophobia and you were still disgusting for doing it and trying to excuse your actions.

When you are literally looking so hard to paint yourself as a victim in fandom wank that you think that “hump day” is somehow mocking you, even though the first five letters of your username spell the word “camel”.
