Even fun weekends need recovery time. Even relaxing getaways cause us to need a pause and refocus upon reentering our day-to-day. Knitting time, alone time and mixing up this particular drink are what I’m doing today… along with laundry, restructuring the trailer and catching up on dishes lol 😁. No one ever said life would stop happening or that it even should AND no one said you couldn’t be the best version of yourself while handling it all right?! Down time is a must! I choose to not over-work myself anymore. (Been there done that! Recovering perfectionistic workaholic here).
