Been working on Olwin all day, here's the current progress on her:

My custom Die-cast scale Harrison is about 95% complete, but I've also started work on Olwin

So, last week was my 21st birthday, but I was practically today years old when I was made full aware of one of Dinosaur Train's frankly crucial scientific innaccuracies: in the show, it is claimed (mainly by Buddy) that Tyrannosaurus was not capable of swimming, due to their short arms, but as it turns out, it's the complete opposite.

With this in mind, Buddy being the anxiety-riddled boy he is canonically shows signs of hydrophobia, most notably in the S3 opener, "Adventure Camp: Rafting." Here he is with Annie Tyrannosaurs, who is trying to help Buddy get more used to being out on the water, but sometimes easing Buddy's nerves is easier said than done...

If posts have slowed down a bit, bare with me, I've been trying to get it together with my practically now dozens of planned or in-the-works Chuggington projects, hoping to get back in it with more fanart, OCs, and headcanons soon. As well as finally get "Wilson's 'Long' Day" and "Hothead Harrison" written.

But this particular Dinosaur Train piece was something one of my latest moots, @ahopelessblogaboutdinosaurtrain was anticipating, and I enjoy feeding said moot, so here it is. :)

Progress on my DIY die-cast scale model of Harrison:

Ohh yeah baby he's starting to look like himself! Looking forward to adding the rest of his details before I have to figure out how to give him a working chassis and couplers.

I've been craft modeling since December 2019, making large scale static models of Thomas and Chuggington characters, (All will be revealed in due time) and I couldn't be happier that I've now come to the point I can make up for Chuggington characters I missed out on as a kid!

After Harrison, I think either Chatsworth or Calley will be next, followed by Olwin, Irving, Emery, and some rolling stock, cuz I currently have only two open wagons in my Chuggington collection. Abysmal.

I'm definitely gonna have to hold off on most of the S4-5 characters and rolling stock for now, due to their more complex shaping in details, (and I would just prefer to get the actual Stacktrack models of them... someday, when I can actually make my own purchases online) I do wanna try and make my main OC Astra though, as I still plan at some point to recreate The Three Trainees and as well as them in their advanced training gear (And a Chug Patrol Calley since I'm already gonna make her)

Surprise! Quick new fanart of Dinosaur Train cuz like the Chuggington trainees, Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don are precious, underrated smol beans. Here's Tiny and Shiny in a scenario I couldn't resist.

Buddy is in Troodon Town helping Gilbert with a project while the pteranodons are doing their own things at home. Tiny, in a partictularly adventurous mode, went off to practice skydiving, but flunked her trick and landed in mud as a result. She wasn't planning on cleaning herself up properly until after she was done practicing - but failed to account for Shiny being nearby...
