The so-called “Newfie joke” gained traction at some point in the mid-1960s.

They were the Canadian equivalent of "dumb pollack" jokes.

They spread verbally throughout the 1960s and became a staple of mainland after-dinner speakers.

They sparked a national debate about appropriateness circa 1968.

A Newfoundlaner named Bob Tulk compiled them for a series of joke books starting in 1972 and they soon became nationally famous.

To this day, everyone in Canada knows what a "Newfie joke" refers to and they're mostly told by moronic small town idiots.

– Ngao du đến Bắc Đại Tây Dương để xem xác tàu Titanic đang là niềm vui mới thu hút người lắm tiền nhiều của.

Một công ti du lịch ở London, Anh đang chào bán vé tour ngao du cao cấp: Thám hiểm con tàu đắm Titanic. Chuyến thám hiểm sẽ bắt đầu tham gia tháng 5 năm 2018.

“Lượng người tận mắt trông thấy con tàu đắm Titanic còn quá ít oi so với số người đã chinh phục đỉnh Everest”, thây mặt công ti ngao du cắt nghĩa lý do vì sao họ doanh nghiệp tour ngao du đắt đỏ này.

Để tận mắt ngắm con tàu Titanic huyền thoại đang nằm dưới lòng Bắc Đại Tây Dương, du khách sẽ phải tìm vé 2,3 tỷ đồng/người.

Giá vé hạng nhất để lên tàu Titanic năm 1912 là 4,350 đô la Mỹ (gần 100 triệu đồng), bây giờ du khách cũng sẽ trả cùng một giá thành như thế. Sau khi tính toán mức lạm phát thì số tiền du khách phải trả cho chuyến đi đến Bắc Đại Tây Dương để ngắm xác tàu Titanic sẽ là 105,000 đô la (hơn 2,3 tỷ đồng).

Giá vé này đã bao gồm dụng cụ chuyển di: đi trực thăng trong khoảng Newfoundlan, Canada tới một chiếc du thuyền hạng sang. Sau đó khách lại xuống tàu lặn để chuyển động tới xác tàu Titanic trong lòng biển hồ.

Đến nay đã có 9 hành khách tìm vé cho chuyến ngao du đắt đỏ này.

Vụ đắm tàu Titanic ngày 14 bốn tuần 4 năm 1912 được coi là một trong những thảm hoạ hàng hải nguy hiểm nhất mọi kỷ nghuyên. 

Tàu khởi đầu được đóng tham gia năm 1909 và được hạ thủy năm 1912, là con tàu lớn, tiến bộ, lộng lẫy và sang trọng nhất lúc đó.

Con tàu chở 2,435 hành khách từ Southampton, nước Anh vượt Đại Tây Dương tới New York, Mỹ. 

Sau khi đi được gần nhì phần ba quãng con đường thì Titanic bị đắm vì đâm phải một tảng băng trôi, khiến hơn 1,500 người tử nạn.
