46. favorite holiday film ooh i. love christmas movies. so there's a lot. i've always said a year without a santa claus is my favorite, so i am gonna stick by her. but do know that a muppet christmas carol is SUCH a close second and also the first christmas movie i watch every year :) also also santa claus is coming to town and THE HOLIDAY b/c we simply should have had young jack black in more romcoms. perfect film. oh and also the phineas and ferb christmas movie.

Currently Watching: Slowly making my way through Hannibal and Castlevania! I’m so rubbish at getting through tv shows, but I’ve been enjoying those lately.

Currently Reading: ‘The Plague’ by Albert Camus and the Sherlock Holmes novels! I’m only on ‘A Study in Scarlet’, but I am already in love!! ‘The Plague’ is so interesting and so eerie to read after the pandemic. I would recommend!! Manga-wise, I’ve started The Case Study of Vanitas/Vanitas no Carte, however that is going slowly, as I am reading it in French, as I could only get my hands on a French volume lmao. Am I truly a yuumori and bsd fan if I don’t read vnc?

Current Obsession: Yuumori is definitely up there, as it does occupy 95% of my thoughts at the present moment 😭😭😭 Sherlock Holmes in general too! I love all of the adaptations I’ve consumed thus far!! As a subsection of this obsession, I must say that I absolutely adore @/voanneid and @/renn_cos on Tiktok, their yuumori cosplays are my favourite!! They both embody the characters so well!! Their Albert and Mycroft cosplays are SO COOL!!!!!! Okay enough fangirling ahaajshsj-

1. Nearly every item of clothing or accessory that I have bought in the past 2 years has been green. My friends and family are no longer surprised to see my shopping hauls.

2. I have a soft spot for historical fiction when I need to escape from everyday life. From old classics like Jane Austen to modern fiction based in other time periods like Taylor Jenkins Reid. Unsurprisingly, regency era England and the 60s/70s are my favourite eras to read about. However, I have had strong Tudor, WW2, and Roman Empire phases previously.

3. The first ever fanfic I read, which I discovered accidentally, was for the Hunger Games on Quotev. My brain was forever rewired.

Holy shit i am reading devil town (im like halfway through chapter 10 i think) and this is quickly becoming one of my favourite fics i have ever read oh my god like. The small town horror/american gothic/ idk the literary terms its not a genre im familiar with very sorry BUT OH MY GOD it’s so fucking good with the pacing how everything links together everything it’s so perfect your writing is just,,,, holy shit man

omg that’s so sweet of you to say, i’m so glad you’re enjoying the story! chapter 11 is honestly my favorite chapter in the story - hope you enjoy how that one wraps up (and the whole rest of the fic of course)!!
