and we Americans LOVE LOVE LOVE them soooo much!
I am feeling SO FUCKING MUCH about seeing the dark sands and trees of Aotearoa in this trailer
seeing kiwis playing kiwis on screen, hearing our own voices in an international production shot in our own country
cause this never happens
one of the things that's beaten into you when you're at acting school in NZ is being able to find British and American accents cause we NEVER play ourselves on screen
and having two+ Kiwi characters, relishing in the idiosyncracies of our accents, performing in our own identities feels so fucking much and I love it

They edited this to remove the anti union brag.
glad they read the room,
now I see why Taika insisted on moving the production to NZ
800 lb gorilla and all.
as long as he keeps up the good work and doesn’t ruin the production I’m happy.
I’ll never recover from the mess they made of Good Omens, my once utterly beloved show.
And I can’t bear it if they ruin OMFD!

Currently watching this, and liking it. Reminds me of Wes Anderson’s movies.
