NEW EARBUDS REHEHEHEHEHEHE👹✨

My old pair (the Onn brand sold at like walmart)— which Ive had for 1-2 years now— I kinda hated :,) but they actually started *dying* dying- one barely ever charged, and when it did- it lasted like 10 minutes—— the other one would charge and hold a charge, but usually would off and on decide it didnt want to connect to my phone and id have to “forget device” and repair it :,)

The new pair, which are a set of Skull Candy ones, I really like :] ironically this is the first pair Ive bought of them, but I did own a pair of them previously 😂

Story behind that: I was practicing driving with my mom for my driver’s test in the parking lot of my high school. It had been rainy, but it was a Saturday or Sunday and there had been a football game the night before. I forgot why I picked them up (I did have a reason to) but there was a grey pair of Skull Candy earbuds on the pavement and I picked them up. I dont know how they still worked, considering the inside of the case was *full* of water and, for some reason,- *g l i t t e r* —— took em home and cleaned them out/charged them, asked anyone if they lost em, no one did— so I kept them. (I still found red glitter every so often in them- but I got most of it out when I cleaned them). They worked beautifully, surprisingly, and were my new main set of earbuds. (I had been using my Onn ones at the point I found them, so the Onn ones became a backup pair while the Skull Candy were my main ones.)

What broke those ones? Accidentally forgetting they were in a pocket of my pants and washing said pants. Yes, they listerally were full of water and had glitter in them when I found them, but accidentally washing them is what killed them😂💀

So I went back to using my Onn ones— and now those are finally dying, and I finally got a new pair of Skull Candy ones :] just gotta charge em and then I can listen away to my hearts content✨👹

1/7/25 - Feeling productive today despite a bit of a migraine! I’ve started my internship and just finished my first presentation, re-started knitting a sweater (had to frog a bunch of it and start over lol), finished the first two chapters of boot.devs python coding course, and picked up some books I bought forever ago (for a class that got canceled rip)! Also yesterday I got back into my workout/PT routine and gave myself a gel manicure for the first time. Hope I can keep this up! I think I’m going to try to do lesson one of Bill Vicars’ ASL course today unless more work comes in or my migraine gets worse (hopefully eletriptan will save me though). Feels good to get back into the swing of things after a rough month or two! I need to figure out a better way to format these posts so I’m not just rambling, but this is it for now!
