been really into hadestown lately and... omg Wait For Me (Reprise) is just soso GOOD

"I let them try" A:LWDHILQHWDKQJBWND INSANEEEEE, cause he could've actually just let them go it's so OBVIOUS how much orpheus and eurydice impacted him and like he WANTS to change (from "we'll try again next fall") but he needs time to actually adjust and change and he's been awful and terrible for so long it's like he doesn't know how to actually be kind cause he still desperately needs that control and hggghhhh

but he wants to change cause persephone needs him to change and ughghghghghhhhhh
