Looking for Far Cry 5 Roleplay! ✨

Hello! As the title states, I am looking for people to roleplay Far Cry 5. I am rather new to the tumblr scene, but I’m more than willing to learn how to use it! As for roleplaying itself, I have quite a few years under my belt and I tend to use discord.

Some Information About Me:

I am a 21F, which means I’d prefer if my partner was 19 at the minimum.

I have been roleplaying for about a few years now, so I am quite experienced with different types. I prefer to roleplay in third person and as for my length of responses, I try to match whatever my partner gives me. That being said, I do prefer that my partner also writes in third person and uses basic grammar and punctuation. Anything I ask of you, I will be doing the same to make it fair! If you need an example of my roleplay, I’d be more than willing to provide one. :))

I tend to be somewhat chatty outside of the roleplay because I do enjoy making friends, but if you do not wish to talk outside of the story, then please let me know! I don’t want to make my partner uncomfortable.

I am a rather busy person and my schedule may vary day to day, so please be patient with me. My timezone is CST and I ask that you do not spam me with messages if I do not respond within a day. I, myself, will only ask once it has hit the one month mark. If I do not get a response within two weeks of that mark, then I’ll consider the roleplay null and void.

I do tend to roleplay as females because that’s just what I’m comfortable with and my favorite pairing is FxM. However, I am open to playing male characters on the side or if we are doubling up. I am also willing to try other pairings as well depending on the plot, but I just wanted to preface what my favorite was.

So I just finished Far Cry 5 and will be moving onto New Dawn soon, I absolutely LOVED the game and its story. I also just recently watched a playthrough of Joseph’s Collapse, so that made me even more eager to make this post! I am primarily looking for either a John or Joseph roleplayer and if we double up, I can play Jacob/John/Pratt/Sharky/Eli for you in return!

Alright, I've been discharged with three stitches and much less patience than when I was admitted. I told Elm she could stay as long as we laid down some ground rules, which she surprisingly agreed to. She even had a physical list of boundaries and requests ready which was very nice actually. Felt took some convincing, but in the end we agreed that learning to live with a new roommate is a lot easier than finding a new apartment would be if she blew ours to kingdom come in a fight. We're going to talk over the rest of the arrangements over dinner. The two even managed to agree on what to get, so I'm picking up pizza on the way home

Eden was heavily neglected as a child, leading her to be overly independent. She was taught by her uncle Jacob how to fend for herself. By 15, she was rebelling against her father and eventually was sent away. Joseph wanted to kill her, like he was told to do when she was a baby, but John, who had recently developed an attachment to his niece, managed to convince Joseph to let him send her off to a friend of his.

Eden lands on Rook in the care of Buck, managing to escape and live on her own until being reluctantly taken in by the pirates. She keeps her hair short so it can't be grabbed after an unfortunate incident. She finds herself following Vaas around like a lost dog, doing everything she can to impress him.

After Jason Brody attempts to kill Vaas, Eden gathers those she could consider friends and leaves the island with them. When Vaas recovers, he restarts Hoyt Volker's business, which Eden eagerly follows. She takes over connections with Kyrat until her attention is brought back to her family in Hope County.

While back home, Eden works alone in her attempts to kill her father, not going against the resistance but not helping them either. She only kills Faith before the bombs drop, she sits with Jacob as he dies from lung cancer/wounds (all deaths and canon relationships are changeable for plot/interactions).

Eden finds her way to a bunker, stuck with some cultists that all slowly die over the years. She's alone for five years before emerging from the bunker. In New Dawn, Eden becomes a vagabond and mapmaker, acting as a messenger between factions.

Emil and Ratatosk and complicated relationship;

Here is kind of a headcanon/thought I had of an alternate ending for these two after talking with @lady-quen

As Emil was originally formed by and from Ratatosk as a way to hide from Richter while they regained strength, and to remain hidden administered self amnesia and false memories of a life not lived.

With the unfortunate consequence of this new personality growing and becoming their own separate being no longer feeling a part of Ratatosk, yet still a part of them none the less.

Because of such trying to separate into their own beings would likely be dangerous even with the powers of a such a god / god like being as Ratatosk himself nor is he ready to just give up this body and form they created.

However Emil has more then proven their capabilities and impressed Ratatosk who is willing to admit that they have earned their respect and a right to keep their life, for now. They've created their own real memories, friends and relationships and while they may not be the nicest fellow they can acknowledge they've earned the right to keep what they've gained on their own.

They are of the same body and soul at their core (cores) after all, Emil would not exist if were not for him so it's only right that in time they will become one again but, perhaps not soon but eventually. It's how its meant to be.

Besides being of Ratatosk means that even with a body of his own there's know guarantee he'd age or change like everyone else, while everyone else grows old and dies they may still remain unchanged barely touched by the sands of time maybe not immortal but living in a different frame of time from everyone else.

So he remains silent and patient, an old deity who doesn't mind waiting until the time is right knowing full well it would cause more harm to the both of them to forcibly assimilate and become one again but that their souls still cry out and need each other, one can not survive without the other.

For the most part Emil keeps control, while Ratatosk sits back allowing Emil to tap into their shared power at anytime its needed though he can be fickle and every so often should the need arise Ratatosk will be the one to come forth and take over- Everyone knowing when the change happens do to the Red eyes, his voice deepening and becoming louder brimming with a confidence not held before.

Ratatosk is far less merciful so you best hope not to come facing them in a fight as they hold no qualms against killing.

Now Emil of course is the only one to see or hear Ratatosk although some like Marta who's made a contract with them might be able to sense his presence in some way.

As Lord of Monsters it also allows Emil a strong connection and control over beasts barely needing to create a pact to get them to listen.

Both Ratatosk and Emil rather dislike being misnamed / called by the other's name and will correct you.

Ratatosk would never be that cowardly he argues and Emil will quickly deny that he's nothing like that monster.

In some way Emil has become accustomed to Ratatosks power and while still not fully to terms with the fact that they are in a sense Ratatosk/part of them perhaps finds the idea of not having them around strange. They are two halve of the same whole.

Emil's kind and gentler demeanor helps to tame and reel in Ratatosk brutality and violent nature, however the confidence and aggression of Ratatosk does help bring out a boldness in Emil not had before and helps push him to fight when he otherwise wouldn't.
