Critics of Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., were outraged after reading Elon Musk and journalist Matt Taibbi’s latest "Twitter Files" entry alleging that Schiff lobbied Twitter to suspend journalists from the platform.
Published Tuesday, the latest round of the Twitter Files – internal documents revealing how Twitter engaged in censorship and promoted disinformation in tandem with government agencies for the past few years – revealed that Schiff’s office asked Twitter to remove journalist Paul Sperry and others from the site.
Taibbi, who published the Twitter Files post-by-post to Twitter at the behest of Musk, provided documentation showing that "the office for Democrat and House Intel Committee chief Adam Schiff" asked "Twitter to ban journalist Paul Sperry."
TWITTER FILES: REP. ADAM SCHIFF'S OFFICE REQUESTED TECH GIANT TO SUSPEND ACCOUNTS
The document Taibbi shared featured correspondence between the "House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee" – Schiff’s office – and Twitter, which included a request to "Suspend the many accounts, including @GregRubini and @paulsperry, which repeatedly promoted false QAnon conspiracies and harassed [REDACTED]."
As Taibbi’s documentation indicated however, Twitter was reluctant to fulfill such a request, responding, "we’ll review the accounts again but I believe [REDACTED] mentioned only one qualified for suspension."
In response to Schiff’s office demanding Twitter remove "any and all content" as well as "quotes, retweets, and reactions to that content" concerning its staff members, Twitter flat-out refused.
A Twitter staffer responded, "no, this isn’t feasible/we don’t do this."
Sperry, an author and New York Post columnist, was later suspended from Twitter for unrelated reasons, telling conservative commentator Glenn Beck in August 2022 it was due to tweets of his about the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
However, Sperry was reinstated to Twitter this week and immediately responded to the latest Twitter Files revelations. He claimed that the real reason Schiff sought his suspension was because, at the time, Sperry was reporting on the whistleblower who exposed the phone call to Ukraine that prompted Trump’s first impeachment.
On Tuesday evening, Sperry wrote, "Around the same time Adam Schiff's office was lobbying Twitter to have me banned, Schiff's chief of staff Patrick Boland was making threats to my employer http://RealClearInvestigations.com about my stories exposing Schiff's impeachment whistleblower & his ties to Schiff's staffer."
In another tweet, Sperry linked to his 2019 article, and captioned it, saying, "Here's the real reason House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff secretly lobbied Twitter to have me banned -- he was angry I outed his anonymous impeachment ‘whistleblower.’"
TWITTER FILES PART 11 SHOWS HOW ‘PR CRISIS’ FOLLOWING 2016 ELECTION ALLOWED COMPANY TO EMBRACE INTEL COMMUNITY
Conservatives were appalled at Schiff’s apparent attempts to silence Sperry on Twitter, and used the platform to rip into the lawmaker.
UFC champion Jake Shields felt as though Schiff should get a taste of his own medicine, tweeting, "I would like to request Elon Musk remove Adam Schiff from twitter."
Breitbart News Pentagon correspondent Kristina Wong summed up the shocking censorship story, tweeting, "Then-Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s office wanted Twitter to shut down one of the most effective journalists pushing back on his phony Russia collusion narrative. How very anti-freedom of the press this is."
The Spectator contributing editor Stephen L. Miller commented sarcastically, "Adam Schiff just using his 1A rights."
Journalist Adam Housley wrote, "This is disturbing. I don’t care what political party you follow…this cannot be accepted. @AdamSchiff needs to answer."
RealClearInvestigations senior writer Mark Hemingway tweeted, "Of course, Sperry's real crime was doing vital reporting exposing the mistruths about Russia collusion, a subject Schiff lied about for years."
Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton asked if this constituted "Another reason to expel Schiff from Congress?"
Conservative actor Randy Quaid quipped, "Schiff is a piece of Schiff!"
Conservative pundit and lawyer Will Chamberlain offered a solution, tweeting, "Adam Schiff should be expelled from Congress."
Author Jim Hanson remarked, "The only surprising thing here Is they didn't just wipe everyone out. The sickening thing is @RepAdamSchiff abused his office and oath to the Constitution with this malfeasance."

Transfer of workforce and increasing responsibility of an UAE immigration lawyer
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the sudden radical political shift in the US has suddenly despised a large number of global firms to transfer their company executives deployed to various nations to the U.S. for their designated roles. This can also be attributed to the fact that the US has come out as the clear winner in the race of nations for being the world’s trade capital.
The US-based employers can guarantee their employees safe and lawful visits by abiding by the visa categorizations on the basis of the professional context of the transferee, the duration of the employee’s proposed stay, the nationality of the foreigner, and a number of various other norms. These nuances about foreigner’s visits and stays are all mentioned in the Immigration and Nationality Act.
The foreign business travellers arriving in the US rely on B-1 visas which compliments them legally a short stay which can be anything less than 12 months. There is no scope for U.S. employers to recompense these visitors. A person who visits the US as a business visitor can take part in the following activities while his stay:
• Discuss planned investment or purchases
• Attend meetings and participate in them fully
• Conduct negotiations
• Solicit sales or investment
• Make investments or purchases
• Interview and hire staff
• Conduct research.
Also, you must be aware of the fact that people entering in the U.S. for tourism or commercial purpose for 90 days or less from eligible countries (such as Western Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand) may be entitled to visit the U.S. without a visa if their prerequisites match with the visa waiver program requirements. The nuances involved in the immigration approval process has upheld an all-new stream of Immigration Solicitors in London who are proficient in their work. The leading immigration solicitors in London bifurcate company-sponsored employment approval for foreign nationals into two categories:
(1) Immigrant status or permanent residency: a company may patron a foreign national for permanent residence.
(2) Non-immigrant status: a particular employer may seek permission to hire a foreign person for a particular period of time as a provisional employee.
AnUAE immigration lawyer has found some visa categories that allow the transitioning from Non-immigrant (Temporary) Residency Status to Immigrant (Permanent) Residency Status, but these privileges are not covered in all categories. These cases are handled under the influence of dual-purpose where some non-immigrants are allowed to enter and/or stay in the U.S. provisionally with a non-immigrant visa (such as H-1 or L) even though they have exhibited a long-term commitment to stay lastingly. B-1, B-2 and F-1 categories do not permit themselves to the application of the dual intent principle.
Each visa category has extremely specific regulations which are looked after carefully by an UAE immigration lawyer, most of which easily harmonize between the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a portion of the Department of Homeland Security, and other U.S. government departments, such as the Labor Department for smooth and easy redressal of clients because the timelines are very important in this kind of cases and involve large documentation.
The major visa categories for the temporary non-immigrant employment of foreign nationals include L-1A (Multinational Managers/Executives), L-1B (Specialized Knowledge), H-1B (Professional Workers), and TN Application (Canada and Mexico).

Business Immigration: What Visa to Choose
Navigating the U.S. immigration system can be challenging, especially for entrepreneurs, investors, and business professionals seeking to establish or expand their operations in the United States. With a variety of visa options available, understanding which visa best suits your needs is essential for a successful immigration strategy. This blog post will guide you through some of the most common U.S. business immigration visas, helping you determine which option may be the best fit for your business goals.
1. E-2 Investor Visa
The E-2 visa is designed for individuals from countries that have a treaty of commerce and navigation with the United States. This visa allows investors to enter the U.S. to direct and develop the operations of an enterprise in which they have invested a substantial amount of capital.
Eligibility: You must be a citizen of a treaty country and have invested or be in the process of investing a substantial amount of capital in a U.S. business. The investment must be sufficient to ensure the successful operation of the enterprise.
Duration: The E-2 visa is typically issued for up to two years, but it can be renewed indefinitely as long as the business continues to operate and meet visa requirements.
Benefits: The E-2 visa allows you to work legally in the U.S. for your business and bring your spouse and children under 21, who can also live in the U.S. Your spouse may apply for work authorization.
2. L-1 Intracompany Transferee Visa
The L-1 visa is ideal for multinational companies looking to transfer key employees to their U.S. operations. It is available for executives, managers (L-1A), and employees with specialized knowledge (L-1B).
Eligibility: You must have been employed by a foreign company for at least one year within the past three years and be transferring to a U.S. branch, subsidiary, or affiliate of the same company.
Duration: L-1A visas for executives and managers are granted for up to seven years, while L-1B visas for specialized knowledge employees are valid for up to five years.
Benefits: The L-1 visa allows for the transfer of key personnel to the U.S. and may provide a pathway to permanent residency (green card) through the EB-1C category for multinational executives and managers.
3. EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa
The EB-5 visa is an immigrant visa that leads to a green card, making it an attractive option for investors who wish to obtain permanent residency in the United States.
Eligibility: You must invest at least $1.05 million (or $800,000 in a targeted employment area) in a new commercial enterprise that creates at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
Duration: The EB-5 visa grants conditional permanent residency for two years. After meeting the investment and job creation requirements, you can apply for the conditions to be removed and obtain a permanent green card.
Benefits: The EB-5 visa offers a direct path to U.S. permanent residency for you, your spouse, and your unmarried children under 21. It also allows for greater flexibility in choosing where to live and work in the U.S.
4. H-1B Specialty Occupation Visa
The H-1B visa is commonly used by U.S. companies to hire foreign professionals in specialty occupations that require at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a specific field.
Eligibility: You must have a job offer from a U.S. employer for a position that requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a specific specialty. The employer must also demonstrate that they are paying the prevailing wage for the position.
Duration: The H-1B visa is initially granted for three years, with the possibility of a three-year extension, for a total of six years.
Benefits: The H-1B visa allows you to work in the U.S. in a professional capacity and provides a potential pathway to permanent residency through employment-based immigration categories.
5. O-1 Visa for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability
The O-1 visa is tailored for individuals with extraordinary ability in fields such as science, education, business, arts, or athletics.
Eligibility: You must demonstrate sustained national or international acclaim and recognition for your achievements in your field of expertise. This can include awards, publications, or other significant contributions.
Duration: The O-1 visa is typically granted for up to three years, with the possibility of extensions based on the continuation of your work in the U.S.
Benefits: The O-1 visa allows you to work in the U.S. in your area of extraordinary ability and provides a potential pathway to a green card through the EB-1A category for individuals with extraordinary ability.

five levels of affection
Scenario: Bakugou doesn’t seem like a very affectionate kind of guy at first glance, so you’re pleasantly surprised by the many ways he shows affection as your relationship with him grows
Genre: F L U F F
Pairing: Reader (Y/N) x Bakugou
A/N: oh shoot this isn’t haikyuu but i’ve really been into bnha and this is literally just something that I pulled out of my “things I would love to see from emotionally constipated men” bag of ideas. i literally love this man and his floofy hair
level 1: sharp elbow nudges
As Aizawa finishes explaining the hero training for today, you feel someone roughly jab their elbow against your side. You let out a small gasp in surprise and get ready to glare at whoever had the audacity to do so.
As you turn to see who the culprit is, you’re met with striking red orbs that belong to none other than your classmate, Bakugou Katsuki. “Seems like we’re sparring today. Be my partner so I can crush you!”
You let out a scoff and prod your own elbow back at his side. “You couldn’t be a little more nice about asking me?”
Kaminari seems to have witnessed the exchange and decides to sling an arm over your shoulder. “Yeah, man. You can’t just manhandle a pretty lady like (L/N)-chan.”
“No one asked for your fucking input, Dunce Face.” Bakugou lets out a low growl and makes a swipe for the male. Kaminari leaps away from you with a yelp and proceeds to hide behind an unsuspecting Kirishima across the room.
The explosive boy is about to follow Kaminari but stops when you place a hand on his shoulder. “I’ll take your offer. I’d take any opportunity to put you in your place with my liquid manipulation quirk, Bakugou-kun.”
“YOU’RE ON, SQUIRT GUN!”
level 2: aggressive head pats
Everyone has their off days in training. Today seems to be that day for you.
Class 1A was at USJ for some rescue training and you were teamed up with Kirishima and Bakugou. The goal was to rescue dummies from collapsed buildings in the Conflagration Zone as quickly as possible. This fiery zone was absolutely the worst place for you to be in. With no water or any form of liquid for you to manipulate, you were practically running around quirkless.
You felt utterly useless as you just followed your two teammates who were able to successfully rescue the dummies. All you could do was keep a lookout for any falling debris or potential hazards, but not being able to use your quirk frustrated you to no end. By the end of class, you felt defeated and sulked on the way back to the bus.
“Oi.” Bakugou’s voice takes you out of your daze, but you keep your head low in frustration. He takes a moment to scan your face and think about what to do next.
Suddenly, you feel something heavy slam onto the top of your head. The sensation is gone for a second before you feel it again, the amount of force almost knocking you off balance. Once you finally look up to him, you can see a subtle softness in his usual scowl. “No one’s got the perfect quirk for every situation, and that includes you. You did fine, stupid.”
Bakugou’s words lift your sullen mood more than you’d like to admit. Perhaps he wasn’t as aggressive as he tries to give off. A smile spreads across your face when you finally realize that the heavy feeling from before was actually from Bakugou’s hand.
“Was that your attempt at trying to pat my head?”
“AND WHAT OF IT, SQUIRT GUN?!”
level 3: gentle back hugs
“Thank you so much, Recovery Girl!”
“Please try to be a bit more careful next time, dear.”
During a free period, there was a bit of a situation between some of the students and it seemed to have rubbed Bakugou off in the wrong way. He was already in a bad mood at the time, so his emotions seemed to have gotten out of control as he literally blew up his desk with his quirk.
Pieces of wood flew into the air and with your luck, an entire desk leg slammed right into your body causing you to stumble to the ground. Air was knocked out of your lungs as splinters of wood made small cuts on your arms.
“(L/N)-san!” Midoriya yells from across the room. Mina and Sero help you stand up and check over your wounds. Thankfully, none of your other classmates were injured, so you were the only one who needed some medical attention.
Mina offers to take you to the infirmary and you agree to do so. As you leave the room, you briefly glance at Bakugou and see guilt replace his angry expression.
Your pink friend had dropped you off and went back to class after you insisted that you were okay on your own.
You bow your head to the nurse as you exit the school’s infirmary alone. Once you’ve closed the door, you’re surprised to see Bakugou looking down and leaning against the wall next to you with his hands in his pocket. When he realizes that you’ve come out, he gives you a look that’s difficult to read before walking in the direction back to class.
You follow Bakugou quickly until you fall into step with him. “What are you doing here, Bakugou-kun?”
The boy glowers at the floor in thought before mumbling out something incoherent.
You tint your head in confusion. “What was that?”
He mumbles something again a little louder, but you still can’t understand a word he says. “Bakugou-kun, you’re gonna have to speak a bit louder than that.”
Bakugou’s scowl only grows deeper as if he doesn’t want to repeat what he had just said. You know he’s still upset from before, so you don’t want to push him any further. You’re so focused on wondering what could’ve made Bakugou this irritated that you don’t realize that he was lagging slightly behind you.
You’re startled when you feel gentle arms enclose around your shoulders from behind you and you freeze in place. You’re even more shocked when you hear Bakugou’s gruff voice next to your ear. “I said I’m sorry.”
Butterflies fill your stomach as you realize that Bakugou is voluntarily initiating a back hug and showing you a side to him that he would never dare to show anyone else. You lean back into his toned chest and let out a content hum. “It’s okay.”
He slightly tightens his hold and eventually leans his head against your neck. You both stay like this for a minute longer just enjoying each other’s company in the empty hallway away from the rest of the world.
You could get used to this.
level 4: lazy cuddles (+ a shared smile)
If someone had told you that you’d be cuddling Bakugou Katsuki in his dorm room on a rainy Saturday afternoon a couple months back, you wouldn’t have believed them.
But, here you are, sitting comfortably on Bakugou’s bed while the boy himself was practically engulfing your body with his own, his arms loosely circled around your waist. One of your hands is scrolling through your phone while the other is carding through your boyfriend’s soft blonde locks. Bakugou’s eyes are closed and a comfortable silence fills the room.
It was kind of cute how Bakugou became much more sluggish on rainy days, but you’re not gonna say that out loud unless you wanna risk setting him off. There weren’t any plans for the day and you spend almost every weekend together, so there was no rush to do something.
An interesting news article about a pro hero catches your attention, so you don’t notice that your hand has stopped its ministrations on Bakugou’s hair.
Red eyes open blearily. “Why’d you stop?”
You blink twice as you take your attention away from your phone and stare at your boyfriend. There’s a slight frown adorning his face and it takes all of your self control to refrain from pinching his cheeks.
Opting to give into Bakugou’s subtle pleading eyes, you place your phone on the nightstand and shift your body so that you’re now laying comfortably against his chest. Your hand returns to his hair and your eyes meet his. Based on the glint from him orbs, he’s satisfied.
You and Bakugou smile at each other. The kind of smile that’s only ever shared between the two of you.
level 5: pauses between kisses
You and Bakugou have been out of the dorms frequently since you both have been going to your own respective internships. You try to message each other as often as possible, but your busy schedules don’t really leave much room for free time. It’s been weeks since you’ve properly spent time together, and at this point, you just miss him.
It seems like someone has finally answered your prayers when the two of you are finally able to schedule to have lunch together for an hour today. It’s not as much time as you’d like, but you’ll take anything to be with him.
You both decide to meet up at a fairly secluded park near your internship before eating together. However, any thoughts about your hunger are thrown out the window as soon as your eyes meet. You and Bakugou begin to close the distance between you with hurried steps.
The first thing you do is throw your arms around his neck and kiss him. Bakugou reciprocates the kiss with fervor and places his warm hands on your waist.
There’s nothing you want more at the moment, so you’re a bit disappointed when Bakugou pulls away first.
His face doesn’t move too far away from your own and he simply just stares at you silently. He does this every so often and you’re always surprised by the varying emotions swirling in his eyes.
His gaze is deep as his eyes shift around each feature of your face before landing on your eyes. After a couple more seconds, a soft smile makes its way onto Bakugou’s lips.
Your heart flutters and you suddenly feel a bit shy. You’re about to step back when Bakugou’s hands suddenly encircle around you and his arms embrace you tightly. His lips find their way back to yours and it feels like he’s pouring all of his love into the kiss.
You feel like you could stay like this forever, but a loud rumbling noise breaks you out of your trance. It seems like your boyfriend was hungrier than he let on.
“Not a fucking word, (Y/N).”
A giggle escapes your lips as you both pull away from each other. “Whatever you say, Katsuki.”
A light shade of pink tints Bakugou’s cheeks. He grabs a hold of your hand and begins to grumble about places to eat. You make the effort to interlock your fingers as you both discuss what to do for the rest of your time together.

Hello! I'm new to your blog and I'd like to ask for a transfer student (gn if its easier on you) from Texas to UA. Like class 1A is told that they're having a new student from Texas and they think to throw a wild west welcome party. Reader doesn't have the heart to tell everyone they're from the city so they just go along with it and maybe them and bakugou end up alone after the party and get to know each other some? Thank you!!!
(a/n):hello anon! thank you so much for the request!! this is really interesting and i hope i did my best!!🥰
p.s- so i read this over and over again and what i understand from here is that reader comes from the city; not from the wild west. i hope i got that right! :’’)
———————————————
texas beaut .
a bakugou katsuki x reader oneshot
“did you hear?! we’re getting a new student!!”
“a new student? cool! i can’t wait to meet them!”
“do you think they would give me their number? now i’m worried...”
“oh my god. shut up you idiots,” bakugou told his friends, having the last few bites of his dinner in the dorms.
“what’s your take on the new kid, man? pretty sure you have something to say,” his red friend said, ignoring the cue for them to quiet down.
“huh? i don’t know. heard they were from... Texas or something. damn deku was talkin’ about it,” he said.
he watched as his friends jump up and down, discussing on even bigger plans. he did hear a few - mainly a welcome party, showing them around school, so many things that he knew he could show interest in. knowing him, he was about to play the “chill guy who’s pretty nonchalant about the new kid thing.”
i mean, they’d probably be an okay person. he thought while zoning out.
“hey, bakugou! we need you for this!”
^^^
“settle down, 1A!” iida said for what seemed like the umpteenth time today, as everyone scurried to their seats. the discussion of the wild west themed party was still going on,and it’s halfway done.
in came aizawa-sensei with his sleeping bag. “now. i’ll make this quick. all of you have heard it - we do have a new student. come in, y/l/n,” he waved his hand to someone outside the door, as the class turned to the door, waiting for someone to enter.
as y/n entered, they received various ‘oohs’ from half of the class.
bakugou turned to look at the whole scene unfolding, and when he did, he didn’t regret it.
usually, when it’s someone new, he tends to look away from it as soon as possible. it didn’t seem to buy his time. but right now, it was the total opposite.
his palm which stayed on the jaw now went out of it’s place.
something about y/n pulled him into curiosity. they’re from a different country. they have decided to travel all the way from Texas to UA. of course there could be a reason. but to think that they transferred here - wow.
aizawa-sensei snuggled into his yellow sleeping bag, giving you the floor.
you adjusted your tie, taking in deep breaths. “hello! my name is (y/n) (y/l/n)! i’m so glad to be here! i hope to know much more of your school and also to be friends with everyone here!”
while talking, you took a good look around the classroom.
there was a green-haired boy, eyes gleaming with excitement. a red-haired boy with cute pointy teeth. a girl with pink rosy cheeks. a girl who has earphone jacks on her ears. a dual-color eyed boy.
a spiky blonde haired boy, with ruby red eyes, looking directly at you. something about it was very peculiar.
a few questions in and you noticed your homeroom teacher crawling out of his sleeping bag. “you done? alright. head over to your seat there. the next teacher should be here pretty soon. 1A, you know what to do,” he said, walking out of the door.
you made your way to your assigned seat, and sat down. moments later, a few of your new classmates turned to look at you, introducing themselves. you laughed. it was definitely a new kind of feeling.
especially when you felt the same bright red eyes looking at you.
“um, what’s that boy’s name over there with the blonde hair?”
^^^
“hey.” you heard him say as he approached your desk after a whole day of stealing glances. you weren’t weirded out by that either - considering the fact that you were curious about him too.
everyone talked to you during the school hours, except for him.
it was only the both of you left in the class. the class rep, iida, handed over the key to him. they left, saying sorry a number of times because they had lots of work to complete back in the dorms.
you did need assistance back to the place too. you weren’t used to the school just yet, so having one person as a company would definitely help.
“oh, hello! um, i’m still new to all this, but how do i address you?”
“king explosion murder.”
“woah! really?” you chuckled.
“no,” he snorted at first, but then looked away immediately. “bakugou. look,i’m gonna get straight to the point. i got a pretty tight schedule, ya know? now, put these on.”
“blindfolds? oh, they have cute little eyes on them! are they yours?”
“hah? no way. it’s dunce fa- kaminari’s.”
“okay... wait, but why do i need to put these on?”
“just put them on and....and trust me. hurry up.”
you obliged, sliding them onto your eyes. he then held your arm, indirectly telling you to start walking.
so you did. he was a great company, even though you didn’t get to see his face. he held you back in case you looked like you were about to fall/ hit something nearby. other times, he was quiet.
and it wasn’t like it was awkward silence, either. it was a pristine one, as there were small talks in between. him trying not to snicker with how you stretch your arms out to walk, and him giving you directions.
it was nice.
he then told you to stop, and you heard a large door opening. he brought you in, and you assumed that he closed it behind the two of you.
“alright. take ‘em off,” he mumbled.
the second you did, you saw party streamers flying everywhere, with balloons hanging. you saw the entirety of 1A wearing cowboy hats or boots, and bandanas either tied on their wrists or their necks.the decorative banners had little horses on them, with mini Texas flags, and basically what you would see in the wild west. kaminari was playing the harmonica with so much of passion.
it was cute, but this was all for you?
but how were you supposed to tell them-
“welcome to UA, y/n!” they screamed, rushing over to you, with some engulfing you in warm hugs and high-fives.
“oh my lord! this is amazing, thank you so much!” you smiled widely, clapping your hands. “and the decorations! this is amazing!! i really appreciate your hard work.”
maybe now’s not the time. a cake, self-made. and the decorations. some were handmade, you could tell by the adorable drawings. the setup itself was glorious. so no, you didn’t want to shatter their efforts.
this was still amazing, regardless.
“so, are you ready to cut the cake y/n?! sato and bakugou worked on it,” mina - the pink haired girl - pointed to the both of them.
“of course! i’m pretty sure it tastes so good,” you said, walking towards the wide table with the lovable bunch.
^^^
the common room was cleaned up really quickly. not a lot of mess was made but cleanliness is priority for sure.
“so... you were zoning out quite a lot lately. what’s up with you?”
bakugou looked into your eyes. you gulped a little, setting down your drink. “nah, it’s nothing-,”
“was the cake out of taste?” he raised an eyebrow. “pretty sure i used the right ingredients. sugar boy over there knows his ways with desserts. or was it the food?”
“woah, woah, chill out bakugou! no, the cake was perfect.i loved it a lot. like,i would eat it again.”
he cleared his throat, backing away. “damn it. okay, cool. then what was up with you? no one asked you up to this point, so there.”
“um... okay. you have to promise me not to tell anyone about this then.”
“i knew it.”
“wait! it had nothing to do with the party. absolutely nothing. but keep it a secret. promise me?” you held out a pinky finger, waiting for him to do the same.
he looked at it, hesitated; but gave in anyway. “whatever. i promise. what is it?”
“how do i say it... i’m not, um, from the part of where the wild west is? more like.... i’m not exactly from this part of Texas. yes, i am familiar with this type of culture, but i wasn’t exactly raised with it.”
he blinked a few times, and nodded. “oh.”
“and it’s not like i wasn’t hating it at all! this was already one of the best moments i’ve had so far in the academy; which makes me look forward to more! it just made me sad that i did have to admit it sooner or later. on the other hand, i was so happy.”
“geez, i told them about it,” bakugou placed a hand behind his neck. “gonna have to ask this again - was this whole party thing okay?”
“yes, don’t worry about it!”
“i’m not worried! i just didn’t want to think i wasted my time prepping for this!” he said.
so he was worried.
“worried or not, this was very eventful. you’ve outdone yourself, bakugou katsuki.”
he smirked. “ha, you don’t seem bad yourself.”
“why, thank you. the same goes to you, good sir,” you bowed.
“hey. multiply that by 10.”
“no fair!”
the talk went on for quite a while. the bakusquad were bewildered by how bakugou didn’t seem to complain to you about his bedtime, but then again, they loved seeing their friend - usually really worried about his schedule - finally beating it while making friends with the texas beaut.
———————————————
(a/n): beaut ; a fine example of something. it sounded really wholesome to me, so i went with this title. i hope you liked it! <3

What’s the dynamics of hiring foreign nationals in the Ireland?
In today’s times of rapid globalization, a majority of multinational companies are looking to shift executives and managers from affiliated organization to the U.S. for precise "tours of duty." On the basis of the professional background of the planned transferee, the period of the proposed stay, and the nationality of the foreigner, different options are feasibly available for the U.S.-based employer. These options are all managed in the Immigration and Nationality Act and are usually referred to by the letter and number that mean their sub-section in Section 101, the definitions section of the Act (8 U.S.C. §1101(a) (15)).
Foreign business travellersarriving in US lead to B-1 visas during a short stay (not to go beyond one year). There is no possibility for U.S. employers to reward these visitors. While in the U.S. as a business visitor, a person can choose to:
Conduct negotiations,
Solicit sales or investment,
Discuss planned investment or purchases,
Make investments or purchases,
Attend meetings and participate in them fully,
Interview and hire staff, and
Conduct research.
It is necessary to understand that peopleentering in the U.S. for tourism or commercial objective for 90 days or less from qualified countries (such as Western Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand) may be permitted to visit the U.S. without a visa if their specifications match with the visa waiver program requirements.
According to top-rated London immigration lawyers, company-sponsored employment sanctions for foreign nationals can be divided into two categories:
(1) Non-immigrant status: a specific employer may seek permission to hire a foreign person for a specific period of time as a provisionalemployee; and
(2) Immigrant status or permanent residency: a company may patron a foreign national for permanent residence.
There are various visa categories that are meant to enable the transition from Non-immigrant (Temporary) Residency Status to Immigrant (Permanent) Residency Status, but not all categories allow do. Under the influence of the "dual intent" doctrine, some non-immigrants are permitted to enter and/or remain in the U.S. temporarily with a non-immigrant visa (such as H-1 or L) even though they have shown a long-term commitment to staylong. B-1, B-2, and F-1 categories do not permit themselves to submission of the "dual intent" principle.
Each visa category has very specific regulations that must be monitored carefully by an Ireland immigration lawyer in the UK, most of which ask for organization between the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), portion of the Department of Homeland Security, and other U.S. government departments, such as the Labour Department. Timelines are very important and documentation can be large.
The biggest visa categories for the temporary non-immigrant employment of foreign nationals include L-1A (Multinational Managers/Executives), L-1B (Specialized Knowledge), H-1B (Professional Workers), and TN Application (Canada and Mexico).
Typically, spouses and children can join the person and live in the U.S., but it is also true that they cannotprefer to do a job (and domestic partners are not allowed to seek the benefit from a primary work permit). These visas are time-bound and are not a feasible solution if the employee is supposed to stay for more than a few years.

Hello! If requests are still open and you feel like it I’d love a scenario™️ of bakugou and his crush in a vs fight in the sports festival. Like bakugou eventually pins her by the throat forcing her to give up but he can’t help getting a little hot under the collar with that borderline indecent smirk she’s giving him. She might’ve lost but it certainly doesn’t feel like it. I can literally HEAR midnight commenting on how this just got steamy ghkjc thanks darlin 💘
MMMMM THIS IS A LIL QUICKIE I CAN DO I LIKIE ;) (hints to nsfw but nothing really don’t be a pussy)
All week you were more than worried for the sports festival.
Actually worried was more like an understatement, you were terrified for the sports festival.
It wasn’t because you didn’t think you were ready; you had trained long and hard and had the skills you needed to be number one.
No, you were terrified of facing one certain student one v one. A certain student that would constantly tease you relentlessly leaving you a flustered mess all the time. A student who claimed he was the best because he was the best and carried himself to be the best.
A student who was standing before you right now, palms lighting up as he ran towards you at full speed.
Bakugou Katsuki.
All week you had this gut feeling you would be going against him, and though you prayed hard every night for this cursed day not to happen, sure enough the Class 1A hothead himself was striking at you with everything he had.
Using your wind manipulation quirk you quickly shot a blast of wind towards the ground to just barely dodge Bakugou’s quick attack. Even though you missed the core of the attack, the after blasts were still enough to throw you off as you stumbled to the ground, scattering quickly to your feet.
“Why are you fucking running (L/n)?” Bakugou shouted, though his words lacked the certain malice he always carried, instead his tone was rather smug as he smirked over to your flustered form, “Afraid I’ll kick your ass?”
Gritting your teeth you felt a swarm of wind fly around your body, causing your (h/c) locks to blow around as you let your emotions get the better of your quirk.
Enough was enough. You were so tired of him teasing you and letting him get the better of you, and to do it in front of the entire sports festival? No, this time you were going to show him who’s boss.
Letting out a loud yell, your form of a battle cry, you ran towards him and spun around, sending a low gust of wind towards Bakugou’s legs effectively making him stumble back on his butt.
Seeing your plan worked you grinned as you launched yourself into the air, making sure you were high enough before you kicked your leg down, a sharp wind of air blasting his way.
You had planned for that extreme gust of wind to his him square in the chest, knocking him unconscious at the least but when you heard the sound blast of wind smash against the ground you knew things were about to go south.
Before you had time to think as you were landing you felt a strong grip wrap around your ankle, a small blast being heard as you were swung around in the air before your body was slammed into the ground beneath you, a yelp of pain escaping your mouth as your body bounced back up from the intensity of the slam.
Ash covered your entire chest, the explosion itself took a tole on your soft skin while the slam itself made you feel as if your entire spine has snapped in half. Though you could feel pain in every part of your body, you knew you still had to get up. This was the final round of the sports festival, you could practically taste victory. All you had to do was-
Your thoughts were interrupted when a rough arm was pressed against your neck, causing you to gasp for air, a few coughs escaping your lips only for your (e/c) eyes to meet a certain pair of crimson ones just centimeters from your face.
“Nice try tornado girl…” Bakugou sneered, a smirk evident on his face as you panted heavily.
Though you knew the match was clearly over, you only having ten seconds to get the brute off you, a certain fire deep in your chest wouldn’t allow you to accept defeat that easily to the cocky boy. Not today.
Suddenly a smirk flashed across your expression as you eyed the boy up and down causing his eyes to widen slightly in confusion.
“First my shirt and now your lips just centimeters from mine?” You purred, a devious look in your eye as you tried to fight the blush rising to your own cheeks, “If it wasn’t you I would think you were trying to do something here Bakugou.”
The once confident expression on Bakugou’s face had dropped, his eyes just now noticing how your shirt had been blown to smithereens just leaving you in your black sports bra, showing more than enough cleavage to make any man stutter on the spot.
Letting out a low chuckle you puffed your chest up a bit before moving your head up closer to his, “My eyes are up here pretty boy.”
The ash blond was now blushing profusely, his eyes shooting up to yours like daggers as he grit his teeth. He almost looked as if he were going to furiously rebuttal until Midnight’s voice had chimed in.
“(L/n) seems to be down, that means Bakugou Katsuki is the winner!”
Everyone began to go into loud cheers, after all the ash blond had been an unstoppable force since his first year.
But before he could even get up, Midnight crouched down with a grin on her face.
“The young winner seems to have a devious look in his eye, let’s get off each other before things get too steamy kiddos.” Midnight said with a wink, causing Bakugou to quickly stumble off you as his face began to flush as red as a tomato, meanwhile the entire crowd fell into a chorus of ‘ooo’s’ and a few ‘get some’s!’
Though you felt a bit embarassed by your practically bare chest being broadcasted on live TV, the feeling of success trumped that as you watched the blushing boy before you.
You were able to fluster the great Bakugou Katsuki, and on live television! This was better than any gold metal you would’ve gotten.
A crew of people ran to the two of you, a man offering you a towel to cover your chest while you took a long drink of your water. But you definitely didn’t miss the last comment Midnight sneaked to Bakugou.
“Careful now Bakugou, next I see that steamy look in your eyes and I’ll use my sleep aroma on you.”
You couldn’t help but snort, water shooting from your mouth as the ash blond began to go on a cursing tangent, screaming to Midnight that he wasn’t trying to get at anything.
Smirk evident on your face you tapped your hip against Bakugou’s cockily causing his furious eyes to look down to you.
“Good job Bakugou-kun, you deserved it.”
After a quick wink to his flushing form you sauntered away, smirk still happily on your face as you were escorted away from news companies and cameras to head back to the locker rooms.
Bakugou’s crimson eyes followed your form, not liking the sudden boost of confidence you had, especially after you just lost to him.
Floods of cameras were suddenly surrounding him, asking him what was next or about the incident, but all he could do was think about you, his teeth gritting as he shook his head. All that was playing in his head were the same eight words he was thinking as he pinned you down.
You were so going to pay for this.

M O O N L I G H T // Todoroki X Reader
Request from @anewfreind : How about a Todoroki x reader where Todo cant sleep so his crush offers to sing him to sleep. They both fall asleep and end up spooning. Then someone ends up needing Todo for something and walks in on them spooning, probably calling mineta over or something.
The request is done! It turned out a little different from what I first planned but I hope you enjoy it none the less! I’ve never written for Todoroki before, so I hope it’s alright!
It was the middle of the night. Neither too warm or too cold, but the moon shone brilliantly through the clouds, cascading silvery light from the inky sea around it. Todoroki had always liked the moon. It brought time of peace and tranquillity, and the moon itself was pretty to gaze upon. So when he often found himself plagued by nightmares, he turned to the moon and the stars for peace.
Tonight, he found himself seated in the common room, a glass of water on the table before him as he gazed endlessly into the night, watching the trees shiver in the wind. However, he soon felt the presence of another approaching from the stairs, so he turned his gaze toward it.
His breath hitched when he watched the (h/c) haired girl stop in her tracks, gaze caught in his. They stared at each other for a few seconds, before the girl broke eye contact, averting her gaze to the floor. “Oh, sorry. I didn’t know anyone else was awake.” Her voice was a mere whisper, but in the otherwise dead silent room, he heard her loud and clear. “It’s alright. I take it you couldn’t sleep?” The girl nodded, hesitantly making her way over. “Mmhmm. I just can’t seem to stop thinking...” she trailed off, before finally lifting her gaze to meet his. “What about you?” She perched herself on the sofa beside him, careful not to infringe on his personal space. “Just... nightmares. Nothing new.” The two sat in silence for a while, content with each other’s company.
So, it came with great surprise when (Y/n) began humming. Just quiet enough for them both to hear. Todoroki turned to watch her. She was swaying slightly with her tune, eyes closed. Her hair was messy and tousled, but she seemed at peace. Todoroki felt something tug at his chest. He felt the urge to do nothing but wrap the girl in his arms, assure she was safe and comfortable, to tell her she would always be protected, that she was astounding. But of course, he refrained from doing so, simply choosing to let his eyes settle on her face as he drank in the sight of her features drowned in moonlight.
She finally peeked one eye open, catching Todoroki’s gaze locked on her. She stopped humming and instead sucked in a breath from behind her teeth. “Sorry! I didn’t mean... it just helps me...” She trailed off, fiddling with her fingers which were interlaced in her lap. “It’s alright. I found it... quite pleasurable. I would be honoured if you continued.”
“Oh.” (Y/n) shifted under his gaze, smiling lightly to herself. “Of course, then.” She settled into the sofa, beginning to hum again, but this time singing the words as well.
Todoroki lost himself listening to her voice, just as he lost himself to the night sky. He had unconsciously inched closer to her, enough that if they swayed in opposing directions their shoulders would touch. And that’s where they sat.
(Y/n) eventually began to slow, eyes fluttering open and closed until she fell asleep. She collapsed backward into the couch, her chest rising and falling with steady breaths. Her face was free of worry and stress, perfectly calm as she slumbered. Todoroki found a smile tugging at his lips. His fingers danced across her skin, tucking a rouge (h/c) piece of hair behind her ear. He watched her for a moment, content with seeing her peaceful.
Until he decided the couch was no place for a princess to sleep. He wished he could have asked but waking her would have just made more of a fuss. He scooped the girl into his arms, as gentle as could be to ensure not to disturb her. He headed for stairs, nearly dropping her, however, when she nestled herself deeper into his arms. This girl would be the death of him. Every day he found just one more thing he loved about her.
He slowed to a halt before her dorm room, carefully trying the door.
It was locked.
He glanced up and down the halls as if there would suddenly be an answer waiting for him. It was very likely (Y/n) had her key on her, but Todoroki wasn’t about to go snooping through her pockets. So, he simply decided on the next logical thing.
Bringing her to his room.
He tucked the slumbering girl in, watching as she curled up under the blankets. The bed dipped under his weight as he sat down. He decided to leave the door open in case she awoke later, so she could leave without disturbing anyone. However, this did not solve where he was going to sleep. He would have taken the floor, but he had no extra blankets or bedding. His eyes swept over her figure, huddled over one side of his bed. It would be a waste of a night if he didn’t sleep at all, wouldn’t it?
Todoroki perched himself beside (Y/n), laying atop the blanket to at least give an air of respect. It only took minutes for him to drift off to sleep, lulled to its depths by the soft, rhythmic breathing of the girl beside him.
<>
Mina knocked rapidly on her friend’s door, whining as she still received no answer. “(Y/nnnnnnnn) c’mon! I can hear your phone going off!” She huffed, crossing her arms and pouting, turning and stalking off down the hall to speak to Momo. Perhaps she’d seen the girl this morning. She only spared a glance through the open dorm room door, rolling her eyes as she caught sight of Todoroki lying in bed with someone.
Wait.
Mina spun on her heel and launched herself back toward the door. It was unheard of for someone like Todoroki to leave his door open, but to by lying in bed with someone? She couldn’t quite see who it was he was lying with, as they were curled up in his chest, both facing away from the door.
Mina nearly woke the entire dorm up with her flurry of text messages to everyone. And soon enough, nearly half of 1A was peering into Todorokis dorm. “How did this happen!” Mina whispered, shoving her phone into the dorm in an attempt to gather some proof. “This is s breach of privacy!” Momo snatched the phone from Mina. “They are SPOONING, Momo! THE ice prince himself is showing loving affection to none other than (Y/n)!” Mina made another wild grab for her phone. “As much as it is surprising, we should leave them be.” Sero put in, yet quickly shut his mouth when Mina glared at him. “When will I get whisked off my feet by some beautiful individual!” Mina wailed. The group froze when they heard a low grunt. Todoroki began to stir, and the group of idlers shot off down the hall.
(Y/n) woke up from the most pleasant sleep she’d had in a long time. She was unusually warm and drowned in a familiar scent. It’s only when she tried to stretch that she realised a strong arm was secured protectively around her waist. She then became acutely aware of how her back was pressed up against something. Someone. She could feel the warm, soft breaths tickle the back of her neck. The knot in her stomach seemed to flip as she recalled the events of last night. She tried to calm her racing nerves, but imagining how Todoroki was peacefully sleeping beside her was not helping. She took a deep breath, swiftly deciding she’d accept this predicament. She closed her eyes again, letting out a content sigh as she nestled deeper into his embrace.
