#so there's this person on twitter who is like an infamous drama starter and got a whole forum shut down once #and they wrote this (different) book that's one of the greatest so bad it's good things i've ever read #a few great things that happen in that:#characters get in a car crash and flee on foot. later it's casually mentioned one character had both her legs amputated 'due to fractures'#the character pretending to be american by wearing maga hats that have spy gear built into them #the spy gear in question is an alarm that blares if someone lies in their vicinity #'stuff protocol ' said the queen. 'i'm getting hammered tonight'#the chapter where the prime minister is trying to watch the news so she keeps wandering into bars and tv shops and getting kicked out #the dragon that's casually described as 'about the size of 1000 elephants'#the dragon that's a 'dog dragon hybrid with a chihuahua body and a giant dragon head'#the dragon that's owner punched it in the face and only lets people approach if they 'do the iconic royal wave'#the characters being described as 'the short one' 'the guy with the beard' etc #but there being a lengthy detailed description of the characters in harry potter #'apparently a dragon had burnt essex to cinders in a matter of minutes'#anyways i found out they also wrote (a political parody of indiana jones???) for this book of kids short stories years ago #and you know. we needed to know #so it took me like 4 months to track this precious lost media down #which was very worth it because it turns out it's full of many other iconic gems like CELLAR HELL by Elizabeth Elgie (12)

#ramarl #phantasy star online #long tag warning lol i rambled #so i was introduced to phantasy star online #i think its safe to say i really enjoy the game #thank you mr crow for showing me this game :D i have new creatures to scribble now #there shall be more of these doodles #i promise you that #meant to post this wayyyyy earlier today but uh #my car broke down :') ....again :')#last week it wouldn't turn on and the headlights weren't working so we were like ''ok this is a battery issue and i need a new one''#because jumping the car didnt fix it #so we took my old battery to a shop and they tested its charge before showing us which new one we should get #but the battery had charge???????? so we went back home to troubleshoot #and then found the hooks(?idk what they're called) that connected the battery to the car had something corroded on them #so we grabbed a can of coke and scrubbed away #hooked the battery back up and bam car was working #so the issue was those hooks #until two days ago when my car didnt work again #looked at the battery again and the hooks came loose; tightened them up and bam car working again #and now at this point I'm scared to go anywhere cause what if i get stranded on my own??#so this morning i said ''alright I'm gonna drive myself to church just to be sure that my car works''#AND WOULD YOU GUESS WHAT HAPPENED #at this point i just wish the damn battery was dead and that i could replace it and move on from this #i know they're a bit pricey but jesus this is exhausting #but i can't just buy a new battery if im not sure that's the actual problem because then I'd have a battery and nothing to do with it #i hate having a car sometimes i just want a bus system #or a jeep #but preferably a bus system #sorry rambles thats a long way of saying i didnt post this earlier because ive been working on my car lol

Crazy the way emotions work. One minute I’m shaking from anxiety because I got into a car accident and the next I am dancing around my kitchen because The Kaveh Purse has finally arrived.

The man on the radio is playing the Pink Panther theme by Henry Mancini ... then there's the 3 minutes of death, war, famine and pestilence, the newscaster's soft tones telling us how terrible the world is ... before we return to the man on the radio talking about the return of an old breed of goat on the Emerald Isle.

The sun is flitting in and out ... every so often adding extra oomph to the garishness that is the fields of rapeseed currently lighting up the surrounding land of next door's farm.

Bought some Broom as a bee treat. They're starting to get busy again. Gotta keep a close eye out for the bees that didn't make the cut ... so many dozy/wingless ones that crawl all around the yard. They all have to be collected up and moved to the other side of the gate so the dogs' paw pads don't fall foul of them.

The shiny metropolis awaits. Nice to see a different landscape but hate the noise and fumes. Amused myself with the idea of creating a perfume called 'Per-fumes', as per the fumes the town is awash with ... car fumes and people perfumes galore ... makes my head ache.

Once a week is enough, then it's back to the countryside smells ... a heady combination of flowers, animal poo and tractor fumes ... hmmmm ... (ponders) ... now what will I call that scent? ...

We're going to try a different sort of post today. A compilation of interesting little details that we spotted in the art for Fallout 76's 14th season, Fight for Freedom.

First off, the cars shown off in the art consist of a Chryslus Sedan as seen in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, with two Corvega Atomic V8s from Fallout 4 and 76 shown on either side.

Secondly, the marching soldiers appear to be wearing a version of the Free States Revolutionary outfit, available in 76's Atomic Shop.

And finally, the building behind Liberty Prime appears to be loosely based on the real life Chrysler Building. Members of our Discord server have unofficially dubbed this the "Chryslus Building," although a location by the same name has already appeared in Fallout 3.

kind of ironic how the actual investigations are the worst part of p4-

#rambearling #persona 4 #p4 #i like rise's investigation where you can't finish it on the day it starts #cuz an npc you need to talk to spawns on a different day of the week #and izanami's investigation where she inexplicably doesn't show up at all until you talk to dojima and nanako at the river #which the game doesn't hint towards at all. granted i think knowing about her being the gas attendant ahead of time #made that more confusing for me cuz i assumed she'd just be in the shopping district by the gas station-#why did she decide to work at a gas station of all places anyways #local goddess gets a probably minimum wage job at a gas station in a town with like two cars more news at 7 #i want to replay p4 so badly tbh i haven't even beaten it yet........ will probably play p4au before replaying it though #hopefully pq and pq2 also if i get a laptop that can like actually run lime3ds at a playable frame rate-

Holy fuck y'all i should NOT be awake 😭

#p #i need to be up in six hours 😭😭#i had an awful exhausting evening #my hamster that i had before moving passed away #the car i bought not even two years ago is totaled and unfixable #i lost one of the gigs i thought i had secured for the school year #it is pms hell week for me and i keep swinging wildly between utter fully body rage and complete overwhelming despair and anxiety #i want to cry but ive done enough crying tonight thank you!!!!#please let tomorrow be kinder i desperately need it #please let the jobs ive emailed tonight email me back #and let the pay be good #i also have sooooo much to do before next tuesday oh my god #i need to prep for our session on saturday #finish lesson planning for the summer camp #finish character creation #grocery shop #quick clean of the house bcuz lord knows i wont be doing it while at the camp #i still havent received a v important piece of mail #figure out how to pay my taxes and insurance #prep for the meeting i have monday morning re new school year including some brain storming #reviewing the pacing calendar and handbook and looking at the google drive again #and im being social this entire weekend agh #plus look for jobs i guess??? bcuz money is needed #and theres family drama 🙃#ugh i should probably not be posting this on main #perhaps i will delete later ugh #life is just hard atm it will get better it always does #and i will not lose my rental nor will i be unable to pay my taxes and bills #it will be FINE #because i will make it fine

Home sweet home! Bleh. I got some hardcore car sickness on the ride back that I could NOT shake. Four straight hours of active nausea is… not fun. 😅 But I’ve finally returned home to my cats! They’re extremely displeased at my extended absence but are slowly warming back up to me, and by “slowly,” I mean “I currently have one on each thigh and the third fighting for his own spot.”

I hope all of y’all are doing well too, and if not, I hope it’s all uphill from here, and my PMs are open if y’all ever need me. 💗🫂

#peaches forgot to pack his meds so she’s feeling extra sentimental right now #…which MAY have contributed to the car sickness come to think of it.#but! it was a wonderful little mini-vacation!#the weather was nice today and I got to sit by a fountain at a busy shopping pavilion and watch the people go by #I got a new outfit and a new ring and two new perfumes and I just had a really great time overall!#peaches screams into the void
