I know the "Ponyboy likes horses/ponies" thing is probably something that has been brought up before and people are tired of. And maybe it's just the projecting. But I think he actually kind of would have a little enjoyment for them. RIP Ponyboy Curtis you. actually old on.

The 27th was my birthday! Turned 21, had a Monster High cake, and carved foam pumpkins. It was awesome.

Breyerfest was such a a fun experience! I hadn't been to one since 2014, but it's even better with Adult Money! Here's some of my favorite Things That Happened:

I met DeeJayBe Studios in the Breyerfest Store line?? That was so cool! She took a picture with me and gave me a Sonder Surprise sticker! My very first time meeting a youtuber, and I didn't even have to wait in the autograph line!

I met Buckeye's owner while waiting for the shuttle from the horse park to the clarion. She was funny!

My Clarion haul doubled my flash conga (my favorite mold!) and included an LSQ Cobra with some ribbons from model horse shows! So cool!

Guy McLean's part in the Celebration of Horses was so fun! His horses are incredibly well trained, and it was so cool to see Spinabbey's sideways and backwards canters! I couldn't even tell that Lightning's "misbehavior" was on purpose until he laid down lol

My first Breyer horses as an adult, and a rewigged-by-prev-owner Karito Kids doll! Aren’t they all so pretty?

The wig will need a brushing, of course—this is straight-out-of-the-mail hair, lol

hi hi i was wondering how do you feel about the collecta horse figurines?? im considering getting some and first i was thinking about getting some schleich but sadly the new ones look really bad :( collecta seems much nicer from what ive seen online, do you happen to know if they are in fact nice?? or are there maybe any other affordable brands available in the EU that i should look at? thank you horse expert <3

As for buying horses in the EU, check out German sellers like Modellpferdeversand, Spielzeug Guenstig, and Spielfigurenportal, they have a pretty big catalog! I haven't bought from them yet, so I can't personally vouch for them, but Modellpferddeversand is a trusted site in the model horse community, and the two other sites have a lot of positive reviews.

Modellpferdeversand has basically every horsey brand that they have in the US, so my affordable realistic recs are the usual: CollectA, WIA, Breyer Stablemates, and Schleich from the mid-2000s (they have retired Schleich on that site).

"why can't i go?" you pouted. your girlfriend was going out to herd in the cows and she refused to let you come along. a frown played on your lips as you looked up at the auburn haired girl, silently begging her to let you help. "what if they stampede n' crush you? i don't want you gettin' hurt. just stay here n' keep an eye on the place, yeah?" she'd give you a quick peck on the cheek before shutting the door in your face, not giving you time to argue back with her.

cowboy!ellie who takes you on trail rides and even camping out in the deep countryside. spending time with you, the horses, and out in nature? ellies HEAVEN.

cowboy!ellie who laughs as you name each cow in the pasture.

"ya know we're jus' gonna eat em right?" she'd nudge your side with her elbow causing a giggle to escape your lips. "yeah well we arent eating them yet so for now they get names." you'd continue to name them until there wasnt one left without a name. most of the names you picked were.. strange. "honey moomoo", "beef wellington", etc etc.. lets just say when it came time to eat them, you decided to never name one of the cows again.

cowboy!ellie who pretends to act annoyed when you steal her worn, tan, stetson cowboy hat but secretly thinks you look adorable wearing it.

cowboy!ellie who has had the same pair of boots for YEARS and refuses to get new ones for god knows what reason.

cowboy!ellie who has a shelf full of breyer model horses you've gotten for her over the years because she's secretly a horse girl and loves that stuff.

Hey Breyer collectors, in a hypothetical situation where you have the funds to purchase 1 pre-owned/secondary market ( like on Ebay) Stablemate you want what price range would be a hard limit for you? Even if you want it A LOT, you have the money, but the small size doesn't feel like it's worth it what what a seller is asking for. Customs aren't included here only official releases.
