I know the "Ponyboy likes horses/ponies" thing is probably something that has been brought up before and people are tired of. And maybe it's just the projecting. But I think he actually kind of would have a little enjoyment for them. RIP Ponyboy Curtis you. actually old on.

Breyer’s next release in the “Birds of a Feather” series will be drawn soon and emails will be sent to those lucky enough to be chosen from the entry lottery! He is a limited edition of 500 named after the bird he’s based on, Magpie! His paint is black with blue interference to give him a metallic blue shine. Hope I get picked for this boy, also interesting to see breyer take an unrealistic approach on this entry in the series as previous birds of a feather models have leaned towards heavily realistic. Only slight change i would have wished is since he is already unrealistic, i would have liked to see him with dark colored hooves as I feel the colors would have had more cohesion and real magpies have black/gray feet.

Breyerfest was such a a fun experience! I hadn't been to one since 2014, but it's even better with Adult Money! Here's some of my favorite Things That Happened:

I met DeeJayBe Studios in the Breyerfest Store line?? That was so cool! She took a picture with me and gave me a Sonder Surprise sticker! My very first time meeting a youtuber, and I didn't even have to wait in the autograph line!

I met Buckeye's owner while waiting for the shuttle from the horse park to the clarion. She was funny!

My Clarion haul doubled my flash conga (my favorite mold!) and included an LSQ Cobra with some ribbons from model horse shows! So cool!

Guy McLean's part in the Celebration of Horses was so fun! His horses are incredibly well trained, and it was so cool to see Spinabbey's sideways and backwards canters! I couldn't even tell that Lightning's "misbehavior" was on purpose until he laid down lol

hi hi i was wondering how do you feel about the collecta horse figurines?? im considering getting some and first i was thinking about getting some schleich but sadly the new ones look really bad :( collecta seems much nicer from what ive seen online, do you happen to know if they are in fact nice?? or are there maybe any other affordable brands available in the EU that i should look at? thank you horse expert <3

As for buying horses in the EU, check out German sellers like Modellpferdeversand, Spielzeug Guenstig, and Spielfigurenportal, they have a pretty big catalog! I haven't bought from them yet, so I can't personally vouch for them, but Modellpferddeversand is a trusted site in the model horse community, and the two other sites have a lot of positive reviews.

Modellpferdeversand has basically every horsey brand that they have in the US, so my affordable realistic recs are the usual: CollectA, WIA, Breyer Stablemates, and Schleich from the mid-2000s (they have retired Schleich on that site).

"what if they stampede n' crush you? i don't want you gettin' hurt. just stay here n' keep an eye on the place, yeah?" she'd give you a quick peck on the cheek before shutting the door in your face, not giving you time to argue back with her.

"ya know we're jus' gonna eat em right?" she'd nudge your side with her elbow causing a giggle to escape your lips. "yeah well we arent eating them yet so for now they get names." you'd continue to name them until there wasnt one left without a name. most of the names you picked were.. strange. "honey moomoo", "beef wellington", etc etc.. lets just say when it came time to eat them, you decided to never name one of the cows again.

The highly controversial indiscriminate child sexual abuse regulation (so-called chat control) could still be endorsed by EU governments after all, as France could give up its previous veto. This is reported by Euractiv and confirmed by internal documents. France considers the new “upload moderation” proposal in principle as a viable option. According to the latest draft regulation dated 28 May (Council document 9093/24), which is presented as “upload moderation”, users of apps and services with chat functions are to be asked whether they accept the indiscriminate and error-prone scanning and possibly reporting of their privately shared images, photos and videos. Previously unknown images and videos are also to be scrutinised using “artificial intelligence” technology. If a user refuses the scanning, they would be blocked from sending or receiving images, photos, videos and links (Article 10). End-to-end encrypted services such as Whatsapp or Signal would have to implement the automated searches “prior to transmission” of a message (so-called client-side scanning, Article 10a). The initially proposed scanning of text messages for indications of grooming, which is hardly being used to date, is to be scrapped, as is the scanning of voice communication, which has never been done before. Probably as a concession to France, the chats of employees of security authorities and the military are also to be exempted from chat control.

During the last discussion on 24 May, the Council Legal Service made it clear that indiscriminate chat control scanning of non-suspects is still envisioned and remains a violation of fundamental rights. Nevertheless, most EU governments are determined to go ahead. EU governments plan to continue their discussions on June 4th. “The Belgian proposal means that the essence of the EU Commission’s extreme and unprecedented initial chat control proposal would be implemented unchanged,” warns MEP and most prominent opponent of chat control Patrick Breyer (Pirate Party). “Using messenger services purely for texting is not an option in the 21st century. And removing excesses that aren’t being used in practice anyway is a sham. Millions of private chats and private photos of innocent citizens are to be searched using unreliable technology and then leaked without the affected chat users being even remotely connected to child sexual abuse – this would destroy our digital privacy of correspondence. Our nude photos and family photos would end up with strangers in whose hands they do not belong and with whom they are not safe. Despite lip service being paid to encryption, client-side scanning would undermine previously secure end-to-end encryption in order to turn our smartphones into spies – this would destroy secure encryption. More ponies from the porcelain_piggy herd, with their matching duo-color tail ribbons! I actually took these photos back in April, and delayed posting them because…. ??? Maybe because I got so caught up posting the Breyer horses, I figured I’d get to them later then forgot? 🤣 Today’s ponies feature Firefly (with a bit of a tail issue, I think she got a new zip tie tail clamp!), Moonstone (whose eyelashes I wiped away trying to remove some eyeshadow - sorry girl!! 😵‍💫) and two cute little babies, Ember and Cuddles! I definitely hoped the babies at least would be baitable, but they cleaned up so nice! And I bet Moonstone would look great with some extra stars to hide her age dots… and some new lashes. 🤣
