I'm not scared! Colby Brock x MotoGPDriver! Reader Part 2

Plot: You made a tweet about Sam and Colby and were in a podcast and they brought up Sam and Colby where you talked about the paranormal and how it doesn't really scare you because you drive motorcycles at over 200mph.

"Sam?" you ask seeing the blonde man behind you.

"Hey!" he exclaims coming forward and pulling you into a hug. You stood there in shock that you were actually meeting these boys and that they were coming to watch you race.

"Hey!" Another voice says from behind Sam, he was taller with dark hair and you knew it was Colby.

"Hey, Colby?" you ask looking over him and he nods.

"Can we post some pictures off us all together?" Sam asks seeing as you guys were all at the airport.

"Yeah sure! I'll drive you guys to the hotel then yeah?" you ask looking over them. You all take a selfie, you stood in the middle of the two of them with a big smile on your face. After taking some more photos you take a rucksack from what was at Sam's feet and he tried to protest but upon seeing how easily you picked up the heavy equipment filled back he let you help out.

"Are you guys doing any filming while you are here, or is this strictly vacationing?" you ask looking over at them while you all clamber into the lift.

"We haven't planned on doing any big filming, just TikTok's at the race and stuff! We want to come back here though as there's so many more places..." Colbly answers glancing over at you.

"Okay, well let's get you guys set up in the hotel and then my treat and I'll take you both out for food" you grin and they both nod eagerly.

You take them to the carpark and they look around trying to find out which car is yours.

As you start to walk all the way towards the back Colby starts to complain as to why you'd park so far away when there's so many available spaces towards the front.

When they walk up to your New Model Ferrari, your question is answered.

"Holy shit, that's a nice car!" Sam exclaims looking over it, not evening daring to touch it. You whip the key out your pocket opening the boot where you strategically place their bags. One of them would have to have a bag or two in the second back seat because of the sport aspect to the car.

"I really should have brought the Audi" you sigh, looking at the bags in the back before you slowly close the boot. Sam and Colby sharing a look with each other.

"I call Shot Gun!" Sam cries going to the front driver's side door.

"You aren't driving my car, Sam!" you giggle knowing he hasn't realized where he's stood.

"Right, yeah I forgot we're in the UK" Sam laughs but see's Colby getting in the passenger side door.

"Snooze you loose buddy!" he exclaims making you laugh.

The drive to the hotel wasn't too long, you guys spoke about anything that came up in conversation. It was all so natural as if you'd known them for years and you felt so comfortable in their presence.

You helped them into their hotel room, while Colby made a little video to put on his Instagram story.

"Hey guys, it's Colby. I'm of course here with Sam and we're here in England again" he shows the camera the outside of the hotel that was in the Hilton on the edge of the Silverstone Race Track. "But we have a very special guest that we are being shown round by today. Y/N Y/L/N!" he says panning the camera to you and showing them you.

"Hey!" you grin before Colby switches the camera back on him and Sam.

"We're going to go live here later, so go comment under my latest twitter post all the questions you guys want to ask and we'll answer any questions you guys have an discuss what is up and coming for the three of us!" he grins before ending it with a little peace out sign.

"That gives us time to discuss over dinner yeah?" Sam asks and you nod.

You guys all head on a train into London to get some food from the city rather than staying around Silverstone.

"So, have you guys thought of any locations you want to investigate?" you ask, knowing there was definitely some in the UK that they hadn't done here in the UK, but you travelled round so much that you were pretty much willing to go anywhere.

"We were thinking of going back to Australia, we did it at the start of the year and we got some really interesting footage while we were there" Sam offers.

"I don't think we've done enough in the UK either, there's some great places in Wales, and Scotland we haven't done too!" Colby suggests, he loved when they visit here, it always had some of the best energy whenever they came here.

"Yeah I feel like you guys don't want to rinse America of its haunted spots, so either of those would be cool! There's so many like haunted places worldwide, I guess it's just an issue of asking permission of whether or not you can get to view it like solo and be able to have the place to yourself!" you admit, understanding why they probably hadn't done the Paris Catacombs or Bangarth Fort in India or Proveglia Island in Italy.

"Well, it's up to you maybe we can ask what the fans think tonight. We have time, I cant imagine Y/N will be free for filming for a while anyway right?" Colby asks, again. He was fully aware of your driving schedule but he knew it was a lot of exhausting travel.

After lots of talking and getting to know them you all went back to the hotel, you set up Colby's phone in their room and started and insta live while you and Sam had the Tweet up that Colby posted earlier in the replies.

"Hey guys!" Colby smiles as he watches fans flood into the chat already starting to ask questions in the chat.

"Okay guys, we'll only be answering questions from the tweet we sent out on the shared account earlier okay?" Sam laughs seeing people asking who you were and what you were doing there.

You were laughing when you saw fans asking if you were Colby's new girlfriend. They were the ones that were obviously Sam and Colby fans and didn't venture into motorsport.

There was others in the live defending you, trying to explain who you were.

"Y/N you wanna introduce yourself?" Sam asks seeing the majority of comments be asking who you were and what you were doing with the boys.

"Okay, so for the Sam and Colby fans I'm a MotoGP driver, so I drive motorbikes around race tracks all over the world, really really quickly! I made a silly drunk tweet saying I wouldn't be scared to collab with these two and here we are!" you grin, as people start flooding the comments.

"Yes, guys she is very fast! We'll be cheering for her at Silverstone!" Sam says looking at the more comments flooding in.

"Okay guys, we are moving onto your twitter questions now. No more answering from here!"

"Okay the first one I found is, is Y/N good at what she does?" Sam says before raising and eyebrow.

"Well, Sam and Colby haven't watched me yet. But you can see all of my races of YouTube!" you smile politely.

"She's a better driver than the both of us, I'll give her that!" Colby exclaims looking at him phone seeing the emoji spam.

"Where are you thinking of investigating next and will it be with Y/N?" you read out, scrolling through the twitter thread trying to find good ones.

"Next one coming out wont be Y/N because we haven't even filmed with her yet, and I think we might be filming with one other person before her depending on schedules. so maybe Y/N can be a hell week guest if the timings right? But... again not sure if we'll want to do something with her before then, incase that's too much for her to ...yano handle!" Colby explains while smirking as you turn to hit him in shock.

"I would be fine on hell week! I'll smash anything, any challenge let me rephrase that you give me and I will do it!" you grin.

"Mmmmm, we'll see!" Sam teases.

"I mean, while we are here in the UK, would you have time to do something. We've got some contacts we could whip something up?" Colby asks reading the instagram chat seeing that everyone's wondering why you aren't doing anything soon as you don't have to be in Austria until August the 16th.

"I mean, I'm down..." you grin, wondering where they could possibly take you.

"Okay, guys you heard Y/N if we can get something sorted we may be filming in the next few days after the race!" Sam exclaims happier.

Once you'd sifted through most of the questions about who you were and why you were with the boys you got onto the more random questions that were just sort of get to know you.

"When do you prefer to work out, morning or evening?" Sam asks, looking from Colby to you.

"I'm definitely an evening guy, I tend to be more proactive around that time and I've never been one to wake up early with a lot of motivation for the day" Colby explains before Sam nods and agrees that he prefers the evening.

"As and athlete I have a set plan and that means I work out in both the morning and the evenings but I honestly prefer the morning because it feels to me like I've got it out the way!" you giggle and Colby looks over at you shocked.

"You work out twice a day?" he asks with a raised brow.

"Yeah, I have to have really good core strength for on the bike" you nod.

"What's your go-to comfort food?" you ask looking between them while they have a thoughtful expression.

"Mmmm probably like my mum's cooking something like her mashed potato or her lasagna" Colby offers when thinking about it for a little bit.

"Oh! I didn't even think of my parents cooking, I went for more of a guilty pleasure and went for Taco Bell Burrito!" Sam nods and then they turn to you.

"Well, comfort food for me has to be healthy so I actually learnt from good friend of mine and F1 driver Lando Norris about this chicken and pineapple wrap that he has and once i tried it ... just stuck in my head 24/7 on a loop" you laugh, before finding a picture of you and Lando eating them.

"Chicken and Pineapple?" Sam asks with a frown on his face and you just chuckle.

"Don't knock it until you try it!" you exclaim.

"Suppose you enjoy pineapple on pizza too!" Colby jokes.

"On cheat day i do yes!" you grin.

You guys answer a few more questions before you agree that you need to go to bed as it's media day tomorrow and you'll have to be up early.

Am I the only who can't enjoy the new audi content cuz I'm confused as to why it even happened? this was the random first promo jump since he back? It just is really random, kind of like the milk add and the GQ interview. I can't appreciate this new Chris cuz I can't get a read on him. It would have made more sense to actually drop thay Jinx fall campaign with Dodger. Can you imagine the amount of talk he would've gotten? With this audi add, I'm left floundering and it seems doa. It feels like he gets emailed random promo stuff and says Yes, but says No to the actual stuff that would be good for him. Who is running this man? They need fires.

This wasn’t just decided. Large campaigns like this can take a long time. It was filmed in October. There’s no telling when he signed on to be the face of the campaign. The Lala Milk I don’t think he was paid for it.

The Jinx campaign I fear isn’t going to happen at this point. Him deleting the last Jinx video was loud. But who knows.

That GQ interview was unfortunate and never should have seen the light of day.

As for the Audi ad I can see why he did this. It’ll probably run for a couple of years. He’s drove Audi’s in Marvel and Defending Jacob. Plus he drives one. And this is a brand new car for them. I’m sure he made a pretty penny with little work. And I bet he’ll be driving the Q6 e-Tron when it’s available.

So I don’t think Audi was an odd choice for him. He even personally has Audi vehicles. Again, I have thoughts on why Jinx pulled the ad, and I’m sure others do as well. Clearly there is a reason.

What are you ideas about the meeting of dan with horner? and the max/dan video? do you think checo is out now?

Uh, I had to google the Dan-Horner thing because I didn't have the context. Honestly, all the things I have seen so far is about an allegedly meeting happening tomorrow to discuss Checo's future, but the press always takes everything out of proportion.

Like the Max/Daniel thing.... they are friends, besties, and contrary to common belief, Max and Checo aren't tied to each other's hips so they go together everywhere. Checo has a life of his own, and so does Max, and that doesn't mean that Checo is out of RBR, although at this point it wouldn't be that bad, to be honest (as long as he gets another seat for the 2025 season... in Audi... WITH NICO!).

Here I see three options:

Checo stays and keeps complaining about the shitty car, unless they actually do something in this break to fix it instead of just relying on whatever thing they believe it works. However, this option has the downside of everyone still blaming him for anything that goes wrong with the team (this brings another bunch of conspiracy theories about Max going to Mercedes and Carlos hired in RBR, but that's another rabbit hole).

Checo ends this year fully, and moves to another team for 2025. This seems like the most likely option, if RBR keeps their bullshit policy of 'performance'. But for this, Checo needs to know that this will be his last year and his two year contract will be cancelled or something, so he can check his options with other teams (Audi... with Nico).

The most popular by the haters and the European Press: Checo is fired right now and he doesn't come back from summer break to RBR; this means promoting someone from VR Cash (Alpha Tauri/Toro Rosso or whatever name they want to use), and apparently Horner's favorite is Ricciardo. This means a break for Checo as well, and he could join Carlos in the search for a new team (Audi... with Nico).

But whatever happens, as a Checo fan, I'll be with him all the way. However, something to remember... Ford wants Checo, so that's important in whatever decision RBR makes, and also, if they want to have their 'drivers' test' with potential replacements for Checo (as the press is speculating), they should do it in the RB20 that Checo drives, with the set up it has now and with the shitty strategies they give him, it's only fair.

Finally, the press loves to make things up to stir the pot, and RBR helps a lot with that, so I've learned to take it with a grain of salt. If Checo leaves, we leave with him, if Checo stays, we suffer with him... whatever happens, let's just hope for the best.

We've all had a bad day at work, but there are few among us who can say their bad day cost their employer over a million dollars. According to a report from The Daily Mail, a vehicle transporter was on the A20 highway near Farningham, Kent in the U.K. when the trailer containing no less than nine high-dollar supercars turned over. When police arrived, the trailer and several cars were sprawled across the road.

The truck driver, Richard Kilburn only suffered a minor injury but the same can't be said for the vehicles the driver was transporting. Ben Slipper managed to capture the aftermath of the accident on video and posted it to Facebook. From the footage it looks like there was a Lamborghini Aventador, Jaguar F-Type convertible, two Ferrari F430s, an Audi R8, a BMW 318i Sport Plus, an AMG GT Black Series, an Aston Martin DB11, a Nissan GT-R R35, and a Bentley Continental GT that managed to get completely flipped upside down. There is some strong language in the video so be warned.

According to a followup report from The Daily Mail, the supercar carnage was actually the result of Kilburn trying to save lives. Kilburn was transporting the vehicles from Brands Hatch to Goodwood when his truck began to fishtail as he was going down a steep hill with crosswinds. Kilburn saw that he was gaining speed and was heading directly toward a group of cyclists on the road. To avoid hitting the cyclists Kilburn purposely yanked the steering wheel, causing the trailer to jack knife which saved the cyclists but doomed his expensive cargo.

The AMG GT Black Series alone had a starting MSRP of $327,050 back in 2021 and goes for anywhere between $370,000 and as high as $700,000 on the current market. The Daily Mail estimates the value of the supercars to be about £2 million—or a little over $2.5 million. The vehicles may have been property of Everyman Racing Driving Experiences as that is who Kilburn was driving for when the incident occured.

Hopefully the parties involved have a really good insurance policy, otherwise some bank accounts are in for a major brusin'. In the meantime Kilburn is being hailed as a hero for doing what needed to be done despite the massive financial implications to his employer. They may be some amazing vehicles but cars can be replaced, lives can't.

Here is a bit of backstory on why I think Audi will have Sainz and Hülkenberg as a line up:

Both have been teammates before and got along fairly well from the videos I remember back from the Renault days.

Both have worked with Seidel before (Carlos back in McLaren and Nico when he was winning Le Mans.)

Audi were always going to take two experienced drivers and most of those are busy at other teams.

Hülkenberg has been rumoured for the seat ages before he was even in serious news contention. As a German driver there was also always that marketing benefit.

Sainz has been rumoured for Audi for months. Even before Lewis was announced with tension in the Ferrari camp, there was the consideration of where he could go. It's quiet obvious that RedBull wasn't an option with burned bridges to Verstappen + it is right now looking like a sinking ship. McLaren was looked in with their line up very early on and AM also wasn't an option with Alonso affirming that he is staying.

Mercedes is the only other option for Sainz realistically but not only have they fumbled Hamilton + the car, they are also clearly for now focusing on George and Wolff is really affirming with some wild press statements why the team isn't a good idea. Another problem is that Sainz comes with the Sainz camp which has you know been questionable quiet often. I think he and George would clash hard.

Not to mention Sainz has established himself but he isn't at any level where he is a priority driver for any top team. RB have Max, Mercedes has George, McLaren have two young talented drivers, AM is clearly working well with Alonso and Stroll and Ferrari was obviously going to prioritize Charles from the get go. Sainz like Hulkenberg, Magnussen, Ricciardo etc. is in that weird gap between generations. There are Lewis and Alonso and then there is the younger group of George, Charles, Lando and Oscar, all drivers who are rumoured to be the next WDCs of the grid. Sainz is too old to fit into that and never had a stand out start like the others mainly because when you compet against Max Verstappen in your junior year there is a 90% chance you will not match up.

So Sainz has links to the team personal, he has already worked with Hulkenberg, his future is very likely as a driver along Bottas calibre (someone who is good but never quiet good enough to win a WDC) , he has really no better options and logically speaking, Audi is a huge deal. Like, big.

This is one of the top car brands, entering the highest motorsport, and it will be huge money/promotional wise even if he has a shitty nothing season next year.

Audi can't risk a rookie and really, there isn't any younger driver in F2 right now that will be ready for such a potentially big team in two years. So, knowing that, the best bet is to get a good midfielder and a driver of Ricciardo 2014/2016 calibre. Sainz currently is establishing himself big.

Turning down Audi would not only be silly on his part but also a wasted opportunity on theirs.

Plot: Liam Lawson finally gets a seat in F1 signing with Audi Formula Racing in 2026 along with you the fiery new rookie, when you get a sponsor with Uber and have to shoot promos what happens?

A/N: I have taken some of these moments from Darren Levy, some of them are just random crap i've thought off! This is supposed to be short and silly and feel like your almost watching the video or like watching a tiktok compellation!

"Hey guys so today Liam and I are here with Audi and we are happy to announce one of our new sponsors is Uber!" you say looking at the camera a massive smile on your face.

"Today we are partnered with Uber to get you guys to your destinations" Liam adds swinging an arm around your shoulder.

"We've kindly been gifted an Audi RS E-tron GT to use as our Uber car. Its one of the fastest models in Audi and all electric its a beauty" you explain as you walk over to the car with Liam following behind you.

"Black car" Liam says pointing to the car jokingly after your detailed explanation.

"Whose driving first! Me or you?" you ask turning to him.

"Mmmm definitely you" he says before running round to the passenger side of the car and hopping in.

"Okay, so Audi have been very kind an set up a profile for us called Li/N (Liam and your name mixed) and used this awesome picture of Y/N and I" he says showing off the Uber profile that was on the phone.

"Okay, lets pick up our first person" you smile working out how to accept a ride.

"Bobby Knight, we are coming from you!" Y/N giggles excitedly pulling out the large overhead carpark they were in. She had one hand on the wheel and one hand on the gear stick. She follows the directions and eventually pulls into a quiet side street.

"Hello, for Bobby?" the man asks getting into the car flinging his briefcase the the other seat of the car.

"Oh i thought the guy was the driver. I guess you do it together ... cute" he says briefly looking up from his work phone. You took it a little slower just testing the waters, making sure before you pulled out that you knew where the destination was.

"Look, I'm going to a business meeting. Can you just make this a quick job" he sighs looking over at you. Before he can blink, your driving the car how it was built for, obviously safely and within the speed limits but still driving quicker than most Uber's would.

"Jheezus, you can drive" he says laughing a little making a chuckle come from Liam beside you.

"I mean, its my career. You'd expect me to be" she says smugly knowing that if he wasn't a fan he wouldn't actually know what she was going on about.

"Here you go sir" you say pulling up outside the building you requested and he thanked you before hopping out quickly.

"Okay lets switch" you say before it cuts to you and Liam in the opposite places in the car.

"Okay next ride we are picking up Abbey" Liam says having accepted another ride. He quickly drives there while you mess about with the radio finally connecting your phone to the Car Play. Ladbroke Grove by AJ Tracey started playing and you and Liam both started rapping and you drove through the busy streets with the window rolled down.

"Hey babes, got some mates with me yeah? Going to the Xidao Bar?" she says as she comes up to the window the was rolled down. Her and the two mates clamber into the back all squishing in.

"I love you dress, looking like fire girl" you say swinging round looking over the brunette in the middle. She blushed lightly, thanking you before both her friends start to tease her in the back.

"So you girls got a good night ahead?" you ask looking at them in the rear view mirror.

"Yeah, going pub crawling!" the blonde exclaims before whipping out a mirror and lipstick.

"Oh my gosh" the brunette in the middle exclaims her head shooting up.

"You guys are F1 drivers right?" she says looking at the both of them.

"You drive for Audi"

"Yeah!" you laugh. She asks for a picture and you offer her one once you pull up to the club, she gives you a hug and leaves with her equally confused friends.

"Switch"

"Oh my lord and jheez is that two people shaking up in that car? In the middle of the day?" Liam exclaims looking out the drivers side window, past your concentrated head. You look onwards to see what he is exactly looking at.

"Holy shit my eyes!" you cry looking at the intrusion.

"Damn that wild, he is going at it" Liam observes making you slap your hand over his eyes.

"Don't look Liam!"

"It's the middle of the god damn day Y/N its hard to miss"

"No awareness of their surroundings at all" you complain laughing along with Liam.

You reverse out the space, putting your arm round the back of Liam's seat turning the steering wheel with one hand.

"Oh for fuck sake that's going to be in one of your edits, all over tik-tok" he laughs, looking at the position you were in currently driving.

"Okay we have another ride"

"Corey?"

"This is far too nice to be an Uber car" he says getting in the back carefully as you look at the destination which was a 12 minute ride away.

"Yeah, its a company car mate, wish she was mine" you offer, while keeping your eyes on the road.

"Y/N you don't need a company car you're rich, you have an R8 and a vintage Audi at home" Liam laughs before the guys gives you both a strange look.

"Oh my god, your both F1 drivers!" he exclaims.

"That we are sir" you beam looking in the rearview at him.

"Nice race in Spain by the way!" he smiles.

"Thanks! We are both very excited!" you exclaim happy that you were having a conversation with a fan.

"So why are you guys Uber driving?" he asks.

"Well, we have a sponsor with Uber and we thought this would be a funny promo video!"

"That's pretty cool, I'll actually be in Silverstone actually" he says showing Liam his tickets.

"Ohhh, well on behalf of Audi, ill get you a paddock pass for being a 5 star customer today!" you offer and he gasps in shock.

"Thank you so much!" he exclaims before you hand him contact details for where he can get his pass from on the day of the race.

"Your welcome have a nice day" he exclaims and before you know it you and Liam have switched again and he's back to driving.

"I'm getting kind of hungry, Maccas drive through on the company card?" Liam grins cheekily making you nod vigorously. You were starving having not eaten since the morning and it was now rounding late afternoon.

You pull up to the drive threw and the voice sounds out.

"Hello, what can i get for you today" the bored yet youthful voice says behind the order board.

"Hi so I'm going to get a Medium Bic Mac meal, with chips and ermmmm I'll get a coke" he advises before looking at you. You just shove your phone in his face, asking him to say it for you.

"Anything else?"

"Yeah, erm A Garlic Mayo Wrap meal with Carrot sticks? Carrot sticks really? Who the fuck goes to a McDonalds and gets Carrot Sticks, erm and an Oasis please" Liam finishes shaking his head at you in disagreement.

"Anything else"

"Yeah a medium chips and a nugget sharebox" he informs and you look at him in shock, he just shrugs his shoulder pulling forward to the next window.

"What I'm hungry, the nuggets are to share and the chips are for you" he smiles.

You both make a little tray in the middle of the car so you can eat without being messy.

"So, on a scale of one-ten how strict are you parents" you ask after biting into your wrap and chewing the contents.

"Hmmm, well my parents have always been pretty chill! They push me when it comes to racing but other than that they are supportive but in a good way" he smiles.

"So answer the question" you comment looking at him with an 'are you fr?' attitude.

"Oh so like a two, no really that strict at all"

"What's been the best meal of you life"

"This right here with you" he smiles genuinely and you cant be sure if the cameras pick up the light blush that is grazing across your cheeks.

"This crappy McDonalds, in an expensive Audi is your best meal?" you tease back, taking a sip of your drink.

"Mmmhhh" he mumbles smiling.

"Okay, what about your favorite place in the world?"

"See this one is hard, because I move around so much as a driver. You know for most of the year I'm going from country to country driving in one of the most competitive sports. New Zealand has a special place in my heart, but at the same time England has become extremely special to me" he smiles again.

You guys finish up the food, and you end on a group of fan boys who all asked to get pictures with the both of you and the car. Liam drove down the motorway and they were all squealing like little girls by the time you dropped them outside of Stamford Bridge Stadium.

"Enjoy the match boys" you shout.

"Have you ever been to a English Premier League game? We should go. I know Mason Mount, he could get us in" you wiggle your eyebrows.

And that's how you and Liam Lawson ending up watching a Chelsea FC match very very last minute.

So I don’t think Audi was an odd choice for him. He even personally has Audi vehicles. Again, I have thoughts on why Jinx pulled the ad, and I’m sure others do as well. Clearly there is a reason. /

Is it because he is all "business now and no personal"? Which makes no sense to me. Because Dodger is honestly more loved in his own fandom than him. So using Dodger wouldn't be "personal" in my opinion. If he was all business now, whyd he post the random Dodger snow video on stories? He keeps going back and forth it seems, but thinking that he's going to build back or more of a genuine fanbase on cars...yikes.

I get he drove one, drives one, but the shift for him personality in Hollywood wise is rather odd and it leaves me scratching my head. And sad. Majorly sad. Because why gives personal details in GQ, only to yank the more profitable avenue longevity wise (Dodger, Dog Dad, kindness) and to go quick buck route that will fade in time?

Dodger in conjunction with Jinx I would consider business. And he has removed most of his posts. He did have 101 posts and now he’s down to 7. Don’t ask me to figure out the thought process on what to delete because I’m confused on that one. Now the Dodger in the snow video…it’s funny how he sometimes wants to show exactly where he is. Even if it’s a few months later *ahem* golf photo *cough*. I think most of his fans recall him not knowing much about cars, so that recent interview was a choice.

As far as that GQ interview when everyone was saying that he was quitting or going to pull back in acting…he’s done this song and dance in the past. And I have said from the get go that 2022 most likely burned him out a bit. Filmed three movies, did voice over work, he did two huge press tours for Lightyear and TGM. You know how many times I say I’m ready to quit? That’s how that feels for me. He also said he wanted to do one movie a year and here he is with two projects, and…R1 is going to be a trip.

As far as the quick buck goes, listen for $3M+ I’d do a campaign for Audi, too.

And for advice we haven’t seen Chris publicly really since this time last year with Ghosted promo. We’ve seen the Pete Holmes podcast, but that was one day. I guess our next round of press will be R1 and we may see more of his personality. Never forget that Hollywood is a business first and foremost and he’s got a lot of bills and overhead to pay. He’s trying to maintain his way of living and I would assume he does enjoy acting. I hope his break gave him some clarity.

Things that I find weird about what's happening in the F1 game of chairs (and my conspiracy theories related to those):

Carlos Sainz still not deciding which team is better for him. I imagine Carlos with roses (blue for Williams, green for Audi, pink for Alpine, white for Mercedes - Haas is no longer available) and deciding in the end RBR.

The fact that for the past two weeks Helmut Marko hasn't stopped talking about Checo, being hot and cold all the time. First he says they hope he can get into the shape he was at the beginning of the season, then saying he's mentally weak.... and here, I have to take a break from this point to say:

Of course he's not in his best shape, with everyone saying awful things all the time, he just crashed, tried to regroup, and everyone keeps firing him!! What do you expect, uh? He's trying to mantain his sanity, playing nice with all the reporters and ex-drivers who keep shitting on him! Ugh, try to do your job with everyone criticizing all the time with horrible and racist comments.

... sorry, continuing, then he says RBR wants Checo to be back in top form, then he says that 'older drivers should give space to the new talents in RBR', ironic since he's like 1000 years old and he's still here! And also keeps lashing out at people who defends Checo and shows how RBR is toxic (like Pierre Gasly and Juan Pablo Montoya). Anyway, it's very strange, I just know that tomorrow, when I open FB, I'll see another interview with him saying something lukewarm about Checo (since today was rude, tomorrow is the lukewarm turn).

Totto Wolff saying over and over that they're waiting for Max to come to Mercedes, and that they're still hoping he does for 2025. Apparently Totto and Jos are besties now, and Jos wants Max out of RBR because they're not longer the best team with the best car. Seemingly they're postponing the decision for Mercedes' new driver until september (I imagine here Totto making everything in his power to entice Max).

How in the last days the RBR social networks have included Checo. For the last two or three races, the content in their social media has focused on Max, on ex-drivers or their academy kids, barely any Checo content. But since last week, now they have included many videos with Checo (old and new), posting his pictures, even mentioning the whole 'Couple Goals' award.

Horner being all chummy with Checo in Goodwood. I was expecting a little coldness, but he seemed in good spirits with Checo, they all looked like they actually get along.

So, in my deluded mind, this means that this isn't about Checo, but about Max. RBR wants Max, Mercedes wants Max, they have to experiment with Checo to give Max the best settings (and this is something probably Checo agreed on, so I can't say anything about it), Mercedes is catching up just when Lewis is leaving to entice Max... in conclusion, two possible outcomes:

Carlos goes to Mercedes because Max doesn't leave RBR (and Totto decided to wait on Kimi another year or two maybe).

Max moves to Mercedes with the best car argument, and Carlos goes to RBR.

And in those, Checo is still there, making haters hate.

Or, the third option:

3. CHECO GOES TO AUDI WITH NICOOOOO
