I was absolutely clenching my teeth during Paths Unknow because I was so afraid that something could happen to Hunter or Wrecker in that abandoned facility with those hell plants.

WHERE.

Where is Lilith’s palisman, we haven’t seen them at all since ‘O Titan, Where Art Thou’. Did the writers and/or animators straight up forget she had one? Like, it makes sense that she’s using her harpy form to fly in the epilogue, because they wanted to show it, but why isn’t her palisman like. Hanging out with her. They’re not even in the final “BYEEE” shot.

Where are they.

Raine and Hunter got whole new palismen, while Lilith’s just got erased from existence I guess.

There is something really beautiful about Simone Biles being regarded as the best gymnast in history, and her still falling/making mistakes/not qualifying for bars final/not placing first always.

#when i was in middle school i used to use red and black pens + spit for blending to make it look like the backs of my hands were torn open #i can't believe it's almost 4am. i just spent 5 hours typing up an essay about MM's erik that i just fuckin privated bc i was embarrassed #AND I STILL NEVER SPELL HIS NAME RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AAAAAAAA #i was right but im going to save all my points for the fanfic im currently planning out and promptly NEVER GOING TO ACTUALLY WRITE #I say shoving my plans for my h2o s3 rewrite off the table #yes i skipped from s2 to s3 i had a BRILLIANT idea [season 3 h2o spoilers ahead be wary my mutuals who are still watching]#okay so you know how lewis goes to the american institute of marine bio in the middle of 3? since this is tied to my s2 rewrite fic i wante #to actually finally reasonably re-introduced dr denman to the story because i never liked that she just fucked off at the end of s1 #despite WITNESSING the moon pool magic. so i made it so she runs into lewis while doing a presentation for the college and they have a chat #(because her JAW paper plays an important part in my s2 rewrite bc i imagine lewis is the kind of guy who SAYS he deleted every copy of #it... but ACTUALLY he secretly printed himself out a copy to study in private to compare to his own notes bc #[lewis voice] come *on* guys just THINK of the progress that he could make with this! [grabby hands in front of chest])#so yeah they have a chat and Linda kind of gives Lewis the opposite dilemma in s3 that Louise gives him in s1 about science and magic #since SHE knows about the moon pool and has been biding her time and she knows Lewis knows and Lewis is like ah... uh oh.#it will eventually tie into the idea it's not about forcing science and magic together or separating them #its abt respectfully and responsibly utilizing both to see their fullest potential. which lewis learned in s2 and Linda has... not.#BUT #later on she gets a call from 1 (one) ryan who is like 'hey so i heard u did environmental studies on mako for dr bennett a couple years ag #and i was wondering if you've seen anything weird there as im currently doing a-' and she's immediately like 'YOU SON OF A BITCH IM IN'#and he's like 'wha-' and she's like 'i have already booked my plane tickets we're going to have a great time we have lots to talk about :)'#and wheeee now they have someone who knows about mermaids on their team and it's the perfect way to bring lewis back to relevancy in s3 :D #it also gives me reason to have two bad bitches (linda and sophie) meet and get to know each other which is not a dynamic ive seen in #any of the H2O fics i've ever read so im very hyped to delve into how they'll play off each other #also charlotte is there so technically three bad bitches (only in my au Charlotte never lost her tail and is part of the gang she just move #because she felt like she needed to leave to really be able to find herself without being in her grandmother's shadow but she comes back bc #well... it's season 3 mako is sounding the fucking emergency alarms everyone is showing up sdkghkfjhg)#im also so so so hyped to show u guys who's coming back in the s2 rewrite because it ISNT denman and i think everyone thinks it will be :3c #(i said she when telling ppl to look forward to a familiar face... but can u blame me for getting hype she's one of my favorite characters!#i love u H2O #cruddy rambles

Rewatching s4 and honestly i think it is my least favorite just because it has the lowest rewatch value for me. Besides the Benvi scenes in the last episode, Trent's proposal, and the scene where Fabiola is diffusing tension between Eleanor and Devi at the party, I don't feel the need to rewatch any of it. I know everyone hates on s2 but the plot was tight and it was hilarious plus it had way more Aneesa!

I agree, actually. Like I know this is not the point of the show but I feel like this season suffered so much by having Ben and Devi barely talk the entire FIRST HALF of the season. Like it just felt so off and weird.

They could have done the whole falling out WAY better!!! Like the fall out in season 2 was done very well actually. It just felt like they were making up drama to stall the endgame. Ben and Margot should have broken up in episode 1 or 2. There was no point to their relationship it was stupid.

I wish so bad that Ben and Devi became a couple after episode 5. They could have basically done the same things and gotten the same points across AND had Ben and Devi as a couple. Like it would have been so much better!!!!!!!! I’m mad about it. Like season 4 had such wonderful potential and I feel like they dropped the ball. Like they were hoping that having a strong finale would make up for the weak first half of the season.

I loved everyone’s storylines besides Ben and Devis. (In the romantic sense. I loved Devis individual storyline. Ben barely had a storyline so no comment there). Like I adore them and am SO HAPPY they got together but I just feel like it could have been done better. For time the first part of the season could have been slightly redeemed if THEY HAD FUCKING TALKED TO EACH OTHER ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!! They NEEDED that talk and I am so pissed we didn’t get one.

Also the love confession needed to be way more than just, “I love you”. I needed a whole ass speech from him.

Not at all relevant but where was all the John McEnroe narration???? Like I feel like he was barely there and that made me so sad.

love how the message of season 4 was that you have to have extremely good grades and have gone to parties to be able to successfully adjust to university

#nhie s4 spoilers #nhie s4 #nhie #never have i ever #nhie critical #if you had mediocre grades or were too uptight might as well not even bother going since you're apparently fucked #like. devi ben and fab all got into an ivy and seemed to be enjoying university and doing well right away #meanwhile we have eleanor who gets 1 rejection and gives up on furthering her education entirely (why didn't she think about film school??)#and paxton who worked So Hard to get into college only to immediately drop out just because his roommate was shitty #& blair who was an excellent student but partied too hard and failed out and tried to keep it a secret because it was 'kind of humiliating'#like. blair mentioned that she was burnt out but then it was almost immediately reframed as her having been 'too perfect' in high school #the only character who never planned to go to college was trent who was so bad at school he had to repeat his senior year #why weren't there any students who had done well at high school yet struggled academically even though they were genuinely trying?#or students who hadn't done super well in high school but then thrived in university when they had more freedom to choose their classes #where were the top students who didn't get into their first choice school? or knew that they didn't want to go to college at all?#obviously the show couldn't cover every possible permutation of how people decide whether to go to college and then how they adjust to it #but it's uhhh not great that the 3 'smartest' main characters were admitted into ivies and immediately thrived at university #while the 3 who struggled with school or prioritized non-academic interests either didn't try to go to college or gave up extremely fast #the show has always had moments where characters will be elitist but it seemed much more prominent & tied into the narrative this season #my post #my meta #tag ramble
