Bryce tapped her foot along to the melody, reading the expressions stealing across Nesta's face as the music played. Wonder and curiosity, joy and - longing.

I absolutely forgot that Rhys and Feyre discussed Elain in their BC!!!
Tumblr media
"With time and safety, perhaps we'll see a different side of her emerge"
"I also think we haven't yet seen all she has to offer"
SARAH'S PLANTING THE SEEDS FOR ELAIN'S BOOK!
Another thing that came to my mind (and I saw this is also a subject of discussion) is what if Elain was already on her journey when HOFAS happened (like we don't hear about her at all, can this be that she's already not present in the NC at that moment).
I mean this could make sense timeline-wise that she is in her Koschei arc with Lucien, while Nesta and Azriel meet Bryce to push the Dusk Court agenda forward.
What do you guys think?)

Had to share 🤣🤣🤣
Like, I hate fanon Elain so much that I need to go to canon text and calm myself bc it's not her fault that her delulu stans are deluluing
Tumblr media
Elain literally used it as a simple knife, stick them with the pointy end as Jon Snow would say, as Azriel used it all those years to kill and torture. She didn't use it as a Made object that's Bryce.
No, Gwyn doesn't kick a beast. She does one better, and she leads and unleashes one on Illyrians to save Nesta and Emerie. Because she's thrown in a situation despite her will, as opposed to Elain, who put herself in that position by following a Greysen vision. TY next
"Cosplay as valkyrie and being a backpack" = Gwyn is the one that introduces Nesta to the valkyrie story and concept, teaches all of them mind stilling, CUTS THE RIBBON FIRST, is ready to die side by side with her sister Nesta as the last valkyries did at the War, when they died all together instead of leaving anyone behind, so Nesta has to neutralize her bc she knew Gwyn would NEVER ABANDON HER.
For the people who cry "misogyny!" anytime anyone says something about Elain that doesn't fit their ship and agenda, they sure act the most misogynistic towards a SA victim who sacrificed herlsef to save children, who would sacrifice herself to not abandon her found family.

Anti's come up with so-called parallels of TOG where pairings weren't endgame but deny all the parallels Elriel has with canon pairings like Nessian (bonus ch. Similarities)
They only actually care about these parallels when it benefits them and the double standard is showing... just sayin
Genuinely speaking. What parallels does Gwynriel or Elucien even have to other couples? In any series?
The spark for gwynriel isn’t actually a parallel to “spark” being used between mates - I’ve already disproved that one. And there’s honestly nothing else to Gwynriel that parallels them to other couples, I know antis use the scene between Bryce and Hunt, how Hunt felt settled and calmed w Bryce just like Az felt w Gwyn but even Nesta felt calm after meeting with Gwyn. She has that affect on people,. In fact - I know I already mentioned this but Gwyn x Az parallels Nesta x Gwyn.
As for elucien…I literally cannot think of anything. They dont even have that enemies to lovers parallel bcs Elain doesn’t hate or show/feel any animosity towards Lucien. It’s literally plain disinterest which is worse.
Whereas w elriel there are so many, canon parallels. To ignore or “disprove” them just shows how antis are acting purposely oblivious…or delusional.
We already know antis nit pick the text to find whatever they can twist - by taking it out of context - to fit their anti elriel agenda. Some even use elriel quotes for their ships which is just plain embarrassing tbh. But thats what happens when you try to make a crackship happen.

Hi! Omg Loved the latest chapter of "but home is nowhere." I feel bad for our main character, to be called anothers womans name? ouch this poor girl can not catch a break! I'm usually a hardcore Az girlie but I'm honestly starting to root for Lucian, he seems to be the only one really that respects her and want her for her IMO. I think Ruhn is still hung up with what happened with Lidia and honestly this whole group needs some serious therapy. I'm really interested in seeing if this "break" from Ruhn will give more space for Azriel to become more a support for her. But I do have a questions. And really our main girl asks it in Chapter ten. "“One good deed doesn’t guarantee trust,” You quickly turned away from him, damning your stubborn pride. “Trust takes time. And why does everyone care so much about who sleeps next to me?” Of course, the male had no answer for that. " Like why do they all care who is in her bed, sexual or otherwise? Is it solely because she is human? Like Nesta slept around before she accepted her bond with Cass (no judgment, just fact) and Eline was all over Az (and him her) and Eline has yet to accept the bond so like what is the deal? I guess Rhys admits to this in the bonus chapter about having a "half breed" and how it would "harder" on the fae after she does, but like why is everyone in the IC just up in arms about it. Seems rather sus to me.
Anyways that's my question/rant lol great writing! As always looking forward to the next chapter
Tumblr media
Honestly, yes everyone in ACOTAR and Crescent City are in desperate need of therapy. Unfortunately, our girl is no therapist so she can't help on that professional level, but she is a good friend to those she cares for. Ruhn does have some processing to do if his and Reader's dynamic is to progress beyond the friendship they have now.
As far as why everyone is so preoccupied with her sleeping companions, the answer is complex. Most of the characters don't really care if she were to be promiscuous (which she isn't) as most of them have quite the high body counts themselves. Those that participated in the bet (Bryce, Nesta, and Amren), mainly just want to see those involved happy (Reader, Ruhn, Lucien, and Azriel). It is mainly Rhysand (and to a lesser extent Azriel) that have issues leading to their preoccupations with her sex life/sleeping companions.
Rhysand doesn't really care if Reader starts a relationship with Ruhn but does care if that relationship results in her leaving Prythian and then some shit going down. Rhys recognizes that Reader is in their world for a reason and is wary of what that reason could be. Rhysand also isn't concerned about Reader and Azriel as he just doesn't see that as an option at this time.
Rhysand does care if Reader were to start a relationship with Lucien. The main reason is that Lucien is a mated male. In addition to the Fae's belief that the mating bond is scared, Lucien is a beneficial ally for the Night Court to have. Lucien is only willing to even work with the Night Court because his mate is currently living there. Rhysand has already demonstrated that he doesn't want to lose Lucien (or anyone that Lucien is politically tied to) as an ally. So, ensuing that Lucien and Elain's mating bond is free to progress however it needs to, fits into Rhysand's personal agenda. He sees Lucien and Reader's relationship in much the same way that he sees Azriel and Elain's. Thus, if Rhysand says their relationship is an issue, it is only natural that his second and third in command would assist in making sure that it doesn't progress beyond a friendship. (Personally, neither Mor nor Amren really care, and wouldn't have interfered/commented if Rhysand hadn't instructed them to do so.)
Essentially, by appearing that he is worried about Reader's sleeping companions/relationships Rhysand can manipulate other aspects of the overall situation. It's all about him keeping control over a situation that he doesn't have any control over with the belief that it is for the good of his loved ones and his court.
Azriel's concerns and thus motivations for his preoccupation with Reader and her sleeping companions are different from Rhysand's. I won't go into too much detail here because they will be explored further in later chapters.
What I love about writing this story is the complexity of all the characters involved and their various motivations. There is so much beyond the romance aspect of this story that I have planned and I'm super excited to share that with you all in the next chapter!

I feel like Nesta is setting up the next story. I feel like the focus is still on her but it’s shifting to Azriel and that’s why sjm keeps connecting them. First with the acosf bonus chapter then with hofas . It’s like Nesta is passing on the torch to him by connecting his story to hers. I know people think Nesta might get another pov but I don’t think so, unless it’s a bonus chapter, I think she’s just setting the stage for the next book -Gwynriel if it is Azriel’s- and sjm is using her as a supporting role. I know a lot of people were unhappy with Nessian, but sarah told their story…the next couple of books focus on different couples.
Hello Anon,
I agree with everything you have said , I love that the bonus from HOFAS had the previous MC, present MC and Future MC in focus with Nesta, Bryce and Az.
I can't wait for the announcement so I can first say .... I told you so about the whole " Its about the archeron sisters " nonsense. It being Azriels book will automatically dismiss that agenda.
SJM hasn't ever said that it was about the sisters , the original Triologyis about Feysand and the spin offs about "other" characters .
All sjm said was she had more stories to tell , of all the side characters which would include Nesta and Elain .... But also Mor and Az .... this I have on a reel. I would like someone to show me proof of her ever saying the series follows the "sisters"
As far as NESTA , I do think we have enough proof her story isn't over. She will be involved with the trove , made weapons including Gwydion . Her presence will be akin to Feyre's in ACOSF. I also think we will know exactly what Nesta plans to do with the Valkyries.
All in all the next book is going to be very exciting between Illyrians, made weapons and Autumn with Beron making a deal with Koschei. Again, Koschei won't be defeated next book . Beron is the one who is going to meet his end . Beron is the Briallyn of the next book. I am excited to learn about Azriels past , his journey of growth and healing and him finding love with his mate ❤️ .

That’s a tough one. Aelin only considers people her friend if they kiss her ass. But danika kept sooooo much from her supposed sister and assaulted her too so… definitely Danika with Aelin second. Mor is the best one because she’s loyal to a literal T
For me:
Aelin is nasty to people until they're useful to her agenda like Lysandra or Ansel (I think she was also nasty to kaltain because of a boy)
Danika keeps so many secrets and tattoos a magical object onto bryce with no consent like their entire friendship was built on lies
Mor sticks her nose into cassian and nesta's relationship. she also doesn't tell her bestest friend Feyre that her baby will kill her because she's happy to keep the lie for Rhys even though he can blindside her by allowing Eris/Keir access to Velaris and her loyalty to him never wavers

First off thank you so much for prasing the fic, I'm deeply honoured and it means a lot to me ❤️
I agree with everything you've elaborated on. Sjm truly has a shit way of writing eating disorders and only uses it to further the romance plot and ignore the consequences entirely, I also think the fandom is heavily responsible for this.
Like I've seen fanarts of nesta with HUGE boobs and a tiny 0 some waist and it pisses me off sm like why are you sexualising her disorders ??? Same with feyre after UTM like please stop ✋️
And we really need to stop with the chiseled 6 foot man agenda because IT IS NOT IDEAL why are we glorifying toxic beauty standards ? THIS ISNT THE VICTORIAN TIMES FFS LET MEN HAVE TUMMIES AND FAT AND HAVE "SOFT BITS" ( fuck u casssian and sjm )
Also wouldn't azriel have an eating disorder because he was starved as a child and since having cassian as a friend he tries to stay "healthy" And keeps going back to unhealthy patterns of eating ? Like there's no way someone who seen sm darkness is able to have a healthy relationship with his body after being tortured and starved by his brothers. He would cope with this by developing unhealthy eating habits and binge eating due to fear of starvation.
Same with eris like that man was tortured by his father he would have sm body issues 😭 and when he feels stressed he would turn back to those patterns of abusing himself. Also what if beron starved his children and since eris was the eldest he was used to giving up his share to his brothers and pregnant mother and starving himself because he's self sacrificial? SJM DO BETTER FFS
Also like sjm is shit at being inclusive cause I remember reading somewhere that she hadn't described Bryce as curvy but the fandom ran with it and like ? That woman has very toxic views on how bodies should be like and has no plus size characters as far as I remember.
I won't ramble more because the above post has covered most of it but please write characters people can relate to and empathize with their struggles.
ACOTAR Discussion
Okay, so recently my mutual @sonics-atelier posted this fic Perfect To Me (which is so fucking amazing, I cried, go read it rn) and in this fic, they write about Tamlin developing an eating disorder (specifically anorexia) since his body changed after starting to get Spring back on its feet. And it started me down a whole rant about fictional characters being the pinnacle of beauty standards, specifically in relation to what they're bodies look like. So, to save my mutuals the long spam texts about my thoughts, I'm gonna post em here.
General trigger warning- Discussion of a variety of eating disorders, body dysphoria and Cassian.
SJM covers disordered eating within ACOTAR, it happens specifically to the female characters. And this is something, I have a huge problem with. That might seem like a massive asshole sentence, but let me explain my thought process.
These eating disorders are not well respresented, they do not further affect the plot, they only serve to be an outward appearance to the male saviour characters that something is wrong, and they never appear on the female characters in a way that makes them any less pretty, in fact, I would say, the resulting skinniness from said disordered eating, is the desired result. By that I mean, yes I think SJM writes her female characters starving themselves to make them fit the female beauty standard.
This is very evident with Nesta, who somehow miraculously only grows thinner in the waist and hips when she is starving herself. But still has massive breasts which Cassian makes a point of oogling, despite noticing how thin she is everywhere else. Instead of taking Nesta's not wanting to eat anything and turning it into a plot point for her character in which she learns to take care of and eventually love her new Fae body, SJM decides to further starve Nesta, but Cassian limiting her sugar intake, so she reminds the same 000 size in the waist.
Now, onto what really, truly makes me angry within SJM's series. Character's gaining weight, rather than losing it.
This happens once in the series. It is one singular comment, that put me off Cassian forever.
"You need to get out in the practice ring, brother. Don't want your mate to find any soft bits."
This comment was from Cassian to Rhysand in the third chapter of ACOSF, after looking Rhys up and down pretty much.
May seem like a harmless jab to a lot of people, but take into account all of the context around it.
Cassian had just been eyeing Nesta's body-clearly suffering from the effects of long-term starvation, like a hunk of meat.
They had just won a war not long ago-still coming down from the stress highs that would have no doubt been enough to put any normal person in bed for a month.
Rhysand had only recently found out about Feyre's pregnancy, if I remember correctly-would have also found out about the risks, and would be dealing the extreme stress that would be causing.
It would be incredibly normal for Rhysand to gain weight because of all these factors. Not to mention this being the first (and I'm fairly certain) only time, SJM's mentions a male character gaining weight, and it being in such a negative light, could only suggest she, and thus Cassian, find the idea unappealing or perhaps downright abhorrent.
Which really fucking pisses me off.
Most of her female characters have experienced a form of anorexia throughout the books as a trauma or stress response. And it never exists to go further than making them more conventionally attractive.
Now further on her male characters, not a single one of them ever has an ounce of fat on their body. Weight gain is entirely out of the question, even when it should be the obvious occurrence due to whatever change in their situation.
Now this also brings me to another problem I have, which also leeches into fandom behaviour.
We all love Tamlin's tits, ofc, ofc, but muscle behaves like fat if its not being actively flexed. Tamlin's pectoral muscles are no doubt incredibly strong, and would, probably be able to crack a nut (no pun intended) if flexed. But if they werent, they would be soft and squishy. No one talks about THAT THOUGH DO YOU???
Not to mention, that, Tamlin is a beast creature, wandering the forests, not training or exercising properly, and is only gouging on the carcasses of animals he kills. This could be an excellent time to lean into weight gain, and the intense feelings of guilt, and body dysphoria that it brings.
Lets also discuss Gwyn, a traumatised young woman who fled to the Library in order to live a life of peace. She has never trained a day in her life before becoming a Valkyrie, why is she so skinny?
It's never mentioned Gwyn having any kind of reaction to her trauma that affects her eating (as far as I remember) and I think it would be far more interesting to delve into the effects grief and the lose of a dear loved one has on the body and ones eating habits.
Lets talk about Elain, who is said to use baking a coping mechanism, why is she skinny? This is the perfect opportunity to delve into a character binge eating, then extreme guilt from the times where they were in poverty, and purging. But finding comfort in food because food = wealth, wealth =safety.
And in the end, a character can be fat and be happy. Why do we have so many characters that are so thin at the end of their books?
So many of these characters also have near no stability, their diet would not doubt be changing constantly from the inconsistency in their living situations. Which should to lead to drastic changes in their body. This could be a very interesting way to explore body dysphoria. Hating seeing yourself in the mirror even if you just survived battle, because you can hardly recognise yourself. Changing so much in the mind and not even having the comfort of your body being the same. Especially with Nesta and Elain being Made against their will. I honestly believe Nesta's starvation should have been her hating her new Fae body so much that she just wants to destroy it. Her healing, should have been learning to love herself, no matter what body she is in.
In the end, your body is you, but you are more than your body. Bodies are such incredibly fascinating tool, and people don't always have to like what it looks like to care for it. Bodies can be smaller, bigger, stronger, they take your brain wherever it wants to go. But they are not all of you. And that should have been what especially Nesta's journey could have been.
Anyway, this is incredibly sensitive topic for a lot of people, so I do really want to open this up to everyone. What are your thoughts on this topic? Do you think SJM's portrayal of eating disorders is justified, or do you think I'm wrong on any of these points? Let me know in either the comments or the reblogs, I would be happy to discuss it.

6 atores que foram substituídos em filmes | Desencaixados
Tumblr media
3. Victor Creed, em X-Men Origens: Wolverine
Tumblr media
4. Lince Negra, em X-Men: O Confronto Final
Nesta produção, a personagem começou a ganhar destaque.

WE’RE BACK FAM! (She says to herself)
171. Honestly 10/10 to that little friendship between Hypaxia and Ithan. We love to see it.
172. Page 601 and I get my first Fury appearance. The fact that she was established as one of the most badass characters in this series and yet she only appears until now 💀💀 but tbf she was also established as one of the most like… not selfish… but very much with her own agenda… so like it makes sense that she dipped when she dippes.
173. Say what you will but Ember Quinlan is clearly a latina mom.
174. To me it is very wholesome that Baxian will have June and Fury too to talk about Danika, with Bryce and Ithan all the people that loved her best and remain will be together… and idk man that is how you live even when you are gone. That is how you move on too.
175. If Ithan goes to the Den carrying Danika’s sword I will cry.
176. I still find the character of Sigrid fucking useless… there should have been a better way for Ithan to rise to his power.
177. That old prime woke up served cunt (named Ithan his heir) and bounced. Forever my respects!
178. And apparently by “bounced” I meant… gets murdered by his *deep sigh* daughter. Sabine is the Cancer in this story.
179. Omg Ithan broke the sword!!!!!!! and i do think danika and the devil’s pack would have approved of this. I never once doubted you my love Ithan!
180. But also like wtf Sigrid eating her grandfather’s soul… like. Girl.
181. Sarah knows this blonde woman knows I will tear up at the mention of Connor… of Connor howling for his brother all the way from death. Somebody sedate me.
182. Ruhn’s “this is my first mission with my girlfriend. I want to impress her.” Let me just die single and alone.
183. NOT BRYCE OPENING A PORTAL TO NESTA’S LIVING ROOM JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJ we truly said “no♥️” to privacy.
184. Considering she’s barely up to my chest, I don’t think she’d made much of a shield” LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Me when I was dating that dude who was a head smaller than I am.
185. Sathia owning to this meeting. Go off queen.
186. Ay mk I’m sorry but the River Queen’s daughter causing a scene because Tharion married someoen else… girl! AMIGA DATE CUENTA (Friend wake up but sassier in a latina kind of way) HE WASN’T GOING TO MARRY YOU! IT HAD BEEN A DECADE. I mean have some dignity I am begging.
187. Bryce telling Nesta she did outsmart them. Well you were an asshole and then bounced… that is not outsmarting.
188. NOT BRYCE SAYING I BROUGHT COLATERALL AND THEN USHERING HER PARENTS FORWARD. I - JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA. The undignity of it all. But I mean sweet.
189. Mk, no… Nesta bby, yo sé que Rhysand will give you hell, pero nada, amiga, CORAZÓN DE ORO. I stand by you.
190. Bryce closing the portal just as Rhys’ darkness appears. I love my husband ok? I love his theatrics! I love how everywhere he goes he MUST™️ MAKE™️ AN™️ ENTRANCE™️
191. The queen’s daughter saying she will marry Tharion after all this if he is alive and divorces Sathia… girl. Dignity. Have you heard of this concept? Have you no friends to tell you to GIVE IT THE FUCK UP? Even your mother is fucking embarrassed.
192. Celestina fancy seeing you here you doubled faced bitch.
193. Pollux has taken her sons?? CAN’T A WOMAN CATCHI A FUCKING BREAK?!
194. Hunt breaking free of his own halo
Tumblr media
THAT’S MY MAAAAAAAAAN SHOW’EM KING
195. Hunt sassying Celestia.. go off King. You are in your right to do so :)
196. Another point for Bryce for helping Hunt through his rage… but girl when is this perspective for you and your selfish half backed actions?!
197. i can oh so vibrantly hear Bryce say to Aidas “Welcome to Midgard. Hope you have a pleasant stay.” And i love it. Ngl she was infuriating up until the got to Avallen and things started to improve with the “raise your hand who is disowned” moment.
