Can you do Nerevar hcs??? Both sfw and nsfw if it’s ok
You bet !
Super sorry if this seems OOC, i'm kinda just using my own hcs 🧍♀️
Nerevar hcs !!
For gn reader (unless specified)
••||Sfw||••
- Nerevar is a very chaotic person, always dragging you into things you hardly have knowledge about.
- he had a hard time expressing his feelings towards you when he developed a crush, so the way he tries to show you his feelings is through gifts and poems Vehk definitely didn't help him write.
- he isn't a super jealous person or anything, but if he sees someone obviously trying to flirt with you he'll pop up with an arm on your side and be like "oh hey LOVE who's this?" And he'll make sure to glance at the person as he speaks to you
- After he comes back from whatever quest he and his friends had to do. He'll immediately run over to you and embrace you as if he expected to never see you again
- He's also super touchy, his hands always either resting in yours or on your side. He acts like he's going to explode if he doesn't hold your hand
- He's a loud romantic, very public too. He's the type to stand out of your window and throw rocks until you finally open it
- his kisses are very tender and sweet, he usually ends up dipping you whether you're taller or not. Meanwhile Voryn and the rest of the gang are like 🧍♂️🧍♀️🧍♂️🧍♂️
- if he could he'd lay in bed with you forever, his fingers tracing whatever his eye catches. Scars, tattoos, curves etc
- he'd carry you, you don't even need to ask! He'll just casually scoop you up and run off. What? Were you doing something important? Darn too bad
- he probably annoys the shit out of his friends when he talks about you cause he.doesn't.stop. he will go on a whole rant about how much he likes you before and after getting with you. Insert Ayem eye twitch
- very fidgety person I would imagine, his hands have to be doing something. So besides the hand holding and stuff he'll play with your hair (if you have any) or have his fingers mess with yours
- He won't let you come on quests with him, he's a little over protective especially if you hardly know how to wield a blade or use any magic. Hell even IF you know how to do that stuff he's still gonna be like "yeaahhh no"
- he loves calling you different lil nicknames, like 'love' or 'darling' and if you ever marry him he'll call you his queen/king
••||NSFW||••
- Body worship..oh for him? No. It'll probably be a shocker since he's y'know but he will worship every part of you as if Azura made you from the stars themselves. Bonus points if you don't like something about yourself, prepare to hear how that part of you is perfect in everyway with little kisses there
- again very touchy in bed too, very gentle though with his touches (unless you ask for him to be a little more rough) his touches are also a bit teasing sometimes. Which he'll laugh off when you give him the look
- love bites. Of course he gives love bites and he puts them in spots where everyone will see (and some in places where they won't ever see them). His favorite places to leave them so far are on your chest/breasts, your neck, and your inner thigh
- chest man, doesn't matter how flat you are or what body you were born in. He loves your chest, he'll come up behind you on occasion (in the privacy of either his room or yours) and slink his hands to them giving a playful squeeze while he's at it
- He loves having you in his lap, sure it'll start off normal at first. You just sitting there as his hand travels up your side, then YOU will be the one to shift a bit teasing him. He won't say anything though just give your side a squeeze as he lets you continue.
- his favorite position is your back against his, the two of you resting on your knees with his head in the crook of your neck. Of course he might trail some love bites down your back
- i imagine him as a switch so he doesn't take charge all the time, if you want to lead he certainly won't mind. Praise him he really enjoys it
- He's not the type of person to do 'it' just anywhere, he really only prefers his room, your room or if you're out in the wilds his tent
- doesn't really like doing quickies but he can do them, he prefers the moment to be more passionate and to take his time. But if you're both really needing to 'let loose' he might indulge
- he doesn't make many kinks, i really only imagine him with a praising or a body worship one. He's open though to any you might have and he'll definitely voice if he likes them or not
That's all! I hope you enjoyed
And i apologize for the nsfw bit if it's lacking, i am still slightly new to writing nsfw LOL
Requests are always open! See ya!

Hey!
I hope you are feeling good.
I read a lot of your works, and i love them, THEY ARE FABULOUS!!!
I hope to not bother or annoy you by making my request (in case forgive me, it wasn't my intention).
Could you write Reader x Elves? about how the elves would react to their s / o that due to this tremendous heat, they continue to feel bad/ill (literally these temperatures leading me to exhaustion ).
Thank you for everything, and i wish to you a nice day .
(Forgive me for my poor English, it isn't my first language).
Sotha Sil immediately takes notice of the fact they are visibly dizzy. Has water fetched for them as he goes to tweak his creation so it's just abit cooler. "I'll alter today's weather, you seem ill." He hides his concerned gaze
Vivec probably also hates the days where the warm heat in Vvardenfell turns too hot for even his tastes. Sometimes it's bearable, other times its not. Notices their disorientation and has someone get them water and shade quickly. He's seen people pass out before...it's...frightening. "a little steamy today wouldn't you say?"
Almalexia is usually in the shade but when she's out in the sun she'll sometimes fan herself or her partner when they both feel hot. Also water. Drink water. No they don't get a choice. "Drink. Don't give me that look."
Voryn Dagoth grew used to the heat. But is really in tune with catching those who aren't. If they are teetering on the edge of passing out he will convince them to lie down and have a glass of water at their bedside.
Mannimarco can't feel the heat and it takes him a surprising amount of time to catch on that they don't feel good. Even if he doesn't really get hot himself all that much. He'll gladly feign relief to go indoors if it makes them feel better. "Hmph."
Neloth finds that the tower is usually cooler due to the walls taking in water from the ground but he immediately feels the change when he steps out in the sun. Complains till both he and his partner can get indoors. Sadly they're both terrible at dealing with it. "By malacath it's HOT."
Divayth Fyr isn't usually bothered by the heat himself because he's had SO long to get used to it. But he's smart enough to know they aren't. So he makes sure they drink water and nudges them to sit down when they don't feel well. "Sit down. Oh please they don't care what you do."
Ondolemar hates being in Markarth in the summer but being in the keep usually helps him..they don't have that luck unfortunately. So when they arrive back eyes fluttering and skin red he's immediately tense and ready to catch them when they fall. Barks at the poor chef to get them water. "Go, you imbecile, water!"
Indoril Nerevar is usually used to it but when it gets real bad even he's somewhat light headed. He gets them water himself and will even idly wave a fan at them to help them cool off. He can't change the weather but he can most certainly try to help.
Vanus Galerion is leaning on them also. They both can't stand the hot temperature with no breeze. when they both get to shade and water he drops to his knees in relief. "By the GODS." Has them drink and lie on their back till they feel better.
Teldryn Sero feels for them. Truly. He had years to get used to it especially when wearing so much armor. Tosses his canteen to them and subtlety pushes them into places where it's gonna be cooler. What do you mean? He's not worried.

Explaining the Iceberg #4
I covered most things in this, but not everything. Every previous post I’ve made describing the tes iceberg I found on google image search can be found here x
Lorkhan’s purposeful failure: Lorkhan was the first spirit to go beyond the universe to see the tower, but didn’t achieve CHIM. He likely did this on purpose to show others how not to do it, and to demonstrate that it was difficult for et’ada to achieve this state because they simply don’t have the boundaries (such as death) that mortals do.
The World-Egg: The universe and the 12 previous Kalpas, everything within existence
The Khajiit Tower: this reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/teslore/comments/3oh7wf/the_khajiit_tower/ for everyone’s sake i’ll spare you the details of Jungian psychology, TL;DR the khajiit are a ‘tower’ made to hold up the universe and aspects of this
The Grabbers: Mentioned in the 36 lessons, a race of people in Lyg who are said to ‘have never built a city of their own’ there are theories that these are in fact Magne-Ge, due to their connection to Lyg by Mehrunes Dagon
AE: ‘is’ in ehlnofex, can be interpreted as a state of being
Shezzar became Akatosh: The only solid reference i could find was this thread, that immediately discusses how this is probably incorrect http://www.gamesas.com/could-lorkhan-have-jyggalag-t74581-25.html
The Monkey-Truth: Markuth’s teachings, also a website of tes fanfiction writers and roleplayers
Red Moment: The potential Dragon Break at Red Mountain
The Provisional House: Mentioned in the 36 Lessons, called ‘a space that is not a space’ that Vivec observes the events of Nirn from. It may possibly protect Vivec from dangers associated with this.
Alandro Sul: The Shield-Companion to Nerevar. Sometimes called ‘the immortal-son of Azura’. After being blinded by Wulfharth, he went to live with the Ashlanders of Vvardenfell and is credited with spreading the idea that the Tribunal killed Nerevar
CHIM: To put simply, the process and state where a person realizes their place within the universe and is able to manipulate the laws of the universe as they see fit. Often associated with the concept of ‘Love’
Skaal Secrets: Discussed in the Dragonborn DLC, it’s unknown what their secrets are, but the Skaal report that they’ve kept them a secret from Hermaeus Mora for generations
The World’s Teeth: Mentioned in the 36 lessons of Vivec, sermon 17. Vivec takes Nerevar to the edge of the world, where they see ‘the bottom row of the world’s teeth’ as Vivec states. This may possibly reference a glitch in Redguard. (as a side note: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, a game that’s confirmed to have taken inspiration from the Elder Scrolls, has an area on the map, near the edge of the world with a row of spikes similar to what’s described here. This might be just coincidence, but I sure enjoy it)
Dagoth Ur’s Endgame: Speculation on what Dagoth Ur’s final plans actually are. He speaks of his desire to remove the Empire from Morrowind, and unite the Dunmer under the 6th House, but beyond that there’s little to go off of. Ultimately this is just speculation and theories, mostly on what he plans to do with the Anumidium, and how that could possibly have adverse affects on reality.
Pelinal Cyborg from the Future: Another bit of obscure MK lore that’s not implemented in-game. This derives from the description of Pelinal having a ‘left hand made of a killing light ‘PELIN-EL [which is] "The Star-Made Knight" [and he] was arrayed in armor [from the future time].’ and his survival of being decapitated. While the text directly states he is from the future, there’s no ingame canon text stating he is a cyborg.
Reymon Ebonarm is Reman: The thought that Ebonarm, a God of War is the same person as Reman, emperor of Cyrodiil. There’s several theories dedicated to this, with different variants on the specifics.
The Enantiomorph: Directly tied to the concept of mantling and the Fourth Walking Way. Put simply, there are three participants in this. Two combatants who are very much alike and trying to become the ‘Ruling King’ and an observer who determines who wins, this observer usually becomes maimed as a result of this.
The Third Moon: Two different things, a metaphorical or literal secret moon important to the Khajiit that only appears when Masser and Secunda are aligned, preceding the birth of a Mane. The second option is the Necromancer’s Moon, the godly form of Mannimarco.
The Walkabout: A concept in Yokudan religion. The process of spirits surviving one Kalpa to the next, facilitated by Tall Papa
White-Gold Doomsday device: I remember reading this theory a few years back, unfortunately I cannot find the exact page for the life of me. The Tl;DR on this is the White-Gold Tower is a weapon of mass destruction, either literally or in metaphysical terms (being connected to Akatosh and it’s status as a Tower). The closest thing I can find to it is this thread which describes the motives of Umbra in the novels, and how it could potentially take over Tamriel using the White-Gold Tower http://www.gamesas.com/doomsday-scenario-t69430.html
Jiub was the Nerevarine: Self explanatory, headcanon that Jiub was the Nerevarine, similar to a headcanon on tumblr that stated Teldryn Sero was the Nerevarine
House Dwemer: Mentioned as a House within The War of the First Council (which is written by an Imperial for Western Scholars) and The Lost Prophecy (written by a Dunmer) This could be interpreted in a couple different ways. A) The first book was certainly written for western readers, while there is no evidence for this being the case for the latter, it can’t be ruled out. ‘House’ is used as a simplification B) The Dwemer were considered a house, but perhaps not in the way we would initially think (being on the Great House Council) They were grouped into a singular entity, rather than distinct clans within a cultural group (either during the First Council or posthumously)
When Dead Gods Dream: https://www.imperial-library.info/content/when-dead-gods-dream referencing this thread. Discusses the mechanisms of Dagoth Ur’s godhood, the thread explains it better than I can here, TL;DR Dagoth Ur is not alive, but he is within the realms of gods and therefor is able to ‘project’ himself onto Tamriel and the minds of his followers.
Khajiit ended the Metheric Era: Nothing found for this
Parabolic Kalpa: A parabola is a symmetrical U-shaped curve. This theory essentially tries to explain why Skyrim is so low magic, compared to it’s history or even ESO. The thought is that as time goes on, the world becomes less connected to Divinity. Towers are destroyed and the gods are gone, but eventually things will begin to kick off again, and there will be a rise in magic, technology and the connection to these beings. Essentially tries to explain why C0da and Loveletter from the 5th era are more high magic compared to the actual games.
Sithis: Secret Lesson from Vivec: Connects the both Sithis with the 36 lessons by terminology (The Sharmat, false dreamer ect.) and proposes Vivec may have written the book
Bendu Olo: Colovian King, may have been related to Olaj Olo, nordic demigod of mead. Also used as a placeholder name for the player character in Oblivion and the name of the dev’s test character in Skyrim
Trinimac still lives: An ESO lorebook states the Ashpit, realm of Malacath, extends into Aetherius. Some orcs also believe Malacath is nothing more than a demon presenting himself as the remnants of Trinimac. A r/teslore theory states that Malacath wears two faces. While I assume this is the Iceberg author’s sole reference, I propose this could (should) refer to another theory. (Another theory is similar to this on teslore, proposed around the same time, but this one connects the dots) https://boethiah.tumblr.com/post/621058598373588993/tsun-is-the-shield-brother-of-shor-and-trinimac
The Aedra are Dead: Seemingly a common topic on teslore. A basic concept in tes, the Aedra gave most of their powers to Mundus to stabilize it. Their bodies remain as planets, and they can only have limited interactions with Nirn.
Divayth Fyr was the Hero of Battlespire: An old theory that looks at artifacts in Divayth Fyr’s possession and ties them back to the tes spinoff Battlespire. There are holes in this theory (Divayth Fyr was a seasoned mage at the time the hero was an apprentice)
Three Talin’s: The default name given to the Eternal Champion is Talin, a character creation scenario proposes that their father was also named Talin, and finally Uriel Septim VII’s general was named Talin Warhaft.
Pelagius I was killed by the Underking: The Arcturian Heresy states that the Underking appeared as an advisor to Pelagius I, who was assassinated by the Dark Brotherhood. This theory is a possibility considering the amminosity between Tiber Septim and both components of the Underking.
Tsaesci Goa’uld: Goa’uld are a species from Stargate that are parasites towards humans. This theory proposes that the Tsaesci are similar, explaining the inconsistencies of their appearance within the lore.
Lunar currency: The thought that the Aedra and Daedra use mortal souls like currency
Historic Star Inconsistencies: Possibly referring to the variations of the number of days within the year in Arena, not sure about this one
Mnemoli/Star Orphans:Mnemoli is either a specific Magne-Ge (spirits that fled the creation of Mundus after Magnus), or a group of them that only appears during a Dragon Break (often nicknamed the ‘Blue Star’) MK states that they’re the writers and distributors of the physical Elder Scrolls (however this contradicts ingame books, so take it with a grain of salt). Star Orphans may or may not refer to Magne-Ge as a whole. Vehk’s book of hours state's them as a ‘group or tribe’ regardless, Mnemoli falls under this secondary classification (along with Merid-Nuda and Xero-Lyg, I have my own thoughts on this which would be better explained in another post)
Bosmer Hircine worship: Seemingly referring to a thread on 4pleb, I will not be summarizing this theory here because I’m smart and not going onto 4pleb of all places. But from canon content, Bosmer do not worship Hircine, and consider him a force that goes against Y’ffre and wants to return everything to it’s original state of chaos before the earthbones (Y’ffre being among them) stabilized things
Septimus Signus Zero Sum: The theory that the aforementioned zero-summed at the end of Discerning the Transmundane in Skyrim. Essentially Septimus is in a fragile state, delving into the secrets of the universe and is being pushed by Hermaeus Mora, who may see him as a lab rat, into discovering things he isn’t meant to handle as a mortal, and consequently Zero-Sums. There’s holes in this, namely Zero-Summing supposedly removes all trace of existence.
The Soft Doctrines of Magnus Invisible: A very obscure text by Douglas Goodall, discusses the binding of various gods
Abnegaurbic creed: An overly fancy word basically meaning religious beliefs, seen in Nu-Hattia Exerpt
Dunmereth: A Nordic term for the area of Morrowind, during their occupation of it
Fifteen-and-One Golden Tones: A Dwemer term, possibly referring to the spheres of the Daedra, counting Sheo/Jyggalag as a singular entity. Also, the Dwemer swear by these
Ideal Masters are God of Worms remnants: As Mannimarco is often said to be the first Lich, the existence of the ideal masters seems to contradict this (similar story with Azidal) this tries to rectify this by proposing that the Soul Carin is the Necromancer’s Moon, and the ideal masters are remnants of Mannimarco. This theory doesn’t hold up when examined, but is cool nonetheless.
Sermon 37: Found in ESO, an extra sermon to the 36 lessons, ties in concepts present in c0da like amaranth. (interestingly on this list Sermon Zero is never mentioned, despite it being older and more interesting imo, but to discuss that would require lots of work)
Flying Whales: Mentioned in Aldudagga. A now extinct species. The bone bridge of Sovngarde could potentially be a reference to this.
Joy-Snow: It’s cocaine
Mankar=Tharn: A theory that Mankar Cameron is Jagar Tharn, doesn’t hold much weight and relies mostly on the connection of Mehrunes Dagon
Sharmat: A term used to describe Dagoth Ur, an opposite to the Hortator, a force uniting people for evil. Implied to mean or be associated with ‘the False Dreamer’ a person whose view of the universe is similar to someone whose achieved CHIM, but sees themself as the center of it all, rather than a droplet in the ocean of the universe.
Pankratosword: A forbidden Yokudan sword technique that could ‘cut atoms’ similar to our modern day Nuclear Fission. A bit of etymology here, ‘Pankrato’ seems to refer to the word ‘Pankrator’ meaning all-powerful or almighty.
Landfall: A concept from MK, a future event where Nirn is destroyed by the Numidium, and the people remaining relocate to the moons.
Cylarne: The oldest ruin in the Shivering Isles, rumored to be the original capital. Home to the Cold Flame of Agnon

Nintendo’s Xenoblade Chronicles X and Carl Sagan’s Contact study the fireplace in rapt attention.
Drink of Choice: Watered down instant coffee that turns out to be flavored hot chocolate
As far as science fiction goes, no one can doubt the foundational text that is Carl Sagan’s Contact (1985). As the title suggests, the novel focuses on the overarching issue in most all alien narratives - meeting an Other. Self and Other are traditionally dramatized and further separated into a binary in science fiction - but Contact instead blurs the lines to reveal that our differences are fabrications we performatively state into existence. In a similar fashion, Xenoblade Chronicles X (2015) plays on the player’s unawareness of the narrative’s context. Suspension of disbelief is used against the player in order to break traditional views of Self and Other, just as Contact utilizes scientific logic against methodical readers to underscore the unknown of space and existence.
Is “contact” between a Self and Other defined as a mutually recognized, mutually acknowledged social encounter, or can it be:
✨a biological encounter?
✨recognized only by one party?
✨between robots or non-conscious technologies and humans?
✨between humans/humanoid aliens and an organic source (a planet)?
When we categorize contact in colonial and science fiction narratives we almost always seek to find a distinct difference between the protagonist and the “alien”. Normally, this difference begins as a physical, visible one. Because one can look different but culturally, morally, be similar to us, the event of “contact” can be the only real indication of non-visible similarity or difference. The meeting between the alien and the human provides tools to help distinguish where the line truly lies.
Xenoblade Chronicles X (2015) is a Japanese Role-Playing Game (JRPG) from the Xeno series. Xenoblade Chronicles X is a spin-off title from Xenoblade Chronicles. There are no narrative connections aside from themes of singularity, colonization, faith, and precursor technology. A war between two alien species has caused the decimation of Earth.
Humanity creates large spaceships (arks) with resources and humans on board with the help of an unknown alien. Only a few survive. Xenoblade Chronicles X focuses on the ark The White Whale that crash lands on the uncharted planet Mira. We find that the humans are descendants from the Samaarians (one of two groups in an ancient alien feud), thus why the Ganglion (the second group) have sought to destroy their original planet.
Contact has similar themes like faith and colonization, but ultimately it’s a book about preparing for the event of contact between Self and Other. Main character and genius Ellie is the director of a radiotelescope called “Project Argus”. The project exists to search for and prove the existence of extraterrestrial life. Upon finding and decoding a signal, Ellie and a slew of other researchers/countries race against one another to build the blueprints found inside the transmission. Most of the book is about the process rather than the result.
Taking these two narratives into consideration, it becomes apparent that the science fiction plots actually masquerade a more base and primal fear - fear of the unknown. Both protagonists suffer from not knowing themselves fully, and both protagonists’ populaces are unsure about their purpose for being nor how they came to be. Xenoblade Chronicles X further aggravates this variable by revealing that the people of New Los Angeles are human consciousnesses within robot bodies called Mimeosomes. To get to this event, the player witnesses his/her arm being cut off to reveal wires and metal.
The protagonist is as shocked as the player would be. In this way, the line between Self and Other considerably blurs and confuses the player. In similar fashion, upon finally meeting the aliens on Vega, Contact’s Ellie and her team of scientists are surprised to find the aliens have disguised themselves. They chose the physical form of people the team has known and passed away. Ellie speaks with her dead father, with whom she has mourned for most of the novel. Instead of finding difference between themselves and the Aliens, Contact showcases a capacity for connection. The binary becomes loose, amorphous, and ceases to be a binary at all.
As scary as space is, so too is death. Both are the most talked about and feared unknowns. In a post-credits scene, a team led by Elma in Xenoblade Chronicles X enter The Lifehold (a place where the databases containing the populace’s memories reside in), and they find that the databases have been destroyed since the White Whale crashed on their Mira. As this means everyone in New L.A. should be dead and long gone - their mimeosomes inoperable - Elma speculates that somehow Mira is preserving them. In this narrative, escaping death becomes just as terrifying as dying. A black screen at the end of the game reads:
This vague message ends the game, which implies a direct sequel (never made) or an impossibility of the narrative having a complete ending. Tetsuya Takahashi, a main creator of the Xenoblade series, says he developed Chronicles X as a side game in order to create something that focuses on the Unknown. Hence “X” in the title. Xenoblade Chronicles X is a game that keeps both players and characters in the dark. The narrative plot constantly shifts in directions that are unanticipated. Like Contact, the progenitor race is ignorant to larger, older forces. Elma’s shock in the last cutscene shows her own shortcomings and those of her ancient race. The very concept of contact is upset and inverted in this game’s narrative, challenging players to redefine the “human” and the “alien”. Contact occurs in Xenoblade Chronicles X’s narrative despite humans, BLADE, Elma, or the player not knowing it. It occurs in Carl Sagan’s novel between disguised aliens and confused humans, who become frustrated with not really knowing nor meeting the alien race.
🌠Does contact have to be a mutually acknowledged, social event from two humanoid parties, or can it take form in other ways with non-humanoid beings?
🌠If humans fundamentally change, take the mimeosome format, does this change the nature of the human, and therefore the nature of human contact? Would Self and Other as defined in our time alter accordingly?
“🌠This story is never ending” - Are stories of contact never-ending? Does meeting an alien species, like the Ganglion, only lead to meeting another, and another, and another?
🌠Is there a contact to end all contacts, or like we see in the after-credits sequence of Xenoblade Chronicles X, is there always something that will be unknown?

✧☽• Sweet Nerevar •☾✧
In this YOU are Nerevar, no specified race or gender, may differ away from canon a bit sorry
Based off of the wedding dream
Past romance - slight Angst - slightly Long
Tw: death, panic attack
It had been a couple weeks since you stepped off that boat, something drew you here. Before you had been working as a merchant in Cyrodiil, business had been slow for the past few months but your boss assured you everything would be okay. But then he passed, an illness overtook your boss's body and he slowly withered away before your very eyes. It had taken a few months before he was bed bound, his nord wife sitting by his side holding his hand as she wept. You still remember walking into the room and glancing at your mentor, your boss, and your friend as he wheezed before going into a coughing spell.
You stood right next to your boss's wife laying a comforting hand on her shoulder. They were both elderly, so you knew it would eventually happen but it still hurt nonetheless. There you stood comforting an elderly nord whose once blonde hair had turned grey at the root, whose face had wrinkled with time and whose eyes looked tired. 'Y/n..' A faint call from a dying Nord, his hair was completely grey along with his beard that had a few braids in it. His eyes looked tired as he stared up at you, you held it all in wanting to remain strong for your friend 'Sovengard awaits me..my friend' he said weakly. You regret not saying more in your short time with him, you regretted not thanking him for the years of mentoring. "I'm sorry bos-" he interrupted you "I'm not your boss anymore, right now I'm your friend" his wife had let go of his hand and now his boney scar covered hand reached out to you. He gave you a thankful look, a smile on his face till the very end. He used the strength he could to squeeze your hand in a comforting way, then he looked to his wife exchanging lovely words and promises to find each other again.
It had been a couple months since then and it still hurt to not see him, to not hear his advice. You were sat in an inn drinking a cup of mazte, glancing at the hand that held your cup a small glimmer of light. A ring of a moon and a star, you had slowly tried to accept your supposed fate. You were the Nerevar, a legend and to some a god. Azura had led you here, you had no recollection of this past life, no memory of Indoril Nerevar but yet you were him and he was you.
Ever since you got that ring from Azura you began to have weirdly cryptic dreams, dreams that made you want to stay awake. They made you feel as if you weren't really yourself, question if you were truly Y/N or Indoril. Dreams of a masked dunmer with three red eyes and long disheveled black hair. He felt so familiar but still like a stranger at the same time, you knew he was from your past but didn't know what as. Or maybe he was simply toying with you, making you confused and manipulating you into thinking he was someone.
You were torn away from your thoughts by a tap on your shoulder, blinking you looked behind you towards a dunmer woman "it's quite late will you be needing a room?" You nodded taking out ten gold, you already knew where the room was you had been staying here for the past three days sorting through your mind. You groggily walked to the small room before closing the door, a window sat near your bed giving you a good look at the stars outside. You laid on the worn bed, you didn't want to sleep but you had to. You couldn't run on matze, bread and cheese after all, you laid on your side bringing the scratchy blanket up to your shoulder curling up as you began to drift off. You prayed silently that your dreams would be normal for once.
It was dark for a moment before a light, a brazier near a pillar had lit up beautiful red flames appeared. Then the one across from it lit up, they continued to light up until you could see your surroundings. A long aisle with a red rug down it, small beautiful intricate designs were on it along with a golden lining. Pews lined up near pillars and down the aisle sat an altar, almost like you were at some temple. You tried to speak but no noise came out, you touched your throat trying again to speak to ask where you were, what was happening. You knew he controlled these dreams and you just wanted answers for these dreams. You looked around and began to notice little red lights fading in, as you squinted at them you could make out silhouettes of unrecognizable people. Their bodies all looked to be covered in ash and their eyes bled with a glowing red.
You tried to move but your feet were glued to the ground as if waiting for someone, and as you looked down you noticed your outfit had changed. Your armor gone and replaced by beautiful red robes, you looked to your hands seeing golden rings with jewels on almost every finger. Then you felt eyes on you, as you turned your head you could see the same mask that haunted your dreams. He stood above you his body stretched and unnerving to look at, you two stared at each other in pure silence the only sound being the flames crackling. Then he reached out a long slender hand to you, his nails were sharp and the tips of his fingers were dyed a red color. He only stared waiting for you to take his hand and once you did he stood up straight.
You finally got a view of how tall he was, he was definitely something other worldly as his height towered over you immensely. Everyone stared at you two with emotionless faces, he began to walk and your feet moved with his. People began to appear standing in the pews, what was this supposed to all mean. Was there some secret message behind this? Was he toying with you? You began to hear clapping but no one's hands moved, you began to hear talking but no one's mouth uttered a sound. You felt a tightness in your chest as you two walked getting closer and closer to the altar. There stood a priest but its face was twisted, a large trunk like appendage moved around from its face. Your breathing began to get worse as you looked around some of the faces looked familiar and it hurt your head.
Your head began to pound as you walked, everything seemed so slow. You felt sweat beads appear on your forehead and rolling down your face, you felt your head pounding as if someone was bashing it in repeatedly with a mace, you felt your legs begin to shake as they turned to jelly. You didn't want to be here, you wanted to go home. Home back in Cyrodiil, you wanted your merchant job back, you wanted your run down shack.
You felt the tall beings hand squeeze yours, was he really trying to comfort you in a nightmare he created? He finally stopped just as you both got to the altar, the cheers began to grow louder but no one's face moved from their expressionless gaze. Then he turned to you, moving your face so you'd look at him. His eyes began to glow as he stared at you, five words were spoken and nothing more.
"Come to me sweet Nerevar"
You awoke gasping for air as if you had been choked, you fell out of your bed holding your throat as you coughed. Your eyes bloodshot and your mouth dry, you took a moment on the ground just sitting there trying to compose yourself. Leaning against the side of the bed your breathing went back to normal, the pounding in your head dying down. You looked towards the window, you couldn't delay your prophecy anymore.
Hope y'all like this! I'll be writing more Elder scrolls stuff soon! Requests are always !!

••|| It's alright ||••
Sotha sil x chubby reader one shot
This takes place before they become tribunal so maybe a little angst(?)
Gn reader
Of course this will be dealing with some insecurities but it'll become a comfort/fluff fic lolol
(I have not written one of these in a while so i apologize in advance for any terrible writing)
Staring in the mirror was never much of a joy for you, in fact it displeased you at times. It had always been like this ever since you were young, of course you had a family who loved and cherished you. Never caring for how you looked, and the same would be said for your friends. The strangers though, their comments hurt like glass.
Even with your accomplishments people couldn't look past the way you presented yourself, you could have shown yourself to be Azura herself and they'd still only make side remarks about the body you hardly had control of. But those were only a couple people, only a few who had made you believe everyone saw you as nothing more than a large mound of flesh.
Their words stuck to you like an arrow in dummy, no matter how many kind genuine people you surround yourself with. You couldn't escape the thoughts that they too judged you, that they all spoke behind closed doors in hushed whispers about a body they truly could care less about.
You had friends, friends who never judged you. But your brain conjured up the suspicion that they never openly said anything, due to Nerevar. Your friend that you've known since childhood now a king, he welcomed you into his court and into his new found friend group as any friend would. You becoming his ambassador, speaking on behalf of the Chimer king and the race itself whenever your dear friend wasn't able to do so.
You didn't stick out much, Indoril always had a knack for becoming friends with those that people would gawk at, in fact you were probably the most normal looking of the bunch. You had Voryn the tall Dagoth whose affection towards Nerevar could be questioned, Vehk the poet who Indoril had found on the streets and claimed to have saved, Ayem the beautiful warrior princess who seemed to have the body of a goddess and finally
Seht.
Seht was..different, a poor soul who lost everything. You remember first meeting him, Vehk had asked you to take some food to him. Back when you were just another Chimer that Indoril had dragged along, speaking of you needing to learn to fight. When you brought it to him you felt nothing but sorrow for him. You attempted to be kind towards him, to be a friend in his time of need. But alas he only sat there hugging his knees as you soaked in the silence, until eventually you were needed elsewhere.
As time went on through out entire the group, he was closest to you. He never spoke much and had a tendency to be too quiet, always seeming to know what was on your mind. But maybe you were just predictable at this point. You were fascinated by him at times, how much information was stored inside of that head of his. How you could just say hello to him, and minutes later be in a conversation about things you hardly understood.
You felt a head rest on your shoulder pulling you away from your thoughts, an audible sigh escaping through the persons nose. You smiled as your eyes could see the familiar strands of ivory hair fall past you "hello Seht." You paused your writing, setting the quill aside as you glanced up towards your quiet friend.
He nodded to you before sitting down in the chair you kept at your side, already getting used to him visiting on occasion. He enjoyed watching you write, you never really had anyone too interested in your stories besides Indoril at times. But he only ever took interest in them if they had some sort of action in them. Sometimes Voryn would glance at your tales too, but never more than a passing glance. But Seht stayed no matter what the story was about, whether it be romance or tragedy he listed. Sometimes if he had the time, he'd even help with ideas. "What's this one about?" He asked in that quiet tone you had grown used to.
You glanced towards him from the corner of your eye before giving a small smile, you had begun to write about your worries, your problems and your own self image issues. Maybe one day it'd help you, if not you then maybe far into the future, once you were nothing more than a faint memory from the past perhaps it would help someone else.
Sometimes you'd hand out your stories to people once they were 'book worthy' but these would never get that treatment "not a story this time my friend" he looked curious as he watched you turn back to the paper and continue your writings. "It seems to be a story" Seht spoke pointing out the few papers gathered underneath the one you were currently writing on.
You halted the quill in your hand, a tiny ink splotch being created from the sudden movement. "I- yes, it would seem that way. But I assure you it's not, this is.. Personal" with a pregnant silence filling the air, you eventually turned back to your writings. Cursing the tiny ink blotch before you continued on with your words.
It was silent between you two, the only sound being that of distant chatter from who knows exactly where, and the scribbles of quill on paper. Seht merely sat there, in the past you would question him. Why stay when there were so many other things to do? And he'd always reply the same
'I do not mind being here, I enjoy the silence'
Unbeknownst to you, there were more behind those words. Seht was.. How to put it kindly. Bad at words, he had always been socially awkward. Ever since he was a child, he could never find the right words to make friends. And when he thought he had, the other children gave him that..look. A look he detested, it wasn't that he feared you'd give him that same look. More of he feared your reaction.
Seht was used to studying the mechanisms of dwarven architecture, he was not used to these feelings of butterflies and 'jelly legs'. He tried to get advice from others, those who could confess feelings so easily. First he went to Voryn, and was somewhat ignored. Then to Nerevar who treated it more like a game of charades rather than actually giving advice, we won't even speak of what Vehks advice was...
Then he went to Almalexia, who was rather blunt with her words.
'Just tell them and get it over with, cowering will not accomplish anything.'
And just as those words flashed in his mind, finally reaching towards you.. Your door slammed open. Nerevar stood there, hand on one of the doors "hey! Sorry Seht but I need to borrow Y/n for an extremely important meeting-"
Your eye twitched ever so slightly, getting up your chair scooted back. Your head jerked towards Nerevar narrowing your eyes at the kings frantic state "what have you done?" Your childhood friend simply attempted to look innocent, fidgeting with his hands as he glanced away "nooothing-" he outstretched his word, before standing up more straight "just need you to help with a letter to- king Dumac that's all!"
You let your head fall sighing, cracking your eyes open to glance at Seht who still sat in his seat. You excused yourself "I will be back soon Seht, this shouldn't take long" pushing your chair back in, you left with Nerevar who kept spewing out thank yous and sorries, that soon became muffled as the large door closed.
Seht watched as the door closed, listening as the muffled voices grew distant. This wasn't the first time he was alone in your room, you trusted him and he trusted you. Your room within Nerevars palace was like another home to him, sometimes he found himself wanting to be no where else but here.
For a moment he simply sat there, glancing at the new trinkets you had collected from travels, the few weapons on display all from different times of your life, and the books messily strewn about across the room. Then his eyes landed on the papers that were laid upon your desk, you were always fine with him reading your works. Was this any different to your past stories?
He reached his hand out grabbing the papers, shifting them until he found the first page or what he assumed was the first. His eyes took in the words, it was just your thoughts. Speaking of your childhood and your kinship to Nerevar, as he turned to the backside though. That's when his brows knit in confusion.
The sun was setting as you made your way back to your room, assuming Seht had already left. Nerevar had kept you for a couple hours, attempting to decipher some letter the dwarven king had sent him. Voryn was far too busy to be bothered, so he simply grabbed the next best thing.
You slowly opened the door to your room, making the silent promise to visit Seht at his new found home. You were surprised to look up and see him still sat in his chair, you blinked a few times before a smile graced your lips "Seht, I am surprised to see you still here"
He was silent, which confused you. He was only silent when things weighed heavily on him, had something happened since you left? You grew closer to him "Seht? Is something the matter?" A minute too late, as you glanced towards your now empty desk. Did you realize he was holding the papers you had been writing on, you watched as he stood up. Holding the papers with both of his hands, he turned towards you.
"Is this truly how you see yourself?"
How were you to answer? What could you even say to make this a forgotten memory? Was he angry? Did he pity you? Questions continued to fill your head, forgetting the original question itself. Seht reached a hand out, grabbing your shoulder
"I do not.. Understand"
You looked up to him, but your eyes tried to focus on anything but him. Scared that you would see humor behind them, or worse judgment.
"You are perfect"
Your eyes finally looked to him, looking into his eyes. You saw the same eyes as you always did.
"What?"
Your words came out more like a stutter, his hand reached down to take yours. Squeezing it reassuringly as he continues on
"You are perfect, everything about you is"
A pause filled the air as he gathered his words, strands of his hair draping over his face as they usually did.
"I do not understand how something- no.. Someone so perfect-" he raised his other hand that still held the unfinished work "can say such things about themselves"
Of course you had heard praises from people before, Nerevar always attempted to boost your confidence. And all throughout your childhood your mother had done as much as she could to make you see your beauty. For some reason hearing it from Seht, sounded as if Azura herself descended down and spoke these words to you.
You squeezed his hand back, assuring him you were still listening. Just at a loss for words "I don't know what to say Seht.."
Seht cracked an ever so slight smile, he set the papers on the desk behind him. Both of his hands coming to intertwine with yours, for a second he glanced away contemplating his words.
"In a room full of art, i'd still stare at you"
Of course throughout your life you had people say much kinder and sweeter things, but hearing these words come from Seht felt as if Azura herself spoke to you. You melted at them, your lips curling into a soft smile
"Oh.. Seht"
Your hands moved away from his before you enveloped him into a hug that nearly spooked the poor guy. But slowly he relaxed, wrapping his arms around you he nestled his head against you as he closed his eyes. Basking in the moment between you two.
Hey y'all forgot to put his here but i hope you all enjoyed the story!

Should i start writing elder scrolls stuff? Like x readers, sfw/nsfw alphabets etc?
The characters i'd do are:
Kaidan, Dagoth ur, Voryn Dagoth, Sotha sil, Almalexia, Vivec, Indoril Nerevar, maybe some others if they're suggested?
And i'd be open to write just about anything (as long as it doesn't cross a boundary of mine) and i do take requests

Question, what happened to the Indoril Nerevar x reader? I can't find any :(
I admittedly didn't know what you meant at first. He hasn't been removed and I still want to write for him but have been alittle...lazy. Either way tell me what post you would like for me to add him to :)
