PLEASE pay attention 1. could you listen to nerdons episode about this its very positive and pleasent i always want to be positive on here

2. try to be positive even if you don't like that certain thing don't rain on someones parade like ill give an example: i was talking to a friend about star wars [ and don't get me wrong i love all of star wars ] i prefer the cartoons and my friend prefers the movies and they asked me hey why do you prefer the cartoons and then i said everything i love about it and i said what you love about the movies then we started discussing what we love about the fandom like do prefer a certain movie or lightsaber duel that one is a good example of being not toxic

types of toxicity ive seen are

people think they own certain fandoms like ill give an example

i was playing magic and i asked hey can i play you and the other human was like" no you have the same deck as me im not going to play with you ever " and thats god damn stupid cause yeah or

people will bash on a certain fandom for little reasons like for example i prefer tlok over alta [ that doesn't mean i dont love atla i grew up with it , it has a special place in my heart ] but i have hated on because prefer it to alta and its stupid because why does it matter that i prefer that over something else

always try to accept something even if you don't like im telling you cant state your opinion just be more chill about

ive voiced something before in a really shitty way and i felt like an asshole and said hey i felt really bad about this im sorry

guys i love my new dnd baby so much i got my friend to play her half-brother who is 100 years older (elf abjuration wizard) than my girl (half-elf wm sorcerer) and he’s been studying at wizard school since before she was born and she waltzes in and just starts. doing magic but it’s all weird magic

so she passes some classes through sheer luck and fails others and gets on desks to yell at the teachers and he’s just like oh my god why and eventually she’s like fuck this i don’t need y’all and drops out of wizard college to go find ppl like her aka the sorcerer coalition (which is basically a fantasy frat house apparently) waaay up north and also her mom maybe who dropped her off at elf dad’s house as a baby and he is awful and won’t tell her who she was

and the brother is like i have to escort this INFANT before she gets herself KILLED so that’s how they’re gonna end up meeting the party
