*Mangin Beaulieu Spor Kompleksi'nde saat 22:00'de başlayacak olan CEV Kadınlar Şampiyonlar Ligi 4. Tur D Grubu üçüncü maçı. Zirve serüveninde önemli bir virajdayız. Fransız ekibi önceki iki maçını 3-2 kaybetmişti. Son dönemde atılım içerisindeler. Geçen sezon Challenge Kupası finali gördüler. Gruptaki tablo yanıltmasın ama biz de gücümüzü yansıtırsak fark hissettiririz. Atmosfer etkisinde olmadan tam odaklanmayla net sonucu alalım. Yürekten başarılar dileriz temsilcimize.

*Tivibu Spor 1'den naklen yayınlanacak olan maç.

*İlk sette 25-18 ile güldük ve 1-0 öne geçtik. Etkili bir oyun geldi Kanarya'dan ve bazı beraberlik anları dışında hep önde kaldık. Nantes zaman zaman yaklaşsa da ötesine izin vermedik. 19-16'dan sonra da gazı kökledik ve uçarak bitirdik. Mesajı verdik. Böyle de devam etsin.

*İkinci set 25-21 ile bize geldi ve durumu 2-0 yaptık. Yine çok etkili bir oyun izletti temsilcimiz. Nantes sadece 1-0'da öne geçmişti. Fenerbahçe daha sonra 8-2'ye kadar çıkardı tabelayı. Fark belli noktada devam ediyordu. 22-15'i görmüştük. Belki de çok rahat bitecekti ama Nantes'ın 6-3'lük sekansı sadece işin uzamasına neden oldu. 3 sayı bize yetti ve dev adımı attık.

*Üçüncü seti 25-23'te kapattık ve maçı 3-0 kazanarak 3'te 3 yaptık. Bu sefer dönüş örneği sergiledik. Nantes 4-0'la girdi sete. Yaklaşsak da çeviremedik. Fransız ekibi uzunca süre hakimiyeti elinde tuttu. 22-20'den sonra tecrübemizi konuşturup çok iyi bir refleks gösterdik. Kalitemizi net skorla yansıttık. Tebrikler tüm ekibe. Artık zirvede rahatız.

İlklerin kadın hakem ikilisi Avrupa Ligi Finali'nde

Uluslararası Türk kadın hentbol hakemliğinde ilklere imza atan hakem çifti Pınar Ünlü Hatipoğlu ve Mehtap Şimşek, bir önemli bir adım daha atarak EHF 2024 Kadınlar Avrupa Ligi final maçını yönetecek. Avrupa Hentbol Federasyonu, Avusturya’nın Graz kentinde 12 Mayıs��ta oynanacak EHF 2024 Kadınlar Avrupa Ligi final maçında Türk hakem ikilisini görevlendirdi.

ANKARA (İGFA)- EHF 2024 Kadınlar Avrupa Ligi Finalleri’nde 11 Mayıs’ta oynanacak ilk yarı final maçında Storhamar Handball Elite ve Neptunes Nantes takımları, ikinci yarı final maçında ise CS Gloria 2018 BN ile H.C. Dunarea Braila takımları karşılaşacak. 12 Mayıs Pazar Günü saat 19.00’da Raiffeisen Sportpark Graz’da oynanacak final maçını ise Pınar Ünlü Hatipoğlu ve Mehtap Şimşek ikilisi yönetecek.

Bu karşılaşma uluslararası arenada Türk kadın hakemliğinin ulaştığı en üst seviye olacak. Daha önce Ordulararası Dünya Şampiyonası da dahil dört kez dünya şampiyonalarında, dört kez Avrupa Şampiyonası’nda olmak üzere 500’ün üzerinde uluslararası maçta düdük çalan hakem ikilisi Pınar Ünlü Hatipoğlu ile Mehtap Şimşek, EHF 2022 Kadınlar Avrupa Ligi Finalleri yarı finalinde düdük çalarak bir ilke imza atmış, ardından EHF 2023 Kadınlar Şampiyonlar Ligi Final 4’te üçüncülük maçını yönetmişti.

*Reze Metropol Spor Salonu'nda saat 22:00'de başlayacak olan CEV Kadınlar Challenge Kupası Final rövanş maçı. İtalyan ekibi Novara'nın ilk mücadeleden elde ettiği 3-0'lık avantaj söz konusu. Kupa için 2 set yetecek onlara. Nantes ise seyirci avantajıyla geri dönüşe imza atmaya çabalayacak. Novara'nın 2003'le birlikte toplamdaki ikinci, Nantes'ın ise ilk zaferini istediğini hatırlatalım. Güzel bir kapanış heyecanı yaşamak dileğiyle. Taraflara başarılar diliyoruz.

*CEV YouTube kanalından naklen yayınlanacak olan maç.

*İlk setin sonunda 25-23 ile gülen Nantes 1-0 öne geçti. Ev sahibi ekip dirençli oyunu ile rakibi karşısında sağlam kalmayı başardı. Serilerle üstünlüklerin zaman zaman eline geçirdi. Son sayılarda da iyi durdu Fransız ekibi ve umut akşamında ilk adımını attı.

*İkinci seti 25-16 alan Novara 1-1 yaptı. İtalyan ekibi favori kimliğine geri döndü adeta ve net bir oyunla bazı şeyleri hatırlattı. Büyük avantaj sahibiler artık. 1 set kupa demek.

*Üçüncü sette 25-20 üstünlük kuran Novara skoru 2-1'e çevirdi. Bu da onlar için şampiyonluk demek. Nantes son kurşununu attı. İyi de götürüyordu ama 17-16'dan sonra Novara 5 sayılık seri yaparak uyandı. Bu da artık malumu duyurdu. Tebrik ediyoruz.

*Dördüncü set 25-19 Novara'ya gitti ve maçı 3-1 kazandı İtalyan ekibi. Şampiyonluğunu çifte galibiyetle süsledi. Nantes böylesi bir heyecanı ilk kez yaşadı. Novara ise bu organizasyondaki ilk kupasını alarak CEV koleksiyonunu tamamlamış oldu bir anlamda. Bir kez daha tebrikler şampiyon ekibe.

I THINK that’s everything I may be missing some.

I didn’t include if I read the manga AND saw the anime- like with Sailor Moon, Sugar Sugar Rune, etc. I also didn’t include any of the Precure movies because I don’t know I feel like that’s overkill??? I also started reading the Magical Girl Raising Project Light Novels so those would be shoved in there too I guess.

A lot of these series are missing from MyAnimeList list because I intend to re-watch them and it’s a good way to keep track of things I haven’t re-watched recently. (now if only I remembered to update what episodes of things I’m currently watching lmao)

Even with all of this there are still so many series I have to see!! I can’t wait *u*

My name is Deborah Ann Waugh and I’m a Franco-American, currently residing in Lyon, France. I’ve never thought of myself as an artist, let alone a featured one! I am a complete novice who only started learning watercolour painting this spring, in mid-March to be precise.

And it’s at night, because I suffer from a disease that gives me regular insomnia, and a weekend occupation only and will remain so until I retire 15-20 years from now. I have a gripping scientific day job, which I really love too: discovery and development of novel mechanism of action antibiotics. I have hence begun to lead what is essentially a double life, actually triple if you count my mothering responsibilities to three kids aged 23, 17 and 10, and desire to also spend some time with my loving, screenplay-writing partner.

That’s also why I publicly use a pseudonym: Deborah A. Waugh, with Deborah Ann being the names of my [real] identical twin sister, although those active on Doodlewash will already know me by my real name. That’s why I was so touched and flattered by Charlie’s proposal to become a “featured artist”!

How I Became Such An Avid Watercolourist

I started painting essentially as a way to return, in spirit and fantasy, to my large flower, fruit and vegetable garden, which I lost when we sold our house of 10 years outside of Bristol (UK) in 2017-18 and moved in to a flat in central Lyon.

When I draw flowers, fruits, vegetables or small animals, I realise I draw (literally!) in my mind from a vast collection of visual memories derived from hours and hours of gardening at that location in all seasons. Indeed, in order to tend effectively to Nature, you have to observe, to study very carefully where and how it grows and grows best, and to memorise this information for future reference.

I am also inspired by three other locations I still often holiday in and return to in my mind when I paint: l’Ile d’Yeu, off the coast of Nantes in Brittany and the Val d’Hérens in the Swiss Alpes and a family home in Virieu-sur-Bourbre, now known as Val de Virieu, located between Lyon and Grenoble. After just a couple of first paintings, I was completely hooked. I now paint for at least one 2-3 hours sitting every day, watching online tutorials on my commute to and from work.

Focus And Sources Of Inspiration

I see myself as an “intimiste” painter. I paint individual plants or plant parts, objects, more rarely land or cityscapes, but almost always from/of places I have personally visited or lived in. I usually rely on photos I have taken on my phone or tablet, assembling them into mood boards using an application called Jux, if necessary alongside additional images (photos or watercolour paintings by others) taken from the Web via Google and Unsplash.

As I am still teaching myself to draw (for instance, via Brent Eviston’s fantastic classes on Skillshare), if I paint directly from an existing but complicated photo, I may use the Etchr mirror and its dedicated applications to transfer a first sketch onto watercolour paper.

For flowers and bouquets, I also use Instagram a lot as a source of inspirational reference photos, where I follow many specialised British nurseries, RHS and other prestigious gardens and famous gardeners for instance, as well as many individuals internationally posting their own marvellous pictures of nature.

Favourite Materials And Supplies

For landscapes and cityscapes I generally use my Winsor & Newton watercolour palettes which have rich earthy tones, complemented by some same brand tube paints. For flowers and other vegetation, I prefer my brighter Sennelier fine and extra fine tube paints as well as Dr Ph Martins liquid watercolours (from the Radiant, Hydrus or Bombay ink ranges, which I will review for this website soon), which are also less prone to fading.

All three types of paints can also be mixed together, often to great effects. What I also like to do is add/mix in iridescent paints, in liquid form from Dr Ph Martins and in solid form from Daniel Smith (tubes) or Kuretake (palettes). I find these paints, used subtly, really illuminate a painting. Finally, I like to enhance my paintings with white gouache, gel pens of different colours, including metallic ones, and dark ink markers of different thicknesses too.

In terms of paper, I’ll use anything good (Arches, Fabriano or Canson, 100% or high percentage cotton, cold pressed smooth for loose flowers, rough for landscapes and hot pressed very smooth for detailed, realistic pieces.

Also some handmade papers from Ruscombe Mill) but what I particularly like are free paper samples (sent to me regularly for instance by the great French watercolour supplies shop) since then I feel psychologically relieved of my blank paper fear of “wasting it”!

In terms of paint brushes my favourites are two pure petit gris Winsor & Newton ones, the Princeton Neptune Artist Brushes for Watercolor Series 4750, 4 Piece Professional Set 300 recently reviewed on the Doodlewash site, a surprisingly cheap, cheerful and very much used 8-piece Chinese calligraphy set, complemented by a few speciality Japanese brushes such as hake, surikomi etc.

My ongoing à la carte, self-selected and self-guided artistic education

As I am still very much learning to paint, I have taken several classes online and I am continuing to do so. I’ve clocked up around 100 hours of diverse fine arts classes on Skillshare and posted several dozen projects (under my real name). That’s where I first encountered the wonderfully inspirational loose botanical work of Anne Lafolette for instance, and that of several other great watercolour artists.

On Creativebug I mostly took the outstanding courses of Yao Cheng, which are again centred on loose florals. In addition, I have subscribed to several courses on the websites of individual artists such as Louise de Masi, first encountered on Skillshare, Kris Keys and Marie Boudon.

Another source of inspiration is artist Minyoung Ku, discovered on Instagram and who, I believe at my insistent request, has just started posting tutorials on YouTube.

To Conclude, The Future

What I enjoy most is painting real vegetables or bouquets sitting right in front of my eyes or better still painting outdoors using my Etchr satchel or field case and mini-palette. Finally, I don’t like my work to then get buried in my large portfolio folder so I spray a light, UV-protecting varnish on what my family and I agree are the better ones, mount them on cheap cardboard frames with masking tapes and hang them everywhere in our flat: hallways, bedrooms and even, of course, the loo!

Other than that, I still feel very much like I am at the start of my creative journey. Therefore, I strongly hope Doodlewash will give me the chance to update you on my progress again a few years from now.

Appointments within the ENGIE Group

Olivier Biancarelli is appointed CEO of Tractebel effective 7 May, 2018. He replaces Daniel Develay, who will endorse the responsibility of the new Integration Management Office of ENGIE Group. Tractebel is one of the world’s largest engineering consultancy companies, specialized in Energy and Water & Cities Infrastructures. Olivier Biancarelli will report to Shankar Krishnamoorthy, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE, and will be a member of its management team.

Aged 47, Olivier Biancarelli holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of the Sorbonne and is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris. He is also a former student of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration.

Olivier Biancarelli began his career in the service of the State in 2000 as a member of the prefectural corps before being appointed adviser to the Minister of the Interior in 2005 and then to the Head of State from 2007 to 2012.

He joined the ENGIE Group in 2012 as Assistant Secretary General and then created and led the Shared Services Department. In 2015, he was appointed to set up a new activity dedicated to Decentralised solutions for the cities and regions.

Since January 2016, he has been Director of the Métier “Decentralised solutions for Cities and Territories”.

Daniel Develay is appointed Managing Director of the Integration Office effective 7 May, 2018. He will report to Shankar Krishnamoorthy, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE Group. The purpose of the New Integration Department is to provide support for the integration of newly-acquired companies into the portfolio of the ENGIE Group.

Aged 60, Daniel Develay graduated as an engineer from the Ecole Centrale de Paris (1979). He joined the ENGIE Group in 1987 and has held positions as project director and director of Tractebel subsidiaries, mainly abroad. His career has been marked by major energy projects, dams and hydroelectric plants with key references in Africa, India and Brazil. He has also worked for MEDEF International and SYNTEC Ingénierie.

Since 2014, Daniel Develay has been Chief Executive Officer of Tractebel, the ENGIE Business Unit specialising in energy and major water and city infrastructure engineering.

Martin Jahan de Lestang is appointed Managing Director of the Gas Chain Metier. He replaces Jean-Marc Leroy, who is appointed Senior Executive Vice-President for External Relations of the ENGIE Group. He will report to Shankar Krishnamoorthy, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE Group, and will be a member of its management team.

Aged 46, Martin Jahan de Lestang is a graduate of the Ecole nationale d’administration, of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris.

He began his career by working for the French State. He joined the ENGIE Group in 2009, in the gas supply department. Assistant Director and then Director of the “capacities portfolio” unit, he was in charge of streamlining the portfolio of the Group’s contracts relating to the logistics of its supplies in Europe (transmission, storage, terminals). He also took part in the industry thinking on the model of the gas market in Europe (gas target model). In 2013, he was appointed Director of Performance and Innovation of the Infrastructure Business Line of the ENGIE Group.

Since 2014, Martin Jahan de Lestang has been CEO of Elengy and President of Fosmax LNG.

Carole Le Gall is appointed CEO of ENGIE’s France Networks Business Unit effective 1 May, 2018. She replaces Frédéric Martin who will become Deputy CEO of GRDF. She will report to Pierre Mongin, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE Group.

Aged 48, Carole Le Gall is a general engineer of the Corps des Mines and holds a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Before joining ENGIE, she worked for sustainable development for 20 years, first at the French Ministry of the Economy, in the economic development department of the Prefecture of the Pays de Loire region. She then occupied the position of Deputy CEO of Nantes Métropole, in charge of economic development and attractiveness of the territory. In 2006, she joined the top management of the ADEME to work on the themes of energy efficiency, renewable energies and air quality. Carole Le Gall has also led the CSTB (Scientific and Technical Centre for Building) for 6 years.

As a member of the Executive Committee of ENGIE Cofely from June 2015 to April 2018, Carole Le Gall has overseen cross-functional projects relating to digital transformation, innovation and the development of new offers. She chaired the ENGIE Lab Cylergie (Lyon) as well as two subsidiaries involved in digital solutions (Vertuoz & Blu.e).

Since June 2015, Carole has headed ENGIE Cofely’s innovation/marketing solutions and the Key Program of the ENGIE Group regarding the renovation of buildings. In partnership with the entities of the Group, this program has been used to develop the presence of ENGIE on the markets of the building sector, backed by the Group’s know-how in engineering, climate and electrical engineering and facility management.

Jean-Marc Leroy is appointed Senior Executive Vice-President for ENGIE External Relations effective 13 April, 2018. He reports to Shankar Krishnamoorthy, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE Group. Jean-Marc Leroy will work in close collaboration with the Métiers of the Group, in particular that of the Gas Chain. His role will be to promote a global smart energy system underpinned by a sustainable and well-balanced energy mix.

Aged 60, Jean-Marc Leroy holds an engineer degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electrotechnique, d’Electronique, d’Informatique, d’Hydraulique et de Télécommunications de Toulouse (ENSEEIHT), of which he is currently chairman of the supervisory board.

He joined the Group in 1980, at EDF-GDF Services. From 1997 to 2004, he occupied key positions at Gaz de France: Chief of staff, Secretary of the Board, Deputy Vice-President for Strategy, Vice-President for External Relations and Internal Communications. From 2005 to 2009, he was responsible for gas storage and liquefied natural gas regasification terminals at Gaz de France and subsequently GDF SUEZ. In 2009, he became Chief Executive Officer of Storengy, the underground gas storage operator of ENGIE. Between 2008 and 2013, he was President of Gas Storage Europe (GSE), the storage pillar of the Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) association.

Since 1 January 2016, Jean-Marc Leroy has been Managing Director of ENGIE’s Gas Chain Métier.

Jean-Marc Leroy has also several non-executive roles. He is President of Gas Infrastructure Europe since November 2015, a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Gas Centre within the World Energy Council since 2015, and, since September 2017, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GRDF, the French gas distribution affiliate of ENGIE.

Cedric Osterrieth is appointed Chief Executive Officer of ENGIE’s Generation Europe Business Unit effective April 1, 2018. He reports to Paulo Almirante, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE Group.

Aged 48, Cedric Osterrieth holds a Master’s degree in applied economics from the Catholic University of Louvain and a Certificate from the general management program from CEDEP at Insead. After starting his career in the energy sector in 1995, Cedric joined the ENGIE Group in 2000 where he held financial advisory functions until 2007, supporting M&A and development projects in South East Asia and Europe. Between 2007 and 2011, Cedric was Vice- President, Finance for GDF SUEZ Energy North America, where he was responsible for funding activities, commodity markets risk control and performance control.

In 2011, Cedric joined ENGIE’s Exploration and Production Business Unit. He consecutively held positions as Chief Financial Officer, in Paris, Managing Director of its Norwegian operational entity based in Norway, and lately as Chief Executive Officer of the Business Unit until the closing of the sale of the entity to Neptune Energy.

Damien Térouanne is appointed Strategic Supply and Sourcing Director for the ENGIE Group effective 1 May, 2018. He replaces Claire Brabec-Lagrange. He will report to Didier Holleaux, Executive Vice-President of ENGIE Group.

Aged 45, Damien Térouanne is a graduate of the Ponts et Chaussées engineering school and holds an executive MBA from HEC. He joined the ENGIE Group in 1998, after 18 months of cooperation at the National Science Foundation in Washington, D.C. He began his career in gas infrastructure: project management, operational management, then negotiating the transport offer with natural gas suppliers and with the Energy Regulation Commission. He then joined the activities of energy services, where he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Climespace (the Paris district cooling system) between 2009 and 2011, then as Managing Director of Cofely Networks between 2012 and 2015, a period of extensive renewal and conversion to renewable energy in the portfolio of heat network concessions.

Since 2015, he has been Managing Director of the ENGIE entity in charge of B2B marketing for electricity and natural gas in France, for which he just led the transformation plan.

*Igor Gorgonzola Salonu'nda saat 22:00'de başlayacak olan CEV Kadınlar Challenge Kupası Final ilk maçı. İtalyan ekibi Novara, bu kupayı 2003'te de kazanmıştı. Tarihindeki ikinci zaferinin peşinde olacak. 2019'da da Şampiyonlar Ligi'ni elde ettiğini hatırlatalım. Bu sezon üçüncü seviyede mücadele etse de kupa için güçlü adaydı ve beklendiği gibi finale ulaştı. Nantes ise Yarı Final'de temsilcimiz Nilüfer Belediyespor'u eleyip buraya geldi. Kulüp tarihinin en büyük başarısına imza atmayı arzuluyor. 2018'de bu organizasyonda son 4'e kalmıştı. Bu sefer onun ötesine geçti. Bir adım daha ileriye gidip kupayla taçlandırmayı hedefliyor. Güzel bir heyecan yaşamak dileğiyle. Başarılar iki ekibe de.

*İlk seti 26-24 galip bitiren Novara 1-0 öne geçti. Nantes ilk kısmı iyi geçmişti ama Novara 13-10'dan 5 sayılık seriyle döndü. Ondan sonra hakimiyet İtalyan ekibinin olmuştu. Böyle bitecek derken 23-20'den 3 sayılık seri çıkaran Nantes ortak oldu. Lakin son sayılar kadro kalitesi ile Novara'ya gitti.

*İkinci sete 25-22 nokta koyan Novara 2-0'ı gördü. İtalyan ekibi çok rahat götürüyordu belki çok daha farklı bitecekti ama 24-17 sonrasında Nantes 5 sayılık seri yaptı ve bir anda ortak oldu. Aradığı o tek sayıyı sonunda bulan Novara kabustan dönmüş oldu. Nantes için moral bozucu bir son bölüm yaşandı.

*Üçüncü set 25-20 ile Novara'nın oldu ve İtalya temsilcisi 3-0 kazanarak rövanş için mesajını verdi. Bu sefer ihtiyacı olan performansla tam hakimiyet kurdular ve sorunsuz bitirdiler. Nantes ise evindeki rövanşta önce 2 set vermeden kazanmaya ardından altın seti almaya bakacak. Yol onlar için uzun belki ama seyircisine güvenecekler biraz da.

*Cengiz Göllü Voleybol Salonu'nda saat 18:00'de başlayacak olan CEV Kadınlar Challenge Kupası Yarı Final rövanş maçı. Fransa'da 3-0 kaybetmiştik. Bugün bir hayli zorlu sınav bizi bekliyor. 2 set vermeden kazanıp altın seti kovalayalım önce. Altın setin heyecanı ve gerginliği başka oluyor. Artık o aşamayı da zaman gösterecek. Yürek dolusu başarı dileklerimizi Nilüfer'e iletiyoruz.

*İlk set 25-18 ile Fransız ekibinin lehine sona erdi ve 1-0 öne geçtiler. Fena başlangıç yoktu ama 9-9'dan sonra Nantes 10-1'lik sekansa imza attı. Set de orada gitti aslında. Sonlara doğru çabamız vardı ama yetmedi o da. Şimdi kritik set oynanacak.

*İkinci set de 25-18 onların oldu ve durumu 2-0 yaparak Final'i kesinleştirdiler. Sıkıntılı başlangıç sonrasında mesafeyi hemen açtılar. 14-8'den sonra iyi bir refleksimiz vardı. 4'e kadar indirmiştik. Sonra yine uzaklaştılar. 19-12'den sonra da 5 sayılık seri yaptık ve farkı 2'ye kadar indirdik. O andan sonra ise Fransız ekibi 6-1'lik oyun ortaya koydu ve seti gitti. Artık prestij anları bizi bekler.

*Üçüncü sete 25-16 ile nokta koyan Nantes mücadeleyi 3-0 galip bitirdi ve Final'e çıktı. Bu kez hiç oyunda yoktuk ve rahatça hallettiler. Tüm eşleşmedeki gibi bir son bölüm oldu. İki maçta da aradaki fark hissedildi. Temsilcimiz Nilüfer Belediyespor'a bu sezonki uzun serüven için teşekkürlerimizi sunuyoruz. Buraya kadar güzel bir grafik vardı. Tabi Fransa liderine karşı bu kadar olabildi. Fransa da son dönemde dikkat çeken işler yapıyor kadın voleybolunda. Yatırım farkı da rol oynadı kesinlikle. Her şey için teşekkür ederiz Nilüfer'e.
