Fes Day 1

The reveal that Salieri was among the Fes costume line up was hilarious so many people were saying "Okay Jalter!! Du Haine these traitors!!" and also "Come back and enjoy the fes with us Jalter! Bill all your expenses to that stargazing yukata ojisan over there!"

This was truly Avenger class summer (marie alter was also included)

Light reading was absolutely phenomenal - the lines delivered by sakamoto maaya and nobunaga shimazaki in Expo Live were amazing in Id chapter portion!!!!!!

Official ID chapter MAD was insane it 1000% showed that the song was truly the feelings of the Avenger class from the bottom of their heart especially with dantes at the last few lines / the "noise" part too was freaking Salieri's i knew it!!!!!!

Paradis Chateau d'If was said to be insanely sweetly flavor that was strong. The grape is seems to be more jam than jelly. The bottom part was said to be peach syrup itself (but also mixed with some grape). The silver pearls sprinkles are called silver dragees that make it really fancy! It was also really thick that even when the ice melts, it won't thin out or get diluted at all.

Unofficial Guide to Yuichi Usagi's Friends and Family

This is for the fanfic readers who want to read about Leoichi but aren't as familiar with Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles. Note that I'm not a diehard fan but I did watch the two seasons so here are my thoughts.

This post is also spoiler-y to the show and have referneces to the Usagi Yojimbo comics.

Gen

Samurai Rabbit's Gen vs Usagi Yojimbo's Gen

Samurai Rabbit's Gen is based on Usagi Yojimbo's Gen. UY Gen is a self-proclaimed best friend of Miyamoto and constantly has him paying for the food and drinks every time they meet in their separate journeys.

UY Gen is a bounty hunter who knows how to wield a sword but refuses to follow the samurai code because of daddy issues (his dad chose to be faithful to the samurai code over providing a good life for his wife and kid).

SR Gen is also a bounty hunter but the similarity stops there. He was once from a rich family until his mother chose to heal a wanted convict. This made the people of Neo Edo mad at her which brought down her hospital.

Gen, upon growing up, had to make the hard decision to sell their mansion to the shogun and live his life as a bounty hunter.

Similar to rottmnt Raph, he's the oldest brother and carries that energy to his friends. He has a sister, Yoshiko, who looks like him. But they both insist they look nothing alike.

Toshiko is more free-spirited than Gen, but in Gen's opinion, she's more reckless, which ends up with him cleaning up her mess.

They also have a family car called Ashibasha that is possessed by a yokai that enters into any neglected non-living object. They keep Ashibasha in slight disrepair since they got attached to the yokai possessing it.

Other Stuff I Can Remember about Samurai Rabbit's Gen

He fights with a pair of kaikishi weapon of studded metal clubs called kanabo. Its special abilities are not yet known.

He and his friends are all staying in his ancestral home that his sister bought back.

He's a hypochondriac who would overworry over a paper cut and is a frequent patient of the Neo Edo hospital (which used to belong to their mother) run by three Shiba Inus who like to stay silly despite the horrors.

He's also a germaphobe and one of his greatest challenges against the Machine is going through the sewer part of their ship.

Aside from being a bounty hunter, he's also a sign spinner.

He and his sister has a background on fixing mech.

He sometimes is the advisor to Usagi's naïveté. Like telling Usagi to read the situation first in their first meeting or when he told him that the birthday venue for Kitsune should be something she likes because Usagi kept showing fighting venues.

He knows how to be intimidating for his advantage but is actually a big softie like following Usagi's idea to be their Kaiksihi sensei even when it's going badly so as not to hurt his feelings.

Kitsune

Samurai Rabbit's Kitsune vs Usagi Yojimbo's Kitsune

SR Kitsune is based on UY Kitsune. UY Kitsune is a street performer who robs her audience. A friendship was formed when Miyamoto stole back his wallet from her at the end of the chapter.

Despite being a righteous stick-in-the-mud, Miyamoto does have a sense of humor and doesn't seem to hold it against her when she robbed him of his money pouch that made him washed the dishes in a restaurant he ate in.

More on Samurai Rabbit's Kitsune

SR Kitsune is a street performer too. But instead of tricks with a fan and a toy top, she does puppeteering. She's also easygoing and has the tendency to make casual remarks about her life that ranges from zany to kind of concerning.

Like never having a birthday party in her life because she's an orphan, or that her childhood friend is a puff of gas that smells of fermented soybeans that she assumes is a ghost.

Similar to Mikey, she's just as playful and carries an energy of lightheartedness. She's the glue that holds Chizu with the others while Chizu is busy being the leader of the Neko ninja clan.

Other Stuff I Can Remember about Samurai Rabbit's Kitsune

She fights with kaikishi weapons which is a pair of bladed fans called Tessen. Its special abilities is not yet known aside from being able to return to her like a boomerang when thrown.

Has gay energy with Chizu.

She has a habit of stealing stuff but is trying to rein it in since she has her friends now.

Became sisters with a deadly alien ai that adapted its personality to her own. Her little sister is named Kiyoko. In the Usagi Yojimbo comics, Kitsune also has adopted a street orphan named Kiyoko whom she taught how to steal stuff.

Able to pilot a giant mech because of her puppeteering skills. Someone give that girl a gundam.

Chizu

Samurai Rabbit's Chizu vs Usagi Yojimbo's Chizu

Yuichi's Chizu is based on another character in the Usagi Yojimbo comics. Miyamoto's Chizu is also a ninja. But Chizu's brother, Shingen, got to know and work together with Miyamoto first.

I'm not yet finished with the comics, but all I know is that Chizu's brother died but she has heard of the samurai that he has worked with.

She has trouble with the ninja clan accepting her as their leader, and at one point was told by another ninja leading the clan to marry him so that the ninjas would take her authority more seriously. She refused.

In the end, the other ninja died after he tried to kill her to overthrow her. She then forced a kiss on Miyamoto as thanks or something and then left. (Seriously, I can count three female characters that forced a kiss on Miyamoto.) Chizu is a possible love interest for Miyamoto in the series.

I haven't finished the comics. But after a quick scan in Wiki, I find out she also fails to lead her clan and became a fugitive.

More on Samurai Rabbit's Chizu

SR Chizu has something like a mother complex but a third secret thing with Neko ninja crew leader Lady Fuwa. She was kidnapped as a baby by Lady Fuwa and was trained to be a weapon alongside other cat orphans.

So she kinda has a "You raised us but you kidnapped us. You destroyed our childhood for your gain but I wouldn't be here if not for you. You lie and cheat and backstab including me but I don't want to kill you" complicated thing with her.

Despite ninjas being famous for deception, she's the most strait-laced character in the group.

She tried to be loyal to Lady Fuwa. But Yuichi, Gen, and Kitsune reminded her of her childhood friend that Lady Fuwa took away so that Chizu wouldn't have any other bonds but her. It was Kitsune who was most hurt by her betrayal and Chizu made every effort to make it up to her.

Similar to rottmnt Donnie, she has a dry sense of humor. But again, that's where the similarity stops. If Donnie has evil-scientist-vibes, I think Chizu needs to be reminded to get loose sometimes. Well, at least Kitsune's there to remind her.

She really tried to lead the clan to no crimes but she has so much to learn first. Her clan, with the exception of one who was still loyal to her, turned on her in favor of Lady Fuwa.

Other Stuff I Can Remember about Samurai Rabbit's Chizu

Chizu fights with a kaiksihi weapon bow and arrow, along with her ninja gear of throwing stars and wrist-mounted crossbows. She's also familiar on how to use the naginata (it's like the Japanese version of a polearm).

Is ship-teased with Usagi but it's probably a callback on the Usagi Yojimbo comics.

Has gay energy with Kitsune.

Is looked up to by Hana and the other ninja kittens.

Tetsujin

Based on a sunbear, Tetsujin is the last warrior and guardian of the mystical ki-stone aka Kaikishi warrior. He's the tech guy of the group and his form became that of a sci-fi ghost because of the ki-stone.

He and Lady Fuwa used to be together (which neither Usagi, Gen, Kitsune nor Chizu wants to hear about), but it turned out Lady Fuwa was just using him.

Yuichi Usagi's Aunt

Usagi's Aunt's name is not yet known despite two seasons. She's not based on the Usagi Yojimbo comics. She taught Usagi everything he knows about sword fighting.

Although there was an implication of war a long time ago, judging by Usagi's aunt's leg and ear prosthetics, and that Usagi's parents are nowhere to be seen, there doesn't seem to be any samurais in Neo Edo.

Did She Ever Give Usagi Formal Training on How to be a Samurai? I don't know.

I'm not sure if she has formally taught him how to be a samurai, aside from sword fighting, such as the samurais' philosophies, virtues, and principles. But Usagi once quoted her words about protecting those who need to be protected. So it's possible.

But unlike Miyamoto Usagi, Yuichi Usagi didn't follow the traditional path of being a samurai:

Miyamoto received his sword, Willowbranch, when he was acknowledged by his lord and future master, Lord Mifune, upon proving himself in a tournament.

For Yuichi Usagi, he was given his Aunt's sword, Edgewing, when he wanted to go out to the city. In the Usagi Yojimbo comics, the sword of a samurai is his soul. But it doesn't seem to be the case for Edgewing.

So maybe it's more informal? Since Yuichi Usagi seems to be the only samurai around, the samurai tradition may have become obsolete by the time Yuichi Usagi became Miyamoto Usagi's thousand-year descendant. Similar to how the samurai class was abolished in the late 1860s. But that's just my assumptions.

Did They Pass Down Katsuichi's Unique Style of Swordfighitng? I don't know either.

It is Katsuichi, Miyamoto's sensei, whom Miyamoto learned the way of the sword that had made him a great samurai. But it is not yet confirmed if Usagi's aunt learned the same style.

How does the Yuichi Line Connect to Miyamoto Usago? I don't know that either.

While Miyamoto Usagi is acknowledged as their ancestor, it didn't say in the show if Usagi and his Aunt came from the line of Miyamoto's paternal cousin, Yamamoto Yukichi, or from a descendant of (surname unknown) Jotaro, Miyamoto's son that was raised by his childhood love, Mariko, and childhood rival, Kenichi.

Hana and the other Ninja Orphan Kittens

In the Samurai Rabbit series, Hana and the other orphan ninjas are basically child soldiers. Chizu and Usagi rescued them and the orphans now lived a peaceful life with Usagi's aunt.

They still have a long way to go as they're still trying to get used to civilian life without looting or destroying property (as they did when Usagi and Gen took them on an outing).

Karasu-Tengu

Karasu-Tengu is the Master Yokai of all martial arts and also a nature yokai who doesn't like how Neo Edo had become because it destroyed a forest for it to become so big.

She was going to seclude herself into the deeper parts of the forests to protect and live in it. But Usagi figured out where to find her. She tried to shoo him away like how one would be whacking a slipper after a bug, Usagi fights her as he asks for her to be his sensei.

In the end, Usagi proved himself worthy, and they make a funny pair by how small and harmless Usagi looks like next to her -similar to Miaymoto and his sensei.

Samurai Rabbit has a lot of references to the Usagi Yojimbo comics with more characters. But this post is long enough.

Eagerness waves off of Sensei, Tenten, and Lee while the remaining of us - Neji and me - sulk. After Kiba and I got into our 'physical' fight, Gai-Sensei and Kurenai have been planning another hangout under the statement 'if you guys are around each other enough, you'll learn to get along'.

So, Sensei is excited about that, Tenten is excited to see Hinata, and Lee is just excited about life. I don't want to see Kiba and Neji is stressed out when both his girls are around. That has to do with his want to protect everyone all the time though, so it can't be helped.

For our forced exposure to each other, our Senseis decided to take one of the training fields for the day. Gai says he doesn't care what any of us do as long as we stay on the training field.

Probably not the best way to get the outcome they want, but it works out for me. I'll just avoid Kiba the whole time and then when we go to leave I'll pretend that he shits silver. As long as it's good enough for our Senseis, I won't have to deal with him again.

"Are you going to tell me why he bit you?" Neji asks for the hundredth time. He's sat next to me in the grass, crisscrossed and hunched over as he twirls a strand or two around his finger.

"Are you going to drop it if I tell you?" I counter, following the rhythm of how this conversation has been going. Of course, Neji was the first one to notice deep and dark puncture wounds in my neck. He's also the only one aside from Sensei that has pieced together who they're from. The joys of having Neji as a squad leader.

"I'll either drop the question or drop him," he mutters, sparing me a glance before he checks on the other half of our squad. "Did you get him back?"

This is the third day in a row he's asked, the third day in a row that we've had this conversation, and it's easily the hundredth time we have over that short period. "I didn't get him back." I got him first, technically.

"Your ears look nice today."

"You're just stressed."

"So I have to be stressed to be nice?"

"Ya." A soft huff comes from him, eyes on me for a second before they're fixed on Tenten again. I don't mind the silence; not with Neji anyway. Silence with him is nice. Silence with Lee is filled with anxiety. Silence with Tenten is filled with awkwardness. Silence with Gai is... unheard of.

"Well look what the cat dragged in!" Of course, it has to be Kiba that disturbs my peace. "Hey, Pretty Kitty," he greets from behind me, his hands on my shoulders as he hunches over, his face dangling upside-down in front of mine.

I can feel the bitch stare settling in my face, just as much as I can feel the hatred brewing in my stomach. I hate dogs and Kiba is at the top of that list. "Don't touch me," I grumble, rolling my shoulders to try and shake his touch away.

"That's no fun," he chuckles, tightening his hold on me. "We had so much fun last time, do you not want to have fun again?"

"Scaring my teammate isn't fun," Neji pipes up, a glare pointed at the dog. His eyes do shift occasionally, catching glimpses of the healing scratches on Kiba's face.

"It's going to scar?" The mutt asks, a hand jumping up so he can rub his thumb across the mark he so eagerly left last time I saw him.

Neji's mouth snaps open to respond, but he gets cut off by Hinata calling for him. Slowly, his mouth closes and his eyes slide over to me. A silent 'Are you going to alright?' is stamped into them. I nod towards Hinata in response, certain that I'll be able to handle Kiba if need be.

Not a single word is spoken between the three of us as Neji gets up to leave. The whole time he shoots the dog a glare, the dog who doesn't notice because he is too busy gushing over the permit change he's responsible for.

"You got yourself a little watch dog I see," Kiba teases once Neji is far enough away not to hear. "Did I scare you that much, Kitty?"

"You didn't scare me," I grumble, shoving his hands off and quickly climbing to my feet before he has a chance to latch on again. "Neji is just a protective guy. It's how he is. You should know that. Hinata is on your squad after all."

Kiba chuckles, eyes stuck on me like a predator sizing up their prey, but only for a moment. The look melts away as he starts walking further into the long grass field. "Come along, Kitty. Let's go play nice so Kurenai-Sensei stops stressing out."

"I have no interest in - " I'm cut off by Kiba's dog snapping at my ankles, making me jump and hiss at the mutt in response.

Kiba freezes, turning around slightly so I can hear him better. "I'm not interested in spending time with you either but my Sensei is to the point in her pregnancy where stress is as bad as an illness. So, we're going to play nice today for her to feel better. You can come willingly or Akamaru can bully you along. The choice is yours." With that, he turns back around and starts walking to wherever in the field he's headed.

I shoot his dog a glare, paired with another hiss for good measure before I wander around after him. Despite his master easily being five steps ahead, the pony-sized dog sticks by my side, making sure I don't sneak off to find someone else to spend my confined afternoon with.

The grass tickles, the length falling just below my knees. It's one of the few long grass training fields the village has; the rest cut short to be better training grounds. I will admit it's a nice area, the long grass and wildflowers mixed to make a pretty sight and a beautiful smell. Nice and open with nothing but the green and blue of nature... but Gai-Sensei said this is where Squad Eight trains so I won't enjoy it too much.

"Sit," Kiba grumbles, plopping on the ground himself. His mutt instantly shoots forward, settling into a stretched-out lying position next to his master. I ignore him, keeping our five-step distance as I focus back on the random spouts of wildflowers curled into the grass. "I was talking to you," he adds, tilting his head backward to look at me.

"I don't take commands from you. Nice try though," I mutter, crossing my arms over my chest. Our Senseis just had to choose the most boring place imaginable for this, didn't they?

Kiba pushes himself onto his feet, crouching on the ground as he turns to look at me. His head tilts up, an elbow on his knee, and his head in his hand. "So you're just going to stand there the whole time."

"Yep."

"Your legs are going to get tired."

"Is that a fat joke?" I hiss, taking a step back when he starts waddling forward.

"No, it was a fact. I don't know what your Sensei told you, but mine told me she's planning to keep us trapped out here for a few hours, but fine. Go ahead. Stand for a few hours if that's what you want to do." With that he lets out a sigh, falling back into a seating position before letting himself lay down.

I eye him carefully, watching as he soaks in the sun, lying in the soft grass with his dog's muzzle resting on his chest. Slowly, I lower myself into a crisscross on the ground again, keeping my eyes on his mutt and my distance from both of them.

"He's not going to bite you," Kiba mutters, shaking his dog's head like I wouldn't have been able to put the pieces together.

"Ya, but his master will," I grumble, my hand instantly jumping up to press against the slowly healing bite mark. "His master that bites hard enough that Neji is convinced there'll still be a scar once it heals. I bet that strokes your ego."

"It does," he admits with a chuckle. "Though," he starts, sitting upright again, that predator-like look in his eyes again. "I got something else of mine I'd like you to have."

My heart thumps against my chest, eyes slit as I start leaning backward. I pick up on every single one of Kiba's movements. His slight lean forward, the heeling of his dog, the way his eyes are slit too as he scans me. My eyes flick to the side, scanning for one of our squad mates. "Don't do that," he husks, squatting back on the edge of his feet.

"You're being weird," I mutter, my breath picking up as the want-to-run burns in my veins.

"How is me getting you a gift weird?" He chuckles, daring to take a step forward. His cocky smile is resting on his lips, his canines poking out in his smile.

"It just is," I whisper, sliding backward a bit.

Kiba takes two steps forward this time, close enough to reach out and grab me if he wanted to. "Come here, Pretty Kitty," he chuckles, lunging forward. I shriek, turning to climb to my feet. He continues giggling, snatching my ankle and using it to pull me back down.

"Kiba," I hiss, squirming around and attempting to kick him off of me.

His laughter continues to fill the empty field, snatching my other ankle. This time he uses his hold to push my knees to my chest, leaning over me to use his body weight to keep me pressed to the ground. "Stop squirming so much," he tells me, leaning down so his face is hovering over mine. "I'm trying to give you a gift and this is how you react?"

"All you've gotten me is a bout of man-handling and being pressed to the ground," I yelp, reaching up to scratch at him.

Kiba beats me to it, his hand jumping up to snatch my wrist. He wraps up the other one too, shoving both of my wrists to the ground and keeping his hand on top so I can't wiggle them out. "Oh hush, Kitty," he whispers, shifting around so his torso keeps my legs folded up. His free hand wanders up too, dancing over my neck for a moment before untying my headband, letting it slip off and fall to the ground.

"What are you doing?" I hiss, trying to thrust up and knock Kiba off of me.

"Giving you a gift, duh," he attempts to tease. The teasing and his cocky smile pisses me off even more. On the other hand, the heat rolling off Kiba's body and the feeling of him pressed against me makes my veins fill with electricity.

His fingers dance over my throat again, eyes bouncing around my body as he paws at me. "Get off me," I grumble, trying to shift my legs enough to use them to kick him off of me.

"In a second," he mutters, tugging his burning touch away from my neck. Kiba shoves his hand in his pocket, searching around for something. The sparkle of the thing snags my sight, the metal catching every ray of sun that falls on it. "It's pretty, isn't it?" He hums, admiring me for a second before he focuses on me again.

"What is it?" I ask, looking over the object again. It looks like a linked chain, silver and shiny with a small lock on the end. The lock is open, dangling on the end of the links, and pressed into a heart shape. Only the keyhole disrupts the smooth material of it.

It takes a second, but I manage to click into place what it is on my own. "No. Kiba, no," I hiss, squirming under him again. "You are not putting that on me. I refuse."

"I am and you can't refuse," He chuckles, wiggling around on top of me. He struggles to keep me pinned and to sling the collar around my neck. He struggles even more to snag the lock around both ends of the chain and click it closed. "See? Pretty," Kiba mutters, tugging on the chain. "A pretty collar for a pretty kitty." He leans down, brushing his lips over the bite mark before letting me go.

"You're insane!" I yelp, jumping to my feet. "Take it off," I demand, tugging on the lock in hopes it's one of the cheap ones that snaps easily. "I'm not wearing this damn thing."

"Hate to break it to you, but you are wearing it. Like, actively wearing it." More chuckles and an active smirk cover his face as he climbs to his feet, dusting himself off as he stands up.

"I hate you," I hiss, bending down to pick my village headband off the ground. I grumble to myself, fixing my headband back around my neck, and using it to cover the collar as I walk away from the cackling mutt. I hate dogs, I hate Kiba, and I hate this collar.

I hate that I don't hate the collar. It's a pretty necklace and the weight of it feels good against my chest, but Kiba will have to torture that information out of me. He trudges behind me, occasionally reaching forward to tug in the collar. "My pretty kitty."

"I'm not your cat," I hiss at him, sending him a glare.

"You're an Izuno and you're wearing my collar. You're my cat."

"And you're a dick," I growl, snapping my head around the field in search of literally anyone else. Lee falls into my view, my body shifting to beeline towards him. "Go screw yourself Kiba."

I smell Kiba and his dumb dog before I see them. I've been ticked at him - more than usual - since the little grass field incident yesterday. Neji noticed something was off, because he always does, and promised to look into how to get the stupid collar off of me. Seeing how Kiba is close by, I'm guessing news of that got back to him. The only question is how.

     "I know you can smell me, Kitty. Don't try running away or I'll send Akamaru after you," his voice rings out from around the corner, followed by his barking laugh. I wonder if murdering him would be worth being labeled as a rouge.

     Before I can settle on an answer, his dog rounds the corner, instantly setting me as a target for his growl and the baring of his teeth. Dumb dog. Kiba follows, the grin on his face only growing when his eyes land on me. Dumb dog number two. "There's my pretty kitty."

     "I'm not your cat," I fizzle, my anger quickly growing.

     "Yes you are," he says, taking quick steps forward. I take a step back for every step he takes, which only seems to make him more excited. "Guess who paid me a visit today."

     "Your sanity?" I ask, my back tapping against a wall of one of the buildings, making me jump.

     I bump into Kiba because of my shock, his hands locking on my shoulders before gently pressing me against the wall. "Your little friend stopped by. Neji. He was pretty mad," he mutters, pressing his hips against mine to keep me pinned to the wall. "Want to know what we talked about?"

     "Not really. I do want you to get off me though."

     "In a second," he grumbles, sidelining my request. "Neji and I talked about your pretty collar," Kiba mutters, a hand sliding up, dipping under my headband, and twirling the chain of my collar around his fingers. "He seems to think you want it off," he continues, his free hand jumping up to toy with the ears buried in my hair.

     "I do want it off." I jerk my head away from him, trying to get his hand out of my hair.

     I don't get that, all Kiba does is bury his hand deeper into my hair, his fingers massaging my scalp as his thumb rubs against my ears. "You're keeping it. Even if Neji cuts it off you, I'll just buy another one and snap it back on around your throat."

     "Who decided you had the right to do that?"

    "Me," he mutters, head dipping down. His lips brush against my neck, his hand tightening in my hair and around my collar, as he stamps kisses against my throat. "You cats always play hard to get. Would it kill you to give in a bit?"

"I'm not playing hard to get. I just don't want you," I hiss, my hands falling to his hips and attempting to push him off of me. "I don't see why you're all of a sudden obsessing over me."

"Because you taste sweet," he chuckles, his tongue sliding out and over my neck to send his point home. "Oh, so sweet," he repeats before sinking his teeth into my throat, right back into the same spot from earlier this week.

"Nyaa," the sound spills from me before I can stop, hands tightening around the hem of his shirt, and my nails digging in, threatening to tear through the material.

"See? Just playing hard to get," he teases, rubbing his tongue over the reopened wounds. Kiba's words hang in the air as his nose slides over my skin, haunting down another spot to toy with. When he finds it, his teeth sink back into my skin, softly this time to toy with me like he did outside the restaurant.

They're light, with barely any pressure. Then he lets go. Just as I'm about to let out a sigh, he clamps back onto me, his teeth baring down and starting their assault on my skin. "Kiba," I try to hiss, the sound coming out more as a mew. "Why won't you knock it off?"

His jaw ticks for a second, teeth rougher for a moment before he pulls away. His eyes stay locked on the spot, looking it over in silence before sliding onto my face. "You're pissing me off."

"I'm pissing you off?!" I spat out, my anger sliding across my jaw, baring my teeth as I glare at the mutt. "You pinned me down and collared me yesterday, and now you have me pinned against the wall, but I'm pissing you off."

"Ya," he grumbles, releasing my hair finally. His hand drops down, tugging our village's headband off my throat just like yesterday. This time he shoves it into his pocket instead of disregarding it on the ground. "I give you a pretty bite mark," he starts, fingertips dancing over it. "And you go and have Neji look it over and heal it. Then, I give you a pretty collar," he tugs on the metal, twisting it to tighten it around my neck a bit. "And you go and hide it from the world with your dumb headband."

"I only let you bite me because I felt bad about scratching you. That doesn't give you the right to put a collar on me and prance around declaring I'm yours."

Again, I'm ignored. Kiba is off in his little world, toying with the metal around my neck and letting his fingertips dance over the two bite marks he's 'gifted' me. "I wasn't pinning you that bad yesterday, you just didn't fight me off. I'm pinning you now and you're not even attempting to fake fight me."

"You're stronger than me," I hiss, slowly climbing my hands up his shirt that I'm clinging to.

"Ya?" He asks, flicking his eyes up so they lock with mine. "Is that what you tell enemies you come across during missions too? 'Sorry Mr. Bad Guy but you're stronger than me so I can't fight you'." He cackles at his joke, head falling and tongue sliding out so he can lap at the newer marking.

"Of course not."

"Of course not," he echos, his nose back sliding across my neck, looking for the next chunk of flesh to sink his canines into. "You know, if you're thinking about scratching me again, I'll let you."

"What?" I spill out, the sentence catching me off guard and making my hands still in their place halfway up his shirt.

"You heard me," he whispers into my skin, his nose pushing up my collar and letting it rest across the bridge of it. Like the dog he is, Kiba goes back to licking me. The feeling of his tongue is quickly starting to ignite the electric feeling in my veins again; electricity that swirls down my neck, over my torso, and straight between my legs. "I'll let you scratch me. It was hot, the feeling made me horny. It's all I've thought about the past few nights. Hand around my dick, pumping myself to the feeling of your pretty little claws digging into my flesh."

"You're being weird again," I whisper, debating whether to scratch him or not. If he's being honest, it'll just please him. Or maybe he's lying to make me second-guess my defense. Maybe dogs aren't as dumb as I thought they were.

"I'm not being weird. I'm just being honest about something you're still lying about."

"I don't get off on scratching you."

"No, you don't, but you get off to me licking you, to me nibbling on your neck, to the pretty proof of me marking my territory."

My hands slide backward, nails digging in between his shoulder blades once I get a good enough grip. My fingers move slowly, tearing as deep into Kiba's shirt and skin as they can. It doesn't take long for my nails to rip his shirt, letting my fingertips press into his skin before it's torn to shred by my nails.

"Wan," Kiba's sound spills out, muffled a bit from his still-present latch to my throat. The hand not tied up in my collar shoots up, clinging to the dip in my elbow, but he doesn't tug my arm off of him. The mutt was telling the truth, he's into this shit, and he's right. I am too.

My hands fall off the edges of his sides, droplets of his blood dripping from my nails and colliding with the ground of the alley. Why did I leave Ino's flower shop using the side door? If I used the front door I wouldn't have ended up in this position.

Finally, Kiba releases me too, but not before running his tongue over his newest artwork. "See? I was right. You're into me."

"I hate you."

"You hate that your pussy gets wet for a dog," he counters, a completely correct counter, but I'll die on my hill yelling that he's wrong. Slowly, he pulls back, the chain of my collar tumbling from his nose and lying against the bite mark. "It hurts, doesn't it?" He asks, toying with the collar so it slides back and forth over the open wound.

"No," I lie through my - bared with pain - teeth. He's right, I do hurt. The three marks sting, mixing with the pain from the others to coat around my whole neck. Having the chain sitting on top of one of them makes it hurt more than the rest. Having it slide back and forth shoots new stabs of pain into my neck, leading to the pain attack filling my veins.

"Sure it doesn't, Kitty," he sighs, dropping his hold on the collar before releasing me from being trapped under him. "Hate to cut our play time short, but I got to go sit with Kurenai-Sensei. See you tomorrow, my pretty kitty."

"No, you won't!" I yell after him, watching him and his dumb mutt leave the alley. Dumb dogs. Dumb collar. Dumb bite marks. Dumb Kiba being correct.

hi!!! thank you for taking interest in my iteration, its means a lot. in my au usagi is a teen(around 16-17) who traveled from japan to new york because he “wanted to travel more.” in reality he is trying to avoid another encounter with jei, as the last one kinda scarred him a bit. the thought of jei being in any town he’s visiting took away the possibility of a peaceful night for him. 

gonna cut it off here since i just noticed how long this is haha

ayway, he definitely still sticks his nose into other people’s business and gets involved into things that were 100% avoidable.He would still be incredibly good with kids as well as helping anyone who needs it no matter how difficult the task is. Either way he still has a shit ton of warrants on his head!!!

Another thing that is absolutely vital to him is his inability to commit to anything🙏 he likes his life of wandering and it feels wrong to him to stay put in one place. he does not want his life to change and that doesn’t really help if he ever wants a relationship. to make it worse he will not speak about his feelings, i think he’d rather be struck by lightning.

the way he acted before moving to the hidden city was very different. he was much more carefree and always got into situations without much of a plan. he’d throw in some jokes in the middle of fights and hype himself up sometimes. i based off this phase of his life off of his younger self in the comics. but after this he tries to take things more seriously, keeping to himself and not breaking rules as often and acts like a dick sometimes . he gets better tho after hating leo for a while and gets to know him better.

i did change some characters a bit like katsuichi. he still lives as a hermit but took usagi in when he was much younger due to his dad passing. he takes on a more fatherly role than just a sensei for usagi. i dont see him calling him a cockroach or a head lice knowing this poor kid just lost his dad😭

kitsune, gen, and tomoe are living their lives back in japan. kitsune still lives as a street performer and a thief and shes having a good life rn honestly. shes knowledgeable in some mystic items as they’re usually a part of her performances. she’d be active on social media platforms, she’d have very organized posts. she’s also the one who reaches out the most to usagi; she pokes fun at him but she does it as a way to check in on him since the last time she really saw him he wasn’t in the best shape. i haven’t really gotten to gen yet, but he’s still a bounty hunter. he’d still be a bit of an ass when it comes to money or usagi. 

dont have much on tomoe, which is honestly a crime, but i have the idea that she is a student at her father’s school. i think she’d be entirely dedicated to her skills and wouldn’t have much time for anything else. she’d only ever see usagi if he’s visiting the geishu province. i plan on them leaving eachother on strained terms when he left japan, they’d eventually sort it out in the future though. there’s also chizu, who usagi has worked with in the past but eventually stopped. She’s completely dedicated to the neko ninja, willing to do everything she has to for their cause. she ended their friendship by deceiving him since “friendship is a weapon that is used by the ninja, but it can be much worse if the ninja develops feelings of friendship.”

 chizu is honestly a big reason who usagi heavily distrusted leo at first; his experience with ninja isn’t very pleasant

About the timeline, the antagonist make me feel curious if it's focused on the turtles enemies in which case it might refer more to Big Mama or Draxum, if it's Usagi Yojimbo I just think of Jei, if it's Space Usagi I think of Akira, losing that hand must have been a more satisfying scene than it actually was.

But, yes I meant more like Princess Miya (lovely name), the magical girls gave me Madoka Magica vibes, just me? I just can't with the designs are so pretty.

I have not yet read Space Usagi, but that might be an interesting one.. yes.. -takes notes- We'll see Neko Ninjas, Big Mama, (I don't think Draxum would fit well into the story, since he's a Yokai extremist-- he would have no reason to attack or prey on the people he swears to protect), the Krang will make an appearance in terms of the bad future from the movie (What are the Usagis up to in that time? How did they handle the Krang?) and yeah, you know, some of the feudal lords like Hebi and Hikiji, Jei, and some other stuff. It might be cool. Final Question : How Does Yuichi Feel? Well, at first, it seemed fine. Miyamoto (8) asks Yuichi (30) if he will be his sensei. Mizuki and Shuji are supportive, after all it's the Usagi way, so they tell their kid to ask Yuichi. Shuji thinks his brother is a much better samurai anyway. Miyamoto looks up to his uncle because of this fact (he adores his father as well) and this is when the two of them are the closest.

-- Miyamoto (9) watches Yuichi and Shuji (31) leave one day before scheduled training. Miyamoto is a little less than a year into his training, but he still isn't allowed to go on these particular errand runs with the twins. They are usually quick about it, but also extremely careful. Maybe when Miyamoto has more training, he can join them.

princess tutu re-watch, episode 15

awwww yeah, Coppelia episode!

(of all the ridiculous classic ballet plots, Coppelia is my favorite because it's literally "guy makes a doll so realistic, a teenage boy falls in love with it, only to nearly get sacrificed by its creator to bring her to life, but is rescued by his girlfriend pretending to be the doll, and then they get married like that whole thing didn't just happen". There's also an alternate, happier version where the creator helps the girlfriend troll her boyfriend for the lulz instead of trying to kill him, but either way, he gets a bag of money at the end, and it's a riot.)

also the parallels with Drosselmeyer, puppets, and everything going on with Rue and Mytho are obvious

Ahiru: Gosh, it sure was weird Mytho leaped out the window and I had to rescue him again! I sure hope nothing's wrong.

Fakir (watching Mytho sleep in a totally not-creepy way): I have no idea what's happening, but it's probably bad.

Fakir is right! It turns out that evil!Mytho is accusing Fakir of pushing him out of the window, and everyone believes it-- except for Ahiru, of course.

Neko-sensei's like, "look, you two, I've seen people do crazier things for love, so the best solution is for you two to no longer be roommates" but of course Mytho will not stop there.

conveniently, no one pays any attention to the random duck wandering around with a bundle of clothes on her back. Just a normal day at Gold Crown academy, apparently.

we learn from Pike that in addition to seeing Fakir push Mytho out the window, all of the eyewitnesses saw a "white bird" (Tutu) save him, as if he's protected by "the God of Dance", so not everyone can see her/notice the effects.

Mytho (looking at Pike and licking his lips): you have such a great heart. I'm going to eat it. Just rip it out and devour it whole. And--this is the best part--you're gonna thank me for it.

Fakir, your anger management issues and brusque manner, while understandable, are not winning you any friends here.

The evil raven is an eldritch horror living in what is basically a PMMM labyrinth, and a single talon dwarfs Rue completely.

here we see the real villain isn't Rue, but her "father", who has gaslighted her into believing herself ugly (because she's human) and that he and Mytho are the only people who can love her. Essentially, Rue is his tool, and so is Tutu, because only Tutu can restore the heart shards.

Fifteen episodes in, and we've learned more about Pike than in the previous fourteen episodes combined.

Rue mocking Fakir for his book learning may NOT be the most advisable decision when you're literally all characters in a story, hahaha

Pike sneaks out of the dorm at night and, ignoring all the major red flags, agrees to join Mytho's creepy cult of personality with zero hesitation whatsoever. Meanwhile, Ahiru manages to pass her stealth check for once.

I think this is the first time Ahiru has turned into Princess Tutu of her own will, without Drosselmeyer saying her name first

Lilie (with a tray): Good morning! Ahiru hauled your drunk ass back home after beating you to a pulp first!

Pike: Well, I don't know about that bit, but I sure was drunk… on love or something. What the hell was I thinking letting an older man lure me into isolated secondary locations even if he was hot and mysterious?

meanwhile, Fakir got suspended and is going home to Charon's place for brooding and serious research.

Fakir: Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions come back to haunt me. But it's fine, I don't care (he said caringly through gritted teeth).

(if that last sentence doesn't sum up Fakir's character, I don't know what does)

munashiro scenario where Adolf hears about the rumors that Munakata "has his personality in his glasses", so he decides to check if the rumor is real for Scientific Purposes™, and one night when they are supposed to sleep(Munakata keeps saying that he has some paperwork to finish and Adolf heard that a hundred times to know that he's not going to sleep but he's still trying to make Munakata go to bed), Adolf decides to pick up Munakata's glasses to put on himself and to tease Munakata, Munakata tries to stop him but its too late and Adolf is already with his glasses on his face, after that they go to sleep(because Munakata obviously cant see correctly without his glasses and Adolf just decided to sleep with his glasses for some reason, probably to not let him pick it), the next day Adolf starts to act like Munakata and that causes so much trouble to him and Munakata has to stop it.

(this is basically that one cd drama with the Silvers called 'Megane of Blue', but with Munashiro instead)

But now the glasses will take over Shiro’s body D: Imagine Shiro was stopping by S4 to pick Munakata up and heard some subordinates gossiping, talking about how Captain is so mysterious and I’ve heard his personality is in his glasses. Shiro thinks that’s funny, like how silly I’m sure that’s not the case. That evening they’re both getting ready to sleep and Shiro thinks about the gossip again, smiling mischievously as he plucks the glasses off Munakata’s face. Munakata requests his glasses back and Shiro reminds him that it’s time to go to bed and stop working. For extra measure he puts the glasses on his own face and adds ‘I believe rest is important in order to be freshly prepared for tomorrow’s work,’ in his best Munakata impression. Munakata is rather amused and closes his computer, leaning back to sleep since it doesn’t seem like Shiro will be giving his glasses back any time soon. Shiro ends up going to bed with Munakata’s glasses still on, initially he was just going to rest his eyes until Munakata was asleep and couldn’t steal them back but he’s tired enough that he just falls right asleep. 

The next day Kukuri hurries to find Kuroh because it seems there’s an emergency: German-sensei is making students cry. Kuroh says that isn’t like Shiro and goes to investigate, Neko meets him by Shiro’s classroom all upset because something’s wrong, Shiro is acting scary. Kuroh goes in to check and there’s Shiro with a pair of shiny glasses on his face, accompanied by someone with messy hair dressed in disheveled clothing. Kuroh asks Shiro what is going on and Shiro adjusts his glasses, smiling proudly as he says he was simply attempting to test his students’ mastery of their skills. He didn’t find the test to be difficult at all but perhaps he overdid it. Kuroh is all insistent like there’s something wrong, we need to solve this before you become a most hated teacher. Shiro doesn’t see how that is possible, it’s via such tests that he is bonding with his students.

That’s when the disheveled man speaks up and suggests that maybe a break would be good right now. Shiro says that isn’t there work to do, he would hate to be caught wanting when there is more yet to be completed. The other man laughs and says it’s fine, we’ll just take a little break and have a snack, he could use a bite. He adds ‘you’ll do it for me, won’t ya?’ and Shiro sighs fondly as he says very well. The man adds oh, perhaps y’can give my glasses back and Shiro’s all oh, my apologies, I forgot. He hands the glasses back and it’s only now that Kuroh realizes the other man is the Blue King, it’s like this aura suddenly settles over him once the glasses are on. Shiro laughs sheepishly and says he doesn’t know what came over him, Munakata pushes up his glasses and assures Shiro that it’s fine, let us be off on our coffee date. They head off together, leaving Kuroh staring after them in complete bewilderment, he doesn’t trust those glasses now.

“Well, well, well—What's going here, huh?~—”

Startled from the intrusion of another voice, I step back reflexively and look up in surprised, there, now standing next to Mukami Kuron— blonde hair and blue eyes under long lashes, isn't that—

Please do not simply touch a teacher like that in school as it's visibly inappropriate.”

“Eehhh, why so cold—Best, friend ☆ I'm only so kindly giving a little warning to our dear reckless student here so that she knows not to piss off a scary teacher like you in the future. That is, only if she wants to remain and survive till the end~ What's wrong with that ?”

“...In the school, you and me are considered as a different position thus don't start to presume you have the same standing as I do, not to mention being with a student with a glamorous golden record known for skipping classes...non, merci. Ch 22- K.T. turns into a girl!

After the kiss incident, let say the boys can’t help to blush and feel things and want to be something more to Tobio. Except that the manager knows what going on since they are best friends with Tobio and know what happen in gym when they were not there with Tobio.

They all thought ‘This is not just a crush…I love Kageyama/king/Tobio-chan/kun’

While for Tobio who with the managers helping with food including Takada-sensei himself to help prep for the meal for everyone or should the coaches say a celebration of the teams’ hard work at practice and can’t wait to see each other even their teams can play against each other.

The boys look each other see that they all have same feeling for Tobio as they were playing volleyball well try too at least as they were distracted from the kiss from cheeks and getting to know Tobio lot more and different side and emotion not only just anger.

In the way that English has different ways to spell things to give a certain sense, like typing "Oh naurrrr" or "oww my widdle fweelings", the oretacha is most likely the same I... just don't know what the sense would be, overconfident? child-like lisping? idk idk

also as a fun second note, the "ore" in oretacha is spelled in katakana, one of the uses is to emphasize.

but what's also very cute is that 息子 (musuko) has accompanying furigana reading タートルズ (turtles). furigana is usually written beside kanji to sometimes help kids/beginners read kanji correctly but also, in this context, to put a little joke that while yes, they are different animals they are still his sons who happen to be turtles.

this one I fiddled with, since その調子 (sono choushi) is more toward like "way to go!"/"that's the way (to do it)!" but translation gets tricky when you have to balance between direct meaning that does have a similar counter part with something more suitable in the language you're translating to and considering its context so! idk! best guess in keeping the joke in the same vein!
