If praying has ever worked for any of you, can you please pray that Jeremy comes back home. He ran away a few days ago and I'm heartbroken
#this whole situation is making me think of Boris too and i'm devastated#the first thing we did was ask our detestable neighbor if she saw Jeremy just to make sure she didn't do to him the same she did to Boris#Jeremy gets scared very easily and he's very shy; he hides when someone who isn't the immediate family comes to visit#and he has the weakest bladder imaginable. he pees himself when the vet -the only stranger he's forced to see- touches him#when we rescued him he was extremely malnourished. idk what they did to him before we adopted him but he's always been very nervous#I'm so worried

#duck speaks#they were going through a brain that was elementary school themed (like an elementary school but if it were weird mostly)#Otto and Bob had apparently already went in but they got lost or something so they went to find them and get them out#Helmut and Lucy and Cassie were sitting this one out I think. having fun elsewhere#a lot of the dream was like. going through a the halls and looking in the rooms (while also trying not to distract the kids)#or sometimes when you went in a room it would teleport you into a seat and you'd have to answer the questions correctly to get out#if you did something wrong it would restart I think#in one of the rooms though there was a flower pot with like.#a toy flower that had been grown really tall and large so that it could reach an open ceiling panel#oh I forgot to mention that this brain would make you small. shrunk#also for some reason Compton was leading this and Ford was following and doing what he said ?#he was kinda nervous and seemed like mostly he was winging it but Ford trusted him#anyways.#they figured that probably Bob grew that plant. which means him and Otto probably went up there#when they got into the ceiling it switched to be like. a neighbor and bus drop off ?#and they were in the bus but there was no driver. Ford took the driver's place and Compton would tell him which way to go#they drove around and helped kids (one of them brought their dog on the bus and it ran out the door and Compton had to go get it back)#but Bob and Otto weren't anywhere to be seen#I think they saw another plant somewhere but I woke up before they could check it out#I hope they found them wherever that one wouldn't taken them#psychonauts#<- forgot that#this is just what my dreams are like btw#they're beautiful and vivid and colorful and they always tell me some kind of story :]#and characters love to be in them also

always on my organizing grind gonna get my building unionized
#just ran into a neighbor who was asking about my electricity bill bc hers is obscene#and we started talking about the building upkeep and how she's nervous to ask for anything bc of the housing market#when the building was furnished 20+ years ago they put in wool carpets and at this point they're literally all infested w moths#but the management agency only changes them out when ppl get on to them#and only then after months of asking#and she's not the only neighbor i know of who has these issues#and yeah gonna talk to the tenants union organizer here and see if we can get a meeting together w people in the building#better to get organised now instead of scrambling when smth shitty happens like a mass eviction attempt#build trust and solidarity in the low moments so that when the crisis moments hit we've already got the infrastructure in place

1 more day here and then I'm gonna be heading back up to my apartment for the first time in over 2 weeks. Haven't stayed there since this all began. I've grown a bit of a routine here, and I'll be right back to my apartment, but without the prior norms of it.
It's home though. It's home.
I'll have to do a ton of cleaning and rearranging tho to try to fit as much of my father's furniture within my apartment. My apartment is so small and the furnitures so many. I'm determined tho. I'm gonna fit as much as I can. Took measurements today even of all the things I wanna take, so I can puzzle it out as I go.
I. Also. Need to bring June to the vet. Bc she's got worms. Lol. Lmao even. I am trying to not think about it rn.

I dressed up as a light rail train from my local transit agency for Halloween and someone took a picture of me during my morning commute and sent it to them. Little did I know that my transit agency posted the pic, and across platforms it’s gotten over 1.8k likes?!? Multiple people stopped me on my way home to ask for pictures or talk to me cause they’d seen me online. What a weird day.
#if you live in Portland and saw the pics of the MAX guy? that’s me lol#most of the comments online have been really sweet too which has been nice#especially since I was really stressed out and couldn’t sleep last night because I was nervous about wearing this costume#I also find it funny because in the picture from the morning I was on my phone. What was I doing on my phone?#I was studying for my transportation operations exam. literally caught me on transit dressed as transit studying transportation#overall the costumes reception has made me very happy and to me highlights exactly what I love about Transit.#because of my costume I’m making people smile and I’m getting to talk and connect with folks around me#many of whom I’ll never see again. my costume is helping connect my community and build bonds between us#that’s what transit does! when you share that space with other people and talk to them you are connecting with people in your community#people who you likely won’t ever see again! but those conversations still matter and are good!!#they connect us all to each other#everyone is a neighbor on transit. we are all connected on transit. we are all transit users.#and that’s a community that stretches into almost every other subcommunity in the community at large#transit connects people - not only from place to place but also with each other#googoogajoob

catch me fighting with umg bc my order from november (black friday/cyber monday) still hasn't shipped. i was originally told that it was bc of the "magic, madness, heaven, sin" baby tee and it would ship by today, but I reached out and there was a "delay in receving this inventory" yet i've seen other people get the same baby tee in less than a week??
make it make sense
#back on my “i hate umg” train#like i just want my stuff bc it also includes the idsb tee and the getaway car keyholder#also i'm nervous about it shipping when i'm on vacation in two weeks#mostly bc fedex and other mail carriers in my area have been horrible about getting the correct mail to the right people#literally the day after i got my 1989 cardigan#fedex delivered a whole case of chocolates (christmas gifts for coworkers) to one of our neighbors#and usps has been bad about not actually checking addresses before just shoving mail in our mailbox
