I gotta say, I love James Tolbert in VHSCCs. In the first song, when Scrooge mentions keeping his "many pennies away from lazy peasants" James just stops and goes:

He's literally telling him to calm down and AJ just goes "aight, yeah, sorry"

BUT LATER!!

We have to skip AAAAALLLLLL the way to Christmas Electricity and the interlude where they go to the Cratchits.

Scrooge: You've taken me to see some random family-

Christmas Present: Uh huh!

Scrooge: -who I've never seen, but they look pretty poor.

I love the reactions from Starkid actors all the time, but James stands out to me so so much in this and I am living for it. He's such a joy to watch.

what are YOU doing at the devil's sacrament, except it's me going for a bathroom + water run at 3am, only to find both of my parents awake doing random stuff and tea, which led to me and dad watching a bunch of youtube videos on strange musical instruments until almost 5am. i guess we now know how a hurdy gurdy operates tho 🤷‍♀️

Oh my god, I finally understand why everyone raves about London Calling by The Clash. Holy fucking shit is that an amazing album!

I already knew and loved "London Calling" and "Train in Vain", but hearing the album in full is like nothing I was expecting. Holy shit. I especially loved "Rudie Can't Fail", "Lost in the Supermarket", "Clampdown", "The Guns of Brixton", and "The Card Cheat" (for this last one I have to say: it doesn't matter if they're a punk band - I will always love piano in a rock song. ALWAYS. ...well, at least, given that it's played well).
