No one asked but I’ve decided to post one of my favorite original smut works!
Yandere Short Story: Insatiable
Yandere monster x Afab reader x Yandere ex fiancé
Minors DNI
8.4k words
“Cedric?” A tall, dark haired man glanced up from his paper work to see his small wife at the door. His red eyes gazing at her coldly. “Oh, sorry… my lord. You didn’t reply to any of my letters so I decided to come see you myself. I was wondering if you had time to-“
“I’m busy with work. How about you go take a walk or something seeing that you’re not busy with anything.” Cedric replied coldly, causing the young woman to glance sadly at her hands.
“Oh… I’m sorry-“
“Stop with your needless apologies and shut my door. You’re letting the cold air in.” Cedric hissed before returning to his mountain of paper work.
“Good bye, my lord.” (Your name) softly whispered, a sad look in her eye. The young woman shutting the door before looking at the small, cloth bag beside her. Its contents being one change of clothes, a pouch of water, and some bread.
(Your name) had finally decided to leave him. Her feelings for him had gradually disappeared over the years of being engaged to him seeing that he couldn’t even return a fraction of what she felt for him. It was time for her to leave this loveless, joyless place and to go live as a commoner. Hopefully Cedric would eventually read the letter she had sent him a few days ago about annulling their marriage.
The young woman pulled her tattered cloak over her head, making her way down the manor’s steps with ease.
Not a single servant paying her any mind. A smile made its way to her lips at the thought of finally no longer having to sit in her cold room up in the tower. How she’d be able to travel wherever she wanted and maybe she’d even find someone to love her eventually. How she could finally have friends that didn’t need her husband to pay them to talk to her.
(Your name) soon stood outside the gloomy palace, a smile on her lips. The young woman giving the palace one last look before she headed into the forest.
“Good bye. I won’t miss you.” She then headed into the dark silent forest. Set on leaving the Southern empire forever.
.

“This tea is bland and terrible.” Cedric complained to his maid who began to sweat nervously. “Why isn’t it here on its usual time and why isn’t it its normal flavor?”
“Ah… the duchess usually takes care of that…” the maid replied before giving the lord a bow. “None of us have seen her in awhile so we had to brew some older leaves.”
Cedric sighed before rising from his chair, causing the maid to gulp at how large he was.
“That stupid woman. I’ll go see what she’s up to now then I guess.” Cedric made his way towards the east end of the manor, climbing up the flight of stairs to (your name)’s room.
A frown forming on his face when he didn’t see a single servant on this side of the manor. Where were all the servants? Shouldn’t she have some around here to clean it?
Cedric stood before the door at the top of the tower. His hand pressing against the old wood. A frown on his face.
“My lady. Can you open the door?” No response.
“My lady?” Cedric pressed his knuckle against the door, causing the door to squeal open. Red eyes widening in shock at the tattered blanket that sat on top of a pile of hay. This couldn’t be her room…
Where was her bed? Her dresses? Cedric burst into the room examining everything in disbelief.
“Can I lay with you, Cedric? It’s starting to get cold?”
Cedric frowned at the memory. (Your name) really was cold wasn’t she? And he always turned her away…
A small desk with letters littering the top of it caught his attention. Was this the only thing she had in her room? As a duchess, she only had this small desk?
Red eyes narrowed at all the letters that were dated and addressed to him. Cedric quickly opened one of the older letters his eyes softening at its contents.
‘I finally was able to get the maids to teach me how to make that chamomile tea you like so much. I hope we’ll be able to drink it together someday. When you’re not busy of course. I love you, Cedric.’
Cedric opened another letter, a dried sprig of baby’s breath falling out of the envelop. His pale fingers picking it up with utmost care. Red eyes scanning over the delicate hand writing.
‘Did you know baby’s breath means everlasting love? Isn’t that neat? I hope that our love is ever lasting as well. I’d like to go on a picnic with you while it’s still spring. If you’re not busy of course. I love you, Cedric.’
‘Today, I saw a pair of swans in the pond in the garden. Did you know swans stay together for life? I read that in a book in the library. I thought it was pretty neat. Maybe it’s childish of me to think that way, but I hope we’ll be like that. I love you, Cedric.’
Cedric continued to tear apart the letters with fervor. Sweat dripping down his neck as his hands began to shake. All of these letters and he’s never read any of them from her… he always returned them back to her… always ignored her… he was starting to get scared…
‘It’s getting colder up in the tower but the maids took my bed. They said they’re freezing too. Is there anyway I could also have some new blankets. I hope that’s not too much of a bother for you. Thank you. I love you, Cedric.’
‘I’ve been sleeping in the library over the winter. I hope that doesn’t interfere with your work. I heard there’s a ball upcoming in the neighboring empire. I’ve never been to a ball before. Is there anyway we could go? I’d really like a new dress. The one I had all these years is starting to get a little loose since we’re so scarce on food. Thank you. I love you, Cedric.’
There was no scarcity in food. Who on earth hadn’t the servants been feeding her? Who took her bed? Her blankets?
Cedric sorted through the letters until the last one stuck out to him.
His pale hand opened the letter, his eyes widening in shock. She had filled out divorce papers… why would she do that?
‘I don’t think you’re ever going to read this until you’ve realized I left. But I want a divorce. I can’t live like this. It’s so cold and miserable here. No one talks to me here. I found out that the only acquaintance I had here, you were paying to talk to me so I wouldn’t bother you… and I was really hurt by that. If I’m really that awful to be with, I’ll go. I just want you to be happy, Cedric. Even if it’s not with me. So good bye, Cedric. If you try to have a conversation with me in a few days I may reconsider but if not, you’ll find this then. I’ll probably be halfway through the forest by then. Good bye, Cedric.’
Cedric began to shake. She had stopped by his office and he had turned her away… he unknowingly sent her away… he sent his loving wife away in the wild… wait.
Didn’t she know the forest was infested with monsters?
“Guards! Hurry. Send a search party to the forest, now!” Cedric threw the letter to the side, screaming on the top of his lungs. His legs running as fast as he could down the steps and through the palace.
The guards rising up in shock before quickly springing into action.
“The duchess has gone missing! She could be in danger!” Cedric shouted, the Duke running to grab his sword and horse. “We have to find her by all means necessary!”
Cedric frowned as he glanced at the dark forest. His eyebrows furrowed in worry. He prayed she was safe. He was so lucky he noticed her absence in just a day…
.
.
.
(Your name) hummed as she walked through the forest without a care in the world. So far, she’s been lucky and she hasn’t ran into a single monster.
She knew there was a possibility she could run into danger but she truly believed the monsters wouldn’t bother her if she didn’t have a weapon on her. Plus, there wasn’t much meat on her bones since she wasn’t being fed at the palace.
“Don’t you know there’s monsters in the woods?” A voice hissed at (your name), causing the girl to glance at a tall man wearing silver armor with an unfamiliar, blue crest on it. The silver helmet completely covering his face.
Well at this point in her journey, she’s going to disregard the stranger danger rule.
“Oh I know. I’m just passing through is all.”
“Either you’re a very brave woman or a very stupid one.” A laugh left her throat as she smiled at the stranger.
“A little of both. I’m just going anywhere to start a new.” The girl smiled at the knight before continuing her way.
“Wait up!” The male trudged after her, standing above her. “You can’t just go walking in the forest by yourself. What if you get kidnapped or killed-“
“Then I get kidnapped or killed.” The knight held in a laugh before offering her an arm.
“I can lead you out of the forest if you’d like. My name is Etrian by the way.”
“That’s a nice name.” (Your name) replied, taking the knights arm. “You can just call me (your first name).”
“Hmm. You have a pretty name.” Etrian smiled at the girl, causing her to furrow her brow.
“It’s a very basic name. It’s not even worth remembering so you can call me anything you’d like.” Etrian tilted his helmet down in worry at her words. Wherever she came from, she more than likely never was treated with kindness.
“I like your name so I’ll call you, (your name).” Etrian replied, causing (your name) to giggle.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed… thank you, Etrian.” Etrian gave (your name)’s hand a comforting squeeze.
“I was on my way to the Lancaster Palace but I think a damsel in distress is much more important at the moment.” Etrian puffed his chest out, causing (your name) to erupt in giggles again.
“Maybe I should call you the brave one then for traveling alone, Etrian.” (Your name) gave Etrian a smile, the male shaking his head in embarrassment.
“It’s a knight’s duty.”
(Your name) laughed some more, allowing Etrian to lead her through the forest. Their playful banter continuing.
.
.
.
Cedric searched the woods with fervor. Easily slaying any monster that crossed paths with them.
“My lord. We found the body of the Northern empire’s diplomat and his party but…”
“But what? Did you find the Duchess?!” Cedric hissed, his red eyes coldly looking at the corpses of the northern empire’s men. But one was missing their armor.
“Where’s his armor?”
“That’s what I’m afraid of. It appears a monster may be parading around as a knight.” Cedric sighed before glancing nervously in the forest. He really hoped (your name) didn’t run into that monster…
.
.
.
“Etrian. Do you like being a knight?” (Your name) asked her companion who hummed in response.
“Not really. It’s kind of boring actually.” Etrian responded, his eyes glancing at (your name). “Especially listening to a lord’s orders all the time and standing guard? It sucks.”
(Your name) laughed at his response. “At least you’re honest, Etrian.”
“What about you, (your name)? What were you?”
(Your name) smiled sadly as she glanced at the forest floor, causing Etrian to raise his hands up in alarm.
“Oh I didn’t mean to upset you-“
“I was nothing.” (Your name) replied with a solemn look in her eye. “Have you ever felt like that before? Like nothing? My existence didn’t matter where I came from before and after I ended up here.”
Etrian placed a gentle, leather gloved hand on (your name)’s arm. “No I understand completely.”
“Thanks, Etrian. You’re really nice even though I think you’re really strange.”
“How am I strange?”
“You abandoned the task at hand for me, which is very suspicious. But I appreciate you traveling and talking with me… I can’t remember the last time I actually had a conversation with someone.”
Etrian gave her a nod, trying his best not to have his helmet fall off his head.
“Isn’t that helmet uncomfortable? You could always take it off.” Etrian held up his hands as he began to laugh.
“Maybe once we make it out of the forest.”
“Alright. Keep your secrets then.” (Your name) giggled, Etrian watched her walk a little further a head. A black tentacle creeping out from the helmet before quickly slipping back in.
.
.
.
Cedric continued searching, a smile on his face once he saw a pair of footprints.
“She went this way!” Cedric shouted to his men. The men all nodding their heads before following the tracks. “She can’t be far-“
Cedric’s red eyes widened when he saw a second pair of footprints beside hers. Their tracks barely as visible as hers.
“The monster is with her!” Cedric began to breath heavily, his hands shaking as he held the reigns to his horse tightly. He was going to find her. Cedric just prayed nothing happened to her.
.
.
.
“Etrian. You’re really light on your toes.” (Your name) stated, causing Etrian to laugh. “Do you like sneaking around?”
“It’s just an unconscious habit of mine-“ an arrow whizzed by Etrian’s head, causing a scream to leave (your name)’s throat.
“Jesus-“
“My lady, step away from the monster!” one of the knights from the southern empire shouted, pointing his bow and arrow at Etrian.
“Monster? That’s Etrian-“ (your name) replied, only for more knights to show up.
“One of the knight’s armor was missing at the carriage accident up ahead-“
“I can actually explain that.” Etrian replied as he grasped the helmet of his armor before pulling it off. Revealing a handsome man with long silver hair and blue eyes to all the knights. “It’s me. Duke Graham.”
“Duke Graham?! I can’t believe it’s you!” One of the knights laughed, the others all releasing their breath that they were unconsciously holding. “You were the only one missing from the carriage.”
(Your name)’s eyes widened in horror. While everyone else saw a handsome man, she saw a giant black octopus like creature as the head of the knight. Her body started convulsing in shivers.
“Are you alright, (your name)?” Etrian asked with worry laced in his voice, reaching a hand out to her. The tentacles moving in every which way, causing (your name) to hyperventilate and take a step back in fear.
“(Your name)!” Cedric rushed over to her, quickly separating her from the monstrous Duke. Cedric quickly dismounting his horse to hold (your name). “I’m so sorry. Please don’t run off again.”
(Your name) didn’t return Cedric’s hug, her eyes focused on the black octopus monster that was known as Etrian.
“Let’s head back home, okay? And Duke Graham. You can ride on one of the other horses we have here with one of the knights. My wife will ride with me.” Cedric stated, hoisting (your name) up on his horse.
(Your name) cast one last look at Etrian, the tentacles waving at her which on caused her to tear up even more.
While with the guards, they only saw Etrian give (your name) a warm smile and a wave. Why was she so scared of him? It wasn’t like she was seeing a monster.
.
.
.
“Why did you try to run off into the forest?” Cedric asked (your name) who sat in the sofa in his office with a blanket tightly wrapped around her. “You could’ve died-“
“It would’ve been better than being here.” (Your name) muttered, pulling the soft blanket closer to herself. “Anything is better than here.”
Cedric stood up from his desk, sitting himself beside (your name).
“I’m going to start being a better husband. I moved your room to be next to mine now and you have a bed again. I also am currently working on investigating all of the staff that has mistreated you. They’re going to have their hands cut off for stealing and then exiled-“
“That’s alright. You don’t have to do any of those things.” (Your name) sighed, wrapping the blanket around her even tighter. “I would like to head to my room. I’m quite tired.”
Cedric held a hand out for (your name) to take, which she ignored. The young woman choosing to stand up with her blanket securely wrapped around her.
“Would you like to have dinner together then?”
“No. Just send it to my room please. It’s kind of late for all of those things, don’t you think?” (Your name) asked, avoiding eye contact with Cedric.
“I… I’ll try more. Just please don’t run off like that again.”
(Your name) opened the door to her room before shutting it quickly. The duchess laying down on the bed in defeat. She really was wishing she would’ve left this place.
It was a shame Cedric had no intention of letting her go. Not to mention that Etrian was also staying with them for the time being.
.
.
.
Etrian sat in Cedric’s office sipping some hot tea. Blue eyes meeting red orbs.
“Thanks for keeping my wife safe-“
“Why did she run off?” Etrian hummed, causing Cedric to glare at him.
“It’s none of your concern, Duke Graham.” Cedric hissed, causing Etrian to smile. Cedric narrowed his eyes at the doll like man.
“She’s really pretty.” Etrian smiled at the peeved expression on Cedric’s face.
“What brings you to the Southern Empire?” Cedric gritted his teeth at Etrian who only gave him a hum.
“Mostly for trading business but seeing that my men were mauled to death and looted by your monster infested forest, I’ll have to wait awhile till we can proceed in business. I may have to stay here awhile as well.”
Cedric sighed in defeat. His red eyes narrowing at Etrian. This was probably the most Etrian has spoken to Cedric in their entire life so far… and it irked Cedric.
“Alright. I can let you stay for awhile. Just please don’t cause any trouble for me.”
“I won’t.” Etrian smiled, causing Cedric to place a hand on his temple.
“I’ll have the maids organize a room for you.”
Etrian beamed at Cedric, his blue orbs shining mischievously. He couldn’t wait to see (your name) again.
.
.
.
Etrian wandered the halls, ignoring the excited whispers of the maids when he passed by. The silver haired man had adjusted well to the staff’s ramblings of his appearance.
“Isn’t Duke Graham really handsome?” One of the maids asked another, causing the other maid to nod in agreement.
“Just like a porcelain doll.”
“I heard he’s unmarried.”
Etrian made his way over to the library, his blue eyes widening once he saw (your name) sitting in a chair in the far back corner. Her focus completely on the book in front of her.
“Ah. (Your name).” Etrian smiled at the duchess, who gave him a nervous glance. Her eyes completely avoiding eye contact with him. “May I sit with you?”
“S-sure.” Etrian pulled out the chair beside (your name), the wooden legs squealing across the floor.
“What are you reading?” Etrian asked, causing (your name) to nervously glance up from her book.
“Oh it’s just a fairy tale story…” (your name) shyly replied causing Etrian to furrow his brow.
“I’m quite fond of fairy tales. Which one is it?”
“Beauty and the beast...”
“That’s my favorite one.” Etrian smiled, his tentacles flailing around excitedly, much to (your name)’s fear. “My mother used to read it to me all the time as a child.”
“That’s really nice.” Etrian tentacles suddenly laid flat on the table, one of them laying on (your name)’s shoulder as if to show that he was concerned for her.
“What’s wrong? You haven’t really looked at me since the forest.” (Your name) gulped, her hands trembling when the tentacles began to slowly caress her body.
“I… I’ve just never seen anyone that looks like you is all…” (your name) replied honestly. She wasn’t wrong. She’s never seen someone with a black octopus like head before and she was terrified.
“Oh… is my appearance not to your liking-“
“My lady. The lord is looking for you.” The butler interrupted her and Etrian’s conversation, the young woman quickly rising up to her feet.
“Ah. Sorry, Etrian. I have to get going.”
Etrian clutched his chest, his heart beating rapidly in his chest. Could she really see him for what he truly was?
Etrian glanced at the book she was reading in awe. Was their story going to be just like beauty and the beast? Pure ecstasy consuming him.
She had to be just like his dad. His mom always told him his soul mate would be able to see his true form just like dad could see hers.
“(Your name)…” Etrian couldn’t wait to find out.
.
.
.
“You called for me, my lord?” (Your name) bowed her head to Etrian, who frowned at her formality.
“I did call for you, (your name).” Cedric motioned for his butler to go bring some tea for the two of them. “I’d like to have some tea with you-“
“I’m not very fond of tea.” (Your name) wrapped her arms around herself, ignoring the disappointed look on Cedric’s face. “But thank you for the invite.”
“How about a walk in the garden? You love the garden.” Cedric asked, a hopeful tune in his voice. (Your name) frowned. Didn’t he acknowledge that she had sent him divorce papers? Why on earth was he trying to court her now, of all times?
“Alright…” Cedric held out an arm for her, which (your name) hesitantly took. The dark haired Duke leading her down the halls and towards the garden.
A certain silver haired man watching them from the library’s window. His blue eyes studying the discomfort on (your name)’s face.
“You’re not comfortable around that man are you, (your name)?” Etrian softly whispered to himself, his blue eyes memorizing her soft features on her pretty face. “I wonder if I can make you smile again…”
Etrian’s shadow revealed his tentacles flailing about in excitement. The birds that sat near the window quickly flying away in fear of the monster that was in the palace.
.
.
.
It was a stiff silence between Cedric and (your name). The two walking side by side in the garden without muttering a word to each other.
“There’s some swans in the pond, (your name)…” Cedric smiled, softly breaking the silence. His red eyes glancing at her face, his eyes lighting up when he saw her smile at the swan pair.
He had finally found something that seemed to make her smile… Cedric was starting to get really worried about saving their relationship, especially with someone like Etrian in their home. Cedric had to admit that he was jealous of how beautiful Etrian was but he felt that there was something incredibly off about the silver haired male. Even when they were children, he was almost completely emotionless but he wasn’t that way around (your name)… it was very unsettling to Cedric.
“(Your name), do you like Etrian?” (Your name) froze, her eyes wide at Cedric’s question.
“I wouldn’t say like or dislike… I’m…” Afraid. (Your name) thought to herself. I’m afraid of him. “Indifferent towards him. He’s a Duke from the northern empire so I have to be respectful to him is all.”
Cedric hummed, the Duke satisfied with her answer. His wife was a very respectful young lady, he didn’t doubt her answer at all.
(Your name) narrowed her eyes at Cedric. Cedric couldn’t be jealous, could he? It wasn’t his place after years of being together without him ever caring about her personal life or feelings.
“It’s cold. I’m ready to head back inside.” The couple made their way back in, unaware that Etrian had overheard their conversation.
The silver haired man determined to have (your name) change her mind about him.
.
.
.
Etrian had found out many things about (your name) over the last few weeks he’s been staying in the Lancaster’s palace.
(Your name) used to live in a tower here, she didn’t like tea, she liked to write and read, her favorite food was (favorite food), she liked to eat pudding sometimes as well, her favorite color was (favorite color), and she was almost always alone. Just like Etrian usually was.
Etrian was thrilled to be finding out all this information from the maids who were more than thrilled to talk to him. The Duke was especially happy that one of the maids had even slipped up and told him that (your name) was trying to divorce the Duke. It made Etrian’s heart soar at the thought of (your name) being on the market for marriage.
It wasn’t very hard for him to bribe one of the maids into sending that paper work to the emperor either. Which would make his end goal even easier to achieve.
Etrian peaked his head in the library, a smile on his face when he saw (your name) sitting in a chair, sketching some birds that sat in the window. He’d have to add drawing to his mental list of her hobbies.
“Hello, (your name).” (Your name) nearly jumped out of her shoes when Etrian snuck up behind her. One of his tentacles affectionately caressing her cheeks, something she tried to ignore.
“H-hi, Etrian.” (Your name) responded quietly. Placing her pencil down on the table.
“I haven’t seen you in a minute. I missed seeing you around.” (Your name) tried to hold her tears in when his tentacles slowly began to wrap around her body, caressing her affectionately.
Over the course of Etrian’s stay, she’s noticed that his tentacles tend to tell his emotions. She could tell when he was excited, upset, annoyed, happy, or even sad. And the tentacles were especially fond of her, touching her any chance they got, much to her displeasure.
“I’ve been around. I’ve just been spending a lot of time with my husband is all.” (Your name) tried not to flinch when she saw the tentacles suddenly point at her like swords. It’s seems she upset Etrian by mentioning Cedric. “I didn’t mean to neglect you.”
The tentacles instantly relaxed, going back to their idle position of affectionately caressing her.
“How about you draw me?” Etrian asked, a soft smile on his lips. He really wanted to know how (your name) saw him.
(Your name) smiled, opening a new page to her sketchbook, her body shaking when Etrian took a seat in front of her. The black tentacles retracting into themselves, as if they too, were folding together like his black gloved hands on the table.
(Your name) shakily got to work. Tears gathering in her eyes as she continued sketching the monster she saw in front of her.
Etrian frowned at her nervous expression. Why was she so nervous? Didn’t she understand that they were soulmates because she could see him?
(Your name) glanced up, her face going pale when she saw two tentacles directly pointed at her eyes. The tentacles opening up to reveal two icy blue eyes staring directly at her.
Etrian smiled brightly. She finally made eye contact with him-
A lord thump was heard, (your name) had fallen out of her chair. Etrian quickly rose up, his hand grasping (your name)’s shoulders, helping her up.
“Are you alright, (your name)?” His eyes widened at the drawing that she had made so far. A dark octopus like head sat on top of his body, a deranged smile crawling on Etrian’s lips. He was so excited. She could see him.
“I-I’m sorry, Etrian. I… I need to go.” (Your name) stuttered out before she grabbed her book. “I’ll see you around!”
Etrian could only watch as she took off, his blue eyes glancing at the pencil she had dropped in excitement.
She could see him… she could see him. The real him. The monstrous curse his mother and him both had.
Etrian picked up the discarded pencil, blue eyes glancing around the library, making sure no one was watching him.
Etrian then placed the pencil in his mouth, suckling on the wooden utensil as his eyes rolled back in his head. Etrian wondered how her fingers would taste in his mouth when he-
Oh he was getting a little too far ahead of himself. He needed to calm down a bit before revealing his insatiable lust for her.
A very disturbed Cedric stood outside of the library. Why in the world was Etrian eating a pencil?
The dark haired Duke now more determined than ever to keep Etrian away from his wife. By all means necessary.
.
.
.
(Your name) laid in her bed. Her form covered in a lightweight, white gown. It was a little chilly at night, but nothing she couldn’t manage. It was the feeling of eyes on her that she couldn’t shake off.
(Your name) slowly rose from the bed, shutting the curtain to her balcony. The feeling still not leaving her. Perhaps she was being paranoid after the library incident.
(Your name) made her way back to bed, the duchess pulling as many blankets as she could on top of herself. Maybe if she went to sleep, she’d be able to relax?
As (your name) drifted off, she failed to notice a body laying under her bed. A certain silver haired man crawled out from underneath her bed before he stood over her, blue eyes greedily taking in the sight before him.
Tentacles gently began to caress her body, a soft groan leaving her throat before she unconsciously cuddled into the warm appendages, causing a smile to crawl on Etrian’s face.
He knew she would grow used to him. Maybe if he started visiting her every night, she’d stop fearing him as much. Etrian reached a hand out to brush some of her hair out of her face.
His soulmate was so pretty and cute… he couldn’t wait to steal her away from here…
Etrian hummed before walking over to her little desk in the corner. The male setting down a small (favorite flavor) pudding on her desk.
Hopefully she’d like his little surprise for her.
.
.
.
(Your name) had terrible nightmares last night about a certain tentacle man. Her body covered in a light sheen of sweat.
“My lady, your husband would like to have breakfast with you.” One of the maids said at the door, the maid’s eyes widening at the helping of pudding on (your name)’s desk. “Did you order pudding last night?”
“Pudding?” (Your name) furrowed her brow in confusion before her eyes widened in shock at the (favorite flavor) pudding that sat on her desk. “I didn’t ask for pudding…”
(Your name) smiled softly. Maybe Cedric had gotten her some. He has been a lot more attentive lately.
“Tell him I’ll be there. I just have to clean up a bit.”
The maid nodded before heading off, leaving (your name) to wonder who left her the mystery pudding.
.
.
.
“Thank you for the pudding, Cedric.” Cedric furrowed his brow in confusion at (your name)’s statement. “It was a nice sweet treat to have after a nightmare last night.”
“Pudding? I never sent you pudding.” (Your name)’s face turned pale at Cedric’s words, a concerned look now on Cedric’s face as well.
“Then who knew I liked pudding and even my favorite flavor?” (Your name) nervously glanced over to the side. A certain man with a black octopus head, began to flail around excitedly before holding its tentacles like a shy school girl. And why were they slightly wet this time?
Cedric followed her gaze, his eyes narrowing at the stoic Duke. There was no way Etrian was holding a torch for his wife right? Etrian wouldn’t sneak into her room to drop off pudding… no. Etrian was eating a pencil the other day. There was a chance Etrian was weird enough to break into a lady’s room.
“Good morning, Duke and Duchess Lancaster.” Etrian bowed to the other dukes, his blue eyes studying Cedric face while his tentacles excitedly rubbed (your name) face. “I will be heading back to my empire in a week. I had a lovely stay here.”
“I’m happy to hear that, Duke Graham.” Cedric gave Etrian a tight lipped smile, red eyes focused on the uncomfortable expression on (your name)’s face.
“I also heard a fun little rumor during my stay here.” Etrian placed a hand over his chin, an amused expression on his face. “I heard you two are getting a divorce.”
“That isn’t going to happen now-“
“Well you should’ve told that one little maid. Seems she sent the paperwork over to the emperor-“ Cedric quickly rose to his feet, his loud voice booming at the staff to quickly intercept the letter to the emperor.
Etrian and (your name) now the only two left in the dining room. Etrian turned his head towards (your name), causing her to gulp in fear.
“You’ll be single by the end of this week and I’ll be leaving home. When the emperor gets that letter, you’ll be demoted to a commoner.” Etrian cooed, his tentacles tightly wrapping around (your name), Etrian pulling her hand up to his face. Her body flinching when she felt his soft lips press against her hand. “So why don’t you become my wife? You won’t have to live as a commoner then and I’ll treat you well. Plus you can see what no one else can…”
“What?”
“Don’t play dumb. You can see me. The real me. And I can show you pleasure you’ve never felt before. Just think about it. I have 8 extra appendages compared to the average man.” Etrian whispered in her ear. “I’m also one of the richest men in the four empires. You’ll never have to struggle or starve again.”
“Why me?” (Your name) whimpered, the tentacles slowly moving lower on her body, a few teasingly squeezing her legs and hips.
“Because you can see me just like my dad can see my mom. Don’t you get it? We’re soulmates, baby.”
(Your name) nearly cried when he pulled away. The tentacles smoothing out the wrinkles in her clothes.
“Just think about it, okay?” Etrian smiled, the tentacles flailing around excitedly. “I promise you’ll be very happy.”
“You bastard!” An angry Cedric hissed, a fist colliding into Etrian’s face, the silver haired man barely moving. The tentacles now pointing at Cedric like swords, causing (your name) to freeze in terror. “Why would you do that?! You sent that letter a week ago-“
“You don’t appreciate your wife. I found all those letters, Cedric.” A taunting chuckle escaped Etrian’s throat, the tentacles sharpening as they prepared to strike Cedric at any moment. “You’ve probably never even touched her-“
“Please stop!” (Your name) stood in between the two, tears cascading down her face. Cedric’s heart clenching at her terrified expression. It was just an argument, why was she so scared? “I’ll go with you. Just please don’t hurt Cedric. Please…”
Cedric froze when he saw the thrilled smile on Etrian’s face. Leather gloves hands held (your name) face with such tenderness, it made Cedric sick to his stomach.
“I’ll make you so happy. You’ll never be sad again.” Etrian cooed, his blue eyes gleaming at Cedric. “You can stay in my room for the time being seeing to it that you’re now a single woman. I’ll get you a nice pretty ring when we reach my empire.”
“What does he mean (your name)? You’re not going to marry him are you?” Cedric froze at the defeated look on (your name)’s face. Her (eye color) orbs tiredly glancing at Cedric.
“I’m sorry, Cedric.” Cedric could only hug himself as he watched his wife be dragged away by Etrian. The silver haired Duke excitedly droning on and on about how much she was going to love their new life together.
.
.
.
Cedric peaked through the doorway of (your name) and Etrian’s room. His heart clenching when he saw how he tenderly held her in his arms.
It wasn’t fair… if Cedric never messed up, she would’ve never met Etrian… she would’ve never divorced him… they’d still be happy…
But were they ever happy? No… Cedric couldn’t remember the last time they shared a smile together or even a dance. Cedric never really deserved her… but he didn’t think Etrian did either.
.
.
.
Cedric could only watch as (your name) and Etrian headed off to the northern empire in a carriage together. The silver haired man fretting over her every need while Cedric could only watch from his study’s window in utter distaste and envy.
“My lord, she left you a sketchbook.” Cedric glanced at the book, tears gather in his eyes as he looked at all the intricate drawings of birds. The swans being his favorite.
The last drawing was what made Cedric’s blood run cold. A terrifying eldritch monster with a black octopus head over Etrian’s body stared back at him, a small note in the bottom of making a shiver run down Cedric’s spine.
‘I can see him, Cedric. He likes that I can see him. Help me.’
Now Cedric knew why she was so terrified of Etrian… it was because he was a monster.
.
.
.
“I can’t wait for you to meet my mother.” Etrian cooed, his tentacles excitedly flailing around the carriage. One grasping (your name)’s chin. “You’ll like her.”
“(Your name)… are you sad?” Etrian asked, the male grasping her hands in his gloved ones. “You won’t ever feel like nothing here. I’ll treat you to whatever you like.”
(Your name) could only fully glance out the window. Her heart aching as she began to miss Cedric. She hoped he would at least be happy…
A tentacle suddenly gave her a tight squeeze while another forced her head to look at Etrian. Smooth lips pressing against her own, her body shaking in fear as the tentacles began to grope her body.
Etrian pulled away, her eyes widening when she finally got to see some semblance of a face on the man. A smile crawling on Etrian’s face.
“There. Don’t think of other men around me. I don’t like it.”
(Your name) could only silently cry as Etrian continued to press kisses on her face. His lips burning her with the passion he held for her.
“We’re going to have our wedding in a few days time once we arrive. Is there somewhere you’d like to go? Or something you’d like to do when we get there?”
“I’m alright for now. Thank you, Etrian.” (Your name) politer responded, folding her hands in her lap nervously.
Etrian smiled before continued to excitedly chatter on about the wedding. His tentacles dancing around excitedly.
.
.
.
A regal woman with long silver hair and bright blue eyes stood outside of the Graham palace. Her cold gaze focusing on the carriage that had arrived.
Former Duchess Guinevere had gotten the news that her son had found a bride while he was in the southern empire. She just didn’t think her son would latch onto the other duke’s former wife so quickly.
Her eyes glared at the pretty young woman who exited the carriage, her eyes widening when she saw her son’s tentacles all over the girl. The girl subtly trying to push them off. Her son had found his soulmate… Etrian had found his soulmate!
A bright smile was on the former duchess’s lips, the servants immediately blushing and whispering to each other. Guinevere never smiled and here she was smiling at the fiancée her son had brought.
“Welcome home, son. I see you brought me home a daughter as well.” Guinevere smiled, her blue eyes gazing intensely at the trembling woman who wouldn’t look her in the eye. Was it a possibility she could see Guinevere’s true form as well? How interesting…
(Your name) tried her best not to cry at how much larger the octopus like creature that Etrian called his mother was. She was terrified at how the other woman’s tentacles were poking her face as well.
“It’s very nice to make your acquaintance, duchess.”
A hearty laugh let the woman’s throat, the regal woman gesturing for her servants to make her new family member feel welcome.
“Please. Call me mother.”
.
.
.
(Your name) tried her best not to cry at the feast Etrian’s family held for them. Etrian’s mother’s tentacles were all over the former Duke. Who didn’t seem to mind as much as (your name) did.
“Welcome, my dear. I see you’re still getting used to Etrian’s… quirks.” The former Duke, Rolfe, smiled at the young couple. His eyes narrowing at his son intensely staring at (your name). “Etrian, I’d like for you to start a toast for your lovely fiancée here.”
Etrian quickly sprang to his feet, one of his gloved hands holding (your name)’s. While to other held up a glass of Chardonnay.
“I’d like to raise a toast to my lovely fiancée, (your name). I cannot wait to be wed to such a lovely girl who can stand to be around the real me.” No she could not. (Your name) was doing her best not to pass out at the table right then and there at all the eyes (and tentacles) that were on her.
“(Your name), my dear. I’m so happy my son seems so fond of you. He was such a lonely boy growing up…” Guinevere sighed, her tentacles cradling her body as she continued to talk about Etrian. “He loves reading all the time. I swear he loved books more than his own mother-“
“Mother. Please. You’re embarrassing me.” (Your name) could only smile politely as Etrian’s tentacles pulled her closer to him. The male pressing a kiss to her head.
Guinevere only smiled all knowingly at her son and husband. Rolfe sighing before gazing at the young couple. “You both have our blessing. We can have the wedding as soon as you’d like-“
“Tomorrow.” Etrian stated boldly, causing his father to laugh.
“Impatient just like your mother was.” (Your name) could only watch as Rolfe tenderly caressed his wife’s affectionate tentacles. “I’ll send some dress makers down to your room tonight then.”
“Dear, remember when we were young?” The older couple soon got into a private and affectionate banter. The two giggling and whispering to each other like a young couple in love.
“See? You’ll be happy here.” Etrian stated, the young Duke pulling out (your name)’s chair. “How about we go on a walk while those two continue to flirt?”
(Your name) nodded, hesitantly taking Etrian’s hand as the much taller male lead her out of the dining room.
Her octopus fiancé motioning to the portraits on the wall of the most beautiful family she’s ever seen. Rolfe being the only one she recognized in the portraits.
“Who are they?”
“You don’t recognize your own fiancé?” Etrian chuckled as he pointed to the tall handsome man with long silver hair in the portrait. “I’m right there or can you only see these?”
(Your name) tried not to squeal when the tentacles starting tickling her, trying her best not to smile at how playful Etrian was being.
“I… I can only see those.”
Etrian suddenly pulled her to himself, pressing a long kiss to her left collarbone.
“My mother said my father finally saw what she truly looked like on their wedding night. So maybe you’ll just have to wait till then to see me.”
(Your name) smiled, casting one last look at the handsome man in the portrait. There was no way that person and this tentacle abomination were the same person.
But then again, Rolfe seemed super into Guinevere with or without her tentacles…
.
.
.
(Your name) stood at the alter across from a more than eager Etrian. The tentacles on his head flailing around excitedly while also trying not to touch her until after the ceremony was over.
“You may kiss the bride-“ the marriage officiant didn’t even get to finish his words before Etrian pulled (your name into a passionate kiss, (your name) shutting her eyes so she didn’t have to see how the tentacles were running themselves down every inch of her body.
The crowd going wild at how happy Etrian seemed, much to the dismay of Duke Lancaster who sat the farthest away from the ceremony. The Duke fiddling with a dried sprig of baby’s breath. He was here for closure but he didn’t want to accept the fact that his wife had practically been forced to marry some sort of tentacle monster.
Etrian pulled away before scooping (your name) up in his arms as the crowd cheered for their union. The silver haired Duke giving Cedric a victorious smirk.
Etrian had won. (Your name) was his wife now. He even had something planned for Cedric as well. Something that would make sure that Duke get over (your name) for good.
.
.
.
Cedric groaned, red eyes widening as he realized he was bound and gagged in a chair. The Duke of Lancaster nervously glancing around until he saw Etrian standing in front of him. The silver haired Duke giving Cedric a smirk.
“I’m going to let you watch our wedding night.” Etrian smirked, causing Cedric to scream at him through the gag, only for no sound to come out. “And maybe if you’re good, I’ll even let you in. I feel kind of bad for stealing your wife but I’m not opposed to sharing her.”
Cedric’s red eyes widened when Etrian pulled out a syringe. The dark haired Duke thrashing in his restraints, causing Etrian to shush him.
“It’s just a very strong aphrodisiac. I want you to feel everything and I also gave some to (your name) as well. I want both of you to be as aroused as possible. Plus you’ll be able to see what she can see while you’re on these drugs.”
No… he didn’t mean. Cedric gasped when Etrian stabbed the needle into his bare leg, pupils going wide at the true form of Etrian being revealed to him.
“God. I’m going to love this.”
Cedric could only slightly struggle, the friction from the rope turning him on. The male watching helplessly as (your name) stumbled into the room. The poor girl a panting mess as Etrian slowly began to toy with the lacy white undergarment that hid her body from Cedric’s eyes.
“Look, (your name). I brought your ex-husband here to watch as I defile you.” A sharp gasp left (your name)’s throat when two of Etrian’s tentacles squeezes her chest, the poor girl panting as Etrian ran his hands down her hips and dipped by her privates. “We’re gonna give him a show, okay? And if you’re both good, I’ll let him fuck you too.”
Cedric gasped when the tentacles suddenly ripped apart the lingerie on (your name)’s body his greedy eyes taking in the soft curves of her bare body. His head spinning with lust at the thought of being able to touch his wife.
Etrian suddenly wrapped two tentacles around her wrists, holding them in place as he positioned himself behind her. (Your name) moaning loudly at how rough Etrian was being.
“What do you say, (your name)?”
“Please.”
“Please what?”
“Please… take me, Etrian.” Etrian’s pink tongue darted out to lick her tears away, causing (your name) to blush. Right now she was able to see Etrian’s human face while under the influence of the aphrodisiac, much to Etrian’s joy.
“Good girl. You’re such a good girl, (your name).” Etrian sheathed himself in one thrust in (your name) a strangled cry escaping her throat as he started to pound into her like a madman. “Shit. Look at how well you take it.”
“Ah! Ah! Ah!” (Your name) began to cry as she felt her body being pounded into and Cedric’s eyes on her. “It feels so good!”
“Does it? How about this?” (Your name) began to cry as she felt Etrian’s tentacles rub against her clit, practically seeing stars at the intensity they were going.
“Etrian! I’m going to-“ Etrian tightly grasped (your name) body. The white haired man releasing deep inside of her as (your name) rode out her orgasm. The Duke kissing her face as he turned to look at Cedric who had a mess between his legs as well.
“You’re a sick freak, Cedric. Getting off watching another man fuck your wife.”
Etrian cut Cedric’s binds with one of his tentacles before motioning over to the moaning mess that was (your name). “Have at it.”
Cedric slowly rose up before greedily pressing kisses onto (your name)’s bare skin. The dark haired Duke slipping himself into her with ease. His pale hand grasping her hips tightly as he drilled into her doggy style.
“Fuck. I love you, (your name).” Cedric cried as he started to go into a brutal pace. “We could make this work right? A throuple?”
(Your name) cried and moaned as Cedric continued to pound into her poor abused body. Etrian placing his thumb in her mouth as he stroked his cock in another hand.
“Shhh. How about you put me in your mouth while he has his fun. It’ll be nice to have something in your pretty mouth.”
(Your name) could only nod her head as Cedric continued to pound into her. His balls slapping roughly into her ass as she started choking on Etrian’s cock.
“Look at that. Such a good girl taking two cocks. You’re gonna be both of our wife. It’ll be fun won’t it?” Etrian cooed as Cedric started to cry.
“I’m gonna cum. Fuck. I’m gonna get you pregnant, (your name).” Cedric threw back his head as he came deep inside (your name) the other Duke panting as he collapsed beside (your name), who continued to suck off Etrian.
“Look at us, (your name). All three of us are practically insatiable.” Etrian cooed as he watched Cedric start eating (your name) out.
“I told you I’d make you happy here.” Etrian cooed, (your name) pulling herself away from his cock to whisper.
“Yes I love it here, Etrian. I love you and Cedric so much. Ah!”
“Such a good girl.” Etrian cooed, his tentacles wrapping around (your name) as he continued to play with her body. “You’re gonna be pregnant with twins by the time we’re finished with you.”
“Thank you… thank you…” (your name) cried as she felt her body be flipped over by Cedric who decided he was going to go for another round.
“Isn’t she such a good girl, Cedric.” Cedric nodded his head as he started pressing hot kisses on (your name)’s body.
“You should be happy to know that you two never actually divorced and now the both of us are married to her. My empire just allows polyamory so it’s easier for us to have fun here.”
“Isn’t that fun, Cedric? We’ll all be one big happy family.” Etrian soon pushed (your name) onto Cedric’s lap, who was still pounding into her like a madman.
Etrian positioned himself behind (your name), a wicked smile on his beautiful face.
“Now let’s see how well you can handle two cocks in one hole.”

Hi!
So.. i read you kinktober stuff and boi.. my mind is running like..
i have some thoughts, like Creator doing 1, 12, 23 to Zhongli, mainly cuz i have a love and hate relationship with him. That is the result of my friend making me hate him that bad, but that is another story.
Though, back to my thoughts on Zhongli being a sub, like ugh, I love me some sub men that are powerful. Zhongli crying and begging for release due to over stim? Beautiful.
Zhongli released a soft whine and yet he doesn't want to disappoint you, not after he was given this plant to take care of by you. Yet, he is so humiliated to be at the mercy of the pathetic plant, not fully realizing that he was pulled into the trap that was set up by you. There are times where it just teases him after a long night of endless rounds, but he won't return the plant cuz of what the creator said before handing him the plant, "Surely someone as strong as you can handle the plant i made just for you." - Kaeya anon
Kinktober day "3"
I know it's technically day 7,but this took awhile to write T-T. Days 4,5,6,and 7 will be posted soon,as well as day 8.
This request was very fun to write, thank you for it!

There was a knock at your door.
"Your grace?" The voice of your most loyal servant came through. "May I come in?" He said before politely waiting outside. 'He was definitely the perfect one for this job',you thought to yourself before speaking.
"Yes,please come in." Zhongli walked in,head held high. He gave a deep bow, almost going to kneel at your feet until you stopped him. "That will not be necessary today." He peered at you, confused. "Zhongli,I have a task for you." He had perked up at the word task, straighting himself back up.
You move gracefully across the room, mentioning for him to follow. You smiled to yourself as you picked up a plant in a pot. Leaves of deep purple,with...tentacle like stems and leaves. It was a type of vine, you supposed. Gingerly picking up the plant, you turned to Zhongli.
"This plant here is one I made specifically for you,my most loyal follower. I ask that you please take care of it." You held it out to him,and Zhongli nodded. His stoic face betrayed the way he was feeling inside, the bubbling pride and excitement making it's way through his body.
Zhongli bowed deeply. "I am honored to have such a privilege, your grace." You nodded,a similar excitement bubbling inside of you,but for reasons very different than what Zhongli could guess. You carefully placed the pot into his waiting hands. You waved a dissmissal, and he bowed deeply once again, turning to leave. Just as he opened the door, you called out to him, making him turn around.
"It's a special plant Zhongli,so make sure to give it extra special care." You said with a wink before going back to your work. Zhongli briskly left the room, scurrying through your giant palace domain. He had his own place, but decided to go to the room assigned to him as an acolyte instead, saving some time. He quickened his pace, wanting to get there as soon as he possibly could. He couldn't understand why,but he felt he needed the space his room gave for something, although he was unsure why this thought came to mind.
He finally made it to his room. It was a barren yet large place. He had his bed pushed to the left side, which at the foot the door to his in room bathroom was. That door was closed however,so after a minute of looking around,Zhongli placed the plant on his desk, which was the direct opposite of his bed.
He stared at the plant for a moment. It looked...odd,but all the colors were absolutely beautiful in a way Zhongli wouldn't have seen before. He was studying the plant so intently that he hardly noticed that it had moved a bit.
He snapped out of it only when he realized that it would be best if he watered the plant. Fresh water would be best,he thought to himself. So,he walked to the door, ready to walk out. That was, until he was grabbed.
Something hard and thick wrapped around his waist, pulling him up into the air in the middle of the room. He let out a yelp, trying desperately to push the thing off of him. He looked down at it,trying to see what exactly was holding him captive. It looked to be a vine of sorts, and he wondered if he could maybe slash it with his polearm...
...That was, until a sweet smell began secreting from the plant, causing him to go limp and his thoughts to cloud up. He continued to fight, squirming around in a pathetic attempt to escape, but there was no strength behind his actions. It was like all the power he had was drained. Or maybe it was just the fact that thinking about escaping was getting harder..
Something hard pushed its way into his mouth, and he desperately tried to spit it out. It was relentless however,so it simply continued to venture deeper into his mouth. Zhongli gagged when it hit the back of his throat, tears springing up in he eyes. The thing didn't care for his discomfort, and soon the former archon felt a cool, thick, slimy substance slide down his throat.
All too quick, his body felt as if it was in searing heat. Sweat formed on his forehead as he panted. He hardly noticed that his cocks had become fully erect, straining his pants. It came to the forefront ot his mind as it became increasingly uncomfortable. Two thin vines came and pulled off his jacket, letting it fall to a heap on the floor below. They then began work on his suit, finishing much quicker than Zhongli anticipated. It joined his jacket on the floor.
The very second his chest was bare and exposed, more thin vines came, rubbing his stomach with light touches that made him shiver. They trailed up his body, tracing his arolea and flicking over his nipples, causing him to let out a quite embarrassing moan. He was trying hard to escape, but the fire hot pleasure he was feeling was making him so weak...
There was a pressure in his backside, and his eyes rolled to the back of his head as a thick vine pushed into his hole. A wanton moan escaped hid lips. The soft, malleable thorns of the vine tickled his walls on a way that made him gyrate his hips and whine with tears in his eyes. When it hit his prostate,he fell limp as he came hard.
The vines continued even after he came, fucking him hard and fast. He moaned and cried, squirming desperately as he desperately tried to get away from the overstimulation.
Another vine came to touch the head of his sensitive cock, and he yelped as tears once again gathered in his eyes. He couldn't decide whether to buck into it or buck away from it as another splash of white hot pleasure-pain rocketed through him, causing him to orgasm once again.
He squeezed around the vine, just as he felt a thick, warm substance empty from the vine into his hole. He whined as it slipped out,and the other vines let him slump gently to the floor. He watched through blearly, half lidded eyes as the plant returned to normal,as if like magic.
When he awoke, the first he thought to do was get rid of the wretched plant. But the words of his God came back to him. "This plant here is one I made specifically for you,my most loyal follower. I ask that you please take care of it." His God had made it for him specifically. It would be blasphemous to throw it away. So he let it stay. Let it have it's way with him every night.
Little did he know, that that was just what you wanted,as you watched from the shadows every night.

Hiiiii may I request a very obvious and everyone knows it— a simp, pining, very much in love cale? With a dense reader who doesn’t realize they’re making him flustered- dense and oblivious? :>>
Thats all u can choose how u want to write it :))
Oh, ur works are so gooooodd btw :DD
LETS GO BABE !!! AND THANK YOU 🥺🥺💗
im gonna make this short as hell because i need sleep and it's three in the morning. im loopy as hell and couldnt think of how cale as a character would simp and this is the best i could do, im sorry 😭
Alver was a bit elated, to be honest.
After the war, things finally settled down and the lives of the citizens of the Roan Kingdom settled back to normal, or perhaps even better than before.
The talk of heroes was still a warm topic amongst the nobles and commoners, especially about Cale Henituse, the most praised hero of the continent.
Despite the heavy nickname he carries, Cale Henituse continued to be himself — not that Alver was surprised — and still became that bastard guy that Alver trusts.
Cale was chosen to handle the matters a Prime Minister would handle, gaining the position as the proxy of the Prime Minister — a position that was still vacant, of course reserved for Cale himself. But if the man himself knew of it, he'd immediately run away so Alver declared him to just be a proxy to keep the man by his side with the reason that he hasn't found someone fitting for the position yet.
Of course, Cale wasn't given as much as work as an actual Prime Minister are usually given. Alver was kind to his dongsaeng, so he would make sure Cale still has enough rest to slack off for awhile.
During those times, Cale would rarely come by to visit the Royal Palace, which was absolutely understandable. Alver himself would not want to visit his workplace if he's given a day off if he wasn't the Emperor and practically living in his workplace where a political dispute is always happening.
'He's been visiting often, hasn't he?'
Alver glanced up from his paperwork to his dongsaeng who wss reclining on the couch of his study, just sitting there and munching on cookies, this time without Raon.
"Cale..." Alver sets his fountain pen down, looking at Cale with a slight frown on his handsome face. "Is there something wrong?"
"Of course not, Your Highness," Cale answered quickly. "Nothing is wrong."
Alver pursed his lips into a thin line, not believing Cale once a bit because he knows his dongsaeng and while it is probably not something particularly serious from how lax Cale was, Alver was sure it was still something that bothers the redhead.
Alver hummed, taking another sheet of paper from the piles that were on his desk. "Then, is there a reason why you're here?"
"Can I not spend time with my Hyung-nim?" Cale asked with a raised eyebrow as if he was completely serious - Alver knows that he's not because why would Cale be here and spend time with him when he had been whining the other day about how looking at Alver's face was enough to remind him of the stress of work?
Alver shook his head, deciding to just accept Cale Henituse being contradictory as usual. He wonders why he's still so confused when he should know best that Cale Henituse is a walking contradiction and everything he does is confusing.
"Well, if you're staying here, might as well know that Dame [Name] is going to be here again for a private audience."
"From the [Last Name] Household?" Cale questioned and Alver let out a chuckle, "Is there any other one?"
You were a lady from the [Last Name] household, the head family being your single mother, Baroness Charlotte and you were the eldest one out of the three daughters the baroness had. People had originally thought the daughters were going to get married off to older noblemen who were willing to pay off their dowry but due to the Baroness' competence and your clever mind, your sisters have been pried away from the clutches of older noblemen as you were both enough to help your sisters to live.
Your household was compassionate towards orphans and the poor even before the war, providing food and shelter to the ones who needed them. This gives your family very good support from the commoners and loved ones, always being helped by the commoners with the little things. Your family had been very neutral when it comes to siding with the Princes as you all only focused on yourselves and those who are in need.
During the war, Alver had you and not your mother be in charge of sending out help to those who are in need, citizens of the Roan kingdom or not, and to make sure everyone is safe. Due to seeing his thoughtfulness, your family eventually sided with Alver. You had been exceptional in carrying out your duties and earned quite the fame for being the representative of the warm and generous Roan Kingdom, so when you returned, the title Dame was given to you for your services.
Cale would know that, not only because you were an important figure in what would be Roan Kingdom's history regarding politics and international affairs, but you had always coincidentally been wherever he was during the last few years so your title was given pretty quickly and earned much more respect from the nobles.
"Right..." Cale turns away from Alver.
Alver let the conversation to sink into his brain. Why did he have to say that to Cale? The man has been present every time you had to have a private audience with Alver, which had been a frequent event because you were building an establishment to house the homeless.
A knock was heard from the other side of the door of Alver's study.
"Come in."
You stepped into the office, dressed as formally as usual with a white shirt with ruffles and a long, fitted red skirt that flares around your lower calves. There was a folder clutched close to your chest, most likely the cause of your presence here.
"Oh!" You sound elated when you saw Cale in Alver's study but then turned back to look at Alver. "Your Highness, I didn't know you were expecting a guest."
"Dame [Name]," Alver greeted you with a relieved smile. "Please tell me you've brought me good news regarding that housing property case."
Cale stood up from the couch, approaching Alver's desk as well, curious about what good news you were bringing that you were smiling so brightly.
"Of course," you say, closing the door behind you and approaching Alver's desk. "The verdict's out -- the housing property is still within its area and not Viscount Chers'. We sued Viscount Chers for destroying some of the building he claimed to have entered his estate and won, so he has to pay for the cost, damages, and also interest."
Cale has heard of the case before. Viscount Chers had thought the housing property was being built on his land and had ordered his guards to destroy some of the building. With you supervising the project, you immediately sued Viscount Chers for his actions.
"Dame [Name], have I ever told you that I love you?" Alver smiled at you as he received the folder in your hand.
Cale jolted a bit upon hearing Alver's words and glanced at you, seeing your smile as you spoke, "Flattery gets you nowhere, Your Highness."
Alver sighed. "Shame."
Cale wanted to ask since when were you and Alver gotten close enough to be joking around like that. Of course you had been close to the two of them, but it seemed you have gotten more familiar with Alver. Just in time, Alver caught his gaze and raised an eyebrow, confused why Cale looked like he had a lot on his mind.
"How's your family, Dame [Name]?"
"Oh, my, thank you for asking." You cupped your cheek and closed your eyes as you continued, "My mother is well, but my sisters have been going out to parties more than ever. I think they're starting to have people they fancy."
Cale tilted his head, interested. "You seem relaxed about that."
"It's a part of being young," you told him. "Besides, I'm so busy to the point I can't really keep them safe forever. It's like having kids of your own, I guess. What about you, Cale-nim? What would you do with your own kids?"
Cale let his mouth speak before thinking properly, stumbling out his words. "I guess if we have kids -- wait, no, I mean, I already have kids, like Raon, Ohn, and Hong."
Alver watched this with a raised eyebrow, a knowing smirk forming on his lips as he watched his sworn brother trip over his own words and overexplain things. 'Is this why he had been in my office for the last few days?'
"I'm not the type to restrict them too much from experiencing life," Cale told you. "I don't want to be someone they grew to hate because I held them back from living their lives."
You smiled softly at him and Cale grinned, patting himselfon the back for his answer. "That's actually a very good insight for parenting. I might need to remember it once I have kids of my own."
"Aw, look at you both, talking about kids," Alver teased, the shit-eating grin on his face made the alarms in Cale's head come to life.
He caught on.
"Speaking of, Dame [Name], I heard you've been getting many letters regarding marriage," Alver brought up the rumor he had picked up a few weeks ago. He didn't think that such a rumor would end up being something so useful.
"Marriage?" Cale asked, his whole body going tense.
Your cheeks are tinted red as you laughed away Alver's words. "Oh, please, all of them are only sent because they heard you were handing me one of your major projects for developing the kingdom. I'm not dumb enough to see they're simply trying to get to you and Cale-nim."
"You should tell them that you're with my sworn brother so they won't bother you," Alver said, wasting no time to immediately struck that nerve.
You laughed again. "Oh, no, I don't want Cale-nim to get entangled in weird rumors."
"I don't mind."
Cale's cheeks are red when he said that and he wanted to hide from you when you and Alver turned to look at him. He cleared his throat and continued, stuttering a bit when he spoke; "I-I mean, just use my name if they caused you trouble. I don't mind."
"Oh, my, thank you so much, Cale-nim!" You grasped his hand with both hands, the smile on your face so bright that Cale's face immediately darkened with so much blood rushing to his face.
"I might overuse it so much that no one will dare to get close to me," you say, letting go of his hands.
'Oh, please do overuse it,' thought Cale.
"I think that's what my sworn brother would like," Alver added with a grin.
Cale wanted to kick Alver in the shin.
"Do you hate the idea of me with another man that much, Cale-nim?" You asked with a playful grin.
Cale opened his mouth to defend himself but no sound came out when he saw your smile and the red flush of your skin. He closed his mouth and decided to just stand there like an idiot.
"I don't think another man could live up to my standards considering I have been spending so much time with the both of you," you continued shyly. "Perhaps I should linger with the others lest my mother will complain about my being single."
"Or you could just keep spending time with us," Cale prompted, shrugging his shoulders to appear nonchalant. "There's no harm in that. Keep all of the bugging men away."
He doesn't miss the raised blond eyebrow Alver was giving him while you weren't looking.
"Perhaps," you murmured, beginning to walk towards the door. "Talking with the both of you is wonderful but I do have to rush to handle these paperwork."
"What time do you get off work?" Cale questioned quickly.
You stopped, turning to look at the red-head. "Around four. Planning on taking me home and meeting my mother, Cale-nim?"
"She loves the cakes from that dessert shop, right?"
You laughed, shaking your head in disbelief. "Yes, Cale-nim. The strawberry shortcakes are her favorite."
Cale nodded. "Noted."
You bowed to the both of them, excusing yourself out and leaving the two brothers inside the study.
Cale let out a sigh. "Well, I'll be leaving—"
Alver grabbed a discarded paper and crumpled it into a ball, throwing it at Cale who frowns. "What?"
"I cannot believe you came here just so you could ask Dame [Name] on a date."

It's Enough, It's Enough - chapter three
Fandom: My Lady Jane Pairing: Jane x Guildford Rating: M (may change) Chapter: 3 / 6
Summary: Five times Jane and Guildford pretend to have sex, and one time it’s for real.
read on tumblr: one | two
Jane gets a new title: wife. Then another: queen. She doesn’t know how to do either, how to be either. There doesn’t seem to be room for herself anymore, just Jane.
She’s been wanting to go home. It’s a confusing and indistinct longing; none of the places she calls to mind give her comfort. Where is home? Bradgate House? Lord Dudley’s estate? The Dudley family seat, where she and Guildford spent their short time learning to distrust one another on top of their existing dislike? The palace, where she falls asleep in Edward’s bed and wakes in his robe? Actually, even being expected to be Jane and no one and nothing more feels impossible. All her thoughts are in conflict. All her moods contradict.
She doesn’t know how her cousin did this by himself. She and Guildford still seem far from understanding one another, and he’s only available to her while the sun is down, but she begins to rely on him without quite noting when it starts. They speak about matters of state while observed by the people who seem to be friends to the new queen, about fluff and petty gossip while observed by those she senses to be enemies, about an Ethian cure when it’s just the two of them, and all she really wants to say to him is, What are we?
Besides two people no longer permitted to live for themselves, she would mean by the question.
Besides the loneliest people in England, but lonely together.
Jane thinks of Guildford as an ally she wants to kiss all the time. As soon as they’re within ten feet of each other. As soon as they’re in the same room. When they give in, she always stops it, or he does, and that’s for the best; do either of them know the person they’re offering to the other? With all the travel and the small matter of her blindsiding ascension to the throne, they aren’t much better than strangers. (Except she knows what his engorged member feels like against her abdomen and that he’s secretly a horse.)
They haven’t again come as close to the thing they were supposed to have done that night since that night. Meaning they haven’t fucked. Which is probably wise given… throne, horse, attempted murder, etcetera. Jane believes she could ignore her marital duties entirely in order to attend to her even more vertigo-inducing queenly duties, if not for those two times she and Guildford pretended. The trouble is, she knows just enough (her legs against his, his hands on her hips) to want to know much more (her hands on his rear, his manhood inside her). But it’s not a thing you can rush, she thinks, bedding ceremony be damned.
She doesn’t need actual sex to feel loyal to him, protective of him, or scared for him. She realizes the new depth of her feelings for Guildford all at once upon overhearing Lord Seymour’s plan to go out to the stables at dusk. He doesn’t seem to suspect the truth—and, really, who could guess at it?—but hopes to corner Guildford when he returns from wherever he goes during the day. The thought of Seymour witnessing her husband’s transformation sends Jane into a panic, but she quells it. She has to.
Fortunately, she’s able to get away from the palace by early evening. She tells her ladies she’s tired of being in company. She lets her counsellors believe the political discussion is smothering her female brain and she must take the air. In the stables, Rupert keeps her company awhile, correctly judging her to be restless and upset, before gifting her her solitude until Guildford arrives. Her husband’s is the only company she wants.
The sun slips low, and Jane realizes Guildford might walk back into the stables as a man, after nightfall, rather than returning as a horse before dark. That outcome would be met with its own set of consequences. She begins devising ways of preventing Seymour from seeing Guildford strolling up out of nowhere, but they’re pointless when her husband comes trotting through the far side of the barn, undeniably equine.
“There you are!” she says.
Her horse-husband seems spooked by the anxiety in her voice, so she makes an effort to control it, quickly filling him in on the situation at hand. Too soon, Guildford’s ears prick up. Jane hears it too: whistling. Specifically, the chipper whistling of a repugnant, power-hungry man who’s giddy at the thought of getting someone he doesn’t like into very bad trouble.
“What are we going to do?” Jane demands of her horse-husband.
Guildford flicks his head, tossing his mane. She interprets this as a shoulder shrug and scowls at him. Right away, she feels bad about it; he might be equally irritated with her on the inside, but on the outside, he has big, gentle eyes that guilt her into a muttered “Sorry.”
The answer that comes to her is outrageous, but these are outrageous circumstances—she’s merely adapting, as she has done every single day since her mother informed her she would be getting married.
The whistling is very near when Jane slams her back into the closed door of the stables and releases an exaggerated sound of pleasure. Sorry, she repeats to her horse-husband, just with her eyes this time. But it’s worked—Seymour’s steps have come to a stop. Because he isn’t leaving, she makes the noise again, then looks at her companion and shrugs. Guildford answers her with another head toss. She wishes one of them could go check to see the effect this is having on Seymour, but she’s afraid Seymour’s too near the door for her to risk a peek, and Guildford’s a little too conspicuous in his current form to go creeping out the back and around the side of the stables.
Guildford twitches his head forward, appearing to urge her on. Fine then. Once more.
Jane moans loudly, but when there’s still no indication that Seymour is retreating to the palace, she understands it isn’t enough. The problem is that he doesn’t know it’s them. Well, her, but an implied them. To amend this, Jane follows the noise with a well-enunciated, “Guildford!”
There’s an uncertain shuffle outside the door. More! She has to do more!
“Guildford, we’ve been making love for hours! What am I to say the next time I’m asked how you spend your days?!”
And she moans again—after a pause to suggest Guildford’s decidedly physical riposte to that question.
Finally, she hears Seymour walk away, muttering about their pathetically boring sex life, wondering what the point is without the threat of genuine agony. She thanks her Protestant God for Seymour’s dark tastes, because the last light of day is glowing dimly through the cracks in the door.
With a sigh, Jane sinks onto the edge of the bed Guildford keeps out here. It’s only a minute or two before he changes form, stumbling forward as the man she met at the tavern, the altar, the opposite side of a heavily watched bed. Like all those times before, she can’t tell what he’s thinking. She waits for him to speak—to reassure her sense that she handled that well or to tell her what she should have done instead (at which point they’ll argue, as they do)—but he’s quiet.
“He’s gone,” she says.
And he says, “Yes.”
“He believed we were in here,” Jane continues, going a step further, making an assumption, seeing whether Guildford will say it’s an incorrect one.
“So it seemed.”
She waits. Again. Finally, he must feel prompted by her eyes, though he’s kept his face turned away from her since transforming.
“You don’t have to protect me,” he says.
“Can you possibly be in earnest?!” she retorts, rising to her feet. “Had I done nothing, Seymour would have been in here waiting for you! He might have tied you up in your other form and seen you change!”
“Jane, Jane, you misunderstand.” Guildford makes a gentling motion and approaches her, but she’s too angry to be calmed. If her methods hadn’t worked, he would have been either taken from her for imprisonment and later execution or killed on the spot. Thereafter would she have been charged, tried, and executed for marrying an Ethian. Their families would have gone the same way. Also, the crown would have, in all probability, gone to Mary, much the worse for the whole kingdom. But it would not have been the whole kingdom she’d have been wishing she could have protected in her final moments at the execution block.
“No,” she says, “you—”
“I mean that you do anyway!” he cries out, cutting her off. “You don’t have to protect me, but you do! I am the reason you’re in enormous danger.”
Jane shakes her head.
“I’m in danger regardless.”
“But you care! You care, not just for yourself! I can see it as clear as… as clear as day.”
She doesn’t know what to say. He’s touched by what she’s done, and he’s let her see that. They stand there somewhat awkwardly.
“Do you think anyone would notice if I had Seymour murdered?” she jokes tentatively.
“Notice? Yes. Whether they would mind is another story,” Guildford muses, making Jane smile. “I’ve certainly indulged in fantasies of kicking him in the head.”
“As a horse?”
“Naturally.”
He smirks at her.
“Well,” she says, taking a step towards the door.
“Speaking of fantasies,” Guildford says quickly.
Jane freezes.
“Where did all that come from?”
“What?” she asks.
He gives her a flat, unimpressed look.
“The performance you just put on for Seymour. How did you think of it?”
“It’s nothing we haven’t done before,” she says defensively.
Guildford raises his eyebrows. Blushing, Jane realizes he won’t let the subject drop until she spells it out.
“Faking our marital obligations for our own protection!”
“No,” he says. “I get that part. What I don’t understand is why you… how you…”
Oh. He’s blushing now. This is interesting. She’s not sure she’s ever seen his face go red before, except with an excess of drink or the exertions of defending himself against assassins. Neither of those is the case now. Feeling ruthless after being put on the back foot, Jane crosses her arms and stares her husband down.
“Where did those sounds come from?” he blurts.
Alright, no, she should have fled before. Her palms go damp against her brocade sleeves.
“I know what sexual pleasure sounds like,” Jane says primly, chin lifted and cheeks redder than ever.
“What were you thinking of?” Guildford inquires lightly, though his eyes speak of a more intense curiosity. He’s still blushing, but where her blush springs from discomfort, she has a sudden hunch that his is all desire. There’s an answer he wants to hear. He’s hoping, she guesses, that her passionate cries arose from the memory of their rushed kissing, or even the night of their false consummations. He wants to hear that these sounds were inspired by him, though trapped in her then out of wrongness and self-denial. He’d just love to think that only he could be the source of such sounds, wouldn’t he? What a shame she’ll have to disappoint him.
“Nothing outside the present moment,” she swears. “I’ve drawn those sounds from myself dozens of times. They were as easy to recall as the words of a favourite song.”
“From yourself?”
“Yes.”
She backs away from him on shaky legs because doesn’t look disappointed by her answer at all. He looks… he looks…
Jane’s back is against the door, and Guildford is close, much closer than ten feet, and it’s gotten dark so quickly, but there’s a lantern with a burning candle, and the place feels safe and secluded and expectantly hushed. Beneath Guildford’s doublet, his shirt is unlaced at the throat. She’s staring. She forces her gaze up to his eyes.
He brushes a strand of hair off her cheek and breathes a single word: “When?”
Just kiss me, Jane thinks. It would be simpler, easier, than sifting her brain for the words to say back, and then pushing those words across her tongue and out of her mouth for him to hear. Kissing has served their purposes so far. It’s just the thing to stop, start, and avoid conversations they’re too stubborn or cowardly to have. The more they admit, the more they confide, the more pieces of themselves they’ll have to tidy neatly away when they get divorced and none of what happened between them matters. Desire is one thing, but they’re only using each other, right? To please their parents, for independence, for protection, for companionship, for… admittedly a growing list of needs. And the more they need each other for, the more they seem capable of fulfilling each other’s needs. Which is just so messy, she decides, and why it’s better to kiss than speak, to not give anything else away…
“Since you met me?” Guildford asks.
“Yes.”
His eyes are on her mouth, his lips nearly touching hers.
“Since we married?”
“Yes,” she sighs. She can feel the heat of his body through his black leather and velvet. He must have been running before he returned to the stables.
“Do you think about me?”
Heart pounding, Jane fumbles for the latch and swings the door open. Her escape hardly feels like one. Guildford can follow if he’d like to. He probably will. He’s more than welcome on the grounds, in the palace, in her chambers. She wants him there, in fact. She always does. All she needs right now is a head start, so she can cool her skin and her thoughts.
Although there was nothing he could teach her about handling a blade that she didn’t already know, she wishes she’d asked him for instruction on how to not answer his questions as well as he once refused to answer hers. She succeeded on his last question, but barely. Everything in her quivered with longing. Yes, Jane would’ve said in another second against that door. Yes, I make those sounds when I think of you.

Sugar daddy Namor spoiling reader with everything that is possible and making she move into his palace?
Namor x Reader
Summary: You had simply done a good deed not expecting anything in return. But now you had a mysterious king showering you with gifts and affection.
Genre: Fluff angst and fluff.
AN: probably not what you had in mind but my brain just kept going
You met him days after moving back to your ancestral home. A bittersweet return to the large and solitary beach house you had inherited. You were determined to make the best of it despite how far you were from any town and the rumors that still lingered about your grandfather and other family. You had all been unique. The whispers that you could breathe underwater weren't necessarily wrong.
You had startled him that first day. You had swam far out wanting to cool down during the excruciating heat of the summer. If anyone saw you they would wonder about the bubble that covered your mouth and nose, like a clear scuba mask. Manipulating water was a skill that ran in your family and you had been taught how to preserve air for yourself early in childhood.
You were swimming deep when you saw the man drifting, his ankle tangled in long tendrils of seaweed. You'd never seen such a man with golden tanned skin, draped in jewelry, with small wings on his ankles. You swam up to him, already thinking of how you were going to drag a body back to the shore and how you would explain it to authorities.
You realized as you got closer that he didn't have the normal pale pallor that you would find with a drowned body. You cupped his cheek gently, feeling warmth. Your eyes widened just as he opened his own. He looked surprised but grabbed your hand before you could move away from him.
"Help me," You jolted when you heard his voice. It was not every day you met someone who could communicate underwater. The look in his eyes held no threat but only a silent plea. He tugged his leg and you could see just how tangled up he was.
You swam down and pulled at the seaweed. Yanking and clawing at the tendrils wrapped around his ankles. You nicked one of his wings with your nail and he jerked.
"Gently please, I'd rather not lose an appendage," He said, flicking his ankle.
You nodded and shrugged apologetically. He gave you a small smile in acknowledgement. You continued to tug at the plant but it only grew tighter. Giving up, you swam toward the ocean floor, looking for anything sharp.
"There's nothing, I already looked," the man said, swaying lazily in the water.
You glanced up at him, made a gesture to give you a moment, before you headed for the surface.
"Wait, don't just leave me here," You heard the man call to you.
In record time you swam back to shore and headed into your house. The machete you kept near the door was finally going to be put to some use for once. It was heavier than you remembered and even heavier once you were back underwater.
The man saw you approaching, "Woman, you could have told me you were coming back!"
You just laughed then started hacking away at the seaweed. Within the hour you found yourself sitting on the beach with the mysterious man. You both were exhausted and silent.
"Thank you, I'd been down there for awhile," the man said, running his fingers through his wet hair in embarrassment.
"How did you get stuck down there?" You asked as you wrung out your hair.
"That's the first question you ask? Not 'who are you?' or 'why do you have wings?' or 'how can you breathe underwater?'" The man asked incredulously.
"In case you didn't notice, I can also breathe underwater in my own way, and we got here much quicker because I manipulated the water to take us to shore. Whatever 'unique' qualities you have are not my business," You replied, "I'm y/n."
"Those on land call me Namor," he replied, taking in your features, "You are very beautiful."
The compliment caught you off guard making your face flush. "So, um, Namor, do you need anymore help?"
"With some rest I should be fine and to answer your previous question, I was hunting a fish," Namor leaned back looking out into the horizon. The sun was close to setting now, painting everything in a golden hue. He was stunning.
You shook your head to clear your thoughts, "You were hunting a fish?"
"There is a very specific fish, native to these islands, one of my people asked if I could find one. They want to study some aspect of it. I did not ask too many questions, I simply wanted a reason to venture farther than our borders. I did not expect the fish to be so hard to catch or smart enough to lure me into that forest of seaweed," Namor huffed and turned at the sound of your laughter, "Do I amuse you?"
"Yes," You replied unapologetically, "You look like a king, Namor, and you got caught in seaweed chasing a fish because you wanted to go out for a swim."
"I am a King, and yes that is true. In my defense, it was a rather small and fast fish," Namor couldn't help but chuckle at himself.
"Well, King Namor, it was nice to meet you, and save you. I won't pry anymore and I will keep your secret if you keep mine," You said as you got up and dusted off the sand. The sun had set and the cold was already settling in.
"Do you live in that place?" Namor asked, gesturing toward your home on the hill.
"Yes. It is my family home, although I am the only one left," You replied, a wistful look in your eyes as you took in the scene.
"It used to be full of life," Namor was standing next to you now, looking at your home, "I am sorry for your losses."
"You knew my family," You asked, surprised.
"I knew some of them. Your people have helped me before. Maybe those of us who can dwell in the ocean are all connected," Namor smiled down at you, "Be well, y/n. This will not be our last meeting."
He took your hand and kissed the back of it chastely before he walked back into the ocean. The blush had returned to your face, and only intensified as you watched the half naked man step back into the ocean with a rogue-ish smile playing across his face.
...
It started with flowers. Flowers of every kind, color, variety would appear in flourishing bouquets at your door step. Tied together with twine and always appearing in the morning. You never caught him but you knew they were his doing. It went on for two weeks before you made sure to wake up early enough that you could intercept him.
"You think I do not know when you are awake, pretty one," Namor said right next to your ear, making you jump. You had been waiting on your porch for hours in silence.
"Namor! Don't sneak up on me!" You exclaim, smacking his shoulder. He caught your hand and lay a kiss on your knuckles.
"You were waiting for me? Why have you not come to the beach? I have been waiting for you," Namor asked standing very close to you.
"I've been busy, and the storm has kept me inside," You weren't lying. You had been busy looking up anything you could find on the mysterious man before you. Although you hadn't found much. "You were waiting for me?"
"Yes, I have more gifts for you," Namor said with a grin, he pulled you to the bench near your door and sat you down. You noticed he actually wore a type of cloak or cape this time. Although he still wore those sinful shorts. From somewhere in the cape he pulled a small canvas bag. "I had this made for you."
You watched as he pulled a gold necklace on a hammered chain from the small pouch. A rough green gem hung from it and glinted in the light of the sunrise. You lifted your palm up to catch the hanging gem and admired it closely.
"Let me put it on for you," Namor insisted. You turned and allowed him to move your hair to the side and place the necklace around your neck. His soft touches and the light breeze of his breath sent shivers down your spine. You didn't know why you accepted it without any hesitation.
You turned to him, "Namor, why are you doing this?"
He let out an amused chuckle, "Is it not obvious? I am courting you."
You stared at him and felt your heart flutter as your face turned red. He brushed your hair out of your face then touched the jewel that now lay on your breastbone.
"This is a promise of my affections. I felt I needed to come on a bit stronger since the flowers weren't working. But, in yakunaj, nothing is too valuable for you," Namor winked at you as he combed his fingers through your hair.
"Affection? Courting?" You were still sitting in disbelief.
"Yes. I want you to be my queen, y/n," Namor said with a surety that came so naturally you just nodded.
You shook yourself out of your stupor, "But you don't know me, and I don't know you."
"This is true, but that is why I have come here and will continue to come here. I will make sure you know how much I admire and wish for you to be mine, and we can learn more about each other. It's simple, no?" Namor was being cheeky and you couldn't help but crack a smile.
"But I cannot stay today. I had only meant to give you your gift but I have some duties to attend to. I will return tomorrow at a much more convenient time for you," Namor stood with a flourish. The sun was now fully risen and the storm clouds that had been hanging on for the past week had dissipated. "Do not miss me too much in the mean time."
Namor kissed your hand again and started heading back to the beach, leaving you in a stupor. Your mind was racing and your heart was beating out of control. You fingered the necklace and a smile spread across your face. You'd never experienced anything like this before and you already knew that you were going to miss him.
...
The weeks that followed found you and Namor seeing each other daily. He brought gifts every time, from jewels to flowers. Food and artifacts he handmade. You tried to refuse some of the larger ones but he insisted. The amount of jewelry you now owned had more monetary value than you had in your whole life combined.
You spent days together talking and learning everything about each other. You learned that a couple centuries ago one of your ancestors had helped Namor and his people when a strong storm had washed his explorative mission team on to their beach. You learned about Talokan and its history. Namor asked about your family and your abilities. Swimming together and enjoying the water was one of your favorite pass times. Being able to spend time together on sea and land was a novelty for the both of you.
Months passed as you courted. He was ever the gentleman even when he had stolen a kiss from you and apologized for it. You had simply pulled him in for a deeper and longer kiss. You tried to give him gifts in return but he merely asked for affection instead.
Namor was touch starved to say the least. Once you were both comfortable with each other he could always be found holding your hand, playing with your hair, tracing his fingers across your skin, and practically being melded to your side.
When he had told you the name his people called him and insisted that you call him the same, you refused. No manner of convincing could make you change your mind, for now. You felt you were not worthy to call him that because you were still not sure if you would accept a proposal from him when the day came.
"In yakunaj, I want to show you Talokan," Namor said to you one day while you were huddled up on the couch in your living room. A nasty storm had been raging outside for three days and Namor had stayed with you.
You turned to him slightly, "Are you sure?"
"I want you to see the kingdom you will rule by my side," Namor kissed your temple, "I know you will love it."
Once the storm subsided Namor took you to see Talokan. His flourishing descriptions of it did not do it justice. It was more beautiful and magnificent than you could have anticipated. But his people were weary of you. He brushed it off but you saw how Namora and Attuma analyzed you, approached you with caution despite the enthusiastic welcome from their King.
When Namor returned you to your home the next day you did not let him know of your apprehension. As much as it pained you, you did not visit the beach for a few days. Even leaving your home to take a trip to town so that when he came looking you were no where to be found.
You intentionally returned back to your home during a storm. Hoping the torrential downpour would keep Namor at bay. But he was there waiting for you, soaked through with the cold rain, looking dejected as he sat on the steps of your porch. He stayed seated as you approached, looking up at you with searching eyes.
You stopped in front of him, not minding the rain that was soaking through your clothes. You had missed him so much. You had missed his soft touches, lingering kisses, and the way he made you truly feel like you deserved to be queen.
"In yakunaj, I don't know what I've done but let me fix it," Namor stood now, pulling you into his arms desperately. His hug was fierce and consuming as he spoke in your ear, "Whatever it is you want or need I will give it to you. If I upset you I will beg for forgiveness on my knees. If you are angry with me I will let you strike me. Just do not disappear from me again. In yakunaj, in reina. Please I can not bare it."
Tears welled up in your eyes and you hugged him back just as desperately, "I'm sorry."
...
"They do not matter, y/n. I just need to tell them how you saved me and they will welcome you," Namor had just listened to all your worries, "Regardless they will have to accept you since I chose you to be my queen."
"Namor, I don't want them to resent you," You were laying in his arms on the sofa, the fire blazing in the fireplace to warm you after your soak in the rain.
"They will see just how amazing you are, I promise," Namor reassured you.
"Ask them to tell you their thoughts, and don't punish them for it. I know how much Namora and Attuma mean to you. They are your family and know your people better than I ever could," You pleaded with him.
"And if they can accept you will you finally accept me? Will you be my queen and call me by my name?" Namor looked deeply into your eyes, tilting your chin up slightly. He glanced at your lips briefly.
"Yes, Namor. I will accept you if they accept me," You breathe out. His pupils darkened with desire just before he claimed your lips. His kisses soon softened as he whispered promises of your happiness and your future with him.
...
The next time you found yourself on the beach the sun was blazing as you waited. Then they rose from the surf, Namor flanked by Namora and Attuma. Your heart raced at the sight of the three of them. Namor gave nothing away as he approached you.
When he stopped short and Namora and Attuma stepped forward, you resisted the urge to back up. But they did not look at you with disdain as they did before. Instead they bowed on one knee and together said, "K reina!"
A smile exploded onto Namor's face as he quickly closed the distance between the two of you and lifted you in his arms. Before you could protest he wrapped his arm around your waist, cradled the back of your head and took your lips in a passionate kiss.
A soft but distinct cough interrupted you, and you felt yourself go hot with embarrassment. Namora had an eyebrow raised and looked slightly judgmental, but there was a softness to it. Attuma was smiling at the sight of you in the arms of the happy King.
"In yakunaj, I kept my promise," His cheeky smile was back.
You looked at the two Talokanil in front of you. Then the man at your side. He was as stunning as ever in the morning sun. Your doubts had been abated and the happiness in his voice made your heart skip a beat, "K'uk'ulkan, in ajawo', my love. Make me your queen."
Namor tilted his forehead against yours, trying to cover up the tears of joy that welled up in his eyes. That's when a small fleet of Talokanil broke the surface bearing more gifts of flowers, jewelry, and handmade goods. You gaped at the lavish display and the smiling faces of the people.
"What is that?" You turned to your king.
He ran his hand through his hair with a bashful look, "It was incase you said no and I needed to convince you a little more. It was Namora's idea. She said I hadn't given you enough if I was still convincing you!"
Namora looked flabbergasted and Attuma was openly laughing. It was a surprise to see the playful side of the Talokanil as Namora made an obscene gesture behind Namor's back. Even the people in the water were smiling.
"Let's go home," You finally said as you took Namor's hand, a smile gracing your face as you looked out to the sea.
...
AN: There we go. I know it could have been fluffier but I can't help where my brain goes sometimes.
Hope you enjoyed

. . . ⇢ ˗ˏˋ [ blog update ! ] ࿐ྂ
+ some housekeeping and info on new writing
hello my loves !! i wanted to give y'all some insight on what's been going on in my mind palace lately. there's a lot...so...cmon, take a walk w me...and maybe bring some snacks.
ੈ♡˳ first and foremost ! my work has received a lot more attention recently and i am so excited. with actual tears in my eyes, im happy to report that i surpassed 1,000 followers the other day. i am at a loss for words...just...stuck in a perma-state of disbelief.
im sending out the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported me, who's interacted with my work, to the lovely friends ive made though this account and to the heartbreakingly beautiful anime that brought me here in the first place. i am genuinely in awe...overwhelmed, even...i didn't expect any of this to happen when i started this blog and i am forever indebted to all of you for getting me here. im actively fighting off the inevitable surge of imposter syndrome as i type this out...i just love y'all so fucking much. this community means the world to me and i wanna scream at the top of my lungs in order to demonstrate my deepest appreciation for each and every one of y'all.
ੈ♡˳ secondly ! a message for my little angel babies, my day one followers; thank you for taking a chance on me. for watching me grow. for sticking around as i worked to get better at writing. im sure a lot of you started following me for my gamer!bf sukuna series...trust me, i love him and i know y'all do too. but i feel like my writing is heading in a different direction...and with a heavy heart, i'm absolutely gutted when i say that i am taking a pause on that series. i am forever grateful for the support and may return to him soon, though i cannot promise that. i owe so much of what my account is now to that series and i will never forget that.
for everyone who joined me as i delved into dark/dead dove content, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me a safe space to explore different forms of story-telling. my choso fic was the first stepping stone and then i skipped every other stone on the path and jumped head first into the deep end with my dead dove gojo fic...i deeply appreciate all the positive feedback i received on both of those. after posting them, i realized that i am very into writing dark content. i know that taboo themes/dark content/dead dove subject matter isn't for everyone and i understand people's apprehension in regards to it. but with that being said, i will be moving forward with publishing darker content.
ੈ♡˳ so here's the writing update !
i did a poll asking y'all what kind of content you enjoy. a good chunk of people said long form fics (which is great, cause i do too !! mommy needs plot). so, i am migrating away from one shot writing. both because i've been thinking about it for awhile and because y'all are into longer stories, as well. but fear not, i will still write shorter stuff along with headcannons, drabbles, etc...it just won't be the main focus of my blog anymore.
ੈ♡˳ now, time for the big reveal ! perhaps it's a bit anticlimactic, but bear with me...
im so excited to announce that i have two new series coming ! it will be a dark, modern!au featuring choso (with a few other special guests) and a dead dove sukuna series.
i'm almost finished with the outlines, and have fully completed the theme layout + mood boards for both works. i hope to get the first few chapters wrapped up in the next couple weeks. if you want to be tagged in either of these (or both), just leave a comment or send me a message !
(also !! i may or may not be cooking up a dark medieval au series in collaboration with another writer on here...so be on the lookout for that hehe)
while i take breaks from writing my two series, i'll be working through my requests ! so if you've sent one in, i promise i will get to it, unless i literally cannot think of a good way to write it (im only human, im so sorry). also, im sure we already knew this, but im a slowww writer. i wish i could churn content out quick as fuck but i am too hypercritical of myself…it's both a blessing and a curse, honestly.
if you made it all the way to the end of this nightmare of a brain dump, i love you. if you've been with me for a while, i love you. if you're just now joining me, i love you. everyone who’s supported me in any way, shape, or form, i love you.
i present you with the sloppiest kiss with tongue (only if you want it, of course. i can also give you the tightest hug, the gentlest head pat, or my social security number...access to all my bank accounts? a mansion in the hills? my passport? hand in marriage? my first born child? literally whatever you want, babe).
okay !! i think that's all for the updates. feeling: very ambitious and motivated but also overwhelmed and mildly stressed but overall super excited for what's to come. im looking forward to this new adventure and i hope y'all come along with me ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
thank you again…for literally everything. yall hold a special place in my heart and always will. so, here we go !
see you on the other side, my loves.

A Promise Between Brothers.
Jin and Chevalier have a conversation one night that ends with an emotional promise. This is from an idea I had awhile back and I just finally got around to writing it out. I wanted to explore the relationship between Jin and Chevalier a bit more as throughout the routes they seem to have an interesting relationship with eachother. Not exactly close but not one of hatred or fear like practically everyone else seems to have with Chevalier. WC approx 1050 and shoutout to @aquagirl1978 for helping me out with my question.
Prince Chevalier was done with work for the day and headed for his private library. When he opened the door he was greeted by what had become a familiar sight this past week.
“You're here again?”
Emma jumped a bit at Chevalier's voice and quickly looked around her. Clearly she had lost track of time while reading.
“I'm so sorry Prince Chevalier I didn't realize it was so late!”
“Obviously.”
“I'll just put this away and then…”
“There's no need. Your presence is not completely intolerable.”
“Thank you, I think.”
Emma returned her attention to the book in her lap and Chevalier walked over to the shelves choosing a book at random. Chevalier had intended to leave however he paused momentarily, it was clear Emma's thoughts were now distracted and he stared at her briefly before speaking.
“He is not upset for why you believe he is, not really.”
“Oh..”
Chevalier watched the different thoughts playing out across Emma's face and he sighed in agitation. He turned and left his private library behind walking through the halls until he came to a stop in front of a door he rarely entered.
******
Jin sat at the desk in their faction office going over yet another stack of paperwork. He'd never been the biggest fan of paperwork and since he'd been crowned king there was even more of it. Lately though he found himself not minding it so much, it gave him an excuse to be by himself and think and drink.
Jin had just poured himself another glass of whiskey and picked up an agricultural report when the office door swung open.
“Chevalier? Don't see you around here much.”
Jin watched as Chevalier closed the door and strode up to the front of the desk.
“Must be something big to bring you here, I know you don't like to waste time so what's up.”
“She was in my library again.”
“Sorry Emma's been disturbing you, I can talk to her about…”
“Her presence in my library is not the issue but a consequence of it.”
“Then what is the issue?”
Jin picked up his whiskey glass taking a small sip while Chevalier just studied him in silence.
“Unlike our brother I am not a fool. It's clear your impending departure and the recent news of her being with child has gotten the better of you."
Jin blinked at Chevalier then rubbed the back of his neck while sighing.
“I should have guessed you'd have figured out what was going on, do me a favor and don't say anything alright.”
“Indeed?”
Jin leaned forward resting his elbows on the desk and bringing his forehead to his clasped hands.
“History was already repeating itself but now... Our wedding is eleven weeks out, Leon and Clavis are leaving in a week for Jade and a few days after Nokto and I are heading to Benitoite and none of us will be back for almost a month. I had planned to take Emma with me but I can't now.”
Jin picked up his glass of whiskey and downed it in one go before pouring himself another one.
“Given what happened in the past and the current circumstances it is not foolish for you to be concerned.”
“If I'm being honest it's way past concern at this point.”
Jin absently twirled his glass looking off into the distance.
“I used to have bad dreams a lot. They were all from my past, mostly about before I came to the palace. The worst ones were about how my mom used to struggle and when she was sick and I couldn't afford to get her the medicine she needed. I hadn't had any though in a long time but they started up again the night Emma told me she was carrying our child.”
Jin took a big sip of whiskey.
“This time though instead of me and my mom it's Emma and our child in the dreams. It's her I see worrying about having enough of everything, of skipping meals so our child can eat of her getting sick and dying and our kid being so full of anger and sadness like I used to be. I was so sure I was careful too but I guess my luck finally ran out after all these years. I just wish it could have held out until the wedding, once we're married that's it she's protected as my wife and as queen. Instead though I have to leave her here alone and defenseless and it scares the hell out of me."
“That is where your miscalculation is, she is not alone or defenseless. Do you truly believe any of us are that useless or incompetent?”
Jin just stared at Chevalier in silence.
“When the previous King was gone the responsibility of protecting your mother should have been taken over by his useless brothers, however they decided to forgo the duty they had to their King and brother in that matter. They lacked the basic awareness and intellect to assess the likely outcomes of the situation and caused harm through it.
Our uncles may have been house broken beasts who failed to support their brother and let the court ministers order them around but we are not. Four eyes would never let it get to that point to begin with but if the ministers tried to work around him the rest of us would not hesitate to bare our fangs at them. Jin, myself and the others will keep her safe until you have returned. In fact watching over her will be a simple task.”
Jin was overcome with emotion, not that he'd admit it. He had never had the same issues with Chevalier that their brothers did not really but that didn't mean they were close either. Hearing him use his name wasn't even what mattered, it was his declaration that he would protect Emma for him. As Chevalier turned to leave, Jin called after him.
“Well your private library is certainly big enough to keep her entertained while I'm gone. Thanks Chevalier.”
“If you truly wish to thank me you and Black can procure some rare books for me while you are gone.”
Jin shook his head and chuckled.
“Just give Luke a list for us and we'll get it done.”

RoR men meeting their son from the future
Of course Tesla goes first 😭♥️🥹
🧬 “TA DA!”
🧬 Tesla was in his laboratory with all the other great minds (Galileo, Einstein, Isaac Newton) were talking about science, math, astrology, etc until BOOM! 💥 a pod lands in their laboratory and everyone is like: 👀👀
🧬 Tesla sees a young boy that resembles him and when they boy gets to talking about science he’s thinking to himself: “is this my son? From the future? (Name) and I had a baby?!”
🧬 “I’m from the future! I wanted to build a Time Machine and it worked! Hi, Dad!”
🧬 Tesla’s son hugs him with a smile and everyone is in shock 👀😳 Tesla just says “I knew it! That’s amazing you built a Time Machine-“ the two proceed to talk about the machine and science until Tesla introduces everyone to his son. (The two were in their own little world)
🧬 the shock on Tesla’s s/o face has to be unreal to see her son and husband getting along with each other and not finding the whole situation…odd? (That’s what happens when you’re with a scientist)
🧬 Once Tesla’s beloved get over the shock and oddity of it all the three definitely have a great time together, the son helping out in the lab with his father and everyone, helping out his mommy with anything. ♥️ (But the son usually hangs out with Tesla more)
🧬 When it’s time for the son to return home everyone cries except Tesla and his son; they are happy they got to see each other and know they’ll see each other again soon. ♥️
🍭Man was just eating an afternoon snack with his beloved and Kintoki when 💥 BOOM💥 a boy comes out this machine saying “I’m here!”
🍭Buddha just calmly says “Who is the brat?” “I’m your son!” Kintoki and (Name) are definitely: 😳👀 Buddha isn’t shocked or taken back. At first he thinks it’s a weird joke but the closed he looks at the boy and sees himself in the face Buddha believes him and he does like the boy.
🍭Building a Time Machine is new and Buddha definitely checks it out and now the four definitely chill all day. As the days go on Buddha call his son “My mini me.” The two are chill and get along well; Buddha’s son hasn’t reached his enlightenment and is working on it and as much as Buddha wants to help he knows his son has to do it on his own. (Aww ♥️🥹)
🍭Buddha will share his snacks of course and his son will share his; Kintoki will share the candy he makes with the two and he knows by the shared sweet tooth with Buddha that’s his son. ( 😆)
🍭Yes. Buddha does tease his son sometimes. “Have you gone thru puberty yet?” “Do you have a sweet one back in your time?” “Do you have brothers and sisters?” And the son always answers with “Sorry, can’t tell you that. Time stream could change.”
🍭Buddha’s beloved definitely puts a blanket on Buddha and their son when they take naps, whether on the sofa, bed, outside, etc. ♥️
🍭When it’s time for their son to go back home he definitely has hard time going back because both parents don’t want him to leave. Buddha puts several snacks in his sons Time Machine too and when his son waved bye Buddha says “They grow up so fast.”
🎵 Hermes and his beloved were just having tea in the gardens at Zeus’ palace when BOOM 💥 A young boy just calmly sits down beside them and says “Hello mom, hello dad.” And just pours himself a cup of tea like it’s nothing.
Hermes at first is like: “What’s with this child?” He’s calm but he’s like “Who is this? Did he just call me Dad?”
🎵 It takes awhile for the boy to realize he’s in the past; as Hermes and his beloved find out he’s actually speedster god like his dad. Apparently the boy was out late and needed to be home. Hermes pieced together that he may have ran a bit too fast and went back in time. ( 🏃♂️⚡️ 💨)
🎵 “Well, since you’re here you might as well have dinner.” Hermes takes it better than most and already has a room where his son can sleep and asks many questions all of which his son is happy to answer, somewhat, as he doesn’t want to alter the time stream but he also inherits his father’s mind and doesn’t tell all the information.
🎵 This is all for not because the boy ends up staying; Hermes just says it’s better for him to stay here and travel to the future whenever he wants. Which the son happily does.
🎵 Everyone is definitely surprised Hermes has a son, hell Hermes and (Name) married just a few days ago. Ares is the most shocked at seeing the boy, the whole time travel thing racks his brain but he’s glad to teach the boy combat 🗡️. Zeus didn’t approve at first but as time went on he definitely has a soft spot for his grand son ⚡️
🎵 Hell everyone likes the boy, Aphrodite, Hades, Apollo, Hercules and yes even Poseidon (Buddha gives the boy candy if he sees him, actually Buddha is the only that actually sees him running 🏃♂️ with his ability)
🎵 Hermes and the boy definitely compose a lot of music together; sometimes the slow music puts (Name) to sleep but that’s okay. Apollo asks for the two to play music for them and sometimes they do; all three do.
🎵 Yeah Hermes son is definitely the favorite and his father and mother doesn’t spoil him…not at all.

Hi, I love your work! I was wondering if you could please do a kind of part 2 to the Crosshair breeding kink where he comes back to find her pregnant, if you’re comfortable with that? Thanks!
< Part 1 | Part 3 >
Author's Note: I actually had some random ideas floating around in my mind palace for this sort of thing, so you came by at the perfect time. Time to expand on this idea! I really struggled at the end and I'm not totally pleased with it but I hope you enjoy none the less.
Relationships: Crosshair/Fem!Reader
Warnings: Actual pregnancy, Morning sickness, Tokophobia warning (trying to get hit by people's blacklist just in case they don't like this sort of thing), Feels, Fluff, Too fluffy for crosshair? maybe but eh lets have fun
It's been over a month now, since he broke into your apartment. You've gotten a few days here and there together in-between since, but now has been the longest gap.
It must be a rough one, as you've barely heard a word from him since he was sent off this time.
A lack of communication from him while he's deployed isn't unusual, nor unexpected. Sometimes he's too far away, sometimes they have strict orders for all comm equipment to stay off; Sometimes he just isn't in the mood. But either way, you know things are hectic out there.
Though sometimes you'll get one single message, just enough to know he's ok. It helps soothe your nerves, and Crosshair is a creature of habit; He hates breaking the system you've had for awhile now.
But even if you knew what you signed up for with this, you still wish he was here.
Especially right now as you standing staring in the bathroom mirror, glossing over that you look so much more tired than usual before looking down at the countertop.
Seven different tests lay out on your bathroom counter, all telling you the exact same thing. Your calendar tells you the same answer, but in a more subtle way. No matter how many more ways you try to frame it, the picture is always going to come out looking the same.
You're pregnant.
You hold a fruit in your hand, still cold to the touch and take a bite. It's crisp and tart, frigid against your teeth. It's been the only thing you've been able to eat all day, without throwing it up a short while later.
Every single thing you do points to the exact same conclusion, no matter how much it twists your gut. Or maybe it's your condition twisting your gut; Perhaps both. You take another bite of the fruit in your hand, and leave the refresher to go sit down on your bed. It's an overbearing silence, staring at the ground about a meter ahead of your feet as your lips purse tight.
You're not nearly as shocked by the revelation as you thought you might've been. Or as off put. The idea has never been out of the question, and it wasn't as if you and Crosshair had exactly been playing it safe.
Speaking of him... You wonder what he's going to think about all of this.
You know he likes you, said that he loves you in almost every meaning of the word; But does it include this? It's never been off the table for you, whenever you thought about your future.
You know it wouldn't be easy. The throws of the fury from Separatist aligned planets are still taxing on the clones, and it likely will be for a long while. This war won't end instantly, at least not traditionally.
You left all that garbage on the counter, and with a soft sigh you slide off the bed and go to throw it all away. Gathering them up, you throw them in the trash; They fulfilled their purpose, gave you the answer you needed.
You hope Crosshair comes back to you soon.
Crosshair's eyes glance towards a shockingly bright neon sign he passes on the way to your apartment, and sees the current time towards the bottom.
04:45.
Even if it's the technically the dead of night, Coruscant is always bustling, just a little less than usual. He isn't a stranger to taking respite in ungodly hours, though now more often with you than being completely alone.
You'd given him the code to your place because of it, so he could enter no matter what time of night he managed to steal for himself. You'll surely be asleep, so he'll have to be quiet. Not too much so, he'd rather you not think he's breaking in again. It was amusing in hindsight, but he isn't eager to have you pointing a blaster at him again.
No one is around in the hall to see him punch the code in and hear the soft hiss of your door slide open, before he slips inside and closes it behind him.
It seems he won't need to be quiet this time around however, as he sees you still awake curled up on your couch with a few different snacks and an array of other things, tight in a blanket. Almost all the lights are off, but there's still a soft glow to the room.
"Sick?" He says, as you've already turned towards him when the door opened.
"Cross!"
You stumble and fight the blanket to escape and rush over to him, it still around your shoulders as you hug him. He stiffens; A habit that he's yet to break. But when his body finally relaxes just a bit, you look up at him as his hand shifts around the handle of his rifle case. He'll never let it leave his sight. His face is largely the same neutral expression, but you can see by the way that his eyes are darting across your face that he seems almost confused. At your actions, more than likely.
"You spammed my datapad." You nod.
"And Tech's." Guilty.
"I, had something to tell you." You've been waiting for days now since you'd found it, sitting in limbo overthinking. You feel nauseous, and it's hard to tell if it's nerves or the morning sickness. It's more than likely both, which doesn't help matters in the slightest.
"That important?" He says walking towards your bedroom, following you past the door. Sitting down on the edge of the bed you look up and over at him, giving a good look over.
Even if he's a good and hiding his emotions, you can tell that he is beat; The dark circles under his eyes are more intense and you can see the exhaustion in his eyes. He sits his rifle case on the ground at the end of your bed but still in sight.
Crosshair prides himself on his patience when it comes to his ability to stake out a target; But it's still gnawing at him seeing you trying to figure out what to say or how to say it.
"I," You stop for a moment, adjusting the blanket around your body. It's so cold tonight, though it's partly caused by you opening the windows for some fresh air.
"I'm pregnant, Cross."
You've seen a lot of emotions subtly cross his face over all the time you've known him, but his genuine surprise is a new one. It's still subtle, but the way his lips just barely pull apart and his eyes widen cue you in. But he doesn't say anything. You can tell he's thinking, and you want to know what it is.
"Say something?" You purse your lips, feeling your tight throat. "I know it's, probably not what you wanted to hear after coming back but-" Crosshair lets out a soft 'tch'.
"What; You think I'd just bail?" You look up at Crosshair, tensing. Part of you almost wants to get a bit angry at his tone, but you're too tired for it.
"I didn't know. You're... Not exactly an open book, Cross." You make a vague gesture towards the side of your head.
“And there’s a lot going on up here. I've barely eaten anything in days, and when I dropped my hair tie this morning I cried for almost half an hour.” You notice his eyebrows raise, and he seems displeased at what you've said.
"Days?" You nod.
"Just some fruit I had lying around. Everything else is just disgusting." That explains the compete mess of food across your beside table; Trying to find something to eat. When he asks if there's something you want, you look up at him and shake your head.
You can tell he's thinking, but is keeping it all locked inside his head. You hate that he does it, but you'll pry it all out of him in the morning. There's still so much more that needs answering but five in the morning isn't the time for it.
And more than anything, you just want to hold onto him now that you have him back in arms reach again.
"Nah. I can't eat anymore today. Don't feel like it." He jerks his head forward, in the direction of the bed you're sitting on.
"Get in. It's too fucking late to be awake." He puts his helmet down, before taking off his armor piece by piece going upward. Every part gets laid out meticulously in front of his rifle case, and it's all in sight no matter where in the room he goes. When he's finished and only in his body glove, you're under the blankets and quietly watching him. he changes from it and into a few casual clothes he has stored in your closet; That are far more comfortable than his GAR approved blacks.
Afterwards he slip in beside you, and assumes the same way you always sleep together; With him pulling your back against his chest, his chin on the top of your head. If you don't start in this position, you'll always end up this way by the morning. It feels particularly nice right now, to be able to touch him; Have him right here. You missed him, and Crosshair is far too clingy to not feel at least marginally the same.
But he's more quiet than usual, and you can only equate it with him still thinking. Tomorrow you'll have an actual conversation about this. No one should be talking this emotionally when they haven't slept and the sun is about to rise.
The gentle sounds of air taxis speeding through the skyway outside make a gentle hum, along with the sound of the climate controls you'd cranked down to almost freezing thanks to the nausea making you feel so hot. Crosshair is a massive heat leech, so he's surely not enjoying how cold you've made the room. At least he has your heated body to keep him comfortable.
But as time passes and the sky is just starting to brighten, you feel him adjust a bit, and it wakes you up from that foggy space between awake and asleep. Your eyes stay closed, but you can feel his chest against your back move, before the arm that was wrapped around your ribs gently pulls away and moves to your belly instead. He's at least somewhat awake, despite being so tired.
He must think you're asleep. You can feel the way his hand drifts all the way down from your ribs, down to right below your belly button, then up again. It's a conscious motion, one that he keeps silently doing.
You're only guess is that he's feeling for something that can't be felt quite yet, or imaging what it will be like when it is.
The soft motion makes your gut churn a little bit less about his thoughts, deciding to get some more well needed sleep as your legs tangle with his own.

The Complexities of a Black Hole || Pt. 3
The Complexities of a Black Hole — Pt. Three

Seven thousand miles.
You traveled nearly seven thousand miles to accompany Bucky for his stay in Wakanda.
The equatorial circumference of the Moon is barely over six thousand and seven hundred miles around. You practically took a trip around the moon… all for Bucky.
He couldn’t believe what Steve was saying. “I didn’t come alone… Y/n is here too. And she’s staying for awhile, Bucky.”
Part of him didn’t want to believe Steve. Bucky didn’t want to believe that someone would pause their own life to come to an unknown country halfway across the world, a distance equal to an entire trip around the moon, just for him. Especially when that someone was you.
Bucky’s hands were starting to grow hot and tingly, and he swore his throat was closing up.
“Where is she now?” He inquired to an apologetic-faced Steve.
Steve offered a sigh, taking a quick glance down to his watch. “They landed right after us last night, I think T’Challa said Y/n would be meeting his mother first, then get settled in a room somewhere inside the palace. She’s safe, Buck – and she’s really happy to be here for you.”
“But why? Why would she come all this way just for me?”
Steve shook his head dismissively. “I’m not the one who can answer that for you, Bucky.”
Bucky wasn’t sure what he wanted more… to break out of this room and run to you, or break out of this room and run from you. In his mind, both options seemed to end with disaster.
The morning sky outside began to darken with storm clouds, raindrops beginning to pelt his window. It was eerie how Bucky could relate so heavily with nature at times, because just as the outside world was drowned out in a deep shadow of uncertainty, so was Bucky. He sat hunched over at the edge of his bed, his head dropped with frustration. Not with you, but with himself. Bucky was frustrated that he managed to put himself in this position, and he was frustrated with how close he allowed himself to get with you. Maybe if he had been more reserved, you would not have felt the urge to tag along on this journey. Maybe you would have stayed behind, sending Bucky well wishes from seven thousand miles away instead of being just steps from him.
“Listen,” Steve's strong voice pulled Bucky from his spiraling thoughts. “In two weeks I’ll be back to make sure you’re getting settled in alright. We’ll see how things are going and… we’ll continue on from there.” Bucky barely raised a brow at his words, knowing that in just a moment Steve would leave and Bucky would be left alone in his observation room, which was growing darker and darker by the minute. Just when Bucky thought Steve was turning on his heels to hightail it out of there – a lock clicked and whirred from the door, and Steve was entering Bucky’s room.
A warm hand landed on Bucky’s back, prompting him to stand and be pulled into Steve’s awaiting embrace.
“Everything will be alright Buck, I promise.”
Steve was warm-blooded. He had to be. His chest radiated a warmth Bucky hadn’t felt in what seemed like decades. Yet, despite this welcomed warmth, a light tremble radiated from Bucky’s body. “I’m scared, Stevie. What if this doesn’t work?”
Stevie. A nickname given in their early middle school years, a nickname that held so much weight and comfort, a name that Steve knew Bucky only used on rare occasions. Bucky felt small within Steve’s grasp. He silently wished he could stay there for a while longer. Maybe Steve’s super-soldier serum granted him mind reading capabilities, because he gave Bucky his wish. With a firm squeeze across Bucky’s back, Steve allowed him to stay against his chest for another minute or so. Bucky didn’t care to count the time as it passed.
“Then we’ll figure out something that will.” Steve mumbled across the top of Bucky’s head. “But I know you like the back of my hand. You have always been a fighter, Buck. You’ve just gotta fight for a little bit longer.”
The cold creeped back in, tangling around Bucky’s skin as Steve pulled away.
“These two weeks will go by faster than you realize, and I’ll be here the second they let me come back, alright?”
Bucky nodded dismissively, and he knew his time with his best friend was over for now.
“I’ll see you soon.” Bucky offered quietly, too scared to say anything more in case his voice gave out.
Steve met Bucky’s tired eyes, the deep blue of his irises now drained to a cloudy gray, much like the sky right outside. “Bye Buck.”
And, in less than a minute, Bucky was once again all by himself, cowered in a chair placed by the desk, casting his gaze out of the window to watch the storm as it rolled into Wakanda.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
The Wakandan air smelled sweet in the springtime – a mix of blooming flower petals and the mist of waterfalls that were weaved into the deep green landscape miles away. You spent a long time taking it in, each breath filling your lungs more than the last, staring out at the bustling city below the balcony attached to your room in the palace. Songbirds whistled out in the distance, their gentle melody riding with the breeze. Noticing a line of deep charcoal storm clouds rolling in from the west, you soaked in every bit of sunshine available to you before the eventual downpour began. The calm atmosphere gave you some time to reflect on the past few days, and it was hitting you hard.
Seven thousand miles.
You traveled seven thousand miles to be with Bucky on this journey of hopeful healing, and you were nothing but grateful to be here with him. You wished more than anything that you would be able to see him soon, but as T’Challa explained last night as you arrived, it might be a while before that happens.
“We want him to get settled in first, and in a couple of days we will see if he is making good enough progress to have guests.”
Sure, you were completely understanding given the circumstances, but to say you were only getting antsy was an understatement. Impatient might be the better word to explain how you felt in this moment. Spending the entirety of last night pacing this guest room only quelled your thoughts for the time being.
Does he even know I’m here?
Maybe it was for the best if Bucky didn’t know, for his observation period at least, that you had tagged along. It would only give him something else to worry about.
A sudden knock at the door pulled your thoughts away from getting too far ahead of you. Without moving to answer it, you heard a friendly voice call out.
“Oh thank goodness you’re awake, I thought you were going to be jet lagged all day long!” It was Shuri, and she was now standing in the middle of the room, her hands hanging at her sides as she looked at you expectantly. There was a pause, then, “Is that what you’re wearing?” She nearly burst out laughing as her index finger pointed at how you were dressed, still in your solar-system print pajamas you’ve had since grad school.
The two of you met last night, and it was a truly exciting introduction. Shuri was over the moon that she would have someone as educated in astronomy as yourself to help her in the labs, and she informed you that she would take you to the lab today to show you around and get you acquainted with all of the equipment. You just didn’t expect this tour to be happening now.
Before you could open your mouth to speak, Shuri was behind you playfully shoving you towards the closet. “Come on now we have no time to waste, get dressed!”
Ten minutes and a fast-paced half-mile walk later, you and Shuri arrived at one of the labs in Wakanda. Towering above the both of you, you had to crane your neck all the way back to get a good look at it. The long windows that spiraled around it allowed you to peek inside, noticing a few people bustling around inside already. “It’s cool — isn’t it?” Shuri gave you a moment to take it in before a lightning strike cracked in the distance, a loud rumble of thunder following just seconds after. Her eyes grew in size, and her hand landed on your forearm, tugging gently as she led you towards the doors. “Okay enough of that – let's get inside before we are fried to a crisp.”
The two of you laughed in sync, booking it inside the entrance right as thick drops of water began pelting at the ground outside.
“Goodness – that was a close call,” exclaimed Shuri as she wiped a rogue raindrop from her temple. “Now c’mon, let me show you your new playground for the next few weeks…”
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Seven thousand miles.
It’s the distance Bucky wishes he could run to get away from this cold, depressing room.
He was sitting adjacent to a soft spoken woman, Dr. Onai, one of the therapists he’d be working with during his stay. For the last hour she had been asking general intake questions, and Bucky was starting to itch with boredom. Her tone suddenly changed, and now Dr. Onai was attempting to dig a little deeper.
“So, the man that left a few hours ago, his name is Steven, right?” Dr. Onai started with.
Bucky shifted in his chair. “Just Steve, but yeah.”
“Just Steve…” She wrote some notes down in a thick, pale blue notebook that sat crooked on her lap. “And how long have you guys known each other?”
“Since we were kids. We basically grew up together.” Bucky’s palms began to grow warm and slick, and he unsubtly rubbed them against the loose sweatpants he wore.
“Do you remember what year you met? You can ballpark it if you don’t re-”
“1929,” Bucky interrupted. He could recall the day he and Steve met for the first time like it was yesterday. “I was walking my sister, Rebecca, to the corner store. She had gotten a good grade on a test at school and our mom gave her a nickel for it. We had to pass this dingy playground on the way, and that’s where I first saw Steve, getting smacked around by these assholes a year or two older, just for saving some other tiny kid from their torture.” A faint smile curled at Bucky’s lips. “I told Becca to go ahead and grab her candy, then ran over to get Steve out of that mess. It certainly wasn’t the last time I got the punk out of trouble.” He shook his head lightly, refraining from going on a tangent about how Steve practically begs for trouble to find him. “Anyway, he and I have been close ever since.”
Dr. Onai nodded, writing down as much as she could catch from Bucky’s statement. A few seconds later, she asked, “Is there anyone else besides Steve that you’re close to?”
Bucky knows he shouldn’t lie. He knows this thing only works if he tells the full and honest truth. But God – he couldn’t bring himself to say your name in the moment, he couldn’t bring himself to unscrew that can of worms that would force Dr. Onai to stay in that stupid room with him for hours and hours on end. No, for now you would be his little secret. Bucky was still at odds with his feelings about you, so you wouldn’t be mentioned – yet.
“No, just Steve really.”
Dr. Onai hummed in a confused tone, but she didn’t press any further. Instead, she simply finished her writing before gently closing her blue notebook. “Okay, Bucky, I think that’s all we’ll cover for today. For your homework, I want you to write down what you do for the rest of your day, and how you feel — mentally and physically.” She tapped at the thick hardcover of a journal sitting on Bucky’s desk. “It doesn’t have to be a long entry, but tomorrow when we have our session I just want you to show me the page so I know you wrote down something. I won’t read it in full, I just want to see you’ve taken the time to connect with yourself, okay?”
“Yeah, sure thing.” Bucky agreed in a convincing enthusiastic tone.
He watched as Dr. Onai stood and left, the thick metal door automatically locking at her exit. For the second time today, Bucky was once again alone.
He peered down at the spacious desk beside him, his hand slowly moving toward the journal. His pointer finger slowly traced the spine, then across the edges of the cover. Tempted to open it and get this “homework” over with now, he reached for a black ink pen. But something inside of Bucky was working against him, and he set the pen down slowly, the oddly-spacious bed suddenly calling out for him.
He stared up at the ceiling for what seemed like hours, but as the noisy storm outside lingered at his window, he knew only a few minutes had passed. A few thoughts crossed Bucky’s mind at the same time. Worries about this therapy situation. How embarrassed he was over this entire predicament. How stupid he felt. How angry he was at Hydra for creating this monster inside of him in the first place. How disappointed he was in you for coming here with him. Something inside of Bucky stirred, and he began to feel antsy. He could feel his heart rate elevating, his breaths coming faster and faster yet unable to escape because his throat was starting to tighten, restricting the airflow. His palm began to tingle, a warmth slowly rising in his chest. Great — he couldn’t even lie down without having a panic attack.
Bucky got up with haste, his eyes landing on the shower inside the en suite bathroom. Maybe this could distract him, help him think of anything other than the persisting troubles he currently faced, even if only for a few moments. Standing idly in the doorway, his hand reached over for the light switch, squinting as the dim white light filled the room. Bucky huffed, his head already beginning to hurt. Opening the glass door that separated the shower from the rest of the room, Bucky slowly twisted the handle and pointed it all the way down to the big H. As water began to trickle out of the showerhead, he moved away to discard his clothes.
His muscles were tense, tight, and sore in every place imaginable. The creases along his forehead scrunched together as he removed his shirt, something Bucky would not have noticed. As he placed his clothes in a pile on top of the sink counter, he didn’t dare take a single glance at his reflection in the mirror. There is no telling the mess he would make if he caught a glimpse, either. All of the pent up wrath sat inside of him like a hungry tiger caged at a circus show. This poor abused animal, locked and chained up, expected to put on a performance for everyone's amusement. Bucky knew how dark his thoughts would turn after making a grave mistake like that – looking at the man he hated so much.
Instead, Bucky crouched down to the lower cabinet and retrieved a light gray washcloth before moving toward the shower once again. A billow of steam rolled across his skin as he opened the glass door, leaving goosebumps in its wake as it warmed his cold limbs. A deep sigh left his mouth once the hot water soaked his hair, his back and chest growing red from the heat. It took him a while to move for the shampoo — he hated washing his hair with one hand. Not to mention the thick brown locks were getting unruly, some of them even starting to curl up at the ends from the lack of haircuts, which made it that much more difficult to wash it properly. Once he finally willed himself to, a short-lived grin appeared on his face seeing that the soap bottled mindfully included a pump.
The grin promptly disappeared once the scent of the shampoo found its way to his nose.
Coconut.
God dammit – no matter how hard Bucky tried to rid his mind of you, you somehow always found your way back.
Now plainly annoyed, Bucky washed his hair. But as the warm comforting smell of coconut lingered in the air and his eyes were squeezed shut, there was nothing to stop the infiltrating thoughts of you his mind conjured up.
Bucky couldn’t lie to himself anymore. Yeah sure, he was definitely still angry and disappointed at your decision to come here, but fuck did he miss you like crazy. Bucky missed every part about you. The sound of your voice, the sight of your smile, your dim-witted and poorly-timed jokes that would make him double over in a fit of silent teary-eyed laughter, your calming affirmation, the way you smelled, the peaceful beating of your heart. He missed it all so much.
As the thought of everything you danced through his head, he mindlessly rinsed the soapy mess from his hair and began washing his body. The boiling water was helping soothe his muscles, yet he still felt rather tense down through his torso and legs. But as Bucky guided the washcloth across his inner thigh, he suddenly stopped. His knuckles had barely grazed over his swelling tip, but the ghostly touch alone was enough to elicit an embarrassingly shaky breath out of him. Touching himself wasn’t even on his mind until he started washing his body, but now it took a place in his mind alongside you, clouding his thoughts and turning them way too inappropriate for his liking. Bucky was many awful things, but when it came to his interactions with others, he was nothing short of a gentleman.
Bucky pleaded with himself to think of something else, anything else, but his problem only grew tenfold when a blurry vision of your face came to his mind. The tips of his fingers traced a vein that traveled the length of his cock, but he forced his hand to a stop before he could go further.
A picture of your plush lips played behind his eyes, taunting him as they fashioned into a playful smirk. More than anything Bucky wished it was those sinful lips gliding along his cock, as they would surely feel heavenly compared to his calloused hand.
“Fuck-” he cursed under his breath. It was borderline mortifying how sensitive he felt at the moment. If too big of a water droplet landed in the wrong place he probably couldn’t stop the twitch his cock would give. Some temptations are too strong to deny. Bucky couldn’t seem to give less of a shit about willpower as he finally gave in and allowed his fingers to wrap around his shaft, his hand slowly moving up and down over his hardened cock. The groans left Bucky’s mouth in harmony, a whine or two finding its way out when he pulled too hard or too fast. His legs trembled, but he held them sturdy to keep upright.
Bucky couldn’t escape the thought of you. As he imagined exactly how you would take your time with him, his mouth fell open in a desperate gasp of air and his brows scrunched together ever so tightly. His thumb stroked across the whiteness leaking from his tip and he imagined what your tongue would feel like prodding at the head of his cock, swallowing down the mess he was making. How would Bucky feel seeing you on your knees like that for him? Would Bucky put his hand behind your head, slowly guiding you forward? Or would he let you take complete control, fully aware you would give him way more than he could ever ask for? Would you let him cum inside your warm little mouth?
“Fuck fuck fuck f— aahhh!” Bucky tipped his head back, panting as his orgasm hit hard. He stayed still, continuously pumping as cum slipped from the head of his cock, ropes of sticky white falling to the shower floor, small drops collecting on his fist and thigh. He didn’t move as the warmness dripped down, sending a chill through his spine.
The regret was immediate. Shame was next in line, followed by immense guilt. The guilt of picturing you like that opened a pit in Bucky’s stomach. Why couldn’t he just control himself? What would you say if you knew he did that? Would you be just as ashamed of him as he was of himself? Bucky was well aware he was stepping into unknown territory. He knew he harbored a certain feeling for you that a mere friendship could never convey, but Bucky had never felt like this towards anyone else in his life – ever. Not in his childhood, not in high school, not even in his twenties when women swooned over him left and right. The only time he could remember feeling a fraction of this way for someone was in his late teens when he and Steve messed around, but still – those feelings were complicated and rather miniscule compared to how he felt about you.
He finished his shower minutes later, finding a thick ivory towel to dry himself off. After dressing again he walked over to the desk in his room, water still dropping from the ends of his hair, sat down and opened the journal in front of him. Without hesitation, he grabbed the nearest pen and began to write. And write, and write, and write, only stopping for a few moments to scarf down his lunch when it came. Collecting his thoughts on paper was apparently exhilarating, and his chicken-scratch words covered the first sixteen pages, front and back. He didn’t finish writing until the thunderstorm was long gone and the twilight sky colored his room a navy blue, a spotlight of silver covering the floor where the moon peered in.
Later that night, Bucky realized how grueling these next two weeks would be, especially knowing you were so close by. But despite this near proximity, you still felt light years away from Bucky’s reach. These upcoming days would surely suck the life out of him – but he was desperate to get through this so he could see you again.

ok, it's star trek update time. tonight we watched ds9's "playing god" and tng's "eye of the beholder."
playing god (ds9):
i'm trying. SO SO SO HARD to get into dax and it's just not working
out of the 3 dax episodes we've had so far this one included two of them have been mid and one of them was just slightly better than average mostly for the questions it prompted in my mind palace, not necessarily the questions asked by the episode itself
in s1 dax had basically no personality, but in s2 when she does have a personality it seems to be a different one every time. like in one episode she was very prissy and in others she's just one of the guys! and then at other times she reverts to this very buttoned up bordering on bland science officer from s1 again
and then every once in awhile she'll be like oh yeah i LOVE sex i LOVE being a super hot woman who everyone wants to FUCK!!! i can get whatever i want with my SEX APPEAL even though my hair is WEIRDLY SHAPED. and look i am so happy for her and she should literally get some but it borders on the kind of misogyny that starts genuinely annoying me. it is kind of like that anime trope where the teen boy gets put into a body with tits and he can't stop messing with them. its like. idk reducing her to a body, or reducing her to jadzia's body, which dax is taking for a ride to feel hot and fuckable?? it's very blurry what's jadzia and what's dax
WHICH is the most fascinating part of dax, which is where the trill ends and the symbiant or however you spell it begins, but we don't get into that quite as much as i'd like
anyway i guess a shifting personality is a natural result of living 7 lifetimes but it doesnt FEEL like thats why theyre doing it, it FEELS like they just cant seem to keep her consistent
that said. while i did not like this episode or this little guy dax was showing around i DID like the implication that curzon was actually a huge fucking asshole. i love that he can be loved by many people but was still an asshole. it's complex. and now one of the people he abused (?) or at least was an asshole to is now. his successor. IT'S COMPLEX!!! what are he and jadzia to each other...imagine meeting curzon dax and then just becoming him. that's wild. so, points for that! genuinely. it just feels like the trill thing is fascinating because of trills and not because of jadzia dax in particular. i'm gonna keep trying to like her. maybe once she starts banging worf things will be different
eye of the beholder (tng):
ohhhh i hated this one so much (suicide cw for this one lol)
firstly, i don't trust tng to handle the subject of suicide any more than i trust them to handle multiple personalities, but they tried to very special episode it anyway. all of them were so shocked at the very THOUGHT of it i guess because they eliminated all mental illness in tos?? but it was so funny in the rage-inducing way like "maybe he needed to think of the obstacles in his life as challenges to overcome!" come on.
also lmao picard like ive never had to report a suicide before...........girl you have literally told 2 people to kill themselves
and then they dropped the very special episode plot halfway through for this psychic mystery...
here's the thing. if everyone had been searching for a REASON someone who seemed to be perfectly happy would do this, and in the end the answer was just "nothing was going on, he was just hiding a lot of pain, even if we don't want to believe that" that would have been a STELLAR gutpunch. but there literally was foul play involved
AND NOT ONLY THAT! BUT THEY FAKED ME OUT WITH WORF E DEANNA
my ONLY consolation was that they were finally kissing and then later fucking but NO!!!! all a dream
i was already conflicted because deanna e worf means a temporary breakup from deanna e riker but i wanted it anyway and i was so happy when they gave it to me and then they KILLED IT? maybe the actors hated it because it fucking sucked
like, no wonder everybody let deanna walk around unsupervised when there was a high suicide danger. she was dreaming. no one in real life would ever allow this
i wish also that creepy men would stop coming to deanna's quarters to be creepy to her
final note: was told the creepy man was in spn. clocked him as alistair almost immediately. faceblind WHO
TOMORROW: ds9's "prophet and loss" and tng's "genesis" (dread).

Anon asked ...
" Okay! So I had this adorable thought! Could you do a Raine Whispers and a Child/Baby!reader where the reader is crying at night and Raine either plays music or sings them to sleep? "
On it!
[ Reader is aged no older than four-five years ]
( ALSO I DUNNO HOW/WHERE THE HEAD WITCHES LIVE IN CANON SO NOW THEY ALL LIVE IN A WING OF THE PALACE THING NOW. YAY. )
( TAKE RAINES VA SINGING THAT I ONLY GOT FROM A NICE ANON THANK YOU ANON MWA Raine's Voice Actor Singing )
( Renny/Ren/Renna - gender neutral mommy/daddy/mom/dad according to my research.)
---
Raines eyes blinked open, and even before they heard the next noise they knew exactly what it was. They sat up, the covers pooling around their waist. The book they were reading was open face-down on the bed, the pages folded from their negligence. They adjusted their glasses as the child creaked the door open a little more.
"Renna? Are you-"
"Yeah, I am. What's up?"
Y/N had been sick all night, feverish and even throwing up. Raine was worried for a moment that they would need to change Y/N's sheets. Y/N stood at the door awkwardly, hanging off of the door handle like they weren't sure what to do with their hands.
"I don't.. feel good."
"I know that," Raine smiled, opening their arms and inviting Y/N to come and join them on the bed. "What hurts?"
"..I don't know."
"Well, that makes it a little harder, babe. Tummy?"
"No. I just.."
Y/N struggled for a minute, thinking and getting situated on Raine's lap. The head witch snuck their hand under the back of Y/N's shirt, pressing their cool hand to the hot expanse of skin. Y/N shuddered.
"Just feverish, maybe? Feel a little clumsy?"
"Yeah." Y/N sighed. "I don't wanna go back to bed."
Raine looked over at the clock. It was almost three in the morning. If Y/N stayed up now they'd be out by six in the evening. Raine shrugged.
"Sorry, kiddo. I gotta get you back to sleep so you can stay up longer with Uncle Darius."
"But Renny-"
"Here, you wanna lay down in here for awhile? Maybe you'll change your mind."
Y/N hummed, unconvinced. "I think you're a liar."
"Don't calm me that. Lie down, I'll tell you a story."
"I don't want a story."
Y/N complained, but did a little jig to get situated under the covers. Raine laughed quietly, switching the lamp off again and tugging Y/N's warm little body to theirs.
"What do you want then?"
"A snack."
"Nope. Try again."
"Renny. Fine, song."
"Okay, that's a reasonable request."
Raine chuckled again, humming to themself for a moment. Y/N wiggled around and Raine wrapped their arms around the writhing child, hushing them before they could complain. They were silent for a moment, and Raine started singing softly.
The sound was quiet at first, strained as Raine got used to singing so quietly. Y/N sighed, snuggling up closer to Raine as they whispered the lyrics. Y/N huffed, nudging them.
"What?" Raine laughed.
"Do it louder. Please." They added as a light squeeze from Raine reminded them. Raine chuckled again, and the sound rocked through Y/N's little body, making them squirm lightly.
Raine started again- louder- and Y/N yawned finally, shutting their eyes. Raine sighed, running their hand against the skin of Y/N's stomach soothingly, spooning with the child. They kept singing, until a rather loud snore cut through their words. They chuckled quietly, then made sure the covers were tight over the both of them.
They glanced over to the window, where the first lights of dawn were peeking over the head of the Titan. The window- covered in small dewdrops and condensation from the previous rain- let through a filtered soft light. Raine shifted the cover up so it would block the sun from waking thier child. Raine kept humming quietly, until they fell back asleep too.
---
Weeeeeee I think this is okay 👍

Feeling a real need to delve more deeply into my spirituality since all this happened.
It's a bit tricky to do in this situation, but visualization, journeying, and astral work is always an option I suppose.
My living environment is currently still too chaotic to do much else, and privacy is... lacking, in particular for outdoor things since this is somebody else's property. Haven't unpacked all my kitchen stuff yet, and don't really know where I'll be putting it all anyway, so kitchen magick is currently out.
I'm just going to have to fall back on the mental side of things for now, I suppose. I've been wanting to create a sort of "mind palace" or "astral temple" for workings for awhile now, so this may be a good time to look into the best way to do this. Visualization is useful for cleansing, grounding, warding, and charging. And meditation is always helpful in general.

Beloved Spawn
Pairing: Ascended Astarion x Human Female Tav
Warning(s) : Unhealthy relationship, Possessive Behavior, Manipulation (implied)
About: The ascendant remembers about his relationship with his most beloved spawn.
Notes: Post Tadpole, Soft Ascended Astarion, Astarion's prespective, My Tav X Astarion, Oneshot, Named Tav
>>>>>>>>>>==============<<<<<<<<<<<
Sacrifice and martyrdom.
A music that grates Astarion's ears to no end. The core teachings of Ilmater. Truthfully, one he has no intention to follow nor care but an inconvience he's willing to indulge as long as it comes from her lips, Saveena's lips.
His indulgences do have it's limits. Forget the Gods, she should worship him, submit, and be completely under his mercy. A delicious thought that sends shivers of excitement. A few sweet words of encouragement and his debonaire charm will do the trick. He knows it will work, two centuries of experience made him confident.
This is how it should, should be doing, not like this. Of course, nothing goes his way. The Gods must have cursed him or one of poor souls in his Ascension did. He clenches at the flowers in his hand as he stand in front of her--his consort's tombstone.

"Cyrus" Astarion calls the servant. "Make sure to send these papers. "
"At once milord." Cyrus bowed then sorts the paper.
Few more inks with these stacked papers and he's going to lose it. He knew running a palace is a lot of work but no one mentioned how annoying it could be. He puts down his glasses on his table and rub his forehead. Stressed, he stepped out of the study, passing through the same tasteless paintings and opulent decorations that fills the hallways.
He stopped at the balcony, only to be greeted by the green grass, gaudy flowers, and butterflies flying around the garden. This corner of the palace seemed out of place but welcome sight. He takes the sight, particularly his consort. Basking under the sun, as she hums while tending the plants.
"Astarion" She cheerfully called as she wipes the sweat off. "Care to join me? "
'Again? An attempt to divert me from my plans?' "I rather keep these nails clean, thank you."
"Alright, but if you do change your mind, you're always welcome to join me." She casually turned around to tend the plants.
"How...kind of you, but one I wouldn't take."
[...]
"Yes, my treasure, what is it?"
"I was wondering, if we could go out?" She hesitated before continued. "I want to experience going to the temple and visiting the orphange with you. "
"No." The very idea spoils his mood but masked a unreadable expression. "Besides you can't go out in the sun without me."
"That's perfect! " Her face brightens at the realization. "We have been together for awhile but I haven't even introduced you to my friends and family. Now, you really need to come."
The image of introducing himself to her love ones made him scoff. On the other hand, it's an opportunity to show people who Saveena belongs to. Now there's an idea he wouldn't mind.
"Afterwards, let's have a date or anything you feel like doing, sounds good?"
"Naughty-naughty, you don't know what I'll ask." He wraps an arm around her waist, practically breathing on her neck.
"I can handle it, besides I trust you." She patiently waits for his answer.
"Alright, but a peek of what's to come is in order, don't you think? "
"Got it!" She kissed his cheeks then smiled cheerfully.
He made sure that she forgot she even asked that day.
[...]
Astarion came back from a bussiness trip. As soon as he sets out of the carriage he was greeted with a smell of burnt crisps. He hurriedly went inside and saw the state of the ballroom. Tattered artworks, shattered vases and trails of blood. Infiltrated and ransacked, it could be anyone: his political and bussiness rivals or someone he pissed off for existing.
Saveena.
He immediately went to their room to check on her. Before he could get inside a Cyrus is sat on a ground while leaning on the wall. Holding the wound in his stomach. He should repimand him if didn't have to look for Saveena.
"Where is my consort?"
"At the garden...milord." He hastily makes his way into the gardens.
"I suggest you take your leave before I before I bury your corpse" From a distance, he heard Saveena say, threatningly. Something, he hand't heard for a long time.
"I wish we would have time to convince you but--"He heard an unfamiliar man said, he runs faster than before. Then felt a pain of one of his spawns.
Saveena evades the incoming stake the young elf is holding but still felt pain. As arrow suddenly appears hitting her back shoulder followed by another attempt from the young elf. This time it hits her heart. The pain made her kneel, she tried to cast restoration spell but your magic wouldn't work nor her vampire abilities are working.
"Saveena!" Astarion simply calling her name made her smile.
In an instant, Astarion is by her side, using his body as a support to keep her steady. He barked out orders to servants could respond. He should be berating their incompetence but decided to focus on Saveena.
"You're doing good, need to focus on me." She gritted her teeth as Astarion removed the arrow from shoulder, and realized it was coated with sussur bark. Looking around, the unfamiliar voice he heard nowhere in sight and the fire won't be put out soon.
"Come now, don't sleep on me darling." Astarion cradled her body protectively.
[... ]
"I love you."
The last three words Saveena uttered before her-- death. Three words that Astarion couldn't return, he tried to return these feelings, genuinely. This is what he desired but can't, being vunerable brings out unwanted feelings. Thus, he settled with the way he know how: gifts, lavishes, and her protection. He focused in her needs and wants that he failed to be with her. Truly, together, bonding--making memories while being true to oneself.
Power feeds his soul, it keeps him alive and safe. Power is also what destroyed his love for her. Despite all of it, Saveena always tried to include Astarion with her plans. Trying to ignite their love, while wearing the brightest smile, he had seen. She was truly a fool for loving a monster.
A fool that he didn't deserve.
